At Duel Academy, students are playing baseball in a class.
Osiris Red team is competing against Ra Yellow team. At
this moment, Judai is a batter and prepares for the next
hit. He really hopes that his team will get points from
this play. Suddenly, Misawa has just arrived, apologizing
for coming late. Then Ra Yellow team changes a pitcher and
places Misawa into this position. Judai is getting more
excited to duel against Misawa. On the other hand, Misawa
expresses confidently that Judai can't hit his ball anyway
because he has already calculated everything. Thus, the
duel between Judai and Misawa in the baseball game begins.
Misawa
throws three balls and gets all "Strike". Judai
can't hit any ball, so he gets very furious. On the contrary,
when Judai becomes a pitcher, he gets all ''Ball'. Thus,
Sho asks for a short break, asking what is happening to
his Big Brother. Judai explains that he would like to duel
against Misawa in the next round, so he hit all "Ball".
This time, Misawa becomes the 4th batter while Judai becomes
a pitcher. Anyway, Misawa is still certain that Judai must
be defeated. At this point, Misawa is shining an aura of
a tiger while Judai is showing an aura of a dragon. The
duel between the spirits of dragon and tiger begins again.
Judai starts throwing his ball with full spirit of a hero.
Note:
Judai now calls Misawa [Niban
- Number 2] while Misawa calls Judai [Ichiban
- Number 1]. |
Meanwhile, Professor Chronos is walking outside the court
and thinking about someone who can replace Manjyome's position.
Suddenly, a ball flying from the court hits his eye strongly.
Judai and Sho hurry to see the victim and get shocked when
they see Professor Chronos. Certainly, Professor Chronos
is getting very angry although Judai and Sho are sorry to
him. Then, Misawa comes in and also apologizes for the ball
he hit. Seeing Misawa, Professor Chronos looks different
and forgives everything that Misawa did. Considering Misawa's
excellent record, He is glad to place Misawa in Manjyome's
place. While Professor Chronos is going to talk further
detail to Misawa, Judai and Sho are trying to listen to
it. Therefore, Professor Chronos is getting mad, shouting
that this isn't their business and chasing them out. After
that, Professor Chronos talks to Misawa about the condition
of this replacement.
In
a classroom, Manjyome is requiring his friends for some
drink and massage. However, his friends look different,
and no one follows his order. Manjyome sees something wrong,
asking what is going on. Then an Obelisk Blue student comes
in, telling Manjyome to move from the current seat. Manjyome
doesn't understand since it has been his seat for a long
time. Looking the name of the seat, Manjyome is getting
shocked because his name has already gone. His friend tells
Manjyome that his seat was already moved to a lower seat.
When Professor Chronos comes into the class, Manjyome asks
what this whole thing means. Professor Chronos explains
that the Signore (Manjyome) was defeated by Osiris Red student.
As a result, that Signore has to be removed. Furthermore,
Signore has to duel against Misawa from Ra Yellow by betting
their dorm positions. Manjyome is getting shocked by the
situation, asking whether he will be downgraded if he is
defeated. Anyway, Professor Chronos doesn't give him any
answer, telling students to return to their seats quickly.
Manjyome can't stand staying in the class, leaving the room
quickly. He is getting very ashamed when his friends are
laughing at him. Also, he can't imagine when he will be
downgraded.
Manjyome |
Ouu!
drink and massage! |
| Obelisk
Blue Students |
What
is that guy? |
Manjyome |
What's
wrong? |
| Obelisk
Blue Students |
What
is he thinking? What is he going to do? |
Manjyome |
Hey!
Here... |
| Obelisk
Blue Students |
Manjyome,
where are you sitting? |
Manjyome |
Where? |
| Obelisk
Blue Students |
This
seat is no longer yours. Move quickly! |
Manjyome |
What
are you talking about? This seat has my name...No! |
| Obelisk
Blue Students |
You
got it. Your seal has already been changed to there. |
Manjyome |
What?
Seat change? But that is...Professor Chronos! what does
this mean? Why is my seat overthere? |
Professor
Chronos |
That
is because Signore was defeated by Osiris Red student.
