episode 161 summarized by and Janime

Rei, Kenzan, and two Blue girl/boy students are taking a picture of students around Duel Academia. They end up with Asuka sitting in a classroom and thinking about something. Rei tells Asuka to smile for a good picture. Asuka doesn't look lively, turning to ask what the picture is for. Rei explains that they are graduation album committee, so they are currently taking pictures of the students around the school to make an album. Asuka turns her face away and has just realized that it's about time for their graduation.

Rei asks Asuka smile again for good memory and takes her a new picture. Asuka turns back and tries to smile. However, Rei is afraid that Asuka's face doesn't look happy at all. Asuka feels sorry for that. Kenzan understands that many things have been going on, so Asuka may be in a tough situation and be worried about them. Asuka is afraid that it isn't like that totally. Therefore, Kenzan as a member of graduation album committee has decided to do something special for good memory of the seniors.

Rei asks what Kenzan is planning to do while Asuka is looking surprised. Kenzan declares that the committee is going to hold a graduation party. Asuka obviously looks amazed as other Blue girl/boy members of the committee agree to this good idea.

Rei Asuka-Senpai~ Now~ cheeese~ If you don't smile nicely, it isn't good, is it?
Asuka What is it? Photo?
Rei We're a graduation album committee.
Blue Girl/Boy That's right.
Asuka Graduation album? Ah, yes. It's about time.
Rei It's for memories, so make a brighter face please. Cheese~ Really... You're face is not really smiling.
Asuka Sorry.
Kenzan Oh well. There were lots of things happening, and you had to go through a lot too.
Asuka Not like that...
Kenzan

All right~ For good memories of seniors, we...juniors...are going to do some work.

Rei What are you going to do?
Kenzan Graduation Album Committee decided to hold a party.
Rei Party?
Blue Girl That's good
Blue Boy That's the best!

In front of Duel Academia, Kenzan is distributing an invitation to a duel party to three Blue ladies, Asuka, Junko, and Momoe. Junko and Momoe feel that this should be fun. Kenzan would like Asuka to join this party and ask her invite Judai to the party. Asuka doesn't understand why she has to be assigned for this job. Kenzan explains that he hasn't been able to catch Judai and take his picture. It's such a trouble.

Asuka still doesn't understand because Kenzan didn't answer her question. She just wants to know why she has to be the one to invite Judai. Kenzan tries to avoid answering, running away quickly. He just leaves his hope on Asuka to work with Judai. Junko sees that Kenzan has such a high spirit and looks very energetic. Momoe agrees and sees that the next leader of Duel Academia may have been determined already. Kenzan seems to deserve this position.

To talk about it, Asuka remembers that Junko and Momoe have a teacher examination for Duel Academia Kid's school. The examination is coming soon. Junko says that the examination is coming next month. Momoe remembers that Asuka is planning to be a researcher at Duel Academia. Asuka looks uncertain and replies that it may be. Junko sees Asuka a really honor student. Also, she is very jealous of people like Asuka who has a clear goal. Asuka turns her face down and looks worried. The fact is that she hasn't decided anything clearly yet.

Asuka Duel Party?
Kenzan After one week, at gym~
Junko Wow, a duel party~
Momoe It looks fun~
Kenzan I would like Asuka-senpai to participate~ Also, I would like to you invite Big Brother Judai as well~
Asuka Eh? Judai? Why me?
Kenzan We were unable to catch only Big Brother and even to take a shot... It's troublesome.
Asuka So, why should I...?
Kenzan Then, please take care of it.
Asuka Kenzan-kun!
Junko Looks energetic, Kenzan-Kun.
Momoe Seems that leader of Duel Academy might be him. We...the third grade students should do well too~
Asuka Thinking about it, Duel Academia Kid's school teacher examination is coming closer for you...Junko and Momoe, right?
Junko Right~ It's next month. Asuka-San will remain at Duel Academia as a researcher, right?
Asuka Ah.. yes.
Junko You indeed are an honor student~ I am really jealous of people who're sure about their goals~
Asuka Junko-San, really~

During night time at Blue dorm, Asuka is looking at her pictures with friends since the first grade. The pictures were taken with Judai, Sho, Hayato, Manjyome, Momoe, and even Junko. Looking at these pictures, she misses the old time very much. Then, Asuka reminds herself of what Principal Samejima used to talk to her in the principal room. It has been the cause of her worry since the beginning of this episode.

