Previously, Professor Cobra is watching energy plasma floating in the capsule container, chucking and enjoying the instinct duel between Kenzan and Jim. The alert then reveals an intruder, Amon Garam, sneaking close to this secret building. Professor Cobra doubts whether Amon can catch something about this place. He bites his lip for a moment and thinks that he shouldn't let him pass.

Meanwhile, Kenzan and Jim are hooked up to life-saving machines in the medical room. Teacher Ayukawa asks Johan, Sho, and Judai to confirm whether Jim's words are true. Judai is about to answer but seems to forget, so Johan rewords what Jim said before that once the duel finished, energy was flown away to somewhere by Dis-Belts. Sho confirms that this is the truth. Asuka says that she didn't feel anything at all when she did Dis-Duel. Sho notes that it's because the electronic wave occasionally gets stronger. It also became strong when Judai dueled O'Brien. Asuka concludes whether this means it's dangerous for students to perform Dis-Duel when the electronic wave is strong. Teacher Ayukawa is very amazed by how this can happen. As the group is discussing, Karen is laying down as if it's guarding Jim's bed from underneath the sheet.

Ayukawa	Crocodile-kun said something like that?
Judai	Yes, it's...
Johan	Clearly... that... The moment when the duel finishes, energy gets transferred to somewhere else through Dis-Belt.
Sho	Yes, exactly.
Asuka	I didn't feel it when I did Dis-Duel myself.
Sho	Electromagnetic wave gets stronger sometimes. It got stronger when Aniki and O'Brian were dueling.
Asuka	Then, the students who dueled at the time when the wave got stronger is in danger?
Ayukawa	You don't say so!!

At teacher office, Professor Chronos, Vice Principal Napoleon, and Teacher Ayukawa are discussing about the current situation. Professor Chronos looks very shocked by the news. Teacher Ayukawa can't say surely that Jim is right. However, the fact is that the number of students getting exhausted after Dis-Duel has been increasing. Professor Chronos doubts that they may get tired because of continuous duels for 24 hours. Their bodies and minds may not bear this tough duels. Vice Principal Napoleon says angrily that no matter what the cause is, this dangerous should be stopped quickly. Professor Chronos asks him what's with him for his suddenly angry look. Vice Principal Napoleon replies that he as a vice principal is merely concerned about the students.

Professor Cobra enters the office and interrupts their discussion with a stern expression. He explains that this is a very common situation happening at Duel Academia West School. He also suggests people just watch and wait for the result. Only a month later, students will change and become great duelists like real warriors. Teacher Ayukawa is about to argue, but Professor Cobra stops her by raising his hand. He smirks and gives an excuse to avoid further discussion that he now has to go and consult a student for some problem. He will talk about other things later, walking off calmly. Vice Principal Napoleon once walks off alone, and Professor Chronos asks where he is heading. Vice Principal Napoleon anwsers that he has just come up with an important thing to do.

Chronos	If that is true, this is serious problem!!
Ayukawa	Except for those four, the number of students who experience exhaustance after Dis-Duel is increasing. I can't say for sure that Crocodile-kun is correct.
Chronos	But... it could be that because of the pressure that you must duel for 24 hours, students' bodies and minds wouldn't stand.
Napoleon	Whatever the cause is, that kind of dangerous duel should be stopped quickly!
Chronos	What's with you Napolean vice-principal? Getting angry like that.
Napoleon	No, I'm worrying for students for real as vice-principal...
Prof. Cobra	It seemed that you did such a losened-up lessons so far. It was same in West Academia when Dis-Duel started. You had better just watch and wait. One month later, students will change and become duelists like warriors!
Ayukawa	But Professor Cobra!! Especially with those four who had been injured, with normal duels...
Prof. Cobra	Excuse me, I have to go to consult a student with some problem. We'll talk about further things later.
Chronos	Eh, Napolean vice-principal? Where are you going?
Napoleon	I just remembered one important thing to do.

