The intense duel between Judai and Yubel has come to the peak point. Yubel now has 2900 LP left while Judai has only 200 LP left. Yubel is now facing E-Hero Rainbow Neos with 4500 attack points that is summoned by the fusion between Ultimate Gem God Rainbow Dragon of Johan and E-Hero Neos.

Judai explains that E-Hero Rainbow Neos has 3 special effects and he is going to activate one of them. Discarding a card from his deck into the cemetery, he can send all cards in the cemetery of Yubel back to her deck. Judai decides to discard Necro Darkman from his deck into his graveyard, causing many of Yubel's cards in the cemetery such as Sacrifice Lotus, Hate Buster, Zero Hole, Yubel, and Zero Sprite, to return to her deck.

Ojama Yellow doesn't understand the point of Judai to do this. Sho explains that if Sacrifice Lotus remains in Yubel's cemetery, Yubel can activate its special effect to use it as a sacrifice at the end of her turn to destroy E-Hero Rainbow Neos. When Sacrifice Lotus is no longer in Yubel's cemetery, there is no more concern that E-Hero Rainbow Neos will be destroyed. Ojama Yellow looks happy suddenly after understanding the logical play of Judai.

At the same time, Professor Chronos is with Johan at the top of Yubel's castle. They are looking at the dark cloud above, but still don't know how the duel has been. Gem Beast Ruby Carbuncle then appears near Johan and informs him about Judai's usage of Ultimate Gem God Rainbow Dragon. Johan is glad to hear that Judai finally made it.

Meanwhile, Winged Kuriboh appears near Judai and gives him a smile. It seems that it's communicating with Gem Beast Ruby Carbuncle about the usage of Ultimate Gem God Rainbow Dragon. If Judai can do so, he would like to show Johan the current fusion form of E-Hero Rainbow Neos and Johan's monster. Yubel is very unsatisfied, asking how Judai could use the card of such a weak duelist. She doubts whether the relationship between Judai and Johan is very strong and whether Judai loves Johan that much. It seems that his whole love now belongs to Johan not her. Yubel is describing her feeling with tears and declaring that she definitely won't forgive him.

Judai doesn't care about Yubel's feeling at all. He looks at her with such cold eyes and continues his turn. Judai discards a card, Necro Gardna, from his deck into the cemetery to activate [Arms Hole - Spell: Send the top card of your deck to the Cemetery to activate. You can select 1 Equipment Magic card from your deck and add it to your hand. On this turn, you cannot Normal Summon a monster], which allows him to add an equipment spell card from his deck onto his hand. To play this effect, he is unable to normal summon a monster in this turn.

Judai next plays the equipment spell card [Rainbow Veil - Equipment Spell: When the equiped monster battles with an opponent's monster, negate the effect of that opponent's monster during the Battle Phase only] with E-Hero Rainbow Neos and declares its attack immediately. Yubel asks whether he has already forgotten that her damage will become his damage. Judai smiles evilly and explains that, by the effect of Rainbow Veil, the effect of any monster battling against E-Hero Rainbow Neos equipped by it will be negated. Thus, Yubel - Das Abscheulich Ritter can't activate its effect to reflect her damage to Judai.

Yubel says that he can't let him do that. As E-Hero Rainbow Neos is going to attack, she activates her face-down trap card [Demon Rose - Permanent Trap: After activation, this card becomes a Equip Card to a monster on your side of the field. According to Demon Rose's effect, all damage coming to Yubel - Das Abscheulich Ritter will become 0, and she won't get any damage. She doesn't tell Judai loudly but realizes that when this card is removed from the field, the equipment monster will be destroyed. E-Hero Rainbow Neos then attacks Yubel - Das Abscheulich Ritter strongly but no damage is inflicted. Yubel chuckles and tells Judai that Demon Rose that Judai selected for her as a result of Magic Chronicle's effect has protected her. Judai obviously looks mad by the chance he gave to Yubel. Ojama Yellow feels pity to the change to deal damage to Yubel. Sho is afraid that nobody can hurt her because she has such an impregnable protection. Judai can't do anything else but end his turn at this point.

The come moves to Yubel. She draws a card and activates the special effect of Magic Chronicle. Two Chronicle Counters were placed on it previously because Judai played two spell cards, Arms Hole and Rainbow Veil. Therefore, he has to select one of the remaining removed cards to be added back onto Yubel's hand. Yubel calls that the remaining cards are Mystical Space Typhoon, Super Fusion, and Torch Golem. Judai decides to select Mystical Space Typhoon for her.

