At somewhere in the different world, thunder is bolting. An old man and a boy are sitting around a campfire. The boy has a wooden plate looking like a duel disk in his arm. He is practicing how to draw a card. Then, O'Brien and Jim covering their whole bodies by long clothes walk toward them. The old man calls the boy's name, [Nero], and tells him to stop the drawing practice. The boy looks a bit amazed while O'Brien and Jim are coming closer to talk to them. Jim shows a picture of Judai to Nero and the old man, asking whether they have seen him anywhere. The old man is afraid to say that he doesn't know and asks whether Judai is a duelist. Jim nods his head to answer.

The old man suggests them give up looking for Judai because all duelists wandering around this place have already become preys. Jim asks what the old man is talking about. The old man doesn't answer immediately. He turns to ask Nero what he will do if he keeps playing the wooden duel disk until people are misunderstanding that he is a duelist. Nero answers confidently that he is going to become a duelist to protect the old man, his grandpa. The old man looks happy to hear that and gives him a smile.

Battle Footballers
Monster Card

Right after that, the old man looks scared and calls Nero. Nero asks what's wrong. O'Brien and Jim notice two [Battle Footballer - 4/1000/2100] behind them walking toward Nero. The old man holds Nero quickly and says that Battle Footballers are the duelist hunters of Supreme King army. Battle Footballers call any duelist to report himself, or they will kill everybody. As they are laughing, the old man is very afraid that this may be the end and holds Nero tightly. Jim tells the old man and Nero to step back while he and O'Brien step forward. Both of them throw their clothes away and reveal themselves to Battle Footballers. Battle Footballers realize that Jim and O'Brien are duelists and think that this should be interesting. They all prepare their duel disks and Jim and O'Brien declare to begin a duel.

Nero Draw!
The Old Man

Nero, Stop it now!

Jim This guy, I'm looking for Yuki Judai. Have you seen him?
The Old Man I do not know. Is he a duelist?
Jim Yes
The Old Man I'm sorry but you'd better give up. All duelists who wander here alone have become preys.
Jim What are you talking about?
The Old Man Nero! If you play with that kind of thing, what will you do if you're misjudged to be a duelist.
Nero I'm going to be a duelist, and I'm going to protect grandpa.
The Old Man Nero!
Nero What, grandpa?
The Old Man The duelists hunters of Supreme King army...
Battle Footballer 1 All duelists come out...
Battle Footballer 2 ...or we'll kill you all! Ha ha ha!
The Old Man Then... this is the end...
Jim Step back.
Battle Footballer 2 Duelists?
Battle Footballer 1 How interesting!
Jim, O'Brien Duel!

At Supreme King's castle, many monsters are calling Supreme King repeatedly. Supreme King is now at the top hall of the castle and looking outside. He is in an armor suit with a red blowing cloth on his back. Then, his five servants come in to report their mission progress. Chaos Sorcerer reports that he has already eliminated the east side completely. Guardian Baou next reports that he has already taken over the north side. Skull Knight reports that it's about time to take over the west side. Meanwhile, the monsters outside the castle are still calling Supreme King. Then, Skilled Dark Magician and Skilled White Magician walk in to join the others, reporting that only the south side remains now. They all call Supreme King for his next order.

Note: Actually, the real translating of Skilled White Magician should be Skilled White Priest according to Japanese name, "Madoushi", on the card. Since OCG names it Skilled White Magician to correspond to Skilled Dark Magician, we keep calling it by OCG name.

Chaos Sorcerer We've eliminated the east side completely.
Guardian Baou

We've taken over the north side as well.

Skull Knight It's just a matter of time before we take over the west.
Skilled Dark Magician Supreme King-Sama...
Skilled White Magician Now, only the south remains.
All Monsters Supreme King-Sama, we're waiting for your order.

Jim and O'Brien can finally beat two Battle Footballers that then turn into particles of light and disappear. Nero is very excited to see that Jim and O'Brien are actually duelists. The old man thanks them for their help. Jim and O'Brien are curious about the group of Battle Footballers that the old man called duelist hunters. The old man is surprised by that Jim and O'Brien don't know about the story. He explains that soldiers of Supreme King have been capturing duelists back to Supreme King's castle where nobody has returned alive.

