In
the ocean, Manjyome is getting into a trouble on a sinking
ship. He is just sitting and thinking of his past. He was
defeated by Chronos, Misawa Daichi, and even Yuki Judai.
Then, the image of Judai when he says that he enjoys the
duel comes out in front of him. Having annoyed by this haunting
voice, Manjyome yells at him to shut up. He stands by his
duel disk, saying that he will win certainly in the next
duel. Anyway, the image of Judai that expresses his impression
to Manjyome's active feeling annoys him again. Manjyome
swings his arm out to chases that image away, bue he instead
cuts the air. Turning back, Manjyome still has no wayout
on the sinking ship. He takes out the last bottle of water
and drinks. The water is almost running off. Then, the image
of Judai appears in front of him again. Judai tells Manjyome
to give up and go back to duel with him. Getting more angry,
Manjyome accidently throws his last bottle to that image.
When he has realized that the bottle is falling into the
sea, he tries to get it back. Unluckily, he falls from the
ship into the water. At this moment, there is the big shadow
under the water moving toward him. Although Manjyome is
struggling, he is falling deeper into the sea till he loses
his consciousness.

Ojama Yellow
Monster Card |
Manjyome is still unconscious in a strange place. There
is small light spotting on his face with the voice calling
him Big Brother (Aniki=Big Brother: The same word that Sho
calls Judai). The owner of the voice, the glowing monster
[Ojama Yellow - 2/0/1000],tries
to wake him up, keeping on calling him. While it is placing
its butt on his face (Perhaps, it is gonna break wind),
Manjyome catches it until it disappears. The place becomes
dark again. Meanwhile, Manjyome gains his consciousness
as a myterious guy calls him out. He is wondering where
he is or whether he is the stomach of a whale. Seeing the
mysterious guy, Manjyome asks who he is. The mysterious
guy says that his name doesn't matter. He is holding and
looking at Manjyome's deck, asking whether he is also a
duelist. Seeing that his duel disk deck slot is empty, Manjyome
claims for the return of his deck from the guy. The mysterious
guy feels sorry to him and drops those cards intentinally
in a puddle. While Manjyome is getting mad by that his cards
are soaked, the mysterious guy gives him a present. It is
the monster card, Ojama Yellow that tried to wake Manjyome
up previously. Anyway, Manjyome is going to throw it away.
The mysterious guy tries to stop him, telling him that he
would be regret later if he throws it away. Manjyome doesn't
understand what the mysterious guy means. The mysterious
guy has realized that Manjyome would like to become stronger
because he always groaned and said those words when he slept.
He seemed to have the nightmare by Chronos, Misawa, and
Judai. The mysterious guy asks him whether he really wants
to become stronger. The image of Judai appears in front
of him again. Judai tells Manjyome that he has said before
that he was number 1 of the school. Thus, Manjyome replies
the guy that he certainly wants to become stronger and can
go anywhere to get the power. The guy asks him again whether
he has prepared his hard effort on that purpose. Manjyome
is sure that he can do that, claiming that he is Manjyome
Jun - Manjyome-San. The mysterious guy has understood that
Manjyome actually wants to become stronger even though he
dislikes the effort. He also feels that Manjyome has different
power from the others'. He finally decides to lead him to
a good place. Suddenly, the water pours down from the ceiling.
Manjyome is pushed out to the outside of the place that
is, in fact, a submarine, and he later lands on ice shore.

| The

Manjyome |
Effort?

| The mysterious
guy |
Hi hi hi, you dislikes the effort
but you would like to become stronger. What a surprising
guy! I feel that you have different power from the
others. Well, I will lead you to a good place. |
Getting
up, Manjyome sees a tall-yellow building far away. He also
wonders whether that mysterious guy wants to test him. He
doesn't care anyway and is certain that nobody can look
down him. Manjyome starts walking toward that building and
then stops in front of the big gate. He knocks the door,
telling someone to open it. When there is no response, he
is wondering whether no one is inside. Then, an old guy
sitting near the gate with a campfire tells him to stop.
It is worthless to knock the door. He explains that here
is Academy North School. The gate of the school can't be
open without 40 cards. This is the condition of the school
admission. Manjyome tells the old guy that he has just lost
his deck on his way, moving to sit close to the guy. The
old guy further tells him there is still some wayout. Througout
the island, there are many cards scattered on several places.
