At
Duel Academy, students have waited for Tag Duel (punishment
duel) of Judai and Sho. In order to reserve Duel Academy only
for elites, Professor Chronos is glad to elimiate any drop-out
student. He hopes that Judai will be kicked out by this duel.
Then, Manjyome comes to talk to Professor Chronos and says
that he would like to duel against Judai in this Tag Duel.
He is certain that he can do it this time. However, Professor
Chronos tells him that it isn't necessary. He has already
prepared great duelists for this Tag Duel. Also, he suggests
Manjyome be worried about his own status. Perhaps, Manjyome
may fall down to Ra Yellow by this level. Thus, Manjyome is
getting mad.
At Osiris Red dorm, Judai and Sho are checking their decks
before Tag Duel. Judai looks excited as usual while Sho still
looks worried. Hayato can see how much Judai enjoys the duel.
Although Judai knows that he will be expelled if he is defeated
in this game, he doesn't look worried at all. Looking at Power
Bond, Sho thinks of his previous duel between Judai and his
brother, Ryo. Now, Sho looks confident and different. He is
also sure that he can do well in this duel. As a duelist,
a younger brother, and for his Big Brother (Judai) who chose
him as a partnet, Sho intends not to make this duel disgraceful.
Then Sho stands up and tells Judai that both of them will
absolutely win. Judai strongly agrees with him. After that,
Sho and Judai prepare for leaving for the duel. Hayato is
going to cheer them from audience seats. He believes that
both Judai and Sho will come back to this room. Judai gives
him his words that he will definitely return. Then both Sho
and Judai leave the room for their battle.
At
the duel stage, many students are sitting around and waiting
for the duel. Asuka comes in and sits near Misawa. Misawa
remembers this lady from Obelisk Blue, Tenjoin Asuka. Asuka
can notice that Misawa is getting concerned about Judai, so
is she. Because of Asuka, this duel happens; Judai and the
others went into the forbidden dorm to help her search for
information about Asuka's brother. In fact, she would like
to join this duel but she can't. On the other side, Manjyome
is sitting alone. Seeing Judai coming in, Manjyome is getting
mad and hitting a seat by his foot. Judai and Sho are getting
amazed by large audiences. They have to duel under this condition.
Anyway, Judai isn't worried at all, and he looks happy as
usual. When Judai and Sho go up to the battle stage, Hayato
has just arrived in time. Meanwhile, Ryo is watching this
duel from audience stage. He hopes to see Sho's real power
as a true duelist in this duel. That is also what Sho would
like to show his brother.
Professor
Chronos finally announces Tag Duel officially. The principle
Sameshima understands that their opponents may be teachers
from Obelisk Blue, or Professor Chronos may run this duel
by himself. However, Professor Chronos has already prepared
specially legendary duelists for this game. Suddenly, [Labyrinth
Brothers - Meikyuu Kyodai] jump out and introduce
themselves. They are gonna be Judai's and Sho's opponents
in this Tag Duel. While Sho is getting amazed, Professor
explains that they are the legendary duelists who have fought
against the duel king, Mutou Yugi. Asuka has heard before
about brother duelists who had such powerful combination
threatening the duel king. Misawa is now getting worried.
If they really become Judai's and Sho's opponents, Judai
and Sho may not win this game. Perhaps, only Manjyome is
glad to see that Judai is going to be defeated in front
of the large audiences. Even the principle Sameshima agrees
with Professor Chronos's plan and accepts these opponents.
Because he sees Judai getting interested and excited by
the great opponents, he would like to let this duel run
normally. Of course, Judai feels very excited since he is
going to duel against the opponents who have dueled against
the duel king before. Then Professor Chronos explains briefly
about the rules of this duel. This is a Tag Duel or Tag
Team. Each partner can't discuss or talk to each other.
Each field affects both partners in a team; two people play
on the same field. Furthermore, each team has 8000 LP calculated
by a team not a person. After that, the Tag Duel between
Labyrinth Brothers and Judai&Sho begins.