As Judai wishes, Yubel decides immediately to use [Mystical Space Typhoon - Cyclone - Quick Play Spell: Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field] Judai has just given her. Due to its effect, Rainbow Veil equipped with E-Hero Rainbow Neos is destroyed. Yubel claims that her monster's effect can be working now. Seeing Judai have only 200 LP left, she doesn't want to end up like this. Anyway, she has no other choice but this way to make Judai belong to her. Removing Necro Gardna in the cemetery from play, he can negate the attack of Yubel - Das Abscheulich Ritter.

Note: Anime's scenes present that all monsters attack Yubel's monsters and Yubel's monsters never attack. It's because anime wants to present that the opponent's monsters are forced to attack Yubel's monsters and her battle damage is reflected battle to the opponent due to the special effect of Yubel's monsters. It doesn't mean that her monsters never attack in her battle phase.

Yubel sees that Judai doesn't resign readily himself to fate of a loser, ending her turn at this point. Judai tells her that he believes in the power of his friends, so he won't give up until the very end. That's what a duel is. In Judai's turn, he draws a card and activates [Hope of Fifth - Spell:  Select 5 E-Hero monsters from your Graveyard, add them to your Deck, then shuffle it. After that, draw 2 cards from your Deck. When this card is activated when there are no card on your field and you have no card in your hand, draw 3 cards instead]. By its effect, Judai calls to revive his monsters in the cemetery.

5 monsters (E-Hero Sparkman/Featherman/Burst Lady/Neos/Prismer) are selected from his cemetery and returned to his deck. Then, Judai has to shuffle the deck and draw two cards. Yubel claims that because Judai has just played a spell card, one Chronicle Counter is placed on Magic Chronicle.

Judai next normal summons [E-Hero Clayman - 4/800/2000] onto the field in defense position. At this moment, he activates the second special effect of E-Hero Rainbow Neos. Sending E-Hero Clayman onto the field into the cemetery, he can return Yubel - Das Abscheulich Ritter onto her hand. Judai certainly becomes stunned by the appearance of this ultimate monster that has the same large size as E-Hero Rainbow Neos'.

Yubel reminds Judai that she can't be destroyed in battle as showing her ultimate third form. Similar to the effect of her previous forms, the effect of this current form reduces her battle damage to 0 and inflict the same battle damage to Judai. Any monster that battles this monster will also be destroyed. Yubel explains these effects by her male-side voice. Sho and Ojama Yellow become worried about Judai, seeing that he seems unable to win. Judai also looks worried before setting up a face-down card and ending his turn.

Note: From this point on, Yubel keeps talking by her male-side voice.

The turn comes to Yubel. When she draws a card, she says that she will send Judai to a very far-away dimension where nobody can reach him. There, she will protect his sleep for eternity.

Then, Yubel declares the attack of Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen. The eyes on her monster begin to glow as she is telling E-Hero Rainbow Neos to come in and make Judai rest in peace. This trap card reduces the attack points of E-Hero Rainbow Neos to 0. Because it has the same 0 attack point as Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen's, no damage is calculated. Nevertheless, E-Hero Rainbow Neos is disappearing. Ojama Yellow is getting surprised by what's going on with E-Hero Rainbow Neos. Sho explains that, by the effect of Alchemy Cycle, the targeted monster, Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen, wasn't destroyed, but E-Hero Rainbow Neos had to be removed from play.

Judai is closing his eyes after his monster is gone. Yubel doubts whether it's Judai's strategy to reduce his damage to 0 by sacrificing his monster. Seeing him sacrifice E-Hero Rainbow Neos for his sake, she admires Judai as good Supreme King. Judai just says that how many times or again Yubel lost a decisive chance to defeat him. Yubel isn't certain what Judai intends to say. Judai asks her directly whether she is scared of him. Yubel asks him back why she has to be scared of the person who can merely protect the little remainder of LP.

Since Yubel asks him for a reason, Judai smiles evilly and replies that it's because he is Supreme King. Yubel is scared of Judai who is now actually Supreme King by heart and soul. No matter what kind of her attack, he will finally win. He may be right. Yubel at this moment looks a bit scared of Judai's strong and cold feeling of Supreme King.

Yubel The strategy to sacrifice your own monster to reduce your battle damage to 0...to sacrifice Rainbow Neos like that, you are Supreme King as expected.

According to the effect of Alchemy Cycle, when his monster was removed from play, he can draw a card. At Yubel's end phase, she sets up a face-down card and ends the turn at this point.

