episode 174 summarized by Janime

The duel of Fubuki is continued. He has already figured out the true identity of Darkness standing in front of him. Darkness appears to be Fujiwara Yusuke, Fubuki's close friend whom thought to be dead a long time ago.

In the mid of duel in front of the school's courtyard, Fubuki has Red-Eyes Black Dragon on the field and has 1700 LP left. On the other side, Fujiwara has 2600 LP without any monster. He takes off Darkness' mask and reveals his true identity to Fubuki. Judai and Johan have just arrived, but they are blocked by the group of Mr.T. Johan is surprised by seeing Fujiwara Yusuke by the first time. Judai explains that he is the guy who desires and looks for the world of Darkness by himself.

Black aura begins to emerge from Fujiwara's body. Fubuki accepts that he thought Fujiwara was dead at that time (He describes in episode 159 about the last time he saw Fujiwara a couple years ago). He smiles as seeing Fujiwara still alive. Fujiwara convinces Fubuki that he certainly has to survive because to entrust his body into the world of Darkness doesn't mean to kill oneself.

Anyway, Fubuki still doesn't understand why Fujiwara has to do this. He asks him to release captured people and return their memory to normal. Fujiwara explains that he understood the fact when he unified himself into the world of Darkness. In that world, there is no loser or winner, neither nor loneliness or suffering. There is only a sense of unity that penetrates troubles. Everything becomes one, and everybody shares the same rejoice and suffering. It's the ultimate victory without fighting beyond living. Fujiwara asks whether Fubuki doesn't think that it is a wonderful world.

Johan doesn't understand at all what Fujiwara is talking about. Judai changes the topic by asking where the captured people are. Fujiwara says that those people are living in the worlds they desire, but their existence soon will be meaningless. The real meaning is that it's about the starting time for the gate of Darkness to be opened. Judai still looks confused by Fujiwara's answer. Fujiwara tells Fubuki that it hasn't been late yet if Fubuki wants to join. This will be his last defeat, and Darkness will accept all of his pain. Fubuki doesn't response and looks at Fujiwara calmly.

Fubuki Fujiwara, at that time, I thought that you were dead. But you seem to be alive.
Fujiwara Of course, to entrust my body with Darkness doesn't mean to kill myself.
Fubuki If so, why did you do this, Fujiwara? Release people who are captured and return the memory to normal! There is only a sense of unity that penetrates troubles. All intellects become one. All feelings of rejoice and suffering...everything is sharing them all. That's victory beyond living....the ultimate victory that can be obtained without fighting. Don't you think that it is such a wonderful world?
Johan What is that guy talking about?
Judai Fujiwara! How are captured people?
Fujiwara They are living in the worlds they desire. Soon, their existence will be meaningless. And by the real meaning, it's the start for the gate of Darkness to be opened.
Judai What?
Fujiwara Fubuki, it hasn't been late yet. This will be the last defeat, and Darkness will receive all of your pain.

Fujiwara then continues his turn. He draws a card and plays field spell [Clear World - Field Spell: According to the attribute of a monster on your field, the player in control of that monster gains one of the following effects. 1) Light Attribute: They must continue on with their hand revealed. 2) Dark Attribute: They cannot declare an attack. 3) Earth Attribute: Once per turn, destroy 1 monster on your field. 4) Water Attribute: Discard 1 card in your hand during the End Phase. 5) Fire Attribute: Receive 1000 points of damage during the End Phase. 6) Wind Attribute: You cannot activate Magic cards].

6 crystals appear in the sky with solar eclipse and around the battlefield. They change the whole field into a white field with clear blue sky. Fujiwara explains that, in this Clear World, both players will receive negative effect depending to the attribute of their monsters. Red-Eyes Black Dragon's attribute is Dark, the negative effect of Clear World to the controller of Dark-Attribute monster is that the player can't declare an attack. Fujiwara mentions that any thing with attribute or personality is influenced. However, this is necessary with Darkness (In other words, if one is with power of Darkness, it won't be affected by Clear World. The power of Darkness is the concept of nothing. Fujiwara obtains this power in his Clear deck whose monsters' attribute can't be designated. He is going to show it in his next play).

