episode 167 summarized by Janime

At a day, Rei and Kenzan are meeting Vice Principal Chronos in his office. They hand him a master memory of the graduation album (They first gathered the student pictures in episode 161). Vice Principal Chronos thanks the graduation album committee for this hard work. At that night, he is looking at the pictures in the memory alone in a teacher office, seeing his students have grown up adults very much. While he is seeing the pictures of Judai, Sho, and Asuka, his eyes are full of tears. He can no longer hold this feeling and cry out loud.

Rei Excuse me~
Kenzan Excuse me~ The master memory of the graduation album has been finished.
Chronos Thanks for your hard work. Because of your Graduation Album Committee, it's over for now. (Everyone has become adults. Signor Judai... Signor Asuka...Signor Sho...) Mamma Mia!

On a sunny day, Judai is laying down, looking through the sky, and thinking about something. Then, Rei and Kenzan are calling and running towards him. Judai gets up and asks whether there is something coming up. Kenzan wonders whether Judai is skipping a class again. Rei tells him that other senior students are having a trouble with Professor Chronos. Judai becomes very surprised by what they mean.

In a previous class, Professor Chronos was complaining to the students about their inappropriate behavior as senior students who would graduate soon. The students had been loosened up and not suitable for respectful Duel Academia. Thus, Professor Chronos decided to give them many practices, starting with a math test. Asuka became surprised by the sudden exam. Manjoume saw that it's an easy and basic calculation for elementary students.

Professor Chronos explained that point calculation was a basic of duel, and the students should get the basic right. Everybody certainly looks confused and surprised. Next, as Manjoume was writing Kanji (Japanese characters looking like Chinese characters), he complained and didn't understand why he had to have this writing practice now. Professor Chronos quickly appeared in front of Manjoume and explained that if Manjoume didn't know how to read Kanji, he couldn't be able to understand card effects, either.

Note: Japanese cards normally consist of Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakaga. They are all Japanese-type characters. Kanji is the most difficult one looking like Chinese characters. The character Manjoume's writing is "Ku", which means "Anguish". It's the same character that appears on Fubuki's right hand in Season III (episode 135).

Next, the students had to do push up at the gym. Sho complained and didn't get why they had to have physical exercise at this point. Professor Chronos told him that if Sho had weak body, he couldn't stand hard duel. Still looking confused, Sho finally collapsed onto the floor.

Kenzan Big Brother!
Rei Judai-Sama!
Judai Eh? What's up?
Kenzan Big Brother, you're skipping classes again?
Rei Other senior students are suffering because of Professor Chronos.
Judai Huh?
Chronos Recently, you third-years have been loosened up! It's inappropriate for students of respectful Duel Academia students to play around because you will graduate soon.
Asuka Math test?
Manjoume And it's basic calculation. Isn't it for elementary school students?
Chronos Calculation of points is a basis of duel! We have to get the basic right!
Manjoume Dam it! Why do we have to do the Kanji writing now?
Chronos If you don't know how to read Kanji, you can't understand card effects!
Sho Why are we doing physical exercise at this point?
Chronos With your weak body, you cannot have hard duel!

Judai looks very surprised after hearing those acts from Professor Chronos. As Kenzen has thought, Judai doesn't know at all what's going on now. Rei tells him that Professor Chronos has been acting like this for a week.

Many students are now gathering up in front of the classroom and seeing the closing sign. The class has been closed like this for 3 days. Nobody understands what's going on. Manjoume doubts what Vice Principal Chronos is thinking. Sho is afraid that if this class closing goes on, everyone may not be able to graduate because of insufficient credits. Thus, they decide to go and meet Professor Chronos.

Vice Principal Chronos is currently looking at the student pictures in the teacher office. When he hears coming sound of the students, he hurries to remove the memory drive from the computer and run away. The students leaded by Manjoume, Asuka, and Sho then enter the room. Asuka steps in and asks Professor Chronos for a talk. However, people become surprised by seeing nobody in the room.