O'Brien looks surprised after hearing the person, Supreme King. The old man tells him that Supreme King is a duelist of terror who appeared suddenly in this world and who is trying to take control this world by force. Jim doubts shortly whether Judai may be at Supreme King's castle. O'Brien thinks that Judai shouldn't be arrested easily by his strong skills. Jim would like to agree, but he thinks that present Judai is different.

Nero So these brothers are duelists!
The Old Man Thank you very much.
Jim That group..
O'Brien ... asked if there were duelist hunters here...
The Old Man Didn't you know.. Soldiers of Supreme King have been arresting those seeming to be a duelist, taking them to the Castle of Supreme King where it's said nobody has come back alive.
O'Brien Supreme King!?
The Old Man The duelist of terror who appeared in this world so suddenly. He's trying to take over this world by force.
Jim Could Judai be at the Supreme King's castle....?
O'Brien

Considering his skills...Judai shouldn't get caught so easily.

Jim But Judai at the moment...

Jim reminds himself of the previous duel Judai had with Brron. In that duel, Manjyome, Asuka, Kenzan, and Fubuki turned into particles of light or died. At the end of the duel, Brron told Judai that blood of his friends had been absorbed into sand of the arena. Even Johan had been dead already. After that duel during a night, Jim noticed Judai waking up and walking to the graves of Manjyome, Asuka, Kenzan, and Fubuki. Duel disks were placed on 4 piles of sand looking like their graves. Judai looked at the graves of his friends and looked very sad. Jim followed Judai there, called him, and told him that it wasn't Judai's fault.

Jim tells O'Brien that although he tried to talk to Judai at that time, Judai didn't answer as if his soul had already gone out from him. Thus, he doubts whether Judai now still has spirit left to fight. O'Brien thinks that it should be very dangerous if they don't hurry to find Judai. Jim agrees because Judai is a friend. Karen begins to groan, so Jim has to tell her that Karen is also his friend. Then, Jim and O'Brien look at the blue comet in the sky together. Jim sees the picture of the comet turning red and falling down. He says that the comet is going somewhere and falling toward him. Then, his eye is suddenly hurt until he has to hold it. O'Brien is worried about him and asks whether Jim is hurt somewhere. Jim thanks O'Brien for his concern. This right eye is now whispering him.

When Jim was young, he was walking into the forgest. He was very annoyed when he found animal traps of poachers everywhere. Little Jim was calling for Karen, asking where she had been. Karen finally appeared and walked toward him. Little Jim suddenly noticed a trap in the way Karen was moving to, so he jumped over Karen to keep her out off the way. Both he and Karen accidenly fell into a river, and Jim's right eye seemed to hit something. This accidence injured his right eye and caused him to bandage it all the time. Jim tells O'Brien that he wants to save his friend, Judai. (As encouraged by his right eye).

Brron Hahahaha! Well, I told you already. Those people's blood has seeped into sand of this field. That boy called Johan is dead, too.
Jim Judai! It isn't your fault.
Jim Even if I tried to talk to him, Judai did not answer as if soul had went out of Judai. I wonder if Judai now still has some spirit left to fight.
O'Brien If we don't find him soon, he'll be in danger.
Jim Ah, because we're friends. And yeah! you're a friend, too.
O'Brien Comet?
Jim That comet is going towards somewhere. That star is falling towards me.
O'Brien What's wrong, Jim? Are you hurt?
Jim Thanks, O'Brien. This right eye is whispering me...

Jim is driving a fossil rider while O'Brien, the old man, and Nero are on the back. He drives very fast until most people are a bit scared. Jim smiles and asks O'Brien whether the road is so rough that O'Brien becomes drowsy. Karen seems to be sleeping well by his driving. They are very close to the village, and Nero points to the destination in front. At the entrance of the village, there appears explosion and three small monsters are throwing bombs to the gate

Burgandy - Total Defense Shogun
Monster Card

A warrior with a big shield and sword appears on the wall. He is actually a monster spirit, [Total Defense Shogun ~ Settai Hougyo Shougun - 6/1550/2500: This card is changed to Defense Position when it is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned successfully. This card can attack while it is in Defense Position. If this card attacks while in Defense Position, apply the ATK of the card for damage calculation]. As getting surprised, the monster drops the bomb in front and accidently explodes itself. The warrior tells them to be prepared and pay for it before jumping down to charge the the three monsters.

