episode 132 summarized by Janime

Previously, people could return to the original world safely except for Johan. They planned to go back to the different world again in order to save him. For this purpose, a lot of energy was required to reopen the gate to the different world. Judai, Kenzan, Manjyome, Asuka, Sho, Misawa, Jim, O'Brien, and Fubuki summoned their ace cards, combined their power together, and fired it to the gate. The gate was finally open. Bright light spreaded out and comsumed everybody, including Professor Chronos, Ekou, Hell Kaiser, and Edo staying nearby, inside. People fell into another dimension and appeared in a strange place.

As everybody is losing consciousness, Judai first wakes up. He finds himself in a dark place surrounded by hollow mountains.

Misawa is looking around the unfamiliar place looking different from the place he came last time. He doubts whether the dimension was twisted, moving down to work on his analysis on the ground. Everyone has already got up. O'Brien puts his cards in his duel disk, having ready as usual. He tells people that he will go to check those mountains and recommends everybody not move from here. Fubuki counts him on this job. Meanwhile, Sho is looking around, looking for Judai.

Fubuki has never come to the different world before. He becomes very amazed and asks whether this is actually the place where Duel Academia was previously flown to. Asuka corrects her brother that the place is now different. As Misawa is writing his analysis on the ground, Kenzan says that he will go with O'Brien as well. Jim also offers his help because he has better knowledge about geography. O'Brien refuses and tells them to leave this job on him. While people are discussing, Sho brings their attention back by noting that Judai isn't here. Everyone is getting surprised as looking around for Judai.

Misawa No.. no way. There was other factor in the twist of dimension?
O'Brien I'm going to check out that mountain now. Everyone don't move from here.
Fubuki Okay, please~
Sho Eh?
Fubuki By the way, this place is amazing. So this was the dimension where Duel Academia had flown to?
Asuka No, it's different.
Kenzan I'll go too.
Jim No, if your checking geography of this place, then me.
O'Brien No. Leave this place to me.
Sho Wait, Big brother is not here.

On the other side, Judai is walking along the hollow mountains. He strongly believes that Johan must be somewhere in this world as reminding himself of Johan's last time. Johan gave him a smile and left the rest on him while activating tremendous power of Ultimate Gem God Rainbow Dragon. Then, he screamed and disappeared in light. Judai now shows pain on his face, leaning towards a hollow hill nearby. Wherever he is touching is suddenly broken as Judai is falling inside. He seems to fall down to underground cavern and gets very confused by where this place is. Meanwhile, O'Brien going after Judai's footsteps discovers the hole where Judai fell.

Judai is walking along underground caver and seeing a rail. Then, a small cart with two winged beast monsters is moving along the rail towards him. Judai steps away to let the cart pass and hide himself. He recognizes that those winged beast monsters are [Kurama ~ Drake - 3/800/800]. This makes him sure that monsters are materialized in this world as well. When he is about to summon a monster, O'Brien appears and places his hand on Judai's duel disk to stop him. O'Brien tells him that it's too dangerous and makes things even worse to summon monsters here. Both of them wait until the cart runs pass enough and then run off towards the rail where the card has just came.

Judai (There must be Johan somewhere in this world) Johan!
Johan I'll leave the back to you~
Judai It hurts... What is it, this place?
O'Brien That!
Judai Um? It seems like a rail. Drake! So the monsters in this world are materialized too? O'brien!
O'Brien Don't just summon monsters. It only makes things worse.

At the origin, people still don't move following O'Brien's suggestion. Misawa is working on his calculation, writing down his equation along the hill down. He is now in a blind spot from people. Misawa believes that his calculation is correct, but there is something missing. He checks time and atmosphere data again and continues his analysis on the ground. Suddenly, a mountain behind him is broken, and Misawa falls with sand inside the hole. At the same time, Sho and Kenzan staying on the hill are very worried by whether Judai will be fine.

Misawa falls to the same underground cavern where Judai did previously. As getting confused where this place is, a familiar person appears behind him. On the other side, O'Brien recommends Judai find the way out from here as soon as possible. Judai tells O'Brien to hold on because he has something he needs to do. O'Brien realizes well that Judai wants to save Johan quickly. Anyway, he tells Judai that Judai shouldn't act alone by his guess. To rescue Johan isn't only Judai's problem. Judai faces down and looks sad suddenly.