Manjoume looks around and points people to see a rope hanging from the ceiling. It's obvious that Professor Chronos has just run away through this route. The students hurry to run off and go after him. Professor Chronos is running along the hallways while many students are following him and asking him to wait.

Everybody is running to the card store and seeing nobody there. Manjoume is surprised since he thinks that Professor Chronos has run to this way. Sho asks Tome at the counter whether she has seen Professor Chronos. Tome doesn't turn back but points to the other way. She says that Professor Chronos has just run to that way.

Sho thanks Tome before heading to the direction she pointed to. Suddenly, the door is open, and another Tome is walking in from that door. Tome looks surprised and asks what's going on with them. Sho is amazed by seeing another Tome, quickly turning back to the one he has just talked to. That person is actually Professor Chronos disguising as Tome. He is frightened by getting caught up, hurrying to take of Tome's wig and running away.

A Student Professor Chronos' class is still closed? What's going on? It has been like this for 3 days.
Manjoume What's Vice Principal Chronos thinking, really?
Sho If this closing goes on, everyone cannot graduate because of insufficient credits.
Asuka Professor Chronos, we have something to talk. No one's here?
Manjoume That!
Sho He ran away! Let's go after him!
Chronos Let's flee~ they're after me!
A Student There!
Asuka Professor Chronos!
Sho Please wait!
Manjoume Strange! I thought he has run to here.
Sho Tome-san. Have you seen Professor Chronos?
Tome (Chronos) Professor Chronos has gone that way-ne. He ran to that way ne~

At the principal office, Principal Samejima is working at his desk in the room. Then, he is surprised by seeing Vice Principal Chronos appearing from the floor beneath his chair following by Manjoume, Asuka, Sho, and many students. Principal Samejima doesn't understand what's going on. Seeing even Tome following people, he decides to run off and go after them.

Vice Principal Chronos runs into the duel arena while the students are going after him shortly. The students then surround him on the duel stage un till he has no way out. At the same time, Judai, Kenzan, and Rei have just arrived and joined everyone. Asuka begins conversation that people will be in a trouble if they don't have a class. Sho explains that they can't graduate with insufficient credits.

Vice Principal Chronos yells at and tells them to shut up, declaring that he can't approve their graduation. The students certainly don't understand and can't accept it. They ask him for explanation. Vice Principal Chronos doesn't give them any answer but insists his unapproved graduation. He says that he is a rule, so he has authority to do so. Manjoume doesn't understand what's going on with Vice Principal Chronos who went through all troubles for him to enter a pro. Vice Principal Chronos even strongly recommended Asuka to study oversea. He helped the students very much for their future career, but he now decides not to let them go to their goal. Sho sees that Vice Principal Chronos is currently acting like a mean teacher as he was at the first year.

Kenzan understands that when he entered the school, Professor Chronos was a good teacher. Rei agreed with Kenzan. Judai begins to act, stepping out and asking what has happened to Professor Chronos recently. Professor Chronos yells at him and calls him a dropout boy. He claims that Judai is actually the one who doesn't have enough credits to graduate at most.

Judai feels that it's such a long time he hasn't been called like that. The current place is also perfect, so he asks Professor Chronos duel him. A student asks whether this will be able to solve the problem. Manjoume and Asuka are uncertain whether Judai is serious about this. Judai turns back to his friends and tells them to leave this job on him. Seeing Judai very confident that he can win, Professor Chronos agrees to duel. He will give the students a class as they wish if Judai can win. The students cheer up with a good deal, and Judai hopes his teacher will do as promise.

Judai Professor Chronos!
Asuka Professor Chronos, everyone will in a trouble if we don't have a class.
Sho If things turn out like this, with insufficient credits, we cannot graduate.
Chronos Shut up! I don't approve your graduation.
Student What!? Please explain!
Chronos No! certainly means NO! I am a rule book!.
Manjoume What's this with Vice Principal Chronos who went into a lot of trouble for me to enter a pro?
Asuka You even strongly recommended to study oversea.
Sho It's as if he went back to be a mean teacher as he was at the first year.
Kenzan When we entered, he was a good teacher.
Rei Ummm!
Judai Well, what's all of the sudden, Professor Chronos?
Chronos Shut up! Dropout Boy! The number one who doesn't have enough credits is you, Yuki Judai!
Judai To be called like that....It's such a long time. This is exactly a good place. Please duel me!
Student !!!??? Will that be able to solve the problem?
Asuka Judai!
Manjoume Ohh!
Judai Leave this on me!
Chronos

You think that you can defeat me, right!? Ho capito! If Singor wins, I will teach in a class as you wish.

