Inside the cave, Manjyome is still staying
with Mizuchi. The icy wind then swirls, and there appears
Kourimaru carrying the unconscious bodies of Sho and Kenzan.
He reports his returning to Mizuchi as throwing Sho and
Kenzan onto the ground. Kourimaru calls out his two friends
[Hounomaru ~ Fire Ninja], who
appears with the blowing fire, and [Iwamaru
~ Rock Ninja], who appears from the ground. Kourimaru
tells them to take Sho and Kenzan to their planed target,
Kaibaland. Houomaru looks confused, and asks why he and
Iwamaru have to do this job. Seeing Kourimaru looking irritated,
Houomaru complies to his words. He and Iwamaru walk into
Sho and Kenzan. Manjyome asks whether they intend to use
Sho and Kenzan lure Judai to Kaibaland. Kourimaru confirms
him, and says that he would love to duel against Judai if
it's necessary. Mizuchi interrupts him, saying that he has
done well enough. She feels pity to Kourimaru for his hard
time to bring back these baits (Sho and Kenzan). At the
same time, Houomaru and Iwamaru are leaving to bring Sho
and Kenzan to Kaibaland. Mizuchi considers Kourimaru merely
a stupidly normal human. Kourimaru looks slightly surprised
before seeing a circle mirror appearing behind him. Another
mirror also appears above Ikazuchimaru still staying unconscious
on the top of the building. It starts to glow and absorbs
Ikazuchimaru inside. Kourimaru becomes very shocked and
doesn't understand why Mizuchi is doing this to him. The
mirror absorbs Kourimaru too, and his and Ikazuchimaru's
souls are then sealed into cards. Manjyome is getting amazed
while Mizuchi is smirking.

Judai runs into Blue accommodation in the city, a grand
hotel, calling Saiou to come out. However, he is blocked
by many White students and Asuka. Judai knows that Sho and
Kenzan are with Saiou's younger sister, so he wants to follow
Saiou to meet them. He yells out loud again, telling Saiou
to appear. A car then arrives, and Manjyome steps out. He
tells Judai that he has a message from Mizuchi-Sama. If
Judai wants to save Sho and Kenzan, he has to go to Kaibaland
tomorrow. Judai looks surprised
a bit before being thrown away. Manjyome and Asuka claim
that here is the reserved place not for the Red student
like him. Then, he and other White students move inside,
leaving Judai alone. While Judai is getting mad, he hears
some groaning sound coming behind bush. There appears Fubuki
laying down with a bruise on his left eye.

Mizuchi throws the cards sealing Kourimaru's and Ikazuchimaru's
souls to Houomaru and Iwamaru. They certainly look pretty
shocked by what happened to their friends. Mizuchi tells
them that the four monarchs have already been useless, so
they should grant her back their power. She begins to cast
her power as a mirror appears behind two of them. While
the mirror begins to glow, Iwamaru takes Houomaru down to
the ground with him. Both of them can finally escape from
Mizuchi. She doesn't look worried since she seems able to
catch them anytime.
At a local inn is the resident of Ra Yellow. The students
and Kabayama teacher are having a dinner. The students report
that Misawa, Kenzan, and Sho have been away. Kabayama teacher
has already got used to this kind of situation. He can guess
that three of them may be with Judai.
The Red students feel miserable aside a river, having a
fire camp. While Ra Yellow group stays in an Onzen inn (Hot
Spring Inn) and White group stays in a deluxe hotel, Red
group has to have a little camp near the river. Even Fubuki
was kicked out while he was trying to see Asuka at the hotel.
Judai feels sorry that the situation has to end up like
this (There is still the discrimination among the dorms
for the accomodations). He selects this place for the school
trip so that people can enjoy the city of Mutou Yugi. Then,
Sugoroku appears with the bags full of hamburger. Red students
really enjoy to have them. However, Judai still looks sad
and doesn't eat anything. Sugoroku tries to comfort him.
Although Judai has to go and face the enemy tomorrow, he
should enjoy the trip today. It isn't too late if Judai
wants to give more try later. Sugoroku then gives him a
hamburger. Judai agrees with him before taking the hamburger
and enjoying to eat it. Meanwhile, Misawa runs toward Red
camp, calling for Judai. Judai wonders whether Misawa has
left Yellow inn. Misawa says that he prefers to stay and
enjoy with his old friends here. Sugoroku looks amused and
says that they probably have the same age. Edo sitting inside
his resident vehicle thinks that Misawa is such a careless
guy who doesn't say the right word. Then, he closes the
curtain and keeps himself inside the vehicle alone.
