episode 6 summarized by Janime |
The duel between Titan and Judai is continued. Judai has
remained 2000 LP while Titan has remained full 4000 LP.
In the previous turn, Titan could destroy all of Judai's
monsters on the field. Due to shadow power of the millennium
puzzle, Judai's body starts disappearing again following
his losing LP. Thus, Judai is getting much exhausted.
|
Mirage of
Nightmare
Magic Card |
Turn is still with Judai. He activates a magic card [Mirage
of Nightmare - Akuma No Shinkiro], setting additional
two reversed cards and ending his turn. Come to Titan's
move. When time enters Titan's standby phase, Judai activates
the effect of Mirage of Nightmare. By its effect, Judai
can draw cards from his deck until he has 4 cards on hand
in the opponent's standby phase. After that, Titan declares
the attack of Terrorking Archfiend (2000) against Judai directly.
At this moment, Judai opens his reversed trap card [Holy
Barrier Mirror Force - Seinaru Barrier Mirror Force].
This trap affects every monster on Titan's field, so the
special effect of Terrorking Archfiend, roulette dice, is
invalid; Terrorking Archfiend isn't a direct target.
| Genocide
King Demon (4/2000/1500) |
| |
 |
If there are no Monster cards on your Field with
[Demon] in their names,
you can't Normal Summon or Reverse Summon this card.
This card's controller pays 800 Life Points during
each of his or her Standby Phases. If this card is
targeted with a card effect controlled by your opponent,
roll 1 six-sided die. If the roll is a 2 or 5, that
effect is negated and destroyed. The effects of Effect
Monsters destroyed by this one as a result of Battle
are negated. |
|
Desrook Archfiend
Monster Card |
In addition, by the effect of Holy Barrier Mirror Force,
Terrorking Archfiend and Infernalqueen Archfiend are all
destroyed. However, Titan hasn't been worried at all, claiming
that his victory remains the same. Next, he plays the special
effect of his monster [Desrook Archfiend
~ Death Rook Demon 3/1100/1800]. As a result of its
effect, when Terrorking Archfiend is destroyed and put into
the cemetery, Titan can put Desrook Archfiend into his cemetery
to regenerate Terrorking Archfiend onto the field. In other
words, putting Desrook Archfiend into his graveyard, Titan
resummons Genocide King Demon onto the field in an attack
mode. Meanwhile, Tian activates the effect of his field
magic card, Pandemonium , that allows him to take a Demon-type
monster from his deck into his hand.
| Pandemonium |
| |
|
 |
Life Payments during the Standby Phase for Monsters
with [Demon] in their
names don't have to be paid. If a Monster card with
[Demon] in its name is
destroyed other than as a result of Battle and goes
to the Cemetery, you can choose 1 Monster card with
[Demon] in its name with
a level less than that card from your deck and put
it into your hand. |
Then, Titan declares the attack of Terrorking Archfiend
(2000) direcly to Judai, who has no wall monster left. At
this point, Hayato is worried whether Judai (2000) will
end up by this attack. Suddenly, Judai opens another reversed
magic card [Emergency Provisions -
Hijyoo Shoku]. By its effect, Judai can recover his
LP by 1000 points for each trap or magic card sent into
the cemetery. Sending his magic card, Mirage of Nightmare,
into his graveyard, Judai's LP goes up to 3000 (2000+1000).
Therefore, when he gets the direct attack of Genocide King
Demon, his LP goes down to 1000 (3000-2000); Judai hasn't
been defeated yet. Hayato is amazed by Judai's struggling.
Also, Judai has just realized and accepted the real strenght
of Titan. According to rule of the shadow game, some parts
of Judai's body must be disappeared. Thus, Titan takes out
his millennium puzzle and activates its power against Judai
again. Now, Judai's right hand has been disappeared.
Turn is returned to Judai. Drawing a card, he plays a magic
card [Return of Warrior - Senshi No
Seika] that allows him to place a Warrior-type monster
from his cemetery onto his hand. Therefore, he takes E-Hero
Featherman from his graveyard into his hand. After that,
he fuses E-Hero Featherman and Burst Lady from his hand
to summon [E-Hero Flame Wingman 8/2100/1800].
Judai declares the attack of E-Hero Flame Wingman against
Terrorking Archfiend at once. When Terrorking Archfiend is
destroyed, Titan's LP decreases to 3900 (4000+2000-2100).
