At the seaport of Duel Academy, Tome-San is working with
a carrier and many workers. She doesn't notice that there
is a mysterious guy with scuba suit, sneaking into the island.
He comes up on another shore and aims his target to Duel
Academy. Also, he expresses his name [Kunisaki
Kousuke], intending to find reveal some secret at
this school.
In
a meeting room, teachers, Principle Sameshima, Professor
Chronos, and Marufuji Ryo, are discussing about the friendship
match against Duel Academy of the North School. They are
deciding who should represent their Duel Acedemy. Professor
Chronos is unplease if people are going to select a new
candidate. He agrees to that the representative should be
the same student as last year, Marufuji Ryo. Principle Sameshima
gives the point that the representative of the North School
is merely the first-grade student. While Marufuji Ryo is
the third-grade student, people should select the same first-grade
student in this match. Ryo doesn't mind at all although
he may not participate in this duel. Then, Principle Sameshima
asks which first-grade student deserved a good candidate.
Ryo offers and calls out Yuki Judai. Of course, Professor
Chronos is getting shocked as Principle Sameshima has no
doubt about Judai's ability. Other people start talking
about this candidate while Professor Chronos is becoming
more worried. He can't accept the drop-out Judai to become
the school representative. As a result, he proposes the
new candidate, Misawa Daichi. He suggests to set up the
internal match between these two candidates. The winner
will become the real school representatvie. In conclusion,
Principle Sameshima and the others all agree to this idea.
Chronos |
Why?
In the friendship duel against Duel Academy of the
North School, we should select Singore Marufuji Ryo
as our representative as we did in the previous year.
|
| Principle
Sameshima |
In
that case, we heard that the representative of the
other side was merely the first-year student. |
Chronos |
The
first-year student? |
| Principle
Sameshima |
Due
to this reason, we had better choose the same first-year
student as our representative. What do you think,
Marufuji-Kun? |
Ryo |
That's
okey for me. |
| Principle
Sameshima |
Um..then,
the point is who will become our new representative. |
Ryo |
Yuki
Judai |
Chronos |
Yuki
Judai~ |
| Daitokuji
Teacher |
This
should become a difficult situation....neee...Pharaoh~ |
| Other
teachers |
Yuki
Judai? Is he serious? |
Ryo |
That
guy..., I think that he can show us such an interesting
duel. |
| Principle
Sameshima |
Um
that guy...I have no doubt about his capacities. |
Chronos |
(Um....I
hate this. That drop-out boy is going to become the
representative. Is there anybody who can oppose him?
Huge.....) Well, I offer Misawa Daichi. |
| Principle
Sameshima |
Hum...that
Ra Yellow? |
Chronos |
Let's
both of them battle against each other. The winner
will become our representative. How is it? |
| Principle
Sameshima |
Is
that okey, Marufuji-Kun? |
Ryo |
Hum... |
On
the other side, Kunisaki sneaks into a locker room. He gets
out a Osiris Red uniform that suits him, trying to disguise
as an student. Meanwhile, Daitokuji teacher is announcing
the representative match between Judai and Misawa in their
classroom. Of course, the winner will become the school
representative against the North School. Judai turns to
Misawa and gives him a big smile. Both of them are certainly
glad to hear this news. Daitokuji Teacher really hopes to
see a good match from them. After class, Sho becomes very
excited by this match. Hayato has never seen an Osiris Red
selected as the school representative before. Judai is getting
excited as well. He talks to Misawa that this unexpected
match has come faster. In fact, Misawa has done a lot of
research on Judai's Elemental Hero deck, trying to create
the 7th deck. Judai is very curious whether Misawa has done
it yet. Although Misawa hasn't finished his job, he is sure
that he will finish it in time before their duel. Judai
and Misawa then shake their hands together. Judai really
hopes to see such a good match with Misawa. Then, Misawa
leaves. Sho is wondering how the 7th deck of Misawa is gonna
be. Even Hayato is getting more excited by this great duel.
Judai thinks that he should return now to create a superior
deck for the game.