Principal Samejima offered Asuka an opportunity to study aboard. He had submitted a recommendation letter to a college in the north America that accepted to admit Asuka. Principal Samejima said that if Asuka wanted to, she could prepare to go at anytime. Asuka was uncertain because she had already made a decision to remain as a researcher at Duel Academia.

Vice Principal Chronos explained that this is a perfect course for the top Blue lady student like Asuka. He would like her to expand knowledge outside the school rather than study here. Asuka didn't answer that she agreed with Vice Principal Chronos totally. Principal Samejima told her that it's her choice to be a researcher or to study aboard. There was still time, so he would like her to go back and think about it carefully. Then, he expected to get her answer soon.

By now, Asuka hasn't been able to decide yet. She keeps looking the pictures and sees a picture with Judai, Sho, and Manjyome. Looking at Judai smiling in the picture, Asuka remembers that she hasn't face his face like this recently.

Asuka Time since the first year, I miss it...Eh? Studying aboard?
Principal Samejima

Yes. By my arbitrary decision, I sent a recommendation letter to Duel College in the north America. If Tenjoin-Kun wants to, they can admit you and you can prepare and go at anytime.

Asuka But I already decided to remain here at Duel Academy as a researcher...
Chronos Dabadabada~ It's perfect career for top Blue Lady student, Signore Asuka! Rather than staying here, it's better to learn as much as possible out there!
Asuka Yes... yes.
Principal Samejima Of course, being researcher or studying aboard, it's your choice. There is still time. So please think about it well and give me a good answer.
Asuka (I haven't seen this face from that guy recently.)

At the following day, Asuka is walking to Osiris Red. Stopping in front of Red dorm, she realizes well that although she comes here, she may not get an answer. Then, Rei is approaching out of Judai's room. She is holding a camera and looking for Judai. Asuka looks a bit surprised by seeing her here.

Meanwhile, Judai is fishing alone and not looking lively at all. Pharaoh is also beside him. The spirit of Teacher Daitokuji then leaves Pharaoh's mouth and sits near Judai. He asks whether it's okey for Judai to be carefree like this while some weird incidences may be able to happen at anytime. Judai explains that many Pegasus and Kagemaru are helping him. Until he gets some new information from O'Brien, he thinks that he should just wait quietly.

Teacher Daitokuji thinks that he shouldn't be much worried about Judai, so he decides to go back into Pharaoh's mouth. Right after that, Asuka and Rei have finally caught Judai. Asuka tells Judai that he hasn't been taken even a single picture for a graduation album. Judai turns away as if he isn't cared about it. Asuka is enough of Judai's act. She walks in to pull Judai's collar, forcing him to come to take a picture quickly. Judai tells her to be careful since it's dangerous and he almost falls.

Asuka (It's not like answer comes out by coming here...)
Rei Judai-Sama~ Where are you? Judai-Sama!
Asuka Rei-chan.
Daitokuji Judai-Kun~ Can you play around like this when odd incidences may happen again at anytime?
Judai President Pegasus and Uncle Kagemaru are helping me and until O'Brien brings me new information, I should wait quietly.
Daitokuji You're so well at ease. Well, I wouldn't worry so much as it's you.
Asuka He is at the place like that.
Rei Judai-Sama!
Judai Uh?
Asuka Judai. The pictures for Graduation Album...You haven't been taken even a single one.
Judai Ah, yeah.
Asuka Hey! Come over here!
Judai Baka! It's dangerous!

Asuka and Rei bring Judai to take a picture in the forest. Three of them are switching taking a picture with Judai. Anyway, Judai doesn't look cheerful or smile at all. Rei looks very happy that the pictures were taken beautifully. Asuka thinks that Rei may be lucky because she may be in the graduation album as well. Judai interrupts them shortly by saying coldly that he hopes they are done now. He then turns back and walks off without caring about the two ladies.

Asuka looks very mad. She stops Judai and claims for their relationship that has changed since the incidence in the different world. She asks Judai whether they haven't been friends fighting together for three years. Judai doesn't turn back to Asuka, neither nor answer her question. Rei then runs into Judai. She gives him an invitation to the party next, hoping him to come. Judai gets the invitation from Rei and tells her that he will go if he wants to. Then, Judai walks off alone.

