At the white (ex-Blue dorm) dorm, Manjyome (White) Thunder
is asking Napolean for the explanation why this (white)
dorm can't be accepted. Napolean replies that the dorm has
orignally been Blue dorm, so it's impossible to accept it
as the offical school dorm. This is the opinion of Temp
Principal Chronos. Manjyome gets mad that Temp Principal
Chronos becomes his obstacle. Anyway, Napolean tells him
that he has some idea to have the white dorm approved on
one condition. Manjyome wonders what kind of the condition
it is. Napolean would like him to beat Judai, an eyesore
of Red dorm. Manjyome smirks and says "Humm...although
you didn't say that, I has planned to crush him from the
beginning. Yuki Judai!". Meanwhile, Judai begins
to sneeze (In many Asian cultures, if you sneeze, that means
someone is talking about you). Also, Saiou is openning and
looking through his tarot card, [The
Fool] which represents Judai. He wonders whether
Judai's infinite possibility will be good or bad for him.
Thus, he would like to assure by keeping on testing him.
On the other side at Lady Blue dorm, Asuka is also agreeing
something with somebody. Then, she sits down and opens a
profile of a duelist, [Gin Ryusei]
the world shooting game world champ.
At Gin's room, he is playing an arcade shooting game, showing
his skill, and destroying a big boss machine. He turns back
to Manjyome and Asuka, asking how he had done. Manjyome
praises him as a great world champ. Gin returns to continue
playing and says that it's good enough if he just defeats
Yuki Judai. According to Saiou-Sama, this (white) dorm must
be approved in order to let this school approve the existence
of Association of Light. Gin is still playing, telling them
to count on him. Manjyome hopes so before leaving with Asuka.
As playing, Gin thinks that he will also get the next one.
The battleship that he is shooting then turns into Judai's
face. The continuous shooting finally blows up the battleship,
and Judai's face explodes. Gin hopes Judai will be prepared
for this.
Again,
Judai begins to sneeze. He wonders whether someone is talking
about him. Around him are Sho, Kenzan, and Misawa. They
stay together, looking their cards in the school hallyway.
Kenzan tells Judai that he is always a gossip of everybody.
Sho adds that he may be the gossip among ladies. He starts
making his face sweet like a girl and says that the girl
may like him. However, she may do her best merely by watching
him behind. Then, she decides to confess her true feeling
with him that from the the beginning she...Sho hasn't finished
his words while his eyes still look sweet. Misawa seems
excited, asking what will happen next. Sho and Judai look
slightly amazed by his curious response. Kenzan wonders
whether his sempai (seniors) really like this kind of topic.
Then, Asuka and the white group appear behind, standing
around them. Asuka tells Judai that she would like him to
come with her. Misawa wonders whether this is Sho previously
talked about the girl. Sho tells him that the situation
is different. It seems that Misawa still looks innocent
about any lady topic. Asuka leads Sho, Kenzan, Misawa, and
Judai through a hallway of a room. Once they are walking
pass, there is a card image appearing on the wall. There
appear Lightning Turtle (Yami
Yugi's card in Orichalcos Saga), Time Jump (Little
Yugi's card in Ceremonial Battle), and Magic
Transfer (Atem's
card in Ceremonial Battle). Asuka explains that
here is the historical material room for the legendary card
and duel disk exhibit. It isn't a familiar place for Osiris
Red. Judai asks her directly whether she has completely
turned white. Asuka tells him that it's just a new reborn.
Judai doesn't understand at all what Asuka and Manjyome
are planning to do. He can notice that both of them have
been activing weirdly.
Passing
through the historical room, they have reached a big duel
area with the arch dome. On the other side, Gin has already
waited for Judai's coming. Once he snaps his fingers, the
light turns off, and the dome turns into space theme. Misawa
has realized that here is actually a planetarium. Kenzan
thinks it's a universe while Sho thinks that it's very romantic.
