episode 144 summarized by Janime

Previously, O'Brien along with the power of Jim drew a card before and declared the final attack of Volcanic Devil. Supreme King Judai responded by sending Vicious Claw into the cemetery to fuse Evil Hero Malicious Edge on his field and Evil Token on O'Brien's field into Evil Hero Malicious Devil. Both monsters battled each other violently and caused such a big explosion. Inside bright light and smoke, O'Brien ran over Supreme King Judai, attaching Jim's Eye of Orichalcum on his chest.

Supreme King Judai told O'Brien that it's useless to do this. O'Brien's monster had already been destroyed by Evil Hero Malicious Edge, so his LP should become 0. Eye of Orichalcum shined even brighter, emerging such tremendous energy around the place. Inside Judai's mind, he collapsed under Jim's arms. That's the end of Supreme King while Judai was finally saved by his friends. After that, Ojama Yellow told people that it had seen Johan before. Johan was in a cloth with orange eyes looking like Yubel's.

Judai is dreaming. He is dreaming of Jim's duel against Supreme King Judai. Jim was looking surprised by seeing his Earth Giant Gaia Plate used to fuse and summon Evil Hero Dark Gaia. Evil Hero Dark Gaia gained power up to 4400 attack points and bursted out several meteors towards Jim. Judai calls Jim loudly in his dream while Jim's also calling Judai back. Jim's LP went down to 0 as he's burnt out in flame.

Next, Judai is dreaming of O'Brien's duel against Supreme King. The game ended by the death of both O'Brien and Supreme King. O'Brien said that Supreme King was dead, and Judai was saved by Jim. His body then turned into particles of light and disappeared. Judai can't stand seeing these pictures anymore. He cries over to stop what's pouring into his dream before screaming and waking up.

Judai finds himself under the tree while Hell Kaiser, Sho, Edo, and Ojama Yellow are staying around. Judai is breathing heavily before turning to ask his friends where Jim and O'Brien have been. Sho and Edo are afraid to give him an answer, so they turn their faces away. Judai is able to guess easily by their act. He remembers what he did to Jim , O'Brien, and the others. He holds his fist tightly, blames himself, and faces down. Edo tells Judai to calm down. He comforts him that everything is the fault of darkness power and Supreme King that took control him. However, Judai shakes his head to refuse that comfort.

Edo walks closer to Judai and tells him to listen carefully. He reveals that Johan is still alive somewhere, so he would like Judai to think about how to save his friend next. That word seems too emotional for Judai. He thinks that he now doesn't deserve to be a friend, turning his face away. Judai suddenly feels dizzy. He holds his head by a hand and is about to collapse. Edo holds Judai rapidly while Sho and Hell Kaiser are getting surprised. Edo sees that Judai has such a high fever, so he lays him down back onto the sheet. Sho is looking very worried about Judai who finally falls asleep. Winged Kuriboh is also worried about its master as flying by his side.

Judai Ahhhh! Where are Jim and O'Brien? I see. I... by my own hands...to those people...not only those people but everyone. It's my fault.
Edo

Clam down, Judai! Everything was because of power of darkness or darkness called Supreme King that took you. Judai, listen carefully! Johan is still alive...somewhere in this world. Don't think about what already passed. Now, I would like you to think about to save your friend.

Judai Friend? Please stop it! Now, I doesn't deserve to be a friend.
Edo Judai! What a high fever!

At an underground cavern, Amon is walking alone, stopping at the big gate sealed by chains. There is roaring sound coming behind the gate. Amon looks at the gate and takes out five Forbidden One cards including Exodia the Forbidden One. He reminds himself of what Martin told him before (episode 127).

"Exodia...He said it...He said that my will, that would sacrifice everything to protect my little brother and the Garam Finance..is more immense than the gods and that not even I myself can tear it down...", Amon thinks.

"A devil...Yes, unless I become a devil, I won't be able to release my true self, and I won't be able to handle this one unless I am a devil...But if I am able to make this one my servant, Yubel will be mine...", Amon further thinks as an arm of the monster approaches from the gate. The monster appears to be Exodia the Forbidden One. It fails to reach Amon because of the sealed gate.

