episode 173 summarized by Janime

At Vice Principal Chronos' office, he is checking the scores for an exam. The exam sheet has Sho name in its name field. While Vice Principal Chronos is marking a circle mark for a correct answer, all of Sho's answer texts are disappearing. Meanwhile, there is voice from Mr.T calling for Darkness everywhere around the school. Vice Principal Chronos turns around, but doesn't see any source of the voice.

Note: One question in the exam is to write Japanese Kanji of the following Katakana card names.

Vice Principal Chronos marked only the first 4 correct. However, it appears that Sho gets all 6 answers correct.

The fact that texts on Sho's exam paper disappear is because Sho has already been defeated by Sorano. Both of them are dueling in the forest, and the game is over by Sho's defeat. Sho falls onto his knees as realizing that he has already lost. Sorano smiles evilly before telling his senior to go together. Sho faces up and tries to ask who Sorano actually is. Without finishing his words, he is pulled to the world of Darkness by dark aura emerging from the ground. When Sho has gone from the world, any of his record like his name list or exam paper also disappears.

Sorano thinks that Sho is so soft that he hasn't understood by now who Sorano actually is. Meanwhile, many Sorano appear before leaving for their job. They are all around the school to duel people, defeat them, and bring them to the world of Darkness. In front of Blue dorm, there are some Blue students hanging out at the entrance. Sorano appears and challenges them into a duel with him. At the same time, he is appearing in front of Yellow and Lady Blue dorms, challenging everyone into a duel. There appear Sorano's duels everywhere on Duel Academia island.

Fubuki is sitting alone under the lighthouse and talking into a recorder about his life. When he first came to the school, there was no doubt that he was like a prince to the girls. Manjoume then walks in and asks what Fubuki is doing. Fubuki explains that he is trying to record his school life by his sound. Manjoume thinks that it's such a good idea. However, Fubuki notes a problem that he has recently been forgetting things easily.

Manjoume is surprised by that this problem also happens to Fubuki. He sits near him and explains that he can't remember the duelist he dueled, either. Fubuki hands over his notebook to Manjoume, letting him take a look on a page. Manjoume doesn't see anything written on it but a blank page. Fubuki says that those pages used to have the written name of ladies who gave him love letters.

Manjoume doubts whether Fubuki means all pages in the book. The list of the girls is totally gone. Fubuki says that how hard he tried to remember, he can't remember their names. The person who has pride as a preacher of love like him still can't remember. Manjoume's face becomes red as he is looking shy and watching Fubuki. Fubuki turns his face to Duel Academia. He believes that something must have already happened to the school.

Fubuki That certainly happened when I first came to here. I was nearly like a prince to every girls...
Manjoume What are you doing, master?
Fubuki Hey, Manjyome-Kun. It's nothing important. I'm trying to record my academy life.
Manjoume Indeed~ that's nice.
Fubuki But there is small bit of problem. My memories have been failing me recently.
Manjoume You too as well?! Actually, it's same with me! I can't even remember the name of the person I dueled.
Fubuki Take a look at this page!
Manjoume It's blank?
Fubuki That page used to contain the list of the girls who gave love letters to me.
Manjoume Eck? All of this page?
Fubuki Although I try to remember the names, I can't remember them...I who has pride as a preacher of love.
Manjoume Master~
Fubuki Something must have already happened to this school.

In front of Duel Academia, many Sorano are standing. They say that the students going against them have already become their friends. Any untrue body isn't necessary, and the school will soon be under control. Then, Sorano's appearance changes into Mr.T who is everywhere around the school. They say to focus on a person and have their friends join Darkness. Mr.T's sound calling for Darkness is everywhere. The school has already fallen into their hand, and only small number of students remains.

In the sea, Judai and Johan have been on a boat for the whole night to return to Duel Academia. Johan asks Judai whether they haven't arrived yet. Judai says that he has already made it up at full speed. He looks very concerned by what's happening to the school.

Judai is right. Inside Duel Academia, Fubuki and Manjoume are currently running away from something along the hallway. Asuka, Momoe, and Junko are in the front room, trying to call them to enter. Fubuki doubts whether the ladies are safe. Asuka tells her brother and Manjoume to hurry to get in first. They look around, see nobody else, and close the room. In this small meeting room, Manjoume realizes that only people in the room have been safe.