Then, O'Brien holds Judai's cloth and moves him away quickly. He prepares to draw his gun duel disk as noticing an unknown lady appear in front of him. Nevertheless, Judai recognizes her well that she is Taniya, one of the seven stars in Season I. O'Brien asks whether Judai really knows her. Judai explains and recalls his intense duel against Taniya (episode37). Misawa then appears behind her. The familiar person whom he saw previously is actually Taniya.

Misawa Why? My calculation equation must have been correct. Something's missing... Atmosphere is OK... Total time?? Yes, that must be it!
Sho I wonder if big brother will be okay?
Kenzan I'm worried.
Misawa What is it, this place? You... you are!
O'Brien

Let's find an exit and get out of here quickly!

Judai Hold on a sec! There's something I just gotta do...
O'Brien O'Brien: I understand that. But you shouldn't act solely on a hunch! Saving Johan isn't just your problem alone!
Judai Taniya?
Taniya Yuki Judai?
O'Brien Do you know her?
Judai Yeah.

Misawa, O'Brien, Taniya, and Judai are walking together to the way out off the underground cavern. Taniya explained that something happened to her world and she was then brought into this different world. She leads everybody to the exit, and there appears a village full of hollow towers. O'Brien is very surprised by why this place is so bright despite the fact that he is underground. People look down and see a group of [Stealth Bird - 3/700/1700: You can flip this card into face-down Defense Position once per turn during your Main Phase. When this card is Flip Summoned successfully, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points] controlling [Wood Remains ~ Mori no Shinabiru - 3/1000/900] walking in line and threatening [Petit Angel - 3/600/900].

Taniya explains that many groups of monsters have been brought from other dimensions to this different world. They have no idea and are ruled by the native winged beasts. Judai turns to ask Taniya whether there is anything he can do. Taniya points Judai to look at the middle tower looking like a pillar with circle layers. It's the main base of the winged beasts. O'Brien looks at the top of the pillar installed by power station. He tells Judai that he can come up with a good plan.

Judai, Taniya, Misawa, and O'Brien are running on the way to the center tower. Judai hears crying of [Haniwa - 2/500/500]. He looks down and finds Drake whipping Haniwa and forcing it to work. Haniwa cries and gets scared, begging Drake for mercy. Judai can't stand seeing Haniwa being bullied, so he is about to save it. O'Brien holds Judai's arm to stop him. He explains that if Judai acts now, everything won't follow the plan and will mean nothing. Thus, Judai has to hold his anger and moves up to the upper level of the center tower as planned.

Taniya A while back, an incident occurred in the world I inhabited, and it was suddenly sucked into a different dimensional space...and when I came to, I had been brought here.
O'Brien It's below the surface, yet it's so bright!
Taniya There are a lot of my friends who were also brought from the other dimension, and while I don't have a clue to anything, they're being controlled by those Winged Beast-types.
Judai Taniya. Is there anything I can do?
Taniya

We weren't doing nothing as well. Look! That is their main base, the airport of winged beasts. If I send signal, there is a way for friends to arrange plan to attack over there.

O'Brien Hey. Do you know where is the power station of that place on top?
Taniya Eh? Yes.
Judai What is it, O'brien?
O'Brien I have an idea.
Taniya This is it!
Drake Work quickly! Work like an ant! Hey! Won't you work!
Haniwa Just go easy on me this time~
Judai That foul thing!
O'Brien If you go in right now, everything will turn into nothing.

Everybody moves up to the upper level of the center tower. Taniya explains that above is the power system. They notice a monster guarding on this level and try to hide themselves from it. O'Brien notices the power system on the top of this tower. He thinks that if he can destroy it, the whole city will turn dark. Taniya thinks that it's such a good plan because winged beasts are mostly weak in darkness. O'Brien plans to distract the guard so that people can take that time to destroy the power system.