Rei

We got it. They were taken beautifully.

Asuka Rei may appear in the graduation album too.
Rei Lucky~
Judai It's done now, right?
Asuka Wait. It's graduation soon, so why don't you help out more? Certainly, our relationship became bit awkward after the incidence in another world. But we're friends who have fought together in this Duel Academia for three years, haven't we? Judai...
Rei Judai-Sama~ We're having a duel party next week. Please come.
Judai If I want to.

At the party night, the gym at Duel Academia is redesigned into a party ballroom. Many students dress up as duel monsters. There is music on stage and a lot of food. Sho and Manjyome enjoy eating while Asuka is taking a picture with Momoe and Junko. Asuka turns to look at the entrance, thinking that Judai may not come. The fact is that Judai is walking very close to the gym. Just turning at the corner, he will arrive the party.

Nevertheless, Judai stops, takes out his cards, and looks at them. He reminds himself of what previously said about friends who have fought together. Then, the lights in the gym are turned off. Some lights spot to Kenzan on the stage. Kenzan announces to open the main program of this duel party. It's the pair duel tournament between the third-grade students and the lower-grade students. Everybody looks very amazed as turning to Kenzan on the stage.

Kenzan explains that people will be divided into the third-grade students and the lower-grade students. They have to make a boy-girl pair in their group for a tag duel. The rule is different. A big monitor is then set up on the stage, and a picture of a duel stage is displayed on screen. The rule is that two people must take turn in play to battle another pair. At this point, Manjyome doesn't see any different duel except for that there are 4 hands and decks. Sho notices that there is only one field, two people may need a good combination.

Asuka So, he won't come?
Judai (Friends who have fought together...)
Kenzan Then, let's start today's main program! The third-grade students versus the lower-grade students Pair Duel tournament!
Asuka Pair Duel tournament?
Kenzan Everyone is divided into the third-grade and the lower-grade students and makes a boy-girl pair, we tag duel~ Though, we'll change taste and apply a different rule. Two people will take turns to do a turn and battle another pair.
Manjyome What? It isn't different from a duel except for that there four hands and decks, is it?
Sho Well~ there is only one field, isn't it? A combination that matches with partner is required.

Manjyome understands the rule well and decides to walk off for his partner (Asuka) without waiting for the starting signal from Kenzan. Once Kenzan tells people to choose a partner and move to another duel place, most boy students approach Asuka and ask her to be a pair with them. Manjyome claims that there is only one girl who deserves to be his partner. He knees down in front of Asuka and asks her to make a pair with him.

Suddenly, Sho jumps over Manjyome and asks Asuka make a pair with him instead. Both Sho and Manjyome are arguing and competing each other for Asuka. Manjyome tells Sho who is Judai's follower to make a pair with Judai because Asuka should make a pair with him. Sho certainly doesn't want to make a pair with a guy. Asuka looks tired of them as seeing their fighting.

Junko sees that Asuka is very popular. Asuka says that she would like to go out for a little walk. As she is leaving, Momoe asks whether Asuka isn't going to join the pair duel. Asuka replies that she isn't in a mood to do so and walks out. While she is close to the exit, Judai is entering the gym. He is walking and facing down as if he is still uncertain. Both Judai and Asuka confront each other without greeting but calling each other's names.

Suddenly, the light spots both of them as Kenzan is announcing for the conclusion that Asuka has already made a pair with Judai. This should be the strongest pair of the third grade. Junko and Momoe agree that Asuka and Judai match perfectly. Manjyome and Sho are during their fight, feeling very disappointed to the result. People in the gym are clapping their hands for Asuka's pair. Judai looks confused and asks Asuka what's going on here.