Moreover, tomorrow that Signore has to duel against
Misawa Daichi from Ra Yellow by betting the dorm replacement. |
Manjyome |
Do
you meant that I will be downgraded to Ra Yellow if
I am defeated? |
Professor
Chronos |
Well,
let's return to your seats quickly. |
Manjyome |
Downgraded!? |
Outside
the school, Judai and Sho are admiring Misawa's good skill
of baseball. Then, Misawa reveals his secret on his bat.
There is some math formula written on. Misawa already calculated
everything written on his bat and his ball when he played.
Judai is very amazed and hardly believes that Misawa can
do this. Then Misawa takes Judai and Sho to his room. Judai
and Sho are very surprised by a lot of formula written around
the room. This shows that Misawa is such a numerical formula
guy. He calls the formula written around the room and on
the ceiling the stars, and asks Judai and Sho for cleaning.
Later, they enjoy painting the room and eliminating everything
on the floor and ceiling, throwing paint among one another.
Next, Judai and Sho are getting surprised again by such
a great meal that Misawa pays for their help. Then Misawa
shows another bigger meal of robster, so Judai is very impressed
and happy. By the way, Sho asks what Professor Chronos talked
to Misawa previously. Misawa tells them that it is about
dorm change. Judai and Sho have realized that Misawa is
going to be promoted to Obelisk Blue, getting very excited
with him. Although Misawa hasn't admitted it yet, Sho and
Judai have understood well how great Misawa is. Misawa has
done such great performance since the exam entrance. There
is no doubt for them that Misawa will become an Obelisk
Blue student. Congratulating Misawa for his coming success,
Judai and Sho keep on eating happily.
At
night at Obelisk Blue dorm, Manjyome is talking to his two
big brothers, Chosaku and Shoji. The biggest brother, Chosaku,
is the top of the political world while the younger one,
Shoji, is the top of the financial world. In fact, they
are very busy with their work, so they don't have much time
to contact and talk to Jun. They hope his youngest brother
remain the top record at school. Also, They plan to conquer
the world by Manjyome family when Jun has finally become
the top of card-game world. Thus, the future of this family
depends on Jun's shoulder. When two brothers finish talking,
the connection line is cut. At this point, Manjyome starts
getting very worried by the truth; instead of going up,
he is going to be downgraded. Certainly, he can't report
this to his brothers. While looking through the window,
Manjyome accidently sees Misawa probably going to Osiris
Red with Judai and Sho at night. Therefore, he runs to see
at Misawa's Ra Yellow dorm. Actually, Misawa is going sleep
with Judai room at Osiris Red tonight. Sho tells Hayato
that Misawa's room has just been painted, so he has no place
but here to sleep. Hayato considers Misawa such a strange
and rare guy who don't mind sleeping at this dorm. On the
other side, Manjyome has just arrived Misawa's room, seeing
a lot of furniture moved out from the room due to the painting.
| Shoji
Brother |
Hey,
Jun! You understand well, don't you? |
Manjyome |
Hai!
Chosaku Brother, Shoji Brother. |
| Chosaku
Brother |
I
am in an election game, and Shoji is also very busy
with his financial bank. In fact, we have no spare time
to contact you but... |
| Shoji
Brother |
Of
course, we hope your record is still the top, Jun. Our
big brother is the top of the political world, and I
am the top of the financial world. Jun, you will control
the card game world. The plan is that Manjyome family
will conquer this world. You understand it, right Jun.
|
| Chosaku
Brother |
That
means the future of the whole Manjyome group depends
on your shoulders. |
Manjyome |
(What should I do? Instead of getting
the top seat, I am going to be downgraded. I can't say
that. My two brothers may...Ah, that is Misawa Daichi.
