EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 1

After being defeated by Crow, Yeager is taken to a dark room with light from a lamp. He is surrounded by Yusei, Jack, Crow, Aki, Lua, Luca, Bruno, and Sherry. Yusei asks Yeager to keep a promise by splitting everything he knows about Yliaster. Yeager smirks and looks reluctant. Sherry attacks him by a card, but Yeager can dodge it. She looks impatient and asks Yeager to answer what kind of relationship the Public Security Maintenance Bureau has with Yliaster. Yeager tries to calm himself down before deciding to tell the story.

Yeager starts his story that, at first, when he entered the Public Security Maintenance Bureau and became involved with Yliaster, everything started by a cup ramen. He is talking while holding a R-D-N- (Red Demon's Noodle) cup in his hand. Yusei wonders what Yeager means by that.

Yeager tells the story that his family ran a small circus tent. It's when he was a little boy. However, the audience barely visited, so food became shortage. Yeager is saying while peeling off a cup ramen. Jack interrupts him by hitting the table strongly and asks when Yeager got his spicy Red Demon's cup ramen. It's the last one, so Jack demands him to return it.

Yusei grasps Jack's shoulder and tells him to calm down. He asks him to let it go for valuable information. Jack looks hurt before telling Yeager to eat it. He turns himself away and tries not to pay attention to him. Yeager gets excited and starts to eat the cup ramen. He looks very happy as the cup ramen is very delicious. Jack convinces him that it is of course. He is now crying after losing his dear cup ramen, telling Yeager to continue the story.

Yeager continues the story that, during that time, he met a cup ramen placed on a table. He along with his sister and brother looked excited and asked his mum what it was. His mum said that it's for him as it was his birthday. She smiled and told him to eat it. Yeager was concerned how she could get this expensive thing before realizing that she sold her important stage dress for it. After knowing the truth, he cried and couldn't say anything. His brother and sister didn't seem to realize anything. They asked Big Brother Yeager whether they couldn't take it yet. Yeager was still crying. He spared the cup ramen to his siblings and everyone enjoyed it together.

To think about it now, Yeager is crying and saying that the cup ramen back then was very delicious. Although time has passed and ramen has got better, he was truly happy. Crow expresses his sympathy that a ghastly clown like Yeager also had a tough time. Even Jack is also with him. He cries like a baby and says that he truly understands him. During his childhood, he, Yusei, Crow, and other kids at Marsa's house had to share a cup ramen. He still hasn't forgotten that taste until now.

Jack piles up many boxes of cup ramen on the table. He would like Yeager to take them all for his family. The boxes are many packs of Red Demon's Noodle. Aki thinks Jack has just said that the cup ramen Yeager took was the last one, which isn't true entirely. Yeager's eyes turn big, and he gets excited by these rare products. He asks whether Jack is serious about giving him all these. Jack holds Yeager's hands, cries, and tells him that he doesn't mind at all. He convinces him that Jack Atlus won't take back his words.

Yusei tells Jack to hold on. Jack doubts whether Yusei wants to stop him. He doesn't expect Yusei to forget that taste already. Yusei says that he hasn't forgotten anything. He just wonders how this whole story is related to Yliaster. Lua and Luca agree. Lua clearly sees that there is no connection at all.

Sherry doesn't seem patient any longer. She cuts a pile of cup ramen's boxes as a warning to Yeager. Yeager is frightened and tells her not to be worried. He agrees to get to the main point from now on. He takes a chopstick, eats the cup ramen, and begins his story about his relation with Yliaster and the Public Security Maintenance Bureau.

While telling the story, Yeager is having the cup ramen. On the day he and his siblings had the first cup ramen, he swore to eat a cup ramen again someday. After that, Yeager left home and started his work at the Public Security Maintenance Bureau. He worked closely with the Director Goodwin and was finally promoted to a vice president. Then, he could give many (Red Demon's Noodle) cups of ramen to his wife, son, and parents.

Yeager finishes eating the cup ramen and ends by saying that it's the whole story related to the Public Security Maintenance Bureau and cup ramen. Sherry interrupts him and asks about Yliaster. She doesn't seem to have patience, grasps him up, and tells him angrily that she didn't wait to hear such a nonsense story. Yusei pads Sherry's shoulder and calls her to calm her down.