Manjyome Indeed. It's more complex tag-duel. If so...
Kenzan Well~ let's choose a partner and move to the big gym where duels will take place!
Students Asuka-san!
Manjyome If there is a girl good enough for pairing up with Manjyome Thunder, there is one. Tenjoin-Kun! Please be my pair!
Sho Asuka-san! Please be my pair!
Manjyome Hey! It's me who's pairing up with Tenjoin-Kun!
Sho No, it's me!
Manjyome You...what a follower~
Sho What!? What's wrong with that!?
Manjyome You had better make a pair with Judai!
Sho Why should I pair up with a man!?
Manjyome Aren't you all in for your Big Brother?
Sho What!
Junko Asuka is popular.
Asuka I'll go out for a stroll.
Momoe Eh? Aren't you participating for a pair duel?
Asuka I am not in a mood.
Judai Ah... Asuka.
Asuka Judai.
Kenzan Hey~ Asuka-Senpai chose Big Brother Judai as a partner! Of course, the strongest pair in third year is only these two!
Junko Really~
Momoe Those two match each other~
Manjyome Nooooo waaaay~ Tenjoin-Kun...
Sho I asked first...
Judai Asuka. What is this?

summary - second period
episode 161 summarized by Janime

At the main duel hall, many students are lining up on both sides of many duel courts. One side is the third-grade seniors and the other side is the lower-grade juniors. On the senior's side, Judai is standing near Asuka while asking her why he has to make a pair with her. Asuka doesn't answer his question but says that they have never made a pair until now, so this should be a good chance. Judai doesn't seem to care. He says plainly that he just does his best in any kind of duel. Asuka seemingly looks annoyed by Judai's answer very much.

On the other side, Kenzan is making a pair with Rei. They are lining up with other junior students. Rei feels that it's boring because she wants to make a pair with Judai. Kenzan would like Rei to understand that the third-grade students can't make a pair with the the lower-grade students in this game. Meanwhile, Sho and Manjyome are watching over the duel at the upper level. They don't participate in this duel because they don't have a lady partner. As Manjyome is annoyed, Sho tries to make him understand that there are more boys than girls in Duel Academia.

People are moving into courts while Kenzan is announcing that the pairs in front of them are their pair opponents. Judai and Asuka become very amazed after seeing Principal Samejima and Tome in their court. Judai asks why both of them are on the lower-grade side. Tome explains that she wants to participate for Judai's good memory, and Principal Samejima is afraid that he can't refuse Tome's request. Anyway, Principal Samejima tells Judai and Asuka not to take it easy. Both Judai and Asuka look at each other and feel uncertain.

Sho doubts whether Tome is serious to participate. As far as he knows, Tome doesn't know how to duel. Manjyome thinks that she may be able to do it unexpectedly. Then, Kenzan announces to open the pair duel tournament. There are 12 pairs in total. Even Junko and Momoe also participate in the tournament with some Blue guys.

Judai Hey. Why should I pair up with you?
Asuka But we've never made a pair until now. Isn't it bit nice for a change?
Judai No matter what kind of duel, I just try my best.
Rei How Boring~ I would like to make a pair with Judai-Sama.
Kenzan Third-year and lower-grade students can not make a pair. I hope you understand.
Manjyome I cannot accept this. How can Manjyome Thunder be ignored?
Sho Well, there's no way. There are too many boys in Duel Academia.
Kenzan In front of you is the first duel pair!
Judai, Asuka Eh?
Asuka Principal?
Judai Tome.... Why are you two in the junior students' group?
Tome We decided to participate specially for Judai's memories.
Principal Samejima Well... since Tome said it, I couldn't say no. Don't take it easy, Judai-Kun. Tenjoin-Kun!
Sho Eh? Tome, I thought she didn't know how to duel?
Manjyome But she may be able to do it well unexpectedly.
Kenzan Then let's begin Pair Duel!

The first turn comes to Principal Samejima's team. Drawing a card, he gets Cyber Orge. Then, he plays Polymerization to fuse two Cyber Orges on his hand into [Cyber Orge-2 - 7/2600/1900: A Fusion Summon of this Monster can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. When this card would attack, increase the ATK of this card by half the ATK of this card's Attack Target]. Setting up a face-down card, he ends his turn. Asuka is impressed by the play of Principal Samejima who can summon a high-class monster in a turn.

The turn comes to Judai's team. Asuka moves first. She draws a card and gets De-Fusion. Asuka plans to let Judai use her De-Fusion in the next turn, so she had better defend in this turn. She then summons [Etoile Cyber - 4/1200/1600: If this card attacks your opponent's Life Points directly, increase the ATK of this card by 500 points during the Damage Step only] onto the field in defense position.