Judai and Johan understand that Clear World is such a troublesome card. Fujiwara plays spell card [Clear Sacrifice - Spell: Remove monsters with Clear in their names in your Cemetery from the game equal to the number of sacrifices needed for the Sacrifice Summoning of a monster with Clear in its name. You can Normal Summon that monster without the use of monster sacrifices].

Due to its effect, he can remove as many as Clear monsters in the cemetery from play and normal summon a Clear monster that requires tributes equal to the number of the removed monsters from his hand. Thus, Fujiwara removes Clear Phantom and Clear Rage Golem in the graveyard from play, normal summoning [Clear Vice Dragon - ?/0/0: {This card is not treated as a Dark Attribute as long as its face up on the field. When this card battles with a monster, this card's attack power becomes double of the attack power of the opponent's monster conducting battle. If this card is destroyed by a Magic, Trap, or Monster effect, you can negate its destruction by discarding 1 card in your hand.}] from his hand onto the field in attack position.

Clear World
Spell Card
Clear Sacrifice
Spell Card
Clear Vice Dragon
Monster Card

Fujiwara explains that Clear Vice Dragon doesn't have any attribute, so it doesn't receive any negative effect from Clear World. Johan doubts whether this monster is Fujiwara's ace card. Fujiwara understands well that Fubuki is a duelist who believes in the bond. That's because of his friends before he obtained the power of Darkness. However, the bother thought is no longer necessary.

Note: Again, Clear Vice Dragon certainly has Dark attribute. However, its special effect allows it not to have Dark attribute when faced up on the field. Animation just presents that it doesn't have any attribute to meet the concept of Darkness "Nothing" (Entertainment purpose).

Clear Vice Dragon has 0 attack point, but Fujiwara clarifies that it has special effect to have its attack points double by the attack points of an opponent monster conducting attack. Red-Eyes Black Dragon has 2400 attack points, so Clear Vice Dragon has 4800 attack points (2400*2).

Johan and Judai are very amazed by this effect. It doesn't what kind of monster Fubuki summons because its attack points can't be higher than Clear Vice Dragon. Judai is afraid that the situation doesn't look good. By just a single blow, the game will be finished.

Fubuki then murmurs to himself that this is nonsense. Fujiwara asks what Fubuki is saying because he seems unable to catch his last words. Fubuki gets angry and yells that it is nonsense. He understands that Fujiwara stepped into the world of Darkness in order to obtain the ultimate power. When he met Fujiwara in the underground level of the old blue dorm, Fujiwara was performing a ritual by using his blood to the open the gate to the world of Darkness.

For Fubuki, Fujiwara's purity is dazzling. Fubuki was impressed by Fujiwara's wonderful attitude and exposure towards the peak. However, he doesn't understand why the world Fujiwara has been to becomes like this. Just for this world, Fujiwara fell into Darkness, threw his personality away, made everyone become one, and believed in victory without defeat. Everything is non sensed to Fubuki. He thinks that Fujiwara is just a person who isn't aware of unlimited possibility of humans. For him, Fujiwara didn't go beyond a human but just threw away his heart in the world of Darkness.

Fujiwara is disappointed to see Fubuki, who once obtained a part of Darkness, like this. It's just to see one side of the world with foolish thought and belief that desire and possibility spread to unlimited future. Fujiwara tells Fubuki better see true pain of people and their form that ask for Darkness. His blue and evil eyes then glow, pulling Fubuki, Judai, and Johan into Darkness' dimension.

Fubuki What non sensed!
Fujiwara What? I can't catch your last words.
Fubuki I said NONSENSE! You set your steps into the world of Darkness in order to obtain the ultimate power. For me, your purity is dazzling. Simply, I thought about your wonderful attitude aiming towards the peak. But, what is this world? Just for something like this, you who is above genius, had to fall into Darkness, didn't you? Throw personality away? Become one with everyone? Victory without defeat? What non sensed! You are just unaware of infinite possibility of a humankind. You didn't go beyond a human. Didn't you just throw away your heart in the world of Darkness?
Fujiwara It's sad to understand this level of you who once acquired a part of Darkness.
Fubuki Fujiwara!
Fujiwara You must see only one side of the world. It doesn't run away from a foolish thought to believe that desire and possibility spread to infinite future. You had better see it. True pain of human...the form going for Darkness!

