"Once
, this appearance's left behind. Now, here's an dangerusly
broken stair", Manjyome is describing each scene
while recording a video and moving up to Judai's room at
Osiris Red dorm. When the door is open, there are Sho, Judai,
and Kenzan having some argument. Sho asks why the Ra Yellow
guy like Kenzan has to be in this room, telling him to move
out. Kenzan refuses and claims that Judai's charisma is
important for his life now. Judai tries to compromise. Since
they don't know whether Red dorm will be turned down in
one day, he thinks that now they should have more friends.
Anyway, Sho still disagrees because he would like to claim
Judai's little brother title only for himself. In other
words, he doesn't want Kenzan to become his candidate. When
Sho turns back to the door, Manjyome enters the room and
calls them poor and pathetic guys. Sho asks what Manjyome
is doing. Manjyome replies that Manjyome room has already
been finished. It's wide and has a bright spa room with
good design for treatment. He asks whether people would
like to see it. Sho and Kenzen say that they would love
to as they actually feel indifferent. Only Judai becomes
excited by the new room of Manjyome and eagerly wants to
see the spa. Therefore, Manjyome tells them to follow him
to the room. When they turn back, they see Asuka standing
in front of the room with her belonging. Kenzan asks who
she is because he has never seen Asuka before. Then, people
become very surprised when Asuka says "I
already quitted Blue dorm. Could I join with you guys here?".
On the other side, Vice Principle Napolean is talking to
Temp Principle Chronos about the star project. Temp Principle
Chronos tells him not to be worried while showing the picture
of the next target, Marufuji Sho. They plan to let him duel
against a Blue student. In case he can win, he will be promoted
to Ra Yellow and finally may move up to Blue rank. Temp
Principle Chronos plans to utilize the title of Kaiser's
little brother while Vice Principle Napolean is glad by
this chance to reduce Judai's followers and to turn down
Osiris Red.
People
are getting amazed by the new look of Manjyome's room with
two floors, pool, and larger spaces. Kenzan is so surprised
that he wonders whether here is the same Red dorm. Asuka
feels very impressed and asks whether she can really use
this room. Judai is afraid to refuse and says that this
room belongs to Manjyome. However, Manjyome stops him and
replies Asuka shortly that she is very welcomed here. Judai
notes that, in this case, Manjyome has to return and join
his small room. That's what it should be to let Asuka stay
here. Anyway, Sho asks Asuka what happened to Blue dorm
that brought her here. Asuka says that it's such a big issue
as opening her bag and bringing out a red dress. Temp Principle
Chronos wants her to get on this dress to sing and duel.
Sho wonders whether Asuka means that she has to become a
school idol. Asuka explains that it's such a selfish Blue
idol training course. Manjyome imagines Asuka in the red
costome until his face becomes red. She may look very pretty
in that dress. Asuka can catch him and asks what's wrong
with it. By the way, Judai asks why Asuka has to bring the
cloth that she dislikes with her. Asuka expresses her uncomfortable
feeling to answer, and Manjyome notices it. He turns back
to Judai and calls him "A fool!
~ Baka!". Since Asuka is going to sue the head
of Blue dorm, Temp Principle Chronos, she needs the dress
as the proof. Asuka agrees and further says that when Principle
Samechima is away, Temp Principle Chronos and Vice Principle
Napolean are over doing as they like. Judai also agrees
because he can't forgive them for their plan to turn down
Osiris dorm.
After
that, Misawa rushes into the room with urgent news. Judai
greets him as if he hasn't seen him for a while as Kenzan
wonders who Misawa is. Misawa reports that Sho has just
been obligated to duel against a Blue opponent named [Kochou
Ran]. If he wins this game, his rank will be promoted
to Ra Yellow. This lady is well known as Insect Princess
of Blue. Judai thinks that if the oppoent is really strong,
Sho's spirit should burn out. It may be a tough duel that
Sho can show his true power. Nevertheless, Sho is getting
scared and merely saying that he can't make it. He can't
oppose any Blue opponent, and believes that he will be defeated
in front of the large audiences. Sho then cries out loud
before running away from the room. Kenzan doesn't get what
the hell is happening to him and begins to run after him.