Without listening carefully, Judai runs out and says that he will do this job by himself. He tells people to destroy the power system while he is going to lure the guard by duel. Taniya is afraid to stop him that Judai shouldn't duel. O'Brien looks confused since he hasn't known the whole fact yet. Judai stands in front of the winged beast, and there appears [Harpie's Brother ~ Birdman - 4/1800/600]. Birdman turns back and asks who Judai is. He claims that here isn't the place where a low-class resident can come up. Judai stands by his duel disk and replies that he isn't a resident here.

Seeing Judai react, Birdman doubts whether he is also a warrior. Judai doesn't answer and doubts whether Birdman is happy to manipulate weak monsters. Birdman also doubts whether Judai really has courage to challenge him into a duel. Judai replies firmly that he will duel him. Taniya is trying to stop Judai, asking whether Judai really knows what he is doing. Birdman sees Judai still hold his duel disk and realizes that he won't change his mind. Judai confirms again that he will duel. Thus, Birdman accepts the challenge and hopes to see the duel of warrior with pride. He stands by his duel disk, and both of them declare to start the duel together.

Taniya tells Judai that duel in this world is the real battle. 4000 LP means points of real life. It it become 0, a person will die truely. Judai is pretty shocked when he knows this truth. Birdman assumes that Judai hasn't heard of this Life-or-Death before. As far as he knows, there is another world different from his world (He is talking about the original world of Judai) where people can duel without attaching their lives. Misawa tells Judai to pack up his duel disk since he shouldn't risk his life here.

Birdman claims that it's too late to retreat now. Duel that has already been declared can't be stopped. It's the holy fight of warriors. Only people risking their lives in can have duel disks. Judai is now tested whether he is qualified to be a warrior. Judai doesn't think of retreating. Johan fought by attaching his life to save everyone, so Judai will do so. Judai plans to teach Birdman that a real warrior can't be judged by only a number of stars on a card. Birdman feels that this should be a fun game. Misawa and Taniya realize that Judai has no other choice but to win this game, hoping he not die quickly.

Taniya This is the center of power system.
O'Brien It we destroy it, the town will turn dark.
Taniya Really. Winged beasts are weak in darkness.
O'Brien While I'm distracting him, you destroy it.
Judai I'll go!
O'Brien Judai!
Judai You're better at destroying, so I'll lure him by duel.
O'Brien Judai!
Taniya No. He must not duel.
Birdman What are you?! This is not a place for low-level inhabitants to come.
Judai I'm not an inhabitant of this area!
Birdman Are you a warrior too?
Judai Hey you! Is it good if you take control of weaker ones than you?
Birdman Hm. You're one stubborn kid. Then do you have courage to persuade me by duel, kid?
Judai Yes, of course.
Taniya Stop it! Do you know what you are about to do?
Birdman That duel disk. Are you ready?
Judai Of course!
Birdman Good. The duel of warrior with pride. Show it.
Judai, Birdman Duel!
Taniya Judai! Duel in this world is what we call BATTLE. 4000 life points mean the points of their life and when it becomes 0, that person actually dies!
Judai What?
Birdman You don't know that. To say, I have heard of it before. In the dimension different from my world, there is a place where you can duel without your life being threatened.
Misawa Repack your disk Judai! You don't need to risk your life!
Birdman It's too late! The duel that has been declared can not be stopped. Duel is holy fight of a warrior. The ones who can risk their life can have duel disk. I'm testing you now to see if you're a human with suitable level for a warrior!
Judai Good enough! Johan fought by attaching his life in order to save friends. I will show you that the true warrior can't be displayed only by the number of stars.
Birdman Hi hi hi! This is fun~
Misawa That's...don't die quickly, Judai!
Taniya If it turns out like this, there is no other way but to win.

The first turn is with Birdman. He draws a card and gets Simorgh, Bird of Divinity. He then plays spell card [Summon Storm - Spell: Pay 800 Life Points. Special Summon 1 Wind Attribute Level 4 or lower monster from your hand]. Taniya explains that it's the card that allows Birdman to pay his 800 LP in order to special summon a level 4 or lower monster from his hand. At this moment, O'Brien is leaving the group secretly to finish his mission on the top of the tower.

