EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 1

Earlier, Jack saved Nicolas from a crash. He declared that Jack Atlus wouldn't be defeated by power of darkness. MC announced an official victory of 5D'S Team that would move to the final round (It's truly final 16). Nicolas looked confused and asked why Jack saved him. Jack told him that it should be clear. He pointed his finger to Nicolas' face and said that Nicolas had no value to die. A duel was a crash among souls. The one like Nicolas who didn't believe in his cards but used a card of Darkness didn't deserve to duel. Nicolas was stunned after being lectured by Jack. He looked upset but didn't say anything.

Sherry watching over the duel from had already found a clue in a card of darkness. It was an important source of information linking to Yliaster. On the other side, Placido was executing another plan. Several entrances of a building were opened, and many riding roids commonly called Ghosts were entering highways. Placido called them [Diablo]. He gave them an order to entrap the city with chaos.

At Memorial Circuit, Jack leaves Nicolas alone after talking to him. Sherry jumps into the field and runs into Nicolas. She catches his cloth and asks forcefully where Nicolas got his card from. Sherry doesn't have patience to hear his answer and quickly takes his deck. She looks at the card of darkness, Doom's Ray, that Nicolas used in the game. The picture and texts on the card slowly vanish in front of her eyes, stunning her very much.

At the same time, Zora is standing at a light and waiting to go across a street. When the pedestrian light turns green, she steps into the road. Suddenly, a riding roid makes a loud accelerating noise. Zora is frightened when she sees a bike running quickly toward her. She moves away from it, but her body spins many times. Zora gets mad and yells at the wheeler. She says that the light is now red for vehicles. Many riding roids then appear, ride pass her, and make a lot of smoke. Zora collapses to the road and looks dizzy, but she is still safe.

The riding roids break an entrance into a duel driveway. People in a sky train spot them and wonder what they are. The riding roids split themselves into different groups and go into different riding routes. On a duel driveway, another duel of the preliminary round is running. A wheeler from Lightning Team is dueling another wheeler from White Tiger Team. They have 2900 LP and 2500 LP respectively.

Note: "White Tiger Team" is called "Byakko Team." "Byakko" is a Chinese constellation symbol in a shape of a white tiger.

The fans of both teams are cheering them from the audience stages. While the riding duel is running, a group of riding roids is approaching into the duel field. The crowd is confused by what these black D-Wheels are. Some doubts whether it is some kind of demonstration. It anyway doesn't seem possible as it is currently in the mid of a duel.

4 riding roids are chasing after the White Tiger wheeler. As he is looking confused by what these wheelers are, he is surrounded by them. He asks what they are doing. A riding roid just asks whether he doesn't want to duel him. The White Tiger wheeler looks stunned and doesn't give an answer. The computer on his screen then changes by itself to "Battle Royale" mode. The White Tiger wheeler is very surprised as he has never heard of Battle Royale mode. A riding roid declares a duel with the White Tiger wheeler without listening to his answer. 2 light spheres suddenly glow beneath their D-Wheels and vanish. The White Tiger wheeler is now forced into a riding duel with the 4 riding roids blocking all of his ways.

1st Turn - 1st Ghost

The first Ghost on the right side of the White Tiger wheeler draws a card and summons [Ally of Justice Blind Sucker ~ A・O・J (Ally of Justice) Blind Sucker - 4/1600/1200: The effects of LIGHT monsters that battle this card are negated] to the field in attack position. Setting 2 face-down cards, he ends his turn.

2nd Turn - 2nd Diablo

The second Ghost on the left side of the White Tiger wheeler draws a card and summons [Ally of Justice Garadholg ~ A・O・J (Ally of Justice) Garadholg - 4/1600/400: If this card battles a LIGHT monster, it gains 200 ATK during the Damage Step only] to the field in attack position.

Release & Rebirth
Normal Trap Card

At this moment, the first Ghost opens his face-down trap card [Release & Rebirth - Normal Trap Card: Tribute 1 monster you control. You receive damage equal to the tributed monster's ATK. Then, that tributed monster is Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field. (Your opponent selects the Battle Position)]. According to its effect, he can release a card on the field to receive damage equal to that monster's ATK. He thus releases Ally of Justice Blind Sucker on the field. His LP drops to 2400 (4000-1600).