Judai just looks back with worry.
In the room, Kenzan asks Sho directly why he is running
away. He thinks that it's such a good chance to show his
cool performance in front of the large audiences. Sho covers
himself inside the sheet. He doesn't think that it's the
good chance to show off but the chance to get embrarassed.
Kenzan can't stand his act until he has to take out the
sheet. Sho is rolled around before falling onto the floor.
Kenzan tries to explain in Dinosaur term that Mushi-San
(Insect-San = Ran) has lived since the ancient time like
an old dinosaur. Therefore, her position is different from
his. It's miserable if Sho is gonna waste this evolution
chance. All living things have to accomplish the evolution
and survive. If they can't do that, they will become extinct
or be ruined. Sho can't say anything, but just looks more
worried. At night, Sho is staying alone at the cliff and
reminding himself of what Kenzan said previously about the
evolution. He takes out Power Bond and thinks of the situation
that happened during the prior year. His brother is moving
to World League while Judai has become the real hero of
the school.
Hayato finally found and pursued his own road, so did Manjyome.
As Kenzan said, everybody evolved, but only Sho hasn't changed
yet. If he is staying like this, nothing will be changed.
Sho begins to imagine when he is running after people dressing
up and saying good bye to him on a cruise. Judai says that
everybody is moving to World League now. Sho feels very
depressed if his friends leave him like that. Thus, Sho
keeps himself up, thinking that he should succeed something
for his future.
Next day, people are ready at Duel Arena, waiting for the
promotion duel of Sho. Manjyome is also walking there. Then,
Sho interrupts and asks him give a letter to Judai. Manjyome
isn't pleased with the way Sho acted, so Sho bows himself
and says PLEASE properly. Manjyome receives his letter while
Sho is leaving. When he opens and looks what's in the letter,
there appears a card that makes him very surprised.
Inside the duel arena, people are getting excited by the
duel of Kaiser's little brother and Insect Princess Ran.
Vice Principle Napolean's just realized that there are many
people paying attention to this game. Temp Principle Chronos
says that this is certainly what it should be. Kaiser's
little brother title is enough to attract people. Manjyome
finally comes to his seat and joins his friends. He looks
very worried while holding Sho's letter in his hand. Judai
says that he's almost late. On the stage, Ran starts to
greet Sho. She thinks that he is such a plain boy that she
hardly believes that he is Kaiser's little brother. Ran
says as showing Kaiser's picture in her pendant. Judai feels
annoyed by her sudden greetings, and Kenzan doesn't feel
good at all. Asuka explains that Ran is such an active fan
of Ryo. Then, Ran says that if she wins this game, Temp
Principle Chronos will promote her to World League. Sho
realizes that it's the place where his brother is now. In
order to go and see Kaiser, Ran tells Sho that she will
do her best in this game while calling Sho [Boy].
Sho is getting mad by this word that makes him look like
a little kid and won't let her do so. Standing by their
duels, they declare to start the game.

Prickle Fairy
Monster Card |
First turn comes to Ran. Drawing a card, she summons [Prickle
Fairy ~ Ibara No Yousei - 4/300/2000: Your opponent cannot
attack Insect-Type monsters unless he/she destroys this
card first. The Battle Position of a monster that battles
with this card is changed to Defense Position at the end
of the Damage Step] in a defense position. Ran claims
that as long as this monster isn't destroyed, Sho can't
attack any of her insect monsters.
Turn comes to Sho. He draws a card and plays it immediately.