Judai looks at Sho to let him start the duel. First turn
comes to Sho. Drawing a card, Sho summons [Gyroid
3/1000/1000] in an attack mode and ends his turn. Next,
Para [Labyrinth Brothers: one's name is Para and another's is
Dox] draws a card and summons [Landmine
Spider - Chirai Kumo 4/2200] in an attack mode, ending
his turn. The third turn comes to Judai. Drawing a card, he
summons [E-Hero Burst Lady 3/1200/800]
in a defense mode and ends his turn. The last turn of the
first round comes to Dox. He draws a card and summons [Kaiser
Sea Horse 4/1700/1650] in an attack position. Sho thinks
that people can't attack in the first round, so the game will
start in the next round. Anyway, Dox hasn't finished his turn
yet. He plays a magic card [Tribute Doll
- Ikenie Ningyoo]. By its effect, sacrificing a monster
on the field, the player can summon specially a monster with
level 7 from his hand. As a result, Dox selects to sacrifice
Landmine Spider, the monster of Para, to summon [Kazejin
- Fuumashin 7/2400/2200] in an attack mode. At this
point, both Misawa and Asuka admire this great cooporation:
sacrificing a partner's monster to summon a greater monster.
Dox feels sorry for that he sacrificed his brother's monster.
However, Para doesn't feel worried at all. After that, Dox
keeps on his turn, playing another magic card [A
Shadow Designation Person - Yami No Shimeisha ]. By
its effect, in case a card that the player designates is in
the deck of the opponent, the opponent can add that card into
his hand. In this point, Dox chooses to select a card of his
partner, Para. The card that he calls from Para's deck is
[Sanga of The Thunder - Raimashin Sanga
7/2600/2200]. Para his deck, so he can take it onto
his hand. After that Labyrinth Brothers declare together that
they are going to teach Sho and Judai the Tag Duel play.

The
Tag Duel has been continued. Sho is getting worried by the
great monsters summoned by Labyrinth Brothers only in a turn.
Anyway, Judai still looks excited and enjoys the duel. Although
he accepts real strength of the legendary duelists, Labyrinth
Brothers, he doesn't think that his team will be defeated.
At this point, Sho looks different; he isn't scared at all.
He intends to try his best for Judai who believes in him and
for his brother, Ryo, who is looking at his duel now.
Turn comes to Sho in the second round. Drawing
a card, Sho summons [Steamroid 4/1800]
in an attack mode. Then, he plays a magic card [Polymerization
- Yuukou] from his hand to fuse Gyroid with Steamroid
on the field into [Steam Gyroid 4/2200].
Because Dox sacrificed Para's monster in the previous turn,
Para has no wall monster left on his own field. As a result,
Sho declares the attack of Steam Gyroid directly to Para.
People are all amazed by Sho's play; Professor Chronos and
Manjyome have realized that Sho is doing some mistake. Suddenly,
Dox activates the special ability of Kazejin; the attack of
an opponent's monster attacking this monster is reduced to
0. Therefore, the attack of Steam Gyroid becomes invalid.
Meanwhile, Professor Chronos is looking down drop-out Sho
and his play. Seeing Sho looking pity, Judai tries to cheer
him up; he tells Sho that the duel has just started. Taking
back his fighting spirit, Sho sets up a reversed card and
ends his turn.

Gate Guardian
Monster Card
|
Next turn moves to Para. Drawing a card, he
plays a magic card [Monster Reborn -
Shisha Sosei] to regenerate Landmine Spider from his
graveyard. After that, he plays his own Tribute Doll. Again,
Para can offer his monster as a tribute to summon specially
a monster with 7 level from his hand. Certainly, he selects
to sacrifice Landmine Spider to summon [Suijin-Suimajin
7/2500/2400] in an attack mode. Continuously, Para
this time plays his brother's monster. He sacrifices Kaiser
Sea Horse of Dox and activate its special effect; if this
monster is sacrificed to summon a light-type monster, this
monster is counted as two sacrificed monsters. In other words,
Para can summon a great light-type monster requiring two sacrificed
monsters by sacrificing only one Kaiser Sea Horse. Therefore,
he sacrifices Kaiser Sea Horse to summon [Sanga
of The Thunder - Raimashin Sanga 7/2600/2200] from
his hand in an attack position. Meanwhile, Misawa is getting
amazed by this awful combo. Anyway, Asuka tells him that the
combo hasn't been complete yet. Seeing, Suijin, Kazejin, and
Sanga of the Thunder, Sho starts getting scared. Dox says
that he is going to show a great monster now. At this moment,
Principle Sameshima is so excited that he can't stand sitting.
