episode 149 summarized by Janime

Previously, Johan declared his victory over Hell Kaiser and walked back into the big gate. Everybody ran into Hell Kaiser who collapsed onto the ground. Judai was calling Johan who was enter the gate. Before leaving, Johan told Judai that he would be waiting for him at the top. Hell Kaiser held himself up and told Judai that this was the end of the person who dueled merely for the search of power. It's also the conclusion after he had seen the joy of moment. He didn't mind if people would laugh at him. Nobody laughed at him at all. Everyone's eyes were full of tears.

Judai gave a promise to Hell Kaiser that he would shine even brighter than him and make a miracle. Hell Kaiser realized that this should be what everybody who had passed away expected from Judai. Then, his body began to glow. He left his last words that Judai was no longer a kid before turning into particles of light and disappearing.

It's about night time in desert. Sho is kneeing in front of his dear brother's duel disk and still crying for him. Everybody then pays attention to Judai who suddenly gets up. Judai says that he is going to meet Yubel. He doesn't plan to do things alone again, but he has no choice. Unless he does it, Johan won't be saved. Judai walks straight to the door. At the same time, Winged Kuriboh appears in front. It looks worried about him as following him everywhere he will go.

Sho wipes out his tears, gets up, and says that he will follow him. He has already sworn to his dear brother that he would keep watching over Judai until the end. Thus, he is unable to do so unless he goes. Professor Chronos also stands up and claims that he as a teacher has to supervise his two students by following them. He is unable to send his students out into danger by themselves. Winged Kuriboh looks at Judai and wonders how he is going to respond. Judai is uncertain to his answer because he doesn't know what will happen beyond the door.

In that case, Sho insists that he will keep watching it. Professor Chronos then walks closer to Sho to insist that he will go anyway. Judai looks at Professor Chronos and Sho before allowing them to do what they want. Ojama Yellow gets excited after seeing that Sho is so cool. It decides to follow wherever Master Sho is going. Misawa is afraid that he prefers staying here with Taniya and her friends. There are people who still need him, and he would like to respond to them.

Taniya tells Judai that she has been pleased with seeing him here. Judai responds that he also feels the same. Misawa then takes up Hell Kaiser's duel disk and tells Sho that he will bring it to where Manjyome and other people are. Sho bows to Misawa and thanks for his help. Misawa walks to Judai and convinces him that Judai can make it to save Johan and puts the world back in place. If Judai wants and wishes strongly enough, his desires will be real. In the current dimension, spirit and substance are linked to each other. Thus, if Judai's wishes are strong enough, miracle can happen. It's up to Judai.

Winged Kuriboh shakes its head to agree with Misawa. Misawa shakes Judai's hand before leaving everything on him. Judai is now standing in front of the gate. He thinks of Johan as stepping into the gate with Professor Chronos, Sho, Winged Kuriboh, and Ojama Yellow.

Misawa Judai...
Judai I'm going to go meet Yubel...I'm not planning to go on alone, but Johan can't be saved unless I do.
Sho I'll go too. No, I must go. I swore it to my brother that I would watch over you until the very end, Judai. And I won't be able to do that unless I go!
Chronos Well then, I must supervise the both of you as your teacher! I simply cannot send my students out on such a dangerous outing by themselves!
Judai But, what's going to happen beyond those doors?
Sho We'll see it for ourselves.
Judai I got it...
Ojama Yellow Brother Sho! You're so cool! I'm going along with you!
Misawa Sorry to break the mood but... I'm going have to remain here, with Taniya and her friends. There are people who need me, and I'd like to respond.
Judai Mm-hm.
Taniya Judai, it was a pleasure to meet you again.
Judai Same here, Taniya.
Misawa Sho, I'll put Kaiser where Manjyome and the others are.
Sho Misawa-kun, thank you very much.
Misawa Judai, you can do it. You can save Johan and put this world back in place. If you want for it, if your wishes get strong enough, they'll more than certainly become reality. In this dimension, spirit and substance are both connected...So if your wishes get strong enough, a miracle is bound to happen. It's all up to you, Judai.
Sho Johan...
Misawa We're counting on you, Judai...

Meanwhile, Johan who is moving ahead is now walking in the mist. He falls onto his knees during his way and looks very exhausted. His duel against Hell Kaiser caused him to spend more strength than he had expected. He knows that Judai is coming behind, so he finally gets up and moves on. On the other side of the mist is standing white and cylinder-shaped building. When Johan walks to the base of the building, a door is automatically open.