Asuka sets up a face-down card, which is De-Fusion, and ends her turn. She turns back to Judai and smiles as if she hopes that Judai will understand her plan. However, Judai's face looks very blank as if he doesn't care about her play at all. The turn moves to Principal Samejima's turn. Principal Samejima switches his turn to Tome. Tome moves up confidently, telling Principal Samejima to trust her.

Somehow, Tome doesn't seem to know how to start a duel. He raises her arms forward and yells to come without doing anything else. Everybody is amazed by what she is doing. Asuka explains Tome that, at the first step, she has to draw a card. Tome hasn't realized it before. Once she draws a card, looks at it, smiles, and plans to use it immediately. Then, Tome summons [Marshmellow - 3/300/500: The user of the monster that attacks this card face-down, takes 1000 points of damage after damage calculation (Damage calculation is applied normally). This card is not destroyed as a result of battle at any time] onto the field in attack position.

Everybody is shocked by such an innocent play of Tome. Tome smiles confidently and asks how her monster is. She believes that her monster is strong because it can't be destroyed in battle (She just reads the texts on the card without understanding. Actually, she should have summoned it in a defense position). Asuka claims that her Etoile Cyber has 1600 defense point. Marshmellow with only 300 attack points can't defeat it anyway. Tome becomes amazed and doubts whether her monster really can't beat it. It can't be helped, so she just ends her turn without doing anything else.

Asuka wonders why Tome didn't declare the attack of Cyber Orge-2. Tome thinks that Cyber Orge-2 belongs to Principal Samejima, so he should be the one who can use it. Asuka explains that it's the rule for this game. Anyway, Principal Samejima is very impressed by Tome's originally bold strategy but he tells her not to think about him all the time. He is holding Tome's hands as expressing his feeling to her. Tome looks shy before telling Principal Samejima not to praise her much like that. Asuka seems tried of them. As Judai is moving out and calling for his turn, Asuka tells him to take care of the rest.

Note: In this tag duel, the rule is that both sides have 4000 LP. Each person can play all cards on the same side on the field even if he or she originally doesn't own those cards. It's the duel type that depends on good combination between two partners.

In the turn of Judai's team, it's Judai's move now. He draws a card actively and similarly gets De-Fusion as Asuka did. Judai doesn't seem to care about Asuka's face-down card (De-Fusion), doubting her whether he doesn't want to use it. The cards on another hand are Polymerization, E-Hero Sparkman, E-Hero Necro Darkman, E-Hero Neos, and Hero Barrier.

Judai decides to play Polymerization, fusing E-Hero Necro Darkman and E-Hero Sparkman on his hand into [E-Hero Dark Brightman - 6/2000/1000: This card can only be Fusion Summoned. If this card attacks with an ATK that is higher than the DEF of your opponent's Defense Position monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. When this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step. When this card is destroyed, destroy one monster on your opponent's side of the field].

As Asuka has expected, Judai did play a fusion summon in his turn. He declares the attack of E-Hero Dark Brightman towards Marshmellow immediately. Tome doesn't understand why Judai declares the attack. As far as she understands, Marshmellow can't be destroyed in battle. Judai clarifies that although the monster can't be destroyed, damage has to be calculated normally.

The attack of E-Hero Dark Brightman passes Marshmellow, which can't be destroyed in battle, to Tome and Principal Samejima behind. Their LP decreases to 2300 (4000+300-2000). Ay this point, Asuka thinks that if Judai activates her face-down card, De-Fusion, he can do additional attacks and her team will obtain the victory. She doesn't see Judai care about her card, doubting what he is doing. She hopes Judai will use her face-down card quickly.

Instead of using Asuka's card, Judai surprises Asuka by playing De-Fusion on his hand to split E-Hero Dark Brightman into [E-Hero Sparkman - 4/1600/1400] and [E-Hero Necro Darkman - 5/1600/1800: While this card is in your Graveyard, you can Normal Summon 1 monster from your hand that includes E-Hero in its card name without Tributing, You can only use this effect once while this card is in the Graveyard].

Judai declares the attack of E-Hero Sparkman towards Marshmellow. The attack passes Marshmellow that can't be destroyed in battle towards Principal Samejima and Tome again. Their team's LP decreases to 1000 (2300+300-1600). Without waiting, Judai declares the next attack of E-Hero Necro Darkman towards Marshmellow. This strike seems to knock Tome down (Marshmellow represents Tome). She screams before collapsing into Principal Samejima's arms.

