At Duel Academia, Judai and Kenzan actively enter the kitchen, asking Tome-San for their meal. They would like to prepare for their today duels, so they have to fulfill their energy at full stream. Behind them is Sho sitting along. He looks sad and doesn't touch anything on his meal. Then, Manjyome with black uniform enters the kitchen room, walks in, and sits at a table without saying anything. Tome-San brings Manjyome's food and places it onto the table. Everything on the tray is black, matching his Black Thunder title. Manjyome describes each menu and expresses his impression to Tome-San for such a perfect black food that seems to match his black theme.

Manjyome's Black Food Here is the explanation for Manjyome's black and traditional Japanese food. It's all black to match his black uniform after he has just returned to Osiris Red. Yakinori | Toasted Seaweed "Yakinori" is "nori" (seaweed) been lightly toasted to an greenish-black color. It usually comes prepackaged in a cube (or can simply be made that way.) Seaweed is used in various dishes all over Asia. Garnishes, snack foods, drinks, soups, and even the onigiri (rice balls) most of you would see in anime (for anyone who might want to know, it's the strip of black usually depicted.) Yakinori's color makes it a perfect addition to Manjoume Thunder's meal! Wakame no Misoshiru | Miso Soup with Wakame Seaweed "Misoshiru" is a common delicacy in Japan, and widely seen in any Japanese restaurant. It's a soup made of miso (made by the softened form of the thick fermented bean paste known as "Miso"). Miso soup is sort of like the "stock pot" soup. You can add any number of ingredients into it. Such include mushrooms, tofu, rice, shrimp, and most commonly you will see green strips of seaweed in it. That is the wakame seaweed plant, an ingredient in many kinds of soup other than Miso itself. The wakame in Manjoume's miso seems to be the right color, so it's a great addition for Manjoume Thunder's meal! Kogeta Mezashi | Burnt Dried Sardines "Mezashi" is the name of sardines that are dried and usually put on some sort of stick, string, or a skewer and held over some sort of flame to let them cook. This is a common meal for Osiris Red dorm. "Mezashi" is a combination of words basically meaning "strung through the eyes". And the word "kogeta" is a form of the word "kogeru" (to burn.) So that explains their otherwise black apperance on his plate. This is the meat on Manjoume Thunder's meal. Very suiting! Hijiki no Nimono | Boiled Dish of Hijiki Seaweed and Other Contents The Hijiki seaweed is usually found along the rocky parts of coastlines (so it's pretty uncommon, to say the least.) "Hijiki" has a very greenish and orangy-brown color to it. However, when cooked (usually boiled of fried) it turns a thick black and sort of look like collard greens at the very bottom of the pot after they've been overcooked. Hijiki is usually used as a health food outside of being an ingredient (very good for you actually.) Hijiki no Nimono can usually be a smorgishboard of different ingredients (mushrooms, chicken, fish, carrots.) It's jet-black color only makes it suit Manjoume Thunder! Information by Horoko

Kenzan gives his view that White is too risky and this Black is safer for Manjyome. Manjyome gets annoyed and says that he doesn't need his fashion check. While Kenzan is getting mad by his words, Judai breaks the discussion. He looks happy, raises his hand, and says "Manjyome seems to revive completely. GX! Let's show the power of our red dorm". Kenzan agrees by raising his hand excitedly. Nevertheless, Manjyome interrupts and says "You are Yellow, and so are you, Marufuji Sho". People then turn to see Sho who seems to have no response at all. Judai walks in and asks what's wrong with him. Sho looks very worried and explains that he has heard some rumor from Yellow students yesterday. They saw Kaiser arrive the island by a ferry. People realize that this means Kaiser is also going to participate in GX. Judai becomes more excited by the coming of Kaiser. People, however, don't think so especially Sho who seems to be much more worried about his dear brother.