Judai |
He...me?
|
| Daitokuji
Teacher |
Yes,
you have to duel aaginst Misawa-Kun. The winner will
be able to duel against the North School. I am looking
forward to seeing such a nice duel. |
Sho |
You
are great, Big Brother. You are going to become the
school representative. |
Hayato |
Until
now, no Osiris Red student has been selected as a
representative before. |
Judai |
Hi
Hi Hi The chance of our battle has come fast unpectedly. |
Misawa |
From
that day, I have done research every day....the 7th
deck to oppose your Elemental Hero deck... |
Judai |
Have
you finished it yet? |
Misawa |
Not
yet...but I will make it done in time before the duel. |
Judai |
I
am looking for having fun! |
Sho |
The
7th deck...I am wondering how it is gonna be. |
Hayato |
I
think that this should such a great duel. |
Judai |
Well, I have to return immediately
and work on creating a superior deck. |
At this moment, Kunisaki with Osiris Red uniform is trying
to talk to Obelisk Blue and Ra Yellow students in the shool.
However, nobody would like to talk to him, pushing him away.
Kunisaki doesn't understand why people ignore him and don't
give any help. He hasn't realized yet that he picks up the
wrong color uniform. Sho, Hayato, and Judai are wondering
who this guy is. Sho sees that this guy looks too old to
be a student. Judai decides to walk in and talk to him.
Looking at Kunisaki closely, he calls him an old man. Kunisaki
looks surprised when called as the old guy. Judai understands
that Kunisaki has returned to the school for a few year.
Thus, Judai tries to cheer him up. He believes that if Kunisaki
tries hard and doesn't give up, he will finally get promoted.
Then, Judai drags him back to the dorm to have dinner.
Kunisaki is getting shocked by the meal at Osiris Red dorm
as Judai is eating happily. Judai tells this old man to
start eating. Seeing Kunisaki look amazed, Sho explains
that only Judai enjoys the meal at this dorm. Then, Kunisaki
starts eating calmly. At night, Judai is preparing his deck
in his room for the tomorrow duel. Sho is wondering what
kind of deck Misawa is gonna create. Hayato is also worried
since Misawa has done research on Judai's deck all the time.
Then, Judai has done his deck. Even though he has no idea
what kind of Misawa's deck is gonna be, he believes in his
deck. Sho and Hayato realize that this is what Judai usually
is; he has never hestitated, been worried, and always enjoys
a duel.
Anyway,
Kunisaki is always with people in the room. He sees Skycraper
card dropped on the floor. He picks it up and thinks seriously,
reminding himself of his painful experience; he was duelisling
against Blue Eyes White Dragon and Seto Kaiba, and he was
defeated. Judai asks Kunisaki what he is wrong with this
old man. Getting annoyed by the improper pronounce, the
old man, Kunisami accidently reveals his real name of Kunisaki
Kousuke. Then, Judai calls his real name, asking whether
he likes Skycraper. Kunisaki turns his face and tells people
that he really hates dueling. Of course, Sho is wondering
why Kunisaki comes to this school by that reason. Kunisani
tries to give a good reason that failing isn't fun for him
at all. In fact, Hayato actually understands Kunisaki's
feeling. He had that kind of feeling before when he thought
that he was pretty bad and would like to give up. Nevertheless,
when he saw Judai's duel, he got an inspiration to do harder
and better. Thus, Sho thinks that Kunisaki should be the
same. If Kunisaki sees Judai's duel, he would understand.
There is the represetative judgement match coming in, Sho
would like him to see it. Kunisaki thinks that he, in fact,
has no time to play with these kids. However, these people
may be a good source of his news. Kunisaki starts asking
about the rumor of this school; there are some student disappearing.
Judai is wondering whether Kunisaki means the ghost dorm.
He refuses that he doesn't know much about it. Anyway, Kunisaki
gets the first start of his target.