As Taniya said, Birdman's LP decreases to 3200 (4000-800), and he decides to special summon [Whirlwind Prodigy ~ Boufuu Kosou - 4/1500/1600: When Tribute Summoning a WIND monster, you can treat this 1 monster as 2 Tributes] from his hand onto the field in attack position. Birdman explains the special effect of Whirlwind Prodigy that when it's used as a tribute to summon a wind monster, it can be treated as two tributes.

As a result, he uses Whirlwind Prodigy as two tributes to normal summon [Simorgh, Bird of Divinity ~ Shinchou Simorgh - 7/2700/1000: This card cannot be Special Summoned. If you Tribute Summon this card, the Tributes must be WIND. While this card is face up on the fireld, both players take 1000 points of direct damage during each player's End Phase. Decrease the damage each player takes when this happens by 500 for each Spell and Trap Card that player controls] onto the field in attack position.

Misawa feels relieved that no monster can attack in the first turn, so Judai should be now safe. Birdman sets up a face-down card, plays permenent spell [Level Tax - Permanent Spell: When a Level 5 or higher monster is Summoned, Reverse Summoned, or Special Summoned, pay Life Points equal to its attack power], and ends his turn.

Birdman says that it's too fast to feel relieved. According to the effect of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity, at each end phase of both sides, 1000 direct damages are inflicted to both players. Simorgh, Bird of Divinity then creates such a strong tornado around the place as Birdman is laughing out loud. Misawa is worried about Judai while Judai is holding his face down to avoid the storm.

episode 132 summarized by Janime

The special of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity causes Judai's LP to decrease to 3000 (4000-1000) at Birdman's end phase. Anyway, Judai is very surprised by seeing no damage inflicted to Birdman's LP. Birdman explains that, due to another special effect of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity, he can decrease damage by 500 points for each spell/trap card on his field. There were Level Tax and a face-down cards on his field, so Birdman could reduce his damages to 1000 (500*2). In total, they could offset the damages exactly. Judai feels uneasy and obviously looks worried. Meanwhile, O'Brien is climbing to the top of the tower as looking down to Judai and getting concerned about him.

The turn comes to Judai. He draws a card and gets E-Hero Bubbleman. The cards on the other hand are Polymerization, E-Hero Clayman, E-Hero Necro Darkman, E-Hero Neos, and E-Hero Burst Lady. Judai plans to use Polymerization to fuse E-Hero Bubbleman and E-Hero Clayman into E-Hero Mudballman. By 3000 defense points of E-Hero Mudballman, they should be able to bear 2700 attack points of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity.

However, Judai is concerned by permanent spell, Level Tax, on Birdman's field. By its effect, if level 5 or higher monster is summoned, the player has to receive damage equal to the attack points of the summoned monster. E-Hero Mudballman has 1900 attack points. If Judai summons it, he has to receive 1900 damage points. They will reduce his LP to 1100 (3000-1900). Then, at his end phase, he has to receive additional direct damages from the special effect of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity. This will further reduce his LP to 100 (1100-1000).

Misawa wonders what Judai will do. Taniya says that as long as Level Tax is on the field, Judai is unable to summon any high-class monster. Misawa understands that a monster summoned by fusion summon is mostly a high-class monster. Thus, Level Tax is supposed to seal Judai's fusion play. At this moment, Judai is getting scared of death. He doubts whether he is really going to die. It's going to get worse if he receives the special attack of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity, wind of death, again. Judai looks at his cards while analyzing the game carefully. Birdman realizes that it should be so tough for Judai that he is unable to summon high-class monsters. He chuckles and enjoys seeing Judai get help from his low-level monsters.

Judai decides to summon [E-Hero Bubbleman - 4/800/1200: If this is the only card in your hand, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned successfully, if there are no other cards on your side of the field and in your hand, you can draw 2 cards from your Deck] onto the field in defense position. According to the special effect of E-Hero Bubbleman, when it's summoned and there is no other card on the field, Judai can draw two new cards.

