At Academy North School, all students are calling his new king, Manjyome who is standing on a stage with the principle. The principle announces the representative of the north schooly officially, giving him the cards mostly passed through a new king. He believes that Manjyome must be able to use it proficiently. Now, Manjyome is the new king with the new name [Manjyome Thunder], raising his hand to respond to the students calling his new name.

At Duel Academy, Judai is actively summoning his E-Hero monsters, E-Hero Featherman, E-Hero Burst Lady, E-Hero Clayman, and E-Hero Sparkman, onto the field. He is getting very excited and hopes that his monsters would do their best today. Meanwhile, Sho is running in to look for Judai. He tells him that everybody has already gathered up, and the representative of the north school has already arrived. Thus, Judai hurries to leave out with Sho to see people outside. At the seaport, the principle of the north school, Principle Ichinose, is leaving his submarine, going to greet the principle of Duel Academy, Principle Sameshima . Ichinose principle asks whether Tome-San is fine. Principle Sameshima tells him that she is certainly fine. Also, this interschool match can't go on without her help. Anyway, Judai jumps off and interferes the conversation. He becomes terribly excited and asks them introduce his opponent. Principle Sameshima reminds Judai of his rude behavior. However, Judai just feels excited by seeing his opponent quickly. Seeing Judai, Ichinose Principle has realizes that he is the representative of Duel Academy and greets him. Judai turns himself to greet back and calls him the old principle guy of North School. Therefore, Ichinose Principle is falling down and getting shocked by Judai's greeting ( Japanese language has different words to talk with different level people. Judai seemingly use improper words as talking to the principle). Judai keeps on asking the principle to introduce his opponent, and even Principle Sameshima can't stop him.

Suddenly, there is the answer coming behind from the submarine. The owner of the voice tells Judai that his opponent is him. Judai asks again who is saying. The owner of the voice is actually Manjyome appearing on the submarine with some North School students. Of course, Judai is getting amazed and asking again who the opponent is gonna be. Manjyome tells him again the his opponent is standing in front of him now. Judai still repeats his questions while Manjyome confirms him many times that he is actually his opponent. Judai is getting shocked since he hasn't expected that his opponent is Manjyome. Meanwhile, Manjyome and the north school students remind Judai of the suffix, San (Manjyome-San). They are pleased with when Judai didn't call Manjyome, Thunder-San, with the proper suffix. Manjyome tells them to let Judai go and stares at him seriously. Then, both Manjyome and Judai are now crossing their eyes together.

Meanwhile, the wind blows up strongly as two helicopters are flying over a building near the seaport. People see the sign of Manjyome Group underneath the helicopters. Then, Shouji and Chousaku brothers appear on the helicopter, greeing his youngest brother, Manjyome Jun. Jun doesn't understand what exactly his two brothers are gonna do here. Shouji brother replies certainly that they have come to see the victory of his youngest brother. Chousaku also tells him not to be worried about anything. When the helicopters land on the building, TV cameras appear while many people are preparing for the broadcast. Most people don't understand what is going on. A cameraman is surprised by that nobody has known about this. He explains that people are going to broadcast the Duel Acedemy interschool match all over Japan. Judai is getting shocked by the fact that his face is currently showing up on many TV screens everywhere.

In a resting room, Jun is asking his two brothers for the explanation of this broadcast. Chousaku brother reminds Jun of their dream plan. Seemingly, Jun can't remember what that plan is. Shouji tells him that the plan is to conquer the world by the creation of Manjyome Group. For that purpose, they have prepared today for the promotion date of Jun. Also, they have heard from Professor Chronos that Jun has left Duel Academy 3 months ago. Among Manjyome brothers, Jun has been a drop out. Nevertheless, Manjyome Group is the sponsor of the today broadcast, so they can't forgive Jun for the defeat. Shouji brother gives him a bag of cards that they paid for. He hopes that Jun would use them to create such a strong deck for this duel and won't make them feel embrarassed. Jun is now feeling very depressed by both of his two brothers.

Manjyome

What do you intend to do, Brothers?

Chousaku Brother

We have already made a decision, haven't we? This TV Broadcast is the plan that is actually following the promise of our brothers.

Manjyome

Plan?

Shouji Brother

Yes, to create the the world of Manjyome group over the world is our dream!

Chousaku Brother

For that purpose, today is the day to promote you to become the star of the card game world.

