episode 121 summarized by Janime

During the night at the library, surrounding area is lit by candelight while Martin, who has already taken control by the devil arm, is sitting on a throne. Amon walks in to meet with him. Martin greets Amon to confirm that it's actually the devil arm or The Eye monster that used to talk to Amon. Amon goes straight to the question why the devil arm chooses Martin over him and what exactly he wants. He can guess that people have come to this different world because of the devil arm. Martin doesn't answer all questions, but he can realize that Amon is as smart as he has expected. He shows his devil arm and asks whether Amon doesn't want to work for him because he needs Amon's human intelligence. His voice changes from Martin's voice to another adult voice. Amon seems uncertain whether to accept offer.

Amon You?
Martin It's me Amon.
Amon Why did you choose that boy. What is it you want! The reason why we came to this world is because of you right?
Martin Yes. You're smart as I expected. Work under me. I need your intelligence as a human.

In the different world, three suns are shing over Pharaoh sleeping on the roof of Duel Academia. It finally wakes up, stretches, and trots into the building. Pharaoh stops in front of a room. When the door is automatically open, it quirks its head as seeing students gathering up in the room. Tome-San, Asuka, Kenzan, and Sho are standing in front of a table, serving the students water and food. Kenzan tells everybody to queue up as Sho is helping to distribute food. Sho places a bottle of water on Manjyome's tray, which has only a piece of bread.

Manjyome begins to complain that this food isn't enough for him. Sho explains that everything is on the same boat. Ojama Trio move to the front of Manjyome. Ojama Yellow holds its stomach and says that it's hungry. Manjyome has no choice, so he uses Ojama Trio as an excuse to get more food that he has three more to feed. Asuka steps to the front to refuse Manjyome's request and explains that they have to save food as much as they can.

At the same time, the students in the line begin to complain. Everybody is also hungry, so he tells Manjyome who has already got food to move away. Seeing people beging to have a quarral, Tome-San is enough. She yells at the students to let them shut up. If they are not quiet, she will stop distributing food now. Then, she turns to apologize Ojama Trio that she doesn't have any share left for spirits. Ojama Yellow feels upset before following Manjyome walking away from the line. Tome-San feels sorry to him. She understands that this quantity of food shouldn't be enough for young students. Pharaoh is now moving along Tome's leg, asking for food hungrily as well.

Kenzan Now~ Queue up~
Sho We're giving food out~ Here you go.
Manjyome What? Only this?
Sho It's same for everyone.
Ojama Yellow Big Brother, I'm hungry~
Manjyome I still have three to feed. Why don't you consider that?
Asuka We can't do that. We have to save food as much as possible.
Yellow Student 1 Get away quickly! Everyone is starving!
Yellow Student 2 What's that tone?
Yellow Student 1 Get away quickly!
Tome-San Be quiet! If you don't be quiet, I won't give any food out! Sorry. I don't have any for spirits.
Ojama Yellow But...
Manjyome Hm!
Tome-San Certainly, this isn't enough for young people.

In the infirmary, Rei with a towel on her head is having high fever and blushing weakly. Teacher Ayukawa tucks in a sheet and takes a breath. Misawa looks at her while explaining to Judai about the theory that there are other worlds along with the original world. People seem to be flown away to another world. As Judai has thought, somebody controlled Professor Cobra and brought Duel Academia to this world. Misawa tells him that not only Duel Academia was brought there. When he came to this world, he saw a submarine on his way. Once hearing the word, submarine, Amon sleeping on the other side opens his eyes and listens to the conversation.

Judai turns to ask Teacher Ayukawa about Rei's condition. Teacher Ayukawa tells him that only medicine in the infirmary isn't enough. There is some medicine that she really needs to treat Rei. She says before sending Judai the list of the medicine. By looking at the list, Judai doesn't understand at all what it is. Misawa believes that there must be medicine in the submarine. Thus, everybody turns to see and tell Professor Chronos about this plan.