"I know...A sacrifice is needed to break your seal", Amon realizes. He shows his left arm that is now a devil arm, and there appears the picture of his dear person, Ekou. "So, the time has come...", Amon thinks as smiling. He has already designated the tribute to break the seal.

Judai is still sleeping with high fever and a sheet covering his eyes. Winged Kuriboh is staying close to him while Sho is always by his side. Edo and Hell Kaiser are standing on the other side. Edo is checking Judai's deck, finding Super Fusion card inside. He takes it out and doubts how this card is in Judai's deck. As far as remembers, this card has never been in Judai's deck before. Hell Kaiser realizes that Super Fusion might come from Supreme King Judai. Talking about Supreme King, he says that he wants to duel him just once.

Edo thinks that although Hell Kaiser was trying to say a joke, it doesn't sound like a good interest. Hell Kaiser clarifies that he just wants to have the greatest duel and victory, so he has come to this world. It doesn't matter who an opponent will be. Edo has just realized that Hell Kaiser doesn't come to save neither Johan nor Judai's friends. He turns to look at Judai before turning back. However, Edo is different. He tells Hell Kaiser that he currently owes Judai. Judai once saved Edo's friend (Saiou Takuma). Thus, this is time for Edo to pay him back and help him. It's what Edo thinks that it's a friend. Hell Kaiser has just realized why Edo has been struggling for saving Judai this far. Edo looks mad and asks whether there is something wrong in his thought.

As Hell Kaiser and Edo are talking, they see people running towards them from the front valley. There appear Professor Chronos and Ekou running away from a group of red bulls. Professor Chronos misses and falls down, calling Ekou for help. Ekou decides to turn back and runs to save him. As they are going to be attacked by the red bulls, Hell Kaiser and Edo summon Cyber Dragon and D-Hero Diamond Guy respectively to protect them. Both monsters together attack and burst out all bulls.

Edo Super Fusion? How can this card be in...? This card hasn't been in Judai's deck before.
Hell Kaiser Supreme King Judai!? I just want to duel him just once.
Edo Though it's a joke, it doesn't sound like a good interest.
Hell Kaiser I have come here for the greatest duel and the greatest victory. Whoever an opponent is doesn't matter to me.
Edo I see. You haven't come here to save Johan and Judai's friends, have you!? But I owe him. Judai saved my friend. Now, it's my turn to help him back. It's what I think that it's a friend.
Hell Kaiser You really seem to think like that, don't you?
Edo Is it wrong!?

Professor Chronos feels relieved to be saved. Seeing Cyber Dragon and D-Hero Diamond Guy, he remembers their masters pretty well. He looks around and finally sees Hell Kaiser and Edo. Professor Chronos looks very happy to meet them here. He is about to run over them but eventually slips and falls down. Edo and Hell Kaiser have seen Ekou by the first time. Edo asks who this lady is. Professor Chronos introduces her name, Singore Ekou, to people and explains that he met her by chance at the island and came together with her (episode 131). At that time, he was trying to stop Ekou from getting closer to the portal that everyone was trying to open, but ended up with coming to this different world with her.

Understanding the story of Professor Chronos well, Edo tells him that Judai is also on this side. He suggests Professor Chronos and Ekou go together from now on. Professor Chronos expresses his feeling that it's very splendid to have Judai in this world. He believes that if there is, at least, Judai here, something may be done even in this unknown world (He always believes that Judai can create a miracle). Edo would like to convince that but he is afraid to say so. Professor Chronos doubts whether something happened. Edo just replies that many things have happened. His answer really makes Professor Chronos more surprised.

Hell Kaiser tells everyone to move on. As everybody is walking off, Edo notices a pendant left on the ground. He picks it up, opens it, and sees the picture of Amon. Edo recognizes Amon as a transfer student to Duel Academia. He then turns back to see Hell Kasier, Professor Chronos, and Ekou walking towards the tree on the hill.

