Asuka has been trapped in the pit. Water is pouring into the hole from surrounding walls. She is getting more frightened and calling Judai for help. Professor Cobra is watching her through a surveillance camera and chuckling. The image of the eye of the mysterious monster is open over energy plasma in the container. It seems ready to revive. Meanwhile, Jim summons Flint Cragger to scare the tiger until it finally runs away. He tells her crocodile that she did a good job. Kenzan then runs in and tells him that Asuka has disappeared. On the other side, Johan and Sho are looking for Judai who also has disappeared. They haven't known yet that his friend is now dueling Professor Satou.

At the bridge, the duel between Judai and Professor Satou is continued. Both of them have 2000 LP, but Judai seems to have disadvantage. Professor Satou has four monsters - Scab Scar-Knighton, Demandman, E-Hero Burst Lady, and N-Air Hummingbird - the field in attack position. Both of them also have a card faced down on each side. Judai begins to question Professor Satou about the grudge that Professor Satou has towards him and the reason why he has to be on Professor Cobra's side. Professor Satou reveals what Professor Cobra talked to him before.

Previously, Professor Satou was walking into the teacher office after class, looking desperate. Professor Cobra then appeared in the room and said as if he understood Professor Satou pretty well. He realized that Professor Satou was bored of the non-active students at this school. Unlike the others, Professor Satou came from the poor family and joined the pro league to earn money and support his family. With his talent, he did hard work more than anyone else. However, he didn't have enough stamina to win the title match. At this moment, Professor Satou faced down and thought of the title match event when he had dueled DD, the 10-year-consecutive champ. He didn't feel well and coughed until he collapsed without finishing the match.

Thus, Professor Satou later quitted the pro league and came to Duel Acadmia to raise up duelists. Professor Cobra felt sorry to Professor Satou that nobody saw his strong intention and hard attemp. Professor Satou was very surprised by how Professor Cobra knew his background. Professor Cobra said that he could hear the voice of people's dark mind. He even knew that Professor Satou was currently thinking about taking revenge on the students who were bringing this Academia to depravity. Professor Satou followed Professor Cobra to the window, looking down to see the students Professor Cobra was talking about. There appeared Judai, Sho, and Kenzan eating some bread in the courtyard of the school.

Judai	Sensei. You seem to have some kind of grudge towards me, but what did I do! Why did you side with Cobra?
Prof. Satou	Professor Cobra. He said this to me
Prof. Cobra	Satou-sensei. You can't bear it right? It'll be nervous just to watch. Students of this Academia. Born in poor house, you became pro duelist without going through proper courses. But your talent that would make you become champ was like sacrifices. Because for the sake of family, you sold yourself for trivial fighters to earn money. Up till now, you dueled ten times more than normal pro duelists. You always wasted your talent on people like trashes' darkmatch(the match before main one). And by the title match, you didn't even have stamina to clutch the glory. After quitting pro, you came to this academia with resolution to devote your life to raising duelist. Thinking that your experiences in hundred matches will be some help to students. Wouldn't it be really sad thing, the spiritlessness of students of this academia.
Prof. Satou	How do you know this?
Prof. Cobra	I can hear special voices. I can know. The dark said of a person's mind.
Prof. Satou	The dark side of a person's mind?
Prof. Cobra	You're probably thinking it. You want revenge on the certain student who lead this academy to depravity.

Professor Satou questions Judai which person is bad between the person who sees trash on the ground but doesn't pick it up and the person who doesn't see it and doesn't pick it up. Judai replies confidently that it must be the person who sees it but doesn't pick it up. Professor Satou says that it's the wrong answer. The person who sees trash may change his mind and pick it up one day. However, the person who even isn't aware of trash is worse because he will never pick it up at all. This person can be compared to a fool or Judai.

Judai is afraid that he is unable to argue. Anyway, he tells Professor Satou not to judge him by his mere thought. Professor Satou claims that Judai's bad behaviors are very cruel. He is mostly absent. Although he comes to class, he always falls asleep. His exam grade is also relatively F. Judai realizes that this may be bad for Professor Satou, but not everything is bad. Professor Satou explains that it's an issue because other students followed Judai by losing their spirits one by one.

