episode 166 summarized by Janime

Edo is playing with children at a place. He then notices Mike standing nearby. Mike says that he has searched for Edo. Previously, Manjoume became Edo's assistant and learned how to be a pro through this tough job. He had to work hard to arrange busy schedule for Edo, prepared daily stuffs for him, carried many belongings, and followed Edo everywhere. Edo assigned Manjoume to clean the big card storage. This job took Manjoume a lot of time but also helped him improve his skill.

When time passed, Edo began to rely on Manjoume even more. Manjoume did better job as an assistant, working like a professional and running Edo's daily schedule smoothly. Edo decided to assign Manjoume to to take care of his important card in a suitcase. By some reason, the suitcase was missing. Edo got angry at Manjoume very much. This situation brought up a bad situation to both of them.

In a duel stadium, Edo is facing Manjoume in a black tuxedo. He says that he hates Manjoume because Manjoume's popularity keeps increase everyday. Manjoume looks calm and asks Edo what his point is. Edo challenges Manjoume into a duel. This duel is bet by that either one must retire from a pro. Both of them then start the battle until the duel stadium explodes. The scene is stopped on screen. It's actually a commercial TV. Ojama Yellow looks at the screen and says that this is totally wrong.

Edo I hate you, Manjoume. Your popularity keeps increasing everyday!
Jun What?
Edo Duel!, either I or you, one must retire!

Manjoume looks at this program, gets very mad, and throws the remote control onto the floor. He asks Mike directly for explanation about the program. Mike doesn't answer but smiles. He asks whether this program wasn't edited very well, believing that the program must make much money. Manjoume claims that Edo has to retire from a pro because of his fault.

Mike tells Manjoume not to get angry. The world wants to know the truth that Edo retired, so Mike just takes advantage of it. Manjoume changes the topic by asking whether Mike has found Edo. Mike says that he has been searching for Edo at his best, so Manjoume should leave this job on him. He even expresses his feeling that it's certainly unlucky that Edo lost the important card. However, Manjoume is just a victim, so Mike suggests Manjoume not to feel responsible for Edo. Hearing Mike saying this, Manjoume begins to calm down.

Mike takes Manjoume to look at their fans at the ground level of the building. Many fans are gathering in front of the building and cheering Manjoume. Mike tells him that even Manjoume drops a trash from here, they will enjoy and fight to get it. This is the view that only successful person can see. Manjoume looks at his fans and keeps thinking. Mike suggests Manjoume to enjoy this moment before laughing loudly and walking away.

Jun What do you mean by this program?
Mike It was edited very well, wasn't it? That could make much money.
Jun Because of my fault, Edo has to retire from a pro.
Mike Don't get angry~ The world wants to know the true reason of Edo's retirement. We just take advantage of that.
Jun Have you found Edo?
Mike We have been searching as much as we can. Leave that on me! Certainly, it's unlucky to lose the card. But you are just a victim, so you don't have to feel responsible for Edo. Look! Those people, even you drop a trash from here, they will fight to get it with rejoice. This is the view that only successful person can see. Now, enjoy it! Ha Ha Ha!

At the following day, there is [OjaManjoume Handshake Event ~ OjaManjoume Akushukai]. Manjoume in Ojama Yellow suit is standing on stage and shaking his hand with many kids in line. He thanks the kids giving him a cheer one by one but he actually doesn't look very happy.

Like Edo, Manjoume is trying to have a duel training. Nevertheless, when he draws a card, his hand gets hurt after a lot of handshake. He can't hold a card until it falls onto the floor. This should be the same feeling as Edo did. Manjoume next returns to the card storage where he normally stays. All cards in the storage have already been removed. Only blank shelves remain. Manjoume is still worried where Edo has been. He then notices a letter on the sofa, taking it up and looking very surprised.

At the following day, Manjoume finds and observes Edo playing with kids in a small school. Emeralda standing behind Manjoume tells him that Edo makes contribution to this school. For the kids, Edo doesn't want anybody to be like him. Manjoume turns back to Emeralda and realizes that she is the one who sent the letter to him to come here. Emeralda says that she just wants to let Manjoume know the truth. Manjoume looks confused by what the truth she is talking about.

Emeralda hands over Manjoume some pictures to take a look. Although there is no card picture, they can tell what's going with the card. The pictures show that Mike was sneaking into the card storage at night and taking out the suitcase. The pictures were taken by a surveillance camera at the building. Emeralda wants to tell Manjoume that Edo's card in the suitcase was actually stolen by Mike.