Note: Ho capito is Italian. It means "I understood".

Judai Yocha! As promise, teacher!

Judai is facing Professor Chronos on the duel stage. Everybody is cheering him around. Asuka and Sho cheer him to keep up and not to lose while Manjoume says that it will be Judai's fault if people aren't allowed to graduate. Meanwhile, Kenzan, Rei, Principal Samejima, and Tome are cheering on the other side. Most students clearly cheers Judai to win and Professor Chronos to lose.

To think about it, Judai hasn't dueled Professor Chronos since the entrance exam. As drawing the first 5 cards, he declares that he will devote and pay back the 3 years of his teacher by this duel (In other words, he will make this a gratitude duel as mentioned in the title of this episode). Professor Chronos draws the cards in response and says that he will make this be a failing duel for him. When both of them are ready, the duel starts.

The first turn is with Professor Chronos. He draws a card and gets Unfinished Time Box. Then, he summons [Antique Gear Soldier - 4/1300/1300: If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step] onto the field in defense position, sets a card, and ends his first turn.

The turn comes to Judai. Drawing a card, he plays Polymerization to fuse E-Hero Burst Lady and E-Hero Featherman on his hand into [E-Hero Flame Wingman - 6/2100/1200: This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. When this card destroys a monster and sends it to the Graveyard as a result of battle, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster].

As expected, Professor Chronos sees Judai play this stupid fusion monster as before. Judai claims that, no matter what, this is still his favorite monster forever. He declares the attack of E-Hero Flame Wingman to destroy Antique Gear Soldier. Although Professor Chronos doesn't receive battle damage, he has to receive some damage from the special effect of E-Hero Flame Wingman: to inflict damage equal to the attack points of Antique Gear Soldier to Professor Chronos. Thus, his LP has to decrease to 2700 (4000-1300).

At this moment, Professor Chronos opens his face-down trap card [Unfinished Time Box ~ Mikan No Time Box - Permanent Trap: When a monster on your side of the field is destroyed by result of battle, you can activate this card. Remove the opponent's attacking monster from the game and draw 1 card. When this card is destroyed, return the monster removed from the game back to the field by this card's effect]. He explains that this trap card can be activated only when his monster was destroyed.

According to its effect, Professor Chronos can remove E-Hero Flame Wingman from play as long as this trap card remains on the field. Thus, E-Hero Flame Wingman is locked into a box. This trap also allows Professor Chronos to draw a card. The card he gets is Antique Gear Golem. He looks at his card and chuckles before looking up to Judai.

Still in Judai's turn, he claims that he hasn't done any normal summon in this turn yet. The summon of E-Hero Flame Wingman is a fusion summon. Therefore, Judai summons [E-Hero Clayman - 4/800/2000] onto the field in defense position and ends his turn.

The turn is with Professor Chronos. Drawing a card, he plays spell card [Crazy Summon Gear - Spell: Select 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field to activate. Your opponent selects 2 monsters with the same type and level as the selected monster from their deck and Special Summons them. Then, select 1 monster with an attack power of 1500 or less from your Cemetery and Special Summon it, and then Special Summon all monsters with the same name as that monster from your deck, hand, or Cemetery in attack mode].

Unfinished Time Box
Trap Card
Crazy Summon Gear
Spell Card

This spell allows Judai to special summon 2 monsters with the same type and level as E-Hero Clayman from his deck onto the field. Judai doubts whether Professor Chronos is okey with this by giving him better chance. From his deck, he decides to special summon [E-Hero Wildman - 4/1500/1600: This monster cannot be effected by Trap Cards] in defense position and [E-Hero Sparkman - 4/1600/1400] in attack position. These two monsters have the same level 4 and warrior type as E-Hero Clayman.