At the same time, Jim, O'Brien, Nero, and the old man are arriving the village. Jim jumps down from the rider and tells the warrior that he will help him. Seeing Jim standing by his duel disk, the warrior misunderstands that Jim is with these monsters and attacks him. Nero and the old man still sitting on the rider are trying to stop the warrior, whose name is actually [Burgandy], and explain that Jim is an ally. It seems too late because Burgandy already knocked Jim down until he lost his consciousness. The three monsters take this moment to run away from people. O'Brien is calling Jim and getting worried about his friend.

As Jim is losing consciousness, he is dreaming of the old days. At Duel Academia, Jim was walking toward Osiris Red. He then heard Judai, Sho, and Kenzan talking and doing something in front of the dorm. Sho was stopping Judai from what he's doing, but Judai insisted to move on. Kenzan supported Judai and thought that Sho was just a scardy cat. Jim realizes that this dream was what happened in his memory when he had just entered Duel Academia. He walked in and asked three people directly what they were doing. In the middle of the group was Karen while Judai and Kenzan were carrying a lot of food. It's apparent that they were trying to feed Karen.

Sho was afraid that the owner of Karen had already come. Kenzan smiled and tried to give an excuse that they did for good purpose. Judai explained that he just wanted to know what kind of food Karen ate. Jim was sorry to Judai and said that Karen wouldn't eat anything coming from anybody rather than himself. Judai was impressed by that Jim seemed to train it well. At the same time, Karen was walking from the group toward Jim. Jim seemed to be mad after hearing that. He said that Karen was his friend, so Judai shouldn't have compared her to a pet. Judai apologized Jim for saying that, telling him not to be angry. He said that if Jim and he were friends and Jim was Karen's friend, he should be Karen's friend, too.

Judai called Karen to confirm his words. Karen began to walk slowly from Jim to Judai. Judai took a sausage as Karen was looking at it with her big eyes. He peeled and gave it to her, and Karen seemed to eat the sausage along with his arm. Sho and Kenzan are very shocked, wondering whether Judai would be safe. Then, Karen slowly stepped back and released Judai's arm. She ate only the sausage. Judai was very excited to that Karen finally ate what came from him. Both Sho and Kenzan were very surprised, so was Jim.

Judai saw that it seemed yummy to Karen, so he offerred her another. Karen then took it with a peel, and Judai hurried to stop. He told Karen that if she took a peel, she would have a stomach ache. Jim looked at Judai and Karen and smiled. For long, he had thought that Karen was only his best friend, but Judai could make friend with Karen very easily. Judai gave Karen one more as claiming their good friendship.

Jim This place, Duel Academia?
Sho Big brother~ don't do it~
Judai It's all right.
Kenzan Marufuji senpai is a scardy cat.~
Jim (This is memory of what happened shortly after I came to Duel Academia) Hey guys. What are you doing?
Kenzan Ah... we are doing for good purpose~
Judai Well, I am wondering what kind of food she eats.
Jim Sorry, but Karen doesn't eat anything that's given by people rather than me, Judai.
Judai Anyways, it seems that you have tamed it well.
Jim Tame? No! Karen is my friend! Don't compare her to pet or toy.
Judai Sorry, Don't be angry. Then, if you say so, I'm Karen's friend too, right? I mean, Jim and I are friends, right? So if Jim is Karen's friend, I'm Karen's friend, too. Right Karen?
Sho Big brother!
Judai Wow! she ate it, she ate it!
Kenzan I was surprised..
Sho Karen is too dynamic.
Judai Is it so? Is it tasty? Do you want more? There are plenty. Hey! Don't eat them with peels on! You'll get stomach ache.
Jim (At that time, I thought. Karen was my only best friend in big nature. But Judai made friend with Karen so easily.)
Judai Help yourself~ we are friends indeed.