The cards Judai can get are Winged Kuriboh and Fake Hero. Judai looks very happy to see his partner. Setting up two face-down cards, Polymerization and Fake Hero, he ends his turn. At his end phase, the special effect of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity is working. Strong wind is blowing Judai's field; however, Judai now has two face-down cards to block it. Therefore, his damage is reduced to 0 (500*2). Misawa and Taniya are glad to see that Judai could bear it but he is still in defense mode after all. Misawa notes that whoever even Judai must be afraid of death.

Tornado Bird
Monster Card

The turn comes back to Birdman. Drawing a card, he summons [Tornado Bird - 4/1100/1000: FLIP, Return 2 Spell or Trap Cards on the field to their owners hands] onto the field in attack position. Then, he plays spell cards [Winged Repayment ~ Tsubasa No Ongaeshi - Spell: Pay 600 Life Points. Draw cards from your deck equal to the number of Winged Beast-type monsters on your side of the field. The card(s) drawn by this effect cannot be used during this turn]. By its effect, he pays 600 LP in order to draw cards equal to the number of Winged Beast monsters on the field. His LP decreases to 2600 (3200-600). There are Tornado Bird and Simorgh, Bird of Divinity on the field, so Birdman can draw 2 cards. Anyway, these 2 cards can't be played in this turn.

Birdman then declares the attack of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity to destroy E-Hero Bubbleman. Next, he lets Tornado Bird attack Judai directly. Judai's LP goes down to 1900 (3000-1100). Setting up two face-down cards, Birdman ends his turn. In his end phase, the special effect of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity is activated to inflict 1000 damage points to both sides. Judai has two face-down cards to reduce the damages to 0 (500*2). On the other side, Birdman has Level Tax and 3 face-down cards, so he has excessive cards to reduce damages to 0.

Judai takes a breath as feeling relieved that he could bear this turn safely. Birdman asks whether Judai is suffering now. He thinks that Judai who is unable to summon high-class monsters because of Level Tax has had no chance to win since the beginning. In this world, high-class people can determine to manipulate and control people born with low class. Meanwhile, O'Brien is climbing almost to the top. He again looks down to see the duel and gets worried about Judai.

Turn comes to Judai. Drawing a card, he plays spell card [Graceful Charity ~ Tenshi No Hodokoshi - Spell: Draw 3 cards from your deck, then discard any 2 cards from your hand]. This card allows him to draw three new cards and discard two into cemetery. He draws and discards E-Hero Burst Lady and E-Hero Necro Darkman into graveyard. Next, Judai summons [N-Groun Mole - 3/900/300: Return this card and your opponent's monster to their respective owner's hands after this card has conducted battle] onto the field in attack position.

Birdman insults N-Groun Mole that has only leve 3. Judai gets mad and says that N-Groun Mole is his friend binding him by strong bond of friendship although it has low level. Birdman certainly doesn't believe in such a thing like bond or friendship. Thus, Judai is going to let him taste the monster effect of N-Groun Mole. According to its effect, it can return a monster on Birdmand's field onto his hand. N-Groun Mole digs into the ground and moves forward Simorgh, Bird of Divinity.

Birdman says that it's useless, activating his face-down trap card [Glory Level Talisman ~ Permanent Trap: After activation, this card becomes an Equip Card on 1 Level 5 or higher monster. When there is not a monster on your opponent's side of the field with a level higher than that of the equipped monster's, the equipped monster cannot be the target of Magic, Trap, or Monster effects. When it is attacked by a monster with a level lower than the equipped monster's level, negate that monster's effect and destroy it]. Taniya realizes that it's a trap card that can be equipped to a monster with level 5 or higher monster. The effect of any lower monster that attacks it will be negated and the attacking monster will be destroyed.

As a result, Glory Level Talisman is equipped to Simorgh, Bird of Divinity in order to negate the effect of N-Groun Mole and destroy it. Birdman claims that here is as far as low-level monsters can come. He will end the game soon. At this moment, Birdman opens another face-down trap card [Icarus Attack ~ God Burst Attack - Trap: By Tributing 1 Winged Beast-Type monster on your side of the field, destroy 2 cards on the field]. According to its effect, he can give Tornado Bird as a tribute to destroy 2 face-down cards, Polymerization and Fake Hero, on Judai's field.