Next, Crazy Summon Gear allows Professor Chronos to special summon a monster with 1500 attack points or less from his cemetery onto the field, so Antique Gear Soldier is resummoned onto the field in attack position. The last effect of this spell is to special summon all monsters with the same name as Antique Gear Soldier from his deck, graveyard, or cemetery onto the field in attack position. By this play, three Antique Gear Soldiers are now together on the field.

Magic Gear
Spell Card

At this moment, Professor Chronos plays spell card [Magic Gear - Spell: Send 3 monsters with Antique Gear in its name on your side of the field and Special Summon 1 Antique Gear Golem from your deck, regardless of Summoning Requirements. Then, you can Special Summon every Antique Gear Golem from your hand as possible, regardless of Summoning Requirements].

According to its effect, he can send 3 Antique Gear Soldiers on the field to the graveyard to special summon 1 [Antique Gear Golem - 8/3000/3000: This card cannot be Special Summoned. When this card attacks with an ATK that is higher than the DEF of a Defense Position monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step] without any summon condition from his deck onto the field in attack position.

Magic Gear also allows Professor Chronos to special summon as many Antique Gear Golem as he has on his hand onto the field regardless of summon requirement. He has two Antique Gear Golems on his hand, so they can also be special summoned by this effect (The first one was special summoned from his deck). Therefore, three Antique Gear Golem are now together on the field.

Judai looks surprised and excited by that his teacher finally did it well. The students also become very amazed by seeing three Antique Gear Golems with 3000 attack points each. They were all summoned in just a turn.

summary - second period
episode 167 summarized by Janime

Professor Chronos starts the triple attacks of 3 Antique Gear Golems to destroy E-Hero Sparkman, E-Hero Wildman, and E-Hero Clayman at once. Antique Gear Golem has the special effect of inflict damage equal to differences to the opponent even though a monster is in defense position. When E-Hero Clayman is destroyed, Judai's LP decreases to 3000 (4000+2000-3000). When E-Hero Wildman is destroyed, his LP further decreases to 1600 (3000+1600-3000). After E-Hero Sparkman is destroyed, Judai's LP goes down to 200 (1600+1600-3000). Judai falls onto his knee after such intense triple attacks. Setting a face-down card, Professor Chronos ends his turn.

Judai stands up as admiring Professor Chronos as the top teacher who showed him such a great combo for the gratitude duel. Professor Chronos' eyes turn big. He begins to dance around and says, "Shut up! For just a moment, you said gratitude! gratitude! That positive sarcasm, I hate it!". He seems to hate Judai's positive attitude very much.

The turn is now with Judai. He draws a card, playing spell card [Take Over Five - Spell: Send 5 cards from the top of your deck to the Cemetery. If this card is in your Cemetery during your next Standby Phase, by selecting a card with the same name as this card's from your deck, hand, or Cemetery and removing it from the game, you can draw 1 card from your deck. When this card is in your Cemetery, negate effects that send cards from your deck to the Cemetery by way of your own card's effect].

Due to its effect, Judai has to send 5 cards (E-Hero Necro Darkman, E-Hero Neos, N-Flare Scarab, Necro Guardna, and Hero Signal) on the top of his deck into the graveyard. Next, he plays [Miracle Contact - Spell: Return to your deck, from your side of the field or your Graveyard, monsters that are listed on a Fusion Monster Card that uses E-Hero Neos as Fusion Material, and Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster with E-Hero Neos in its name, which uses E-Hero Neos as Fusion Material, from your Fusion Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon)].

Take Over Five
Spell Card
Antique Gear Ultimate Golem
Monster Card

This spell card allows him to fuse E-Hero Neos and N-Flare Scarab in the graveyard, by sending them back to the deck, into [E-Hero Flare Neos - 7/2500/2000: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by returning the above cards on your side of the field to your Deck; then you can Special Summon this card from your Fusion Deck (You do not use Polymerization). This card gains 400 ATK for each Spell and Trap Card on the field. This card returns to the Fusion Deck during the End Phase].