Claret - Spirit of Harp
Monster Card

At a cottage in the village, Jim is laying down as Karen is always by his side. He finally wakes up and the first thing coming from his mouth is Judai's name. There is a lady playing a harp on an upper level. She realizes that Jim has finally got up and introduces herself as [Claret]. She is actually a monster spirit, [Spirit of The Harp ~ Harp No Sei - 4/800/2000]. Claret tells Jim that Karen hasn't been separate from Jim since he lost his consciousness. It seems to her that Karen was trying to take care of him. Jim holds himself up and thanks Karen for her care.

Burgandy then enters the cottage and apologizes what he did because he misunderstood that Jim was with Supreme King. He smiles and asks whether Jim is still hurt. Jim tells him that he is fine. Burgandy has already known from the old man that Jim and O'Brien are looking for a friend. O'Brien is coming after Burgandy and says that there is no clue of Judai found in this village. Burgandy is sorry to say that he would like Jim and O'Brien to give up and stay at the village. Burgandy has heard that they are brave men. If they are caught by Supreme King, they certainly won't return alive. People in this village are who escape from Supreme King's army. They are trying to gather any friend who wants to fight Supreme King and brings peace back. Thus, Burgandy wants two of them to stay.

Jim thanks Burgandy, but he is afraid that he has to go. Burgandy doubts where Jim intends to go. Jim thinks that Judai may be captured at Supreme King's castle, so he intends to go there. Burgandy tells him to stop saying and doing such a stupid thing as Claret asks why Jim has to go there for the person. Jim answers shortly, "Of course, because he is a friend". O'Brien smiles before deciding to follow Jim.

Both of them begin to leave the village while many villagers are sending them at the gate. Nero says goodbye to them, hoping them to return and see each other again. Burgangy thinks that they are very brave while Claret tells him that possibility isn't 0. Some mirable may happen. Burgandy agrees. If they hadn't trusted in miracle, they would have been killed in this world already. Burgandy looks that the blue comet in the sky and is very sick of it. How many times he looks at it, he feels that it's such a weird star.

As Jim is driving, he thinks that O'Brien should have stayed safely at the village. O'Brien accepts that it's a mission beyond limit. However, as a soldier, he must not betray his friend. Jim smiles before saying that he is going fly (speed up).

summary - second period
episode 138 summarized by Janime

Jim and O'Brien are moving towards Supreme King's castle following Burgandy's direction. Supreme King is at the north after the ravine and is the biggest middle castle. O'Brien says that they have finally left the ravine. Behind the ravine is a tall tower, which is Supreme King's castle, in the mid. There is a mountain looking like a fortress in the front. Jim and O'Brien doubt whether the middle tower is really Supreme King's castle. Jim accelerates the engine and speeds up toward the castle.

When they arrive at the entrance of the front fortress, Jim is surprised by that there is no sign of anybody. O'Brien doubts whether this is a trap. Jim feels that there is something more than that. O'Brien tells him that the captain of this mission is Jim, so Jim should do what he wants (O'Brien's background is a soldier, so he is usually a follower under commands rather than a leader). Jim thanks O'Brien for that regard before getting off the rider and moving inside the fortress.

Burgandy You can say that the north side beyond the canyon is Supreme King's area. The biggest castle in the middle is Supreme King's castle.
O'Brien We came out of the valley! That is...
Jim Supreme King's castle? I'm going straightforward at once! What? There's no one here?
O'Brien A trap?
Jim Something more than that.
O'Brien You're the captain of this mission. You do whatever you want.
Jim Thanks, O'Brien

Kozaky
Monster Card

Inside the fortress is a big and wide cavern. Jim and O'Brien are walking along the way with many small pools of lava on both sides. They notice many broken duel disks inside the pools. Jim is very curious what's going on here. Then, there is a man appearing in front of him. He chuckles and says that he hasn't expected any foolish person walking in here by himself. Here is the holy place in where Supreme King captures souls of duelists to create an ultimate card (Super Fusion as mentioned in episode 136). The man appears to be a monster spirit, [Kozaky - 1/400/400].