Note: Misawa says "Chikuba
No Tomo" which means true childhood friends
or friends who have known each other since the elementary
school (mostly staying together more than 5-7 years). It
is unsual for high school students in Japan to call their
classmates like this. This explains why Sugoroku and Edo
are amused by Misawa's words because he and Judai are supposed
to see each other not for more than 1-2 years in Duel Academia.
In other words, they can't be "Chikuba
No Tomo" or childhood friends.

At this moment, Iwamaru and Houomaru are walking along
the river after they escaping from Mizuchi. They are getting
worried about their current position. When the power of
the four monarchs were taken back by Mizuchi, they become
normal duelists. Thus, they plan to take down Judai to regain
his position. Houomaru agrees to this good plan, but they
have the problem that they don't know Judai's face. Thus,
both of them fall down onto the floor with despair. Meanwhile,
Judai walks in and comes across these two people. He wonders
what they are doing here, then bringing them back to the
red camp. Houomaru and Iwamaru finally join the dinner,
having the hamburger with people. They have just realized
that the story of Duel Academia school trip. They seem to
know this school pretty well. Judai wonders how much both
of them know about his school. Houomaru mentions that he
would once love to enter this school. Nevertheless, he would
have fallen the admission exam anyway if he had gone through.
Sugoroku adds that it's such the great competition for the
candidates, and the students here are all the chosen ones
from that admission exam. Hearing the words about the chosen
duelists, Houomaru becomes very interested. He would like
to try dueling against them as throwing the hamburger paper
into the camp fire to burn it out. Misawa tells him that
people here are really strong. Houomaru tells him not to
say stupid things as if he is looked down. Misawa is afraid
to say that he doesn't kid him. Houomaru wonders whether
the elites of Dual Academy can't accept to be defeated by
them. Perhaps, they are afraid that they may not be able
to get back if they lose. Houomaru, anyway, convinces them
by saying that they are also outstanding duelists in Domino
City. Judai gets excited by their strength, agreeing to
duel with them quickly. Iwamaru warns Judai not to do so
since they are pretty strong. Judai doesn't believe that
he can't do unless he tries first. As usual, he would like
to duel because he gets very excited by fighting against
strong people. Iwamaru thinks that Judai is such an interesting
guy. He accepts the duel while getting and warning Judai
not to take it easy.

Both Judai and Iwamaru are preparing their duel disks,
standing near the river. It seems to be the same battlefield
where Mutou Yugi used to fight against the killer doll of
Malik and Osiris the Sky Dragon in Battle City. Houomara
tells Iwamaru that he will be next after Iwamaru finishes
dueling against Judai. Hearing their names, Judai thinks
that they are such cool (ninja) names. Iwamaru says that
he hasn't known Judai's name yet. When Judai expresses his
identity, Iwamaru and Houomaru are very surprised by the
fact that Judai's the one whom they have looked for. Judai
sees their attitude change shortly, so he asks whether there
is something wrong. Iwamaru tells him that they are Saiou
Mizuchi's subordinates, and he and Houomaru are ones of
the four monarchs. Meanwhile, Mizuchi can catch up while
looking the event through her mirror. She thinks that the
situation becomes more interesting but their duel like this
will be boring. Thus, Mizuchi creates a mirror above them
to consume Houomaru inside. While Iwamaru is getting shocked,
he sees a card flying into his deck. Mizuchi tells him that
his deck has already been complete to fight by now. She
forces Iwamaru to duel unless he wants his power become
nothing but cheap entertainment. Iwamaru looks very confused
as Judai is getting shocked. Judai asks whether it's gonna
be kidding that Iwamaru is Mizuchi's friend. Iwamaru doesn't
say anything but prepares his duel disk and declares to
begin the duel. Judai has no choice but follows his step.