Manjoume looks pretty shocked and thinks that this is stupid. Emeralda tells him that he is used by Mike. Mike's real intention is to have Manjoume duel Edo. He went to meet Edo during the beginning of this episode to push him into this duel. If Edo doesn't comply, Mike will turn down this kid place where Edo makes contribution and have affection to.

Whatever Emeralda said is true. Later, Mike comes to talk to Manjoume that he wants Manjoume to duel Edo. The duel place will occur at Duel Academia. Manjoume holding Ojama Yellow doll turns his face away and looks uncertain. Mike asks what's wrong with him and whether Manjoume isn't happy that Edo was found. Manjoume replies that he's just surprised a bit.

Mike discusses with Manjoume that he would like him to take a losing dog role and be a real entertainer. Manjoume doubts whether Mike wants him to be defeated by Edo on purpose. That's absolutely what Mike wants. He thinks that Manjoume's real strength can't defeat Edo anyway. Meanwhile, Manjoume's right hand is squeezing Ojama Yellow doll very hard to release his anger, but his face still looks calm.

Manjoume replies Mike that he will comply to do so. He also understands that this duel can't go wrong, so he hopes Mike will be by his side and give him instruction at that time. Mike smiles after seeing Manjoume understand things very well and obedient to what he said.

At Duel Academia, many people are moving from the seaport to the duel arena for the special match between Edo and Manjoume. Sho and Kenzan are calling Judai at Osiris Red dorm, telling him to hurry or the game may start already. Judai walks out and yawns. He says that he will be fine and would like to pass this game, so Sho and Kenzan should go ahead.

Sho and Kenzan become surprised by that Judai is going to miss the returning match of Edo. Since Judai said so, Sho and Kenzan decide to go ahead and they will inform Judai the result later. When both of them leave, Judai yawns again and walks back to continue sleeping in his room.

When Judai lays on his bed, a shadow of a guy comes closer to Pharaoh staying on the ceiling until it groans. Judai turns himself away as closing his ears and telling Pharaoh that it's very noisy. Pharaoh then stretches the face of the guy, and there is the painful voice coming from Manjoume. Judai turns back quickly while getting surprised by seeing Manjoume here. Manjoume says that he has a request for Judai, and only Judai can help him. Judai gets up from the bed, smiles, and doubts what kind of the request is.

The duel arena is full of audiences also including non-Duel-Academia students. The host is announcing today main event of the special match between the super entertainer, OjaManjoume, and reviving Edo Phoenix. Then, Manjoume in Ojama Yellow suit jumps onto the stage and waves to everybody. People look excited to see him. At the same time, Vice Principal Chronos and Principal Samejima are watching the game in another room. Vice Principal Chronos looks happy to see his student, but Principal Samejima thinks that Manjoume is in an embarrassing look.

Edo is putting his duel disk into his arm and looks very serious. As Edo and Manjoume are facing each other on the stage and the host is stepping down, Mike is talking to both of them through an internal phone. Mike tells Edo to follow his instruction, telling him to go at his full best. Edo looks mad at Manjoume as things have turned bad like this. Both of them stand by their duel disks while the host announces the start of the confronting match between a teacher and a pupil. Then, the game begins.

The first turn is with Edo. Once he draws a card, he activates field spell [Clock Tower Prison ~ Yuugoku No Tokeitou - Field Spell: Put 1 Clock Counter on this card during each of your opponent's Standby Phases. While there are 4 or more Clock Counters on this card, the controller of this card does not receive any Battle Damage. When this card with 4 or more Clock Counters is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 D-Hero Dread Guy from your hand or Deck]. Manjoume is now surrounded by the buildings with a clock tower.

Setting up a face-down card, Edo activates spell card [D-Spirit - Spell: When there is not a monster that includes D-Hero in its card name on your side of the field, you can Special Summon 1 monster that includes D-Hero in its card name from your hand that is level 4 or less]. According to its effect, when Edo has no D-Hero monster on the field, he can special summon a D-Hero monster with level 4 or less onto the field.

D-Hero Dread Servant
Monster Card

Thus, Edo special summons [D-Hero Dread Servant - 3/400/700: When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, place 1 Clock Tower Counter on Clock Tower Prison. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Cemetery, you can destroy 1 Magic or Trap card on your side of the field] onto the field in attack position. According to the special effect of D-Hero Dread Servant, when it is successfully summoned onto the field, 1 Clock Tower Counter can be placed on Clock Tower Prison. This makes a clock hand move by a quarter or from 12.00 - 3.00 (1 Counter = 1 Quarter).

