In
the space, bright light beam is moving like a shooting star
towards the earth. It finally falls down and impacts on
Duel Academia island. Meanwhile, Judai hears the voice calling
his name, so he gets up after sleeping on grass of the forest.
He looks up and sees the smoke coming from the other side
of the mountain, deciding to following up. Judai sees the
big hole and moves deeper until he reaches the inside volcano.
He notices the small group of light floating up from the
lava while something is also coming out. He looks surprised
when he sees the real appearance of its form.
In front of the school, Manjyome White Thunder is walking
pass many students as his friends look amazed by his white
uniform this time (Manjyome previously put on his black
uniform for a long time). Two students begin to laugh at
him by the fact that he completely turns from the black
to the white. Manjyome hears it and stops walking. He looks
at people unfriendly and asks whether they really have an
interest (problem) in his uniform. People get scared of
him before running away and saying that they would like
to pass. Manjyome keeps on walking without care. He thinks
that this school, anyway, will be totally dyed white soon.
At the principle office, Temp Principle Chronos is working
hard on many documents while Vice Principle Napolean reminds
him that it's now still the good chance for his plan. Judai
is still away while Manjyome currently seems to have weird
behaviors. While Temp Principle Chronos notes thinks he's
done with the paper, Vice Principle Napolean gives him more
work. Anyway, Temp Principle Chronos notes that without
Judai and Manjyome, Red dorm still has Tenjoin Asuka. They
can't find any duelist who can beat her. Vice Principle
Napolean smirks before saying that there is still a person
in this school who could defeat her.
In the light hall, Saiou greets Edo that he has come so
fast. He told him that he previously went to Duel Academia
and Edo seems surprised. There , Saiou found something that
didn't go along with his prediction. Edo is getting more
surprised until Saiou asked what Edo was thinking. Edo replies
that he just feels amazed because this is the first time
when he has seen Saiou talking about his own prediction
like this. It doesn't mean that his destiny prediction is
wrong. However, Saiou explains that it's because there is
someone who can overcome his prediction. Edo becomes more
curious and asks him who exactly can get over the destiny.
Saiou doesn't give any answer but says that if Edo feels
interested, he had better return to Duel Academia again.
Edo doesn't seem interested in returning since he has no
business to deal with that school at all.
He
walks out while reminding himself of his childhood period.
On a raining day, little Edo was standing in front of his
father's grave. Then, young Saiou handed over an umbrella
and explained that his sorrow was the destiny. Edo looked
amazed and asked who Saiou was. Saiou replied that "I
am Saiou Takuma. There is an extraordinary talent sleeping
in you. I will help leading your destiny". Saiou
said while smirking at the end. Turn back to the present.
Edo personally has the strong belief in Saiou's prediction.
Thus, he hardly believes that someone can get over it, wondering
who that guy will be. At this moment, his mobile phone rings,
and he receives it. It actually comes from Vice Principle
Napolean. He has something important to talk to Edo. After
the conversation, Edo becomes very interested and asks whether
that Vice Principle Napolean said is true.
At
Duel Academia at night, there is a sign placed in front of
Osirid Red dorm. It's the final challenge for the tomorrow
duel. Manjyome says that this school and even the world
will turn white soon. Thus, he doesn't care what will happen
to the dorm before laughing and leaving. Asuka and Kenzan
realize that Manjyome won't give his hand into this game
at all. Asuka has no choice but offers herself for this
job. Besides her, there is nobody else to protect this dorm.
Kenzan much appreciates her help and starts to cry. He is
wondering what Judai is currently doing during this crisis.
Meanwhile, Judai is running back as a shooting star is falling
pass behind. Seeing the shooting star, Kenzan holds his
hand up and asks for his wish. He says that he would like
Asuka-Sampai to win tomorrow. Anyway, nobody realizes that
the falling star is actually the coming of Edo Phoenix.
Edo is using his skydiving board and landing on Duel Academia
island.