Thus, he moves down near Professor Chronos to look at the
duel closer until Professor Chronos tells him to go back to
his seat. Back to the duel. When Sanga of Thunder, Kazejin,
and Suijin are together on the field, Para sacrifices all
of them to summon specially [Gate Guardian
11/3750/3400] in an attack mode. Para declares the
attack of Gate Guardian against Steam Gyroid (2200) of Sho
at once. When Steam Gyroid, LP of Sho's team goes down to
6450 (8000+2200-3750). Thus, Sho is getting worried again
when his great monster was finally destroyed. Professor Chronos
seems very pleased with the consequence of the Tag Duel. In
this duel, a weak member becomes a weak point of the team.
Although Judai can remains, LP of the team can be still decreased.
While Sho is getting worried, Judai is getting excited again.
He has never seen this great monster that fought against the
duel king (Mutou Yugi). On the other side, setting a care,
Para ends his turn.

E-Hero Rampart Gunner
Monster Card
|
Come to Judai's turn. He draws a card and gets
Polymerization. On his hand, there are now E-Hero Sparkman,
E-Hero Clayman, E-Hero Featherman, Spark Gun, and Skycraper.
He decides to summon [E-Hero Clayman
4/800/1200] in an attack position. After that, he plays
[Polymerization - Yuukou] to
fuse E-Hero Burst Lady on the field with E-Hero Clayman into
[E-Hero Rampart Gunner 5/2000/2500].
Anyway, Sho sees that E-Hero Rampart Gunner hasn't obtained
enough attack points to be against Gate Guardian. Judai suddenly
activates the special effect of Rampart Gunner at once. It
can deal damage equal to a half of its attack points directly
to the opponent. As a result, Labyrinth Brothers receive 1000
damage points (2000/2) and their team LP goes down to 7000
(8000-1000). After that, Judai ends his turn. Sho is very
impressed by Judai's play. Also, he is comparing it to his
previous play.

Judgement of Anubis
Trap Card
|
The last turn of the second round comes to
Dox. Drawing a card, he plays an equipment magic card [Fairy
Meteor Crush - Meteor Strike] with Gate Guardian.
By its effect, when a monster equipped with this card attacks
a monster with lower defense attack points than the receiving
attack points, the damage differences will deal directly
to the opponent. However, Sho won't let him do that easily.
He suddenly opens his reversed magic card [Mystical
Space Typhoon ~ Cyclone] to destroy a magic or trap
card on the field. Of course, Sho is going to destroy the
effect of Fairy Meteor Crush. Meanwhile, Para opens his
reversed trap card [Judgement of Anubis
- Anubis No Sabaki]. Discarding a card into the cemetery,
Para can negate the effect of a magic card. Also, he can
destroy a face-up monster on the opponent's side of the
field and deal damage to the opponent equal to the attack
points of the destroyed monster. Therefore, the effect of
Mystical Space Typhoon becomes invalid. E-Hero Rampart Gunner (2000) is
also destroyed, so LP of Judai's team goes down to 4450
(6450-2000). After that, Dox summons normally [Defense
Wall 4/?/2100] in a defense mode. As long as this
card remains on the field in a defense position, all of
the opponent's monsters must first attack it. Then, Dox
ends his turn. Misawa sees how Labyrinth Brothers set up their
combo; They set up Gate Guardian in an attack mode and Defense
Wall in a defense mode.
Come
to the third round. At this moment, Sho starts his turn with
scare. He seemingly loses his confidence. Drawing a card,
he summons [Cycroid 3/1000] in
a defense mode and ends his turn very fast. In fact, he is
saying sorry to Judai for that he can't do anything better.
Next move comes to Para. He draws a card and declares the
attack of Gate Guardian against Cycroid immediately. When
Gate Guardian destroyes Cycroid, the special effect of Fairy
Meteor Crush is activated. The differences from the battle
deal directly to Sho's team. That means LP of his team goes
down to 1700 (4450+1000-3750). Now, Judai and Sho have nothing
left on their field. On the other side, Labyrinth Brothers claim
that there is no enemy who can face against them...