Judai next equips [Instant Neospace - Equipment Spell: Equip only to a Fusion Monster that lists E-Hero Neos as a Fusion Material. The Fusion Monster equipped with this card doesn't have to activate its effect that returns it to the Fusion Deck during the End Phase. When the equipped monster is removed from the field, you can Special Summon 1 E-Hero Neos from your hand, Deck or Graveyard] with E-Hero Flare Neos.

The special effect of E-Hero Flare Neos can increase its attack points by 400 for each spell/trap card on both sides. There are trap card, Unfinished Time Box, and a face-down on Professor Chronos' field and Instant Neospace equipped with E-Hero Flare neos on Judai's field. This results in 3 spell/trap cards in total on both fields. Thus, the attack points of E-Hero Flare Neos become 3700 (2500+400*3).

At this moment, Judai declares the attack of E-Hero Flare Neos to destroy 1 Antique Gear Golem. This strike reduces Professor Chronos' LP to 2000 (2700+3000-3700), making Professor Chronos fall onto his knees. Judai explains the effect of Instant Neospace that as long as it is equipped with N-Flare Neos, N-Flare Neos doesn't have to return to the deck at his end phase as a result of its own special effect. He then ends his turn at this point.

Professor Chronos holds his hand tightly as his body begins to shake. Judai asks with concern whether his teacher is okey. Shortly, Professor Chronos faces up, cries heavily, and says that he doesn't want to be apart from his students. His act surprises Judai and all students in the arena very much. Professor Chronos reveals his true feeling that he looked at the graduation album. To think that he has to be separate from his students, he is afraid that he is unable to bear loneliness. He has just felt this by the first time.

Judai smiles after hearing the truly positive feeling from his teacher. People begin to understand Professor Chronos' feeling and why he has to do this. Anyway, Asuka notes that their time can't return. Manjoume is uncertain that this may be a trouble. Meanwhile, the other students begin to be on Professor Chronos' side and cheer him. Kenzan expresses his feeling that he doesn't want to be separate from Judai and his seniors, either. Rei agrees and says that she wants to stay with them as always. Even Principal Samejima and Tome agree with Kenzan and Rei, cheering Professor Chronos loudly.

Manjoume and Sho think that people should be kidding. The students begin to cheer Professor Chronos and support the result that Judai and his friends can't graduate. Asuka tells Judai not to lose since this duel is bet by everyone's graduation. Many students still support Judai and cheer him up. Judai understands it well, turning to his friends and telling them to leave this on him. Professor Chronos thanks many students around who support him and says that he will do his best before turning back to Judai. Judai hopes Professor Chronos is done as calling for his teacher's turn. Professor Chronos wipes out his tears as claiming that he definitely won't let this be a gratitude duel as Judai wishes.

The turn moves to Professor Chronos. Drawing a card, he plays spell card [Antique Gear Garage - Spell: Add 1 Antique Gear monster from your Graveyard to your hand1] from his hand. This card allows him to add Antique Gear Golem in the graveyard onto his hand. Next, he plays Polymerization to fuse 2 Antique Gear Golems on the field and 1 Antique Gear Golem on his hand into [Antique Gear Ultimate Golem - 10/4400/3400: When this card attacks a monster in defense mode with lower defense power than this card's attack power, inflict damage on your opponent equal to the difference. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Magic or Trap cards until the end of the Damage Step. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 Antique Gear Golem from your Cemetery, regardless of Summoning Requirements].

Antique Gear Garage
Spell Card
Miracle Contact
Spell Card

Judai is very amazed and impressed by such a great monster from the triple fusion of Antique Gear Golems. Professor Chronos tells Judai to be prepared, declaring the attack of Antique Gear Ultimate Golem towards N-Flare Neos. At this timing, Judai activates the special effect of [Necro Guardna - 3/600/1300: By removing this card in your Graveyard from play, negate 1 attack of an opponent's monster] previously sent to the cemetery by Take Over Five.