Once in the classroom, Professor Satou was lecturing and seeing a sleeping Ra Yellow student. When he waked him up, the student turned to Judai sleeping on the other side. Professor Satou wasn't pleased but didn't say anything. He kept on the lecture normally. Looking around the classroom, the number of the students decreased. Also, most of them always slept or felt sleepy in class except for one student, Tenjoin Asuka. She was the only one who listened to what Professor Satou said. However, one day, she also disappeared along with other students.

Professor Satou wouldn't care if Judai was a common duelist without talent. However, Judai is considered a hero who could beat the three legendary demons and save the world from the light of ruin. Everybody sees him as a model in Duel Academia. If a hero can sleep and be lazy, he or she can do so. Judai doesn't think so that he is great like that. Professor Satou says that great power comes with great responsibility. Judai isn't aware of it as same as that he isn't aware of trash on ground. Because he isn't aware, other people aren't aware, either. People can throw trash on the ground without seeing and picking it up. Similarly, the students can't exercise and improve their talents or spirits because they follow Judai. Thus, Judai is like a rotten orange among other good oranges in an orange box. It will make other oranges rotten as well. Before this will happen, Professor Satou decides to cut him off.

Prof. Satou	Have you ever heard some question like this? There is a trash on ground, and there are two people. One notices that trash is on ground, but doesn't pick it up, the other person doesn't notice it and doesn't pick it up. Which person is bad?
Judai	Obviously, the person who knew trash was on ground, but didn't pick it up.
Prof. Satou	Wrong. The one who knows that there is trash on ground might pick it up one day. However, the person who doesn't know it will never pick it up. Judai-kun. You're also the foolish person who doesn't know that trash is on ground.
Judai	Don't decide my personality by yourself.

Prof. Satou	Judai, you're like a rotten orange in an orange box. So I'll shuffle you out!!

It's now Professor Satou's turn. He draws a card and says that Judai's field is totally wiped out, so he should be finished in this turn. He declares the attack of E-Hero Burst Lady against Judai directly. E-Hero Burst Lady jumps up and shoots Judai with fire ball. At this moment, Judai opens his counter trap card [Negate Attack ~ Kougeki No Muryoku Ka - Counter Trap: When your opponent attacks with a monster, negate the attack and make your opponent's Battle Phase end] to negate the attack of E-Hero Burst lady and ends the battle phase immediately

Scab Blast Spell Card

As expected that Judai might not be taken, Professor Satou plays the spell card [Scab Blast - Spell: Inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points for each Scab Counter on the field x200 points. If this card is in the Graveyard, during your Draw Phase, you can add this card to your hand instead of conducting your Normal Draw]. This card will inflict direct damages to Judai equal to 200 points for each Scab Counter on the field. E-Hero Burst Lady and N-Air Hummingbird are attached by Scab Counters due to Scab Scar-Knight's effects and controlled on Professor Satou's side, so Judai has to receive 400 (200*2) direct damages. Both of Judai's monsters jump up and shoot Judai by black aura. This makes Judai's LP reduce to 1600 (2000-400). Professor Satou ends his turn at this point.

It's now Judai's turn. He draws a card and gets Polymerization. The cards on the other hand are Cocoon-Larva, Spark Gun, E-Hero Featherman, and E-Hero Bubbleman. He first summons [E-Hero Bubbleman - 4/800/1200: If this is the only card in your hand, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned successfully, if there are no other cards on your side of the field and in your hand, you can draw 2 cards from your Deck] onto the field in attack position. Due to its effect, when Judai has no other card left on the field, he can draw 2 new cards.

Judai then sets up a face-down card and uses Polymerization to fuse E-Hero Featherman on his hand and E-Hero Bubbleman on the field into [E-Hero Sailorman - 5/1400/1000: This card can only be Special Summoned by a Fusion Summon. According to E-Hero Sailorman's effect, when Judai has a spell or trap card on his field, he can let it attack Professor Satou directly. Professor Satou's LP decreases to 600 (2000-1400). Meanwhile, water is pouring into the hole, covering a half of Asuka's body. She is getting worried by how she should do at this time. Professor Cobra is watching her and Judai's duel over the surveillance and chuckling.