Fubuki understands that the remaining memory only has safe people. In other words, if they can remember anybody and he isn't in the room, he should be safe somewhere. Fubuki suggests people contact him at once. Asuka is wondering the meaning of her brother's words. Manjoume opens the door slowly and sees a group of Mr.T walking towards them. He believes that there is nobody else besides Mr.T in the school.

Fubuki thinks that they have been careless. Darkness has already started movement around the school. Fubuki says that he will hold on this way, so Asuka, Momoe, and Junko should go ahead. He explains that any of them must survive in order to inform that person. Asuka understands immediately that her brother is talking about Judai (Again, if they can remember Judai, that means Judai is still safe. Any person whom they can't remember should be brought to the world of Darkness already).

Fubuki believes that Judai must be able to do something in the situation like this. Also, he doesn't intend to lose to Mr.T. Manjoume adds that he is also her with Fubuki. Asuka is glad to hear that from them. Fubuki rushes Asuka, Momoe, and Junko to hurry to leave. Thus, three ladies run off to the back room, leaving only Fubuki and Manjoume in the room to confront Mr.T. Momoe and Junko just hope that Manjoume and Fubuki will be safe.

Three of them run into a space with dead end. At this moment, they feel shaking sound around the building. Asuka realizes that the attack from Mr.T should start already. Momoe and Junko hold each other and begin to cry with scare. Asuka tries to comfort them, telling them not to be worried because her brother and Manjoume are going to protect her.

Many Mr.T have already destroyed the door and the wall of the room where Fubuki and Manjoume are. Manjoume falls down as a seat is on his legs. Fubuki quickly pushes the seat away, asking whether Manjoume is okey. Manjoume understands that they can't count on Judai now, so he and Fubuki agree to fight to buy some time. Both of them get up and stand by their duel disks. Just as expected, Mr.T has realized that they are trying to hold here to buy some time. Manjoume doubts what Mr.T really knows.

At this moment, Fubuki and Manjoume hear scream of the three ladies coming from the back room. Fubuki hurries to run off for his sister, leaving Manjoume facing Mr.T alone. It's pity that the ladies are facing another Mr.T who has expected that Manjoume and Fubuki were trying to buy some time for these ladies to escape. Momoe and Junko have already been defeated by him and disappeared. Fubuki sees Asuka fall onto her knees, and her cards are shattered around the room. He quickly runs into his sister, but it's too late.

Asuka has already been defeated by Mr.T. Her body begins to shatter into dark aura in front of Fubuki. When she is gone, Fubuki can't remember her. He understands that he has someone to protect but he can't remember the name of Asuka. Fubuki just turns to Mr.T, yells at him, and asks what Mr.T has come here to do.

Mr.T doesn't answer but turns to Manjoume entering the room. Manjoume is holding his chest and walking in weakly. It appears that he has just been defeated by Mr.T. Again, he falls onto his knees before his body shatters and disappears in dark wind like Asuka. At this moment, Ojama Trios appear and are scared of that their master has already been defeated. Mr.T look at them unfriendly, saying that they are just eyesore and telling them to get away. Ojama Trios therefore disappear from Mr.T shortly.

When Manjoume is gone, Fubuki begins to suffer and says that he doesn't want to forget all of his important friends. Mr.T doesn't do anything to him but leaves him alone and disappears. Later, Fubuki is walking alone in the hallway and entering a classroom. It's the place where everybody has lessons together. However, he seems to forget already who else is studying together in this room.

Fubuki continues walking through the duel arena, library, and medical room. There is no shadow of anybody, and he seems to be the last man remaining at school. Fubuki tries to remember but can't think of anything. He finally comes to the main hall in front of Duel Academia's entrance.

There is a paper left on the floor. Fubuki picks it up and reads it. It states [Duel Academia Graduation Duel Mid-Way Result]. There appear Manjoume picture with ranking number 1, Asuka with number 2, and Sho with number 3. Three of them have got the highest scores while the graduation duel was running on. Suddenly, their pictures begin to disappear from the sheet one by one.

Fubuki falls onto his knees and saying that he is now alone and perhaps the last man on earth. There is nobody left for him to protect. If so, Fubuki is confused by himself why he still have feeling of anger in his mind. He has remembered this anger that his beloved persons were taken away. Although the memory of his precious persons has been taken away, his heart can't be taken.