Professor Chronos hits the desk strongly before refusing to allow them to go outside to search for the submarine. Judai explaints that they need more professional medicine following Teacher Ayukawa's advice. O'Brien adds that if the submarine is used for army, there should be professional medicine. Professor Chronos insists not to allow them to go because going out to desert in this different world is too dangerous. Thus, he suggests everybody wait for rescue team here. He says without confident voice while falling onto his seat.

Sho thinks that Professor Chronos just doesn't have fighting spirit. Asuka agrees. As she has said, adults hardly deal with change condition. Kenzan thinks that they can't rely on the teacher like this. Judai is enough, turns to hit the desk strongly, and says that nobody knows when the rescue will come. In the worst case, nobody will come at all. O'Brien adds that he has survival knowledge while Jim also says that he has geographic knowledge (Jim is an archaeologist). Currently, any kind of knowledge is useful.

O'Brien places many PDAs on the desk and explains that the power supply seems to return. Therefore, if they use satilite tracker as transmitter, it is possible to come back to the school. Johan further suggests Professor Chronos search for the first-grade missing student, Kanou Martin. Suddenly, Vice Principal Napoleon runs in the room while crying heavily. He says that he doesn't see Martin else where. His act really surprises Professor Chronos until he has to ask whether Vice Principal Napoleon has some special relationship with Martin.

Vice Principal Napoleon hurries to refuse that he has no private issue with Martin. It's just normal for an educator to be worried about his student. Anyway, Judai moves closer to Professor Chronos, influencing him to give permission for them to take off now. Professor Chronos is afraid to make a decision. Then, he has just realized that during this situation when Principal Samejima is away, the person who has the highest authority should be the vice principal, Napoleon. Vice Principal Napoleon doesn't care and allows them to go quickly. He is still crying heavily for Martin, hoping somebody to do something.

Misawa According to quantum theory, there are other worlds aside from ours. It seems that we were flown off to another world.
Judai Just as I thought. Something that used to control Professor Cobra did this to Duel Academia.
Misawa Not only Academia. When I came here, I saw a submarine on the way here.
Judai A submarine? Ayukawa-sensei. How is Rei?
Ayukawa The medicines in our hospital wing is not enough. I really need this medicine.
Judai I can't even figure out what it is by looking.
Misawa Judai! Submarine! There must be the medicine we are looking for over there.
Chronos What are you saying ne! Going away to find a submarine!? I cannot allow it ne!
Judai According to Ayukawa sensei, we need more professional medicine.
O'Brien O'brien: If the submarine was an army's, it must have professional medicine.
Chronos However~ going out to the desert of the other world is dangerous ne. So it is better to wait until rescue team comes.
Sho Not even a spirit is in you.(he doesn't mean by 'serei' which is spirit(ghost, phanthom) but means by that he doesn't have spirit to do such things)
Asuka I told you that adults can't deal with change of environment.
Kenzan Really, we can't rely on him.
Judai Like when will rescue come! No, it is possible that no rescue will come!
O'Brien I have a lot of knowledge on survival.
Jim For geographic knowledge, yes. Of course, in this world, all kinds of knowledge is useful. It's possible to communicate, right?
O'Brien A part of power supply seems to return. If we use satilite tracker as transmitter, it is possible to come back to Academia.
Johan For you professor, please find the first-grade student who is missing.
Napoleon Not there de-aru! Not there de-aru! Martin is missing de aru!
Chronos What happend Vice Principal Napoleon? Do you have some kind of special relationship between the student Kanou Martin?
Napoleon No~ No~ No~ It's nothing in private with him. It is obvious to care for students as educator de aru.
Judai Chronos sensei! You should give us permission right now!
Chronos Principal Samejima is not always here in times like this ne. Oh right! The person who's in the highest position currently is Vice Principal Napoleon.
Napoleon I'll let you~ I'll give you permission~ Do anything de-aru~

Judai, Johan, Jim, and O'Brien are ready at the courtyard of Duel Academia. Judai tells Sho, Kenzan, Asuka, and Manjyome to take care of Duel Academia when they is away. Manjyome tells him to leave this job to himself and his Ojama Trio. He looks at his monsters to get some support, but his Ojama Trio becomes weak quickly as if they don't have confidence to do so. Then, Amon appears behind Manjyome, saying that the would like to go as well. Judai is concerned by whether Amon has recovered from his injury already. Amon replies that his injury isn't serious, and he also wants to help Duel Academia in return.