Jim asks directly where the taken duelists have been. Kozaky even laughs louder, saying that a fool is still a fool. The legend of Supreme King has begun by fulfilling transmission of butchery. Even a kid knows what will happen to a loser (The duelist will be killed and his soul will be transferred to this place). Jim asks whether there is any single one who survives. Kozaky calls him a fool again since if there had been someone remaining, he would haven't talked said all of these. He introduces himself to Jim and O'Brien that his name is Kozaky, the one who does research on the ultimate card, and asks whether they feel scared of him.

At this moment, O'Brien is afraid that Judai might end up here as well. Jim can't accept this and trust the words of this small fry (He calls Kozaky "Sako", favorite word of Kaiba that means "Small Fish/Fry" or "Trash"). He doesn't think that Judai is dead. Kozaky gets very mad when called as a small fry. He can't accept that word, dances around, and says that he can't forgive Jim who called him like this. Thus, O'Brien thinks that questioning Supreme King should be the fastest way. Jim agrees and suggests to split up to find the way to invade Supreme King's castle. Kozaky can't forgive them for their conversation while they are ignoring him. He says that Supreme King isn't at the castle, and he with the army has already gone to the south area in order to unite the world. At this point, he asks whether they have been overwhelmed already.

Jim looks suddenly concerned when he hears about the south. Kozaky adds that there is nobody else other than him. O'Brien tells Jim to return to the village quickly because Burgandy and other villages should be in danger. Their village is at the south. Kozaky certainly doesn't let them go easily. He says that he hates being ignored and challenges them into a duel. If he can catch a thief here, he thinks that he will be able to serve Supreme King by his side again. Jim knows that this will waste time, but he still declares to be Kozaky's opponent. He takes off his belt to release Karen from his back, gives his bag to O'Brien, and stands by his duel disk. O'Brien tells him not to be reckless before stepping back. Then, the duel between Jim and Kozaky begins.

Jim What is this place?
Kozaky Kuhuhuhu~ I didn't know that there will be foolish ones walking in here by themselves. This is the holy place where Supreme King takes away souls of many duelists to complete an ultimate card.
Jim Where are the captured duelists?!
Kozaky Kyahahaha~ Foolish ones are foolish, the legend of Supreme King-Sama is not only fulfilled by Supreme King's castle. It began by fulfilling transmission in here at butchery of death. Even three-year-old kid knows what happens to duelists who have lose in a duel.
Jim No one... Not even one has survived?
Kozaky You are so foolish~ If there had been some remaining, I wouldn't have said 'transmission'!? And I'm the one in charge of research on the ultimate card! I am Kozaky! Are you scared?
O'Brien Judai... in here?
Jim No! I can not believe what this small fry is saying! Judai can't die!
Kozaky Small Fry?! I can not forgive you for calling me a small fry!
O'Brien In this state, attacking Supreme King would be the fastest way.
Jim OK! Let's split up and find the way to invade the castle.
Kozaky I can not forgive the one who ignores me! Supreme King does not stay at Supreme King's castle. He's already headed to the south with the army...to unite this world. How is that? Isn't that shocking?
Jim The south?
Kozaky Yes, there's no one else in this castle other than me.
O'Brien Let's return quickly. Burgundy and others are in danger.
Jim I see.
Kozaky Cheeez! I said I hated being ignored! Let's duel. If I can catch theives in castle, I'll be able to serve Supreme King by his side again!
O'Brien What?
Jim Though it's waste of time, I'll be his opponent.
O'Brien Don't loosen yourself!
Jim, Kozaky Duel!

The first turn is with Jim. Drawing a card, he summons [Weathering Soldier - 4/2000/1200: {During each End Phase, decrease this card's ATK by 600 points.}] onto the field in defense position and ends his turn quickly.

Kozaky calls for his turn, drawing a card and summoning [Chaosrider Gustaph - 4/1400/1500: You can remove up to 2 Spell Cards in your Graveyard from play to increase the ATK of this monster by 300 points for each card removed from play until the end of your opponent's next turn. This effect can only be used once during your turn] onto the field in attack position. Next, he plays spell card [Dual Summon - Spell: You can normal summon twice in this turn] that allows him to do another normal summon in this turn. Thus, he summons another Chaosrider Gustaph onto the field in attack position.