Sho |
What
kind of deck is Misawa-Kun going to create? |
Hayato |
That
guy seems to do a lot of research on Judai's deck
all the time. |
Sho |
Big
Brother |
Judai |
That's
it. This is good. Well! |
Sho |
Big
Brother |
Judai |
Whatever
kind of Misawa's deck is gonna be, I believe in this
deck. |
Sho |
That
is what Big Brother usually is. |
Hayato |
Hum... |
| Kunisaki |
Hi...(how
childish!) |
[Kousuke thinks about his painful
experience against Seto Kaiba; he was defeated]
|
Judai |
Old
man , what's wrong? |
| Kunisaki |
Don't
call me Old Man! I am Kunisaki Kousuke! (Ah, I accodently
told him my real name) |
Judai |
I
see...Kunisaki-San. Skycraper...does Kunisaki-San
like it? |
| Kunisaki |
I
don't like dueling. |
Sho |
Well,
why have you come to Duel Academy? |
| Kunisaki |
Ah...I
mean failing isn't fun at all. |
Hayato |
Ah!
I understand that feeling very well. I have thought
that I was bad before until I would like to give up. |
Judai |
Hayato |
Hayato |
However,
when I saw Judai's duel, I would like to try harder
and better again. |
Judai |
Hi
hi hi |
Sho |
Hayato-Kun.
That's right. If Kunisaki-San sees Big Brother's duel,
you will understand. This is a good time. There is
gonna have a representative judgement duel. |
| Kunisaki |
Ah...(I
don't have time to hand around with these kids. Ah..yes...they
may know something) Naaa...I have heard about the
rumor....some students disappeared from the school.
Is that true? |
Judai |
Do
you mean the ghost dorm? |
| Kunisaki |
The
ghost dorm? |
Judai |
Ah...I don't know about that motifying
thing. |
Outside
the rumor dorm, Asuka places a rose in front of the dorm
gate for her brother as usual. Then, Kunisaki appears and
greets her. Asuka is wondering by the appearance of this
old Osiris Red student. He tells Asuka that he has heard
about the rumor that many students disappeared from this
dorm. Also, he asks whether Asuka gets involved with those
students. Asuka says why he asked and what he intends to
do, getting annoyed. She tells him to return to his dorm
since this isn't his business before she leaves. Kunisaki
can see how scary Asuka looks. However, he can't give up
anyway. This is such a wonderful and valuable story that
may bring him a lot of money. Then, he takes many pictures
of this abandoned dorm before leaving.
At night inside Ra Yellow dorm, Misawa is still doing his
research on Judai's deck especially on E-Hero Flame Wingman,
Judai's key card with threatening ability of dealing damage
directly to the opponent. Thus, the best solution should
be to seal E-Hero Burst Lady and E-Hero Featherman. Then,
Misawa moves on to another troublesome monster, E-Hero Thunder
Giant. This 2400 attack point monster has also special on
destroying a monster when summoned. This monster can be
summoned by E-Hero Sparkman and E-Hero Clayman. Misawa then
stops on the research and starts thinking. He thinks that
he should find the best solution and conclusion and not
move around like this. Finally, Misawa has got the key card
and the idea of how to oppose Judai's fusion monsters. He
is certain that Judai's Hero fusion monsters won't appear
in front of him. |

In
the duel day, Judai is having breakfast happily as usual.
He thinks that rice and a killifish on a side dish are very
delicious. However, Sho tells him it is actually a dried
sardine not the killifish. Judai and Hayato feel that Sho
looks a bit serious. Sho tells people that today is the
important day of the representative judgement duel. Last
night, he was so excited that he couldn't sleep well at
all. Sho thinks that Judai should have some tense as he
has. However, Judai normally looks very fresh with high
fighting spirit. Before the duel, he must be full by this
meal. This is what he always is. By the way, Sho is wondering
where Kunisaki has gone to.
At
Duel Academy, Professor Chronos calls out all Singore students
and announces the representative judgement duel officially.
He first introduces Misawa from Ra Yellow greatly while
mumbling to introduce Judai from Osiris Red. Seeing Misawa's
face, Judai has assumed that he has already done his 7th
deck. Misawa tells him that he will have fun in the duel
by his 7th deck to beat Judai. However, Judai doesn't think
that he will be defeated at all. Looking from audience seats
are Sho, Hayato, Principle Sameshima, and even Daitokuji
Teacher with his cat, Pharaoh. Meanwhile, Asuka and Ryo
are standing and watching the duel. Ryo tells her that this
duel should be fun. However, he notices that Asuka looks
different and doesn't pay attention today. Asuka tells him
that there is nothing before turning to be normal. At the
same time, Kunisaki is moving into the school. This is a
good chance while people are paying attention to the duel.