Three cards covered by dark aura are flying in front of people. They are Power Bond of Sho, Ojama Yellow of Manjoume, and Doble Passe of Asuka. Fubuki, Judai, and Johan wonder what these cards mean. Fujiwara explains that they are the future coming from their own deep heart. Each card represents dark world.

The first one is Manjoume's world. It's the same pro match (episode 173). Manjoume has 300 LP while his opponent has 1200 LP. He doesn't want this scene to rerun anymore, asking for it to stop. Manjoume falls onto his knees with despair, trembling and thinking about what he should do.

Manjoume appears to walk alone in a dark side of streets. He then ends up with 3 strangers. They recognize Manjoume as a pro who has never won. It may not matter because they expect a pro like Manjoume to have valuable cards. Manjoume goes straight to the point what they want. They say that they are duelist hunters, looking for beatable guys like Manjoume for an anti-rule duel (A game bet by cards). Manjoume realizes that these people are Ghouls (Rare hunter group appears in Duel Monster series - Battle City), approaching into a duel without any choice.

As time has passed, Manjoume has 300 LP left while his opponent has 1200 LP. None of them has any monster, and it's now Manjoume's turn (like his previous pro match). Manjoume doesn't think to be a trouble like this. He now has Reload on his hand, planning to finish his opponent off by his next draw. When Manjoume touches his card to draw, the spirit of Ojama Yellow appears and cries. Ojama Yellow realizes that the situation is the same as the prior game.

Manjoume stops drawing since he can expect what situation will be next according to his previous nightmare. He will have Reload and Ojama Yellow and have to gamble by two choices: to summon Ojama Yellow in defense position or to play reload for another chance. However, the nightmare has already gavin him answer that any choice didn't give him winning game (episode 173). Manjoume stops drawing while knowing that he can't beat them no matter what.

The other Ghouls are rushing Manjoume to draw quickly. There is no way for him to escape since they intend to duel and win Manjoume anyway. Manjoume gets very angry when looked down like this. He decides to cheat by drawing a card beneath Ojama Yellow and summons it [Masked Dragon - 3/1400/1100: When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster with an ATK of 1500 or less to your side of the field from you Deck. Then shuffle your Deck] onto the field in attack position.

Manjoume appears to come back from the street match to the pro match. Masked Dragon appears on his field, following by alert sign for his unfair or cheat play. The host is announcing Manjoume's surprise cheating that he didn't draw the top card on his deck. There has never been any cheating like this in the history of pro league, so this may result in his life ban. Manjoume falls onto his knees. He chuckles and thinks whether he has already been released from this nightmare. At the same time, there is black wave moving closer to him from his back.

Fubuki This...
Fujiwara This is the future that came out from the depth of their own heart.
Manjoume I don't want this any more.... stop it!! Should I fight more...? I... I...
Man I Hi Hi Hi! He's Manjyome, right? He's a Pro and he never even won once, I heard?
Man II That's good. Even if he is a trash, Pro is a Pro.
Man III He should have valuable cards, shouldn't he?
Manjoume What are you guys?
Man I We're duelist hunters. We look for beatable guys like you and have anti-duel.
Manjoume Ghouls? I was in a bad mood too.
Manjoume, Man I Duel.
Manjoume (I didn't know that I would get involved with guys like this. But I will finish with this draw.)
Ojama Yellow Big Brother~ This is like that time~
Manjoume (If things goes on like this, I can't beat them no matter what I do!)
Man II Draw quickly! You don't have any place to flee to.
Man III We're going to do it until we win anyway.
Manjoume These...Ghouls
Ojama Yellow Big Brother!
Manjoume Eat it! (This place?)
Announcer This is surprising! Manjyome is cheating! It seems that he drew the card that was not on the top when drawing! There was no duelist who cheated like that in history of Pro League! This could possibly lead to lifelong ban!
Manjoume Am I released now...

Next is Sho's darkness. He has already started a new pro league following his brother's dream. However, it's such an empty league without any audience. His opponent is disappointed as he has never seen any pro league like this. Thus, he decides not to duel Sho and leaves.