In the next foggy morning, Kenzan and Asuka are ready in
the front of the school. Misawa and Sho have finally come
after they know the final notice. Then Vice Principle Chronos
and Temp Principle Napolean appear. Asuka asks who will
be her opponent. Before Temp Principle Napolean answers,
Edo's voice comes behind that her opponent is him. All People
even Vice Principle Chronos look very shocked. Vice Principle
Chronos whispers Temp Principle Napolean to ask what kind
of condition he is using to bind Edo into the duel. Vice
Principle Chronos says that he has heard that Edo is searching
for the enemy of his parent, and he knows something. If
Edo can win this game, he will help him. Vice Principle
Chronos asks whether Temp Principle Napolean really knows
that person. Temp Principle Napolean replies that the person
certainly doesn't exist and quickly closes Vice Principle
Chronos' mouth before he screams. He says that he doesn't
care which method he will use. Then, he tells everyone to
get in and start the duel.
While
Edo is walking in, he sees Manjyome. Manjyome greets him
and asks whether Edo has come here because of the order
of Saiou or Association of Light to beat Judai. Edo has
no idea what Manjyome is talking about. He claims that he
has already defeated Judai, so there is no reason to fight
him again. Manjyome clarifies that Edo actually obtained
the power of Saiou to defeat Judai in the previous duel.
However, Judai didn't become a member of Association of
Light after that. This shows that Saiou's power doesn't
affect Judai or someone has to beat him again. Edo becomes
more amazed and asks for further explanation about Saiou's
power in his deck. Manjyome wonders whether Edo really doesn't
know anything. Anyway, he doesn't care and says that the
school will belong to Saiou-Sama sooner or later. Judai
will definitely returns. If Edo won't fight him, Manjyome
will do. Manjyome then leaves while laughing out loud. Edo
still looks amazed by the conversation. He wonders whether
the person whom Saiou said previously that he could get
over the destiny is actually Judai.
Manjyome |
Is
it the order of Saiou-Sama? |
Edo |
The
order of Saiou? |
Manjyome |
Yes,
the order of Association of Light. |
Edo |
Association
of Light? What's that? |
Manjyome |
You
don't know? I certainly thought that you'd come to get
rid of Judai by the order of Saiou. |
Edo |
Judai?
Why do I have to fight against that guy? I have already
defeated him. There is no reason to fight him again.
|
Manjyome |
At
that time when you fought against Judai, your deck was
holding the power of Saiou. However, when Judai was
defeated by you, he didn't become a member of Association
of Light. That means Saiou's power doesn't affect Judai.
|
Edo |
The
power of Saiou in my deck? What do you mean by that? |
Manjyome |
You
really don't know anything, do you? Sooner or later,
this school will belong to Saiou-Sama. Eventually, Judai
will reappear, but if you won't fight, I will. Ha ha
ha!!! |
Edo |
Hey! Reply my question! (What's that
guy? But for what Saiou said, is the person who can
get over the destiny actually Judai?) |
In the duel stage, Edo and Asuka are preparing their duel
discs and ready for the game. Asuka can see the threatening
aura coming from Edo and his image then becomes bigger.
She wonders whether this is the true spirit of a pro duelist.
This is the duel attached with the existence of Osiris Red
dorm. Asuka declares that she has been ready, and Edo would
like to get this finished quickly. While both of them are
going to start the duel, they are interrupted by Judai's
yelling. Judai tells them to stop the duel as running inside.
People are certainly amazed and become happy when they see
him returning. |

Judai is taking the breath, having tired after running
all the way to the duel arena. He tells people to hold on
the duel, excuses Edo for the short break, and then runs
into his friends. Sho is very glad and asks where Judai
has been for a long time. Judai says that after he rode
the boat into the sea, he came across a new Hero deck. Edo
seems very surprised. Judai further said about the explosion
of the big light and that the new Hero lives appeared in
the universe. Misawa absolutely doesn't get what Judai's
talking about. Hearing about the new lives in his deck,
Sho and Kenzan assume that Judai has been able to see the
cards by now. Judai turns back and tells them about the
voice of the spirits he heard during the returning.