In addition, Release & Rebirth allows him to special summon the released monster to the opponent's field. Ghost thus special summons Ally of Justice Blind Sucker to his teammate's field where Ally of Justice Garadholg is on. His purpose is to give his monster to his friend for a strike. The second Ghost declares a direct attack of Ally of Justice Blind Sucker and Ally of Justice Garadholg toward the White Tiger wheeler.

There is no way the White Tiger wheeler will let them succeed easily. He opens his face-down trap card [Negate Attack ~ Kougeki No Muryoku Ka - Counter Trap: When your opponent attacks with a monster, negate the attack and make your opponent's Battle Phase end] to stop the attack of both Ally Justice monsters and end the battle phase.

The first Ghost tells him that it is useless before opening his last face-down trap card [Solemn Judgment ~ Kami No Senkoku - Counter Trap: Pay half of your Life Points. Negate the activation of a Spell Card / Trap Card / Normal Summon / Flip Summon / Special Summon and destroy the Spell Card, Trap Card, or Summoned monster] to negate the activation of Negate Attack by paying a half of his LP. His LP drops to 1200 (2400/2).

The White Tiger wheeler no longer has protection. Ally of Justice Blind Sucker and Ally of Justice Garadholg strike him and make his LP drop to 0 (2500-1600-1600) immediately. The White Tiger wheeler screams before crashing. His D-Wheel explodes. The third Ghost on the back row speeds up and chases after the next opponent, the Lightning wheeler. He calls for his turn and draw a card. The Lightning wheeler looks very scared and screams. The duel ends by his crash and explosion like the White Tiger wheeler.

Duel End

Placido is watching over an outcome of the Diablo from the roof of a building. Smoke flies from many crashes on the duel driveways above the sea.

"The WRGP preliminary matches have been changed to Battle Royale Mode by now. We have to risk our lives in a duel. Come on, D-Wheelers! If you want to survive, you have to paint the circuit desperately." Placido says.

Note: It has been mentioned since the beginning of Season II that Yliaster was planning to complete a kind of a circuit. It hasn't been described clearly on anime yet what this circuit is or what it can do. However, we know only that the circuit can move and will be complete by a level of duel. The more intensive a duel is, the more complete the circuit is. Through Season II, Yliaster tries to cause a chaos to complete the circuit by releasing Ghosts to make an accident on highways. Anyway, the plan is always stopped by Yusei and his friends. Placido doesn't want to wait and would like to complete the circuit quicker by his own way, so he releases the Diablo or the riding roids and forces the D-Wheelers in the preliminary rounds of the WRGP to duel. He believes that desparate struggle of D-Wheelers will enhance a level of a riding duel and make the circuit complete faster.

Back to Memorial Circuit, MC is announcing a breaking news that there are many accidents occurring on the highways. The picture on telescreens shows a lot of smoke flying off many accident spots. MC asks the audience to stay calmly in the stadium. The crowd begins to doubt what it means by having them stay. Yusei is more concerned by what is going.

Outside the stadium, Mikage and Ushio are trying to figure out what's going with many accidents. Ushio gets a line in his car, tries to contact the main controller room at the Public Security Maintenance Bureau, and asks what's happening. Meanwhile, Jack, Yusei, and Bruno are running into Ushio as they expect Ushio to know something about the accidents. An officer at the controller room responds to him that they haven't been able to figure out the cause of the accidents yet. They know only that the riding duel system on highways is rewritten to Battle Royale mode. Ushio looks surprised.

The officer tells him to hold on as he is receiving a new identification signal. He looks very surprised by seeing a large number of signals. Yusei asks them to check the location of the identification signal. Ushio opens the signal on screen in his car, and it's a picture of Ghost. Yusei and Jack look very surprised by seeing that Ghosts are behind the accidents.

Sherry and Mizoguchi appear and join the group. Seeing Sherry, Ushio smiles and looks shy. He sees that Sherry is very cute. Mikage doesn't seem satisfied, so she stomps on Ushio's feet by her high heel. Ushio jumps and cries in pain. Yusei tells Sherry that Ghosts are appearing now. Sherry has already known it as it was announced in the stadium. Seeing that Ghosts are attacking the others, Jack wonders whether they truly are not Ghosts' target.