Time has passed, Sho gets old. He enters the room to see his brother sitting on a wheelchair. Sho confesses to Ryo that he has already been at his limit. There is no way that he can lead a new pro league. Meanwhile, Ryo begins to groan with pain. When Sho hurries to run in, Ryo's body becomes sand and disappears. Sho is relieved that he doesn't have to work hard for his brother's dream anymore because his brother has already gone. Then, big wave is moving closer to him from the outside window.

The last one is Asuka's darkness. Her future is that she becomes a teacher at Duel Academia but can't get along with her students well. The students ask how dropout like them can be the top-class duelists. Asuka can't answer that question, so the students begin to leave her classroom.

Asuka quickly goes after her students, explaining that she just wants to give them joy of duel. The picture she sees isn't her students but many bodies of herself. They all have evil eyes, stare at Asuka, and ask whether she has been prepared enough to teach students. The fact is that Asuka wants to be a teacher just for her own satisfaction. The students think that she is merely a hypocrite.

The students in Asuka's form walk closer to her and surround her. Asuka gets scared as she doesn't want this and tells them not to come in. Her evil forms tell her that she doesn't have heart to teach others. She doesn't have qualification to be a teacher, either. The eyes of those people turn blue and glow, making Asuka depressed and fall deeper into darkness. The big wave behind the window of Duel Academia building begins to approach her like Sho and Manjoume.

A pro Don't kid me! I've never heard of Pro League like this. I'm returning.
Sho In the end, there's no power for me and my brother to lead new Pro League... Brother... this is my limit. B...brother? It might be good that way... now I don't have to try any more...
Student I How can drop-outs like us can become first-class duelists?
Student II Yeah right.
Student III She can't even say.
Asuka Wait!! I just wanted to give joy of duel!
Evil Asuka Teacher! Do you even think that you are enough to teach others? The only reason you're teaching is for your self-satisfaction. Why don't you realize that? What a hypocrite!
Asuka I don't want this... don't come...
Evil Asuka You don't have it in your heart to teach other people. You are not even qualified as a teacher.

summary - second period
episode 174 summarized by Janime

Judai, Johan, and Fubuki are surprised by seeing the darkness worlds of Manjoume, Sho, and Asuka. Fubuki asks what Fujiwara intends to do by showing those made-up images to him. Fujiwara says that they are not made up. Those are actual concern remaining in Sho's, Asuka's, and Manjoume's minds, and these possibilities become true and real. Fubuki is unable to save them from their hearts by hope and dream as he said. Those concerns are darkness in their own hearts.

Fujiwara tries to send his messages to Asuka, Sho, and Manjoume that everything has been over by now. Three of them have been worn out from the fight, so Fujiwara tells them to be enough and follow him to the world of Darkness. The big wave finally strikes three of them in their dark world, pulling them from their sadness to the world of Darkness. Then, Judai, Johan, Fubuki, and Fujiwara return to the real world in the mid of duel with Clear World field.

Judai and Johan can feel that his friends' consciousness have already gone. Fubuki asks Fujiwara madly what Fujiwara actually did to them. Fujiwara says that he just looked into their hearts and found some similarity to Darkness. Sho, Manjoume, and Asuka have already erased their existence from their memories and been released from everything. Fujiwara took in all of their pain and sadness or their darkness of hearts to become one with Darkness.

(Rerun) Fujiwara's dark power begins to expand. He tells Fubuki to show his darkness of heart. Whatever it is, Fujiwara will take them all. Fubuki declares that he won't be defeated and won't throw away is hope. He will teach Fujiwara possibility of humans, win this duel, and save people and also Fujiwara from Darkness.

Note: To remind, Fujiwara can't pull people into the world of Darkness if persons don't expose their darkness in hearts. Whatever it is, Fujiwara can look through and maximize it until persons feel depressed and want to be released from that darkness by themselves. When people actually come to Fujiwara by themselves, he just takes all of their pain and sadness by erasing all of their memories and sending them to the world of Darkness or the world of "Nothing".