Next, Edo normal summons [D-Hero Diamond Guy - 4/1400/1600: While this card is face-up on your side of the field, once per turn you can look at the top card of your Deck. If the card is a Normal Spell Card, send it to the Graveyard and you can activate the Normal Spell Card during the Main Phase of your next turn. If the card is not a Normal Spell Card, place it on the bottom of your Deck] onto the field in attack position.

Edo activates the special effect of D-Hero Diamond Guy. In each turn, he can look at a card on the top of his deck. If it's a normal spell card, he can send it to the graveyard and activate it in the main phase of his following turn. This effect can be used in this turn, so Edo shows the card on the top of his deck. It's a normal spell card, Destiny Draw: therefore, Edo sends it to the cemetery to activate it in his next main phase. Here is the end of Edo's first turn.

The turn comes to Manjoume. When he draws a card, Edo declares the effect of Clock Tower Prison. In each of Manjoume's standby phase, 1 Clock Tower Counter is placed on Clock Tower Prison. In other words, its clock hand further moves by a quarter or from 3.00 to 6.00.

Manjoume summons [Masked Dragon - 3/1400/1100: When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster with an ATK of 1500 or less to your side of the field from you Deck. Then shuffle your Deck] onto the field in attack position. Immediately, he declares its attack towards D-Hero Diamond Guy.

Because both monsters have the same attack points, they kill each other. At this moment, Manjoume activates the special effect of Masked Dragon. When it's destroyed in battle, he can special summon a dragon-type monster with 1500 attack points or less from his deck. Thus, he summons another Masked Dragon from his deck onto the field in attack position.

Manjoume declares the attack of the second Masked Dragon towards D-Hero Dread Servant. Quickly, Edo opens his face-down trap card [Eternal Dread - Trap: Place 2 Clock Counters on a face-up Clock Tower Prison]. This card can place 2 Clock Tower Counters on Clock Tower Prison., so time can move by 2 quarters. The clock hand moves from 6.00 to 12.00 and finishes one round with 4 quarters or 4 counters.

Anyway, D-Hero Dread Servant is still destroyed by Masked Dragon. Edo activates the effect of Clock Tower Prison that when it has 4 counters, he doesn't receive any battle damage. Therefore, his LP is saved from the attack of Masked Dragon. In addition to the special effect of D-Hero Dread Servant, when it's destroyed and sent to the graveyard, it can destroy a spell or trap card on the field.

Edo certainly selects to utilize this effect to destroy Clock Tower Prison. According to the effect of Clock Tower Prison, when it with 4 counters 's destroyed, [D-Hero Dread Guy - 8/?/?: If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of Clock Tower Prison, destroy all monsters on your side of the field (except for D-Hero monsters), then you can Special Summon up to 2 D-Hero monsters from your Graveyard. During the turn this card is Special Summoned, D-Hero monsters on your side of the field cannot be destroyed, and all Battle Damage inflicted to the controller of this card becomes 0 during battle involving D-Hero monsters on your side of the field. The ATK and DEF of this card are equal to the combined original ATK of all D-Hero monsters on your side of the field (except this card)] can be special summoned from his deck onto the field in attack position.

By the special effect of D-Hero Dread Guy, D-Hero Dread Servant and D-Hero Diamond Guy can be special summoned from the graveyard onto the field in attack position. The attack points of D-Hero Dread Guy are equal to the combined attack points of D-Hero Dread Servant and D-Hero Diamond Guy or 1800 (1400+400). Manjoume sets up 3 face-down cards and ends his turn at this point.

The turn comes to Edo. Once he draws a card and moves to his main phase, he activates the effect of [Destiny Draw - Spell: Send a card that includes D-Hero in its card name in your hand to the Graveyard in order to draw 2 cards from your Deck] in the cemetery. This play is as a result of D-Hero Diamond Guy's special effect in his previous turn. Destiny Draw allows Edo to draw 2 cards. He doesn't have to discard D-Hero monster on his hand because D-Hero Diamond Guy make the normal spell card directly activated. The cards on his hand are now D-Hero Divine Guy, D-Hero Defend Guy, D-Acceleration, and D-Chain.