It's the magic card, Shield Crush, that allows him to destroy
a defending monster on the field [Shield
Crush - Magic: Choose 1 Monster on the Field in defense
mode and destroy it]. Thus, he certainly selects
to destroy Princkle Fairy. After that, he normal summons
Steamroid in an attack position and lets it attack Ran directly
[Steamroid - 4/1800/1800: If this
card attack your opponent's monster, increase the attack
of this card by 500 points during the damage step only.
If this card is attacked by your opponent's monster, decrease
the attack of this card by 500 points during the damage
step only]. After she gets the direct hit, her LP
reduces to 2200 (4000-1800). People seem very impressed
by Sho's great move, admiring him as a real little brother
of Kaiser. Sho hardly believes that he is getting the cheer
from the audiences. His face even becomes red. He feels
very proud while telling himself that he can do it. Then,
he laughs out loud before ending the turn. Judai can't stand
seeing Sho's boasting act as closing his eyes. He says that
this is what Sho's bad behavior is.
|
Insect Princess
Monster Card |
Even Ran also thinks that Sho is very insolent. In her
turn, drawing a card, she summons Pinch Hopper into an attack
position [Pinch Hopper ~ Daida Butta
- 4/1000/1200: When this card on your side of the Field
is sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 Insect-Type
Monster from your hand]. Sho claims that her insect
monster isn't strong enough to oppose his Steamroid anyway.
However, Ran plays Multiplication of Ants that allows her
to sacrifice Pinch Hopper to special summon two Army Ant
Token with 500 attack points for each one onto the field
[Multiplication of Ants ~ Ari No Soushoku
- Magic: Offer 1 Insect-Type Monster on your side of the
field as a Tribute. Special Summon 2 "Army Ant Tokens"
Insect-Type/EARTH/4 Stars/ATK 500/DEF 1200 on your side
of the field. The tokens cannot be used as a Tribute for
a Tribute Summon]. Sho still looks down her monsters
and says that their attack points aren't scary at all. Ran's
target is actually at the effect of Pinch Hopper. She explains
that when it's sent to the graveyard, she can special summon
Insect Princess onto the field [Insect
Princess - 6/1900/1200: While this card is face-up on the
Field, the face-up Insect Sub- Type Monsters on your opponents
Field change to attack mode. Whenever this card destroys
an Insect Sub-Type Monster as a result of Battle, increase
this card's attack strength by 500]. Kenzan thinks
that Ran may be really a smart and scary girl. Sho looks
very amazed by the monster that could be summoned without
tributes. |

Insect Pheromone
Magic Card |
People begin to be worried about Sho. Ran explains that
effect of Insect Princess that if it can destroy his insect
monster in battle, its attack points can increase by 500
points. Sho feels sorry to her and claims that he has no
insect-type monster in his deck. At this moment, Ran smirks
before playing the field magic [Pollinated
Flower Garden ~ Chuubaika no Sono - Field Magic: Any level
4 or lower Insect Sub-Type Monsters on your Field under
your control are switched to the control of the opponent].
The battlefield then changes into giant flower garden. Due
to its effect, her insect monsters would change into the
control of the opponent. Thus, two Army Ant Tokens move
to Sho's field. Ran further equips Insect Pheromone with
Insect Princess [Insect Pheromone
- Equipment Magic: This card can only be Equipped to an
Insect Princess. If this Monster destroys a Monster as a
result of Battle, you can force 1 of your opponent's Insect
Sub Type Monsters face-up on the Field to battle with this
Monster during the same Battle Phase]. Then, she
first lets Insect Princess attack an Army Ant Token. When
it's destroyed, Sho's LP decreases to 2600 (4000+500-1900).
Once an insect monster on Sho's field is destroyed, Insect
Princess' attack points go up to 2400 (1900+500) following
the effect of Pollinated Flower Garden. In addition to the
effect of Insect Pheromone, Ran can force the remaining
Army Ant Token to attack Insect Princess. When the second
Army Ant Token is destroyed, Sho's LP more decreases to
700 (2600+500-2400) while Insect Princess' strength points
further increases to 2900 (2400+500). Ran then ends her
turn here.