Previously
at the volcano crater, after the wave of lava blew up, there
appeared the form of a monster. Judai asked whether it was
the one calling him. The monster introduced itself as a
[Fire Neo Spacian Flare Scarab].
Judai realized that it's the same race as Neo Spacian Aqua
Dolphin. This confirmed himself that the previous story
about Aqua Dolphin wasn't merely the dream. Flare Scarab
said all Neos residents would lend him their power and told
him to meet other Neos friends quickly. Then, it flew as
a red light into Judai's deck , and another remaining red
light ball started to lead him to the entrance. Judai followed
it until he reached the forest, hearing the voice calling
his name. The wind suddenly blew up, and there appeared
another birdy monster. Judai could guess that it's the Wind
Neo Spacian. The monster introduced itself as [Air
Hummingbird]. It asked Judai to protect Neo Space
from the theatening of the Light (Association of Light)
before moving into Judai's deck. Judai picked up a card,
but it was blank. He still wasn't able to see it. Once he
closed his eyes and thought of his [Parter~Aibou],
he heard the voice of Winged Kuriboh. Judai started moving
into the forest quickly, following the voice. He finally
found the bright rainbow light forming into Winged Kuriboh.
Both of them were happy to see each other again. Judai had
looked for it for a long time. Winged Kuriboh smiled before
returning into Judai's deck. At this moment, Judai could
see the spirits of monsters on his cards normally.
Turn
back to the duel area. Judai explains that his new deck
has already been complete by now. Edo doesn't seem to believe
in his new Hero deck. He insists what he said in the previous
duel that there is no Hero other than D-Hero existing in
this world. Judai argues that his new Hero deck actually
comes from the universe not the earth. Misawa clarifies
that Judai may be talking about [Alien
~ Uchuujin] or that his new Neos monsters are aliens.
Judai tells him to talk about the details later before turning
to Asuka and asking for the change. He jumps onto the battle
stage and says that he wants to fight Edo again. Vice Principle
Napolean seems to disagree for the change. Misawa explains
seriously that this duel is attached by the condition of
Osiris Red existence. Thus, there should be no problem with
Judai's replacement. Temp Principle Chronos accepts his
claim while Temp Principle Napolean is seemingly forced
to agree. Judai is glad by all acceptance and tells Edo
to have fun together with this game. Edo doesn't care since
it's gonna be the same anyway. Asuka then gives Judai her
duel disc before Temp Principle Chronos declares the beginning
of the duel.
First turn comes to Edo. Drawing a card, he summons D-Hero
Diamond Guy in an attack position and plays its special
ability quickly [D-Hero Diamond Guy
- 4/1400/1600: Reveal the top card of your deck, if that
card is a Magic card, place that card in the Cemetery and
during your next turn, that card's effect is activated].
He has to reveal the top card on his deck. If it's a magic
card, he can replace it into the graveyard and activate
it in the next turn. He then draws a card and gets Graceful
Charity. Sending it into the cemetery, Edo ends his turn.
It's now Judai's turn. He draws and summons his new friend
quickly. He summons N-Aqua Dolphin in an attack position
[Neo Spacian Aqua Dolphin - 3/600/800:
Discard 1 card from your hand. After checking the contents
of your opponent's hand, select 1 Monster card in it. Choose
1 Monster card on your own Field, if its attack strength
is higher than the selected Monster card, destroy it, and
do 500 damage to your opponent, if it's not, do 500 damage
to this card's controller]. People seem very amazed.
Misawa is wondering whether it's actually an alien. Judai
then plays the magic card [Fake Hero
- Magic: Special Summon 1 Monster in your hand. If that
Monster attacks, return it to your hand at the End Phase
of this turn]. This card allows him to summon specially
a monster from his hand. However, that monster must return
to his hand at the end of the turn. The special summoned
monster is [E-Hero Edgeman - 7/2600/2800:
If this Monster attacks a Monster in defense mode with lower
defense strength than this Monsters attack strength, do
Battle Damage to your opponent equal to the difference].