Edo then summons [D-Hero Divine Guy - 4/1600/1400: This card cannot be Special Summoned. When this card attacks, you can destroy 1 Equip Card on your opponent's side of the field. When you destroy an Equip Card with this card's effect, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points]. When there is one more D-Hero monster on the field, the attack points of D-Hero Dread Guy go up by that monster's attack points or to 3400 (1800+1600). Sho and Kenzan are very impressed by Edo's play. Edo looks strong as usual.

Edo declares the strike of D-Hero Dread Guy to destroy Masked Dragon. This attack reduces Manjoume's LP to 2000 (4000+1400-3400). Manjoume activates the special effect of Masked Dragon at this moment to special summon the third Masked Dragon from his deck onto the field in defense position. Edo keeps going by the next attack of D-Hero Diamond Guy (ATK 1400) to destroy Masked Dragon. Manjoume doesn't lose any LP by this attack since Masked Dragon (DEF 1100) is in defense position.

Repeatedly, Manjoume activates the special effect of Masked Dragon. At this time, he decides to special summon [Armed Dragon LV3 - 3/1200/1900: During your Standby Phase, send this face-up card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 Armed Dragon LV5 from your hand or Deck] from his deck onto the field in defense position. Edo then declares the attack of D-Hero Divine Guy to destroy Armed Dragon LV3.

Up to this point, Edo understands that Manjoume can't summon anymore dragon-type monster to protect himself, so he declares the last attack of D-Hero Dread Servant towards Manjoume directly. Manjoume receives the direct hit, so his LP decreases to 1600 (2000-400).

Direct Border
Trap Card

At this time, Manjoume opens his face-down trap card [Direct Border - Permanent Trap: Both players will negate direct attacks to the player from monsters with an attack power of 1000 or higher. A player that receives damage by a direct attack draws a card from their deck]. This card can negate direct attacks from monsters with 1000 attack points or higher. Also, the one who receives direct attack can draw a card, so Manjoume draws a card from his deck since he has just received damage from the direct attack of D-Hero Dread Servant.

Edo sets up a face-down card and ends his turn. Manjoume looks depressed by such a strength of Edo. To gain time is so hard for him.

On the cruise at the seaport, Judai is sneaking into an unlocked room. Once he enters, Emeralda hiding herself behind the door quickly tries to knock him down by her slashing hand. Judai moves faster to catch her hand, asking what she intends to do. Emeralda looks surprised by seeing Judai here. Judai asks who Emeralda is, so she introduces herself as a member of Senrigan Group.

Judai then closes the door and thinks that he and Emeralda should have the same purpose in this room of Mike. They have come here to find Edo's card Mike stole from the suitcase. Judai tells Emeralda direct that he was asked by Manjoume to do this job. Emeralda looks a bit surprised. Anyway, Judai asks whether Emerald have found the card. Emeralda shakes her head and is afraid that it isn't in this room. If it isn't here, another possibility is that Mike is keeping it with himself. Judai feels that this is troublesome and something must be done.

Note: This is the reason why Manjoume previously asked Mike stay by his side at the duel stage in order to give him instruction. He wants Mike to stay away from his room so that Judai can sneak in and search for Edo's stolen card.

At the duel arena, the duel between Edo and Manjoume is continued. It's now Manjoume's turn. Drawing a card, he summons [Ojama Yellow - 2/0/1000] onto the field in attack position. Ojama Yellow looks happy to come out but suddenly gets shocked by seeing itself in attack not defense position.

Manjoume then opens his face-down trap card [Level Soul - Trap: Sacrifice 1 monster on your side of the field to activate. Remove 1 monster with LV in its name in your Cemetery from the game and Special Summon the monster written on that card from your hand or deck, ignoring its Summoning Requirements]. He reads the effect of this card that requires a sacrifice of a monster on the field. Ojama Yellow becomes frightened by hearing that it will be the sacrificed one.

After the sacrifice, Manjoume can remove a monster with LV in his cemetery from play to special summon a monster from his deck or hand without conditions. Certainly, he sacrifices Ojama Yellow and removes Armed Dragon LV3 in his graveyard from play to special summons [Armed Dragon LV5 - 5/2400/1700: Send 1 Monster Card from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field with an ATK equal to or less than the ATK of the sent monster. During the End Phase of a turn that this card destroyed a monster as a result of battle, send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 Armed Dragon LV7 from your hand or Deck] onto the field in attack position.

