Under Duel Academia, deeper to the sealed 7 star gate, many small lights are moving around while only one spot light is moving up to the surface. Lastly, Sho, Hayato, and other students are preparing for Osiris Red festival activity. Sho is making some lines on the ground. He moves so fast that he steps on color buckets and falls down. Hayato is painting a board beside, putting the buckets on his way. Sho tells Hayato that here is the duel stage, so Hayato should move out and draw at other place. Then, he looks at the board that Hayato is drawing. It states that [Red Special! Cosplay Duel Tournament! - Red Meibutsu Cosplay Duel Taikai]. Actually, they are gonna have a cosplay duel. Sho is very impressed by Hayato's drawing skill. He is using his Des Koala and Des Kangaloo as the presenters. Sho suggests him change them into Black Magician Girl picture. Hayato seems not to like it, so Sho asks whether he has any problem. Hayato says that he means nothing.

Anyway, Sho changes the topic and talk about the others. After Judai and the others knew about what happened to Fubuki and Daitokuji teacher, they haven't looked fresh at all. However, it shouldn't be an excuse of not helping. Then, he goes back to work while there is the lady sound coming from the light flying from the underground of Duel Academia. Seeing the cosplay board, she seems interested in having some fun with it. At the same time, Judai, Misawa, Asuka, Ryou, and Fubuki are standing on the second floor of Osiris Red. They haven't participated in the school festival at all. Judai starts the conversation by talking about where Daitokuji teacher is. It is difficult to think that he has already been taken by a shadow duelist. Although people have different opinions about Daitokuji, Judai still believes in his teacher.

Meanwhile, Manjyome is moving a cat plaything and walking around the dorm. Judai tries to call him, Manjyome!, but Misawa corrects his name, Thunder! He asks what Manjyome is doing. Manjyome is actually trying to call Daitokuji teacher's cat, Pharaoh. If he can find the cat, Daitokuji teacher should be with it.

People are looking at the new poster with Black Magician Girl and Black Magician images to promote the cosplay duel of Osiris Red. Sho tells them that this is the idea of Hayato for Osiris Red festival. Fubuki thinks that this should be fun. Judai asks whether he hasn't known about this before. Ryou and Fubuki add that they have heard of Ra Yellow festival but not this Osiris Red one. Judai looks very surprised. Sho explains that Osiris Red doesn't have women to attract people. Misawa argues by saying that Ra Yellow doesn't have ladies, either. Sho keeps on thinking and seems not to listen to what Misawa said. He thinks that he should find some bloom while kneeling on the ground and asking Asuka for help. Asuka tries to refuse since she is shy, and she is with Obelisk Blue not Osiris Red. Anyway, Fubuki supports Sho's idea because he would like to see Asuka in a cosplay costume. Misawa and Judai seem interested in it and would like to join the cosplay as well. Sho looks very happy by a lot of help. Most importantly, he thinks that he has got Asuka to become his favorite character, Black Magician Girl. Hayato actually tries to tell him the truth, but Sho appears not to listen. Asuka knows that she has no choice but helps him.

Black Magician Girl finally gets dressed. However, she isn't Asuka but Tome-San. Sho is very shocked and doesn't understand why Tome-San puts on this costume. He doesn't want to accept it and merely cries. Tome-San thinks that people are rude to her. She is trying to show off herself how well she matches this suit. Nevertheless, when she raises her hand up, some clothes are torn off by her big size. Sho still cries and screams out, calling his real Black Magician Girl. Nobody knows that the real spirit of her is now watching and listening to everything on the top of the dorm.

Sho becomes very disappointed and sits outside the dorm as the others are changing their costume. Manjyome still keeps on looking for Daitokuji teacher's cat. Since Black Magician Girl costume is taken, Asuka chooses to become Harpy Lady. Hayato is very impressed by her good look. Asuka has an idea to invite Junko and Momoe to become three Harpy Lady Sisters. By the way, she asks what Judai would like to put on. Judai looks at many costumes on the table and decides to mix them up. Sho is wondering what kind of monster he would like to be. Even Judai has no idea either. Asuka thinks that if he doesn't know what he is, that isn't a cosplay. Sho and Hayato think that it should be fine for the festival.

Meanwhile, people hear something coming. Manjyome with XYZ costume is walking straight to the dorm. Ojama Black and Green are very impressed by his number master of Japan. Manjyome argues that he is the number one of the world. Judai and the others look very amazed by his great costume. It isn't the available suit at all. Manjyome says that he is the person who always keeps his words. If he says to do something, he will do his best. Asuka tells him that Manjyome looks good in that suit. Manjyome's face becomes red, thinking that he should take a camera with him. Sho can notice his reddy face, so he asks what Manjyome is actually thinking. Manjyome argues that he says nothing while moving into the duel court. He suggests people start the cosplay duel right away.