Continuously, Birdman activates the last face-down card [Explosion Wing - Trap: Inflict 500 points of damage to the opponent's Life Points for each card destroyed by a card's effect during this turn]. This card can inflict damages by 500 for each card destroyed by a card's effect in this turn. Taniya and Misawa are aware of three cards of Judai's destroyed in this turn: N-Groun Mole was destroyed by Glory Level Talisman, and Polymerization/Fake Hero were destroyed by God Burst Attack. Thus, Judai has to receive 1500 damage points (500*3).

Three winged bombs appear above Judai, and there occur triple times of explosion. Judai screams with pain as his LP decreases to 400 (1900-1500). Judai looks very worried and begins to get scared of whether he will die by duel. O'Brien is very close to the top of the power station. Anyway, he stops and looks at Judai down there. By the current LP, O'Brien is worried by that Judai will be defeated in the next strike or by the special effect of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity at the end of his own turn. That means his life will be gone as well. Birdman claims that Judai's wall to protect wind of death from his Simorgh, Bird of Divinity has gone already. Thus, he is certain that Judai will be ended by the effect of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity.

Judai sets up two face-down cards and ends his turn. Birdman is surprised by that Judai still has some cards left to set up. Judai seems to have such a luck. At Judai's end phase, the special effect of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity is activated. Luckily, Judai still has 2 cards to hold in this turn. O'Brien is more concerned by that if Judai is attacked by a single strike, he will be ended. He doubts whether Judai still has some plan left. Birdman is now sick of Judai who keeps summoning low-level monsters. In his view, people (Monsters) have been determined by their stars since they were born, so they should pray or be lucky to be born with high level.

Judai is trying to get up while holding his chest. He is annoyed by that Birdman keeps talking about level. He personally doesn't believe in destiny and level determined for people, so he refuses firmly to accept Birdman's thought. Birdman doesn't care and tells Judai to shut up. Now is time for Judai to be ended.

The turn seems to be with Birdman already. He declares the direct attack of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity towards Judai. At this moment, Judai opens his face-down trap card [A Hero Emerges ~ Hero Kensan - Trap: When your opponent declares an attack, he/she randomly selects 1 card from your hand. If it is a Monster Card, Special Summon it on your side of the field. If not, send it to the Graveyard].

Birdman doubts whether Judai intends summon a high-class monster despite the fact that he still has Level Tax on the field. Considering Judai having only 400 LP left, he believes that Judai will be killed at the spot no matter what kind of a high or low monster will be summoned. Judai tells him to shut up and holds his cards up to let Birdman pick one of them. There are E-Hero Neos, Winged Kuriboh, and E-Hero Clayman. Certainly, if E-Hero Heos with level 5 is called, Judai will be fnished immediately.

Luckily, Birdman picks the middle one and that is Winged Kurigoh. Thus, Judai specially summons [Winged Kuriboh ~ Hane Kuriboh - 1/300/200: When this card on the field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, its effect is activated. After activiation, during this turn, any Battle Damage that the controller of this card takes becomes 0] onto the field in attack position.

Birdman looks down Winged Kuriboh as a low-level-1 monster. Judai can no longer stand and argues, "You don't understand anything. Level of people isn't the number of stars attached with them since they were born. It's about how they hold the stars of splendid friends and how strong their hearts with bond of frienship is.....like Johan and Winged Kuriboh!".

At this moment, Judai opens the last face-down spell card [Transcendent Wings ~ Shinkasuru Tsubasa - Quick Play Spell: Send 1 Winged Kuriboh you control from the field to the Graveyard and discard 2 cards from your hand. Special Summon 1 Winged Kuriboh LV10 from your hand or Deck]. By its effect, Judai can discard two cards on his hand for Winged Kuriboh to evolve. Birdman becomes very surprised by that a level 1 monster can evolve into a stronger monster.

Thus, Judai discards E-Hero Neos and E-Hero Clayman on his hand for Winged Kuriboh to evolve into [Winged Kuriboh LV 10 ~ Hane Kuriboh LV10 - 10/300/200: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of Wings of Evolution. You may sacrifice this monster to destroy all face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field and inflict Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the total ATK of the destroyed monsters. You can only activate this effect during your opponent's Battle Phase].