Fubuki What do you intend to do, showing these created false images?
Fujiwara They're not made. As long as nervous uncertainties about future exist in their minds, that possibility becomes truth and reality. You cannot rescue their inner hearts by hopes and dreams you speak of. Because they have darkness in their hearts. But, everything's done now. I will take you, who were all worn out from fighting! With me, to world of Darkness!
Judai What?! Just now, everyone's consciousness....
Johan Disappeared.
Fubuki What have you done... What have you done to them!?
Fujiwara I just took their hearts in. It seems that they assimilated with Darkness.
Fubuki What!?
Fujiwara By this, they erased their existence from their own memories and was released from everything. Wandering ones, pained ones, saddened ones! I will take everything. I will take that darkness of heart in! Become one with Darkness!
Fubuki Fujiwara!
Fujiwara Come one Fubuki! Show me your darkness of heart! I will accept them all.
Fubuki I won't be defeated. I won't throw away hope. I will teach you possibility of humans. I will win this duel. I will save them and save you from Darkness.

Fujiwara tells Fubuki that his intention is now useless, declaring the attack of Clear Vice Dragon towards Red-Eyes Black Dragon. At this moment, Fubuki opens his face-down trap card [Burst Breath - Trap: Tribute 1 Dragon-Type monster on your side of the field. Destroy all face-up monsters on the field whose DEF is equal to or less than the ATK of the Tributed monster].

According to its effect, Fubuki sacrifices Red-Eyes Black Dragon on the field to destroy a monster whose defense points are lower than Red-Eyes Black Dragon's. Thus, when Red-Eyes Black Dragon is sacrificed, Clear Vice Dragon has no target to attack. Instead, Clear Vice Dragon has 0 defense point, so it has to be destroyed by the effect of Burst Breath. Fubuki feels sorry for his Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Fujiwara doubts whether this is hope that Fubuki is talking about. He hopes Fubuki will go on as he wants, ending his turn at this point.

The turn comes to Fubuki. He draws a card and summons [Hound Dragon - 3/1700/100] onto the field in attack position. Fujiwara is pity that Fubuki doesn't have any chance to reverse the game. Hound Dragon has Dark attribute, so it can't attack following the effect of Clear World. Here seems to be the end of Fubuki's turn.

Burst Breath
Trap Card
Hound Dragon
Monster Card

The turn moves to Fujiwara. Drawing a card, he opens his face-down trap card [Nihilistic Summoning Technique ~ Kyomu No Shoukanjyuttsu - Continuous Trap: Select 1 of your monsters with a level of 4 or lower removed from the game and Special Summon it in attack mode and equip onto it this card. The equipped monster's attack power becomes 0 and cannot be switched to defense mode. When this card is destroyed, destroy the equipped monster].

Due to its effect, Fujiwara can special summon a monster removed from play onto the field an equip it with this trap card. Thus, he selects to call back Clear Rage Golem onto the field in attack position. Anyway, Clear Rage Golem summoned by Nihilistic Summoning Technique must have 0 attack point. Johan believes that Fujiwara is planning for something.

Next, Fujiwara plays spell card [Attribute Mastery - Equipment Spell: Designate 1 Attribute when activated. If the equipped monster conducts battle with a monster of the designated Attribute, destroy the opposing monster being battled with without applying Damage Calculations] with Clear Rage Golem. He also has to declare an attribute, so he declares Dark attribute.

If Clear Rage Golem equipped with Attribute Master attacks a monster with Dark attribute, the attacked monster will be destroyed without damage calculation. Fubuki understands what Fujiwara is planning because his Hound Dragon has Dark attribute.

Fujiwara plays the next spell card [Attribute Bomb - Equipment Spell: Designate 1 Attribute when activated. When the equipped monster destroys a monster of the designated Attribute, inflict 1000 points of damage to the opponent] with Clear Rage Golem. Again, he has to designate an attribute, and he certainly declares Dark attribute. If Clear Rage Golem can destroy the monster with Dark attribute, 1000 points will be inflicted to the opponent. Judai thinks that Fujiwara just does what he wants.