On the other side, many ladies in swimming suits are dueling at the beach. Fubuki is riding a ski jet from the sea towards them, calling his brand name in a different way "Enjoin Tenjoin!", and winking to the girls. He greets the ladies, "Hi, everybody! Are you fine?", as riding around. The ladies are all attracted, trying to reach him. Fubuki then lands on shore and gets dressed by his Blue uniform. He notices a ton of ladies running towards him. They would like to duel with him and give him their medals. Fubuki doesn't want to receive the medals from them. Only their warm hearts are enough to him. His words seem to cause the opposite effect. The ladies are getting more attracted and trying to approach him. As the dust settles after they ladies run pass, there appears Fubuki sitting on a bench, disguising like an uncle with neat hair and fake mustache, and reading a newspaper. When he is sure that everybody is gone, he messes up his hair and returns to his original appearance. Fubuki smiles a bit before looking up toward Duel Academia building. He reminds himself of what he talked to Principle Samejima in the principle room.

"Before, Marufuki Ryo used to be a student of Cyber School where I was a teacher. You who are his close friend might have heard this at the first time", Principle Samejima began the topic while Fubuki looked surprised by Ryo's story that he had never heard before. Principle Samejima kept on saying, "At Cyber School, Cyber End Dragon has been transferred through a successor with respect duel generation for generation. However, on the other side, there still existed Tail deck with oppose to the respect mind. Ryo....that...Ryo's soul has already been dyed dark by that deck. Fubuki-Kun, you as his close friend, may be able to hear his scream on the opposite dark side of his heart". He reminded himself of his duel against Ryo in episode 83, expressing his much concern to the current condition of ex-student. Fubuki just listened to the story with such a serious face with saying nothing.

After recalling what he discussed with Principle Samejima, Fubuki takes his belonging and walks straight to the cliff. He looks down and sees Ryo in Hell Kaiser form at the lighthouse. "Ryo, before, I was called Darkness. My body and heart were controlled and taken into shadow", Fubuki thinks while recalling the event that he was one of the 7 stars named Darkness and controlled to duel against Judai (episode 29 and episode 30). "The ones who saved me at that time were Judai-Kun and his friends, Asuka, and...Ryo", Fubuki thinks again. He also reminds himself of what he talked to Ryo after that at the lighthouse during sunset. During that time, Fubuki thanked Ryo for saving him back from darkness. Everybody was like the light shining in his dark side to bring him back.

Kaiser	It was right here...underneath the presence of this lighthouse, Asuka and I would exchange any small scraps of information about you we would have. But flashing some light on the darkness doesn't mean it'll shine its way to the other side.
Fubuki	Oh, but the light made it, alright. All the way to the bottom of that darkness. Just like this lighthouse serves as a beacon for ships out on the night sea...That radiance and the feelings of you and the others, Ryo, brought me back to the way I was. Thank you...

Ryo turns up to the cliffs and captures Fubuki's eyes. Fubuki turns back and walks away. Ryo begins to follow him as if he understands Fubuki's challenging sight. Fubuki leads him to volcano area, and Ryo asks where here is. Fubuki changes his cloth again into Darkness uniform. He says, "Here is where Darkness of 7 stars battled Judai. Ryo, if you say that you are in darkness, I will go with you. I will find your true personality inside darkness, and leave the darkness together. For that, I have to borrow the shadow power", before taking out his shadow deck. Black aura then emerges from the deck. Ryo notices that Darkness hasn't been reinstated completely yet. Fubuki is certain that he won't be taken by darkness again as placing his shadow deck into the duel disk. This time, he will control darkness. As a result, Ryo decides to fight Fubuki by his new Tail deck. He takes it up and places into his duel disk. The wind blows like a sign of the starting point. When both of them are ready, the game between two darknesses begins.

First turn comes to Fubuki. He draws a card and summons [Red-Eyes B. Chick ~ Kokuryuu No Hina - 1/800/500: You can put this face-up card from your Field into the Cemetery to Special Summon 1 Red Eyes B. Dragon from your hand] onto the field in attack position. According to its effect, he can discard this monster into the graveyard to special summon [Red-Eyes Black Dragon - 7/2400/2000] onto the field. After that, he plays the magic card [Inferno Fire Blast ~ Kokuendan - Select 1 face-up Red-Eyes B. Dragon on your Field and activate. Do damage to your opponent equal to the base attack strength of the chosen Red-Eyes B. Dragon. During the turn that this card is activated, Red-Eyes B. Dragon can't attack] with Red Eyes Black Dragon. It allows his Red Eyes Black Dragon to attack Ryo directly and deal damage points equal to its original attack points to him. Fubuki declares the battle, and Red Eyes Black Dragon launches Inferno Fire Blast toward Ryo. Thus, Ryo's LP reduces dramatically to 1600 (4000-2400). Setting up a card, Fubuki ends his turn.