By this, O'Brien is concerned by that Jim may be attacked directly (Weathering Soldier will be destroyed by one Chaosrider Gustaph, and Jim will receive direct attack from another Chaosrider Gustaph). Anyway, Kozaky hasn't done his whole play yet. He plays another spell card [Revival of Dokurorider ~ Skullrider No Fukkatsu - Ritual Spell: This card is used to summon Dokurorider. Sacrifice a card with Level 6 or more from your hand and or your side of the field] to call Dokurider by giving a level-6 monster, [Gadget Soldier - 6/1800/2000], as a tribute to summon [Dokurorider ~ Skullrider - 6/1900/1850: This monster can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Magic Card, Revival of Dokurorider. You must also offer monsters whose total Level Stars equal 6 or more as a Tribute from the field or your hand] onto the field in attack position.

At this moment, Kozaky activates the special effect of one Chaosrider Gustaph. Removing two spell cards, Dual Summon and Revival of Dokurorider, in the cemetery from play, he can increase the attack points of Chaosrider Gustaph by 300 for each card. Therefore, the total attack points of Chaosrider Gustaph go up to 2000 (1400+300*2). O'Brien is very worried that, by all of these, Jim's LP will be reduced significantly and his LP will remain very little. Kozaky says that he will make Jim repent to what he previously called himself a small fry. Then, he declares the attack of his three monsters, "Murders of Blast Commanders, The reckless superiors, Triple Attacks!".

Note: There is some funny things included in this dialog of Kozaky. He actually says, "Shi No Koroshi Bokusou Gundan, Bousou Jyoutou Sanren Attack", which means as described above. Kanji appearing on screen is only "Bousou Jyoutou Sanren Attack". Actually, "Sanren Attack" texts don't have any meaning about triple attacks. The texts themselves don't mean anything. It's just mixing of meaningless words to get the sound, Tripple Attacks.

Three rider monsters move quickly toward Jim and his monster. One Chaosrider Gustaph with original attack points of 1400 destroys Weathering Soldier, Dokurorider attacks Jim directly, and another Chaosrider Gustaph with 2000 attack points gives him another direct attack. These reduce Jim's LP dramatically to 100 (4000-2000-1900). O'Brien and Karen become very worried about him. Jim holds his body hit by the rider monsters while saying with closed eyes that it's nothing. Compared to the pain in heart that Judai is receiving, this pain means nothing. Judai didn't go with many people but held responsibility in his own arms. He even wandered alone in the world that he didn't know anything about.

Jim draws a card actively and plays spell card [Fossil Fusion ~ Kaseki Yuugou - Fossil Fusion - Spell: Remove the monsters listed on a Fusion Monster Card that include Fossil in its card name from your and your opponent's Graveyard from the play, and select 1 Fusion Monster that includes Fossil in its card name from your Fusion Deck and Special Summon it (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon)] that can fuse Weathering Soldier in his cemetery and Gadget Soldier in Kozaky's graveyard into [Mesozoic Fossil Machine Skullwagon ~ Chuuseidai Kaseki Machine Skullwagon - ?/1700].

Next, he plays spell card [Time Stream - Spell: Pay half of your Life Points. Target 1 Fusion Monster on your side of the field with Cenozoic or Mesozoic in its name to activate, and change the type of a monster in your opponent's Cemetery designated for Fusion by that monster into the target's type. Return that monster to the Fusion deck and Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster identical to the target's type, disregarding Summoning Requirements. At this time, if you targeted a Cenozoic, choose a Mesozoic and Special Summon it. If you targeted a Mesozoic, choose a Paleozoic and Special Summon it. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.)] that can make Mesozoic Fossil Machine Skullwagon evolve into a fusion monster.

Jim declares the first attack of Paleozoic Fossil Machine Skullconvey toward Chaosrider Gustaph with 2000 attack points immediately. Chaosrider Gustaph explodes, and Kozaky's LP decreases to 3900 (4000+2000-2100). Then, the second strike of Paleozoic Fossil Machine Skullconvey hits another Chaosrider Gustaph with 1400 original attack points. Chaosrider Gustaph explodes, and Kozaky's LP further decreases to 3200 (3900+1400-2100). Lastly, the third attack Paleozoic Fossil Machine Skullconvey destroys Dokurorider, reducing Kozaky's LP to 3000 (3200+1900-2100). Kozaky's field is now totally wiped out.