That guy is going to Osiris Red, isn't he? Well, his
dorm...) |
Next morning, Tome-San (Card Store Offier) tries to call
Judai in his room, reporting some strange news; there are
many cards thrown away into sea. Thus, Judai, Sho, and Misawa
run quickly to see those cards. Seeing Destructive Ring
and Blood Vorse, Judai has realized that they all belong
to Misawa. Everybody is wondering who did this to Misawa's
cards. Judai feels pity to Misawa who is going to get a
chance to be promoted to Obelisk Blue. The exam time is
also coming closer, so Judai asks what Misawa intends to
do next. |

|
At Duel Academy, Misawa, Judai, and Sho arrive the duel
court late when Professor Chronos and Manjyome have already
been there. Professor Chronos claims that Misawa comes very
late while Manjyome thinks that Misawa was running away
from this duel. Thus, Judai reports that someone went into
Misawa's dorm and threw his cards into the sea. Perhaps,
he is suspecting whether Manjyome did it. Professor Chronos
is wondering what this conversation is about. Certainly,
Manjyome claims that he doesn't know anything about this
situation. However, Kaiser Ryo and Asuka appear, revealing
that they saw Manjyome be at the sea where the cards were
thrown away last night. Of course, Judai excuses Manjyome
for the dirty act. However, Manjyome claims that he threw
his own cards not Misawa's. He also asks whether there is
some name written on those cards. If he had been a thief,
he would have taken responsibility. Then, Manjyome offers
a condition of this game to Professor Chronos; the loser
must leave the school if he is defeated in this game. Judai
feels very unfair since many key cards of Misawa were already
gone. Anyway, Misawa says that he still has a deck and accepts
Manjyome's condition. He tells Sho and Judai not to be worried
because his real deck is always with him. Then Misawa opens
his jacket, showing many decks kept inside. He introduces
his six decks including his soul created by his intelligence;
six decks are wind, water, fire, earth, dark, and light.
Then Manjyome shows his own deck and declares the power
of his fire-type deck full of grudge. After that, Misawa
takes up a deck he believes to beat Manjyome in this game,
setting it into his duel disk. The dorm replacement game
between Manjyome and Misawa finally begins.
First turn comes to Manjyome. Drawing a card,
he summons [Hell Soldier 4/1200/1000]
in an attack mode. Setting a card, he ends his turn. Next
turn comes to Misawa. Everybody is wondering what kind of
cards Misawa selected to play in this game. Asuka guesses
that it may be either wind type or water type deck. Drawing
a card, Misawa summons [Hydrogedon
4/1600/1000] in an attack position. At this moment,
people have realized that Misawa selected the water deck
to fight against hell/fire deck of Manjyome. Misawa declares
the attack of Hydrogedon, Hydro Blast, against Hell Soldier
at once. When Hell Soldier is destroyed, Manjyome's LP goes
down to 3600 (4000+1200-1600). Meanwhile, Manjyome activates
the special effect of Hell Soldier. When this monster is
destroyed and sent into the graveyard, the player can deal
damages directly to the opponent equal to the battle damage
the player receives. In other words, Misawa gets the same
damages as Manjyome did, so his LP also goes down to 3600
(4000+1200-1600). After that, Misawa activates the special
ability of Hedrogedon. When this monster destroys any monster
as a result of battle, the player can summon specially another
Hydrogedon from his deck. Therefore, Misawa can summon another
Hydrogedon from his deck onto the field. Misawa claims that
his battle phase hasn't finished yet. He declares the attack
of another Hydrogedon (1600) against Manjyome directly.
Without any wall monster, Manjyome gets such a strong hit
by this attack. Thus, his LP decreases to 2000 (3600-1600).
Then Misawa ends his turn.
Come to Manjyome's turn. He opens his reversed
trap card [Call of the Haunted - Living
Dead No Yobi Koe]. This is the continuous trap card
that allows him to summon a monster specially from his graveyard
onto the field in an attack mode. If this card is gone from
the field, the summoned monster must also be destroyed.
Certainly, Manjyome resummons Hell Soldier onto the field
in an attack position. After that, he plays a magic card
[Raging Summoning of Hell - Chigoku
No Boushokan]. By its effect, the players can summon
specially monsters with the same name as a monster on field
from their hand, deck, or cemetery into an attack position.
As a result, Manjyome summons two Hell Soldiers onto the
field while Misawa summons another Hydrogedon onto his field.