Inside the cylinder building is a big hollow with a middle pillar. A transparent blue bridge then expands from the small middle circle platform to the edge where Johan is standing. Below and deeper the building is linked to the cave where the capsule carrying Yubel card was broken into two pieces. The middle half-circle platform is lifting Johan to the top of the building. On the top, there is empty and wide space.

Johan is walking towards a front seat and getting surprised by seeing the shadow of a familiar person. This person hands his left arm up, and there appears big Exodia hand expanding out and blowing Johan away. There is no doubt that this uninvited guest is Amon. He steps down from the seat along transparent stairs, which appear one by one. Amon shows his left arm that Yubel's devil arm is gone. Johan reminds himself of when Yubel took control Martin's body (episode 127). At that time, Martin was excited to what he and Amon could do if they joined together. Thus, he persuaded Amon to enjoy the world together.

Martin came to Yubel and finally to Johan. Johan used to meet Amon once at the underground cavern where Yubel's capsule remained. He told Amon to take his hand so that they could become friends. Once Amon touched his hand, a devil arm was attached onto his left arm. It's the same devil arm attached onto Professor Cobra's arm. It's the power of Yubel to show her friendship with Amon.

Amon holds his arm whose the devil arm has already disappeared. Johan walks on the side way while saying that both of them have got along pretty well. Amon agrees to that he has kept Yubel's order faithfully, but there will be no more. Seeing Amon's arm, Johan realizes that Amon has already obtained Exodia in his hand. Amon previously released Exodia (episode 145) by the sacrifice of his beloved person, Ekou. The wind blew heavily and also blew Amon's devil arm away at that time. Amon has been released from Yubel since then.

Johan So, I spent more strength than I expected to, huh? And Judai will soon be coming, too... You're...! Amon...Our mark...
Martin I was just excited about what we could do if we joined forces. Let's enjoy this world together...
Johan Well? Take my hand. Now we're both friends. And we got along so well...
Amon I was merely faithfully carrying out your orders...But I can not do that anymore.
Johan So, you obtained Exodia, did you?
Amon I release Exodia!

Johan is impressed by that Amon could obtain Exodia by the sacrifice of his love. In his view, Amon has been able to break his strong will, so this should be true Amon without any disguise. Amon claims that he is going to beat Johan or Yubel in order to become the real king. Johan chuckles before asking who Amon thinks he is. Amon doesn't answer but uses the power of Exodia to pressure Johan by his left arm. Johan has to hold up and protect himself by his both arms.

Amon doesn't know whether Johan has been, but he can notice that Johan seems to have some damage left. Perhaps, he thinks that Johan should give the game up, asking whether Yubel thinks so. Johan tells Amon not to underestimate him. The picture of Yubel and her eyes reflect onto his face before Johan can break Amon's pressure by her power and counter it back to Amon. Amon is finally pushed back.

Amon decides to take his duel disk out and sets it up into his arm. Johan understands that this is Amon's challenge. He accepts it as changing his deck. He tells Amon that this is the match with a throne on bet. It's a good thing for him to restore his stamina before meeting his beloved Judai. For that purpose, deep darkness in heart is necessary. It's the source of his power, and Amon is an emergency ration at the first place. Johan says as sticking his tongue out. Amon seems annoyed by Johan's act. Then, the duel between them begins.

Johan I see, then. You obtained Exodia at the price of your beloved...How splendid! You've eaten away at your own iron will. This must be true and undisguised Amon, then.
Amon Yes. And I will become king, by beating you!
Johan Beat me? Heh, heh, heh. Who do you think I am?
Amon I don't know where you've been to, but you have some damage left on you. Maybe you can give game up. Right, Yubel?
Johan Don't under judge me! Ho~ if do, I'm taking your challenge.
Amon (He changed his deck?)
Johan Now~ this is title match with throne on bet. Good thing too. I needed to restore my stamina to normal before meeting lovely Judai. To do so, I needed deep darkness in heart. Amon, you were ration for emergency in first place.
Johan,Amon Duel!

The first turn is with Johan. He draws a card and plays spell card [Triangle Force - Permanent Spell: After this card is activated, you can choose 2 Triangle Force cards from your deck and activate them]. According to its effect, it can activate other two Triangle Force cards from his deck. Amon looks surprised by the sudden play of the three continuous spell cards.