Shouji Brother

Jun, I have already heard from Professor Chronos. You left the school 3 months ago, didn't you?

Manjyome

That is...

Shouji Brother That's fine, Jun. You have been the drop out among us from the beginning.
Chousaku Brother

Manjyome group is the sponsorship of this broadcast, so I won't certainly forgive you for any defeat.

Shouji Brother These are the cards that I and our big brother went across the mountain to get and paid money for. Use them to create the strongest deck! You got that, Jun? Don't break down the face of Manjyome group, Jun! Jun!

On the other side, Judai is running along the hallway, preparing and making up himself for the broadcast. Running pass through a restroom, he heards the voice of Manjyome from there. Judai sees Manjyome talking to himself painfully, looking at him quietly from the outside. Manjyome tells himself to win the duel and talks about the tough burden of his family. Also, he doesn't want to become the drop out among his brothers, so he has to win, no matter what. Manjyome merely cries without knowing that Judai is looking at and listening to him.

" No! No! No! Kuuso...Win! Win! I must not be the drop out among brothers. Win! Win! I must keep on winning...Victory! Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, the day after that, the next day after that, win! win! I must get only the victory! Nobody understands how heavy this burden is on my shoulders. People just say WIN....always win? Win! Win! Win! "

At Duel Acedemy, all audiences have been ready for the duel while the reporter is announcing the beginning of the interschool match. North School students are calling their king, Manjyome Thunder, waving the flag of the school. On the side of North School arena, Principle Ichinose is talking to Principle Sameshima that his school will get the reward if he wins this year. Principle Sameshima has realized that well and understands that both of them have waited for this time for the entire year. Meanwhile, Sho and Hayato are talking to Judai under the duel stage. Sho tells him to relax and take it easy. Judai defeated Manjyome before, so he should have no problem this time. However, this time Judai doesn't reply certainly as he usually does. Hayato is wondering whether Judai is losing his courage or confidence. Judai explains that he is now giving a lot of respect to Manjyome. Manjyome has done everything and come to this position by himself. Judai seems very impressed by Manjyome's hard attempt now.

Then, the principles of both schools stand up, declaring the openning of the friendship match between their schools officially. Principle Sameshima tells Professor Chronos to introduce the duelists from both schools. He is getting nervous a bit when this show is also broadcasting his face all over Japan. As he said, all TV screens are currently broadcasting Judai and Manjyome's faces. Professor Chronos first introduces Yuki Judai from Duel Academy. Although he would like to call him the drop-out boy, he can't say it now due to the broadcast and for the reputation of the school. While he is going to introduce the other side from the North School, Manjyome stops him because he would like to introduce by himself. Manjyome tells Professor Chronos to leave out and calls him rudely,Okappa Yarou (Okappa Yarou - Japanese Water Demon with green body and long-strange hair). Of course, Professor Chronos is getting furious, telling him to stop calling that name. He claims that a famous stylist creates his hair style. Anyway, he doesn't notice that microphone wire is winding up around his legs until he falls off the duel stage. Judai is worried about Professor Chronos, asking whether he is fine.

Manjyome walks onto the stage and speaks very loudly to the audiences. He asks whether people can remember him, challenging all people to listen to his reborn carefully. His new name is counted from 10 to 1000 and finally to Manjyome Thunder. At the same time, all North School students are chanting his king name around the stadium. Even is very impressed by his popularity. Manjyome turns to Judai and tells him to start the duel. He claims that he won't be defeated again by this time. Judai has been ready for his challenge. Then, the duel match between Judai and Manjyome begins.

"All of you...do you remember who I am!? Those of you who were relieved that I had left this academy! Those of you who went on about how I got what I deserved! If you don't know, use your ears and listen well! I have been resurrected from the depths of hell, like a phoenix! My name is...Ichi, Juu, Hyaku, Sen! Manjoume Thunder!!"

summary - second period
episode 25 translated by Janime

The duel between Judai and Manjyome starts among the huge crowd. First turn comes to Manjyome. After drawing a card, he summons Masked Dragon in a defense position and ends his turn [Masked Dragon - 3/1400/1100: If this card is destroyed as a result of Battle and goes to the Cemetery, you can Special Summon 1 Dragon Sub-Type Monster from your deck with an attack strength of 1500 or less. Afterward, shuffle your deck].