If that's the case, Judai has no objection. He turns to ask Johan's view, and Johan doesn't disagree at all. Johan just tells Amon not to push himself too hard. Amon thanks Johan for his concern. Then, Judai tells the group to take off as his friends are seeing him leaving with concern. While walking along with his friends, Amon thinks of the submarine which apparently belongs to Garam Finance group. He is afraid that there may be something there that can reveal his identity, so he should keep his eyes close to Judai and the others. Amon turns back to look at Duel Academia, getting concerned about the devil hand that has chosen Martin over him already.

Martin is now on the deck of Duel Academia, looking everybody leaving for the submarine. He plans to build his empire at Duel Academia, so Judai and his friends are just his obstruction. This is such a good chance for him while they are leaving. With a grunt of pain, his demon arm morphs into a duel disk with monster shape. He says that he is going to send a desert servant to face Judai while placing The Rock Spirit card into the duel disk.

Judai I ask you. Protect academia well while we're away.
Manjyome Yes. Leave it to me Manjyome Thunder and Ojama Trio.
Amon I'm going as well.
Judai But, you got hurt yesterday...
Amon It's not a big wound either. I have to repay duel academia as I owe something.
Judai Is it? If it's so then. Right Johan?
Johan Yeah. But don't push yourself too hard.
Amon Thanks.
Judai Okay~ Let's go!!
Manjyome You do well!
Sho Big Brother~
Kenzan Big Brother~ Don't push yourself too hard~
Sho Be careful~
Amon ( If there is something that reveals my identity in Garam Finance submarine, it'll be troublesome. Besides, I have to keep my eyes on these people all the time...)
Martin You people stand in the way to build my empire. I'll send you to my servant of desert.

During the way to the submarine, Judai stops walkinga and turns to his friends. Johan asks whether there is somehting wrong. Judai thinks that everybody is now in the world where spirits become real, so he suggests people try riding on his Neos. At the same time, Winged Kuriboh appears next to him. Johan shows his Dis-Belt and explains that when he summoned Gem Beast Sapphire Pegasus, his Dis-Belt was still active. Thus, using duel disk may be dangerous. Amon concludes to follow Johan's advice that if they aren't attacked by monsters, they are prohibited to use cards.

In front of Duel Acadmia, Harpie Ladies are flying in circle menacingly. Judai feels disappointed a bit as Wing Kuriboh is calling him. He looks happy when he sees that it's good enough to have Wing Kuriboh. Johan doesn't look pleased and asks whether Judai thinks that this is funny. O'Brien explains that this isn't a duel created by Solid Vision system. He reminds Judai that it's attached to everybody's life. Judai knows that they are getting mad, and replies that he has got it well.

Suddenly, Karen groans. Jim knows that she is telling him about something, so he tells everybody to move to a giant rock in front of them quickly. Everybody runs to hide behind the rock. A moment later, [Sand Stone - 5/1300/1600] in the shape of a two-headed rock snake with tentacle limbs erupts from the sand. It looks around and moves closer to the rock where people are hiding at. Everybody is all sweating. Seeing nobody, it dives back down into sand. Judai wipes his forehead with relief while they come out from the rock.

People keep on walking under the three suns. Meanwhile, O'Brien is dropping PDA one by one along the way as a trail so that they can return to Duel Academia in the correct direction. Everybody has finally reached the submarine spot. Judai runs ahead actively as Jim tells him to watch out. Without knowledge, Judai is sliding down into a large sand pit and can't stop himself. O'Brien quickly rigs a rope around his waist and counts on Amon to hold the rope. He then slides down along the sand pit to grab Judai's hand in time. Amon is now thinking about to leave the rope, but Jim comes in to help him hold the rope.