Then, he reminds of Judai's kind face and act yesterday
but tries to forget about it. He later sneaks into a library,
trying to connect and hack into the school computer system.
Professor Chronos declares the beginning of the game. First
turn comes to Misawa. Drawing a card, he summons [Carbonedon
- 4/?/600] in a defense position and ends his turn.
Sho is getting amazed. That 600 defense-point monster can't
become a good wall at all. Furthermore, Misawa didn't face
down any card. Judai is very curious to see the 7th deck
of Misawa. It is now his turn. He draws a card and summons
it, E-Hero Burst Lady [E-Hero Burst
Lady - 3/1200/800], on to the field in an attack
position. He lets it attack Carbonedon at once. Setting
a reversed card, Judai ends his turn.
Misawa thinks that the real will start from now on. Next,
drawing a card, he gets the key card to beat Judai. Then,
he summons Oxygedon in an attack position [Oxygedon
- 4/1800/800: If this card is destroyed as a result of battle
from a Fire Main-Type Monster, do 800 damage to both players].
Misawa declares the attack of Oxygedon against E-Hero Burst
Lady at once. Suddenly, Judai opens his reversed trap card
Hero Barrier [Hero Barrier - Trap:
You can only activate this card if you have an E-Hero on
your Field when your oppponent attacks with a Monster. That
attack is negated]. This card can be activated and
then negate the attack only if there is an E-Hero monster
on the field. As a result, the attack of Oxygedon becomes
invalid. Judai claims that his E-Hero monsters aren't easy
to be beaten. Misawa admires Judai that he deserves the
no.1 title (Ichiban-Kun). However, Misawa thinks that this
no.1 is gonna be destroyed by his key card. He places it
in his slot as a reversed card, ending his turn.
Meanwhile, Ryo thinks that Misawa may have done a lot of
research on Judai's deck, wondering how the game is gonna
be. Also, Asuka thinks that only calculation doesn't bring
the victory. Judai personally has a talent to adapt and
develop through the flow of the duel. Ryo looks at Asuka
until Asuka tires to make the excuse that she doesn't do
any special favor and turns back to watch the duel.
It is now Judai's turn. He draws a card and summon it,
E-Hero Sparkman [E-Hero Sparkman -
4/1600/1400], onto the field in an attack position.
He then equips Spark Gun with it [Spark
Gun - Equipment Magic: This card can only be equipped to
an E-Hero Sparkman. You can change the mode of 1 Monster
on the Field. This effect can be used more than once, but
if used 3 times, destroy this card]. Certainly, Judai
uses its effect to change the position of Oxygedon into
a defense position only with 800 defense points. After that,
he lets E-Hero Burst Lady destroy Oxygedon. Misawa is gonna
show Judai the consequence of the Fire attack (E-Hero Burst
Lady is a fire type monster). He activates the special ability
of Oxygedon. When it is destroyed as a result of battle
from a Fire-Type monster, 800 damage points deal to both
players. Therefore, Judai's and Misawa's LP decrease to
3200 (4000-800). Although Misawa could successfully deal
some damage to Judai, his field is now totally wiped out.
Thus, Judai declares the attack of E-Hero Sparkman against
Misawa directly. Misawa's LP goes down more to 1600 (3200-1600).
At this moment, Principle Sameshima talks to Daitokuji Teacher
that Osiris Red student in this year is pretty hot. Judai
seems to be a hope of Osiris Red. Certainly, Professor Chronos
is getting more worried and upset by hearing that.
Judai asks Misawa whether his decks are really strong.
Although Judai's Hero deck looks pretty strong, Misawa is
certain that Judai hasn't even 1% to win at all. Misawa
is also thinking about playing by his best shot to push
or lure Judai to play his key card, Polymerization. Claiming
that he will show Judai the real power of his 7th deck,
Misawa contines his turn. He draws a card and summons Hydrogedon
in an attack position [Hydrogedon
- 4/1600/1000: If this Monster destroys a Monster as a result
of battle, you can Special Summon 1 Hydrogedon from your
deck]. He declares the attack of Hydrogedon against
E-Hero Burst Lady, so Judai's LP goes down to 2800 (3200+1200-1600).