Without waiting, Johan discards the three spell cards into the cemetery to special summon [Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder ~ Kouraiou Hamon - 10/4000/4000: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 3 face-up Continuous Spell Cards from your side of the field to the Graveyard. When this card destroys your opponent's monster as a result of battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. While this card is in face-up Defense Position on your side of the field, your opponent cannot select another monster as an attack target] onto the field in attack position.

Amon is more amazed by the sudden summon of the demon god. He looks at his cards and thinks that he also has Exodia to oppose with. Just one more part (Exodia the Forbidden One), and his Exodia combo will be complete. The cards on his hand are now 4 parts of Exodia and Ultimate Unsealing Ritualistic Technique.

Anyway, Johan seems able to read Amon's game. He next plays [Hand Severing ~ Tebuda Dansatsu - Quick Play Spell: Both players discard 4 cards. (If a player has less than 4 cards in their hand, that player discards their entire hand.) Then, both players draw a number of cards equal to the number of cards they discarded this way. If a player draws 1 or no cards this way, both players draw 1 card]. According to its effect, both sides have to discard 4 cards into their cemeteries and draw by the number of the discarded cards from their decks.

Spell Card

Johan has only 3 cards (one Duel Gate and two Delta Barriers) left on his hand, so he discards them all and draws 3 new cards. He chuckles and feels sorry to Amon. By this, Exodia completion seems to be stopped by now. Johan is still amazed and impressed by Amon who is able to control Exodia this well. Credit should be given to Amon's love who is the sacrifice for his Exodia. Amon accepts that he did kill Ekou to take control of Exodia. He reminds himself of when Ekou screamed with pain in the squeeze of Exodia's hand. She then died in its arm and her pendent with Amon's picture dropped onto the ground.

Due to the effect of Hand Severing, Amon decides to discard Ultimate Unsealing Ritualistic Technique, Left Arm, Left Leg, and Right Leg of the Forbidden Ones into the graveyard before drawing 4 new cards. Then, Johan sets up a face-down card and ends his turn.

The turn comes to Amon. Once he draws a card, he activates spell card [Ultimate Unsealing Ritualistic Technique ~ Kyoukyoku Fuuin Kaihou Gishikijyutsu - Ritual Spell: If this card is in your Cemetery, you can activate this card when there are 5 cards with The Forbidden One are in your hand and/or Cemetery. Return all cards with The Forbidden One in your Cemetery to your deck. Send 2 cards with The Forbidden One from your hand to your Cemetery and Special Summon 1 Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God from your deck or hand. (Then, shuffle your deck.) If a card with The Forbidden One in its name is sent to the Cemetery as a result other than Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God's effect, return that card to the deck], which he has just sent into the cemetery due to Hand Severing's effect.

According to its effect, it can be activated when there are 5 Forbidden One cards in his hand and cemetery. Furthermore, Amon can return three Left Arm, Left Leg, and Right Leg of the Forbidden Ones in the cemetery to his deck and shuffle it. He then can discard two remaining Forbidden Ones on his hand, Exodia the Forbidden One and Right Arm of the Forbidden One into the cemetery. By all of these processes, [Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God ~ Exodios Kyuukyoku Fuuin Shin Exodios - 10/?/0:This card can only be Special Summoned by the effects of Ultimate Unsealing Ritualistic Technique. When this card attacks, send 1 monster with The Forbidden One in its name from your deck or hand to the Cemetery. Increase this card's attack power by 1000 points for each card in your Cemetery with The Forbidden One in its name. This card cannot be destroyed. This card cannot be affected by the effects of your opponent's Magic, Trap, or Monster effects. When 5 cards with The Forbidden One are all collected in your Cemetery, you win the game] is special summoned onto the field in attack position.

episode 149 summarized by Janime

Amon is chucking while he is successfully summoning Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God onto the field. Johan looks surprised by that the attack points of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God can't be determined. Amon explains that the attack power Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God is equal to 1000 for each Forbidden One card in his cemetery. There are currently two Exodia parts, Exodia the Forbidden and Right Arm of the Forbidden One, in his graveyard, so the attack points of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God become 2000 (2*1000). Johan chuckles because his Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder has 4000 attack power, which is still higher.