The student whom Professor Cobra is going to solve the problem with is actually Amon Garam. He is going to meet him on the deck of the school building. There, Amon is describing the situation of Dis-Duels. Professor Cobra interrupts him. Amon looks a bit surprised while turning back. Professor Cobra asks Amon directly whether Amon has any problem with his teaching because he hasn't seen him do Dis-Duel at any single time. Amon answers politely that he has just focused on theorical study and been a bit afraid of actual duel. Professor Cobra warns him that the midterm result will be posted next week. If Amon doesn't do any Dis-Duel by this Friday 8.00 PM., he will be expelled from Duel Academia and return to his East School. If possible, Professor Cobra doesn't want to dishonor him, the member of Garam family. Amon thanks for his advice with uncertain face.

On the other side at Ra Yellow, Rei is chasing after a Ra Yellow student, calling him [Martin]. Martin finally stops and turns back. Rei forces him to eat his lunch box since he always looks exhausted with pale face. Martin gives an excuse that he was born with this kind of face, and he is also very full due to the dorm food. Rei doesn't care, forcing him to open his mouth and eat. At the same time, Vice Principal Napoleon is hiding himself in bush nearby. He feels relieved that Martin is safe. Martin seems to have some relation with him. Since many students have been collapsing, Vice Principal Napoleon is worried about Martin. Thus, he comes here to see by himself how Martin is.

Amon	Professor Cobra. You called me?
Prof. Cobra	Amon-Kun, you haven't done any single Dis-Duel yet, have you? Do you have anything about my way of teaching?
Amon	No, no way. It could be just that I was only studying duel theories so I was scared of actual action.
Prof. Cobra	Then that's all right. Next week, we will put midterm results of Dis-Duels. Thus, if you don't duel this week, you may have to leave Duel Academia and return to East School. I don't want to dishonor a Garam family member if I can. Do you understand. Do Dis-Duel by this friday 8 p.m.! You got it?

Elsewhere, O'Brien is crawling in a vent system, dropping from a grate into Professor Cobra's office. He digs through each desk shelf and finds that the top shelf is locked. He, therefore, opens it by a tool, and there appear some documents. O'Brien takes them out to take a look, seeing a Duel Academia picture. It's the map of the island with a spot in the forest circled in red with text [SAL Lab]. He realizes that it's the place that's not used anymore (This used to be a duel animal - Duel Monkey SAL - lab in GX Season I, episode 13).

Professor Cobra is currently looking at energy plasma, thinking about the situation, "I didn't expect the energy to be gathered this much. However, most of them are from Judai, O'brian, Kenzan and Jim's duels. And the rest is from by the result of increasing the draining rate. I know it gives great effect, but it gives great deal of damage to the duelists' bodies as payment. Brainless staffs of Academia have noticed as well and if I cause any more trouble, there will be some complications with the plan. But, Amon, who knows the secret is an exception. When he does his first dis-duel, I'll increase draining level to maximum. Will he be able to bear the maximum duel energy draining rate?". He looks at a Dis-Belt in his hand, sits in his chair, and watched the data on screen. It's apparent that Amon will be his next target. He will increase the draining level, which also increases the electronic wave level, to obtain his duel energy.

In the Obelisk Blue dorm, Amon is in his room, opening a suitcase and making a call. He says "Cogito Ergo Sum" as a passscode (See the real meaning of this French words in episode 108), looking at the schematics of his Dis-Belt. He thinks, "As I've expected! The draining rate of this Dis-Belt can be changed from far away. When the draining rate is set at maximum, it is possible to die! Cobra guy, the reason why he egged me to duel is... If I don't figure out his plan, my life is at danger!". Amon finally figures out the truth and thinks of the way to deal with his coming Dis-Duel.