People can get their cards around the island. At this moment,
he has got only up to 39 cards. Seeing those collected cards,
Manjyome decides to take out his credit card and asks the
guy for selling them to him. Of course, the old guy refuses
to sell the cards that are like his life. Thus, Manjyome
changes his mind to depend on himself. He decides to get
cards by his own ability. The old guy warns him before leaving
that the greater cards are, the more dangerous places they
are.
Manjyome moves around the island to collect cards for his
own deck. He climbs up to the cliff, looks for cards in
ice rock, and even swim into the sea. Meanwhile, Manjyome
is thinking of Judai to encourage himself. No matter what,
he must be able to create his own deck and no longer be
a drop out. Finally, Manjyome has got a deck, returning
to the gate. Seeing the old guy, he asks whether he has
been still there. The old guy is wondering whether Manjyome
can successfully collect 40 cards. Therefore, Manjyome tells
him his story to get these cards. He fought against sharks
of the north sea, climbed up along endless cliff, and battled
against a polar bear and vampire bats. The result is his
complete deck. The old guy is very happy to his success.
Previously, he didn't give his cards to him because he didn't
a young boy like Manjyome to become like him. He is glad
to see that Manjyome has returned safely, telling him to
enter the gate now. Anyway, Manjyome tells the old guy to
enter together since he has another card left in his deck.
As a result, the old guy would have 40 cards, and he would
be also qualified. The old guy is wondering whether he is
gonna cause Manjyome some trouble. Manjyome tells him not
to misunderstand because he has actually 41 cards in his
deck. He decides to take out the useless card, Ojama Yellow,
and gives it to the old guy. However, his hand swings around
without control; he can't give this card to the guy. The
old guy is wondering whether Manjyome intends not to give
it to him. Manjyome doesn't understand himself either since
he can't control his hand.
Suddenly,
the spirit of Ojama Yellow appears from the card, asking
why his Big Brother (Aniki) would like to give it to the
other. Manjyome is getting surprised by this spirit. Nevertheless,
the old guy seems not to see anything. Ojama Yellow tells
him that only his Big Brother can see its appearance. It
doesn't want to stay with the other. Also, he has some family
and would like him to help it find its siblings. Manjyome
has no choice to keep Ojama Yellow, giving another card
to the old guy. The old guy thanks him a lot and asks for
his name. Manjyome tells him his full name, Manjyome Jun.
Because he would like to take some rest for a while, he
tells the guy to go first. The old guy sees that Manjyome
is such a kind and nice person. Manjyome tells him to shut
up and go now. Otherwise, he will take back his card. Thus,
the old guy hurries to move on. Manjyome sits down near
the campfire. He is getting worried since he now doesn't
have enough card. A card is missing. Then, the image of
Judai appears again. Judai tells him that Manjyome is such
a nice guy. Manjyome tries to punch him to shut him up.
At this time, he has just noticed a card on the ground.
It is the magic card, Chaos End. Having got 40 cards, Manjyome
goes back to the gate again. He shows up his complete deck
and asks for the entry. Suddenly, the system scans his deck
and opens the gate for him.
Walking
inside, Manjyome is wondering whether this old town is exactly
Duel Academy North School. Then, he sees the old guy thrown
out of an old building. Manjyome asks him what has happened.
Meanwhile, many students of the north school come out around
the place, surrounding Manjyome and the old guy. Then King
of the north school is sitting on a rocking chair while
his four partners are standing beside him. He explains that
he has just done the welcome ceremony to the old guy. Also,
he welcomes Manjyome officially to Duel Academy North School.
There is the tradition and the rule of this school. A new
student must duel against all 50 students to death. The
duel would start from the lowest rank to the highest rank.
After passing all of these people, the person is able to
duel against the King. However, if the person is defeated,
his level is on that losing order. The first opponent of
Manjyome shows up and calls for the duel. Manjyome can't
stand hearing people calling his name unproperly. Thus,
he declares his name officially and loudly that his name
is Manjyome-San (1=ichi, 10=jyu, 100=hyaku, 1000=sen, 10000=Manjyome-San:
Man=10,000).

Manjyome is dueling against the first student of North School.