First turn comes to Iwamaru. He draws a card and gets Granmarg
the Rock Monarch. Anyway, he summons [Mine
Golem - 4/1000/1900: When this card is sent to the Graveyard
as a result of battle, inflice 500 points of damage to your
opponent's Life Points] onto the field in an attack
position. After that, he plays a permanent magic [Guiding
Steep ~ Michibiki No Kougyoku - Permanent Magic: {When a
Rock Sub-Type Monster on your Field is destroyed. You can
Special Summon 1 Monster with the same name as that one
from your deck to the Field.}] from his hand. There
is a giant rock appearing behind him. Fubuki looks surprised
while Misawa notes that it's a plain combo. Setting up two
face-down cards, Iwamaru ends his turn. Judai doesn't seem
to pay attention to the game, demanding the answer why Iwamaru
had to attack his friends, Sho and Kenzan. Iwamaru doesn't
care but calls for Judai's turn after his ending.

Magic Card |
The turn is with Judai. He draws a card and gets E-Hero
Neos. Other cards on his hand are De-Fusion, O-Over Soul,
E-Hero Bubbleman, E-Hero Featherman, and E-Hero Sparkman.
He decides to summon [E-Hero Sparkman
- 4/1600/1400] onto the field in an attack position.
He declares its attack against Mine Golem quickly. When
Mine Golem is destroyed, Iwamaru's LP reduces to 3400 (4000+1000-1600).
Iwamaru, at this moment, activates the special effect of
Mine Golem. When it's sent to the graveyard as a result
of battle, Judai has to receive the direct damages of 500
points. Thus, his LP goes down to 3500 (4000-500). Iwamaru
also claims the effect of his permanent magic, Guiding Steep.
When his Rock monster, Mine Golem, was destroyed, he can
summon another monster with the same name from his deck
onto the field. Therefore, another Mine Golem is specially
summoned in an attack position.

Minefield
Eruption
Trap Card |
In addition, Iwamaru opens his reversed trap card [Minefield
Eruption ~ Ganban Bakuha - Trap: Inflice 1000 points of
damage to your opponent's Life Points for each face-up "Mine
Golem" on your side of the field. After that, destroy
all face-up "Mine Golem"(s) on your side of the
field]. By its effect, Judai has to receive another
direct 1000 damages for each Mine Golem on the field. There
is only one Mine Golem on the field, so Judai's LP further
decreases to 2500 (3500-1000). After that, Mine Golem must
be destroyed. However, Iwamaru claims the effect of permanent
magic, Guiding Steep, to special summon new Mine Golem from
his deck onto the field in an attack position (This is supposed
to be his third Mine Golem in his deck). Judai seems in
trouble, dealing with such an effective rock combo of Iwamaru. |

Turn is back to Iwamaru. He draws a card and
plays Pot of Greed to draw additional two cards. Sacrificing
Mine Golem, he summons [Granmarg the
Rock Monarch ~ Chitei Granmarg - 6/2400/1100: When this
card is Tribute Summoned successfully, destroy 1 face-down
card on the field] onto the field in an attack position.
Due to its effect, when it's tribute summoned successfully,
Iwamaru can destroy one face-down card on the field. Judai
says that he has no reversed card on his field, so Iwamaru's
face-down card is supposed to be destroyed. Iwamaru claims
that it's exactly what he aims to. With the special effect,
Granmarg the Rock Monarch then destroys Iwamaru's face-down
trap card [Dormant Volcano ~ Kyuukazan
- Trap: When this card is destroyed and sent to the Cemetery
as a result of an effect, activate this effect. Deal 300
points of damage to the opposing player. One turn later,
during your own Standby Phase, both players may add 1 Fire
Main-Type Monster from their decks into their hands].
The effect of this card can be activated when it's sent
to the cemetery. It can deal direct 300 damages to Judai,
so Judai's LP goes down to 2200 (2500-300). Meanwhile, Edo
steps out from his resident vehicle to see the duel.

Trap Card |
Iwamaru explains another effect of Dormant
Volcano that both sides can add a fire-type monster from
their decks onto their hands in his next standby phase.
It's now Iwamaru's battle phase. He declares the attack
of Granmarg the Rock Monarch against E-Hero Sparkman. When
E-Hero Sparkman is destroyed, Judai's LP reduces to 1400
(2200+1600-2400). Then, Iwamaru ends his turn. He wonders
whether this is actually Judai's power. Judai looks worried
and says that he doesn't understand why Sho and Kenzan were
caught. The duel that he actually wants isn't like this.