At night, Judai still falls asleep while Winged Kuriboh is always by his side. Sho hasn't gone anywhere but stayed with Judai under the tree. Meanwhile, Hell Kaiser, Edo, and Professor Chronos are sitting around a campfire while Ekou is sitting slightly away from them. Edo told Professor Chronos what has happened until now. Professor Chronos hardly believes the story that his students were killed. Although he has been here, he couldn't do anything to save them.

Edo looks at Ekou sitting alone and decides to walk in to talk to her. He shows her the pendant left on the ground. Ekou looks very surprised before checking a pendant on her neck. Realizing that her pendant is gone, she quickly takes the pendant back from Edo. Edo feels sorry to her that it's open and he didn't intend to look inside. He sits down on a rock in front of Ekou. As far as he knows, Amon, a transfer student, like Johan didn't return from the different world. Edo believes that Ekou came to Duel Academia to search for Amon and save him in this different world.

Ekou responds that it's impossible for her to come and save Amon. Edo asks directly whether Amon is her lover. Ekou quickly refuses that it isn't what Edo is thinking. Edo thinks that she should love Amon because she has his picture. Ekou finally reveals that she loves Amon. Edo has just realized the reason why Ekou wants to save Amon even more. Ekou explains that she just wants to prove by her own eyes. In this world where Master Shido (Amon's little brother) and Garam Finance don't exist, Amon is able to rule over the world as a king.

Edo is afraid that he doesn't understand what Ekou means. Ekou says that if Amon is alive here, he will become the king who rules this different world. She believes that Amon is strongly qualified for this position, so she just wants to see that. Edo understands well that Ekou loves Amon. However, he doubts whether she shouldn't be okey to leave Amon as he is. Ekou hurries to deny and says that Amon must love himself. She doesn't think that Edo can understand her and Amon anyway (If Amon isn't allowed to love himself, he always ends up with being a servant of his little brother, Shido, and Garam Finance. Ekou thinks that this isn't true Amon who has better skill and qualification).

Chronos I cannot believe it. To think that everyone was killed off...And even though I, a teacher, was here, I couldn't do anything to help them...
Edo The lid opened...but I didn't intend on looking... That's the transfer student, Amon, in that picture, isn't it? Him, along with Johan, never returned from that different dimension. You came to the island to search for Amon, right? And you're trying to save Amon in this different dimension, aren't you?
Ekou Save? Never.
Edo He's your boyfriend, isn't he?
Ekou It's not like that at all!
Edo But, you like him...That's why you have his picture...
Ekou I love him!
Edo I see...If that's how it is, you should want to save Amon all the more...
Ekou I just want one glimpse of him...In this world with neither the Garam Finance nor Master Shido, he will reign over it as its king.
Edo I don't quite understand...
Ekou If he's alive...If he's alive in this world...Amon shall be the king that will rule this different dimension. He has both the qualities and qualification for it! I just want a glimpse of him...
Edo If you love Amon, isn't it okey to let him be just as he is?
Ekou

No! If Amon isn't allowed to love himself,... You couldn't understand...about him...or about me...

Suddenly, thick fog appears and covers around the place. Ojama Yellow says that it can't see anything. Edo realizes that something is happening. He calls for Judai before running back to him quickly to guard him. Edo also tells Hell Kaiser to be careful. Professor Chronos calls for Ekou to come and stay with the group. Hell Kaiser tells people to stay with Judai before running to him. Professor Chronos agrees, so everyone now stays by Judai's side. Seeing this fog and smelling something, Ekou becomes very familiar. Ojama Yellow hugs Winged Kuriboh and says that it's very scared. Both of them later disappear. As people are around Judai, the fog is getting thicker. Then, dimensions around the places are twisted.

Hell Kaiser What's this?
Chronos What's wrong?
Sho Fog?
Ojama Yellow I can't see anything.
Edo What is happening suddenly? Judai! Ryo, watch out!
Chronos Singore Ekou, come here!
Hell Kaiser Let's stay close to Judai!
Chronos That's a good idea.
Ekou This fog...this smell...
Ojama Yellow Yaaa! I am scared.
Edo What's this?

