Judai
understands that the giant duelist of dark night duels by
the anti-rule. Seeing Hane Kuriboh appears, Judai trusts
it and decides to let it fight with him in this game. Judai
declares that if he is defeated, he will give Hane Kuriboh
card. He shows up the card, claiming that this rare card
was given by the duel king, Mutou Yugi. Sho is surprised
by that Judai is betting by his important and valuable card.
Hayato sees Judai become very serious, so he understands
that nobody can stop him now. The giant duelist of dark
night accepts Judai's offer following the guiding voice,
hoping that Judai won't regret later. Standing by their
duel disks, the duel between the giant duelist of dark night
and Judai begins.
First turn comes to the giant duelist of dark night. Drawing
a card, he summons Giant Orc in an attack position [Giant
Orc - 4/2200/0: When this card attacks, it changes to defense
mode at the end of the Battle Phase. Until the end of your
next turn, this card's mode can't be changed]. Sho
is amazed by the great monster with 2200 attack points summoned
in the first turn. Hayato has just realized why that guy
could beat many Obelisk Blue students. However, Judai points
out the weakness of this monster. When it attacks, it must
turn into a defense position with 0 defense point. Thus,
it doesn't seem scary as it looks. Then, the giant duelist
of dark night ends his turn.
It is now Judai's turn. He draws and gets Hane Kuriboh.
Judai intends not to give it to anyone, so he hopes it will
help him again in this game. As a result, he decides to
summon Winged Kuriboh [Winged Kuriboh
~ Hane Kuriboh – 1/300/200: When this Monster is destroyed
in Battle, all Battle Damage is reduced to 0 for this turn]
in a defense position and ends his turn.

Second Goblin
Monster Card |
Next, the giant duelist of dark night draws a card and
declares the attack of Giant Orc against Hane Kuriboh at
once. Judai thanks Hane Kuriboh for its sacrification. At
this point, Giant Orc must turn into the defense position
according to its special effect. Sho claims that this is
such a good time to beat Giant Orc. Anyway, the giant duelist
of dark night summons the monster Second Goblin in the attack
mode [Second Goblin - 1/100/100: Once
per turn during your Main Phase, you may change this card
to an Equipment card, and Equip it on 1 of your Giant Orc,
or remove it from being an Equipment card, and place it
in face-up attack mode. While this card is an Equipment
card, the Equipped Monster's mode can be changed once].
Sho is getting amazed by the monster with the equipment
ability. When this card is eqiupped with Giant Orc, Giant
Orc can change its position in a turn. In other words, in
this turn, Giant Orc eqiupped with Second Goblin can turn
back to the attack position again. As Sho is getting pity,
Hayata is impressed by the smart combo. After that, the
giant duelist of dark night ends his turn.
Come back to Judai's turn. He draws a card and plays Polymerization
[Polymerization ~ Yuukou – Magic:
Fuses 2 or more Fusion-Material Monsters to form a new Fusion
Monster] to fuse E-Hero Burst Lady [E-Hero
Burst Lady - 3/1200/800] and E-Hero Clayman [E-Hero
Clayman 4/800/2000] into E-Hero Rampart Gunner in
a defense position [E-Hero Rampart
Gunner - 6/2000/2500: This card can only be special summoned
by fusion summon. If this Monster is in defense mode, you
can attack your opponent directly. Battle Damage done by
this effect is halved]. Judai then activates its
special effect when it is in the defense mode. It can deal
damage by a half of its attack points to the opponent. As
a result, E-Hero Rampart Gunner shoots at the giant duelist
of dark night until his LP decreases to 3000 (4000-2000/2).
Suddenly,
all Obelisk Blue coats are scatter, and Ra Yellow Ohara
shows up. Everybody is getting amazed by the true appearance
of criminal as Ohara. Anyway, Judai calls out the real duelist
of dark night to duel by himself. Hayato and Sho still get
confused by the situation. Suddenly, Kohara appears from
behind rock. He is the one who has controlled Ohara to duel.
Kohara is wondering how Judai can figure out this truth.
Judai explains that Ohara seemed not to play by his real
strength. He looks like a doll played by someone. Thus,
Kohara has to accept the truth that he has been behind the
duels of Ohara. From the duel of Kohara in the afternoon,
Judai has realized that Kohara had such strong cards. However,
Sho still doesn't understand why Kohara has to do this.
Kohara doesn't understand himself either. Whenever he is
under pressure, he is usually defeated. Similarly, although
Ohara is a big guy, he is usually teased. Kohara claims
that the real bad guys are supposed to be those Obelisk
Blue students. As a result, Kohara and Ohara join together
to beat them up. Sho has just realized why Kohara duels
by the anti rule. Anyway, Judai asks whether there is some
meaning of these acts. He says that losing a game may be
mortifying. However, people have fun in a duel when they
put their hard effort.