Kozaky claims that he still has much higher 3000 attack points compared to little 50 LP of Jim. Jim doesn't say anything as Paleozoic Fossil Machine Skullconvey is disappearing. He walks back to O'Brien and tells him to go. Kozaky is very mad and tells Jim to stop from going out because they are still in the mid of the duel. Jim replies that the game has already ended while putting Karen onto his back and receiving his bag from O'Brien. He explains the special effect of Paleozoic Fossil Machine Skullconvey that it can inflict additional damage to the opponent by 1000 points for each monster it can destroy in battle.

Three monsters of Kozaky were destroyed, so Kozaky has to received 3000 damage points (3*1000), which are exactly equal to his LP. Many rider pieces fall from the sky onto Kozaky, reducing his LP to 0 (3000-3000). Jim and O'Brien are about to leave the fortress. They suddenly hurry to hide themselves after seeing something moving toward them. Jim doubts whether it's Supreme King army. If the army returns, Jim is certain that the village of Burgandy might be attacked already. O'Brien tells Jim that their current position isn't the place to hide, suggesting him go higher.

Both of them move up to observe at the top of the fortress and hear voice calling "Supreme King ~ Haoh" along the way from the army that seems able to catch many duelists. They notice smoke emerging from the direction of Burgandy's village. This makes them sure that the village has already been attacked. Jim is very upset to what's happening. At the village, Supreme King army attacked the villagers, and all cottages were burnt. Nero stood up in front to protect the villagers and faced Supreme King monsters including Vampire Lord, Neo Aqua Madoor, and Amphibian Beast. Jim seems able to see the situation by his right eye and even sees the picture of Nero's wooden duel disk dropping onto the ground. He closes his eyes before uttering that he doesn't understand how Supreme King and his army could do such a cruel thing like this.

O'Brien points Jim to look at a warrior walking slowing from the village at far distance. The warrior is actually Burgandy, and he seems to have serious injury. Jim realizes that Burgandy is saying something but he is too far for him to hear. O'Brien reads Burgandy's mouth and interprets, "They can't match with Supreme King. Run!" (As a soldier, O'Brien has ability to read person's speaking from his moving mouth). In other words, Burganday tries to tell them that Supreme King is too strong to be defeated, so they should run away. Then, Burgandy turns into particles of light and disappears, leaving only his shield and sword onto the ground.

O'Brien is very upset as Jim is calling Burgandy loudly. Jim is at his limit and says that he can no longer forgive the person doing this. He runs on quickly to the other side of the fortress, and there appears the castle of Supreme King. Supreme King is standing at the entrance along with some monsters. They are looking at the duelists, whom they can capture, moving inside the castle. Jim calls Supreme King, says loudly that he won't forgive him, and finally challenges him into a duel. Supreme King with a mask, an armor suit, and a red cloth on his back then turns to Jim. O'Brien looks amazed by the appearance of Supreme King.

Supreme King opens his mask and says by familiar voice that he will accept that challenge. At this moment, O'Brien and Jim are pretty shocked by the true appearance and the owner of this familiar voice. Supreme King appears to be their dear friend, Judai, who is now looking like a different person with evilly golden eyes.

Jim Why? How could they do such a cruel thing like this?
O'Brien Jim, there!
Jim Burgundy! What? He is saying something.
O'Brien You can not match with Supreme King. R-u-n!
Jim Burgundy! Burgandy! I can't forgive him... I can't forgive him!
O'Brien Wait Jim! Jim!
Jim Supreme King! I can't forgive you! Let's have a duel!
O'Brien That's Supreme King...
Supreme King That challenge. I'll take it.

to be continued...

Jim What is this? Judai, you have become [Haoh ~ Supreme King]!?
Sho Haoh Judai~ How ominous! Judai is no longer the person whom we know.
Jim No, I understand. This right eye tells me. Judai is still connected to us by his spirit.
Sho Next time, [Dark Fusion! Inferno Wing!]
Jim Haoh Judai...No! Spiritual Friend, Judai! Duel me and show your true form!