Amon then plays spell card [Suffering of the Strong ~ Kyousha No Kutsuu - Permanent Spell: All face-up monsters on the opponent's side of the field have their attack powers decreased by their level x100 points]. This card can reduce the attack power of the monsters on Johan's field by 100 for each of a monster's level. Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder has level 10, so its attack decreases to 3000 (4000-100*10).

By the special effect of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God, when it's about to attack, Amon can send a Forbidden One card on his hand into the cemetery. With one more Forbidden One card there, Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God gains more attack power , and it totally becomes 3000 (2000+1000). Johan sees that the attack points of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God are the same as his Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder's. There seems to be no much difference. Amon smiles before explaining the big difference that Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God can't be destroyed in battle. Johan looks shocked suddenly.

Amon declares the attack of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God towards Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder quickly. At this moment, Johan opens his face-down continuous trap card [Delta Barrier - Permanent Trap: When this card is activated, you can activate a card of the same name in your Cemetery. When there are 3 of this card on your side of the field, you can reduce the Battle Damage for 1 of your monsters on your side of the field to 0, once per turn. During the turn you activate this effect, you cannot activate the effect of a Delta Barrier other than this card's].

Suffering from the Strong
Spell Card
Delta Barrier
Trap Card

When Delta Barrier is activated, Johan can activate the same cards from his cemetery. Thus, two Delta Barriers, which Johan previously discarded as a result of Hand Severing's effect, were activated. Also, when there are 3 Delta Barriers on the field, Johan can reduce battle damage to one of his monster to 0. Therefore, Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder receives no damage and isn't destroyed by the strike of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God. Johan smiles after his successful defense.

Amon doesn't feel worried at all, saying that it doesn't matter to him. He explains that when 5 Exodia parts are together in his cemetery, Exodia will be complete and Amon will obtain the victory immediately. Johan sees that Amon is persistent to summon Exodia. Amon doesn't answer but smiles. This is his common personality. He then ends his turn at this point.

The turn moves to Johan. Drawing a card, he sacrifices 3 Delta Barrier to special summon the second demon, [Uria, Lord of Searing Flames ~ Shinenou Uria - 10/0/0: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 3 face-up Trap Cards from your side of the field to the Graveyard. Increase the ATK of this card by 1000 points for each Continuous Trap Card in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can destroy 1 Set Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field. Spell and Trap Cards cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation] onto the field in attack position.

The attack power of Uria, Lord of Searing Flames are equal to 1000 for each continuous trap card in Johan's cemetery. There are three Delta Barrier cards in his graveyard, so the attack points of Uria, Lord of Searing Flames become 3000 (3*1000). Amon claims that according to the effect of his permanent spell card, Suffering of the Strong, the attack power of Uria, Lord of Searing Flames has to decrease to 2000 (3000-100*10).

Eternal Reverse
Spell Card

Johan next plays spell card [Eternal Reverse - Equipment Spell: Once per turn, you can return 1 Magic or Trap card on your opponent's side of the field into set position. The card returned to its Set position by this effect cannot be activated in this turn. When the equipped monster is destroyed as a result of battle, you can negate its destruction by sending this card to the Cemetery], equipping it with Uria, Lord of Searing Flames. By its effect, once per turn, Johan can turn a face-up spell card on Amon's field into set position, and Amon can't activate it again in this turn.

Thus, Suffering of the Strong is faced down, causing Uria, Lord of Searing Flames' and Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder's attack points to turn back to their original points of 3000 and 4000 respectively. Johan further explains the effect of Eternal Reverse that it can protect Uria, Lord of Searing Flames from destruction when it's instead sent into the cemetery.

Seeing such an eyesore face-down card on Amon's field, Johan intends to get rid of it first. He activates the special effect of Uria, Lord of Searing Flames to destroy a spell card on the opponent's field once per turn. Johan snaps his finger as a signal before Uria, Lord of Searing Flames fires its flames to burn out face-down Suffering of the Strong on Amon's field. Without waiting, he declares the attack of Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder towards Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God.

There appears big explosion after Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God gets the direct hit from Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder. Amon claims that Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God can't be destroyed in battle anyway. However, Johan reminds him that Amon still has to receive battle damage. Thunder bolts onto Amon as his LP decreases to 3000 (4000+3000-4000). Johan ends his turn at this point (Uria, Lord of Searing Flames has the same attack points as Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God's, so Johan didn't declare its normal attack in this turn).