Gin says that it's the place he's grown up, challenging
Judai for the conclusion. Judai looks amazed by his big
boast and asks who Gin is. Sho and Misawa introduce him,
Gin Ryusei - The World Shooting Game Champ. Manjyome then
interrupts them. When Judai calls his name "Manjyome?",
Manjyome has to finish his proper name by saying "White
Thunder". He says that Manjyome should approach
into this duel. It may not be a fun game for him since it's
attached with the existence of Red dorm. If Judai is beaten
by Gin Ryusei, Red dorm will be turned down. However, if
he runs away, the dorm is also turned down. Manjyome tells
Judai to choose from his choices. That certainly doesn't
sound as Judai has any choice at all. Kenzan asks why Manjyome
has to approach into this red dorm issue. Manjyome doesn't
give any answer but says that there are many things happening.
Gin asks Judai for his response. Judai tells him not to
be rush, and he is surely going into accept this duel. He
then steps onto the duel stage. When both sides are ready,
their duel begins.
First turn comes to Gin. Drawing a card, he summons [Assault
Core - 3/1300: If this card is face-up on the Field, this
card's name is treated as B.E.S. is in it] onto the
field in an attack position. He explains that this card
is treated as [B.E.S. - Giant Battleship
~ Kyodai Senkan] type. Setting three face-down cards,
he ends his turn.
The turn comes to Judai. He draws a card and summons [E-Hero
Burst Lady - 3/1200/800] onto the field in an attack
position. He then plays the field magic [Skycraper
- Field Magic: Increase the attack strength of all Monsters
on the Field with E-HERO in their name by 1000 points when
Battling a Monster with higher attack strength].
Due to its effect, when E-Hero Burst Lady is going to attack
the monster with higher attack poitns, Assult Core, its
attack points can go up to 2200 (1200+1000). Judai lets
it attack and destroy Assult Core. Thus, Gin's LP reduces
to 3100 (4000+1300-2200). Gin thinks that Judai has already
been in his trap. The alarm is alert, and it's the sound
of his reversed trap card [Alert -
Trap: Activate 1 face-down Permanent Magic card face-down
on your Field]. This card allows him to activate
another face-down permanent magic card [Boss
Rush - Permanent Magic: The controller of this card can't
Normal Summon or Set. During the end phase of the turn that
a Monster on your side of the Field that includes B.E.S.
in its card name or is named Big Core is destroyed and sent
to the Graveyard, you can Special summon from your deck
a monster that includes B.E.S. in its card name or is named
Big Core]. This card allows him to special summon
a B.E.S monster from his deck onto the field at the end
phase after a B.E.S is destroyed. Sho thinks that it sounds
as if Gin sacrifices one B.E.S monster on the field to summon
another greater B.E.S. monster.
Gin claims that this is his shooting game technique. Judai
thinks that it looks interesting while setting up a face-down
card. He then plays a magic card [Climax
Hour - Magic: If you draw a Monster card during the third
Draw Phase after this card was activated, you can ignore
that Monsters Summoning requirements and Special Summon
it to the Field] from his hand. Judai explains its
effec that if he can draw a monster card in the next three
draw phases, he can special summon it onto the field without
any tribute condition. Gin feels confused by counting the
waiting time for this card to be played. Judai tells him
that it should be fun to wait what will happen. Gin thinks
that talking like Judai shouldn't bring him the victory.
Also, he intends not to let Judai have the chance for those
three turns.
|
B.E.S. Tetran
Monster Card |
At this moment, Gin opens his last reversed card [Cyber
Summon Blaster - Continuous Trap: When a Machine Sub-Type
Monster is Special Summoned to the Field, do 300 damage
to your opponent's Life Points]. Kenzan realizes
it at once that it's the same card Sho used to play with
him (episode
64). Sho explains that it's the permanent magic
that can deal 300 damages to the opponent once a machine
monster is special summoned. Here is still the ending phase
of Judai. Gin activates the effect of Boss Rush: when B.E.S.
monster, Assult Core, was destroyed in his battle phase,
he can special summon [B.E.S. Tetran
~ Kyodai Senkan Tetran - 6/1800/2300: Put 3 counters on
this card when you Normal Summon it. This card is not destroyed
as a result of battle. If this card battles a monster, remove
1 counter from this card at the end of the Damage Step.
If this card battles without a counter, destroy this card
at the end of the Damage Step. Also, by removing 1 counter
on this card, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.
You can only use this effect once per turn] from
his deck onto the field. Since it's special summoned and
satisfies Cyber Summon Blaster's condition, Judai has to
receive 300 damages. His LP decreases to 3700 (4000-300).