Principal Samejima can't forgive Judai who did this to Tome. He will let Judai pay back in the next turn. Judai is afraid that Principal Samejima may have that chance because his team's LP has already gone down to 0 (1000+300-1600) by the attack of E-Hero Necro Darkman. Principal Samejima looks very disappointed. Tome tries to comfort him that it's okey although they lost. At least, she had fun with dueling Judai. Principal Samejima doesn't mind and is okey if Tome is happy and says so. He holds Tome's hands and calls her name. Tome calls his name in response. Both of them seem to be a romantic mood.

Judai feels sorry to them before turning back and walking out. As he is passing Asuka, she interrupts him and is about to ask about her set-up card. She wants to know why Judai didn't activate it. Judai looks a her with his serious face. Seeing his face, Asuka doesn't want to continue asking. She turns her face away and tells him that there is nothing. Judai just tells her to see in the next round and walks out. He doesn't talk much with her. Asuka tries to be optimistic that Judai might see the same result by using De-Fusion on his hand and her face-down De-Fusion. Thus, he decided to activate his own card.

Many duels are continuing. There are 6 courts with 12 pairs. Junko's pair has already lost while Momoe's pair has been defeated by Kenzan and Rei. Kenzan holds his fist as a sign for the victory of his team one after another. He notices that Rei doesn't happy, so he asks what's wrong with her. Rei is looking at Judai's and Asuka's play on screen. She doesn't look happy because she wants to make a pair with Judai. Kenzan gets excited suddenly. As he has expected, Judai's and Asuka's pair has kept winning well.

Judai and Asuka are now in another round. It seems to be in the first turn of Asuka. She has [Cyber Angel Benten - 6/1800/1500: This card is Summoned by Ritual of the Machine Angel by tributing monster(s) from your side of the field and/or in your hand with a level equal to 6 or more. If this card destroys a monster as a result of battle, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to its original DEF] on the field in attack position.

Note: Anime doesn't present how Asuka can summon Cyber Angel Benten. Since this is the first turn of the game and there is only Cyber Angel Benten on Asuka's field, we can assume that she has played Ritual of the Machine Angel from her hand to sacrifice a high-class monster on her hand to summon Cyber Angel Benten onto the field.

She equips [Ritual Weapon - Equipment Spell: This card can only be equipped to a Ritual monster of Level 6 or less. Increase the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster by 1500 points] with Cyber Angel Benten, increasing its attack points to 3300 (1800+1500). Setting up a face-down card, she ends her turn (Again, this is the first turn, so she isn't allowed to attack). Kenzan and Rei are impressed by Asuka's play to summon the high-class monster with 3300 attack points merely in the first turn.

The next turn is with a Blue boy. He summons [Stone Statue of the Aztecs ~ Aztecs No Sekizou - 4/300/2000: Any Battle Damage your opponent takes when he/she attacks this monster is doubled] onto the field in defense position. He then equips it with [Mist Body - Equipment Spell: A monster equipped with this card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. (Damage calculation is applied normally)] and ends his turn at this point.

Mist Body
Spell Card
Stone Statue of the Aztecs
Monster Card

Asuka understands well that the monster equipped with Mist Body can't be destroyed in battle. Anyway, she has a plan to play against it. Her face-down card is Mystical Space Typhoon. If Judai activates it in the next turn, the troublesome Mist Body can be destroyed. Asuka smiles to her plan as going to talk to Judai who is walking pass. She would like to tell him to take care of the rest. However, Judai walks pass her quickly without listening or saying a word. Asuka looks surprised very much, wondering whether Judai is going to ignore her card again.

In Judai's turn, he draws a card and gets [N-Flare Scarab - 3/500/500: This card gains 400 ATK for each Spell and Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field], so he summons it onto the field in attack position. Next, he plays [Fake Hero - Spell: Special Summon 1 monster that includes E-Hero in its card name from your hand. The monster Special Summoned by this card' s effect cannot attack and is returned to your hand at the End Phase of the turn] to special summon [E-Hero Neos - 7/2500/2000] from his hand onto the field in attack position.