Misawa is very impressed by the appearance of Winged Kuriboh LV10. Anyway, Taniya realizes that Judai still has to receive damages due to the effect of Level Tax. The summon of Winged Kuriboh LV10 is considered a special summon, so Judai has to receive damages equal to its attack points. His LP decreases to 100 (400-300). Judai claims that next will be Birdman's turn. According to the special effect of Winged Kuriboh LV10, all monsters on Birdman will be destroyed and Birdman has to receive damages equal to the attack points of all destroyed monsters.

Therefore, Simorgh, Bird of Divinity on Birdman's field is destroyed. This reduces Birdman's LP to 0 (2600-2700) immediately. Birdman collapses as Judai falls onto his knees. Misawa and Taniya hurry to come out and see how Judai is. Judai gets up to respond to his friends that he is fine. On the other side, O'Brien successfully releases a cable, causing the whole underground to be in darkness. Many small monsters in the city are running away, beginning to strike the winged beasts together. Misawa realizes that the counterattack has already started. Those winged beasts are weak in darkness as planned.

Birdman is collapsing, trying to call Judai as young warrior by his weak voice. Judai realizes that he won the game, so Birdman is about to be gone, walking closer to him. Birdman tells him not to be worried. It's the duel with his pride. After all, he is a monster with low level of 4 stars. Without courage, he controls monsters with lower level. Birdman catches Judai's hand and asks him eliminate level system from this world. He asks Judai be [Supreme King ~ Haou] in place of the current one. Judai becomes surprised by the word, Supreme King. Then, Birdman's body becomes particles of light and disappears. Judai looks up, seeing the particles of light spreading into the sky with sad face.

A big door is open. People have been togehter. Taniya tells Judai and his friends that after this door is the way to the next level. She also thanks him for everything and she will next try to do something in this world. Judai and people should move on following their goal. O'Brien thanks her and hopes that she will try her best. Kenzan then yells activate to lead the group to move on. Sho responds to him excitedly as well.

Anyway, Misawa says that he will stay here with Taniya. Kenzan doubts what Misawa is planning to do. Sho whispers Misawa and asks him whether he would like to be with Taniya here. Misawa's face becomes red suddenly. He explains that he just wants to ask her the story about flying from different world in order to solve the mystery of this world. Taniya just looks at Misawa's face and smiles. Misawa says that once he can solve the mystery, he will follow everyone. People hope Misawa will try his best and will be waiting for him. Judai looks at the door after the stairs at the upper level with serious face. He keeps thinking about Johan who must be alive behind that door.

Birdman ...Young warrior...
Judai Birdman...I see...Since I won, you're...
Birdman Don't worry about it...It was a duel that showed my pride as a warrior...I'm merely a level 4 myself, so I only have low level stars...Going against myself and without any courage, I controlled those with levels even lower...Please...Get rid of the rule of levels from this world...You...You must be able to replace that guy...to be Supreme King...
Judai Supreme King...?

to be continued...

Sho Get out off the door, and there is...
Judai Ruins? Perhaps, whoever attacked here may...Johan...
Sho How can that be? To say, there is nobody, Big Brother~
Judai Ah! Now, there is a person there! That boy, he must know something about Johan.
Sho Next time, [Judai VS Scarr, Scout of Dark World]!
Judai I don't know whether it is a dark world or whatever, but I will become an opponent. Everybody, don't get in my way!

card information

[Supreme King ~ Haou]

"Haou" is commonly used in many manga/anime. Many sources translate them as "Heavenly King" or "Heavenly Ruler". Actually, "Ha" means "Supremacy, Leadership", which refers to a person who is superior to the others and can rule the others. Thus, "Haou" can be literally translated "Supreme King". You can see an example in a famous anime/manga [Shaman King]. Asakura You's twin is called [Haou] or Supreme King of any spirit. In GX anime, Judai is going to be [Haou] of duel monsters in this different world. He can be called "Haou Judai" or "Supreme King Judai".