His opponent now has 2000 LP left. It is now his turn. He
activates the magic card Limiter Removal to twice increase
the attack points of KA-2 Des Scissors [Limiter
Removal ~ Limiter Kaido - Instant Magic: Double the attack
strength of all of your face-up Machine Sub-Type Monsters
on the Field. Destroy all Monsters affected by this effect
at the end of the turn]. Thus, the total attack points
of KA-2 Des Scissors become 2000 (1000*2) [KA-2
Des Scissors - 4/1000/1000]. This strong strike finally
finishes the game, and his opponent's LP becomes 0 (2000-2000).
Manjyome has been dueling againts students of North School
up to 46 people. The top four students claims that they
would not allow him to reach his king anyway. Manjyome feels
annoyed to duel against a person. Thus, he challenges four
of them to duel at a time. The duel between Manjyome VS
the final four students of North School begins.

Marauding
Captian
Monster Card |
First turn comes to the 1st North School student.
He summons Marauding Captain in an attack position [Marauding
Captain ~ Kirikomi Taichoo - 3/1200/400: As long as this
Monster remains face-up on the Field, your opponent cannot
select another Warrior-Type Monster on your side of the
Field as an attack target. When this Monster is Normal Summoned
successfully, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower
Monster from your hand]. According to its special
effect, another level 4 or lower monster can be summoned.
Thus, he summons another Marauding Captain onto the filed.
The other North School students also play the same strategy.
Finally, there are 8 Marauding Captains summoned by the
four students. As long as Marauding Captains remain on the
field, the opponent can't select it as the first target.
Manjyome still looks very clam and doesn't worried at all.
Meanwhile, the spirit of Ojama Yellow has appeared and expressed
its scare.
Turn comes to Manjyome. Setting two face-down
cards, he summons Giant Rat in a defense position [Giant
Rat ~ Kyotai Nezumi - 4/1400/1450: If this card is put into
your Cemetery from the Field during battle, you may summon
a Earth Main-Type monster with an attack strength of 1500
or less from your deck to the Field in attack mode].
A North School student doesn't think that the weak monster
like that can protect him anyway. Manjyome tells him that
he can see their duel clearly. While he was previously looking
for cards around the island, he was thinking about how to
deal with weaknesses and finally came out with strategies.
Ojama Yellow is very impressed by its Big Brother, asking
whether Manjyome is refering to itself. Of course, Manjyome
is getting annoyed, telling it that only power matters in
the duel. Weak cards can't beat strong cards anyway. He
has learned that small fishes must be used in their own
ways. The 4 students of North School are getting surprised
by Manjyome's conversation because they can't see the spirit
of Ojama Yellow. Whatever they are seeing is that Manjyome
is arguing alone or blaming his own monster, Giant Rat.
Also, Giant Rat looks hurt by his master's words.
The second round of the game starts. The first
student of North School draws a card and activates the magic
card United Army to increase the attack points of Marauding
Captain[The A. Forces ~ Engougun - Permanent Magic:
Increase the ATK of all Warrior-Type monsters on your side of the field by 200 points for each face-up Warrior-Type and Spellcaster-Type monster on your side of the field]. Because there
are 8 Marauding Captains on the field, one of Marauding
Captain gains the total attack points of 2800 (1200+8*200).
He immediately lets it attack the weak monster of Manjyome,
Giant Rat. Seeing that Manjyome has no wall monster left,
the other North School students let their Marauding Captain
army attack him directly. At this moment, Manjyome activates
the special ability of Giant Rat. When it is sent to the
cemetery as a result of the battle, Manjyome can summon
an earth-type monster with 1500 or less attack points onto
the field. Thus, he decides to summon Gyaku-Gire Panda onto
the field [Gyaku-Gire Panda - 3/800/1600:
Increase this card's attack strength by 500 for each Monster
on your opponent's Field. If this Monster attacks a Monster
in defense mode, and its defense strength is less than this
Monster's attack strength, do Battle Damage to you opponent
equal to the difference].
The North School student sees that the monster
with only 800 attack points isn't the problem anyway. Meanwhile,
Manjyome activates the special ability of Gyaku-Gire Panda.
Its attack strength can increase by 500 points for each
monster on the opponent's field. Since there are 8 Marauding
Captains, Gyaku-Gire Panda's attack points become 4800 (800+500*8).