Next, Manjoume plays spell card [Level Copy - Spell: {Designate 1 monster with LV in its name face-up on your side of the field that has a level of 1 to 5 as a target to activate this card. Special Summon a monster with the same name as the monster designated as a target from your hand or deck.}] that allows him to copy another Armed Dragon LV5 onto the field in attack position.

Note: Manjoume selects to special summon Armed Dragon LV5 not other levels by the effect of Level Soul in order to utilize it with Level Copy's effect. Only level 1-5 monster can be used with Level Copy.

As Edo looks surprised by seeing two Armed Dragon LV5, Manjoume declares the attack of the first Armed Dragon LV5 to destroy D-Hero Dread Servant. This strike reduces Edo's LP to 2000 (4000+400-2400). Manjoume continues by the attack of the second Armed Dragon LV5 to destroy D-Hero Diamond Guy. Edo's LP further decreases to 1000 (2000+1400-2400).

Manjoume sets up a face-down card as moving into his end phase. At this phase, he activates the special effect of Armed Dragon LV5, sending two of them to the graveyard in order to special summon two [Armed Dragon LV7 - 7/2800/1000: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of Armed Dragon LV5. Send 1 monster card from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy all face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field with an ATK equal to or less than the ATK of the sent monster] from his deck onto the field in attack position. Edo looks excited to seeing two Armed Dragon LV7. He thinks that they are worthy to be beaten.

At this moment, Mike interrupts the duel by talking through Edo's and Manjoume's phones. He tells them that the serious game with real swords should finish here, and he wants Edo to lose unsightly. Manjoume looks worried by whether Judai hasn't done searching for Edo's card yet. There isn't time left since both of them are now pushed into a corner outside the real game.

Suddenly, the light in the duel arena is turned off. While people are surprised by what's going on, Judai sneaks behind Mike and blows a bag above him. Immediately, Mike begins to laugh, dances around, and takes off his cloth before the light is turned back on. Everyone feels amused by seeing Mike's act as Judai is standing nearby. Edo is surprised by seeing Judai here, but Manjoume is glad to see that Judai has made it in time.

Judai smiles to his great job. The fact is that there are many fleas of Pharaoh in the bag he just blew. The fleas are moving around Mike's body, making him unable to stop laughing. Since Mike has already taken off his cloth, Judai can see the stolen card hung on Mike's neck. Judai takes it back from Mike and raises it up, asking Emeralda and the chairman standing on the other side whether this is the card they have searched for.

Mike becomes surprised by seeing the [Chairman Costello], the chairman of Senrigan Group here. Chairman Costello asks Mike unfriendly why Mike has this card in possession and demands his explanation. Mike can't explain anything since the incidence is very clear that he is a thief. Many securities move closer and surround Mike to arrest him. Sho and Kenzan realize that something must be happening, but nobody understands the whole situation yet.

Judai steps onto the duel stage, points to Mike, and announces the truth to everybody that Mike used the responsibility of the stolen last D card drive Edo to retire from a pro. The fact is clear that Mike is the one who stole the card. The audiences become surprised and begin to criticize that this is so cruel and the worst act.

Chairman Costello nods his head as a signal to Judai while Judai nods his head back in response. Judai calls Edo before throwing the card to him. Chairman Costello tells Edo that the card has already returned, so Edo's retirement is cancelled. Edo looks very glad as smiling to Chairman Costello.

Meanwhile, Mike is walking out with the securities. He anyway doesn't give up easily and doesn't want to fall down alone. Mike calls audiences' attention (This is a live broadcast) and says that OjaManjoume has been bluffing people as well. He turns to Manjoume and tells him to say something since they are the same.

Mike is chuckling while the audiences begin to suspect OjaManjoume. Manjoume looks uncertain and is about to say something. Judai is enough before holding Manjoume's Ojama Yellow suit and yelling at him. He doesn't believe that Manjoume has bluffed people. Manjoume just pretended to be weak despite the fact that he's pretty strong. He just wants to entertain people and make them laugh. Pretending to be weak isn't a bluff or forgery. Judai finally tells Manjoume to show people his true strength in a duel today.

The audiences agree with Judai, shouting and supporting Manjoume to show his true power. Judai looks at Mike and feels sorry to him. Although Manjoume doesn't need his dirty means, he can be a splendid star. Mike turns to Judai and looks very angry. Judai did turn his whole plan down. Listening to Judai and hearing the cheer from the audiences, Manjoume thinks seriously. He eventually accepts that he isn't OjaManjoume but Manjoume Thunder while taking off Ojama Yellow suit and showing his regular black suit.