As a result of the special effect of E-Hero Flame Wingman,
it can deal direct damage to Titan equal to the attack points
of Terrorking Archfiend. This means Titan has to receives
the total 2000 attack points of Terrorking Archfiend. Thus,
his LP more goes down to 1900 (3900-2000). Because this
is the shadow game, some parts of Titan's body, right arm
and left leg, are disappeared.
Again, Titan still has some Demon-type cards on his hand.
Thus, he discards Desrook Archfiend from his hand into his
graveyard to regenerate Terrorking Archfiend from the cemetery
onto the field. Of course, Judai is getting very annoyed.
No matter how much he has tried to destroy Genocide King
Demon, it could still be regenerated. Anyway, his turn hasn't
finished yet. He summons normally [Dark
Catapulter 4/1000/1500] into a defense mode, ending
his turn.
|
Swift Lightning
Demon Skull
Monster Card |
Come to Titan's turn. He declares confidently that he will
let Judai see a hell in this turn. Drawing a card, Titan
sacrifices Terrorking Archfiend to summon [Swift
Lightning Demon King - Jinrai No Maou Skull Demon 6/2500/1200].
Continuously, he declares the attack of Swift Lightning
Demon King against E-Hero Flame Wingman at once. Therefore,
when E-Hero Flame Wingman is gone, Judai's LP decreases
to 600 (1000+2100-2500). Again, Titan activates the shadow
power of the millennium puzzle, so some parts of Judai's
body are more disappeared. At this moment, Judai starts
fainting and can not stand straight. Although his friends
try to call him, he is still losing his consciousness. Finally,
Judai falls on his knees and his consciousness is gone.
Then, his deck begins to glow.
Inside
darkness, Judai hears the voice of Hane Kuriboh. A small
light comes out from his deck, flying around and lighting
the duel field. The light recovers Judai from fainting.
As Judai gains his consciousness back, noticing that both
his and Titan's bodies haven't been disappeared. However,
when Judai opens his eyes and returns to the normal field,
he doesn't understand when he sees that some parts of his
and Titan's bodies are still missing. Thus, he asks Hayato
to confirm whether their missing parts of the bodies are
on the opposite site of each other. When Hayato agrees to
it, Judai has seemingly realized everything.
Understanding the trick that Titan has used, Judai draws
a card and continues his turn. Meanwhile, Titan is surprised
by that Judai can still go on the duel. Judai activates
the special ability of Dark Catapulter. Removing E-Hero
Featherman from the game, he can destroy a magic or trap
card on the field. Certainly,
Judai decides to destroy Titan's field magic card, Pandemonium .
When Pandemonium is destroyed, the field returns to the
normal ground. After that, Titan tries to activate the power
of this millennium puzzle again. Suddenly, Judai throws
his E-Hero Featherman, which was removed from the game,
toward the activated millennium puzzle. The card pierces
into the millennium puzzle. When the millennium cracks,
Judai's and Titan's bodies return normal.
Sho and Hayato don't understand what is going on, so Judai
explains the entire truth. Titan is, in fact, a liar and
a cheater. That he can use the shadow power and that their
bodies were disappeared weren't real. Perhaps, Titan may
use some tricks to create many fake things, and the trick
, perhaps, relates to the roulette trick. Titan tries to
argue that he is the real player of the shadow game; thus,
Judai would like to test him by asking how many millennium
items there are. Seemingly, Titan can give the correct answer
of 7 items, yet he still misses. Titan accidently says that
he holds one of the seven millennium puzzles. At this point,
Judai can catch him that Titan is, in fact, the cheater.
Although there are seven millennium items, not every item
is the millennium puzzle. Judai had seen them by his own
eyes through the images on the wall previously. In other
words, each millennium item is different, so that Titan
said "the seven millennium puzzles" shows that
Titan doesn't know exactly about the fact of the seven millennium
items. When
everything has been revealed, this game means nothing anymore.
Thus, Titan thinks to run away while Judai tries to catch
him up. There is no doubt for Judai that the millennium
puzzle is fake, so Judai starts running after Titan. Suddenly,
there is a lot of light shining from surrounding statues
toward the middle of the duel field. When the light is combined
together, there appears a big light sign of millennium eye
[The Wedjet Eye of Ra] on the
ground. Both Judai and Tian are very amazed by what is going
to happen.