Iwamaru looks very serious and says that it doesn't matter
now whether he has to abandon or stab back his friends because
he has nothing left but this duel. Judai, at this point,
seemingly becomes sympathetic to him. Iwamaru asks Judai
show his real strength; otherwise, he can't prove his true
power. Judai smirks before accepting Iwamaru's feeling.
He also decides not to hesitate and move on firmly without
further questioning anything.
It's now Judai's turn. Drawing a card, he
summons [E-Hero Bubbleman - 4/800/1200:
If this card is the only card in your hand, you can Special
Summon it in attack mode. When this card is successfully
Normal Summoned, Special Summoned, or Reverse Summoned when
it is the only card on your Field, draw 2 cards from your
deck] onto the field in an attack position. Due to
its effect, Judai can draw additional two cards when it's
the only one card on the field. Then, he plays [O-Over
Soul ~ Magic: Special summon 1 Normal monster with "Elemental
Hero" in its name from your graveyard] from
his hand. It allows him to special summon E-Hero Sparkman
back from his cemetery. Judai then plays Polymerization
to fuse E-Hero Sparkman and E-Hero Bubbleman on the field
with E-Hero Featherman on his hand into [E-Hero
Tempester - 8/2800/2800: This monster cannot be Special
Summoned except by Fusion Summon. By sending 1 card (except
this card) from your side of the field to the Graveyard,
select 1 monster on your side of the field. While this card
is face-up on the field, the selected monster is not destroyed
as a result of battle. (Damage calculation is applied normally.)].
Judai equips it with the magic card [Elemental
Sword - Equipment Magic: When the Equipped Monster is in
battle with a Monster of a different Main-Type, increase
the Equipped Monster's attack strength by 800]. By
its effect, when E-Hero Tempester faces against a different
type of monster, Granmarg the Rock Monarch, its attack points
can go up by 800 points. Sugoroku notes that E-Hero Tempester
has a wind type while Granmarg the Rock Monarch has an earth
type, so the effect of Elemental Sword is valid. In total,
the attack points of E-Hero Tempester become 3600 (2800+800).
Judai declares the attack of E-Hero Sparkman
against Granmarg the Rock Monarch. When Granmarg the Rock
Monarch's destroyed, Iwamaru's LP decreases to 2200 (3400+2400-3600).
Just then, Iwamaru activates the permanent effect of Guiding
Steep. Another Granmarg the Rock Monarch is special summoned
from his deck onto the field in an attack position. Here's
the end of Judai' turn.
The turn moves back to Iwamaru. In his standby
phase, when he draws a card, he claims the previous effect
of Dormant Volcano, which allows both sides to add a fire-type
monster from their decks into their hands. Iwamaru decides
to get Houomaru's card, [Thestalos
the Firestorm Monarch ~ Entei Thestalos - 6/2400/1000: When
this card is Tribute Summoned successfully, randomly discard
1 card from your opponent's hand the the Graveyard. If the
discarded card was a Monster Card, inflict damage to your
opponent's Life Points equal to the Level of the monster
x 100 points]. On the contrary, Judai selects N-Flare
Scarab. Then, Iwamaru plays the magic card [Kaminari
- Magic: Add 1 Thunder Sub-Type Monster from your deck to
your hand. Afterwards, shuffle your deck. During this turn,
you cannot Summon the Monster that you added into your hand]
from his hand. This card allows him to add a thunder-type
monster from his deck onto his hand. As a result, he selects
Ikazuchimaru's card, Zaborg the Thunder Monarch.

Magic Card |
Setting up a face-down card, Iwamaru sacrifices
Granmarg the Rock Monarch to summon Granmarg the Rock Monarch
(This is supposed to be the third one in his deck). People
seem amazed by his weird play. Edo can assume Iwamaru's
purpose to use Granmarg the Rock Monarch's special effect
to destroy the reversed trap card. He's right. The special
effect of Granmarg the Rock Monarch can be activated when
it's tribute summoned successfully. Iwamaru aims to let
Granmarg the Rock Monarch destroy his recently face-down
trap card [Daunjing Point - Trap:
{When this card is destroyed and sent to the Cemetery as
a result of an effect, search your deck for 1 Monster card
from your deck and add it to your hand]. The effect
of this trap card can be activated when it's sent to the
graveyard. It allows Iwamaru to obtain a monster from his
deck onto his hand, so he selects the last Monarch of Kourimaru,
Mobius the Frost Monarch. His preparation has already been
ready. Iwamaru intends to use everything he has to beat
Judai, telling him to prepare to receive it. Judai accepts
his challenge firmly.
