A group of people with serveral armies are leading to the Duel Academy. Their resonsibility is to protect a bag of rare cards to the destination.

At Osiris Red, Judai is sleeping while Sho is praying to Osiris image and Raise Death [Monster Reborn - Shisa Sousei] (I think that Sho is praying for his chance to revive from pity life or death in Osiris Red to better place in Ra Yellow). Today is an important date of a promotion test. People in the same dorm have to duel against one another. If Sho wins today, he will be promoted to Ra Yellow dorm. Thus, Sho is very excited, and he can't sleep at all. Suddenly, an alarm rings. Sho is frightenned while Judai is still sleeping. Although today is the exam date, Judai can sleep happily. Sho tries to wake up Judai because they are going to be late for the test. However, Judai doesn't get up and is still in his dream of a duel. He calls out "Time Draw!" , knocks Sho out, and then keeps on sleeping. Sho tries to tell him that it is, instead, "Time End". If Judai doesn't get up, he will be late for the test. Anyway, Hayato thinks that Sho is so kind. Also, Sho had better leave Judai like that. In the today test, people in the same dorm have to duel against one another to get the promotion. Thus, everybody is an enemy as long as he is in the same dorm. If Judai doesn't get up, Sho can get some advantage. However, Sho doesn't want to do that to Judai, his respectful Big Brother, and tries to wake him up. Seeing that Judai won't get up at all, Sho runs out toward the exam site alone. He has just realized that here is the battlefield of duelists. If everybody can pass, he can do so. He is becoming a hard boy duelist.

After that, Judai runs very quickly toward the exam site because he has already been late. During this way, he sees an old lady trying to push her truck up to the hill. Although Judai knows that he is in a hurry, Judai can't leave the lady like that. Thus, he decides to help her push the truck. The old lady understands that Judai is going to have the important exam today, so she tries to tell Judai to go. Nevertheless, Judai is concerned by that the lady is much more in trouble, so he would like to help her here. The lady knows that she has no choice but accepts Judai's help. Then both of them are together pushing the heavy truck up along the hill.

At the exam room, students are taking a test while Daitokuchi teacher is an instructor of the test. Sho is sleeping and dreaming of that he feels sorry to Judai. Then Judai comes in class and tells him that he won't forgive Sho, so Sho gets up. Because people are during the exam, Manjyome tells Osiris Red Judai to shup up. He also tells Judai agressively to leave the room if he doesn't want to take the test. Meanwhile, Daitokuchi teacher tells Judai to come down and take a test paper. There is no much time left for him. While Judai is going to take his test, Asuka is wondering why Judai doesn't look serious at all and came late by 30 mins. Even Daichi is also suspecting Judai's real power because Judai doesn't seem serious. Other students don't understand either why such a guy like Judai could defeat Professor Chronos. While people are uncertain about Judai's real ability, Judai and Sho are still sleeping during the test. At the same time, Professor Chonos is sneaking into the exam room, looking at Judai. In fact, he has already prepared some fun for the next test of him.

The group of people bring the new rare cards have finally reached the school. When Daitokuchi teacher announces the ending time of the exam, most of the students move quickly to the school card store to get the new rare cards that have just arrived. While Manjyome is still checking his test paper in the exam, his friends tell him to move out at once. On the other side, Daichi is trying to wake up Judai and Sho who has been sleeping. Getting up, Sho and Judai are wondering where all people are gone. Thus, Daichi tells them the people are leaving to get new coming rare cards. He also explains that people would like to get good cards for the duel test in the afternoon. Sho is wondering whether Daichi isn't in a hurry to get new cards, too. For Daichi, his deck has already been ready, and any new cards aren't necessary for him. However, for Sho and Judai, they would like to obtain new cards, running actively toward the card store.

The students try to call out someone open the card store to get the newly rare cards. Suddenly, a group of securities moves in and lines up. An officer walks in with the newly rare cards in his bag. All students are glad and excited to get them. Nevertheless, when the officer goes into the card store and then the store is openned, the students see nothing in the bag. Thus, they question what this means. A female seller explains that a mysterious student, standing beside her, has already purchased all of them. The other students seem not to accept this unfairness and try to complain.