Seeing Professor Satou's LP decrease to 600, Judai tells him that it's time for him to go and see Professor Cobra. He no longer has time to hear his complaints. Professor Satou tells him that Judai will win neither him nor Professor Cobra because they have something that Judai doesn't have. Judai is very curious what it is. Professor Satou explains that it's the sleeping darkness in mind. Most duelists have it, but Judai doesn't. For Professor Satou, he has dueled for expectation and surviving, so he can understand. Once he was in a league, letting his Scab Scar-Knight strike down monsters in a crowded duel arena. People were pleased as the monster was burnt in flame. A piece of its armor fell off as people applauded. This was Professor Satou's life. He thinks that the person like Judai who always duels for fun will never understand.

Professor Cobra interrupts their discussion by appearing above the duel through a holographic projector. He doesn't think that the kid like Judai will understand what Professor Satou is talking. Judai looks a bit surprised by seeing Professor Cobra at this place. Professor Cobra greets him and tells him better only provide his duel energy. Then, he shows the picture of Asuka trapped in a pit filled by water. Her lift is connected to this duel. When Professor Satou's LP goes down, more water pours into the room. Junko and Momoe ran to her, inviting her to join Judai and the others who were going to the sea. Asuka agreed to go with them, making a comment that she didn't like Professor Satou's old-fasioned lecture.

Professor Satou is certainly shocked. He has thought for a long time that at least Asuka was different from other students. Thus, he is very disappointed, turning back to the game and telling Judai to continue the game. Judai is getting more worried by the situation. Professor Satou has an invincible Scab Scar-Knight on his field. If his LP decreases, Asuka will be more in danger. Professor Cobra is glad to see Judai suffering. The more Judai suffers, the more he expresses duel energy.

Prof. Cobra	Huhuhu~ it doesn't matter. Even if you say something like that to a kid like that.
Judai	Cobra!

The turn moves to Professor Satou. When he enters his standby phase, he activates the effect of Scab Blast in his graveyard. He can get it back onto his hand instead of drawing. Repeatedly, he plays Scab Blast to let E-Hero Burst Lady and N-Air Hummingbird attack Judai directly by dark energy. Judai's LP decreases to 1200 (1600-200*2).

Gift of Martyr Spell Card

Professor Satou then plays the spell card [Gift of Martyr ~ Uketsukareru Chikara - Spell: Send 1 monster on your side of the field to the Graveyard. Select 1 monster on your side of the field. Increase the ATK of the selected monster by an amount equal to the ATK of the sent monster until the End Phase of the turn this card is activated]. Accordint to its effect, he can send a monster on the field to the cemetery and increase the attack points of another monster on the field by the attack points of the sent monster. Thus, Professor Satou selects to send N-Air Hummingbird to the graveyard and increase the attack points of E-Hero Burst Lady by N-Air Hummingbird's strength points. The attack points of E-Hero Burst lady become 2000 (1200+800).

Scab pieces of N-Air Hummingbird are attached to E-Hero Burst Lady. Professor Satou declares the attack of E-Hero Burst Lady towards E-Hero Sailorman. E-Hero Burst Lady shoots fire ball to destroy it, so Judai's LP decreases to 600 (1200+1400-2000). Judai is again during crisis as Professor Satou chuckles with his lead.

Sho and Johan return to the elevator, but don't see Judai return. Johan goes into the elevator and finds that the electricity has already been cut off. Thus, the elevator is no longer working. Sho is scared since they may not be able to return to the ground. Johan thinks that they have to join Judai to find Professor Cobra as soon as possible. Sho agrees with him.

Meanwhile, an "H" text lights up in the sky as Professor Satou looks over. Judai is activating his trap card [Hero Signal - Trap: You can only activate this card when a monster on your side of the field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle. Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand or Deck that includes E-Hero in its card name] to special summon [E-Hero Sparkman - 4/1600/1400] from his hand onto the field in attack position. Here is supposed to be the end of Professor Satou's turn (He has Scab Scar-Knight and Demandman with lower attack points than E-Hero Sparkman's).