The audiences all cheer him by his original brand name, Manjoume Thunder. Mike has to accept this defeat and walk out with the securities while Judai is holding Ojama Yellow suit and leaving the duel stage. Edo is glad that things have ended up well. From now on should be a real duel.

Mike Damn it! I can't fall down alone by myself! I will bring you with me Manjoume! Listen everyone! OjaManjoume has been swindling everyone with me up till now! That right, isn't it. Try to say something! You are same as I am.
Manjoume Certainly, I...
Judai You, what?! You swindled?? Then what is it? You were actually strong, but pretended to be weak to make everyone laugh?! Huh? But can you call pretending to be weak when you're actually strong a swindle? Then OjaManjoume. Show that you're not a fraud in today's duel! Show the truly strong you!
Audiences Yes! Show the true power, Manjoume!
Judai Even without your dirty tricks, Manjoume is a great star.
Manjoume Yes. I am not OjaManjoume! I'm! I am Manjoume Thunder!
Audiences Thunder! Thunder! Manjoume Thunder!
Edo From now on seems to be a real duel, right!
Manjoume Ah!
Edo Don't take it easy, let's go!

The game is continued, and it's now Edo's turn. He draws a card and gets D-Hero Bloo-D. He then summons [D-Defend Guy - 4/100/2700: If this card is face-up Defense Position during your opponent's Standby Phase, your opponent draws 1 card from his/her Deck] onto the field in defense position.

Sacrificing D-Hero Diehard Guy, D-Hero Divine Guy, and D-Hero Defend Guy on the field, Edo special summons [D-Hero Bloo-D - 8/1900/600: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing 3 monsters as on your side of the field. Designate 1 of your opponent's monsters and equip it to this card (this effect can only be used once per turn and you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card.) Add half the amount of the equipped monster's ATK to this card's ATK. In addition, this card gains the equipped monster's effect. When D-Force is face-up on the top of your Deck, the effects of all Effect Monsters on your opponent's side of the field are destroyed and the activation and negate and destroy the effects of Spell or Trap Cards that target a card on your side of the field] onto the field in attack position.

According to the special effect of D-Hero Bloo-D, it can equip one Armed Dragon LV7 with itself to increase its attack points by a half of Armed Dragon's LV7's attack points. Thus, the attack points of D-Hero Bloo-D become 3300 (1900+2800/2). Next, Edo activates his face-down trap card [D-Chain - Trap: After activation, this card is treated as an Equip Card, and equip it to a monster that includes D-Hero in its card name on your side of the field. The equipped monster's ATK is increased by 500 points. When the equipped monster destroys a monster your opponent controls by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict 500 points of damage to you opponent's Life Points].

This card is treated as an equipment card with D-Hero Bloo-D, increasing its attack points by 500 points or to 3800 (3300+500). At this point, Edo declares the attack of D-Hero Bloo-D to destroy the second Armed Dragon LV7. This strike reduces Manjoume's LP to 600 (1600+2800-3800). In addition, the effect of D-Chain can inflict another 500 direct damage points to Manjoume, so Manjoume's LP further decreases to 100 (600-500).

Edo hasn't done yet. He activates spell card [D-Acceleration - Quick Play Spell: This card can only be activated during your Battle Phase. Destroy all Equipment cards equipped to 1 monster with D-Hero in its name on your side of the field. On this turn, the monster with D-Hero in its name whose Equipment cards you destroyed can attack once more with its attack power cut in half] and plays it with D-Hero Bloo-D.

According to its effect, all cards equipped with D-Hero Bloo-D (Armed Dragon LV7 and D-Chain) must be destroyed. However, D-Hero Bloo-D can do one more attack in this battle phase with a half of its original attack points. Edo calls that this should be the end, declaring the attack of D-Hero Bloo-D with 950 (1900/2) attack points towards Manjoume directly.

At this moment, Manjoume opens his face-down trap card [Level Bond ~ Level No Kizuna - Trap: Your opponent draws 2 cards. Special Summon 1 monster with LV from your graveyard. Remove 2 monsters with LV in their names from your Cemetery from the game and Special Summon 1 monster with the same name as the removed monster from your deck, ignoring its Summoning Requirements. The monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot attack and have their effects negated during this turn].