When the dimensions are distorted, people are brought into the underground cavern. Hell Kaiser realizes that they have been transferred to a different place. Professor Chronos sees Ekou sitting on the other side, realizing that she should be safe. As everyone is looking around, Judai begins to move. The sheet drops from his head while he is groaning and waking up. Edo asks him with concern whether he is okey. He looks around and doesn't understand what's happening.

Then, everyone sees someone walking out from the shadow. Judai is trying to hold himself up while Edo is supporting him. He realizes that the person appears to be Amon. While people are looking surprised by his sudden appearance, Amon is chuckling. Professor Chronos looks very happy to see Amon alive because Amon like Johan was left in the different world (Both Johan and Amon didn't return from the desert world. People were more concerned about Johan while only Ekou was concerned about Amon at that time). Hell Kaiser doubts whether Amon has been in this world all the time.

Amon explains that he wasn't left behind but decided to stay in this world by himself. Judai asks with hope whether Amon hasn't seen Johan in this world as well. Amon replies shortly to imply that he hasn't. Judai looks upset and disappointed before getting surprised by seeing Amon's left devil arm. He asks whether Amon becomes a servant of Yubel as Professor Cobra was. Ekou looks amazed before turning to Amon. Amon doesn't answer Judai but looks at Ekou. He tells her to come with him because he has come here to meet her.

Edo Just now...
Hell Kaiser It seems that we have been transferred to a different world.
Chronos Singore Ekou, you are safe, aren't you?
Edo Judai, are you okey? What's happening?
Judai You are...Amon!
Edo There he is!?
Ekou Amon!
Chronos Singore Amon~ you are alive. You were left in the other world too, weren't you?
Hell Kaiser (He has been in this world all the time?)
Amon I wasn't left behind. I chose to stay in this world.
Judai Then in this world, Johan... Haven't you seen Johan?
Amon Who knows?
Judai So it's like that... ah! That arm! Do you become the servant of Yubel like Cobra?
Ekou Servant?!
Amon Ekou, Come here! I have come here to pick you.

Ekou asks Amon what he means by that. As standing up, she doubts whether Amon hasn't become the king already. Amon again doesn't answer. He chuckles while walking closer to Ekou. Hell Kaiser realizes that Amon doesn't look normal. Edo hurries to get up and calls for Amon. Amon uses his devil arm catch Ekou and tells her to come with him. Ekou refuses so because she doesn't want to see Amon like this). She doesn't want to see Amon who hasn't become the king. Amon is no longer nice to her. He forces her to come with him and pulls her by strength until she falls away.

Edo can't stand Amon's rude act to Ekou, asking directly what Amon intends to do. Amon doesn't answer. He merely says that he doesn't have any business with the others and tells people to get away. Edo yells angrily to stop Amon from kidding him. He explains that Ekou has come to this world for Amon. Amon says that he understands that well. He has waited for Ekou and tells her not to be worried. Sooner, he will become the king as she hopes for. For that purpose, a sacrifice is necessary. Thus, Amon needs Ekou's life as a sacrifice. He gives her his hand and tells her to come with him.

Hell Kaiser obviously isn't satisfied by what Amon just said. Edo even gets angrier. He tells Amon to stop talking about stupid things, revealing that Ekou really loves him. Amon doesn't respond but holds Ekou up by his hand. Edo can't stand anymore, so he stands by his duel disk quickly and tells Amon to leave his hand off Ekou. Amon turns back to Edo and wonders whether Edo is serious to duel him. Edo declares that he won't give Ekou to Amon and will beat him in a duel.

Judai is trying to hold himself up while walking forward weakly. He asks Edo stop this duel before collapsing. Professor Chronos holds him in time while Winged Kuriboh appears beside him. Amon doesn't mind being Edo's opponent and accepts the challenge. However, he doesn't like the current place looking inelegant, suggesting to change the duel place. Edo looks very annoyed by Amon's act but complies to do so.

Amon walks deeper into cavern until he reaches the sealed gate. He walks into the small puddle in front of the gate, turns back, stands by his duel disk, and declares to start the game. Edo is also standing on the other side of the puddle. He turns to look at Ekou now standing with the group. Professor Chronos suggests her stay here. Edo looks at her before thinking that he will definitely protect her from Amon by himself. Meanwhile, Sho and Ojama Yellow are arriving the place and watching the duel on the other side. When Edo and Amon are ready, they begin the duel. Judai now gets very worried about Edo.