The turn comes to Judai. He draws a card and equipes E-Hero Sparkman with [Spark Gun - Equipment Spell: You can only equip this card to E-Hero Sparkman. During the Main Phase of your turn, you can change the battle position of 1 face-up monster. After you use this effect 3 times, destroy this card]. By the effect of Spark Gun, it's shot out to change the position of Scab Scar-Knight into defense position. Judai realizes that Scab Scar-Knight is invincible only in the condition that it's in attack position. In other words, if it's in defense position, its special effect can't be activated or played.

Victim Barrier Trap Card

Professor Satou is impressed by Judai's play. It's true that Scab Scar-Knight's attack effect can't be activated in defense mode. If Judai attacks Scab Scar-Knight, Professor Satou's LP can't be decreased and Asuka is still safe. Then, Judai lets E-Hero Sparkman attack Scab Scar-Knight. Professor Satou quickly opens his trap card [Victim Barrier - Counter Trap: You can activate this card when an opponent's monster declares an attack. You can change the target of the attack and resume battle as normal. If the monster after the change has Scab Counters placed on it, place 1 Scab Counter on an opponent's monster when the battle is finished].

By its effect, Professor Satou can change the attack targe from Scab Scar-Knight to E-Hero Burst Lady. As a result, Hero Burst Lady is destroyed instead, and Professor Satou's LP decreases to 200 (600+1200-1600). Judai feels bad that he already missed, looking up to see Asuka. On the other side, Jim and Kenzan are searching for Asuka (Kenzan calls Asuka as Asuka-Sempei or Senior Asuka while Jim calls her as Tomorrow Girl following her name's meaning). Kenzan is getting worried by where she has been. Then, Karen begins to walk off. Kenzan wonders whether she can catch something, so he and Jim decide to follow her. Karen stops at the closed pit trap where Asuka fell down. Kenzan puts his ears closer and hears the sound of water. Jim thinks that there may be water flowing down there because Karen can sense it. They also hear the sound of Asuka coming out, and she is asking for help.

Jim and Kenzan realize that Asuka is down there, so try to open the pit trap. However, the trap seems completely sealed, and it can't be open. Jim looks into the forest and thinks that water must flow from somewhere else. He begins to run off to see the origin of water, following by Karen and Kenzan. They discover the source of water at a little waterfall and lake. Karen first dives in before Jim tosses his diel disc to Kenzan and divers underwater with karen. He holds her as diving, going to a channel towards the way water is going.

At the bridge, Professor Satou asks what Judai is going to do. He sees this seem to be the end of Judai. Now is Professor Satou's turn. Again, instead of drawing a card, he activates the effect Scab Blast to return it from the cemetery onto his hand. Afterwards, he turns Scab Scar-Knight back to attack mode, declaring the attack of E-Hero Sparkman towards Judai directly.

At this moment, Judai opens his face-down trap card [A Hero Emerges ~ Hero Kensan - Trap: When your opponent declares an attack, he/she randomly selects 1 card from your hand. If it is a Monster Card, Special Summon it on your side of the field. If not, send it to the Graveyard]. By its effect, Professor Satou has to select Judai's cards on his hand. If it's a monster card, Judai can special summon it onto the field. Judai has 2 cards left on his hand, and Professor Satou selects the left card.

Judai is glad that Professor Satou gets it right. It's [E-Hero Neos - 7/2500/2000], so Judai can special summoned it onto the field in attack position. Because E-Hero Neos has higher attack points than E-Hero Sparkman, Professor Satou has to cancel the attack of E-Hero Sparkman immediately. Judai smirks and feels relieved. Anyway, Professor Satou can't let him go easy, playing Scab Blast to inflict direct damage from E-Hero Sparkman (The only one card that has Scab Counter) to Judai. Judai's LP decreases to 400 (600-200*1).