At this moment, Judai activates the special effect of N-Aqua
Dolphin, Echolocation. Sending a card on his hand, Hero
Kids, into his graveyard, he can let N-Aqua Dolphin select
a card on Edo's hand. If the selected monster has fewer
attack points than another selected monster on his own field,
it will be destroyed and Judai can deal 500 damages to Edo
directly. N-Aqua Dolphin then launces its Echolocation beam
to a card on Edo's hand, and there appears D-Hero Diehard
Guy with 800 attack points, which are fewer than E-Hero
Edgeman's 2600 attack points. Therefore, D-Hero Diehard
Guy is destroyed, and Edo's LP decreases to 3500 (4000-500).
Judai sets up two reversed cards as E-Hero Edgeman returns
to his hand as a result of Fake Hero's effect. Then, he
ends his turn.

Mausoleum
Of The Deceased Emperor
Magic Card |
Turn is back to Edo. In his standby phase, he once activates
the effect of Graceful Charity sent into the graveyard in
the previous turn. Drawing three cards, he discards two
cards, D-Hero Devil Guy and Ring of Magnetism, into the
cemetery. After that, he plays the field magic card [The
Mausoleum of the Deceased Emperor ~ Shikoutei No Ryoubo
- Field Magic: Each player can pay 1000 Life Points during
their own turn in order to Special Summon Imperial Tomb
Haniwa's to your Field equal to the sacrifice cost of a
Monster. Sacrifice those Monsters in order to Normal Summon
that Monster].
Note: See further note about The
Mausoleum of the Decreased Emperor.
This card can be played by both sides after paying 1000
LP. Paying 1000 LP, Edo can special summon two [Imperial
Tomb Haniwa ~ Ryoubo No Haniwa ~ Terracotta Soldier]
tokens equal to the costs of a monster. At this point, his
LP reduces to 2500 (3500-1000). He sacrifices two Imperial
Tomb Haniwa to summon [D-Hero Dread
Guy - 8/?/?: When this Monster is Summoned or Special Summoned,
destroy all non-D-HERO Monsters on your Field in order to
Special Summon 2 D-HERO Monsters from your Cemetery. If
this Monster is in attack mode during the Summoned turn,
a D-HERO would not be affected by an effect or Battle Damage.
This Monster's attack and defense strength is equal to the
combined attack strength of all D-HERO on the Field]
in an attack position. According to its special effect,
when it's successfully summoned, he can special summon two
D-Hero monsters from his cemetery. Thus, D-Hero Diehard
Guy and D-Hero Devil Guy are resummoned onto the field in
an attack mode. The attack strengths of D-Hero Dread Guy
are also equal to the combined attack points of all D-Hero
monsters, so its total attack points become 2800 (600+800+1400
for D-Hero Diehard Guy, Devil Guy, and Diamond Guy). Sho
looks amazed by that Edo could summon three monsters in
merely a turn. Misawa meanwhile becomes worried. If Judai
gets the direct strike from it, his LP will remain very
little.
Edo says this is the match for his D-Hero and Judai's new
Hero before declaring the attack of D-Hero Dread Guy. At
this moment, Judai opens his reversed trap card [Negate
Attack ~ Kougeki No Muryoku Ka - Counter Trap: This card
is played as a magic card by Kaiba and Leon in the original
Duel Monster series. However, it is played as a trap card
in GX series and a real card of Konami]. By its effect,
the attack of D-Hero Dread Guy becomes invalid while Edo
is forced to end his battle phase immediately. Therefore,
Judai is safe in this turn.
|
E-Hero Aqua
Neos
Monster Card |
Turn moves to Judai. He draws a card and declares to use
the effect of Edo's field magic. Paying 1000 LP, he sacrifices
two Imperial Tomb Haniwa tokens to special summon [E-Hero
Neos - 7/2500/2000] onto the field in an attack position.