Judai claims that B.E.S. Tetran's attack points (1800) still
can't oppose E-Hero Burst Lady's (2200) powered up by Skycraper.
Then, he ends his turn here.
|
Shield Recovery
Magic Card |
Judai thinks that he has had some experience about shooting
game. The weakness of any big boss is mostly the same. He
looks up at the blue core of B.E.S Tetran. Gin is smart
enough to guess that Judai is aiming to that core, and he
won't let him do that easily. Turn moves to Gin. Drawing
a card, he plays [Shield Recovery
- Magic: Place 3 counters on a Monster with B.E.S. face-up
on your Field] that puts three counters on B.E.S.
TeTran. Then, he activates the special of B.E.S. TeTran.
Removing a counter on it, he can destroy a magic or trap
card on the field. Therefore, Gin certainly selects to destroy
Skycraper. Without the field magic, E-Hero Burst Lady's
attack points go down to its original 1200 points. Gin declares
the attack of B.E.S Tetran against E-Hero Burst Lady. Meanwhile,
Judai lets E-Hero Burst Lady destroy one counter at the
core of B.E.S. TeTran before it's wiped out (Actually, this
counter is gone due to B.E.S Tetran's own effect not due
to the stike of E-Hero Bust Lady. This is just anime action
to present the shooting game play). When E-Hero Burst Lady
is destroyed, Judai's LP decreases to 3100 (3700+1200-1800).
Note: The Counter here is played as a
shield for B.E.S Tetran, protecting the main core. This
is like a shooting game that a big boss mostly has many
shields to protect itself. |

The turn is with Gin. After E-Hero Burst Lady is destroyed
in battle, Judai opens his reversed card [Hero
Signal - Trap: You can only activate this card if a Monster
of yours is destroyed as a result of Battle and sent to
the Cemetery. Special Summon 1 Monster with Hero in its
name from your deck]. It allows him to special summon
[E-Hero Bubbleman - 4/800/1200: If
this card is the only card in your hand, you can Special
Summon it in attack mode. When this card is successfully
Normal Summoned, Special Summoned, or Reverse Summoned when
it is the only card on your Field, draw 2 cards from your
deck] from his deck onto the field in an attack mode.
When E-Hero Bubbleman is summoned while he has no other
card on the field, he can draw additional two cards. Gin
claims that any small fish can't beat his B.E.S. Tetran
at all. Here is the end of Gin's turn.
Turn comes to Judai. He draws a card and summons [E-Hero
Sparkman - 4/1600/1400] onto the field in an attack
position. He then equips it with [Elemental
Sword - Equipment Magic: When the Equipped Monster is in
battle with a Monster of a different Main-Type, increase
the Equipped Monster's attack strength by 800]. By
its effect, the attack points of E-Hero Sparkman go up to
2400 (1600+800). Judai declares its attack against the last
sheild (Last Counter). Although B.E.S. Tetran isn't destroyed
in battle, Gin still has to take the damages. Thus, his
LP decreases to 2500 (3100+1800-2400).
Note: Repeatedly, it's actually the normal
attack of E-Hero Sparkman against B.E.S Tetran. Due to special
effect of B.E.S Tetran, it isn't destroyed in battle, and
its counter must be removed after it's attacked. Anime just
presents the counter as a sheild of the main core so that
it looks like a shooting game. Judai is also acting as if
he is playing the shooting game to destroy the shield of
the big boss.

B.E.S. Crystal
Core
Monster Card |
Judai feels sorry to E-Hero Bubbleman before letting it
attack the blue core of B.E.S. Tetran without any shield.
Because E-Hero Bubbleman has fewer attack points, it's destroyed.
Judai's LP decreases to 2100 (3100+800-1800). Nevertheless,
following the effect of B.E.S Tetran, when it's attacked
without any shield (counter), it also must be destroyed.
