Although
Mizuchi's deck is called Mirror deck, it's
also based on [Shikigami]
monsters. [Shikigami]
can be directly translated into "Paper
God". There are some factors related
to this word that we can mostly notice.
- It deals with paper.
Thus, we can mostly see it summoned or created
by the paper. In GX anime, Shikigami monster
seems to have paper around itself as well.
- It serves or protects Onmyoji,
a typically popular sorcerer during Heian
period in Japan.
In Yu Gi Oh GX, Mizuchi seemingly obtains
the power of Onmjyoji to summon Shikigami
monsters. |