Johan What?
Judai Everyone. We came to the world where spirits are materialized, why don't we ride Neos(!) to there?
Johan When I summoned Sapphire Pegasus yesterday, Dis-belt worked. If we use it without putting it into disk, it might be dangerous.
O'Brien I see~
Amon Then, following Johan's advice, we'll prohibit using cards exception for being attacked by monsters.
Judai Chet, it's been a while... Winged Kuriboh is okay.
Johan Do you think all this is funny?
Judai Eh?
O'Brien This is not a duel with Solid Vision. Don't forget that this depends on our lives.
Judai I know it..
Jim Everyone, to behind the rock!
Judai Look at that!
Johan It's submarine! It's what Misawa saw.
Judai Let's go!
Jim Wait! Watch out!
Judai Haaa? Waaa!?
Johan Judai!
Judai Waaa!? I can't stop!
O'Brien Please take care of this.....
Amon Ah~
O'Brien Take care of this! Judai!
Amon (Now, if I leave this rope...)
Jim Let's hold the rope by two persons
Amon A...Ah~

With a rumble, a large rock platform erupts in the center of the sand pit. It moves up while [The Rock Spirit ~ Iwa No Seirei Titan - 4/1700/1000: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 EARTH monster in your Graveyard. Increase the ATK of this monster by 300 points during your opponent's Battle Phase] is standing on the top of the platform with a duel disk in his hand. He introduces himself [The Rock Spirit, Titan] (Its actual Japanese name in the card) who will make judgement over people intruding into the holy desert land.

Johan tells Jim and Amon to take care of Judai and O'Brien before running to the other side, standing by his duel disk and facing Titan. Titan asks whether Johan, the life from the other world, will become his opponent. Johan convinces him before both of them set up their decks into the duel disks and begin the duel.

First turn comes to Titan. He draws a card and summons [Sand Doodlebug - 4/1200/800: During the End Phase of each turn, destroy a Level 3 or lower monster. This monster can attack the opponent directly. When Desert is on the field, you can negate 1 attack of an opponent's monster] in attack position. Jim describes that it's the sand ant lion with 1200 attack points. Here is supposed to be the end of Titan's turn.

The Rock Spirit

Sand Doodlebug
Monster Card

Turn comes to Johan. He draws a card and summons [Gem Beast Amethyst Cat ~ Hougyokujyuu Amethyst Cat - 3/1200: When this card is destroyed, instead of sending it to the Graveyard, you can place it face-up in your Spell/Trap Card Zones. When this card is in your Spell/Trap Card Zone it is treated as a Continuous Spell Card. In addition, by decreasing this card's ATK by half, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly] onto the field in attack position. Johan counts on her, and Gem Beast Amethyst Cat convinces him to leave this job on her.

Johan declares the attack of Gem Beast Amethyst Cat against Sand Doodlebug. When the attack points are halved, Gem Beast Amethyst Cat can do direct attack. Anyway, Sand Doodlebug suddenly dives into sand. Johan is very surprised by seeing Sand Doodlebug dodging the direct strike of his monster. As Amon thinks, the fundamental rule of duel monster is still applied to this world. In desert, Sand Doodlebug can negate the attack of Johan by once per turn.

Note: We don't know exactly whether what Amon's said is the effect of a field spell, [Desert], or the special effect of Sand Doodlebug itself. Nothing is mentioned in anime about this field spell. Amon just said that if [Desert] existed, Sand Doodlebug could negate an attack once per turn. Thus, we assume that this type of negate effect belongs to Sand Doodlebug.

In addition, at the end phase, Sand Doodlebug can destroy a level 3 or lower monster. Thus, in Johan's end phase, Gem Beast Amethyst Cat sinks into sand. She's finally destroyed and becomes an Amethyst gem in Johan's spell/trap slot. This is the end of Johan's turn.

When turn moves to Titan, he declares the attack of Sand Doodlebug againsts Johan directly. Sand Doodlebug throws a pile of sand towards Johan, reducing his LP to 2800 (4000-1200). Jim becomes more concerned about the application of duel monster rule to this world. Amon notes that now Johan's real life is also attached to the game and it remains only 1200 points. Johan is panting with exertion from the drain as trying to get up and continue the game.

summary - second period
episode 121 summarized by Janime

Johan realizes that, in desert field, his Gem Beast monsters completely have disadvantage. Titan explains that here is the world with infinite sand. There is no place for him to escape. If the attack from the ground is sealed, Johan thinks of attacking from the air.