Sho starts to get scared and accepts that Ran is actually
strong. Kenzan yells that it's absolutely what it should.
He says that although Mushi-San (Insect-San = Ran) has a
small physical body, she has evolved repeatedly since the
ancient time. Thus, she has presently become the survival
warrior. Judai tells Kenzan that he believes Sho will not
be defeated. Kenzan still looks uncertain. Judai says that
Kenzan doesn't know the true strength of Sho. Whenever Sho
has to do, he can do it. Sho also holds a triumph card.
At this moment, Manjyome turns back to Judai and looks very
concerned by his words.

Submarineroid
Monster Card |
Although Sho is getting depressed, he claps his face to
gain the fighting spirit back. He reminds himself of what
his brother taught him. At any time, he should give respect
to an opponent and do his best until the end. Also, Judai
has encouraged him not to give up easily. Some chance will
certainly come. Ran tells Sho that he has a choice to surrender
now. Sho, of course, gets his fighting spirit and moves
on bravely. Drawing a card, he changes the position of Steamroid
into a defense position. He then summons Submarineroid into
an attack position [Submarineroid
- 4/800/1800: This card can attack the opposing player directly.
If so, the battle damages done to opponent would be equal
to this card's original ATK. Also, you may switch this card's
mode to defense mode at the end of Damage Step].
Although Submarineroid has only 800 attack points, Sho actually
aims to its special effect that can attack Ran directly.
Submarineroid then disappears from the field, moves straight
to Ran, and attacks her directly from the ground. Thus,
Ran's LP reduces to 1400 (2200-800). According to another
effect, Submarineroid can change into a defense position
after the attack.
Judai wonders why Sho didn't activate Power Bond. If he
had done so, he would have probably won in this turn. Manjyome
tells him that Sho doesn't input Power Bond into his deck,
giving Judai the letter that Sho previously gave him. When
Judai opens the letter and sees Power Bond, he gets mad
at Manjyome. All people misunderstand that Manjyome intentionlly
takes this card from Sho. Manjyome has to correct his friends
that Sho gave this card to him by himself. Judai looks very
worried and doesn't understand why Sho has to do this. In
the game, Sho sets up a reversed card, and ends his turn.

Entry Forbidden!
No Entry!
Trap Card |
It's now Ran's turn. She draws a card and summons Magic
Longicorn in an attack position [Magic
Longicorn - 4/600: The effect of Magic cards the controller
of this Monster while its face-up on the Field in attack
mode plays has their effects negated]. Then, she
actviates the special effect of the field magic Pollinated
Flower Garden, forcing Magic Longicorn to move to Sho's
field. Ran claims that she will win if her attack succeeds.
She lets Insect Princess attack it quickly. At this moment,
Sho opens his reversed trap card [Entry
Forbidden! No Entry! ~ Shinnyu Kenshi!
No Entry! - Trap: Switch a Monster on your opponent's Field
into face-up defense mode. Send 1 card from your opponent's
hand to the Cemetery]. This card forces Insect Princess
to change into a defense position, so Ran's attack becomes
invalid. Due to its another effect, Ran has to discard a
card into her cemetery. Ran has only one card left on her
hand. When she sends it to the cemetery, she has nothing
left. Therefore, she has to end this turn. Professor Chronos
feels relieved that Sho could survive safely. Kenzan thinks
that Sho is still doing well. Judai convinces by saying
that Sho is actually strong and cheering him out loud.
Ran asks whether it's true that Sho has been Yuki Judai's
henchman [Koshiginchaku = henchman,
one's shadow] at the drop out Red dorm. Sho wonders
what kind of problem she has. Ran suggests Sho act as a
true henchman and not disturb her dream to meet Kaiser.
Sho argues and yells out loud, revealing his whole feeling.