Sho |
Big
Brother's body has totally been recovered. |
Judai |
As
I have thought, this guy is a cheater using the fake
shadow game. He might use some trick/magic to confuse
us. That we saw the body disappearing wasn't exactly
true. Thus, we could see agony. Perhaps, it was because
of some mechanism about the roulette. |
| Titan |
What
a measure! I am exactly the shadow game.... |
Judai |
So,
you should know this exactly, right. How many millennium
items are there? |
| Titan |
The
number of the millennium items!? |
Judai |
Why
don't you try to answer? |
| Titan |
That
is..seven. |
Judai |
He.... |
| Titan |
Seven! |
Hayato |
He
got it right. |
| Titan |
Hi
hi hi...well...you should have already understood
by now. I am the real user of the shadow game. I am
also the only one in this world who holds one of the
seven millennium puzzles. |
Judai |
Hi...I
am sorry to you. Although there are, in fact, the
seven millennium items, not every item is the millennium
puzzle. You dug a grave for yourself. You are actually
a cheater who confuses people. |
| Titan |
My
start doesn't seem effective. Also, to continue dueling
against you seems to mean nothing. |
Judai |
As I have thought, it is the fake
millennium puzzle. Wait! |

Titan
and Judai are pulled into a shadow realm. Judai thinks that
Titan is playing some trick again, yet Titan refuses and
claims that he hasn't done anything. A large number of scary
small monsters come closer, trying to attack them. Then
these monsters try to consume Titan's body while Titan is
frightened and asks for help. As Judai is surprised, he
is getting attacked by the monsters, too. Suddenly, Hane
Kuriboh comes out from Judai's duel disk and defends him.
Judai has just realized that these monsters are afraid of
Hane Kuriboh that also previously saved him from the fake
shadow game of Titan. However, Titan has already been consumed
by the dark monsters. His personality was then totally changed.
As Judai is worried about him, Titan says that the real
shadow game is going to start from now on. Judai is wondering
whether Titan, who was previously trying to run away, is
still playing the fake shadow game agian. Nevertheless,
Titan tells him that after the shadow game is activated,
nobody can run away and until it is finished. Then Titan's
Swift Lightning Demon Skull, and Judai's Dark Catapulter
reappear on their sides of the fields. Anyway, Judai is
worried by going on the duel at all, claiming that this
turn is still his. He plays a magic card [Monster Reincarnation - Shisha Tensei]. It allows Judai to discard
a card from his hand into the graveyard and to take back
a monster from his cemetery onto his hand. Thus, Judai selects
to take back [E-Hero Sparkman 4/1600/1400]
from his graveyard and summons it in a defense mode. After
that, he ends his turn.
When time goes to Titan's standby phase, Judai
claims that without the ability of Pandemonium , Titan has
to pay his LP to remain his Demon monster. Therefore, Titan
pays 500 LP for the tribute, and his LP goes down to 1400
(1900-500). Then Titan declares the attack of Swift Lightning
Demon Skull against Dark Catapulter. Setting a reversed
card and summoning [Desrook Archfiend
~ Death Rook Demon 3/1100/1800] in an attack position,
Titan ends his turn.
Time is back to Judai. Hane Kuribou turns
to look at Judai, so Judai tells it not to be worried. No
matter what, he will win this game. Drawing a card, Judai
starts considering the situation carefully. He has only
600 LP left. If Titan attacks in the next turn, Judai will
be defeated definitely. Then he changes the position of
E-Hero Sparkman into an attack position. Next, he plays
an equipment magic card [Spark Gun]
and equips it with Sparkman. By its effect, Judai can change
the mode of 1 a monster on the field. This effect can be
used more than once; however, if used 3 times, this card
is destroyed. Titan understands that Judai is going to play
this effect against Swift Lightning Demon Skull to change
it into a defense mode with 1200 defense points. As a result,
he prepares to play the special ability of Swift Lightning
Demon Skull; if it becomes a target, a dice can be rolled
to negate the effect.
| Skull Archfiend of Lightning 6/2500/1200 |
| |
|
 |
This card's controller pays 500 Life
Points during each of his or her Standby Phases. If
this card is targeted with a card effect controlled
by your opponent, roll 1 six sided die. If the roll
is a 1, 3 or 5, that effect is negated and destroyed. |
Nevertheless, Judai says that his target isn't
Swift Lightning Demon Skull. He then declares the normal
attack of Sparkman (1600) against Desrook Archfiend (1100).
Therefore, Titan's LP goes down to 900 (1400+1100-1600).
After that, he activates the effect of Spark Gun to change
his own monster, Sparkman, into a defense mode again. Titan
has just realized that Judai was trying to defend himself.
Once time goes into Judai's end phase, Titan's face-down
permanent trap card [Battle Scarred
- Chi No Kokuin] is activated.