Ekou What do you mean? Haven't you become the king?
Hell Kaiser He doesn't look alright.
Edo Amon!
Amon Come, Ekou!
Ekou I don't want to! I don't want to see Amon like this!
Amon Come!
Edo Ekou! Amon! bastard! What are you going to do?
Amon I have no business with you all. Get lost!
Edo Don't kid me! Ekou came to this world because of you!
Amon Yes, I have waited for Ekou, too. Don't worry, Ekou! I will become the king. But, to do so, Ekou, I need you as a sacrifice. Your life!
Ekou Sacrifice?
Judai Amon!
Amon Come!
Hell Kaiser This guy!
Edo Don't say stupid things! Ekou, Ekou loved you! Get that hand off her!!
Amon Ho?
Edo I cannot hand Ekou over! If you come out like that, I'll beat you in a duel!
Judai Stop it Edo!
Amon

All right. I'll take your challenge. But this place is inelegant. Let's move to another place. Then, let's start.

Chronos Singore Ekou. Stay here.
Edo Ekou. I certainly will protect you from him by myself!
Edo, Amon Duel!

Air Circulator
Monster Card

The first turn is with Amon. He draws a card and summons [Air Circulator - 3/0/600: When this card is Normal Summoned, you can shuffle 2 cards from your hand into your Deck, then draw 2 cards. When this card is destroyed and sent from the field to the Graveyard, draw 1 card] onto the field in defense position. According to its special effect, it allows Amon to return 2 cards on his hand into the deck, shuffle, and draw two more cards. As getting surprised by Amon's play, Edo decides to duel by his normal way.

The turn comes to Edo. Drawing a card, he summons [D-Hero Diamond Guy - 4/1400/1600: While this card is face-up on your side of the field, once per turn you can look at the top card of your Deck. If the card is a Normal Spell Card, send it to the Graveyard and you can activate the Normal Spell Card during the Main Phase of your next turn. If the card is not a Normal Spell Card, place it on the bottom of your Deck] onto the field in attack position. He activates its special effect immediately. By its effect, Edo has to draw a card. If it's a normal spell, he has to send it into the cemetery but he can activate it from his graveyard in the next main phase.

Edo draws and gets a normal spell, Destiny Draw, so he discards it into the cemetery. He then declares the attack of D-Hero Diamond Guy to destroy Air Circulator. At this moment, Amon activates the special effect of Air Circulator. When it's destroyed and sent to the cemetery, he can draw a card. Edo realizes that Amon is working on cards on his hand. He sets up two face-down cards, ending his turn.

Deep Diver
Monster Card

The turn moves to Amon. Drawing a card, he summons [Deep Diver - 3/1000/1100: If this card is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to the Cemetery, at the end of the Battle Phase, select 1 card from your deck and place it on the top of your deck] onto the field in defense position. Setting up a face-down card, he ends without doing anything else. Edo is very surprised by another defense monster. He doubts whether Amon doesn't intend to attack, seeing only outnumbered cards on his hand. Hell Kaiser is certain that Amon is aiming to something.

Next turn is with Edo. He draws a card and activates [Destiny Draw - Spell: Send a card that includes D-Hero in its card name in your hand to the Graveyard in order to draw 2 cards from your Deck] in the cemetery according to the special effect of D-Hero Diamond Guy. Destiny Draw's effect allows Edo to draw two more cards. Therefore, Edo draws and gets D-Hero Disk Guy and Clock Tower Prison.

Again, Edo activates the special effect of D-Hero Diamond Guy in this turn to draw a card. If it's a normal spell, he can again discard it into the cemetery and activate it in the next main phase. Edo draws and gets a normal spell, Doctor-D. As he previously did, he sends it into the graveyard and waits for the next activation. Amon just smiles and tells Edo to do what he wants.