He summons [Gem Beast Cobalt Eagle ~ Hougyokujyuu Cobalt Eagle - 4/1400/800: Once per turn, you can return a card with Gem Beast in its name on your side of the field to the top of your deck. When this card is destroyed, instead of sending it to the Graveyard, place it face-up in your Spell/Trap Card Zone. When in your Spell/Trap Card Zone, treat it as a Continuous Spell Card] onto the field in attack position.

Johan declares the airborne attack of Gem Beast Cobalt Eagle towards Sand Doodlebug. The wall of sand then appears to block the strike. Gem Beast Cobalt Eagle is pulled up into the sky and is gone. Titan sees this chance that if Gem Beast Cobalt Eagle flies away into the sky, Johan's field is totally empty. Time seems to be at the end phase of Johan. Because Gem Beast Cobalt Eagle has level 4, it isn't destroyed by the special effect of Sand Doodlebug and doesn't become a Gem stone in Johan's spell/trap card zone. In Titan's turn, Sand Doodlebug counters by a pile of sand straight to Johan by the direct attack. Receiving the direct attack, Johan's LP decreases to 1600 (2800-1200).

Note: There is neither declaration of any turn nor order of phases. The game runs quickly, but only logic of card effects and damage count are applied.

Amon is worried by that Johan's LP keeps on decreasing. The turn is now with Johan. He gets up and then summons [Gem Beast Sapphire Pegasus ~ Hougyokujyuu Sapphire Pegasus - 4/1800/1200: When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned successfully, you can place 1 monster that includes Gem Beast in its card name from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard face-up in an open Spell/Trap Card Zone. When this card is destroyed, instead of sending it to the Graveyard, you can place it face-up in your Spell/Trap Card Zones. When this card is in your Spell/Trap Card Zone it is treated as a Continuous Spell Card] onto the field in attack position.

Johan sets up two face-down cards, and the turn seems to move to Titan quickly. Titan intends to end this game as declaring the direct attack of Sand Doodlebug (We assume that this is the special effect of Sand Doodlebug, but it may be the special effect of [Desert], unknown and unaddressed field spell). This time is when Johan has waited. When Sand Doodlebug is going to attack, the sand wall must be open. (This sand wall is supposed to be the special effect of Sand Doodlebug to negate an attack of the opponent. Anime just presents this timing when the sand wall is open or when Sand Doodlebug is going to attack like a chance for Johan to strike back). There reveals the full shape of Sand Doodlebug, and it's a chance of Johan to break through it.

Johan suddenly opens his face-down trap card [G-Force - Trap: You can activate this card when an opponent's monster attacks. Select 1 monster that includes Gem Beast in its card name in your hand. An opponent's attacking monster and a monster in your hand with Gem Beast in its name will battle. (The monster with Gem Beast in your hand is treated as if it were in attack mode at this time.) The results of the battle and Damage Calculations are treated in the same way as a normal battle].

This trap can force Sand Doodlebug to battle a Gem Beast monster on Johan's hand. Thus, Johan sends out [Gem Beast Topaz Tiger ~ Hougyokujyuu Topaz Tiger - 4/1600/1000: When this card is destroyed, instead of sending it to the Graveyard, you can place it face-up in your Spell/Trap Card Zones. When this card is in your Spell/Trap Card Zone it is treated as a Continuous Spell Card. When this card battles with an opponent's monster, increase this cards ATK by 400 points].

According to the special effect of Gem Beast Topaz Tiger, when it's going to attack, its attack points can increase by 400 points or become 2000 (1600-400). Gem Beast Topaz Tiger jumps over Sand Doodlebug in the sand pit and destroys it. Then, it returns to Johan's hand (It could come out to battle only because of G-Force's effect). This reduces Titan's LP to 3200 (4000+1200-2000). Titan is very surprised by that, even in the empire of sand, his monster is still defeated by people from the another world. Here is supposed to be the end of his turn.