At this moment, something on Fubuki's chest begins to shine. He takes it out, and it is the card of Darkness' mask. Meanwhile, Fubuki is hearing the voice of Manjoume calling for Master Fubuki and Asuka calling for her dear brother. The card becomes Darkness' mask. Fubuki can hear and understand that they are calling for him inside this mask. Fubuki decides to put the mask on. Suddenly, dark wind swirls before Fubuki is pulled into darkness in another dimension. His body is gone from Duel Academia. Fubuki with Darkness' mask is moving into many worlds to see his friends.

One of them is Manjoume's future world. He is standing in a pro match, but the stage doesn't look gorgeous for him. The audiences are yelling and reminding him that if Manjoume loses today, he has to retire from a pro. Nobody seems to cheer him at all.

It's currently the 8th turn, and Manjoume has 300 LP left. His opponent is someone standing in darkness, so his face can't be seen. He seems to have 1200 LP left. Manjoume has just realized that he is in the mid of the duel. Both sides don't have any monster on the field. If one is attacked by a single hit, LP can be totally wiped out. Thus, everything is attached to the draw of Manjoume.

It should be his luck because the turn is with him. Manjoume draws and gets Ojama Yellow with 0 attack point. The spirit of Ojama Yellow appears, cries, and apologizes for Manjoume that it can't be a help. It keeps on bowing Manjoume as an apology. The last card on another hand is [Reload - Quick Play Spell: Add your hand to your Deck and shuffle it. Then draw the same number of cards that you added to your deck].

Manjoume thinks that if he plays Reload, he can return Ojama Yellow to his deck, shuffle it, and draw one more card. However, he is afraid that he may get the worst monster. Hoping for another chance in the next turn, he summons [Ojama Yellow - 2/0/1000] onto the field in defense position and ends his turn. An audience shouts and asks whether Manjoume has already given up. Manjoume doesn't look confident and doubts whether this is good that he picked this choice of the two. To summon Ojama Yellow or to play Reload, he thinks that he has already got the best choice.

Meanwhile, his opponent begins to move. He draws and summons [Mad Sword Beast ~ Moushinsuru Kenkakujyuu - 4/1400/1200: When this card attacks with an ATK that is higher than the DEF of your opponent's Defense Position monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points] onto the field in attack position. Manjoume is very shocked by that it is the monster with special ability to inflict damage equal to differences to the opponent. Mad Sword Beast attacks and destroys Ojama Yellow. Manjoume also gets hit, and his LP decreases to 0 (300+1000-1400). While his body is flying and falling down, he is feeling disappointed to the result and telling himself that he doesn't want to end up here.

summary - second period
episode 173 summarized by Janime

Darkness' mask then brings Fubuki to the second choice of Manjoume. His match is rerun. Manjoume is among the audiences all depressing him. He realizes that this duel is the last chance attached by his pro career. There are Reload and Ojama Yellow on his hand. He thinks about summoning Ojama Yellow in defense position, but is afraid if his opponent can get a monster with special ability to inflict damage equal to differences.

Thus, at this time, Manjoume gets the second choice, activating Reload to return Ojama Yellow onto his deck. He shuffles it and prepares to draw a new one. Manjoume thinks that this is good enough, hoping that his deck will respond to him well. Unfortunately, the card he can get is spell card, Level Up!, which can't be useful. Manjoume is getting shocked while getting upset to this ending.

Repeatedly, his last match with depression is rerunning. The situation is the same. The audiences remind him of the last chance: if he loses, he has to retire. Manjoume is preparing to draw. He says that this is enough, asking for forgiveness.

Next is darkness of Sho. In his future world, he is sitting with Kaiser having a cough and getting sick on his bed (Although he is perfect, he has a limit). Sho is giving him a cup of water. Kaiser asks whether Sho will be fine with a new pro league (Kaiser mentioned in episode 164 that he was going to make a new pro league from the beginning and he invited Sho to go with him). Sho tells his brother not to be worried. For his brother's dream, he says that he will make it.

However, Sho doesn't look confident. He appears in a small match with small number of audiences. The host is announcing the match by introducing Sho as a duelist with Cyber Style (Without Kaiser, Sho seems to be a successor of Cyber-Style deck). Sho looks concerned by whether he can make his brother's dream come true. After all, he doesn't seem as if he can make it as he said to his brother.

The next darkness is with Asuka. It's her future career as a teacher at Duel Academia. In a classroom, she is explaining her students that she would like to become a teacher to encourage the students to keep on dueling. The students don't seem to care. They ask Asuka how the dropouts like them can do to be the top-class duelists. Asuka is afraid that she can't answer.