Drawing a card, she doubts whether Judai can win as he has just claimed. She thinks that even Supreme King Judai can't make it. Although she admires Judai who has been survived until now, this should be the actual ending.

Yubel declares the flame attack of Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen to E-Hero Neos. Showering this flame, she expects E-Hero Neos to counter strike so that her battle damage can be reflected to Judai. It's the first time that Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen shoots its fire attack towards Judai's monster (Again, when Yubel declares an attack, Judai's monsters are normally forced to attack her monsters. While Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen is burning E-Hero Neos and E-Hero Neos is about to strike back, Judai opens his face-down spell card [Mirage Cylinder - Quick Play Spell: Negate an opponent's monster's attack and inflict damage to the opponent equal to the attack power of the monster that was targeted with the attack]. According to its effect, Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen's attack is negated while the damage equal to the attack points of E-Hero Neos is inflicted to Yubel. E-Hero Neos still burning in flame jumps up to counter attack Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen. Yubel's LP decreases to 400 (2900-2500) at this point. Normally, Yubel can't be hurt by her special effect but she can hurt the others. Thus, she has never received anybody's love since she has never been hurt. Meanwhile, the cloud begins to swirl largely and cover the whole battle field. Sho and Ojama Yellow are unable to see anything. As Judai is wondering what's happening, he finds that his spirit is drawn back to his past life. In front of him is a big castle standing on the top of a mountain surrounding by a city close to the sea. At a deck of the castle, there appear a young boy and an old man talking to each other. Judai can hear them what they are talking clearly but they seem unable to see him.

The old man appears to be the king of this country. He calls the young boy "Yubel" and tells him to listen carefully. There is no doubt that this young boy is the past life of Yubel. The king begins the story that once the universe was born from nothing, it was divided into darkness and light. Light later disappeared while darkness remained, covered the entire universe, and raised up many lives. However, the light of destruction that holds overwhelming power may start shining again to invade the kind darkness. When that time comes, the power to protect the kind darkness and make the wave of light retreat is necessary.

The king turns to Yubel as the young boy is responding to follow up with the story. He continues the story that Yubel's friend was born with mighty Supreme King power in his heart. That power will be able to save the universe by wrapping it with the kind darkness. However, until that boy grows to become an adult, someone needs to protect him. Yubel responds quickly, asking the king assign this role to him. The king explains that, if Yubel wants to do so, he has to be equipped by the armor of hard scale that can't be harmed by anyone and finally become an hideous and unsightly dragon. Yubel confirms that he doesn't care about his appearance as long as he is able to protect that boy.

Note: The armor of hard scale that can't be hurt by anyone becomes the special effect of Yubel that can't be inflicted by battle damage and can return the battle damage to the opponent. Also, a dragon normally has such a strong and hard skin that is a perfect form to be an armored monster.

To think about it, Judai remembers what N-Aqua Dolphin used to tell me about the universe (episode 62). It said that the universe was the world of kind darkness that raised up many lives. Nevertheless, it was about to destroyed by the light of destruction. At that time, they were looking for the one who held the power of the right darkness to fight that light. The arrow of the white feather finally leaded them to Judai.

Judai has just realized that the one who holds the power of the right darkness is actually Supreme King. Then, the scenes around him change into a dark room. Young Yubel is laying on a table with three people around him. They are turning him into the dragon that the king previously talked about. Yubel's eyes are closed by a sheet as he is groaning in pain. Those men are operating his eyes (The dragon form of Yubel has different eyes' colors) and his entire body. Judai can't stand seeing this picture until he has to close his own eyes.

Meanwhile, the young king approaches into the room, calling for Yubel. Judai looks at the young king and gets stunned. As the young king is running through him to Yubel, Judai finally remembers that this young king is actually himself. This whole world had been the past lives of him and Yubel before he was born in the current world.

Judai Thinking about it, at that time!!
N-Aqua Dolphin The universe is the world of kind darkness that raises up many lives. But, the universe now is about to destroyed by the light of destruction. We are looking for the person who obtains the power of right darkness to fight that light. The arrow of the white feather leads to you.

Judai I see. I remember now. This was the world I had lived before I was born. The former lives of me and Yubel.

At the sunset, the young king is holding Yubel's hand. Yubel has already been transformed into the dragon and his voice also changes into female voice. The young king feels very sorry to her to become this form in order to protect him. Yubel says that she doesn't mind. It's her job to protect him until he grows from a boy to a man. The young king gives her a promise that he will belong to her. No matter what people may say, he will love only her. He is crying as making this promise. Judai looks at his past life and eventually remembers what happened before between him and Yubel. Everything Yubel told me is right. He is the one who forgot everything. This memory brings him back to his normal form, and he is no longer in Supreme King form.