At Osiris Red, Asuka and Sho come to see Judai and Johan walking down from his room. Judai asks why two of them have come. They tell him about the invitation to the party tonight while showing invitation letters. Blue and Yellow students are invited to the party that will be held at Obelisk Blue hall. Johan has just realized that he has got one invitation letter as well as taking it out. Judai is annoyed a bit since only he doesn't get anything. Meanwhile, Manjyome looks out through the door from his room and listens to what people are talking about.

Sho explains that this party is held by Amon whose family made a lot of donation to the school. Amon sets up this party to get along with people. This may not matter to Judai since he isn't invited anyway. Sho can notice Judai getting annoyed since Red students aren't invited. Asuka tells him that she isn't gonna go since she plans to go and help Teacher Ayukawa. Sho says cheerfully that he prefers having a party together with them at Red dorm. Judai agrees and suggests everybody steal food from the party. Sho thinks that Judai is very stingy. Johan doesn't care and thinks that being stingy is also wonderful as long as they can eat. Judai agree before enjoying and marching off arm and arm with Johan. After listening to the whole story, Manjyome gets back into his room quietly.

Judai	What are you doing, you two?
Asuka	Tonight's party what are you going to do about it?
Judai	Party?
Asuka	This.
Judai	What is it?
Sho	All the people in Blue dorm and Yellow has been invited.
Johan	Now you mention it, it came to me too.
Judai	Uuk! Why hasn't it come to me?
Sho	Maybe, Amon-kun's family is really rich so they donated so much money when he entered.
Manjyome	Donation?
Sho	It seems this party has been organized by Amon-kun's family to get along well.
Asuka	It's going to be organized in Blue Dorm's party room so it should be full of Blue and Yellow Dorm people.
Judai	Chet~ I'll always be red anyways.
Sho	Heh~ Big Brother, are you sulky?
Asuka	As I'm going yo help Ayukawa sensei, I'm not going to the party.
Sho	Big Brother, for us, with us why don't we throw a party in red dorm by ourselves~
Johan	That's good.
Judai	Then lets get food from that party hall.
Asuka	Aah?
Sho	It's somewhat cheapskate-ish
Johan	Though it's somewhat cheapskate-ish, it's cool.
Judai	Yes~ yes~

Manjyome comes back to his computer and does a search on "Amon Garam". He enters this name into a search engine and click search, and there is a party invitation card beside his computer. The information about this family appears on screen, and Manjyome reads it along with analyzing the situation. Amon Garam is the top of Duel Academia East school and also the son of the 5 world-class business group, Garam Finance. His family invests in multi-businesses: petroleum, heavy chemical, and IT industries. Other information on screen reveals 2006 current president of the company, [Goa Garam]. There are links to Garam home page and information download. Manjyome tries to get, but there is http 405 error page (The page can't be open). Manjyome doubts whether the information about the worldwide rich son of Garam family can't be avialble for public.

Manjoume's eyes narrow as he leans back in his chair. From the whole data he has got, he realizes that Garam Finance is bigger than Manjyome Group. Ojama Yellow looks at the data and doubts whether Amon Garam is also rich. Manjyome gets annoyed and jumps up to his feet. He tells them to shut up with furious. He isn't the person whose heart will be disturbed by the comparision of financial power between Garam and Manjyome families. From the time when he turned to [Manjyome Thunder], he has been self-righteous and gone to his own road. Whatever he can't stand is that despite his hard attempt to become the top of Duel Academia, Amon Garam tries to go beyond by using financial power. He can't forgive him for this act. After he said, the thunder is called down and destroys the computer with Garam information. Ojama Trios think that Manjyome is just jealous of Amon who is superior to himself.

Note:
1) Manjyome says "Yuugadokuson" that means "Only I am holy" or "Self-righteous/conceited" attitude. It represents his pride to go through his own path without the name of the family.
2) Manjyome says "Yuuru-Thunder" that is the adjusted word for "Yuurusanai", which actually means "I can't forgive you". He just plays the word to match his Thunder character and call real thunder to destroy his computer.

But I understand that Garam Finance is bigger than Manjyome Group.