Bruno asks Yeager whether he tried to avoid involving with Yliaster. Yeager is afraid and honest to say that if he talks their names out loud, his family may be in danger. Crow doubts whether Yeager is sure about his decision. He thinks that if Yeager doesn't talk about Yliaster, he may rather be killed by Sherry now. Yeager looks at a serious face of Sherry and gets scared. He accepts that it may be true.

Yusei explains Yeager that this incident has caused a lot of damage to Neo Domino City. If they can throw those guys out of the town, people who eat a cup ramen will all have smiling faces. It's something that could be done. Yusei asks Yeager whether it doesn't sound like a good future. His words make Yeager think about several happy moments of his family when they enjoy a cup ramen. He thinks about his wife and son.

Earlier, his wife and son were taken to Marsa's home. Yeager bowed to Marsa as a thank for taking care of his family. Her home was truly a better and safer place than the drain hole. Yeager looked sad when he had to leave them along. Saiga was a driver, taking Yeager back to Yusei. Yeager made a decision back then that he came here to protect his family. He has understood everything by now before agreeing to split everything he knows.

Time has passed till dawn. Yeager finishes telling the story about Yliaster, the 3 new directors of the Public Security Maintenance Bureau, to everyone. He asks whether people still want to know anything else. People look disappointed. Bruno tells Yeager that Yusei's side seems to know more than him. Yeager looks surprised and asks what it's about. Crow explains that those people revealed themselves and expressed their goal to destroy the city. Back then, Jose and Luciano appeared in front of Yusei, Crow, and Jack, introducing themselves as the three emperors of Yliaster (episode 110). Jose expressed their goal to change the future.

Jack tells Yeager that Yliaster's goal is to change the future and eliminate Mormetn. Yusei adds that, for this purpose, they are trying to destroy Neo Domino City. Yeager looks very shocked by information he has never known. He doubts what a true identity of Yliaster is. Crow yells at Yeager as it's the question they are asking him now. Jack forces Yeager to talk more or he will take back all of the remaining cup ramen's boxes on the table. He starts to take back one by one, and Yeager pleads him to stop.

Yeager is afraid that he really has no further idea before remembering a phone call. Sherry asks what it is about. Yeager says that, on a day, he got a call from an outside company that appears to be an address of the 3 directors. Yusei asks about the name of the caller. Yeager believes that those details must be recorded in the Public Security Maintenance Bureau's database. Bruno asks where the database is. Yeager smiles and leads people to where they can access the database.

Everyone is leaded to a game store, Game Paradise, standing in front of a simulation riding machine. Jack wonders how the database can be at this place. Yeager chuckles as he is one of a few people who knows about this place. No matter Lua looks at the riding machine, it is just an ordinary game. The monitor displays the game as Accel Termina. Yeager smiles and he believes that nobody can expect here to be a terminal with an access to the database of the Public Security Maintenance Bureau. Even though someone is going to track him, he can still pull the data without worry.

Yeager jumps onto the riding machine and puts some codes into the computer. Crow is surprised it is hidden at this place for such a reason. Yeager laughs and explains that even though he slacks off the game, there is no problem as it's said to be a job. Lua is uncertain about that favorite, and Luca isn't sure either whether it's cool or not.

Yeager is now done with his input and presses a button to start the game. A villain appears on screen. Crow is very shocked by seeing a Cup Ramen Man, a character he used to dress up like (episode 114). Some data appear on screen. Yusei realizes that this is a checkmating duel (Tsume Duel - a quiz duel in which a player must end the game under certain conditions). Yeager explains that, instead of a password, it is a checkmating riding duel. He starts the game to show how it works.

Yeager (LP 1000) - 4 SPCs
On Hand: Jester Cofi, Speed Spell - Speed Energy
Thunder Break
(Set Up)
Jester Lord
(1/0 ATK)

Cup - Bankiyan
(5/1600 ATK)

Cup Ramen Man (LP 1800) - 4 SPCs

Problem: Defeat Cup Ramen Man in 1 turn

Cup - Bankiyan
Effect Monster Card

In the game, Yeager is a challenger and Cup Ramen Man is an opponent. There will be 2 problems for 3 credits or 3 chances. If they fail for 3 times, PC will lock them out. For the first quiz, Yeager has 1000 LP and 4 SPCs. His opponent has 1800 LP and the same 4 SPCs. On the opponent's field, there is [Cup - Bankiyan - 5/1600/1600: When this card is destroyed, destroy your opponent's entire hand] in attack position. Yeager has Jester Lord with 0 ATK and 1 set-up trap card on his field. He also has 2 cards, Jester Cofi and Speed Spell - Speed Energy, on his hand.