Kohara tries to tell Judai to shut up. No matter how much
Judai claims, Kohara will win this game. Then, the game
is continued. Ohara plays under Kohara's guide. When Ohara
draws a card, Kohara tells him to summon King Goblin in
an attack position [King Goblin -
1/0/0: If there is a Demon Sub-Type Monster on your Field
other than this card, this card can't be attacked. This
card's attack and defense strengths are equal to 1000 times
the number of Demon Sub-Type Monsters on the Field, other
than this one]. Judai is getting amazed by 0 attack
point monster despite its attack mode. Discarding two warrior-type
monsters into the graveyard, Warrior Dei [Warrior
Dei Grepher ~ Senshi Dai Grepher - 4/17001/600] and
Big Shield Gardna [Big Shield Gardna
- 4/1000/2600: Negate the activation of a Magic card that
targets this 1 card while face-down. At that time, this
card changes to face-up defense mode. At the end of the
Damage Step in which this card received an attack, it changes
to attack mode], Kohara can summon specially two
Half Goblins in a defense position [Half
Goblin ~ Gobu Goblin - 3/500/500: Discard 1 Warrior Sub-Type
Monster from your hand in order to Special Summon this Monster
from your hand]. Then, Kohara activates the special
of King Goblin. Its attack and defense points can increase
by 1000 multiplied by the number of other Feind-type monsters
on the field. As a result, King Goblin consumes the attack
points from the three Feind monsters on the field, Giant
Orc and two Half Goblins, and its total attack points become
3000 (1000*3). Kohara declares the attack of King Goblin
against E-Hero Rampart Gunner in the defense position. Then,
he lets Giant Orc attack Judai directly, so Judai's LP goes
down to 1800 (4000-2200). Due to Giant Orc special effect,
it has to turn to the defense position after attacking.
Nevertheless, according to the equipment monster, Second
Goblin, Giant Orc can turn its position back to the attack
position. Then, Kohara ends his turn.
Kohara
asks whether Judai has already seen his real strength. Judai
disagrees and tells him that Kohara merely uses another
person to become strong. Thus, he can't be the true duelist
at all. It's now Judai's move. Drawing a card, he plays
Pot of Greed [Pot of Greed ~ Kou Yuku
Na Tsubo - Magic: Draw two cards from your deck]
to draw additional two cards. After that, he summons E-Hero
Sparkman [E-Hero Sparkman - 4/1600/1400]
in the attack position. Also, he equips Spark Gun [Spark
Gun - Magic: This card can only be equipped to an E-Hero
Sparkman. You can change the mode of 1 Monster on the Field.
This effect can be used more than once, but if used 3 times,
destroy this card] with E-Hero Sparkman. According
to the effect of Spark Gun, Judai lets it change the mode
of monsters by three times; change two Half Goblin into
the attack mode with 500 attack points each and change Giant
Orc to the defense mode with 0 attack point. After this
effect is activated by three times, Spark Gun is destroyed.
Then, Judai plays The Warrior Returning Alive [The
Warrior Returning Alive ~ Senshi No Seikan: Place 1 Warrior
Monster from your Cemetery into your hand] to return
a warrior-type monster, E-Hero Clayman, from his graveyard
onto his hand. He fuses E-Hero Clayman on his hand and E-Hero
Sparkman on his field into E-Hero Thunder Giant [E-Hero
Thunder Giant - 6/2400/1500: When this Monster is Summoned,
destroy 1 Monster on your opponents Field face-up with attack
strength base lower than attack strength of this Monster]
in an attack position. Once summoned, E-Hero Thunder Giant
can destroy a monster with lower attack points on the field.
Therefore, Giant Orc with its eqiupment monster, Second
Goblin, is first destroyed by this special effect. Next,
Judai declares the attack of E-Hero Thunder Giant (2400)
against Half Goblin (500). Thus, Kohara's LP goes down to
1100 (3000+500-2400).
Anyway, Kohara claims that he still has some LP left. Judai
doesn't think so, claiming that this should be the final
turn. He plays De-Fusion [De-Fusion
~ Yuukou Kaijyo: Return 1 Fusion Monster Card on the Field
to its' owner's Fusion Deck. If all the Fusion-Material
Monsters for the returned Fusion Monster Card are in the
Graveyard, they can be Special Summoned to the Field at
this time] to separate E-Hero Thunder Gaint into
H-Hero Sparkman and E-Hero Clayman normally. Judai declares
the attack of E-Hero Clayman (800) against Halk Goblin (500),
so Kohara's LP decreases to 800 (1100+500-800). Lastly,
Judai lets E-Hero Sparkman destroy King Goblin, which has
0 attack point since there is no other Feind monster left
on the field. Therefore, Kohara's LP becomes 0 (800-1600).
Kohara
accepts his defeat, telling Judai to do as he wants. Anyway,
Ohara asks Judai for the forgiveness of Kohara. He always
appreciates for what Kohara has felt and done for him for
a long time. As a result, Ohara would like to pay him back
by receiving the punishment alone. He also believes that
Kohara must become a strong duelist. Kohara knows exactly
that Ohara would like to become a game designer. Ohara,
in fact, doesn't care what will happen to him. He just wants
Kohara to be safe. Judai tells Kohara that he has such a
good friend. Although an individual strength is neccessary
for a duelist, friendship is also important. Then, Judai
decides to let them go, saying that he really enjoys the
duel as usual. Kohara tells Judai that he must be a strong
duelist in a day, and hopes that Judai will wait until that
time has come.
When
Kohara and Ohara leave, Sho reminds Judai of the duel theory
writing report following the condition of Professor Chronos.
Leaving the criminals go means that everybody has to write
the report. Judai is getting shocked since he has just remembered
it. Next day at Duel Academy, people report Professor Chronos
that there is no mysterious duelist; meanwhile, Judai and
Sho are writing a ton of theory report. Looking for the
criminal, Judai didn't find him anywhere. Certainly, Professor
Chronos doesn't believe this story. He asks how Judai will
explain about that Obelisk Blue students' rare cards were
taken. Judai tells Professor Chronos that those students
are holding their rare cards normally, so Professor Chronos
is getting surprised by what he means. Outside the school,
Obelisk Blue students are glad to see that they have got
their rare cards back. Kohara and Ohara, looking behind,
decide to return those cards to them. Although this case
can be closed happily, Judai still has to finish a ton of
his writing reports.