Manjyome	Shut up! Now I'm not weak enough that my heart will be shaken by the comparison of financial power between both families!! From the moment I became 'Manjyome Thunder', only I am holy, I will go on my way!

Manjyome	But!! But!! But!! With my own tearful effort, I'm standing as no. 1 of Duel Academia! Amon Garam, who aims to get above me by using his family's financial power! I won't forgive him!
Ojama Yellow	How cruel !! Isn't it just that he got jealous?
Ojama Green/Black	Yes~ yes~

The time for the party has come at Obelisk Blue hall. Many students gather at the party. Rei samples a piece from the table and offers Martin to try it because it's good. Martin is afraid to refuse, but Rei forces him to eat. If Martin keeps on rejecting like this, he will collapse in Duel Academia. Martin seems to have no choice but follow her.

Amon then walks in and makes an announcement. He thanks everybody for coming and expresses the purpose of this party. Because he moved to the princical school, he would like to know people better. He sets up this party for this purpose. There is also another plan today. He realizes that this plan may destroy the party, but he would like to open Dis-Duels here and now. The person who shows such a splendid duel will receive a gold and jewels duel disk, which is a treasure of Garam family. Rei gets excited, shaking Martin's shoulder and encouraging him to duel her.

Meanwhile, O'Brien is sneaking closer to SAL Lab located on the map, and there is the secret building Professor Cobra is working. Professor Cobra stares psychotically at the duel energy container and later Amon's data on screen. It's about time for Amon Garam. He realizes that Amon has not choice but to do Dis-Duel within 8.00 PM. today to stay in Duel Academia. He also feels sorry to Amon's opponent because he plans to increase the draining level at maximum. This may cause both players to die at the end, but Professor Cobra doesn't care. He expects to see the last Dis-Duel of Amon.

At the party, Amon declares the begining of Dis-Duels. The students in attendance as well as Rei and Martin begin to duel for the prize. Many monsters such as Mirage Dragon/Trojan Horse/Asura Priest are summoned and attack one another. Amon then walks off in the distraction with his glasses reflecting the light ominously. He feels greatful for everybody's help to be his substitutes. If there is only one Dis-Duel between him and his partner, it's risky that the maximum electronic wave will take the whole of their duel energy and they then die. Nevertheless, if there are many Dis-Duels at the same time, this risk will be shared to other students. In other words, Professor Cobra is going to do carnage if he increases the draining level at maximum. Amon puts on a green scarf as walking outside. He looks at his Dis-Belt and thinks about the next plan to find his own opponent.

Professor Cobra is getting shocked by a shift in the plasmer. He types his keyboard quickly to show the data. It brings up many duelist pictures perfoming Dis-Duels now. He doesn't understand what's happening that makes many students dueling simultaneously. The energy plasma in the container is bubbling ominously as he looks on. Professor Cobra is concerned by the situation if this is running on.

Rei	This is tasty. Wanna eat it?
Martin	No, I...
Rei	If you keep on rejecting like that, you won't be able to survive at Duel Academia!
Martin	yes...
Amon	Everyone. Thanks for gathering here today. I moved to the princial school and would like to know everybody, so I organized this party. Though it's not good, my father has sent a present to Duel Academia, wishing its prosperity. I have another plan today. Though it could ruin party, I'd like to orgnize an Dis-Duel competition in this party. Of course, it's not all. The person who showed splendid duel will receive this duel disk made out of gold and jewels, treasure of Garam family.
Rei	Alright~ Okay Maruchii~ Duel me!
Martin	Ah~
Prof. Cobra	It's nearly ending time! Amon Garam. For your mission, betting Garam family's fate you will duel to stay in Academia. Pity for the opponent of his. I'll increase draining level by maximum. I'm looking forward to your last Dis-Duel, Amon Garam!
Amon	Then, we'll begin the duel!

Amon	(I thank you for subsitution everyone. I should find an opponent and have a Dis-Duel soon...)
Prof. Cobra	Um? What!! This is!! (What happened? Suddenly, many duels started all at once!) No!! If this goes on!!