At this moment, Johan declares the double direct attacks of Gem Beast Sapphire Pegasus and Gem Beast Cobalt Eagle flying out from the three suns in the sky. There appears big explosion as the rock platform is collapsing. Titan's LP decreases to 0 exactly (3200-1800-1400), and he is finally defeated and gone. Johan's Dis-Belt glows while his duel energy is taken out. He falls onto his knees with a grunt and feels exhausted. At the library, The Rock Spirit card that Martin set up in his devil duel disk is gone. Martin looks surprised as the duel disk retracts back into original devil arm. He laughs with a bead of sweat.

People have finally reached the submarine. Judai and Johan drop down the ladder to go inside. Judai yells out to ask whether there is somebody. There is no response at all, so Amon concludes that there should be nobody here. O'Brien guesses that before the submarine flew here, the crew members propably had left the ship already. Johan suggests to split out to search. Judai agrees as taking out the note of medicine list from Teacher Ayukawa. He asks Johan what the texts on the list are (Probably, the texts are written in English or languages rather than Japanese that Judai can't read). Johan says it means cold. He takes the note from Judai and volunteers to search for this medicine. Johan also suggests the others collect food and any useful living stuffs. Winged Kuriboh appears near Judai, and Judai understands that it wants to offer some help. Winged Kuriboh smiles in response that Judai gets it right.

Johan is looking for the medicine in a room, taking down bottles of medicine from a cabinet. On the other side, Judai goes to the kitchen, opens up a fridge, but sees no sign of food. Winged Kuriboh calls him to take a look at a bin nearby. When Judai opens it up, he finds some canned rations. He smiles to Winged Kuriboh for its help. On the other side, Jim is taking blankets from the beds because there isn't enough blanket for everybody at Duel Academia. O'Brien is walking around to investigate the submarine and stop at a torpedo room. Amon is now working into the computer system at the controller room. He is loading his and Ekou's profiles on Garam system and deleting them from the database.

At the library, Martin smiles as looking at The Rock Spirit card in his hand. He says that he doesn't have only one Titan card, placing it into his devil duel disk and chuckling. The Rock Spirit, Titan, again appears at entrance of the submarine. It summons some scorpion monsters and send them inside.

People gather up again. Johan joins the group and says that he has already found the whole medicine in the list of Teacher Ayukawa. He comes back with a medicine bag. Judai smiles and feels happy that Rei should be saved now. He tells people that he has got a lot of food in his bag. Winged Kuriboh appears and smiles as if it wants to say that it did help Judai find food. Jim also shows the blankets he could collect. Amon walks in and says sadly that he was trying to track which organization this submarine belonged to. However, computer files were destroyed, so he still didn't know anything. The fact is that he destroys his personal data and conseals people that this is Garam submarine. Judai comforts him not to care about it and leave it as it is.

Suddenly, dozens of [Fiend Scorpions - 2/900/200] drop from the top of submarine and confront people. Judai sets up his duel disk quickly and summons [E-Hero Clayman - 4/800/2000] onto the field in defense position. Because E-Hero Clayman has higher defense points, all Fiend Scorpions have to step back. At this moment, O'Brien tells people to run back into the controller room behind. When everybody gets in, O'Brien locks the door.

Titan then summons another scorpion [8-Claw Scorpion ~ Yatsute Sasori - 2/300/200: You can flip this card into face-down Defense Posistion once per turn during your Main Phase. When this card tagets a face-down Defense Position monster on your opponents side of the field in battle, the ATK of this card becoms 2400 during that damage calculation only] which descends down the tunnel to join other Fiend Scorpions.

8-Claw Scorpion
Monster Card

Titan then activates the spell card [Book of Moon ~ Tsuiki No Sho - Quick Play Spell: Flip 1 face-up monster on the field into face-down Defense Position]. This spell forces E-Hero Clayman to be in face-down defense position. O'Brien looks out from the window of the room and sees 8-Claw Scorpion. He thinks that this is bad because when 8-Claw Scorpion attacks a face-down defense position, its attack points can become 2400. Because E-Hero Clayman is faced down, 8-Claw Scorpion boosts its attack points up to 2400 destroys. It jumps down to destroy E-Hero Clayman with 2000 defense points easily.