Gin asks whether Judai has already forgotten the effect
of Boss Rush. Kenzan and Sho agree with Gin, and they don't
understand what Judai did. By the effect of Boss Rush, another
B.E.S monster can be special summoned in the end phase although
a B.E.S. monster is destroyed in battle. As a result, Gin
special summons [B.E.S. Crystal Core
~ Kyodai Senkan Crystal Core - 5/2100/1000: Put 3 counters
on this card when you Normal Summon it. this card is not
destroyed as a result of battle. If this card battles a
monster, remove 1 counter from this card at the end of the
Damage Step. If this card battle without a counter, destroy
this card at the end of the Damage Step. Once per turn,
during your Main Phase, you can change 1 face-up Attack
Position monster on your opponent's side of the field to
face-up Defense Position] onto the field in an attack
position. Furthermore, when B.E.S. Crystal Core, a machine
monster, is special summoned, Judai has to take the direct
300 damages as a result of Cyber Summon Blaster's effect.
His LP reduces to 1800 (2100-300). Judai claims that although
new B.E.S. is summoned, it doesn't contain any shield (counter).
Thus, he thinks that it should be easy to destroy (It seems
that he really thinks he is playing a shooting game not
exactly duel monster card game).
|
B.E.S. Big
Core
Monster Card |
Turn comes to Gin. He draws a card and says that he will
wipe out the eyesore fish on Judai's field. People get confused
by Gin's word because B.E.S Crystal Core apparently has
fewer attack points than E-Hero Sparkman. Gin explains that
B.E.S Crystal Core has the special effect to change E-Hero
Sparkman into a defense position in his main phase. Thus,
B.E.S Crystal Core with 2100 attack points can destroy E-Hero
Sparkman with 1400 defense points. Due to another special
effect of B.E.S Crystal Core, it has to be destroyed at
the end phase because it attacked without any counter. Again,
when B.E.S Crystal Core is sent to the graveyard, the effect
of Boss Rush is reactivated. Gin can special summon [B.E.S.
Big Core ~ Kyodai Senkan Big Core - 6/2300/1100: When you
summon this card, set the counter at 3. This card cannot
be destroyed as a result of battle. When battle occurs,
after the damage step, remove 1 counter. When there is no
counters and battle occurs, this card is destroyed after
the damage step] onto the field in an attack position.
Moreover, when machine-type B.E.S. Big Core is special summoned,
Judai has to take the direct 300 damages due to the effect
Cyber Summon Blaster's effect. His LP decreases to 1500
(1800-300).
Judai's mood seems to change. He turns to ask Gin seriously
for how long he intends to play like this. Asuka and Manjyome
look amazed by what Judai is gonna say. Gin says that it
isn't fun to let his monsters destroy Judai's trash, so
he keeps on attacking him directly by Cyber Summon Blaster.
Judai feels uncomfortable to say because of his respect;
howerver, Gin tells him to say openly. Judai thinks that
Gin actually doesn't understand what a fun duel is. He tries
to explain by saying that a duel is such a profound thing.
Manjyome and Asuka certainly look very amazed by his words.
Sho doesn't think that it makes sense, but Kenzan thinks
that Judai looks so smart. Judai says that he will show
what the real exciting duel will be.
|
N-Groun Mode
Monster Card |
It's now Judai's turn. He draws a card and gets a new monster.
He summons it, [N-Groun Mole - 3/900/300:
Return this card and your opponent's Monster to their respective
owner's hands after this card has conducted battle],
onto the field in an attack position. Gin asks what Judai
intends to do by summoning such a trash. Judai gets mad
when Gin calls his monster the trash, so he declares its
attack against B.E.S. Big Core immediately. Kenzan, Sho,
and Misawa are certainly surprised. The attack points between
both of them are obviously different. Sho tries to stop
Judai, but it's too late. N-Groun Mole moves directly to
the core of B.E.S Big Core for the strike. By such a huge
difference, Judai's LP decreases to 100 (1500+900-2300).
Misawa notes that B.E.S. Big Core doesn't have any shield
(counter), so the main core is destroyed. Blue core at B.E.S.
Big Core then disappears. Gin doesn't look worried at all.
Although his B.E.S. monster is destroy, he can still special
summon another B.E.S. monster following the effect of Boss
Rush. Judai has only 100 left, so the result of the game
should be already determined.
Judai looks very calm as activating the special effect
of N-Groun Mole. After it attacked, N-Groun Mole and the
opponent's monster, B.E.S. Big Core, must return to the
owners' hands. People look very glad by Judai's smart play.