Amon is leaving Blue dorm with his duel disk on his arm. He feels that the whether seems strange to him. Manjyome appears in front and comments that it's such a good weather for a duel. Manjoume's coat flutters in the wind as he is standing on a platform. As Amon is doubting about his identity, Manjyome introduces his full name, Manjyome Jun, to him. The glass platform is left by a helicopter. On the other side, Amon finds himself suspended by a similar platform and lifted up by another helicopter.

Judai, Sho, Johan, and Asuka are sneaking nearby Blue dorm to seal food from the party. Sho is concerned by whether it will be okey to act like this. Johan tells him that they just want to share not to steal. Judai thinks that nobody will notice during the party. For Asuka, she doesn't understand why she has to follow everybody here. Suddenly, they see two helicopters flying pass and hovering in front of Obelisk Blue dome above the lake. Manjyome and Amon are on the glass platforms hung beneath them. Thus, everybody runs off to see them closer.

Manjyome and Amon are facing each other before Amon begins to ask what Manjyome intends to do. Manjyome tells him that he knows Amon is an heir of Garam Finance group. In his view, a duel is what one goes on by oneself, or it has nothing to deal with families. Thus, he would like to make a conclusion with Amon here. Amon asks back what will happen if he refuses. Manjyome tells him that if that's the case, he will cut the wires hanging his platform.

Of course, Amon doesn't like the way it runs. He looks at his Dis-Belt and thinks that Professor Cobra should be surprised by now because serveral Dis-Duels are running at the same time. If he increases the draining level at maximum, he is going to kill not only Amon and Manjyome but many students. Considering Manjyome as GX Tournament winnder, Amon thinks he is good enough to be his opponent. Thus, Amon accepts the challenge. Manjyome is sure this answer will come. Judai, Johan, Asuka, and Sho change their mind to steal food but pay attention to this Dis-Duel. Manjyome and Amon then declare to begin the duel.

Amon	The weather has gotten pretty bad.
Manjyome	No, it's such a good weather to have a duel.
Amon	You probably are...
Manjyome	Manjyome Jun
Sho	Is this okay? Stealing food from party hall?
Johan	It's not stealing. It's sharing a bit.
Judai	As it's in the middle of party, I don't think anybody will notice.
Asuka	But why did I come here with you guys?
Judai	Those are Manjyome and Amon!?
Amon	What are you planning to do?
Manjyome	An heir of Garam Finance, and I'm the third son of Manjyome group. But duel is something that one goes through by oneself! Let's get this done over here!
Amon	If I don't want to?
Manjyome	Then I'll disconnect the wires.
Amon	Though I can't say this kind of way is justified. (Cobra, he should be surprised by now because so many Dis-Duels are going on at once? If he increases the level of draining to maximum, it'll become carnage. Genex winner Manjyome, he is good enough to be an opponent). Okay, I'll take your challenge.
Manjyome	You should come out like that.
Johan	it's about to start.
Judai	Ah!
Manjyome/Amon	Duel!

The first turn is with Amon. He draws a card and plays a spell card [Lucky Cloud - Spell: If you Normal Summon, Flip Summon, or Special Summon 2 or more Cloudian monsters of the same name during this turn, draw 2 cards from your Deck during the End Phase of this turn]. By its effect, if he successfully summons two monsters in this turn, he can draw two cards at the end phase. Amon looks at the moon coming from the clouds, seeing that the weather turns good and smiling.

Amon plays another spell card [Summon Cloud - Continuous Spell: Send 1 card in your hand to the Graveyard during your Standby Phase. If you do not send a card, destroy this card. You can Special Summon a Level 4 or less monster that includes Cloudian in its card name from your hand or cemetery]. Manjyome looks a bit surprised by another cloud card. Amon explains. A heavenly light shines from the clouds while Amon is explaining its effect. It allows him to special summon a level 4 or lower cloudian monster from his hand each turn.