Spell Card

Fujiwara then declares the attack of Clear Rage Golem towards Hound Dragon. Although it has 0 attack point, Attribute Mastery equipped with it can destroy Hound Dragon without damage calculation. In addition to the effect of Attribute Bomb, Fubuki has to receive 1000 damage points when Hound Dragon with Dark attribute was destroyed. Thus, his LP goes down to 700 (1700-1000). Fubuki falls onto his knees as Fujiwara ends his turn at this point.

At this moment, the solar eclipse is almost full, causing darkness around the places. Fubuki is trying to hold himself up, realizing that his friend is pretty strong. He isn't sure whether he is going to win this duel. However, this duel is important to him to the extent of the real victory for this battle and his belief about true possibility.

The turn is now with Fubuki. Drawing a card, he smiles and turns to talk to Fujiwara. It doesn't matter why, but Fubuki thanks Fujiwara for being alive. He then plays spell card [Dark Factory of Mass Production ~ Yami No Ryousan Koujyou - Spell: Select 2 Normal Monsters from your Graveyard and add them to your hand]. It allows him to add Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Hound Dragon from his graveyard onto his hand.

Fubuki says that he won't make this bond disconnected, normal summoning [Red-Eyes B.Chick ~ Kokuryuu No Hina - 1/800/500: Send this face-up card on your side of the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 Red-Eyes Black Dragon from your hand].

According to its special effect, Fubuki sends it into the cemetery to special summon Red-Eyes Black Dragon from his hand onto the field in attack position. Fujiwara remains that Red-Eyes Black Dragon has Dark attribute, so it can't attack as a result of Clear World's effect. Also, Clear Rage Golem is equipped with Attribute Mastery and Attribute Bomb, which opposes Dark attribute. Fujiwara doesn't understand what Fubuki intends to do.

Johan doubts whether Fubuki is just obstinate to fight. Judai thinks that it's different. This is actually true play of Fubuki. Judai is right. Fubuki reviews his actual aim, playing spell card [Inferno Fire Blast ~ Kokuendan - Spell: Select 1 face-up Red-Eyes Black Dragon on your side of the field to activate this card. Inflict Damage to your opponent’s Life Points equal the original ATK of the selected Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Red-Eyes Black Dragon cannot attack the same turn you use this card] with Red-Eyes Black Dragon.

Fujiwara is pretty shocked. Fubuki explains that the attack points of Red-Eyes Black Dragon will inflict to Fujiwara directly. Red-Eyes Black Dragon flies into the sky and fires Inferno Fire Blast towards Fujiwara. This strike makes Fujiwara's LP decrease to 200 (2600-2400). Setting up a face-down card, Fubuki ends his turn. Judai is glad to see that Fubuki finally made it.

Fujiwara sees that Fubuki successfully attacked him. However, after all, Fubuki can't defeat him. It's now Fujiwara's turn, and he is going to finish Fubuki off by Clear Rage Golem. Drawing a card, he says farewell to Fubuki and declares the attack of Clear Rage Golem towards Red-Eyes Black Dragon.

At this moment, Fubuki interrupts the game by apologize Fujiwara. Fujiwara is surprised by what Fubuki wants to say now. Fubuki mentions that he has desired to apologize Fujiwara for a long time that he was unable to save him when Fujiwara went to the world of Darkness. Nevertheless, this time is different. Fubuki intends to go with Fujiwara. If this can save everybody, Fubuki calls it victory.

Red-Eyes Burn
Trap Card

When Clear Rage Golem attacks, Fubuki feels sorry to Red-Eyes Black Dragon and activates his face-down trap card [Red-Eyes Burn - Trap: When a monster with Red-Eyes is destroyed, inflict damage equal to its attack power to both players]. Due to its effect, when Red-Eyes Black Dragon is destroyed, damage equal to its attack points will be inflicted to both sides. Judai and Johan become surprised by Fubuki's decision. Fubuki hands over and asks Fujiwara to go together this time. Nobody can replace his friend, and he apologize for everything. From now on, they will be together.

Fujiwara gets scared while asking this to be stopped loudly. Meanwhile, Red-Eyes Black Dragon is destroyed, and there appears large explosion burning LP of Fujiwara and Fubuki to 0 (200-2400 and 700-2400 respectively). Both of them disappear together while Judai is calling for Fubuki out loud.