Judai declares contact fusion (Fusion without Polymerization) between N-Flare Scarab and E-Hero Neos into [E-Hero Flare Neos - 7/2500/2000: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by returning the above cards on your side of the field to your Deck; then you can Special Summon this card from your Fusion Deck (You do not use Polymerization). This card gains 400 ATK for each Spell and Trap Card on the field. This card returns to the Fusion Deck during the End Phase].

After that, Judai plays [Neo Space - Field Spell: Increase the ATK of E-Hero Neos and Fusion Monsters that have E-Hero Neos as a Fusion-Material Monster by 500 points. The Fusion Monsters that has E-Hero Neos as a Fusion Material-Monster cannot be sent back to your Fusion Deck at the End Phase], following by [H-Heat Heart - Spell: Select 1 face-up monster on your side of the field to activate this card. Increase the ATK of that monster by 500 points. During battle between that attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of that card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. These effects continue until the end of this turn].

With the combination of Neo Space and H-Heat Heart, the attack points of E-Hero Flare Neos can increase to 3500 (2500+500+500). Rei and Kenzan are impressed by the double power up with the two spell cards. Judai hasn't done yet. He plays the last spell card on his hand, [Gift of Martyr ~ Uketsukareru Chikara - Spell: Send 1 monster on your side of the field to the Graveyard. Select 1 monster on your side of the field. Increase the ATK of the selected monster by an amount equal to the ATK of the sent monster until the End Phase of the turn this card is activated].

According to its effect, he can send Cyber Angel Benten to the cemetery to increase the attack points of E-Hero Flare Neos by the original attack points of Cyber Angel Benten (Not by the attack points when Cyber Angel Benten is boosted up by Ritual Weapon). Asuka is looking shocked while seeing how Judai is treating her card. The attack points of E-Hero Flare Neos go up to 5300 (3500+1800).

By the special effect of E-Hero Flare Neos, its attack points can increase by 400 for each spell or trap card on the field. There are Mist Body, Neo Space, and Mystical Space Typhoon (Asuka's face-down card) on the field, so the attack poitns of E-Hero Flare Neos go up to 6500 (5300+400*3). Rei is very amazed by such a powerful monster. Kenzan understands that this strength along with the effect of H-Heat Heart should be sufficient for a single blow to finish off.

Judai declares the attack of E-Hero Flare Neos to destroy Stone Statue of the Aztecs immediately. Due to the effect of H-Heat Heart, although Stone Statue of the Aztecs is in defense position and can't be destroyed in battle, damages equal to the differences must be inflicted to the opponent. Thus, LP of the Blue boy's team decreases to 0 (4000+2000-6500) in merely a single strike.

Judai feels sorry to his opponents as going to walk out. As he is confronting Asuka, she he notices her getting angry. Judai asks why Asuka is mad. Asuka asks him directly what he intends to do. From what she could see, Judai didn't check or care about her face-down card at all. Besides, he sacrificed her Cyber Angel Benten powered up by the equipment spell as if it was nothing.

Judai turns his face away as answering that it should be good because they won. Asuka argues loudly that it really isn't good. This is a pair duel, so Judai should have trusted her as a partner even more. Judai doubts what Asuka is talking about. For him, he always try at his 100% best to win. He thinks that Asuka should trust him if she wants to win. Asuka is very mad after hearing those words from Judai. Judai seems not to realize yet why Asuka is very angry (She just wants Judai not to act alone but plays with her as a good pair. However, Judai seems not to care about anything but victory).

Asuka Judai!
Judai Why are you angry?
Asuka What did you intend to do? You didn't even check the card I had put down before. Benten had been powered up by the equipment spell, but you sacrificed it as if it was nothing!
Judai Well, it's done alright since we won.
Asuka Not good!!! This is Pair Duel! You should trust me more as a partner!
Judai What are you talking about? I am trying my 100% to win. So, if you trust me, then...
Asuka What!
Judai Asuka...

to be continued...

Sho Big Brother and Asuka-San, their combination is the worst. Asuka-San should have made a pair with me!
Judai The duel has been running perfectly. Asuka, what do you dislike?
Sho Big Brother, you don't understand lady's heart at all.
Judai To win is good enough, isn't it?
Sho Next, [Judai VS Asuka: Face-Down Card of Hidden Emotions]! That isn't good!
Judai Well, I haven't dueled Asuka for a long time.