This LP also decreases to 3000 (4000-1000). Edo is getting
surprised since he has never seen Hero monster like this
before. Judai explains it's certain that Edo hasn't because
E-Hero Neos is showered by the wave of the universe. It
can make the contact with Neo Spacian, and it's also a miracle
E-Hero. He will know show the power of Neos. He declares
the [Contact Fusion ~ Contact Yuugou]
between N-Aqua Spacian and E-Hero Neos to combine them into
[E-Hero Aqua Neos - 7/2500/2000: Return
N-Aqua Spacian and E-Hero Neos on your Field into your deck
in order to Special Summon this Monster without the use
of a Fusion Magic card. Discard 1 card from your hand, destroy
2 cards in your opponent's hand at random. This Monster
is returned back to the Fusion Deck during the End Phase].
This is certainly the special fusion without the requirement
of Polymerization. His friends look very surprised by the
fabulous play of his new Neos deck.
Judai then activates it special effect. Discarding a card
from his hand, E-Hero Edgeman, he can destroy 2 cards on
Edo's hand. Furthermore, he opens the last reversed magic
card [H Heat Heart - Magic: Increase
the ATK of 1 Monster on your side of the Field by 500 points.
If the ATK of the Monster whose ATK is increased by this
card's effect attacks with an ATK that is higher than the
DEF of your opponent's Defense Mode Monster, inflict the
difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points].
By its effect, Aqua Neos' attack points can go up by 500,
and finally become 3000 (2800+500). He declares its attack
against D-Hero Dread Guy immediately. When D-Hero Dread
Guy is destroyed, Edo's LP reduces to 2300 (2500+2800-3000).
People are glad to see that Judai could finally beat the
key monster of Edo. Sho looks very impressed and says that
Aqua Neos is so cool.
Edo hardly believes that D-Hero Dread Guy would be defeated,
yelling that he doesn't want to accept it, any Hero rather
than D-Hero. Anyway, while Judai seems to take the lead
in the game, Aqua Neos begins to glow and turns back into
his deck. All people even Judai become very surprised. Judai
has no idea either while Aqua Neos returned to his deck.
Misawa wonders whether Judai hasn't finished his new deck
yet. Sho thinks that this is bad because Judai's field is
all wiped out now.
Turn
moves to Edo. He draws a card and challenges Judai to show
whether he can get over his defeat destiny. He says that
the result will be the same anyway before declaring the
three consecutive direct attacks of D-Hero Diamond Guy,
Devil Guy, and Diehard Guy. Judai gets the big strikes and
falls down as his LP reduces to 200 (3000-600-800-1400).
Edo smirks and says that the victory has certainly been
decided. Anyway, Judai argues as trying to get up since
he hasn't shown the true strength of his new deck yet.
to be continued...

[Terracotta Army]
The
field magic card of Edo, Mausoleum of the Deceased Emperor,
is seemingly based upon the actually famous tomb in China
called [Mausoleum of the First Qin
Emperor] or [Terracotta Army].
This place was discovered in 1974 in the northern Chinese
city of Xi'an while peasants were digging a well for water.
Instead of finding water, they discovered the major archaeology
of an underground vault with over 8000 life-size terracotta
soldiers. Thus, Xi'an in the province of Shaanxi has become
one of the most famous attractions in China since then.
The
Deceased Emperor in Edo's field magic refers to [Qin
Shi Huang], the first emperor of a unified China
from 221 BC to 210 BC. He was well known as an aggressive
and cruel emperor. After he could unify China, he joined
the segments to form the first Great Wall and found the
elixir of immortality. Unfortunately, Qin Shi Huang died
before he found his elixir. After his death, the dynasty
crumbled and lasted but a few years longer. All those that
had worked on the tomb were said to have been put to death
to protect the safety of his eternal afterlife. His impressive
tomb was sealed and forgotten.
It took over 37 years to construct the over 7,000 soldiers,
horses, chariots, weapons. Each statue is life sized and
no two have been found to be exactly the same. Each face,
each express, even their posture and clothes are all unique
and individual. The soldiers are posed, ready to march into
battle. Some are even frozen in time kneeling or preparing
for their's journey.