Ryo seems impressed by Red Eyes' combo that Fubuki could call and play in the first turn. Anyway, he points out that it should be better called the shadow power of Darkness. Fubuki tells him not to be worried. He still keeps him as good friend while noticing the black aura emerging from his deck disappearing.

Next turn comes to Ryo. Drawing a card, he summons [Cyber Dark Horn - 4/800/800: When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned successfully, select 1 Level 4 or lower Dragon-Type Monster in either player's Graveyard, treat this card as an Equip Card and Equip it. Increase this card's ATK by an amount equal to the Equipped Monster's ATK. If this card attacks with an ATK higher than the DEF of your opponent's Defense Position monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. If this card would be destroyed as a result of battle, destroy the Equipped Dragon-Type Monster instead] onto the field in attack position. Fubuki looks obviously surprised by the monster that he has never seen before.

Ryo explains the effect of Cyber Dark Horn that when it's successfully summoned, it can be equipped with a dragon-monster in any graveyard. He certainly picks up Red-Eyes B. Chick in Fubuki's cemetery. Red-Eyes B. Chick is equipped with Cyber Dark Horn. It screams as Cyber Dark Horn stabs it with many wires and holds it with black metal claws. In addition to the special effect of Cyber Dark Horn, its attack points can be increased by Red-Eyes B. Chick's attack points. Thus, its total attack points become 1600 (800+800). Also, it attacks a monster with less defense points than its attack points, the difference damages can be inflicted directly to Fubuki.

Ryo hasn't finished his preparation yet. He plays the equipment magic card, [Megamorph ~ Kyodaika - Equipment Magic: While your Life Points are lower than your opponent's, double the original ATK of a monster equipped wiht this card. While your LIfe Points are higher, halve original ATK], with Cyber Dark Horn. By its effect, when his LP (1600) is lower than Fubuki's (4000), he can double the original attack points of the equipped monster Cyber Dark Horn. As a result, the attack points of Cyber Dark Horn are powered up to 2400 (800*2+800). Fubuki notices that Cyber Dark Horn has the same attack points as Red Eyes' now. Ryo claims that Cyber Dark Horn still has the last special effect. He can destroy the monster equipped with it to keep it from the destruction.

Cyber Dark Horn Monster Card	Megamorph Magic Card

When everything is ready, Ryo declares the strike of Cyber Dark Horn against Red Eyes Black Dragon. At this moment, Fubuki opens his reversed trap card [Negate Attack ~ Kougeki No Muryoku Ka - Trap: Activate when your opponent attacks, negate that attack and end your opponents Battle Phase]. This card negates the attack of Cyber Dark Horn and forces Ryo to end his battle phase. Thus, Ryo just sets up a face-down card and ends his turn.

Fubuki realizes that this monster is merely one of Ryo's Tail deck. He wonders what kind of tactics is coming. The turn is back to him. He draws a card, and there again appears the black aura emering from the card. Fubuki can feel the powerful strength of Darkness remaining in it. The soul of Darkness sealed in the shadow mask seems to laugh for him. Fubuki knows that it's danderous, but he has no choice. Now, the shadow power of Darkness is necessary to him. Sacrifing Red Eyes Black Dragon, he special summons his ultimate shadow monster, [Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon - 9/2400/2000: This cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by tributing Red-Eyes B. Dragon on your side of the field. Increase the attack of this card by 300 points for each Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard] onto the field in attack position. The black aura expands around Fubuki, and he seems to suffer by its power. Fubuki tries to raise up his shaking body to continue his play.