Edo looks annoyed by Amon's act before summoning [D-Hero Dunk Guy - 4/1200/1700: or each monster that includes D-Hero in its card name from your hand that you send to the Graveyard, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points] onto the field in attack position. He activates its special effect immediately. To discard D-Hero Disk Guy on his hand into the cemetery, Edo can let D-Hero Dunk Guy inflict 500 damage points to Amon. Thus, Amon's LP decreases to 3500 (4000-500). Amon, anyway, turns back to smile as if nothing happened.

Edo claims that the real play is from now on, activating a field spell, [Clock Tower Prison ~ Yuugoku No Tokei - Field Spell: Put 1 Clock Counter on this card during each of your opponent's Standby Phases. While there are 4 or more Clock Counters on this card, the controller of this card does not receive any Battle Damage. When this card with 4 or more Clock Counters is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 D-Hero Dread Guy from your hand or Deck]. The battlefield is changed to prison-building theme with a clock tower. Amon again just smiles. His act really irritates Edo.

At this moment, Edo opens two of his face-down same trap cards [Eternal Dread - Trap: Place 2 Clock Counters on a face-up Clock Tower Prison]. Amon suddenly looks amazed by the two same trap cards. By one Eternal Dread, time can pass by two quarters (6 hours). There are two Eternal Dreads, so time can turn clockwise by 1 round or 4 quarters. As the clock is ringing, Edo plays a spell card, [Mystical Space Typhoon ~ Cyclone - Quick Play Spell: Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field] to destroy his own Clock Tower Prison.

By the effect of Clock Tower Prison, when it with complete 4 quarters (4 counters) is destroyed and sent to the cemetery, [D-Hero Dread Guy - 8/?/?: If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of Clock Tower Prison, destroy all monsters on your side of the field (except for D-Hero monsters), then you can Special Summon up to 2
D-Hero monsters from your Graveyard. During the turn this card is Special Summoned, D-Hero monsters on your side of the field cannot be destroyed, and all Battle Damage inflicted to the controller of this card becomes 0 during battle involving D-Hero monsters on your side of the field. The ATK and DEF of this card are equal to the combined original ATK of all D-Hero monsters on your side of the field (except this card)
] can be special summoned onto the field.

According to the special effect of D-Hero Dread Guy, when it's special summoned by the effect of Clock Tower Prison, Edo can summons D-Hero monsters from his cemetery. As a result, [D-Hero Disk Guy - 1/300/300: When this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard, draw 2 cards from your Deck] is special summoned onto the field in attack position. By the special effect of D-Hero Disk Guy, Edo can draws two cards. He further explains that the attack points of D-Hero Dread Guy are equal to the combined attack points of all D-Hero monsters on his field.

There are D-Hero Disk Guy (ATK 300), D-Hero Dunk Guy (ATK 1200), and D-Hero Diamond Guy (ATK 1400), on Edo's field, so D-Hero Dread Guy has 2900 (300+1200+1400) attack points. Edo first declares the attack of D-Hero Dunk Guy to destroy Deep Diver. He next declares the direct double attacks of D-Hero Disk Guy and D-Hero Diamond Guy towards Amon. Amon doesn't counter but receives the strikes. His LP decreases quickly to 1800 (3500-300-1400). He is then blown away against the sealed gate. Ekou looks very concerned about him at this point.

Edo hopes that this should be finished. He declares the last attack of D-Hero Dread Guy towards Amon. At this timing, Amon opens his face-down trap card [Dimensional Confinement ~ Jigen Yuuhei - Counter Trap: This card can be activated when your opponent's monster declares an attack. Remove the attacking monster from the game]. He explains that this card can be activated only when Edo attacks. When Amon hasn't finished explaining, Edo interrupts him. Edo feels sorry to Amon and claims that, in the turn D-Hero Dread Guy's summoned, all D-Hero monsters on the field can't be destroyed and no damage can be inflicted.

Amon explains that the effect of his trap isn't to destroy but to remove the attacking monster, D-Hero Dread Guy, from play. Edo becomes very surprised while seeing his monster taken away from the game. Amon then activates the special effect of Deep Diver that when it's destroyed in battle, during the end of the battle phase, he can add a card from his deck onto the top of his deck. Hell Kaiser has just understood the reason why Amon has reinforced the cards on his hand. It's for the most important coming one. Edo can also figure out Amon's plan as well.