At this moment, Misawa and Manjyome have three monsters
on their fields. However, each Hell Soldier obtains less
attack points than each Hydrogedon. Manjyome claims that
he, no matter what, lets Misawa get the title of Obelisk
Blue. Then Manjyome plays an equipment magic card [Hell
Alliance] that can increase the equipped monster's
attack strength by 800 for each monster on the field with
the same name as its own. In other words, one Hell Soldier
can gain higher attack points from itself and the other
two Hell Soldier. Its total attack points become 3600 (1200+800*3).
Manjyome declares the attack of Hell Soldier (3600) against
Hydrogedon (1600) immediately. Thus, Misawa's LP goes down
to 1600 (3600+1600-3600). Then Manjyome ends his turn.
Next move comes to Misawa. Drawing a card,
he summons [Oxygedon 4/1800/800]
in an attack mode. He declares the attack of Oxygedon, Oxy
Stream, against Hell Soldier with 1200 attack points at
once. Thus, Manjyome's LP goes down to 1400 (2000+1200-1800).
However, by the special effect of Hell Soldier, Misawa has
to get the same battle damage as Manjyome did. As he did
previously, Misawa's LP, therefore goes down to 1000 (1600+1200-1800).
Anyway, Misawa still keeps on the attack of a Hydrogedon
(1800) against the second Hell Soldier with 1200 attack
points. Again, when Hell Soldier is destroyed, Manjyome's
LP goes down to 1000 (1400+1200-1600), and Misawa's LP decreases
to 600 (1000+1200-1600). Sho doesn't understand why Misawa
had to kill himself with the opponent. Anyway, Judai thinks
that Misawa has come to the right way. Ryo explains to his
younger brother that Hell Soldier gains 3600 attack points
from the equipment magic card and other Hell Soldier on
the field. If other Hell Soldier are destroyed, the attack
points will be reduced. Therefore, when two Hell Soldiers
are gone, the remaining Hell Solider's attack points become
2000 (1200+800 or 3600-800*2). Judai adds that Misawa intended
to lose his LP to get this weak point of the opponent. Misawa
thinks that his chance is coming closer in the next turn.
Setting a reversed card, he ends his turn.
|
Flame Majin
Hell Burner
Monster Card |
Come to Manjyome's move. Sacrificing Hell
Soldier, Manjyome summons [Flame Majin
Hell Burner - Engoku Majin Hell Burner - 6/2800/1800: This
card can only be Normal Summoned by discarding all cards
in your hand other than this card to the Graveyard and Tributing
1 monster on your side of the field with an ATK of 2000
or more. Increase the ATK of this card by 200 points for
each monster on your opponent's side of the field. Decrease
the ATK of this card by 500 points for each monster on your
side of the field other than this card] with 2800
attack points in an attack position. In fact, Manjyome has
to sacrifice all of monsters on his field and his hand in
order to summon this monster normally. This monster's attack
points can increase by 200 for each monster on the opponent's
field. There are three monsters on Misawa's field, two Hydrogedon
and one Oxygedon, so the attack points of Flame Majin Hell
Burner become 3400 (2800+200*3). If this monster attacks,
Misawa's LP (600) will go to 0. Manjyome declares the attack
of Flame Majin Hell Burner at once. Suddenly, Misawa opens
his reversed trap card [Protection
Force Barrier]. This card can be activated only if
the player has three or more monsters on his field. It can
negate the attack of the opponent and ends his battle phase
immediately. Thus, the attack of Flame Majin Hell Burner
becomes invalid, and Manjyome has to end his turn. However,
Manjyome is still certain that he will win in the next turn.
|
Water Dragon
Monster Card |
Nevertheless, Misawa is afraid that Manjyome
may not have the next turn. In his turn, drawing a card,
he plays a magic card [Bonding H2O].
By its effect, Misawa has to sacrifice two Hydrogedon and
one Oxygedon to summon [Water Dragon
8/2800/2600: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set.
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect
of Bonding - H2O. While this card is face-up on the field,
the ATK of FIRE monsters and Pyro-Type monsters become 0.