Next,
time enters Titan's standby phase. Titan once activates
the ability of Battle Scarred. Selecting a Demon-Type monster
on the field, Titan can make Judai pay his LP equal to the
amount that Titan has to pay for his Demon monster. In other
words, Titan has to pay 500 LP to remain his Swift Lightning
Demon Skull, so does Judai. Therefore, Titan's LP goes down
to 400 (900-500) while Judai's LP goes down to 100 (600-500).
Seeing fewer LP of Judai, surrounding scary monsters are
trying to keep on their attack against him. However, Hane
Kuriboh still blocks them for Judai. Judai tells Hane Kuriboh
not to be worried again. He hasn't given up yet. After that,
Titan declares the attack of Swift Lightning Demon Skull
to destroy Sparkman. Continuously, Titan sets up another
reversed card, playing a magic card [Double
Magic]. By its effect, Titan can discard a magic
card from his hand into the cemetery and plays a magic card
from Judai's cemetery. Thus, Titan decides to select Emergency
Provisions from Judai's graveyard. By its effect, Titan
can gain 1000 per magic card discarded into the graveyard.
As a result, Titan sacrificed the face-down magic card on
field to recover his LP; his LP now goes up to 1400 (400+1000).
At this moment, Titan says that Judai has no card left on
his hand. If Judai is attacked by Swift Lightning Demon
Skull, his LP will decrease to 0, Judai has to sacrifice
his soul as a loser.
|
E-Hero Bubbleman
Monster Card |
Judai understands the situation very well,
so he has to bet by his last draw. Turn is back to Judai.
He draws the final card and gets [E-Hero
Bubbleman 4/800/1200]. By its effect, it can be summoned
specially onto the field in an attack mode if it is the
only card on his hand. Also, when it is summoned and becomes
the only card on the field, Judai can draw additional 2
cards. Accordingly, summoning E-Hero Bubbleman specially
and drawing two cards, Judai plays a magic card [Bubble
Shuffle]. By its effect, Judai can change the position
of E-Hero Bubbleman and a monster on Titan's field. Then,
sacrificing Bubbleman, Judai can summon a E-Hero monster
from his hand. Anyway, when Swift Lightning Demon Skull
becomes a target, Titan activates its special effect. The
roulette dice is rolled. If the result is 1, 3, or 5, any
effect against Swift Lightning Demon Skull is invalid. Meanwhile,
Judai is getting worried about his fate. The propability
is 50% (chance to get 2, 4, or 6). Then, Judai gets it.
The result of the roll is 2, so the effect of Bubble Shuffle
is valid. Certainly, Titan is getting surprised. Bubbleman
and Swift Lightning Demon Skull turn into the defense position
with equal 1200 defense points. According to another ability
of Bubble Shuffle, Judai sacrifices E-Hero Bubbleman to
summon [E-Hero Edgeman 7/2600/1400].
By the special effect of E-Hero Edgeman, when it attacks
a monster in a defense position with lower defense points,
it can deal damage equal to the difference directly to the
player. Thus, when E-Herp Edgeman destroys defending Swift
Lightning Demon Skull, the difference of 1400 (2600-1200)
deals directly to Titan; Titan's LP decreases to 0 (1400-1400).
When
Titan is defeated, his body is swallowed by the surrounding
monsters. At this moment, Titan has just gained his own
consciousness, and realized the real existence of the shadow
game. While Judai is getting amazed, Hane Kuriboh shows
him the way out from the shadow realm. Hayato and Sho are
glad to see that Judai is safe. Meanwhile, Hayato suddenly
feels that he can hear the voice of Hane Kuriboh. While
he is getting amazed by the voice, the shadow realm starts
disappearing. Judai tries to hold the casket of Asuka so
that Asuka won't be absorbed into to the shadow realm. Then
everything is absorbed into the dark hole of the shadow
realm. Judai understands that everything was the miracle
trick of Titan, getting very impressed. Hayato is still
wondered by the duel monster voice that he just heard. Sho
asks Judai what was happenning to him. Judai doesn't understand
either. He thinks that Titan has already returned after
he was defeated.
Asuka
wakes up and finds herself safely with Judai and the others
outside the dorm. Judai tells her not to be worried at all,
returning Akuka her card and the picture of her brother.
Judai says sorry to Asuka since he could find only one thing
relating to her brother. Asuka is amazed by that Judai,
in fact, observed the dorm to find some clues about her
brother. Then the sun rises. Judai, Hayato, and Sho say
good bye to Asuka and hurry to return to their dorm. Asuka
just appreciates Judai's act and looks at her brother's
memorable picture
to be continued...