Still in Edo's turn, he looks at his cards and plays [Force of Four - Permanent Spell: As long as this card is on the field, both players may only hold up to 4 cards in their hand. When activated, both players will discard cards in to the Cemetery in their hand that exceed 4 cards. Afterwards, cards added to the hand on and after the fifth will be sent to the Cemetery] from his hand. This spell doesn't allow both players to have more than 4 cards on their hands. If the number of cards exceeds 4, they have to discard the excess into the graveyards.

Dimensional Confinement
Trap Card
Force of Four
Spell Card

Edo has only 3 cards on hand now, so he doesn't have to discard anything. Nevertheless, Amon currently has 5 cards on hand, so Edo tells Amon to discard a card. Amon looks very annoyed when he realizes that Edo can finally read his game. Edo tells Amon that he knows that Amon's plan will be complete in the next turn by Exodia, which has just been placed on the top of his deck by the special effect of Deep Diver. Professor Chronos becomes very surprised. To play Exodia the Forbidden One, Amon requires 5 cards on hand. Thus, Edo feels sorry to Amon to remain only 4 cards on hand by the effect of Force of Four.

As Edo has expected, Amon now has four parts of Forbidden Ones on his hand. If he can get the last Exodia the Forbidden One, he will immediately win the game. Anyway, Amon understands the tough condition to have 5 cards on hand in order to play Exodia the Forbidden One very well. Therefore, he thinks that a ritual may be necessary while turning to look at Ekou. As a whole, Amon has no choice but discards the fifth spell card, Ultimate Unsealing Ritualistic Technique, into the cemetery and keeps only four parts of Forbidden Ones. Edo ends his turn at this point.

Ultimate Unsealing Ritualistic Technique
Spell Card

The turn moves to Amon. He draws a card and gets Exodia the Forbidden One as planned, showing it to Edo. As Edo has thought, he tells Amon to discard that card into the cemetery because Amon can't have more than 4 cards on his hand. Once Amon sends Exodia the Forbidden One into the cemetery, he activates the effect of the spell card, [Ultimate Unsealing Ritualistic Technique ~ Kyoukyoku Fuuin Kaihou Gishikijyutsu - Ritual Spell: If this card is in your Cemetery, you can activate this card when there are 5 cards with The Forbidden One are in your hand or Cemetery. Return all cards with The Forbidden One in your Cemetery or hand to your deck. Send 2 cards with The Forbidden One from your hand to your Cemetery and Special Summon 1 Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God from your deck or hand. (Then, shuffle your deck.) If a card with The Forbidden One in its name is sent to the Cemetery as a result other than Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God's effect, return that card to the deck], from the cemetery.

When this ritual spell is activated, very bright light begins to glow from the bottom ground up to the top. Edo and Hell Kaiser notice the picture of Exodia attached to top ceiling. The light gets smaller and finally becomes a little glowing circle on the puddle.

"To rule this world, I must have Exodia as my servant. But to release Exodia, I need a sacrifice. The sacrifice has to be the one I love", Amon explains.

"The beloved person...", Ekou says as looking uncertain.

"There is only one woman I love. Ekou, it must be you", Amon reveals while looking at Ekou.

Edo and Hell Kaiser have just realized that the sacrifice ritual is going to be performed here at the end. Professor Chronos is getting very scared. Ekou cries after hearing Amon's words that she's his lover. She decides to walk into the puddle without listening to Edo and Professor Chronos trying to stop her. Ekou is walking towards the glowing circle on Amon's side by her own will as Edo is calling her loudly.

to be continued...

Judai Sacrifice? What is that sacrifice? Amon, what are you thinking?
Sho Amon has searched for the ultimate power by becoming a demon and sacrificing Ekou.
Judai That is...Amon! Stop!
Sho Next time, [Summon Exodios the Ultimate Forbidden God!]!
Judai Edo, stop Amon! Please stop!
Sho Power forcing to sacrifice...that's the matter of love...