Desperate Battle
Trap Card

Removing Necro Guardna in the cemetery from play, Judai can negate the attack of Antique Gear Ultimate Golem. At this moment, Professor Chronos opens his face-down trap card [Desperate Battle - Trap: You can activate this card only during your turn's Battle Phase. Decrease the attack power of 1 monster on your side of the field by 1000 points until the end of the Battle Phase. The targeted monster, on this turn, can attack twice]. According to its effect, the attack points of Antique Gear Ultimate Golem can decrease by 1000 to do the second strike in this battle phase.

Thus, its attack points decrease to 3400 (4400-1000). Professor Chronos hopes a dropout boy like Judai can understand the current state well. When the activated trap card is destroyed, the attack points of N-Flare Scarab decreases to 3300 (2500+400*2). In other words, N-Flare Scarab can gain attack points now only from Unfinished Time Box on Professor Chronos' field and Instant Neospace equipped with N-Flare Scarab.

Professor Chronos declares the second attack of Antique Gear Ultimate Golem to destroy N-Flare Scarab. This attack reduces Judai's LP to 100 (200+3300-3400). Judai activates the effect of Instant Neospace at this timing. When the equipped monster's destroyed and sent to the cemetery, [E-Hero Neos - 7/2500/25000] can be special summoned from the deck onto the field in attack position. At the end phase, the attack points of Antique Gear Golem return to its 4400 original points, and Professor Chronos ends his turn.

The students now cheer both of them loudly. They don't care anymore whether who will win, cheering both of them to keep up. Professor Chronos sees that Judai has only 100 LP left and he has no card on hand. It's very obvious that Judai has disadvantage. Nevertheless, by some reasons, Professor Chronos is worried and feels that this game hasn't been finished yet. Judai tells his teacher that he will make compilation of everything he has had for 3 years in his next turn. Rather, Professor Chronos wants to see how Judai can change the situation.

In the last turn of Judai, he draws a card and gets The Final Land. He then activates the effect of Take Over Five in the cemetery by removing it from play in order to draw a card from his deck. Judai draws, gets [Hope of Fifth - Spell: Select 5 E-Hero Neos monsters from your Graveyard, add them to your Deck, then shuffle it. After that, draw 2 cards from your Deck. When this card is activated when there are no card on your field and you have no card in your hand, draw 3 cards instead], and activates it at once.

According to the effect of Hope of Fifth, 5 cards from the cemetery (E-Hero Featherman, E-Hero Burst Lady, E-Hero Sparkman, and E-Hero Clayman) are returned to his deck, and Judai has to shuffle it and draw 2 cards. The cards he got are N-Air Hummingbird and Cyclone Wing.

Judai normal summons [N-Air Hummingbird - 3/800/600: Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can gain 500 Life Points for each card in your opponent's hand] onto the field in attack position and immediately makes fusion contact between N-Air Hummingbird and E-Hero Neos on the field into [E-Hero Air Neos - 7/2500/2000: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by returning the above cards on your side of the field to your Deck; then you can Special Summon this card from your Fusion Deck (You do not use Polymerization). If your Life Points are lower than that of your opponent's, increase this card's ATK equal to the difference in Life Points. This card returns to the Deck at the End Phase].

Due to the special effect of E-Hero Air Neos, when Judai has lower attack points than Professor Chronos', E-Hero Air Neos' attack points can increase by the difference. Therefore, the attack points of E-Hero Air Neos go up to 4400 (2500+2000-100: Judai's LP=100, Professor Chronos' LP=2000).

Next, Judai equips [Cyclone Wing - Equipment Spell: When the monster equipped with this card attacks, you can destroy 1 Magic or Trap card on your opponent's side of the field] with E-Hero Air Neos. With its effect, when E-Hero Air Neos equipped with it attacks, 1 spell/trap card on Professor Chronos' field must be destroyed. Judai activates this effect once he declares the attack of E-Hero Air Neos towards Antique Gear Ultimate Golem.