Iwamaru plays the magic card [Shadow
Moon - Magic: {Offer 4 Level 5 or higher Monsters from your
hand or your Field of different varieties of Main-Types
for sacrifice in order to activate. Activate 1 Blue Moon
- Bloodstained Moon - from your hand, deck, or Cemetery,
and then afterwards Special Summon 1 Demiourgos EMA from
your deck, hand, or Cemetery.}]. To play its effect.
Iwamaru has to sacrifice the four monarchs. He calls out
"Zaborg the Thunder Monarch that
cuts the heaven!", "Mobius
the Frost Monarch that freezes the Arctic!",
"Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch
that burns and boils magma!", and "Granmarg
the Rock Monarch that is unshakable!". This
card also allows him to special summon [Demiurge
Ema - 8/3300/2000: Increase this card's attack strength
by 800 points for each Homunculus Token on the Field. When
this card is destroyed, destroy all Homunculus Tokens on
the Field] onto the field and to activate the field
magic [Blue Moon Bloodstained Moon
~ Blue Moon Chinure No Tsuki - Field Magic: {Treat 1 Magic
or Trap card on both player's Field as a Homunculus Token
(Angel Sub-Type, Light Main-Type, Level???, Attack: ????,
Defense: 800,)you may Special Summon it in defense mode
in both player's Monster Card Zone. If the Homunculus Token
Special Summoned via this effect, it is treated as a Magic
or Trap card. (However, the player loses the effect of that
Magic or Trap card.)}].

Ema
Monster Card |
According to the effect of Blue Moon - Bloodstained
Moon, Homunculus Token can be special summoned onto the
field of both sides for each trap or magic card on their
fields. Iwamaru has the permanent magic card, Guiding Steep,
on his field, so Homunculus Token is summoned onto his side.
On the same token, Judai has Elemental Sword equipped with
E-Hero Tempester, so Homunculus Token is also summoned onto
his side. In addition to the effect of Blue Moon - Bloodstained
Moon, Guiding Steep's and Elemental Sword's effects become
invalid when Homunculus Tokens are summoned. Without Elemental
Sword, the attack points of E-Hero Tempester returns to
its original 2800 points. Iwamaru claims the special effect
of Demiurge Ema that its attack points can increase 800
points for each Homunculus Token on the field. There are
two Homunculus Tokens, so its total attack points become
4900 (3300+800*2). Iwamaru declares the attack of Demiurge
Ema against E-Hero Tempester at once.
At this moment, Judai activates the special
effect of E-Hero Tempester. Sending the monster on his field,
Homunculus Token, into the cemetry, E-Hero Tempester is
protected from being destroyed. Also, when Judai's Homunculus
Token is gone, the attack points of Demiurge Ema decrease
to 4100 (3300+800 or 4900-800). Iwamaru claims that Judai
still has to receive the damages from the differences although
E-Hero Tempester isn't destroyed. Demiurge Ema keeps on
attacking E-Hero Tempester, and Judai's LP significantly
reduces to 100 (1400+2800-4100).
Iwamaru thinks that the result of the game
should be determined by now. Judai feels disappointed since
he really intends to have a fun duel with Iwamaru. By the
power he has got from Mizuchi, Iwamaru is certain that he
will win the game. He doesn't want to lose the power, asking
Judai what's wrong with his thought. Judai thinks that the
duel obtaining the power from the others isn't fun. The
main reason should be that Iwamaru is afraid of defeat.
For Judai, he has never been afraid of being defeated. Whenever
he faces against stronger guys, he becomes very excited.
Nevertheless, despite the fact that he is currently facing
against such a great monster like Demiurge Ema, he feels
nothing. That's because this monster isn't the true power
of his opponent but someone else. Sugoroku seems very impressed
by Judai's words. He feels as if Yugi was there. The shadow
of Yugi appears behind Judai's back.
"Is
the duel with the power obtaining from the others
actually fun? Isn't it because you are afraid of being
defeated? I have never been afraid of any defeat.
I become very excited when I see stronger people.