On the other side of the forest, Judai have just finished the game with another duelist. It ends up with his victory. After he finishes his favorite that it's such a fun duel, the sky suddenly becomes cloudly following by the voice of thunder. Judai looks up to the mountain and notices Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. Kenzan and Sho then join him. Sho says that Fubuki-San currently seems to duel against his dear brother. Kenzan just wonders why Fubuki sempai has approached into this duel. Anyhow, Judai remembers Fubuki's monster very well. It's what he used to face against while dueling with Darkness (episode 29 and episode 30). This concerns Judai about Fubuki's condition pretty much, so he begins to run off following by Sho and Kenzan.

Fubuki eplains the effect of Red Eyes Darkness Dragon that its attack points can go up by 300 points for each dragon-type monster in the graveyard. There is only one Red Eyes Black Dragon in his cemetery, so the total attack points of Red Eyes Darkness Dragon become 2700 (2400+300). Fubuki declares the attack of Red Eyes Darkness Dragon, Darkness Giga Flame, against Cyber Dark Horn afterward. This strike reduces Ryo's LP to 1300 (1600+2400-2700). As Ryo previously mentioned about the special effect of Cyber Dark Horn, only the equipped monster, Red-Eyes B. Chick, is destroyed to keep Cyber Dark Horn from destruction in battle. Fubuki claims that Red-Eyes B. Chick is sent back to his cemetery, so it increases the attack points of Red Eyes Darkness Dragon to 3000 (2700+300).

Next, Fubuki plays the magic card [Super Rejuvenation ~ Chousaisei Nouryoku - Instant Magic: During the End Phase of the turn this card is activated, draw 1 card for each Dragon-Type monster discarded from your hand and/or offered as a Tribute during this turn] from his hand. It allows him to draw a card equal to the number of dragon-type monster he gave as a tribute in this turn. During this turn, Fubuki gave only one Red Eyes Black Dragon as a tribute to special summon Red Eyes Darkness Dragon, so he can draw one card. When he ends his turn, he can hear the laughing voice of Darkness's spirit from his own mind.

Turn is now with Ryo. He draws a card and turns Cyber Dark Horn into a defense position. Then, he summons [Cyber Dark Edge - 4/800: When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned successfully, select 1 Level 4 or lower Dragon-Type Monster in either player's Graveyard, treat this card as an Equip Card and Equip it. Increase this card's ATK by an amount equal to the Equipped Monster's ATK. By reducing this card's ATK by half, this card can launch a direct attack on the opponent. If this card would be destroyed as a result of battle, destroy the Equipped Dragon-Type Monster instead] onto the field in attack position. Similar to the effect of Cyber Dark Horn, Cyber Dark Edge can equip a dragon-type monster from any cemetery to increase its own attack points after it's summoned successfully. Ryo again takes Red-Eyes B. Chick from Fubuki's cemetery and equips it with Cyber Dark Edge. Therefore, the attack points of Cyber Dark Edge become 1600 (800+800). Without Red-Eyes B. Chick in Fubuki's graveyard, the attack points of Red Eyes Darkness Dragon decrease to 2700 (3000-300).

Super Rejuvenation Magic Card	Cyber Dark Edge Monster Card

Ryo activates another special effect of Cyber Dark Edge before striking. He can halve its attack points to do the direct attack to Fubuki. As a result, the attack points of Cyber Dark Edge go down to 800 (1600/2) before it strikes Fubuki directly. Getting the direct hit, Fubuki's LP reduces to 3200 (4000-800). Ryo sets up another reversed card before ending his turn here.

The turn comes back to Fubuki. The black aura and the shadow power surrounding him are getting more intense, depressing him pretty much. He draws a card, playing a magic card [Dragon's Heart - Magic: Select 3 Dragon-Type Monsters from your Deck and send them to the Graveyard. (Shuffle your deck afterwards.) Increase the ATK of 1 Dragon-Type Monster on your side of the Field by 1000 points until the end of the turn. If you activate this card, you cannot Normal Summon during the turn this card was activated]. Following its effect, he can discard three dragon-type monsters, Troop Dragon/Attachment Dragon/Mirage Dragon, from his deck into the graveyard in order to power up the attack points of a dragon-type monster on his field by 1000 points. Thus, the attack points of Red Eyes Darkness Dragon become 3700 (2700+1000). Furthermore, because there are three more dragon-type monsters in his cemetery, the strength points of Red Eyes Darkness Dragon can be boosted up to 4600 (3700+300*3).