The turn comes to Amon again. He draws a card and declares the attack of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God towards Uria, Lord of Searing Flames immediately. Once the attack is declared, he discards another Exodia's part, Right Leg of the Forbidden One, into his cemetery to boost the attack points of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God to 4000 (3000+1000). Johan understands that there have been 4 Exodia's parts in Amon's graveyard by now. Just one more part in the next turn, Exodia will be complete.

Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God quickly attacks Uria, Lord of Searing Flames while Amon is smiling and waiting for the result of the attack. He looks very amazed when the strike is blocked by the green barrier of Eternal Reverse. Johan explains that Eternal Reverse equipped with Uria, Lord of Searing Flames can be destroyed in order to keep Uria, Lord of Searing Flames onto the field. However, he still has to receive battle damage, and his LP decreases to 3000 (4000+3000-4000).

Amon doesn't want to do anything else and ends his turn calmly. He is waiting for the last card to be sent into the cemetery in his next turn, and Exodia's parts will be gathered in his graveyard and complete. Amon looks at his duel disk confidently. Johan is afraid to interrupt by chuckling. He understands that Amon wants formally to become a king, and his desire is coming true in just a turn. Nevertheless, Johan doubts who will be happy with Amon for his success. As far as he knows, the one who should be happy at most to Amon's living like a king is the lady named Ekou. It's pity that Amon already murdered her, so he can't see her happy. Therefore, Johan thinks that his attempt seems absurd.

Amon tells Johan to shut up. Johan is about to compare Amon's story to his own. He or Yebel, the real spirit inside his body, can't stand losing his love or stay in the world where her love doesn't exist. Because the world still has Judai, Yubel can feel pain, suffer, and joy Judai gave her. Amon tells Johan that Ekou still exists in his deck, placing his fingers on the deck.

Johan can see only that Amon made a good quibble for his own satisfaction and he acts like a good king to make any unreasonable thing pass easily. Johan tells Amon that he will get rid of Ekou's spirit in his deck for him. He will kill her for the second time. Amon certainly looks mad but doesn't argue. Ekou who they are talking is actually Exodia the Forbidden One in Amon's deck. Because Ekou was sacrificed to release it, Exodia the Forbidden One is her representation.

Johan

Hi Hi Hi! Then, you will formally become a king. It's good. Your wish is coming true. But who will be happy with you? Isn't the one who will be happy at most to see you live like yourself is that woman, Ekou? But you already murdered her. You can't see her happy. Isn't that absurd.?

Amon Shut up!
Johan If I were you, I couldn't stand it. In the world where the one I love doesn't exist.... It's because of Judai, I can feel pain, suffering, and joy.
Amon Ekou still exists, in here!
Johan What an extremely good quibble for your own satisfaction! What a good king you are!? You can make any unreasonable thing pass. Well, that spirit of Ekou, I will get rid of it for you. I will kill her for the second time.

The turn is with Johan. Drawing a card, he plays spell card [Duel Gate - Spell: Remove this card and 1 card of the same name in your Cemetery from the game. Draw 2 cards from your deck]. By removing this card and another Duel Gate in the cemetery, which Johan previously sent there as a result of Hand Severing's effect, he can draw 2 new cards.

Next, Johan summons [Phantom Gunner ~ Genjyuushi - 4/1100/800: When this card is Normal or Flip Summoned, you can Special Summon a number of Gunner Tokens (Dark/Demon/4/500/500) up to the number of monsters you control. During your Standby Phase, you can inflict 300 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points for each Gunner monster you control. If this effect is activated, Gunner Token monsters you control cannot attack this turn] onto the field in attack position.

Duel Gate
Spell Card
Phantom Gunner
Monster Card

When this monster is successfully summoned onto the field, Johan can special summon Gunner Token equal to the number of other monsters on his field. There are Uria, Lord of Searing Flames and Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder on his field now, so two Gunner Tokens are special summoned onto the field in attack position. Each token has 500 attack points.

Additionally, for each Gunner monster on his field, it can inflict 300 damage points to Amon. Gun slots on three Gunner monsters are open while Johan tells Amon to prepare for 900 damage points (300*3). Triple shots are fired towards Amon, reducing his LP to 2100 (3000-300*3).