Armed Dragon LV3
Monster Card

Next turn is with Judai. He draws a card and summons E-Hero Burst Lady in an attack position [E-Hero Burst Lady - 3/1200/800]. He declares the attack of E-Hero Burst Lady, Burst Fire, against Masked Dragon at once. In fact, Manjyome has already aimed for this play. He activates the special ability of Masked Dragon. When it is destroyed in the battle, he can summon a dragon-type monster with 1500 or less attack points from his deck onto the field. Thus, he summons Armed Dragon LV 3 in an attack position [Armed Dragon LV 3 - 3/1200/900: During your Standby Phase, send this face-up card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 [Armed Dragon LV5] from your hand or Deck]. While Sho is getting amazed by the level, Asuka explains that the monster can evolve into a greater monster. Anyway, Misawa has realized that these are all rare cards, wondering whether Manjyome has got them. Principle Samishima also feels amazed by the rare cards inherited among North School. There is no doubt that they come from Principle Ichinose. Principle Ichinose repeats his words that he is very serious about the duel. He is also sure that the reward must belong to him. Principle Sameshi argues that he can't let the reward be with him, standing up and cheering Judai not to lose. Meanwhile, Judai is still enjoying the duel and would like to see those unseen cards. He sets up a face-down trap card before ending his turn.

Armed Dragon LV5
Monster Card

In Manjyome's standby phase, after drawing, activates the special ability of Armed Dragon LV 3. It can be sacrificed and levelled up to Level 5 in a standby phase. As a result, Armed Dragon Level 5 is summoned onto the field in an attack position [Armed Dragon LV 5 - 5/2400/2500: Send 1 Monster Card from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field with an ATK equal to or less than the ATK of the sent monster. During the End Phase of a turn that this card destroyed a monster as a result of battle, send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 Armed Dragon LV7 from your hand or Deck]. Misawa tells Judai to be very careful by the special ability of the leveling up monster. At this moment, Judai activates his face-down trap card, Hero Trap, and plays it with E-Hero Burst Lady [Hero Ring ~ Hero Halo - Trap:After activation, this card is treated as an Equip Card. Equip it to 1 Warrior-Type monster with an ATK of 1500 or less. Your opponent's monsters with 1900 or more ATK cannot attack that equipped monster]. According to its effect, Judai can block any block his monster from the attack of monsters with 1900 or more. In other words, Judai aims to that his E-Hero Burst Lady won't be destroyed by Armed Dragon LV 5 with 2400 attack points. Anyway, Manjyome claims that it is such a stupid idea. He suddenly activates the special ability of Armed Dragon LV 5. Due to its effect, discarding a monster into the graveyard, he can destroy a monster on the field with less attack points that the discarded monster. As a result, Manjyome decides to discard Flying Kamakiri #1 into the cemetery [Flying Kamakiri #1 ~ Dragonfly - 4/1400/900: If this card is put into your Cemetery from the Field during battle, you may summon a Air Main-Type monster with an attack strength of 1500 or less from your deck to the Field in attack moder]. Sho sees that the attack of Flying Kamakiri #1 is 1400 points, which is more than E-Hero Burst Lady. Therefore, E-Hero Burst Lady is destroyed by this special effect. After that, Manjyome lets Armed Dragon LV 5 attack Judai directly. Judai gets such a strong hit and it blown away. His LP reduces to 1600 (4000-2400).

Principle Sameshima tries to tell Judai to get up. Then, Judai jumps up and laughes. He has realized that TV is broadcasting this duel all over Japan. However, he gets embrarassed by that he doesn't look goon on the screens. Manjyome sets up a face-down card, ending his turn. At the same time, Shouji and Chosaku brothers are pleased with Jun's great performance. Nevertheless, Shouji thinks that Jun might overdo it. He explains to Chosaku that he doesn't want this duel to finish quickly because he still has time left on the broadcast. Both of them laugh and enjoy the duel.