At the duel field, the duel place is covered by largely swirling cloud. Sho and Ojama Yellow can't see anything and even don't know how Judai is. As Sho is getting worried about Judai, he sees the picture of Judai inside the swirling cloud. Judai is closing his eyes as if he has already made an important decision.

Judai tells Sho that everyone will definitely be returned to the original world. When Sho can meet everyone, he would like him to tell people that he is very sorry for causing such a trouble. Sho understands everything shortly, telling Judai not to sacrifice himself no matter what happens. Judai corrects him that he isn't going to sacrifice himself for everyone but just wants to have a journey to become a man from a kid (This is to follow his promise with Yubel). As Sho is getting surprised, Judai doesn't say anything else. He smiles, shows his victory sign, and says his last favorite words "Gotcha" (I won) before his body glows brightly and shatters.

The swirling cloud also glows brightly as spreading out. Ojama Yellow doesn't understand at all what's going on. Sho begins to cry. He would like everyone to return together and doesn't want to go back without Judai. He cries and yells loudly, asking for Judai's response. Meanwhile, his Doubt text appears on his left cheek and then shatters. It presents that Sho no longer has any doubt on Judai when he has returned to call him "Big Brother". It may be too late because Judai has already gone.

Note: Since Manjyome, Asuka, Kenzan, and Fubuki disappeared, Sho has had doubt on Judai. He has never called Judai "Big Brother" since then. When he decided to watch over Judai's destiny and kept following him, he just called Judai's first name without Big Brother prefix. That's because Sho still has doubt on Judai. His Doubt text therefore appears on his left cheek from time to time. At this point, Sho can finally eliminate his doubt on Judai by returning to give him respect and calling him "Big Brother", so his Doubt text is shattered.

Inside the swirling cloud is another dimension. It's still in the mid of the duel between Judai and Yubel. Judai looks very calm as standing along with his E-Hero Neos. He tries to wake her up and asks whether she is okey. Yubel faces up after realizing that Judai previously attacked her until her LP decreased to 400. She is very upset to his act despite the fact that she loves him very much.

Note: From this point on, Yubel turns to talk by her make voice.

Yubel claims that Judai previously played Mirage Cylinder. This creates the second Chronicle Counter on Magic Chronicle (The first one was placed when Hope of Fifth was played). Yubel activates the effect of Magic Chronicle, showing the two remaining removed cards that Judai has to select for her. There are Torch Golem and Super Fusion left. She rushes him to choose one, expecting him to choose Torch Golem.

Ojama Yellow doubts what's going on, but Sho seems to be more worried about Judai. Professor Chronos and Johan can see the unusual shooting fires. Professor Chronos wonders what's is happening while Johan is getting concerned more about Judai as Sho is.

Level 12: Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen

The shooting fire falls through the dimension where Supreme King's castle is located. When it passes, Supreme King's castle collapses and falls into lava. On the other side, Misawa and Taniya notice the shooting fire in the desert area. Another shooting fire falls to the original world. Once it passes Duel Academia, the mirror in Principal's room cracks and the entire room shakes. Principal Samejima notices that something is happening. At the same time, Dr. Zweinstein notices the 12 signals spreading out towards 12 dimensions on the radar. He realizes that something bad is happening.

The origin of these 12 shooting fires come from the top above Yubel's castle that is collapsing. Yubel is laughing loudly as activating this tremendous power to fuse and destroy 12 dimensions. She claims that everything will be ended and she will be able to own Judai's love alone for eternity. Judai doesn't argue but accepts her feeling calmly. Yubel becomes surprised as seeing the retreat of her card activation. She doesn't understand what's going on.
Spiritual Fusion
Trap Card

Judai explains that the things which will be fused aren't the 12 dimensions but his and her souls. Yubel still looks confused before Judai opens his face-down trap card [Spiritual Fusion - Trap: {During this turn, the player that activated this card can choose a Fusion Material monster used for a Fusion Summon.}]. Yubel thinks that Spiritual Fusion shouldn't work with Super Fusion that can't be affected by any card's effect. Judai corrects her that he uses it against her Chain Material not Super Fusion. According to its effect, he can choose a fusion material monster used for her fusion summon.