Moreover, Manjyome opens his face-down trap card, Ring of
Destruction, to destroy his own monster and deal damages
equal to the attack points of the destroyed monster to both
sides [Ring of Destruction ~ Hakai
Rin - Trap: Destroy 1 face-up Monster Card on the Field
and inflict Direct Damage to both players equal to the destroyed
Monster Card's ATK]. The North School students are
wondering whether Manjyome is going to kill himself with
the others. However, Manjyome doesn't think to do down with
all of them. He suddenly opens another face-down magic card,
Defense Ring, to negate the damages dealing to him [Defense
Ring ~ Bogyo Rin - Instant Magic: During this turn, any
damage done to you by a Trap effect is negated].
Manjyome starts counting down the final time. When Ring
of Destruction is exploded, all of North School students
and their monsters are wiped out. Their LP's become 0 (4000-4800)
while Manjyome remains the full 4000 LP since he is protected
by Defense Ring.
Manjyome points to the King of North School,
saying that he is the last one. King of North School starts
standing by his duel disk, saying that he is impressed by
Manjyome's strengths that made he come so far to this position.
Anyway, that is enough for him. Again, the image of Judai
appears beside Manjyome. He says that this guy looks pretty
strong, asking whether Manjyome is gonna be fine. Manjyome
is getting annoyed, knocking the image away. He also says
that he is Manjyome-San not only Manjyome. Then the final
duel between King of North School and Manjyome begins.
|
Devil's Sanctuary
Magic Card |
The first duel comes to King of North School.
Drawing a card, he plays two magic card Devil's Sanctuary
[Devil's Sanctuary - Magic: Special
Summon 1 Metal Devil Token with Dark/Fiend/1/0/0
to the Field. This token can't attack. Direct Damage
done to the Metal Devil Token's controller due to it being
in Battle is done to the opponent instead. During each of
your Standby Phases, pay 1000 Life Points. If you don't
pay, destroy the Metal Devil Token].
Upon these Sanctuary boundaries, two Metal Devil Tokens
can be summoned. Sacrificing two of them, he summons Devilzoa
in an attack position [Zoa ~ Devilzoa
- 7/2600/1900]. He sets up two face-down cards and
then ends his turn. He also provokes Manjyome to overcome
his play. Manjyome is pleased when the King calls his name
without "San" as a suffix, telling him again to
call Manjyome-San not only Manjyome.
It is now Manjyome's turn. Drawing a card,
he gets Ojama Yellow. Manjyome is getting annoyed to see
this monster again. Ojama tells him that the opponent is
too strong. Perhaps, becoming number 2 may be good enough.
However, Manjyome tells it to shup up and go out to fight,
summoning this weak monster in a defense position. Of course,
Ojama Yellow looks very scary and is trembling. Setting
two face-down cards, he ends his turn.
|
Metal Devilzoa
Monster Card |
The King has realized that Manjyome may have
only weak monsters in his deck. When the turn is back to
him, he draws a card and open the face-down trap card, Metalmorph
[Metalmorph ~ Metal Ka Mahou Haisha
Soukou - Trap: Increase the attack and defense strengths
of 1 Monster by 300. When the Monster Equipped with this
card attacks, increase the Equipped Monster's attack strength
by half of your opponent's attack strength]. He plays
this trap card with Devilzoa and sacrifices it to summon
Metal Devilzoa from his deck [Metalzoa
~ Metal Devilzoa - 8/3000/2300: Sacrifice a Devilzoa
with a Metalmorph equipped to
it. You can play this card to the Field from your deck].
According to the special ability of Metal Devilzoa, it can
be smmoned specially from the deck if Metal Devilzoa equipped
with Metalmorph is sacrificed. Seeing such a great monster,
Ojama Yellow becomes more scared as if it understands its
own destiny. After that, the King opens another face-down
trap card, Call of the Haunted to resummon Devilzoa from
his graveyard [Call of the Haunted
~ Living Dead No Yobi Koe - Continuous Trap: Select 1 monster
from your Graveyard and Special Summon it in face-up Attack
Position. When this card is destroyed or removed from the
field, the summoned monster is destroyed. If the summoned
monster is destroyed, this card is also destroyed].
|
Inferno Tempest
Magic Card |
The image of Judai appears again. Judai is
very surprised by the great monsters with 2600 and 3000
attack points, asking what Manjyome is gonna do now. Anyway,
Manjyome feels that this should be more fun. The King has
realized that Manjyome has not great monster to defeat his
Devilzoa. On the other side, Manjyome has only one combo
to beat this guy. The King then declares the attack of Devilzoa
against Ojama Yellow. It gets mad at Manjyome, screaming
loudly before it is destroyed. Later, Metal Devilzoa attacks
Manjyome directly. Thus, his LP reduces to 3000 (4000-1000).