There appears big explosion that breaks the door of the controller room. People are blown away while the army of scorpion leading by 8-Claw Scorpion is moving towards them. Judai, Jim, and Amon stand by their duel disks before Judai declares that this is going to be a total war. O'Brien steps in front and stops his friends from dueling recklessly here because it's gonna follow the opponent's thought. Johan says that he offers to go, but Judai is worried since Johan should be tired from the previous duel. Johan can't go on saying that he is saving physical strenght as standing by his duel disk.

Johan again summons Gem Beast Amethyst Cat and Topaz Tiger. He tells them to keep on attacking no matter how much the monsters strike back. Gem Beast Amethyst Cat and Topaz Tiger tell him to leave this job on them before walking in and facing the scorpions. Once Johan declares the attack, Gem Beast Amethyst Cat and Topaz Tiger jump over to destroy the low-attack-point scorpions easily. Titan looks very surprised and realizes that all of his monsters may be totally gone already. He won't allow anybody to escape from this desert, so he decides to summon Sand Doodlebug.

Once Sand Doodlebug is summoned, there appears sand pit and the summarine is sinking into this hole. Titan hopes everybody to die in the coffin of sand. People can feel that the whole submarine is shaking. Judai thinks that it's moving. Then, a lot of sand floods down into the submarine. O'Brien realizes that the submarine is sinking into sand now. Because sand flowing from the exit, people have to run away to the back of the submarine.

People are thinking while running about the way to take the submarine up. O'Brien says that it's useless since there is no way to control the submarine in sand. Jim is afraid that everybody may be confined into sand. Judai asks O'Brien whether there is anywhere else in the submarine that is connected to the surface. Thus, O'Brien thinks that there may be some on the other side they are running from.

It appears that everybody has arrived the torpedo room safely where O'Brien previously came into investigate. Because of sand, the torpedo can't be fired. Judai opens a torpedo tube. He is fine if this tube is just connected to the outside world. His friends look surprised by what Judai is planning to do. O'Brien warns Judai to be careful that sand will flood in through the tube when the door is open. Judai acknowledges while preparing two cards in his hand to activate at any time.

Torpedo tube is open while O'Brien opens the inner door connected to sand outside. Sand floods in quickly. At this moment, Judai summons E-Hero Neos and N-Groun Mole, doing contact fusion between them into [E-Hero Groun Neos - 7/2500/2000: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by returning the above cards on your side of the field to your Deck; then you can Special Summon this card from your Fusion Deck (You do not use Polymerization). Return this card to your Fusion Deck during the End Phase. Once per turn, return 1 of your opponent's monsters its owner's hand].

E-Hero Groun Neos is sent through the torpedo tube that sand is flooding in. Titan is chuckling outside as standing on atop Doodlebug and seeing the submarine sinking into the sand pit. He laughs out loud to enjoy seeing people go to stay in the sand of hell forever. Suddenly, Titan is surprised by seeing E-Hero Groun Neos carrying the submarine up from the sand pit. E-Hero Groun Neos has ability of digging through sand in the torpedo tube. It finally gets out to move the submarine up and throws it over Titan and Doodlebug. They are crushed underneath the submarine.

Judai is glad that E-Hero Groun Neos finally made it. He pumps his fist with a grin without caring that he is falling over his friends in upside down position. At the library, The Rock Spirit card disappears from the devil duel disk again. Martin grunts in pain, falling onto his knees and clutching his devil arm. He seems pleased with it before saying, "Thank you, Judai. This pain is your love".

The group gets out from the submarine while O'Brien is tracking the direction to go back from his PDA. The signal on his PDA is connected to other PDAs he left after leaving Duel Academia. O'Brien notices that the signal response is good enough. If people follow this signal, they should be able to return to Duel Academia. Johan and Jim agree and think that they should deliver this medicine and bring back food quickly. Amon adds that they have no business here, so they can leave now. Judai turns back and tells people actively to go back to Duel Academia and to Rei now suffering. Nobody has realized that something scary is waiting for him at school.