When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you
can Special Summon 2 Hydrogedons and 1 Oxygedon from your
Graveyard] specially onto the field. Since there
is only one monster left on Misawa's field, Flame Majin
Hell Burner's attack points go down to 3000 (2800+200 or
3400-200*2). However, Manjyome claims that his monster (3000)
is still greater than Water Dragon (2800). Anyway, the special
effect of Water Draon creates big wave against Flame Majin
Hell Burner and reduces its attack points to 0. Misawa explains
that as long as this monster is on the field, it can reduce
the attack points of all fire-type monsters on the field
to 0. Then Water Dragon (2800) attacks Flame Majin Hell
Burner (0), so Manjyome's LP decreases to 0 (1000-2800).
Manjyome
is finally defeated, yet he says that Misawa won this game
by chance. However, Misawa argues that the result of this
game, in fact, had already been decided before the duel
started. In other words, his victory didn't come by luck.
Misawa reveals that Manjyome actually guided him before
the duel, so he could choose the right deck for this game.
Previously, Manjyome showed his deck and declared explicitly
that it was a fire deck. Accordingly, Misawa selected the
water deck to fight against it (Basically, fire is depressed
by water). Actually, Misawa understands well that Manjyome
really threw his cards into the sea. Misawa shows Manjyome
a sample of his card, Blood Vorse, with some numerical formula
on it. All of Misawa's cards have these texts and become
unique cards in the world, so the cards thrown into the
sea with these texts all belonged to him. Anyway, Misawa
blames Manjyome for what he did to the cards. Manjyome's
act shows that he is disqualified as a true duelist.
Undoubtly,
Professor Chronos would like to promote Misawa to Obelisk
Blue without any condition. Nevertheless, Misawa refuses
this admission, claiming that he can't become the number
1 in Obelisk Blue unless he defeats Judai. In other words,
he would like to beat Judai first to be the real number
1, so he can go into Obelisk Blue. As a result, Judai gets
excited, challenging Misawa to duel now. However, Misawa
would like to put off this duel because his deck hasn't
been complete yet. The deck he played against Manjyome was
merely a trial deck. In order to beat Elemental Hero deck
of Judai, Misawa has to make up the new 7th deck. Manjyome
is getting more furious when he's realized that he was defeated
by such a trial deck. Judai is glad to wait for his duel
against Misawa. This battle will judge who will be the real
number 1. The duel between the tiger (Misawa - Yellow Tiger)
and dragon (Judai - Red Dragon) is coming soon.
Misawa |
Manjyome,
you...duelist... |
Manjyome |
Shut
up! You just won by luck of choosing the right water
deck. |
Misawa |
No,
it isn't by luck. You told me yourself before the duel.
|
[Before the duel, Manjyome said
clearly that he would use the fire deck of grudge]
|
Misawa |
That
mean the result had already been decided before the
duel. Also, Manjyome, there is no doubt that the thrown
cards in the sea actually belonged to me. |
Manjyome |
How
do you understand that? |
Misawa |
There
is some numerical memo on my cards, so this is the
proof. Thus, it is the only one card for me in the
world with this bad handwriting. Manjyome! you don't
see importance in the cards, are you still a qualified
duelist? |
Manjyome |
I
still... |
Professor
Chronos |
Misawa!,
I see you be admiited to Obelisk Blue. |
Misawa |
No,
that can't be accepted now. |
Professor
Chronos |
Oh!
Why not? |
Misawa |
I
have alraedy made a decision that when I enter Obelisk
Blue, I must be number 1. Judai, in order to enter
Obelisk Blue, I must beat you first. |
Judai |
Well,
let's duel now! I am very excited to duel against you. |
Misawa |
It
is pity that I can't do that now. |
Judai |
Heee...why? |
Misawa |
This
deck hasn't been complete yet. It is merely a trial
deck that can't beat your Elemental Hero deck. |
Judai |
Trial
Deck? |
Manjyome |
Trial
Deck? Was I really defeated by that kind of thing? |
Misawa |
Perhaps,
in order to defeat your Elemental Hero deck, I have
to use my 7th deck. |
Judai |
The
deck to defeat me? How fun! That will be our final
battle. Come on number 2! |
Misawa |
Ah! Come on number 1-Kun! Come on! |
to be continued... |