However, despite this current pinch, I don't feel
excited at all. That's because your power isn't your
true thing."
|
The final turn is with Judai. He draws a card and plays
De-Fusion to defuse E-Hero Tempester into E-Hero Bubbleman,
E-Hero Featherman, and E-Hero Sparkman. Then, he sacrifices
E-Hero Bubbleman and E-Hero Featherman to summon [E-Hero
Neos - 7/2500/2000] onto the field. After that, he
plays [Soul Share Common Soul ~ Tamashii
No Kyouyuu Common Soul - Permanent Magic: If there is 1
other Monster on the Field, Special Summon 1 Monster with
Neo Spacian in your hand to the controller of that other
Monster. The attack strength of that other Monster is increased
if the attack strength of the Monster with Neo Spacian in
its name is increased. When this card is removed from the
Field, return the Neo Spacian named Monster to your hand].
This allows him to special summon a Neos monster from his
hand onto the field. Thus, he summons [N-Flare
Scarab - 3/500: Increase this Monster's attack strength
by 400 for each Magic or Trap card on your opponent's Field]
onto the field in an attack position.
Due to the special effect of N-Flare Scarab, its attack
points can go up by 400 for each magic or trap card on the
opponent's field. People analyze that Iwamaru has Guiding
Steep and Blue Moon on his field, so 800 attack points (400*2)
can be added up to N-Flare Scarab. It results in 1300 attack
points (500+800). Anyway, Edo realizes that they still aren't
still enough to beat Demiurge Ema (3300). Sugoroku feels
very convinced that Judai must be able to do something else.
He's right. According to another effect of Common Soul,
the attack points of E-Hero Neos can also go up by the strength
points of N-Flare Scarab. They finally become 3800 (2500+1300).
Judai then plays a new magic card [Gift
of Martyr ~ Uketsukareru Chikara - Magic: Send 1 monster
on your side of the field to the Graveyard. Select 1 monster
on your side of the field. Increase the ATK of the selected
monster by an amount equal to the ATK of the sent monster
until the End Phase of the turn this card is activated]
from his hand. By its effect, he can send E-Hero Sparkman
into the cemetery and increase the attack points E-Hero
Neos by the attack points of E-Hero Sparkman. As a result,
E-Hero Neos ends up with the total attack points of 5400
(3800+1600).
Judai declares the attack of E-Hero Neos against Demiurge
Ema. When Demiurge Ema is destroyed, Iwamaru's LP reduces
to 900 (2200+4100-5400). Also, Homunculus Token must be
gone. Lastly, Judai lets N-Flare Scarab attack Iwamaru directly.
Therefore, Iwamaru's LP becomes 0 (900-1300), and he is
finally defeated. The game ends at the morning of the next
day.
Iwamaru looks upset by his defeat while falling on his
knees. Judai walks in and tries to comfort him. In any duel,
he always believes that he can beat any strong people as
long as he tries his best. Iwamaru has just realized what
Judai means that he should trust on his true power. Judai
teaches him that it means nothing if Iwamaru keeps on thinking
that he is so weak that he has to depend on other people's
power. Although he can stand up, he is still weak anyway.
Iwamaru feels much better, and thinks that Judai is really
such an interesting guy. Both of them look at one another,
laugh, and have finally become good friends. Sugoroku feels
impressed, seeing that Judai always shines anywhere. Judai
then gets up and claims his victory with his usual mark.
He hopes to have such a really enjoyable duel with Iwamaru
next time. Iwamaru doesn't say anything but smiles. Suddenly,
the mirror of Mizuchi appears behind Iwamaru, begins to
glow, and absorbs Iwamaru inside. After that, there are
a lot of mirror appearing in the sky and showing Mizuchi's
images. While Judai wonders whether this lady is Mizuchi,
some mirror shows the images of Sho and Kenzan sleeping
in virtual machines. Mizuchi just says that she is waiting
for him and Edo Phoenix at Kaibaland. Edo doesn't understand
why he has to get involved. Mizuchi says that it's the guidance
of Edo's destiny. Edo has just realized what Saiou told
him before that he had to wait until his turn of destiny
came. This turn may be what Saiou mentioned. Then, all of
the mirror scatter, and Mizuchi disappears. Judai gets very
mad and thinks as saying he won't forgive her at all.