After that, Judai and Sho have reached the store, seeing nobody. They are very worried whether all new cards are gone. Judai moves in to ask a lady at the store about the rare cards. The lady shows Judai the last pack of the rare cards because all of them have already been purchased by the mysterious student. Seeing the last pack, Judai decides to let Sho get it. Sho is wondering whether Judai is serious because all people are all enemies against one another in the next exam test. While Judai doesn't understand what Sho meaned by the enemies, the old lady whom Judai helped her this morning comes out. She is, in fact, a staff named [Tome] at this store. Also, she welcomes Judai as a special customer to the store and gives him a special gift, a pack of rare cards.

Judai

Hurry! Hurry!

Sho

Wait for me!

Judai

What does this mean?

Sho

There is nobody.

Sho, Judai

Have they all been sold out?

Judai

Aunt-Chan! Aunt-Chan! Ah...sister-san, how about new cards?

Seller

A study already bought a large number of them. There is only this left.

Sho, Judai

Only one pack?

Sho

What should we do, Big Brother? After our writing tests are bad, if we can at least reinforce our decks in the next duel exam...

Judai

That's okey. Buy it, Sho.

Sho

Are you going to give it to me? This is the final last pack.

Judai

That is okey.

Sho

But Big Brother, today is an important date for the test. Even I am an enemy.

Judai

Enemy, what do you mean?

Sho

That is...

Judai

Anyway, we still have some time before the duel exam. Let's hurry to arrange the deck.

Sho

Big Brother

Tome

Wait!

Judai

Ah! The Aunt-Chan from this morning!

Tome

Not Aunt-Chan! Call me Tome...To-Me

Judai

Tome-San is a staff of this store, isn't she!?

Sho

Do you know her, Big Brother?

Judai

Ah, just little...

Tome

Anyway, I welcome you over here. Hi Hi Hi, I have something good for you, Customer-San.

Manjyome and his friends are getting mad againt the guy who bought the whole cards. Manjyome's friends are also worried about the afternoon test. However, Manjyome seems not to be much worried because there is nobody in Obelisk Blue who can defeat him. Suddenly, the mysterious student, who bought all cards, appears, asking what Manjyome is going to do if his opponent is Yuki Judai. He also asks whether Manjyome is certain that his deck is strong enough to defeat Judai. Turning up, Manjyome and his friends see the mysterious guy showing the rare cards totally bought previously. People are wondering who the mysterious guy is and what he is planning. Then the mysterious guy takes out his cloth and appears as Professor Chronos. However, he is getting annoyed by when Manjyome calls him Professor Chronos whom Judai defeated. Anyway, Professor Chronos tells him that he plans to let Manjyome duel against the drop-out boy Judai, yet Manjyome thinks that only people in the same dorm are going to duel against one another. This isn't a problem at all. Professor Chronos will arrange a special duel of two persons from the different dorms and give newly rare cards to Manjyome. He hopes that he will have fun when Manjyome will be able to defeat Judai.

At the duel exam, while the other students are facing against one another from the same dorm, Judai is wondering whey he is facing against Manjyome from Obelisk Blue. Walking closer, Professor Chronos explains that Judai's record is different from the other students from Osiris Red. This is a good chance for him. If Judai can defeat Manjyome, he will be promoted to Ra Yellow at once. Sho thinks that his Big Brother is really great. Daicahi is also concerned about this duel because Judai is going to stay with him in the same dorm if he can beat Manjyome. For Judai, he absolutely accepts this challenge. In fact, he prefers and loves any kind of duel. On the the other side, Manjyome is glad to continue and finish the duel against Judai. Judai calls Manjyome prepare himself for this duel while Manjyome is getting mad because he would like Judai to call him "Manjyome-San" (In Japanese, San comes after a person's name when a speaker would like to give some respect to whom he calls. At this point, Manjyome would like Judai to call himself with San to show that he is still greater). Then the duel between both of them in the test begins.