Jester Lord has a monster effect that it can gain 1000 ATK for each spell/trap card on either field. Thus, Yeager sets up [Speed Spell - Speed Energy ~ Sp (Speed Spell) - Speed Energy - Normal Spell: Activate only while you have 2 or more Speed Counters. Increase the ATK of 1 monster you control by an amount equal to your Speed Counters x 200 until the End Phase] to the field. Next, he opens his face-down trap [Thunder Break - Normal Trap: Discard 1 card from your hand. Destroy 1 card on the field]. It allows him to discard Jester Cofi on his hand to destroy 1 card on the field.

Speed Spell - Speed Energy
Speed Spell Card
Thunder Break
Normal Trap Card

Yeager decides to apply this effect to destroy Cup - Bankiyan. Cup Ramen Man activates a monster effect of Cup - Bankiyan. When destroyed, it can destroy all cards on Yeager's hand. Because Yeager has no card left on his hand, the effect becomes invalid. There is now 1 set-up card, Speed Spell - Speed Energy, on the field, so Jester Lord's ATK becomes 1000 (1*1000).

Yeager moves to battle phase, declaring a direct attack of Jester Lord toward Cup Ramen Man. This strike makes Cup Ramen Man's LP drop to 800 (1800-1000). Cup Ramen Man feels sorry to Yeager as he still has 800 LP left. In a checkmating riding duel, a player needs to end the game in a turn. Yeager gets surprised. Cup Ramen Man attacks him and makes him crashed. The game is over as Yeager can't knock out the problem in a turn.

Jack yells at him and asks what Yeager is doing. Crow isn't satisfied as Yeager lost to the problem he made. Yeager gives an excuse that it's always left to his subordinates. Yusei is afraid that this guy's standing must be different, and this riding duel may need a unique strategy only for a riding duel. His words make Aki come up with an idea. Crow knows that it can't be helped before offering himself to go next.

Aki interrupts him and offers herself to go. She explains that she has done enough riding duel to go for this. She would like to be a part of everyone. Yusei and Crow look at her and smile. Crow agrees to let her go and counts her on this job. Aki steps on the riding machine and looks very confident. Luca and Lua cheer Aki to do her best. Aki thinks about Yusei's words on a strategy for a riding duel. It's a hint to use an effect of Speed World 2. In that case, there is only a way to do so.

EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 2

The second credit starts by Aki. The condition is exactly the same as what Yeager earlier played. Aki begins her game differently by activating an effect of Speed World 2. By reducing her SPCs from 4 to 0, she can inflict 800 damage to the opponent. Thus, Cup Ramen Man's LP decreases to 1000 (1800-800). Crow gets excited as Cup Ramen Man now has only 1000 LP, which means Aki can resume Yeager's play.

Aki sets up Speed Spell - Speed Energy and activates Thunder Break to discard Jester Cofi on hand and destroy Cup - Bankiyan. Cup Ramen Man activates the monster effect of Cup - Bankiyan. When destroyed, it can destroy all cards on opponent's hand. Because Aki has no card left on his hand, the effect becomes invalid. There is now 1 set-up card, Speed Spell - Speed Energy, on the field, so Jester Lord's ATK becomes 1000 (1*1000). Aki declares a direct attack. Cup Ramen Man is finally defeated as his LP drops to 0 (1000-1000). The game is over by Aki's victory.

Luca and Lua get excited to her win. Yeager has just realized that if he had activated Speed World 2's effect, he would have been able to write off opponent's LP additionally by 800. That's the only difference between his and Aki's plays. Jack tells him not to talk. Crow says that this is what a riding duel is. Yusei gives Aki a compliment that she has improved. Sherry tells everyone that it's too early to delight. Only one problem is solved, and there is still another.