In exchange of this tremendous power, Fubuki has to suffer from the shadow aura intensively emerging. He realizes well that this is the shadow power, but he can't be caught and give up because he and Ryo can aim to the light from this darkness. Fubuki next declares the attack of Red Eyes Darnkess Dragon against Cyber Dark Edge after that. Meanwhile, Judai, Kenzan, and Sho have just arrived. Sho is looking very worried about his dear brother while Judai seems more concerned by Fubuki. Darkness Giga Flame of Red Eyes Darnkess Dragon is launched, burning Ryo's monster. However, because Cyber Dark Egde has similar effect to Cyber Dark Horn's, only the equipped monster, Red Eyes B. Check, is destroyed to keep Cyber Dark Egde from the destruction in battle. Fubuki claims that although Ryo's monster can't be destroyed, he still has to receive the damages equal to the differences of 3000 (4600-1600).

At this timing, Ryo activates his reversed trap card [Power Wall - Trap: This can only be activated when you would recieve Battle Damage from a Monster. Send any number of cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard. Reduce the amount of Battle Damage you recieve by the number of cards sent to the Graveyard x 100 points]. Surprising everybody, Ryo takes out a ton of cards from his deck and throws them away. He explains that Power Wall can be activated only if he is receiving battle damage from a monster. By its effect, he can reduce the battle damage by 100 points for each discard card from the top of his deck into the cemetery. He threw away 30 cards, so 3000 damage points become invalid to his LP (damage: 0=1600-3000+100*30).

Dragon's Heart Magic Card	Power wall Trap Card

Fubuki looks upset and disappointed to seeing Ryo throwing his cards away like trash. He wonders whether Ryo has been taken by the power of darkness completely. At his bottom that the light can't be reached is the hidden power of Fubuki. The shadow mask of Darkness appears above black aura, following with his voice, "My name is Darkness. I once again emerge from shadow". The shadow mask is placed onto his face, and Fubuki now becomes Darkness, one of the 7 stars. People are getting surprised when Fubuki's personality has already changed.

Darkness Fubuki keeps on playing the magic card [Dragon's Gunfire ~ Karyuu No Kaendan - Magic: You can activate this card only when you have a face-up Dragon-Type monster on your side of the field. Select and activate 1 of the following effects:
1) Inflict 800 points of Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points. 2) Destroy 1 face-up monster with a DEF of 800 points or less]. It allows him to destroy one face-up monster on Ryo's field with 800 or less defense points. Thus, Cyber Dark Edge is destroyed. At his end phase, because Dragon's Heart isn't the permanent magic, the attack points of Red Eyes Darkness Dragon decrease to 3900 (4900-1000). Darkness Fubuki ends his turn at this point. He notes that Ryo has only three cards left in his deck because of his stupid play to discard 30 cards away.

The turn returns to Ryo. He draws a card and opens his face-down permanent trap card [Call of the Haunted ~ Living Dead No Yobi Koe - Permanent Trap: Select 1 monster from your Graveyard and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. When this card is destroyed or removed from the field, the summoned monster is destroyed. If the summoned monster is destroyed, this card is also destroyed] to special resummon Cyber Dark Edge from the cemetery in attack position. Darkness Fubuki thinks that it's such a useless struggle in front of his Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. Anyway, he is then surprised by that Ryo is summoning another new monster [Cyber Dark Keel - 4/800] onto the field in attack mode. Ryo next plays Polymerization to fuse Cyber Dark Horn, Cyber Dark Keel, and Cyber Dark Edge on the field into his ultimate dragon monster, [Cyber Dark Dragon ~ Gaikoku Ryu Cyber Dark Dragon - 8/1000/1000: This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned successfully, select 1 Dragon-Type Monster in either player's Graveyard, treat this card as an Equip Card and Equip it. Increase this card's ATK by an amount equal to the Equipped Monster's ATK. Increase this Monster's ATK for each monster card in your Graveyard x100 points. If this card would be destroyed as a result of battle, destroy the Equipped Dragon-Type Monster instead].