On Judai's turn, he draws a card and summons E-Hero Bubble in a defense position [E-Hero Bubbleman - 8/800/1200: If this card is the only card in your hand, you can Special Summon it in attack mode. When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, Special Summoned, or Reverse Summoned when it is the only card on your Field, draw 2 cards from your deck]. According to its special ability, Judai can draw additional two cards if there is no other monster left on the field when this card is summoned. Drawing two cards, Judai plays [Polymerization] to fuse [E-Hero Sparkman] and [E-Hero Featherman] on his hand with [E-Hero Bubbleman] on his field into [E-Hero Tempest] with 2800 attack points. Judai lets it destroy Armed Dragon LV 5 immediately, so Manjyome's LP decreases to 3600 (4000+2400-2800). At this moment, Manjyome opens his face-down trap card, Call of the Haunted, to regenerate Armed Dragon LV5 onto his field [Call of the Haunted ~ Living Dead No Yobi Koe - Continuous Trap: Select 1 monster from your Graveyard and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. When this card is destroyed or removed from the field, the summoned monster is destroyed. If the summoned monster is destroyed, this card is also destroyed]. People starts cheering and calling Manjyome Thunder again as Judai sets up a face-down card and ends his turn.

Despair from the Dark
Monster Card

Even though Judai could destroy Armed Dragon LV5, Sho feels pity that it was still resummoned from the cemetery. Hayato has realizes that Armed Dragon LV5 requires a discarding card to activate its effect. Turn moves to Manjyome. As Hayato said, Manjyome discards the monster, Despair from the Dark, to activate Armed Dragon LV5's special ability to destroy a monster on the field again [Despair from the Dark ~ Yami Yori Ideshi Zetsubou - 8/2800/3000: When this card is sent directly from your hand or deck to your graveyard by your opponent's card effect, Special Summon this card to your side of the Field]. While E-Hero Tempest is going to be destroyed by the special attack of Armed Dragon LV5, Judai suddenly his face-down magic card, De-Fusion, to break his fusion monster into their normal bodies of three monsters [De-Fusion ~ Yuukou Kaijyo - Instant Magic: Return 1 Fusion Monster Card on the Field to its' owner's Fusion Deck. If all the Fusion-Material Monsters for the returned Fusion Monster Card are in the Graveyard, they can be Special Summoned to the Field at this time]. When E-Hero Tempest disappears, Armed Dragon LV5 misses the target. Thus, its attack becomes invalid. After that, Manjyome continues the normal attack of Armed Dragon LV5 against E-Hero Sparkman.

Armed Dragon LV7
Monster Card

Manjyome thinks that Judai made the wrong move on breaking his great monster and opens a chance for him to destroy his monster. At this point, he can activate another ability of Armed Dragon LV5. At the end phase, when this monster can successfully destroy a monster, he can sacrifice it to summon Armed Dragon LV7 onto the field [Armed Dragon LV7 - 7/2800/1000: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of Armed Dragon LV5. Send 1 monster card from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy all face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field with an ATK equal to or less than the ATK of the sent monster]. People start cheering Manjyome Thunder again as such a big level 7 dragon is summoned. Judai looks very amazed by the greatest form of Armed Dragon. Seeing Manjyome's deck, Shouji says that Jun didn't use the cards that they gave him previously. Chousaku is also even shocked to hear that.

Anyway, Judai doesn't look worried at all. He becomes more excited, jumps around, and says that he would like to get this card so much. Of course, Manjyome is getting annoyed by Judai's naturally stupid act. He realizes that his life is completely different from Judai's because he has a lot of pressure from his brothers. People in his family counts on him and have high expectation with him. For that purpose, Manjyome claims that he can't be defeated here, no matter what. However, Judai argues that Manjyome can't certainly defeat him at all.

It is now Judai's turn. He draws a card, summons Friendog in a defense position, sets up a face-down card, and ends his turn quickly [Friendog - 3/800/1200: If this Monster is sent to the Cemetery, you can return 1 Polymerization and 1 Monster with Elemental Hero in its name into your hand]. Next, Manjyome draws a card and activates the special ability of Armed Dragon LV7. Discarding a monster card into his graveyard, Manjyome can let Armed Dragon LV7 destroy all monsters with lower attack points than the discarded monster. Thus, Manjyome decides to discard Armed Dragon LV3. Because E-Hero Featherman (1000), E-Hero Bubbleman (800), and Friendog (800) all have less attack points than Armed Dragon LV3's (1200), they are totally wiped up by the special attack of Armed Dragon LV7, Genocide Cutter. All people are getting shocked. Even Principle Sameshima can't stand sitting but stands up to cheer him. At this moment, Judai activates the special ability of Friendog to take back Polymerization and E-Hero Burst Lady from his cemetery after it is destroyed. Then, Manjyome declares the final attack of his greatest power. Armed Dragon LV7 is going to attack Judai directly.