Judai certainly selects to destroy the permanent trap card, Unfinished Time Box, asking Professor Chronos return his E-Hero Flame Wingman. E-Hero Air Neos strikes Antique Gear Ultimate Golem. Because both monsters have the same 4000 attack points, they are killed each other. Anyway, E-Hero Flame Wingman is released from Unfinished Time Box onto Judai's field.

Professor Chronos activates the special effect of Antique Gear Ultimate Golem at this moment that when it's destroyed and sent to the cemetery, Antique Gear Golem can be special summoned from the graveyard onto the field in attack position. Seeing E-Hero Flame Wingman confronting Antique Gear Golem, Judai reminds himself of his first duel with Professor Chronos (episode 1).

Judai next plays spell card [The Final Land ~ Shuuen No Ji - Quick Play Spell: You can only activate this card when a monster is Special Summoned on your opponent's side of the field. You can select a Field Magic card from your deck and activate it]. This spell can be played only when Professor Chronos special summoned a monster.

Cyclone Wing
Spell Card
The Final Land
Spell Card

The Final Land allows Judai to play a field spell card from his deck. Judai reminds himself of what he used to say to Professor Chronos in their first duel. At that time, he said that his hero needs its own battle stage. The card Judai is going to activate now is the same field spell he did in that duel, [Skyscraper - Field Spell: When a monster that includes E-Hero in its card name attacks, if its ATK is lower than the ATK of the attack target, increase the ATK of the attacking monster by 1000 points during damage calculation only].

As Judai used to say, Skyscraper is the best battle stage for his hero monsters. Many skyscrapers then emerge from the ground and surround the fields. Professor Chronos smiles. Of course, this is 1 stupid memory (One memory of Judai's stupid Hero monster) that he used to experience in his first duel with Judai. Professor Chronos thinks, "At last, I have already understood. The bitter to be separate from everyone, I myself as a teacher have learned many things from them". He is smiling as the pictures of Judai, Asuka, and Sho are pouring into his head.

The effect of Skyscraper increases the attack points of E-Hero Flame Wingman by 1000 when its original attack points are lower than the attack points of the opponent's monster. E-Hero Flame Wingman has 2100 ATK while Antique Gear Golem has 3000 ATK, so the attack points of E-Hero Flame Wingman can increase to 3100 (2100+1000). Now, Professor Chronos' eyes are full of tears while he is thinking, "I strike in this 3 year period. As a teacher, I must keep taking a new step".

Judai eventually declares the attack of E-Hero Flame Wingman to destroy Antique Gear Golem. As E-Hero Flame Wingman attacks, Professor Chronos is closing his eyes as if he has already accepted this destiny. After his Antique Gear Golem is destroyed, his LP decreases to 1900 (2000+3000-3100). Judai claims the special effect of E-Hero Flame Wingman to inflict additional damage equal to Antique Gear Golem's attack points to Professor Chronos. Thus, Professor Chronos' LP decreases to 0 (1900-3000). He sees the picture of Judai now the same as the kid he used to see in the entrance exam.

The game is over by the defeat of Professor Chronos. As he's falling onto his knee, Judai walks closer to him. Judai shows his victory sign to Professor Chronos. At the same time, all students in the duel arena stand up and show the same victory sign to their teacher. They all say together, "Gotcha!" (I win: It's the way they give respect to their teacher). Judai thanks Professor Chronos for receiving the gratitude duel. Professor Chronos can't stop his tears, standing up and crying. As a teacher, he won't forget his problem kid or dropout boy Judai. The students meanwhile applaud, call, and cheer his teacher up.

At the following day, Judai is working hard with a lot of assignment Professor Chronos gives him, asking for forgiveness. Professor Chronos says that he just keeps the promise to give a lesson to his student, so he gives Judai a lot of work. Rei and Kenzan are watching both of them behind, seeing that both Judai and Professor Chronos have already returned. Judai seems in the verge of failing, so he has to try so hard now. He feels regret that he should have taken classes properly so that he didn't have to work hard like this.