Jack understands that if this problem is solved, they will be able to break the password. He thus offers himself to go, tells people to leave this on him, and jumps onto the ride. The second quiz then starts. Jack has 300 LP and 10 SPCs. Cup Ramen Man has 4000 LP and 10 SPCs. He also has 3 monsters on the field. Jack has Jester Lord and Jester Queen, which can attack once for every Spell and Trap Card he controls if it is the only monster on the field. There are 2 cards set up: Speed Spell - The End of Storm and Begone, and 4 cards on hand: Discord, Court Custom, Speed Spell - High Speed Crash, and Speed Spell - Speed Energy.

Crow is concerned whether Jack will be fine. When [Cup - Menrado - 3/600/600: When this card is destroyed by battle, destroy all Monsters your opponent controls] is destroyed, it destroys all monsters on the opponent's field. When [Cup - Donuno - 4/1400/1400: When this card is destroyed, destroy all cards in your opponent's Spell & Trap Card Zone] is destroyed, it destroys all spell/trap cards on the opponent's field. Along with Cup - Bankiyan's effect, there seems to be a trouble. Jack says that those small things are not a problem at all. He now has 10 SPCs and can't waste it. He will also show overwhelming power of Jack Atlus.

Cup Ramen Man (LP 4000) - 10 SPCs

Problem: Defeat Cup Ramen Man in 1 turn

Jack starts by activating an effect of Speed World 2. By reducing 4 SPCs, he inflicts 800 damage points to the opponent for each speed spell card on hand. There are 2 speed spell cards on hand, so 1600 (800*2) is inflicted to Cup Ramen Man. Cup Ramen Man's LP drops to 2400 (4000-1600). Now, Jack has 6 SPCs (10-4) left, so he repeats the same play to inflict another 1600 damage to Cup Ramen Man. Cup Ramen Man's LP drops to 800 (2400-1600). Jack now has only 2 SPCs left (6-4).

Yusei is stunned by 3200 damage (800*4) inflicted in an instance. Crow thinks that it's normal for Jack who always goes by overwhelming power. Jack hasn't done yet. He activates [Speed Spell - Speed Energy ~ Sp (Speed Spell) - Speed Energy - Normal Spell: Activate only while you have 2 or more Speed Counters. Increase the ATK of 1 monster you control by an amount equal to your Speed Counters x 200 until the End Phase] from his hand, which requires 2 SPCs to be activated. Jack has exact 2 SPCs to satisfy the condition. It can increase ATK of his monster by 200 for each speed counter until the end phase. With a bonus of 400 (200*2), Jester Queen's ATK goes up to 1200 (800+400).

Speed Spell - High Speed Crash
Speed Spell Card

Next, Jack sets up Discord and Court Custom before activating the last card on his hand, [Speed Spell - High Speed Crash ~ Sp (Speed Spell) - High Speed Crash - Normal Spell: Activate when you have 2 or more Speed Counters. Destroy 1 card you control and 1 other card on the field], which requires 2 SPCs to be activated. Jack has exact 2 SPCs to satisfy the condition. Its effect can destroy 1 card he controls to destroy 1 card on the field. Jack decides to destroy Jester Lord and Cup - Bankiyan. Cup Ramen Man activates a monster effect of Cup - Bankiyan. When destroyed, it can destroy all cards on Jack's hand.

Jack is afraid that he has no card left on hand. He activates a monster effect of Jester Queen. It can attack up to 4 times for 4 cards set up on Jack's field. Jack moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Jester Queen toward Cup - Menrado. Yusei quickly interrupts and tells Jack to hold on. Jack asks Yusei what's up. Yusei is about to warn him about Cup - Menrado, but he is too late. Jack has already pressed a button to initiate a strike.

Jester Queen successfully destroys Cup - Menrado, making Cup Ramen Man's LP drop to 200 (800+600-1200). Cup Ramen Man activates a monster effect of Cup - Menrado. When destroyed, it can destroy all monsters on the opponent's field. Jack has a surprising face on screen as he isn't aware of this effect. Jester Queen is thus destroyed and can't continue the remaining 3 attacks. Jack is no monster left on the field and couldn't defeat Cup Ramen Man, so he's finally rejected.