Game seems to end by a tie result. The solar eclipse is gone and the sun shines brightly and normally. Judai and Johan fall onto their knees and become very upset to Fubuki's sacrifice. Suddenly, they appear to be still in the game under Clear World field and the solar eclipse. The whole duel is rerun or time is rewinded to when Fujiwara said that he would like to see Fubuki's darkness of heart -->> Rerun

The time is rewinded to the fifth turn. At this time, Fujiwara has 2600 LP, a card on his hand, Clear Vice Dragon with 0 attack point, and Memory Snatcher on the field. On Fubuki's side, he has 1700 LP, 4 cards on hand, and Red-Eyes Black Dragon with 2400 attack points on the field.

Fujiwara says that he would like to see Fubuki's darkness of heart. Thus, the game after this until the end of the tie result is just a vision Fujiwara foresees to capture Fubuki's darkness. It isn't real. Fujiwara has already realized that Fubuki has suffered all the time that he couldn't save him. This suffering and concern become Fubuki's darkness of heart.

Fubuki I'm so sorry, Fujiwara...
Fujiwara What!?
Fubuki I've been wanting to apologize for all this time. Back then...Back then, I wasn't able to save you. But, now I'm with you too. So, if it will save everyone else, I consider that a victory. I'm sorry, Red Eyes. Trap activate, Red-Eyes Burn! When Red-Eyes is destroyed, both players take damage equal to its attack power.
Johan What!?
Judai Fubuki-san!
Fubuki Come, let us go, Fujiwara. You too are irreplaceable to me...I'm so sorry for what I've done. However, now we'll be together.
Fujiwara N-No! Nooooo!!
Judai Fubuki-san! Fubuki-saaan!
Fujiwara Fubuki, is this the darkness in your heart? You've been suffering all this time because you couldn't save me, have you?

The real game is continued from that point. Fubuki declares that he won't be defeated and won't throw away is hope. He will teach Fujiwara possibility of humans and win this duel. Fubuki hasn't finished his next words yet, but Fujiwara understands that Fubuki intends to save him from Darkness. Fubuki is surprised by how Fujiwara knows what he is going to say.

Fujiwara tells Fubuki that this should be ended. He declares the attack of Clear Vice Dragon toward Red-Eyes Black Dragon. When it attacks, it has 4800 attack points (2400*2) by its special effect. At this moment, Fubuki opens his face-down trap card, Burst Breath to sacrifice Red-Eyes Black Dragon and destroy Clear Vice Dragon.

Actually, Clear Vice Dragon should be destroyed by this play, and the game should continue for a couple turns. However, this time is different. Fujiwara says that this is the actual last turn. He activates the special effect of Clear Vice Dragon, discarding a card on his hand, Attribute Mastery, to the cemetery to negate its destruction as a result of any trap/spell/monster effect.

Thus, Burst Breath doesn't affect Clear Vice Dragon. The activation of this card becomes invalid. Seeing an eyesore, Fujiwara is annoyed and tells it to disappear. The attack of Clear Vice Dragon still goes on to destroy Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Fubuki's LP decreases to 0 (1700+2400-4800). Judai and Johan call for Fubuki loudly while Fubuki is burnt in dark flame and disappearing. The real game is over by the true defeat of Fubuki.

Note: Fujiwara lets the first game run until the end of the tie result because he wants to capture Fubuki's darkness of heart. If he had finished off Fubuki by activating the special effect of Clear Vice Dragon at the first time, he would have won but wouldn't have known what Fubuki's darkness of heart would be. It's just a foreseen vision or illusion regardless of the actual game which ends up by Fubuki's defeat.

Things turn back to normal. Judai and Johan are confronting Fujiwara and are surrounded by many Mr.T. Fujiwara asks them whether they are ready to start the final battle for destruction of the truth of the world. The solar eclipse is still continued as Mr.T is calling for the name of Darkness.

to be continued...

Judai Fubuki-San~
Johan The bond with spirits, the bond with friends, all of the bonds are thown away by Darkness...
Judai I can't forgive you. This time, I will be your opponent.
Johan

Judai, I will also fight. I will beat up the desired ultimate power of that guy by our bond.