Next, Johan sacrifices 3 Gunner monsters to special summon [Ravel, Lord of Phantasm ~ Genmaou Ravel - 10/4000/1000: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 3 Fiend-Type monsters on your side of the field. Each time your opponent Normal Summons a monster(s), Special Summon 1 Phantasm Token (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 1000/DEF 1000) on your side of the field. This token cannot declare an attack. Once per turn, by Tributing 1 monster on your side of the field, increase the ATK of this card by the original ATK of the Tributed monster, until the End Phase of this turn] onto the field in attack position.

Wind blows strongly while Amon is facing the three sacred beasts. Johan later plays the last card on his hand, and it is spell card [Death by Dimensional Fusion ~ Jigen Yuugousatsu - Remove a Uria, Lord of the Searing Flames, Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder, Ravel, Lord of Phantoms on your side of the field from the game to Special Summon 1 Armityle the Chaos Phantom from your Fusion Deck].

According to its effect, he removes the three sacred beasts on the field from play in order to special summon [Armityle the Chaos Phantom ~ Konton Genma Armityle - 12/0/0: This card cannot be Special Summoned except from the Fusion Deck with Death by Dimensional Fusion. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, if this card is in face-up Attack Position, you can inflict 10000 points of Battle Damage to 1 monster your opponent controls. During your Main Phase, you can switch control of this card to your opponent until the end of the turn. If you do this, during the End Phase of this turn, remove from play all monsters controlled by the controller of this card, except this card] onto the field in attack position. Amon looks pretty shocked by the ultimate form of the three sacred beasts.

Johan explains that Armityle the Chaos Phantom can't be destroyed in battle. In addition, when it is about to attack, it can inflict 10000 damage points to the opponent's monster. Armityle the Chaos Phantom then shines brightly around the field. Amon claims that his Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God can't be affected by any effect of trap, spell, or monster cards. Johan agrees if the effect Amon is talking comes from the opponent.

Amon doesn't understand what Johan means until he sees Armityle the Chaos Phantom come to stay on his side behind Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God. Johan explains that, during his main phase, he can switch the control of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God onto Amon until the end of his turn.

Note: Now is still the current main phase of Johan, and his battle phase hasn't come yet. His previous attacks of Gunner monsters were the special effect of Phantom Gunner in his main phase. Then, Johan sacrificed 3 of them to summon Ravel, Lord of Phantasms and played Death by Dimensional Fusion to summon Armityle the Chaos Phantom accordingly. Everything happened in his main phase.

When Armityle the Chaos Phantom is on Amon's side, its effect can affect Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God because Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God can protect itself only from the effect of the opponent's cards as Johan previously said. Johan explains that, during his end phase (This means that he skips his battle phase immediately), the special effect of Armityle the Chaos Phantom can remove all monsters except for itself on the controller's field from play.

Now, Armityle the Chaos Phantom is considered Amon's card, so its effect can remove Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God on his field from play. Amon is getting very shocked when the body of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God is about to disappear. He sees the picture of Ekou in front of Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God, handing over her as if she is going to disappear again. Her body and Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God finally vanish together.

After Johan's end phase, Armityle the Chaos Phantom has to return to his field. He tells Amon that, by this, Ekou will no longer return to him before laughing loudly. Amon hurries to turn back as going to start his turn. His hand is close to the deck, but it's shaking. Then, there is another hand over his. Amon sees the picture of Ekou in front of him. She nods his head as a signal to Amon before disappearing. Amon looks at his hand, calls her name, and tells himself that everything hasn't been over yet. He holds his fist while closing his eyes to stay calm. Johan now seems to prevail as chuckling and waiting for Amon's move.

Meanwhile, Judai, Professor Chronos, and Sho are walking along the mist way where Johan early passed. Professor Chronos begins to complain that it's full only of mist everywhere they go, doubting whether Johan is really here. Judai doesn't understand himself either, but he can feel that Johan and Yubel are ahead. Then, everybody arrives the while cylinder building that Johan previously entered. On the top of it is where Johan is currently dueling Amon.

to be continued...

Sho That's Yubel's castle.
Judai Johan...No! Yubel is waiting there!
Sho The gate is freely open. Judai! Going inside is dangerous.
Judai I said that Yubel was waiting. I must go.
Sho

At that time, inside the castle, Johan and Amon are fighting desperately. Next time, [Summon "Yubel"]!

Judai Where? Where are you, Yubel? I am here!