Many students seem very interested in the cosplay. Some is putting on Drunken Angel suit (The card of Kumazo or Hayato's father) and even Guardian Deathscythe suit (Raphael's card) . Manjyome starts annoucing the cosplay duel by asking someone who would like to duel with Judai. Judai would like to pass and let Manjyome do it. However, Manjyome lets Judai think carefully, claiming that he can't duel by his XYZ Dragon suit. Thus, Judai would like to give his turn to Hayato or Sho. Hayato makes an excuse that today he must be a staff, sceneshifter, while Sho forgets to bring his own cosplay.

At the same time, Fubuki tries to take Asuka's picture. He says that an older brother is very happy to see his younger sister in such a pretty costume. He plans to distribute the pictures to Asuka fan club. Asuka gets mad at him, chasing him to get back those pictures. Manjyome gives high respect to Fubuki and feels very happy by that Fubuki takes Asuka pictures for him.

Judai is still worried by that he has no opponent to play with in the cosplay duel. Then, a lady appears and says that she would like to duel. Certainly, she is the real spirit of Black Magician Girl, but no one knows that. Sho becomes very happy that she isn't Tome-San. People are also attracted by her pretty look. There is no doubt that people allow her to duel. Sho is wondering who she is since Osiris Red has no woman. More people are coming to Osiris Red to watch the duel. Misawa, with Amazoness Pet Tiger suit (Taniya's card), Professor Chronos, and Ryou, have just arrived. Professor Chronos is very impressed by Judai's opponent. Black Magician Girl is so cute and pretty in his sight.

Sho over appreciates his Black Magician Girl until Manjyome has to call him back to his duty. Sho and Manjyome are the hosts in this game. Sho declares the cosplay duel between Judai and Black Magician Girl. He introduces Manjyome, the legendary XYZ Dragon, as a narrator while he is an announcer. People don't seem interested in them, rushing to start the duel. Even Sho introduces the player, Yuki Judai, nobody seems to cheer Judai at all. They call him a fool by his confusing look. Judai feels enough. He takes off all of his annoying costumes because he can't duel with them. Sho turns to introduce Black Magician Girl. She greets people by her big smile. That makes people feel very overwhelmed. Sho tells both players to standby their duel disks and prepare for the duel. Although Judai doesn't know who she is, he intends to fight by his full steam.

When the duel starts, Sho declares the first turn to Black Magician Girl's side. Drawing a card, she gets herself, Black Magician Girl. She then sets up a face-down monster card and ends her turn. People seem to be very attract by every expression of her. Sho says "Bravo!" and claps his hands for her play before declaring the next turn of Judai. Judai draws a card and summons E-Hero Bubbleman in an attack position [E-Hero Bubble - 4/800/1200: If this card is the only card in your hand, you can Special Summon it in attack mode. When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, Special Summoned, or Reverse Summoned when it is the only card on your Field, draw 2 cards from your deck. ]. Sho turns his microphone to Manjyome to ask his opinion about Judai's monster, calling him XYZ Dragon-San. Manjyome answers certainly that Judai is going to draw additional 2 cards due to its special effect. Then, Judai draws the cards following to what Manjyome said. Sho admires XYZ Dragon-San for his correct prediction. Manjyome laughs out loud as if he can read every movement of Judai.

E-Hero Steam Healer Monster Card

Judai continues playing by Polymerization to fuse E-Hero Burst Lady on his hand with E-Hero Bubbleman on his field into E-Hero Steam Healer on the attack position [E-Hero Steam Healer - 5/1800/1000: If this card destroys a Monster as a result of battle, increase the controller of this card's Life Points by the attack strength of the destroyed Monster]. He declares its attack against the face-down monster at once. Thus, she chooses to remove Black Magician Girl and Magician's Valkyria from the game. Sho and all audiences are on her side, cheering her out loud to make the hit. Sho starts counting from 0 as other students keeps on counting 1, 2, 3. Black Magician Girl responds to her audiences and declares the attack, Fire!

Fire Sorcerer deals 800 direct damages to Judai, so his LP reduces to 3200 (4000-800). At this moment, Judai activates the special effect of E-Hero Steam Healer. Although Fire Sorcerer could deal damage to Judai by its flip effect, it is still destroyed by the normal attack of E-Hero Steam Healer. Manjyome explains that when E-Hero Steam Healer can destroy a monster in battle, Judai can gain LP equal to the destroyed monster. Fire Sorcerer has 1000 attack points, so Judai's LP increases to 4200 (3200+1000). The audiences seem unpleased with his play since Judai doesn't take it easy with the pretty lady.