Just as the students have expected, their teacher doesn't seem to know even the important things like this. Asuka fails to buy respect from her students. Then, a student yells at her that the duelist with this level like her shouldn't teach. Asuka obviously looks pretty shocked and upset to the students' act.

Asuka Wait, everyone. I chose the path of a teacher to urge kids to continue dueling.
Student I That doesn't matter.
Student II Well, please explain, teacher~
Student III How can potential drop-outs like us ever become the first-class duelists?
Student IV Why don't you try to answer? Huh?
Asuka Tha... that is-
Student I Just as I expected.
Student III She can't even teach the important things.
Student IV That level of duelist...Don't try to teach!

Fubuki yells loudly under Darkness' mask after seeing the painful futures of Manjoume, Sho, and Asuka. He has already returned to the main hall of Duel Academia. As taking a deep breath and taking off the mask, Fubuki realizes that Manjoume's, Sho's, and Asuka's future hopes are taken and they face only despair. Soon, their hearts will be broken. Fubuki doubts whether this is the way of Darkness. The mask then turns back to a card while there is still Mr.T's sound calling for Darkness everywhere.

Fubuki has already made a decision. With confidence, he steps out from the main hall of the school to the front courtyard. There appear many Mr.T saying Darkness name repeatedly. Fubuki walks into the group of Mr.T. Standing in the middle spot, he calls Darkness to come out and bravely challenges him to have a settlement game. Fubuki says that he has already remembered everything about Manjoume, Sho, and Asuka. He challenges Darkness to try taking his memory completely if Darkness thinks he can.

The group of Mr.T then swirls and turns into black wind before forming into Mr.T lining up along the courtyard. They leave the courtyard area open. At the same time, another black wind swirls and forms into a man with Darkness' mask. Fubuki understands that this person is Darkness who is behind the whole story.

Darkness understands that Fubuki and his people always don't understand the truth of the world and deny his true self (darkness of their hearts). It's the limit of people who always deny everything. Darkness declares that he will be the one who makes them accept it. Fubuki stands by his duel disk, declaring loudly that he definitely won't forgive him. Darkness accepts Fubuki's challenge while raising his left arm. Then, dark wind swirls around his arm and forms into a duel disk. When both of them are ready, a duel begins.

The first turn is with Darkness. Drawing a card, he summons [Clear Phantom - 3/1200/?: {As long as this card is face-up on the field, it is not treated as a Dark Attribute. When this card is destroyed, destroy 1 of your opponent's monsters and your opponent sends 3 cards from [the top of?] his/her deck to the Cemetery.}] onto the field in attack position. Setting up a face-down card, he ends his turn.

Fubuki is amazed by the monster he has never seen before. Darkness says, "nothing can be known, existence is free of time, that's Darkness". He wants to explain that Clear Phantom doesn't have any attribute.

Note: Actually, Clear Phantom has identified Dark attribute. Its special effect just states that it doesn't have Dark attribute when faced up on the field. Animation interprets this effect in term that it doesn't have attribute so that it is related to existence of Darkness (for entertainment purpose).

The turn comes to Fubuki. He draws a card and summons [Red-Eyes Wyvern - 4/1800/1600: By removing this card in your Cemetery from the game during the End Phase of a turn in which you haven't Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Red-Eyes Black Dragon in your Cemetery] onto the field in attack position.

Clear Phantom
Monster Card
Red-Eyes Wyvern
Monster Card

Immediately, Fubuki declares the attack of Red-Eyes Wyvern to destroy Clear Phantom. This strike makes Darkness' LP down to 3400 (4000+1200-1800). Fubuki asks how Darkness feels about pain. Darkness doesn't answer but chuckles and activates the special effect of Clear Phantom.

Pieces of Clear Phantom's crystals are attached with Red-Eyes Wyvern before destroying it. As Fubuki is getting surprised, Darkness explains that if Clear Phantom is destroyed in battle, one of the opponent' monsters must be destroyed. Next, Fubuki has to discard 3 cards from the top of his deck into the cemetery.

The discarded cards are Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Dragon's Heart, and A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon. After that, Darkness opens his face-down trap card [Memory Snatcher - Continuous Trap: As long as this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot verify the cards in their Cemetery. If your opponent activates a Magic, Trap, or Monster Effect that targets their Cemetery, your opponent declares the card they've targetted. If that card is not in the Cemetery, negate the activated card's effect. (This card's controller verifies the cards.)].