Due to its effect, Edo can draw 2 cards while Manjoume can special summon a monster with LV from his cemetery. Therefore, he resummons Armed Dragon LV7 from the graveyard onto the field in attack position. By this Manjoume claims that D-Hero Bloo-D can do the direct attack by the effect of D-Acceleration.

Edo says that he still has the last D left. He plays Polymerization, fusing D-Hero Dogma Guy on his hand and D-Hero Bloo-D on the field into [Dragoon D-END - 10/3000/3000: This card cannot be destroyed by Magic, Trap, or Monster effects. Destroy 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field and deal damage to your opponent equal to half that monster's attack power. On the turn that you use this effect, monsters on your side of the field cannot conduct battle. When this card is in your Cemetery during your turn's Standby Phase, you can Special Summon it by removing a card with D-Hero in its name in your Cemetery from game]. Manjoume is getting amazed by seeing the last and ultimate D with 3000 attack points, Dragoon D-END. Edo ends his turn at this point.

Edo smiles like a winner, asking what Manjoume plans to do. The turn comes and the last chance come to Manjoume. He draws a card, sacrificing Armed Dragon LV7 to summon [Armed Dragon LV 10 - 10/3000/2000: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 1 Armed Dragon LV 7 on your side of the field. By sending 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard, destroy all face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field].

According to the special effect of Armed Dragon LV10, Manjoume discards the last card on his hand, Ojamaking, into the graveyard and he can destroy Dragoon D-END on Edo's field. However, this effect is reflected by the special effect of Dragoon D-END. Edo explains the special effect of Dragoon D-END that any spell, trap, or monster effect is negated against this monster.

Anyway, Manjoume declares the attack of Armed Dragon LV10 towards Dragoon D-END. Both of them have the same 3000 attack points, so they kill each other. Edo and Manjoume smile despite the fact that their monsters are wiped out. Edo claims that the special effect of Dragoon D-END allows him to special summon it back in his turn when he removes a D-Hero monster in his cemetery from play. There are many D-Hero monsters in Edo's graveyard, so he can resummon it at anytime in his turn.

If that's the case, Manjoume decides to end the game in this turn. He activates the effect of [Ojamaking - If this card is sent to the Cemetery while Set on the field, this card is removed from the game. When a monster on your side of the field and sent to the Cemetery, you can remove this card from the game to activate it. Special Summon 1 monster with Ojama in your Cemetery] in the cemetery. It was previously sent to the graveyard by the special effect of Armed Dragon LV10.

Due to Ojamaking's effect, Manjoume can remove it in the cemetery from game to special summon Ojama Yellow in the graveyard onto the field in attack position. Without waiting, he smiles evilly and tells Ojama Yellow to attack Edo directly. Ojama Yellow looks shocked, claiming that it has 0 attack point. Manjoume tells Ojama Yellow to trust him and says that Ojama Yellow is the ace card in his deck.

Ojama Yellow cries as feeling very happy to hear those words from Manjoume. It runs quickly to Edo and jumps over him with a punch. At this moment, Manjoume opens his face-down trap card [Pride Shout - Permanent Trap: If a monster with an attack power of 0 on your side of the field attacks your opponent directly, you can inflict damage equal to that monster's defense power on your opponent].

Ojamaking
Trap Card
Pride Shout
Trap Card

With this trap, a monster with 0 attack point attacking an opponent directly can attack by defense points. Therefore, Ojama Yellow with 0 attack points can attack Edo by its 1000 defense points. This strike reduces Edo's LP to 0 (1000-1000) exactly. As falling down, Edo says that Manjoume really gets stronger. He has already accepted Edo's strength. Ojama Yellow hardly believes that its attack will make a winning game. It calls victory loudly for Manjoume. The audiences also cheer both of them for such a great duel. Manjoume then collapses after Edo among a big call from the audiences.

Meanwhile, Principal Samejima and Vice Principal Chronos receive many calls from agents that want to make a deal with Manjoume Thunder and become his sponsor. They have already seen his strength through this live broadcast. It's such a good call for Manjoume that guarantees his future career.

At the duel arena, the audiences keep calling Manjoume Thunder. Edo first gets up and is about to walk away. When Manjoume calls him, Edo says, "Manjoume, I will return this debt in the pro world. Now, just respond to your people who support you", and walks away.

Manjoume stands up before leading people around to count, "1, 10, 100, 1000, Manjoume Thunder!".

to be continued...