First turn comes to Judai. He draws a card and gets his partner, Hane Kuribou. Summonning [E-Hero Clayman 4/800/2000] in a defense position, Judai ends his turn.

episode 4 translated by Janime

VW-Tiger Catapult
Monster Card

Manjyome isn't seemingly worried about weak monsters (He calls it Sako-small fish, trash that is Kaiba's favourite word) of Elemental Hero deck at all. He feels very confident by rare cards given from Professor Chronos. Drawing a card, he plays a magic card [Mallet of Luck-Uchide No Kotojyo]. By its effect, Manjyome can return this card and any number of cards from his hand into his deck. Then he can draw new cards equal to the same number returned. In other words, Manjyome places Mallet of Luck with his four cards on hand, 5 cards in total, back into his deck, shuffles his deck, and draws additional 5 cards following the condition. He gets Mallet of Luck and playes it again by the same effect to draw new cards. However, this time, he chooses to return Mallet of Luck and another card to his deck. Thus, he can draw additional two cards. After that, he summons [V-Tiger Jet 4/1600/1800] in an attack mode. Then he plays a permanent magic card [Frontline Base - Senseki Bochi]. This card can be played only once in a turn, allowing Manjyome to summon specially a monster with level 4 or lower from his hand. Therefore, he summons [W-Wing Catapult 4/1300/1500] specially in an attack mode. When V-Tiger Jet and W-Wing Catapult are together on the field, Manjyome fuses them into [VW- Tiger Catapult 6/2000/1500]. Anyway, He hasn't finished his time yet, activating a special ability of VW-Tiger Catapult. Discarding a card on hand into the cemetery, Manjyome can change a position of the opponent's monster into an attack position. Thus, E-Hero Clayman is forced to change into an attack mode with 800 attack points. Manjyome declares the attack of VW-Tiger Catapult against E-Hero Clayman at once. As a result, when E-Hero Clayman is destroyed, Judai's LP goes down to 2800 (4000+800-2000). Setting a reversed card, Manjyome ends his turn.

Come to Judai's time. He thinks that the duel has just started. Drawing a card, he summons [E-Hero Sparkman 4/1600/1400] in a defense position. He sets another reversed card and then ends his turn. Asuka thinks that this isn't entire power that Judai has. He must be holding something else.

VtoZ Dragon Catapult Cannon
Monster Card

Time is back to Manjyome. Drawing a card, he normally summons [X-Head Cannon 4/1800/1500] in an attack mode. Continuously, by the effect of the permanent magic card, Frontline Base, [Z-Metal Tank/Capterpillar 4/1500/1300] can be summoned specially from his hand. After that, Manjyome plays another continuous trap card [Call of the Haunted - Living Dead No Yobi Koe] that allows him to summon a monster from his graveyard onto an attack position. Absolutely, he regenerates his final piece [Y-Dragon Head 4/1500/1600] onto the field. When three XYZ monsters are together on the field, Manjyome fuses them into [XZY Dragon Cannon - 8/2800/2500]. Daichi sees that there are two monsters with 2000 and higher attack points on the field. Thus, Judai may not have a chance to win. However, Manjyome claims that he hasn't finished yet. He fuses VW-Tiger Catapult and XYA Dragon Cannon into [VWXZY (V to Z) Dragon Catapult Cannon - 8/3000/2800]. By its special effect, it can remove a card from the opponent's side of the field from the game during his turn. As a result, E-Hero Sparkman is removed from the game, and Judai has no wall monster left at all. While Manjyome is declaring his attack, Judai activates his reversed trap card [A Hero Emerges - Hero Kensan]. This card can be activated only if the opponent declares the attack. It allows Manjyome to select a card on Judai's hand. If the selected card is a monster card, Judai can summon it specially onto his side of the field. However, if it isn't, Judai has to place it into his cemetery. Thus, Judai calls only "Manjyome" and lets him select one card from his hands. Manjyome is getting annoyed again because he, in fact, prefers "Manjyome-San" from Judai's mouth. Manjyome chooses the first card of his right side on Judai's hand. Luckily, it is a monster card [E-Hero Burst Lady - 3/1200/800], so Judai summons it in a defense mode. Anyway, it means nothing to Manjyome's great monster. Manjyome repeats the attack of VWXZY Dragon Catapult Cannon, Ultimate Destruction, at once. By another special effect of VWXZY Dragon Catapult Cannon, it can switch the attacked monster into an attack mode. That means E-Hero Burst Lady is changed into an attack position with 1200 attack points. When E-Hero Burst Lady is destroyed, Judai's LP goes down to 1000 (2800+1200-3000).