At this points, seeing little LP of Manjyome, the King thinks
that the game should be decided now. However, Manjyome has,
in fact, waited for this attack. He suddenly opens his face-down
magic card, Inferno Tempest that can be activated only if
he got 3000 or over damage points [Inferno
Tempest ~ Hell Tempest - Instant Magic: You can activate
this card when you receive 3000 points of Battle Damage.
Remove all Monsters in each player's deck and Cemetery from
the game]. All monsters from cemeteries and decks
of both sides shall be removed from the game. Because the
King can read his skills, Manjyome decides to remove all
of his monsters from his deck. The King thinks that Manjyome
is even throwing the victory since he still has great monsters
with 2600 and 3000 attack points on the field. Again, Manjyome
shouts at him, telling him to call his name Manjyome-San
not only Manjyome.
Turn is returned to Manjyome. Drawing a card,
he says that the King would regret to duel against Manjyome
Jun. He then plays his drawn magic card, Chaos End, that
can be played to destroy all monsters on the field only
if there are more 7 cards removed from the game [Chaos
End ~ Magic: You can only activate this card when 7 or more of your cards are removed from play. Destroy all Monster Cards on the field].
As a result, Devilzoa and Metal Devilzoa are totally destroyed.
Furthermore, Manjyome pays a half of his LP to play another
face-down trap card, Return from the Different Dimension
[Return from the Different Dimension
~ Ichigen Kara No Kikan - Trap: Pay half of your Life Points.
Special Summon to your Field as many of your Monsters that
have been removed from the game as you are able to. During
the End Phase, remove all Monsters from the game that were
Special Summoned by this effect]. Therefore, his
LP decreases to 500 (1000/2). Due to its effect, he can
resummon as many monsters removed from the game as he wants
onto the field. The monsters recalled are Skill Knight#2,
KA-2 Des Scissors, Disk Figher, and Gemini Devils. Each
of them has 1000 attack points or 4000 in aggregration,
sufficient to beat the King.
[Skull Knight#2 ~ Skull
Knight - 3/1000/1200: If you sacrifice this card to summon
a Demon Sub-Type monster, you may Special Summon 1 [Skull
Knight] from your deck. Shuffle your deck afterward]
[Disc Fighter - 4/1000/1000:
If this card attacks a Monster in defense mode that has
a defense strength of 2000 or more, do not calculate damage
and destroy that Monster]
[Gemini Devils - 4/1000/1000:
When your opponent activates a card that includes the effect
of discarding cards from your hand, you can put this card
into your Cemetery from your hand to negate that activation
and effect, destroy that card, then draw 1 card]
Anyway,
Ojama Yellow with 0 attack points is also returned. Manjyome
declares the attack of all monsters, Manjyome Thunder Special,
against the King directly, so his LP reduces to 0 in a time
(4000-1000-1000-1000-1000), and he is finally defeated.
Then, the strange guy with a mask whom Manjyome met under
the sea appears. He says that the king has seemingly been
born, taking off his mask and showing off his real face
as the old guy whom Manjyome also met before in front of
the school. Manjyome doesn't understand what the whole thing
means. The old guy explains that he is actually the principle
of this school [Ichinose].
During that time, Manjyome was rescued by the submarine
of the school. Because Manjyome now becomes the new king,
he also becomes the school representative in the interschool
match against the principle school, Duel Academy. Manjyome
has just realized this interschool match. He had forseen
that the representative of the school would be the first-grade
student, so he just informed Duel Academy that the North
School would submit the first-grade student in this game.
Of course, Manjyome is surprised by that the principle had
predicted before the he would become the new king. The principle
reminds Manjyome of what he said before. He said that Manjyome
seemed to have different power from the others. Anyway,
he asks what is his opponent from Duel Academy. The principle
tells him that the name of the opponent should be Yuki Judai.
Hearing this name, Manjyome is getting more excited and
laughs. He hardly imagines that he is gonna have another
chance to duel against Judai like this. Meanwhile, all North
School students are bowing for their new king, accepting
Manjyome as their real leader.