Cup Ramen Man strikes into his eyes. Jack's character flies off the D-Wheel and crashes. The game is over by his failure to solve the problem. Crow says that Jack is stupid. He explains that although Jack had 4 strikes of Jester Queen with 1200 ATK, it still couldn't beat Cup - Donuno with 1400 ATK. Jack argues that he just wanted to try his hands as he could write off his opponent's LP down to 200. Crow tells him that it has no meaning if they can't write off Cup Ramen Man's entire LP to 0. Yeager interferes both and asks them to calm down. Jack and Crow yell at Yeager, asking him whose fault he thinks it is. Yeager looks afraid and can't argue them back.

Sherry tells people that they have only 1 credit left. Jack feels that his type doesn't suit this virtual battle at all. Yusei thinks that Jack's play doubling effects of Speed World 2 isn't wrong. From that point, he can see a way to break through it. Jack asks what he means. Yusei explains that a real problem is about timing. People still look confused. Yusei takes a seat and tells everyone to watch him play. He restarts by the last credit. It's the same quiz that Jack earlier played.

Like Jack, Yusei begins by activating an effect of Speed World 2. Jack gets excited as Yusei will be able to inflict another 1600 damage by repeating the same play. Lua sees that it's just the same as the earlier play.

Yusei agrees that most people would go by maximum damage at this aspect. However, he wants to play differently by activating [Speed Spell - Speed Energy ~ Sp (Speed Spell) - Speed Energy - Normal Spell: Activate only while you have 2 or more Speed Counters. Increase the ATK of 1 monster you control by an amount equal to your Speed Counters x 200 until the End Phase] from his hand, which requires 2 SPCs to be activated. He has enough 6 SPCs to satisfy the condition. It can increase ATK of his monster by 200 for each speed counter until the end phase. With a bonus of 1200 (200*6), Jester Queen's ATK goes up to 2000 (800+1200).

Yusei next activates an effect of Speed World 2, reducing 4 SPCs to inflict 800 damage to the opponent. Cup Ramen Man's LP drops to 1600 (2400-800). Yusei now has only 2 SPCs left (6-4). Jack doesn't understand Yusei's play by avoiding 3200 damage. Aki and Crow smile. They know that although Yusei could inflict only 800 damage in the second hit, he could increase Jester Queen's ATK.

Yusei resumes his play by activating [Speed Spell - High Speed Crash ~ Sp (Speed Spell) - High Speed Crash - Normal Spell: Activate when you have 2 or more Speed Counters. Destroy 1 card you control and 1 other card on the field], which requires 2 SPCs to be activated. he has exact 2 SPCs to satisfy the condition. Yusei decides to destroy Jester Lord and Cup - Donuno. Cup Ramen Man activates a monster effect of Cup - Donuno. When destroyed, it can destroy all spell/trap on the opponent's field. Thus, Yusei's set-up cards, Speed Spell - The End of Storm and Begone, are destroyed.

Aki doesn't understand why Yusei selected Cup - Donuno. Luca seems to agree. Without set-up cards, Jester Queen's effect can't be activated. Bruno seems to understand what Yusei is aiming. Yusei still has some cards to set up. He sets up Discord and Court Custom at this timing. By 2 set-up cards, Jester Queen can attack twice. Yusei doesn't need many attacks and only 2 are enough.

Yusei moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Jester Queen to destroy Cup - Bankiyan. Cup Ramen Man's LP drops to 1200 (1600+1600-2000). Cup Ramen Man activates a monster effect of Cup - Bankiyan at this moment. When destroyed, it can destroy all cards on the opponent's hand. Yusei doesn't have any card left on hand anyway. He declares the second attack of Jester Queen to destroy Cup - Menrado. This strike successfully writes off Cup Ramen Man's LP to 0 (1200+600-2000). Cup Raman Man is now finished off, flying away, and crashing. The game is over by Yusei's win.

Everyone is glad to Yusei as he could make it as expected. Yusei tells his friends that he couldn't break it alone. It's due to Jack's and Aki's help as well. Yeager asks Yusei as he thinks that Yusei didn't mention his name. Sherry places her hand on Yeager's shoulder to bring his attention back to his job of pulling data. Yeager thus walks into the machine, keys something on the computer, and places an enter button. Something then moves on screen. It seems to be a logo.

Yeager tells everyone that it is a logo of the company in the telephone which the 3 directors are from. Everyone looks very surprised by seeing this logo that belongs to [Mormetn Express Development Organization]. This is the company behind Yliaster.