Since B.E.S. Big Core didn't go to the graveyard, the effect
of Boss Rush can't be activated. Setting a reversed card,
Judai ends his turn.
Turn moves to Gin. He draws a card and looks at all cards
on his hand, which are Riryuki Field (T), Moai Interceptor
Cannons (M), Pot of Avarice (S), B.E.S. Big Core (M), and
Stage Select (S). Gin takes out Moai Interceptor Cannons,
but he can't play it. Misawa realizes that Gin can't normal
summon any monster according to the effect of Boss Rush.
At this moment, Judai opens his reversed trap card [Hero
Call - Trap: Choose 1 card from your deck and place it on
the top of the deck]. Due to its effect, he can take
a monster from his deck, E-Hero Neos, and places it onto
the top of his deck.
Gin plans not to let Judai play it. He then plays the magic
card [Stage Select - Magic: Shuffle
your opponent's deck. Afterwards, select 1 card from your
deck and place it on the top of the deck] from his
hand. This card allows him to shuffle Judai's deck. Thus,
Gin runs into Judai's position, takes out his deck, and
shuffles it. At this point, E-Hero Neos is no longer on
the top of Judai's deck. Gin says while shuffling "I'm
not about to let you beat me! This duel is supposed to be
the base of my world card game conquest". Judai
wonders whether this duel is supposed to be bet by Osiris
Red dorm. Gin further says that he doesn't care of that.
If he can catch Saiou's sight by this duel, he may be able
to have a pro debut. This is such a good chance. Judai,
Manjyome, and Asuka have just realized Gin's actual purpose
of entering Association of Light. Manjyome wonders whether
Gin intends to curry favor with Saiou.
When Gin turns back to his position, he declares another
effect of Stage Select. It allows him to select a card in
his deck and place it onto the top of his deck. Then, Gin
ends his turn here. The card that he selected and placed
is Mystical Space Typhoon. He plans to use it destroy Boss
Rush in the next turn so that he can normal summon a monster.
Gin believes that Judai has already lost his chance to get
E-Hero Neos after his shuffle, so the victory should belong
to him. Judai doesn't think that he has lost his chance
completely, claiming that people can't expect what is gonna
happen next in a duel. That explains why the duel is exciting.
Also, Gin has played his trump card from the beginning.
It should be so cool if the trump card appears at the end.
Gin thinks that the shooting game and the duel are the same.
His power not Judai's trash can determine the victory. Judai
yells to stop him calling his monster a trash. That's why
the shooting game is different from the duel. The guy who
only thinks of depending on Saiou to turn pro can see only
a trash. Gin begins to feel amazed by Judai's words.
The final turn comes to Judai. He draws a card and still
gets E-Hero Neos despite the fact that Gin already shuffled
his deck. Gin looks very surprised, and says that Judai
can't summon it onto the field anyway. Judai smirks and
takes out a magic card from his graveyard. It's Climax Hour
that he played at the early stage of this duel. Nobody can
imagine that its effect can be valid in this third draw
phase of Judai. Thus, Judai again insists that the duel
is fun because nobody knows what is gonna on next. Due to
the effect of Climax Hour, when he can draw a monster in
the third draw phase, E-Hero Neos, he can special summon
it onto the field without any tribute [E-Hero
Neos - 7/2500/2000]. Gin seems very impressed. Judai
smirks again before declaring the direct attack of E-Hero
Neos against Gin. After Gin receives the direct hit, his
LP reduces to 0 exactly (2500-2500).
Gin
falls onto his knees and feels a little bit upselt. He expects
to use his shooting game technique to go to the top. Judai
is willing to become his opponent at anytime he wants. He
thinks that Gin is such an interesting guy. While Judai
is trying to catch Gin's hand and Gin is going to respond,
Gin hears the voice of Saiou inside his mind "You
can't run away. Your future is totally mine!".
Judai looks pretty shocked when he sees that Gin's hair
is turning white, stepping back. People don't know what's
going on with Gin. Then, Gin gets up and starts to act weirdly.
He says that he has seen the light, and this is the new
reborn for Saiou. Judai asks the hell is happening to him.
Manjyome tells him that it isn't a strange thing before
walking away with Asuka, leaving Judai and the others in
confusion.