As long as this card is on the field, Fubuki isn't allowed the cards in his cemetery. At the same time, Darkness activates his power. His blue eyes glow to hypnotize Fubuki. The command is to make him forget things (in the cemetery) completely. Fubuki doesn't seem to understand the meaning. Setting up a face-down card, he ends his turn.

The turn comes to Darkness. Drawing a card, he summons [Clear Rage Golem - 4/1600/1800: As long as this card is face-up on the field, it is not treated as a Dark Attribute. When this card successfully attacks directly and inflicts damage on the opponent, inflict 300 points of damage to the opponent for each card in your opponent's hand] onto the field in attack position.

Darkness declares the attack of Clear Rage Golem towards Fubuki directly. At this timing, Fubuki opens his face-down trap card [Offensive Guard - Trap: You can only activate this card when an opposing monster attacks directly. Half the attack power of that attacking monster by half only during Damage Calculations. Then, draw 1 card from your deck].

Memory Snatcher
Trap Card
Clear Rage Golem
Monster Card
Offensive Guard
Trap Card

According to the effect of this trap, the attack points of Clear Rage Golem doing direct strike have to be halved. Thus, it appears to attack Fubuki only by 800 (1600/2) attack points. This direct attack reduces Fubuki's LP to 3200 (4000-800). The effect of Offensive Guard also allows Fubuki to draw a card.

Clear Rage Golem returns to its position with original 1600 attack points. Darkness activates its special effect that if it can perform direct attack successfully, Fubuki has to receive additional damage by 300 points for each card on his hand. There are currently 3 cards on Fubuki's hand, so 3 flame balls are fired by Clear Rage Golem towards him. Fubuki's LP further decreases to 1700 (3200-300*3).

Darkness notes that too much pain and suffering were just tasted. He opens his arms widely and invites Fubuki to follow him obediently to Darkness. Fubuki holds himself as refusing that he doesn't feel any pain. Darkness doesn't like Fubuki's attitude at all. He sets up a card and ends his turn.

The turn moves to Fubuki. He draws a card and plays spell card [Swing of Reminiscence ~ Omoi De No Buranko - Spell: {Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your Graveyard to your side of the field. At the end of this turn, the monster Special Summoned by this card's effect, is destroyed.}]. This is a memorial card between him and Asuka.

Due to its effect, Fubuki is allowed to special summon a normal monster (without ability) from his cemetery onto the field. When he is about to declare the name of the monster, Darkness' eyes begin to glow with blue color. Darkness wonders what kind of monsters Fubuki is going or is able to call. Fubuki answers that it certainly has to be the monster previously sent to the cemetery by the special effect of Clear Phantom.

3 cards were sent, and one of them is a normal monster. By some reasons, the pictures of those 3 cards are blank in Fubuki's memory, and he can't remember the name of the monster to call. Darkness asks what's wrong with Fubuki. It's just his second turn. Fubuki doesn't understand himself, either. It's an important card, but he can't remember its name.

Fubuki hands over this cemetery slot, going to check the card name. Nevertheless, his hand is reflected. Darkness reminds him that Memory Snatcher doesn't allow Fubuki to verify any card in the cemetery. He even rushes Fubuki to move on as knowing well that Fubuki can't remember it. If Fubuki can't remember, activation of his spell, Swing of Reminiscence, becomes useless.

Fubuki has just realized that he was previously hypnotized to forget things completely by the power of Darkness. He gets mad at Darkness who plays this dirty trick. Darkness doesn't care Fubuki's one-way saying. He thinks that he just granted Fubuki's desire sleeping deep in the bottom of his consciousness. Fubuki looks confused and doesn't understand what Darkness means.

Darkness understands that Fubuki hates the power of Darkness that he has used before. Thus, the deck he uses is holding hatred. This made his memory gone for a long time. Fubuki looks even confused by hatred created in his own deck. Darkness says that Fubuki's essence is still Darkness after all. There is no way he can't avoid it. Thus, Darkness tells Fubuki to accept his essence and follow him to the world of Darkness. Fubuki begins to hesitate. His mind begins to do deeper into darkness of heart. Many Mr.T standing around just keeps saying Darkness name as pushing Fubuki to respond to their master.