Cyber Dark Keel Monster Card	Cyber Dark Dragon Monster Card

Darkness Fubuki doesn't think that 1000 attack points still aren't enough to oppose his monster. Ryo then explains potential of Cyber Dark Dragon. Like other Cyber Dark monsters, Cyber Dark Dragon can strengthen its attack points when equipped with a dragon-monster in any graveyard. Thus, Ryo, at this time, picks up the highest monster in Fubuki's cemetery, Red Eyes Black Dragon, and equips it with his Cyber Dark Dragon. By this play, the attack points of Cyber Dark Dragon go up to 3400 (1000+2400). Without Red Eyes Black Dragon in Fubuki's cemetery, Red Eyes Darkness Dragon's attack points decrease to 3600 (3900-300). Darkness Fubuki sees that his Red Eyes Darkness Dragon still has higher attack points than Cyber Dark Dragon's. Ryo mentions that Cyber Dark Dragon has one more effect. Its attack points can be increased by 100 points for each card in his graveyard. There are 37 cards in his cemetery, so the total attack points of Cyber Dark Dragon become 7100 (3400 + 37*100).

Judai has just realized Ryo's purpose to discard 30 cards into the cemetery by the effect of Power Wall. Ryo might have waited for this time to use them increase the attack points of his monster. "This is such a haughty tactic to despise the opponent perfectly. This isn't my dear brother~", Sho comments and hardly believes what he's seeing. The final movement has come. Ryo declares the attack of Cyber Dark Dragon against Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. There appears such a big explosion. At this timing, Fubuki hears the voice of Ryo inside his mind that tells him to wake up and be separate from Darkness. Inside the darkness, Fubuki hears Ryo's voice coming from the burning light in front of him. It's the true heart of Ryo. Ryo confesses that he hasn't been captured by darkness, neither lost his own way. He just wants to find out what brings out the power of darkness that even the light can't illuminate in order to obtain the victory. Fubuki still doesn't understand why Ryo has to struggle so much for such a victory. Then, Ryo disappears in his mind, and the burning light becomes larger.

Fubuki	Light? Ryo's voice is coming from that light?
Ryo	Fubuki, darkness isn't inside me. I am not taken by darkness.
Fubuki	Are you saying that you haven't lost your own way?
Ryo	Darkness that even the light can't illuminate...I just wanna know what brings out that kind of power.
Fubuki	Why...this kind of thing?
Ryo	To obtain victory!
Fubuki	Victory? Why have you been much attached to victory? Ryo!

The explosion finally blows Darkness' mask away. It also seems to blow away the black aura inside Fubuki. Ryo smirks after the game ends by his victory. Fubuki's LP goes down to 0 (3200+3600-7100). Fubuki raises his face up, calls Ryo's name, and still looks confused. Ryo looks coldly at Fubuki. Judai and Kenzan run into Fubuki with concern. Sho doesn't follow but looks at his dear brother seriously. Judai and Kenzan wonder how Fubuki is. Especially, Judai is concerned about his Darkness personality. Fubuki smiles and tells him not be worried. Darkness is no longer inside him. Judai feels so relieved after hearing that. Anyway, Fubuki turns to Ryo and thinks, "Perhaps, that's because of Ryo. You actually haven't forgotten your heart that gives respect to the others yet. ...no matter you confronted against me or Darkness. Is that so?".

Fubuki gets up and says that it's very impressive. "This medal belongs to you", he says while throwing the medal onto the ground for Ryo. However, Ryo steps on it, surprising people very much. He says, "I am not interested in this kind of thing. Just getting the victory in hand is good enough for me". Then, he turns and walks straight to Sho's direction. Sho glares at his dear brother after watching every single of his act. Ryo doesn't seem to have Sho in his sight. Ryo walks pass Sho without saying a word or even acknowledging his existence. Judai obviously looks worried about Sho.

"Dear Brother, this time, I will defeat you!", Sho thinks seriously about beating Ryo.