Then, the special ability of Hydrogedon is activated. When
it can destroy a monster as a result of battle, another
Hydrogedon from his deck can be summoned. Moreover, Misawa
plays the equipment magic card Living Fossil [Living
Fossil - Equipment Magic: Special Summon 1 Monster from
your Cemetery and Equip it with this card. Decrease that
Monster's attack strength by 1000 and that Monster cannot
activate any effects. If this card is destroyed, so is the
Equipped Monster]. Due to its effect, Misawa can
regenerate Oxygedon from his graveyard and equip this magic
card with it. However, its attack points are decreased by
1000 points and any effect can't be activated. As a result,
Oxygedon has only 800 attack points left (1800-1000). Sho
is certainly getting shocked by the three monsters summoned
in a turn. After that, Misawa plays the magic card Bonding
H2O [Bonding H2O - Magic: Sacrifice
2 Hydrogedon and 1 Oxygedonon your Field in order to Special
Summon 1 Water Dragon from your hand or deck]. Sacrificing
two Hydrogedon and one Oxydedon on the field, Misawa can
summon specially Water Dragon in an attack position [Water
Dragon 8/2800/2600: This card cannot be Normal Summoned
or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the
effect of Bonding - H2O. While this card is face-up on the
field, the ATK of FIRE monsters and Pyro-Type monsters become
0. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard,
you can Special Summon 2 Hydrogedons and 1 Oxygedon from
your Graveyard], and he then ends his turn. Most
people are all very impressed by the wonderful tactic of
Misawa. Professor Chronos is supposed to be the most happy
by Misawa who is gonna become an Obelisk Blue student.

Cursed Seal
of Forbidden Spell
Fuuma No Jyuin
Trap Card |
Misawa thinks that Judai should get so depressed that he
may use his key card, Polymerization, next. Sho sees that
E-Hero Sparkman can't oppose the great monster with 2800
attack points at all. Also, Judai accepts such a great combo
of Misawa. He is still energatic, claiming that the real
game will start from now on. He draws a card and finally
gets it, Polymerization. Seeing Misawa sacrifice three monsters
to summon Water Dragon, Judai is going to do something similarly.
Judai is gonna fuse E-Hero Featherman and E-Hero Bubbleman
on his hand and E-Hero Sparkman on his field into E-Hero
Tempest [E-Hero Tempest - ?/2800-
Magic: This card can be summoned by the fusion of E-Hero
Bubble, E-Hero Featherman and E-Hero Sparkman. Send 1 card
on your field into the Cemetery in battle in order to activate
this effect. This Monster is protected from being destroyed
once]. While Judai is activating Polymerization to
fuse all of them, Misawa, who has waited only for this time,
suddenly opens his reversed Counter trap card Cursed Seal
of the Forbidden Spell [Cursed Seal
of the Forbidden Spell ~ Fuuma No Jyuin - Counter Trap:
Discard 1 Spell Card from your hand to negate the activation
and the effect of a Spell Card and destroy it. Your opponent
cannot activate Spell Cards of the same name (including
the Spell Card that is destroyed by this card's effect)
during the rest of the Duel]. Discarding a magic
card on his hand, Misawa can negate the activation of the
opponent's magic card. As a result, he discards Double Magic
into his graveyard to destroy Judai's Polymerization. In
the worse situation, Judai can't activate Polymerization,
the magic card with the same of the destroyed card, again
in this duel. Misawa can read that Judai's depends on fusion
monsters. Thus, he just attacks Polymerization to seal the
whole fusion play. Judai is getting shocked. Sho is also
worried since Judai's fusion combo has been totally destroyed.
People are also getting iworried while only Professor Chronos
looks happy and enjoys Misawa's play. Misawa says that this
is the tactic specially for Judai, claiming that here is
no mistake in his calculation at all. Judai is getting more
in trouble when his important combo is finally sealed.