Judai looks very kind to her at this moment and tells her to end the journey of sad soul here. He opens his arms and encourages her to come to him. Yubel sees the young king picture over Judai. Judai is now her king that she used to swear to protect by her life. The picture of the young king flies over Yubel and tells her that the real enemy they have to fight against is the wave of light leading the universe to destruction. If she can shake of the wave of light that is affecting Yubel now, Supreme King Judai's soul will be with her forever. Judai convinces her that he doesn't care if that means he will lose his current existence.

Judai then activates the final power of Super Fusion as the pictures of his friends are pouring into his head. He declares to fuse his and Yubel's souls together. Super Fusion fuses their hearts together and that's the end of Judai. He is swallowed into the fusion process, leaving by the last scream.

The body without soul of Judai falls into the arms of Yubel. She tells him that their hearts have become one and they won't be separate anymore. Her body is glowing with Judai still in her arms. She is now filled by the power of Judai's love and ready to fight along with him against the wave of light leading the world to destruction. Then, the body of them fly up into the sky and disappear (The journey of Judai to fight against the wave of light will continue in Season IV).

Judai Come Yubel! The journey of sad soul has reached the end. Let's end this... now... come!
The Young King Something we have to fight is the wave of light that is leading this universe to destruction. By shaking off the wave of light that has affected your soul, Supreme King Judai's soul will be to you.
Judai Even if that means I will lose my existence, I don't care. I activate Super Fusion! My soul and Yubel's soul, become one!
Yubel Judai... Judai! Two souls become one, and it won't be separated anymore. I am filled by the power of your love right now...Let's fight together! Against the wave of Light that will lead this universe to destruction!

The sky then becomes very bright before the light spreads out, releases people from the sealed dimension, and sends everybody home. At Duel Academia, the students notices something happening outside the school and runs out. They run into the forest where the light fell down and stop at the ancient ruins (It's where Teacher Daitokuji along with Judai and some students used to have a travel here. They ended up with flying into another dimension and dueling gravekeepers. See further information in episode 27 and 28).

There, Principal Samejima, Martin, Tome-San, Rei, Professor Napoleon, Teacher Ayukawa, Teacher Kabayama, and other students see that their friends have already returned. Professor Chronos is holding Johan. Behind him are Manjyome, Fubuki, Asuka, Edo, Jim, O'Brien, Kenzan, and Sho. Kenzan looks at Sho still looking back. As nobody doesn't know what's going on, Sho is crying for Judai who has never returned.

What's the actual result of the game between Yubel and Judai?

Let's capture the last play before Yubel plays Chain Material. Judai has 200 LP and Yubel has 400 LP. Both of them have one face-down on their sides. It's still in Yubel's turn after her battle phase. She has Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen on the field while Judai has E-Hero Neos on his field. Their plays after Yubel's battle phase are as following:

1. Yubel activates Magic Chronicle to let Judai choose one of the remaining removed cards for her. There are two Chronicle Counters on Magic Chronicle because Judai previously played Hope of Fifth and Mirage Cylinder. The remaining cards are Super Fusion and Torch Golem, and Judai selects Super Fusion for her.

2. Yubel activates the face-down trap card, Chain Material, selecting 11 cards on her hand, deck, graveyard, and field as material monsters (See the listing of the monsters above). Chain Material is played just to identify the monsters to be used as material monsters on the field.

3. Yubel activates Super Fusion on her hand to fuse Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen on the field with the other 11 fusion material cards identified by Chain Material to summon a fusion monster. She calls it Super Fusion God (Official name and appearance is still unknown), but the fusion summon is interrupted by Judai's trap card.

4. Judai activates his face-down trap card, Spiritual Fusion. Because Super Fusion can't be affected by any spell, trap, or monster card, Spiritual Fusion is played against Chain Material. This play causes Yubel unable to use 11 cards in many places as fusion material monsters to be fused with Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen on the field in order to call Super Fusion God. In addition, Spiritual Fusion allows him to determine fusion material monsters to be used in the fusion summon, so this assumes that he is the controller of Super Fusion. Thus, anime presents that Super Fusion is on his side and his control. Up to this point is what can happen in real game.

From this point on is what can happen only in anime. Judai selects to use his soul in the place of a fusion material monster on the field and fuses it with Yubel on her field. Certainly, a player can't be played as a fusion material monster, so this is impossible to happen in real game. Therefore, here seems the end of the game. You can say that Yubel may win with higher remaining LP of 400 over Judai's 200 LP. However, no such an ending can be assumed. "The game is ended without actual result".