Judai is getting more concerned although he has E-Hero Neos. He is also worried about Asuka, looking up to see her condition through hologram system. He notices water bubbling. Asuka can also notice it, so she looks down at the base of the pit. The bricks begin to shake and bubble ominously. Then, they are finally broken as Jim is swiming up along with Karen. He takes Asuka's hand and brings her out safely. Professor Cobra is watching the situation through surveillance camera. He gets a bit mad at the interfere of many people.

When Asuka could escape safely, the hologram disappears. Judai feels relieved and doesn't have to be worried about anything. He can now focus on the duel. The turn comes to Judai. He draws a card and declares the attack of E-Hero Neos against Scab Scar-Knight. At this timing, Professor Satou opens his face-down trap card [Scab Scream - Trap: {When a Scab Scar-Knight on your side of the field is destroyed by a monster with an ATK of 2000 points or more, decrease Battle Damage to 0 and destroy the attacking monster. Afterwards, send Scab Scar-Knight to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 Crying Scar-Knight from your hand or your Deck.}]

By its effect, when the monster with the attack points higher than 2000 strieks, this trap card can decrease the battle damages to 0 and destroy the attacking monster. Professor Satou hopes Judai, the duelist who doesn't know the dark mind, will be defeated here. E-Hero Neos is finally destroyed by Scab Scream. Scab Scar-Knight roars as all of its scab pieces burst off, and there appears very bright light. Judai sees the roaring monster that glows and eventually disappears. There reveals a revealing a humanoid warrior with brown skin, a blade on one arm, a shield, and dark brown armor.

Judai doubts whether this is the true form of Scar-Knight, [Crying Scar-Knight - 1/0/0: This card cannot be Normal Summoned and can only be Special Summoned through the effects of Scab Scream. By offering this card as a tribute during your End Phase, destroy all monsters on the field. Inflict damage to both player's Life Points equal to the number of monster(s) destroyed in this way, x500 points]. This monster is special summoned by the effect of Scab Scream.

Scab Scream Spell Card	Crying Scar-Knight Monster Card

Professor Satou explains that the real knight has fought for hope and expection. When he dueled by this monster, it's like an entertainment for audiences. His monster could beat many monsters, but it had to keep on battling one after another. At a day, it was destroyed by Kaiser Dragon. Professor Satou was knocked down as his eyeglasses flew up and was broken. The audiences were unpleased, throwing things to him on stage, calling him a weak person, and jeering his failure.

The spirit of his monster tried to protect and hold him, but shoes and drinks all passed through its transparent body. It held up an arm to reveal scabbed shells to protect Professor Satou. When Professor Satou got up, he was glad that at least his Scar Knight could understand him. Professor Satou tells Judai that this is the final form of the Scar Knight that has kept on fighting for hopes and expectations. Even Judai looks very amazed by such a scar hero in front of him.

Prof. Satou	Yes. He had fought with everyone's hope and expectations. But through all victories, Scar Knight battled one after another...

Professor Satou asks what Judai is going to play next. Judai looks at the card on his hand, and summons [Cocoon Larva - 2/300/300: By tributing this card while Neo Space is on the field, Special Summon 1 Neo Spacian Flare Scarab from your hand or Deck] onto the field in defense position. Setting a face-down card, he ends his turn.

The turn comes to Professor Satou. He hopes that he can go along with the duelist like Judai, activating the last effect of his Crying Scar-Kinght. It can destroy all monsters on the field even itself and inflict 500 damage points for each destroyed monster to the controllers. This seems a suicide. As he said, Professor Satou intends to end the game along with Judai. As a result, Crying Scar-Knight, Demandman, and E-Hero Neos on Professor Satou's side are destroyed while Cocoon Larva on Judai's field is destroyed. The explosion is so bright that Johan and Sho on the other side can see it.

When smoke fades, there appears Judai shielded by a trap card [Cocoon Veil - Trap: Offer a monster on your side of the field that includes Cocoon in its card name as a tribute to decrease damage to a player from an effect to 0. Afterwards, Special Summon 1 monster written on the monster, offered as a tribute, that includes Cocoon in its name that includes Neo Spacian in its name from your Deck, hand, or Graveyard]. Judai had activated it on time before the explosion of all monsters.