Hane Kuribou LV10
Monster Card

While Manjyome thinks that Judai has come far enough, Judai hasn't given up yet. He believes in his monsters figthing with him. No matter what, he claims that he will continue dueling until the end. Drawing a card, he gets a magic card that he previous got from Tome-San at the school card store. Meanwhile, Judai hears voice of Hane Kuribou, wondering whether his partner is feeling something. Then he summons [Hane Kuribou 1/300/200] in a defense mode. Most of ladies on stage are excited by the cute appearance of Hane Kuribou. Setting a reversed card, Judai ends his time. At this moment, Sho is getting worried because Judai can merely defense himself. However, Asuka feels something from Hane Kuribou.

Wing of Revolution
Magic Card

Time is returned to Manjyome. Drawing a card, Manjyome claims that whatever Judai has planned is useless. By the special effect of VWXZY Dragon Catapult Cannon, Hane Kuribou will be removed from the game. Nevertheless, Judai challenges Manjyome to attack. Certainly, Manjyome declares the attack, Ultimate Destruction, and the special of VWXZY Dragon Catapult Cannon against Hane Kuribou. Suddenly, Judai discards two cards from his hand into the cemetery to activate his reversed magic card [Wing of Revolution - Shinkasuru Tsubasa]. By its effect, Hane Kuribou can evolve upto level 10. Also, by the special effect of [Hane Kuribou Level 10], it can be sacrificed to destroy all of the opponent's monsters, and then the total attack points of the destroyed monsters deal directly to Manjyome. Therefore, the attack Ultimate Destruction of VWXZY Dragon Catapult Cannon (3000) is returned to itself. When VWXZY Dragon Catapult Cannon is destroyed, Manjyome's LP goes down significantly to 3000 (4000-3000). Manjyome can do nothing else, ending his turn.

Before entering his turn, Judai claims that his and Manjyome's LP are now 1000 equal. Next will be the key time whether Judai can draw and summon a monster with 1000 higher attack points. Judai is certainly getting excited by this feeling. Drawing a card, he summons [E-Hero Featherman 3/1000/1000] in an attack mode. Judai lets it attack Manjyome directly, so Manjyome's LP goes down to exact 0 (1000-1000) and he is finally defeated. People are very surprised by the victory of Judai. Professor Chronos is getting shocked; even Manjyome got his rare cards, he couldn't defeat Judai. Principle Sameshima admired Judai who did well as he could defeat Professor Chronos. Sho and Daichi then come down to congratulate Judai. Then Professor Sameshima announces through speakers, giving his words to Judai. He admires Judai's great duel and performance. Also, he has already seen duel spirit of Judai that wouldn't give up until the end, warm feeling and friendship toward his monsters, and the strength of his deck. Thus, as planned before, Principle Sameshima announces officially to promote Judai to Ra Yellow. All people on the stage are glad with Judai. Sho is crying and congratulating his great Big Brother. Then Daichi shakes his hand with Judai, welcoming him officially to Ra Yellow. While Judai is happy with his great accomplishment, Sho is feeling differently. He may seem lonely if he has to separate from Judai. However, this is such a great chance for him, so Sho tries to be happy with him.

Sho

You did it! You did it! Big Brother!

P.Chronos

Despite the fact the he played those rare cards, he was still defeated...

Sameshima

He did greatly as he defeated you, Professor Chronos.

P.Chronos

Excuse me...

Judai

I won. What a nice duel!

Manjyome

Judai...

Sho

Ouuu! Big Brother!

Sameshima

You have already let me see, Yuki Judai. Valueable property in your deck, warm frienship among your monsters, duel spirit that won't give up and leave hope of the victory until the end.....we seem to see all those things here. Well, as planned, Yuki-Kun, you get promoted to Ra Yellow.

People

Congratulation! You did it, Judai.

Sho

How great! You are really great, Big Brother!

Daichi

Yuki Judai! Congratulation and welcome to Ra Yellow!

Judai

Ah!

Sho

Then, Big Brother will become a Ra Yellow student. If I have to separate from Big Brother, I may feel lonely. But I should think that this is good for him, shouldn't I? Congratulation, Big Brother, Congratulation!

At night at Osiris Red, Sho is staying with Hayato, thinking of Judai who has already become a Ra Yellow student. Suddenly, Judai enters the room and greets Sho. Sho is getting surprised why Judai returns to Osiris Red. Judai has already made a decision that he more loves environment in Osiris Red, so he is still a student here. Sho is very glad to see Judai again, jumping over and cring with.