Fubuki What a dirty trick!
Darkness It's just your saying. I just granted you your desired sleeping in the bottom of your consciousness.
Fubuki What?
Darkness You hate the power of Darkness you has used before. When you used it at that time, the deck also held hatred. That made your memory gone.
Fubuki I...
Darkness Is there any bother? The card that self creates the power of darkness. Fubuki, after all, your essence is Darkness. Come on! Accept that and come with us!
Fubuki I...Darkness...
Darkness Come on...to our world!
Mr.T Darkness...Darkness...

Fubuki begins to step out following Darkness' invitation. At this moment, Judai's voice interrupts him and stops him from moving. Judai tells Fubuki not to go, reminding him that Fubuki isn't Darkness. Seeing Judai and Johan, Darkness says that he won't let them interfere.

His blue eyes glow again, and many Mr.T line up in front of Judai and Johan to block their way. Johan tries to explain Fubuki that power of darkness originally didn't reside in a card. It's duelist's darkness of heart that dyes the card black. Judai also says that after returning from Darkness, Fubuki has used the power for justice. Thus, Fubuki is different from Darkness.

Darkness says that Judai and Johan are held on because unfortunate people can't become one with Darkness. He suggests both of them be an adult and just wait up there. Anyway, Fubuki seems to come back to his sense. He thanks Judai and Johan before turning to Darkness and declaring that he won't let both of them be his opponents. Fubuki intends to defeat Darkness here.

Fubuki looks at Swing of Reminiscence. Asuka likes this card very much. This card is the card of bond between him and Asuka and also the bond between him and his rivals. He has finally remembers the name of the card, calling [Red-Eyes Black Dragon: 7/2400/2000] from his graveyard onto the field in attack position.

Judai Don't go, Fubuki-San! You can't go. Fubuki-San isn't Darkness.
Darkness Yuki Judai, Johan Anderson, I won't let you get into this.
Johan Fubuki-San! Originally, power of darkness doesn't reside into a card. It's duelist's darkness of heart that dyes the card black.
Judai Fubuki-San who returned from Darkness uses the power by the notion of justice. He is different from you!
Darkness Yuki Judai, Johan Anderson, you are deferred because unfortunate people can't become one with Darkness. You had better act like an adult and wait there for the last time.
Fubuki Thank you, Judai-Kun, Johan-Kun. I won't let them be your opponents. I will defeat you. Swing of Reminiscence. Asuka likes this card very much. This card is the card of bond between me and Asuka. And the bond between me and rivals...I will card that card. Come on, Red-Eyes Black Dragon!

Fubuki declares its attack to destroy Clear Rage Golem at once. Darkness decreases to 2600 (3400+1600-2400). This strike also makes the mask of Darkness crack. Setting up a face-down card, Fubuki ends his turn. At this end phase, Red-Eyes Black Dragon summoned by the effect of Swing of Reminiscence must be destroyed.

Fubuki smiles as seeing his ultimate partner, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, disappearing. Anyway, he notes that he didn't call Red-Ryes Black Dragon just for a single blow. He can't forget his deck, cards, and rivals fighting together. For his important friends, he hopes that his cards will respond to him.

Fubuki activates the special effect of Red-Eyes Wyvern in the cemetery (Darkness' hypnosis no longer affects him, so he can remember cards in his graveyard). By removing it from the graveyard from play, he can special summon Red-Eyes Black Dragon from the cemetery onto the field in attack position.

At this point of time, Judai and Johan notice solar eclipse happening in the sky. Darkness with a cracked mask tells Fubuki to stop his farce. He thinks that Fubuki should be aware of his real identity very well. Certainly, Fubuki must remember this close friend who gave him the card (mask) of Darkness (episode 159). He reveals the identity of the guy in front of him loudly as Fujiwara Yusuke. While Judai and Johan are getting surprised, Fujiwara takes off Darkness' mask and reveals his identity.

to be continued...

Judai Fujiwara Yusuki? The dearly master of Honest!
Fubuki Darkness, why am I now aware of? Alive...you are still alive, Fujiwara.
Judai Fubuki-San, don't listen to what he is saying! Don't be confused by the vision of that person!
Fubuki I don't know whether I can win this duel...but....
Judai Next, [Activate, Clear World! Ferocious Negative Effect]!
Fubuki Fujiwara, thanks for beling alive. This time, I will also be with...