Magician's Valkyria Monster Card

Turn is with Black Magician Girl. The students respond to her act even when she draws a card. Judai feels tired of it. Black Magician Girl summons Magician's Valkyria in an attack position [Magician's Valkyria - 4/1600/1800: While this card is face-up on the Field, your opponent can't choose to attack any of your other SPELLCASTER-Type Monsters]. This time, Sho describes its effect that as long as it exists on the field, Judai can't attack any spellcaster monster on her field. In other words, he can't attack her monsters at all. As Sho said, Magician's Valkyria and Black Magician Girl are special resummoned on her field. That means she has three spellcaster monsters on her field as Judai can't attack any of them. Professor Chronos is also impressed by her performance. Misawa notes that Black Magician Girl has been a card played in the deck of the duel king, Mutou Yugi. Sho starts leading the audiences and counts to attack again "1, 2, 3, Battle!". Black Magician Girl attacks E-Hero Steam Healer by Black Burning. At this point, Judai's LP decreases to 4000 (4200+1800-2000). Black Magician Girl tells Judai that her attack hasn't finished yet. She declares the direct attack of two Magician's Valkyria against him at once. People starts calling the attack of them with her, Double Magic Illusion! Two Magician's Valkyria attack Judai together, so Judai's LP dramatically decreases to 800 (4000-1600-1600).

Fusion Recovery Magic Card

It is now Judai's turn. Drawing a card, he plays Fusion Recovery from his hand [Fusion Recovery - Magic: Place 1 Fusion Material Monster used in a Fusion and 1 Polymerization Magic card from your Cemetery into your hand]. Black Magician Girl doesn't look worried. She turns to the audiences and gives them very pretty smile. That makes people more hate Judai. Kaiser and Misawa are considering the situation. Magician's Valkyria is protecting other monsters on the field by its special effect. As long as it stays there, Judai can't attack her monsters. As a result, Judai can do nothing in his battle phase. He sets up two face-down cards and ends his turn. Black Magician Girl doesn't know what kinds of cards Judai set up. Anyway, she says that she will try her best. That expression really brings attention from her audiences.

Staunch Defender Trap Card

It is now Black Magician Girl's turn. People try to cheer her up. Drawing a card, she thanks people for giving her such a good magic card [Magic Formula ~ Majyuttsu No Jyumonsho - Equipment Magic: Can only be Equipped on a Black Magician or Black Magician Girl. He turns to ask XYZ Dragon-San about the situation. Manjyome explains to him the effect of Judai's trap card. Actually, it forces all of the opponent's monsters to attack only E-Hero Flame Wingman. Magician's Valkyria is forced to attack E-Hero Flame Wingman, so it is finally destroyed. Black Magician Girl's LP decreases to 1500 (2000+1600-2100).

Sho is afraid that Black Magician Girl is going to be defeated soon. Manjyome agrees, saying that the result has finally been decided. People look very sad as if they can't accept the consequence. Black Magician Girl cheers people up since she intends to enjoy the duel until the end. She would like people to enjoy the game very much. That makes her feel very happy. She declares the last attack of another Magician's Valkyria against E-Hero Flame Wingman. Magician's Valkyria is forced to attack until it is destroyed. Therefore, her LP decreases to 1000 (1500+1600-2100). Manjyome explains the remaining effect of E-Hero Flame Wingman. When it can destroy a monster in battle, it can deal damages equal to the attack points of the destroyed monster directly to the opponent. As a result, Black Magician Girl gets more damages, and her LP eventually reduces 0 (1000-1600). She kneels on the floor and feels pity by her defeat. However, she tells people that she enjoys the duel very much. People agree with her that the duel was very fun. Sho feels the same and asks XYZ Dragon-San for his opinion. Manjyome probably feels the same thing. Judai feels that he did something bad. Anyway, his friends come in and suggest him enjoy the duel like the others. Black Magician Girl always thinks like that. Thus, Judai gets up with joy and says his favorite words "What a fun duel!".

At night, people are still enjoying the festival at Osiris Red around the campfire. Sho looks around for Black Magician Girl and sees no shadow of her. Asuka, Momoe, and Junko get dressed and become three Harpy Lady sisters. Junko would like people to take their pictures, but Asuka feels embrarassed and tries to stop her friend. Sho keeps on thinking about Black Magician Girl . Probably, she is the real one. He then sits down and looks up into the sky. Black Magician Girl might want to make people and Big Brother have fun, so she came to join the duel. Sho really enjoyed the game today. He thanks Black Magician Girl for what she did for him while his face becomes red. Meanwhile, Judai is looking at him and notices the spirit of Black Magician Girl appear beside him. She says that she really had fun today and thanks Sho for his time. She also gives him a kiss before leaving. Sho suddenly gets up and feels surprised by whether he is dreaming. Judai walks into him and asks what is going on. He guesses that Sho hopes to get the kiss from Black Magician Girl on his cheek. Sho doesn't understand how Judai can know his dream. Anyway, Sho doesn't care. He feels happy to get the kiss from Black Magician Girl although he thinks that it is merely a dream. That is great enough for him.