Thus, he special summons two [Cloudian - Sheep Cloud - 1/0/0: When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 2 Sheep Cloud Tokens (Fairy-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) to your side of the field. Sheep Cloud Tokens cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon except for Cloudian monsters] onto the field in defense position. Because two monsters were summoned successfully, Amon can activate the ability of Lucky Cloud to draw two new cards at this end phase. Here is the end of his turn.

Judai and Johon are getting impressed by Amon's Cloud deck. It looks very interesting to them. The turn moves to Manjyome. Drawing a card, he gets Different Dimension Hangar. Other cards on another hand are V-Tiger Jet, X-Head Cannon, Hyper Coat, Premature Burial, and Polymerization. He first plays the spell card [Different Dimension Hangar ~ Ijigen Kakunouko - Continuous Spell: {Select 3 Level 4 or lower Union Monsters from your Deck and remove them from play. If a monster is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned on your side of the field and if that monster fufills the requirements written on the Union Monster Card removed from the play by this card's effect, you can Special Summon that Union Monster. The Union Monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot attack or be used as a tribute.}].

A black rift swirls above his head as he removes. According to its effect, he has to remove level 3-4 lower union monsters, W-Wing Catapult, Y-Dragon Head, and Z-Metal Tank, from his deck from play. In addition, if he can summon a monster that fufills the requirements written on the union monster cards removed from the play by this spell card's effect, you can special Summon that union monster.

Manjyome next normal summons [V-Tiger Jet - 4/1600/1800] onto the field in attack position. Since V-Tiger Jet fulfils the requirements of W-Wing Catapult, by Different Dimension Hangar's effect, Manjyome can special summon [W-Wing Catapult - 4/1300/1500: Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this card on the field, you can equip it to your V-Tiger Jet as an Equip Card, OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, increase the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster by 400 points. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster is destroyed as a result of battle, destroy this card instead.)] onto the field in attack position.

Manjyome forms V-Tiger Jet and W-Wing Catapult into [VW-Tiger Catapult - 6/2000/2100: This card can only be Special Summoned from your Fusion Deck by removing from play the above cards on your side of the field. (You do not use Polymerization). By discarding 1 card from your hand, change the Battle Position of 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. (Flip Effects are not activated at this time.)]. Suddenly, the moon is covered by the clouds again.

Manjyome activates the special effect of VW-Tiger Catapult that he can discard a card, X-Head Cannon, on his hand into the cemetery to change the position of a Cloudian - Sheep Cloud into attack position. He next plays the spell card [Premature Burial ~ Hayasugita Maisou - Equipment Spell: Pay 800 Life Points. Select 1 monster from your Graveyard. Special Summon it on the field in face-up Attack Position, and equip it with this card. When this card is destroyed, destroy the equipped monster]. He has to pay 800 LP to play this card, so his LP does down to 3200 (4000-800). This card allows him to special summon a monster from the graveyard. Thus, Manjyome returns [X-Head Cannon - 4/1800/1500] onto the field in attack position.

Repeatedly, because X-Head Cannon satisfies the requirements of Y-Dragon Head and Z-Metal Tank, by the effect of Different Dimension Hanga, Manjyome can special summon [Y-Dragon Head - 4/1500/1600: Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this card on the field, you can equip it to your X-Head Cannon as an Equip Card, OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, increase the ATK/DEF of the equipped monster by 400 points. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster is destroyed as a result of battle, destroy this card instead.)] and [Z-Metal Tank - 4/1500/1300] removed from the game back to the field in attack position.

Three X-Head Cannon, Y-Dragon Head, and Z-Metal Tank are together on the field, fusing into [XYZ-Dragon Cannon - 8/2800/2500: This card can only be Special Summoned from your Fusion Deck by removing from play the above cards on your side of the field. (You do not use Polymerization). Discard 1 card from your hand to destroy 1 card on your opponent's side of the field].
