I "DO NOT" play Yugioh, since I got asked that alot. I'm going into my 2nd year of Business Administration at the University of Guelph in Canada. I'm pretty social (now), try to go out alot, and just have plain fun. If you ever hear the word "chach", I made it in Guelph ^ ^.

My job is pretty simple. I update the site card lists and the main site once a week, after an episode has aired. I edit the character's deck lists with new cards (thanks to Horoko's translations). I'm also a Card Coordinator, I update deck lists with the set and number of a card that was printed by Konami/UDE. I would also list the differences from the anime card to the actual Konami card.

I'm Tatsunoboshi Horoko. But people who know me just call me Horoko. I am known to many on the forum as "the information man" on all things dealing with the original Japanese version of YGO. Whether it be translations, chapter and episode titles/numbers, you name it and I probably do know it (although I will occassionally slip up by not cross-referencing materials, hey, I'm only human.) Every week, I do card translations for the latest episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX and post them on the forum. And basically, those are posted up on the site for everyone to reference to at a later date. My translation skills are very intermediate (to me at least.) I use my friends as my personal dictionary at times (even though I hate doing it) but there are just sometimes I just can't get a sentence, verb, noun, word right. I also draw, write, and (of course) watch/read YGO. I have almost all 38 Japanese tankoubon (graphic novels) including the Character Guide Book the "Shinri no Fukuin" (The Gospel of Truth, but is currently lost) and hope to complete my collection soon. I translate most of non-duel related conversations in GX(if Horoko or anyone else doesn't translate cards before me, then I put them up as well). My English isn't that fantastic and my Japanese skills aren't any better. People may wonder how do I translate all the stuff if I'm no good at Japanese. Simple, I get help from a Korean subber called Snoberry(I really appreciate his help) who happens to work as a clerk at Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise store. So the translating process is like this: torrent comes up -> Snoberry translates conversations into Korean -> I translate it into English. I actually started helping Janime out because I felt kind of guilty because I was watching subbed(Korean) versions of GX while everyone in forum was wondering about what was said and Horoko was too busy (it seemed) to fulfil everyone's translation requests quickly enough. I really enjoy my translating work, but since I'm a student who has to stay at school more than 13 hours a day, translating conversations is all I can do even though I want to help more.