Once, he was just chasing after Judai and his dear brother.
However, he has just made up his mind that he would change
himself. From this point on, he will keep up to their level
and walk together with them. Meanwhile, Judai looks amazed
a bit by Sho's strong intention.
"Shut
Up! It's true that when I was young, I was just chasing.
I just chased after my Dear Brother and Big Brother...just
chased after. However, I have already decided. I will
no longer chase after. I will get stronger, and then
keep on walking together with them."

Vehicroid
Jumbo Drill
Monster Card |
In the final turn of Sho, drawing a card, he activates
the magic card [Vehicroid Connection
Zone - Magic: Special Summon 1 Vehicroid from your Fusion
Deck by sending that Monster's Fusion Components from your
hand and/or Field into the Cemetery. This card cannot be
affected by Magic, Trap, or Monster card effects].
Ran says sorry to Sho that his activation may not be possible.
Since Magic Longicorn is on his field, it blocks Sho from
activating any magic effect. However, Magic Longicorn is
reflected when it tries to destroy Sho's magic card. Sho
explains that Vehicroid Connection Zone can't be destroyed
by any effect of magic, trap, or monster card. According
to its another effect, sending two fusion component monsters,
Drillroid on his hand and Submarineroid on his field, into
the graveyard, he can special summon Super Vehicroid - Jumbo
Drill onto the field [Super Vehicroid
Jumbo Drill - 8/3000/2000: Fusion Summon of this card can
only be conducted with the above mentioned cards. If this
card attacks monster in defense position and the attack
strength exceeds the defense strength of that monster, inflict
the difference as battle damage to your opponent's life
points]. He lets it attack Insect Princess quickly.
After the attack, Sho once declares its special effect.
When it attacks the defending monster with lower defense
points, the damages equal to the differences deal directly
to the opponent. Since Insect Princess' defense points are
1200, Ran's LP eventually decreases to 0 (1400+1200-3000).
Sho
shows up his victory sign among the great cheer of the audiences.
All people are glad with him. Ran feels so upset and embrarassed
because she already lost the chance to go and see Ryo in
Pro League. She just calls out Ryo name out loud. At Osiris,
people are getting surprised by the fact that Sho is going
to move to Ra Yollow as a result of the promotion. Manjyome
thinks that this will follow Temp Principle Chronos' plan
to get rid of Osiris Red. Kenzan asks Sho what Red dorm
will become next when Sho leaves. While Sho seemingly hesitates
due to their words, Judai firmly tells him to go. He understands
Sho well that he wants to go to Ra Yellow to get stronger.
Judai then returns Power Bond to Sho. Sho reminds himself
of what Ryo told him a year ago. Ryo said that Sho could
use this card only if he could give respect to an opponent.
Sho thinks that this card isn't necessary for him. From
now on, he intends to get stronger by his own power, so
he tries give it to Judai. Anyway, Judai tells him to keep
it because it's an important and memorable card Sho got
from Kaiser. Judai hopes Sho will do well. Misawa then walks
in and tells Sho that they will become rivals from now on.
Sho turns back and asks again whether Misawa is also here.
Misawa gets mad as if he's ignored, saying that he is always
here.
People
are sending Sho who is leaving for Ra Yollow. However, Sho
later returns to Osiris Red with his Ra Yellow uniform.
Sho claims his fried shrimp back from Kenzan's mouth. Kenzan
gives it back while asking whether Sho hasn't moved to Ra
Yellow already. Sho says that he still wants to have a meal
with Judai. Also, he comes to stop Kenzan because he won't
give the title of Judai's little brother to him. Sho still
keeps on provoking him until Kenzan gets mad. Manjyome tells
them to become quiet during the meal. Meanwhile, Judai takes
Manjyome's fried shrimp from his plate. Thus, Manjyome yells
at him, asking for his fried shrimp back. Nobody becomes
quiet at all.
to be continued...