Bruno sees that a large group of Ghosts look different now. It is clear to him that they would like to take down this tournament (rather than to taken down the Signers). If that's the case, Yusei suggests people stand up against Ghosts who play a duel of darkness. Mizoguchi asks how they should do to defeat a large number of Ghosts. Yusei believes that Ghosts must be controlled by someone. They should spread out and look for the main leader. Sherry agrees to lend them her hands.

Kazama tells people that he will also go with them. Jack looks surprised by seeing Kazama standing by on his security wheel. Kazama smiles and tells Jack not to get in his way this time. Jack smiles back and tells him that those should be his lines. Ushio tells people to be careful because the highway system has already been changed to Battle Royale mode. Bruno is afraid that it may be still too reckless. The party with higher numbers seems clear to win in this battle. Yusei clarifies that, in a riding duel against Ghosts, real damage is inflicted to a player. Thus, if they duel unskillfully, they will be largely hurt.

Jack feels that it's still fun anyway. To think that he can be violent without holding back, the blood of his old time is going to boil. Yusei holds his fist and tells everyone to take off. They can't let these people take away peace of Neo Domino City that they brought back. Yusei starts his D-Wheel's engine and takes off along with Jack. Bruno is riding a small bike, going after them and asking them to wait for him.

Due to a march of Ghosts, the circuit lines up more and forms into a nearly-complete infinity shape. Jose is observing what's happening to the circuit on his throne. Luciano appears on his throne and says that the circuit is getting drawn quite well. It seems to be a bother to them that they can't make the circuit complete without forcing D-Wheels to run or even crash. Jose says that, to make this circuit complete, they need the power of Mormetn or the power of D-Wheels. Fortunately, humans in this world haven't realized true power of Mormetn yet. When this circuit is complete, the sanctuary of god will appear.

Luciano comments that this circuit is as big as Neo Domino City. When this castle appears, the city will be destroyed. Jose tells him that it is a small sacrifice. To save the future, they have no other choice. Then, the picture of Ghosts marching on highways is displayed on telescreens. Jose sees it and wonders what this is about. Luciano laughs and says that these are Diablo (Other people call them Ghost), and there are many of them. Jose knows that they are riding roids Placido made. Luciano explains that Placido just couldn't stay still and is gone through this big thing, laughing out loud. Jose looks unsatisfied by that Placido is doing this by his lone decision.

On a highway, a White Wind wheeler is being attacked by Ghost. Ghost tells her to die before declaring a direct attack of Ally of Justice Blind Sucker. Yusei suddenly appears and interrupts the strike by [Quick-Attack Scarecrow ~ 1/0/0: You can discard this card from your hand when your opponent's monster declares a direct attack. Negate that attack and end the Battle Phase]. By sending this card from his hand to the graveyard, he can negate a direct attack and end the battle phase.

All Ghosts are very stunned. Yusei isn't alone. Riding along with him are Sherry and Mizoguchi. They make up a team, fighting 3 Ghosts attacking the White Wind wheeler who is getting confused by who they are. Yusei catches up with her and tells her to have them handle this duel. The White Wind wheeler agrees and moves away.

Yusei starts his turn by drawing a card and summoning [Junk Synchron - 3/1300/500: When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower monster in your Graveyard in face-up defense mode. Any effects of an Effect Monster Special Summoned by this effect are negated] to the field in attack position.

By the monster effect of Junk Synchron, Yusei special summons Quick-Attack Scarecrow with level 1 from the graveyard to the field in attack position. He also special summons [Mirror Ladybug - 1/100/100: When there are no monsters in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Special Summoned by this effect, this card's Level becomes equal to the Total Levels of monsters you control other than this card. When this card's Level is greater than 12, destroy this card] from hand to the field in attack position. This monster can be special summoned from hand when he has no monster in the graveyard. Also, when it is special summoned by this effect, its level becomes a combined level of all other monsters Yusei controls. Quick-Attack Scarecrow has level 1 while Junk Synchron has level 3, so Mirror Ladybug now has level 4 (1+3).

Note: Anime shows that both Quick-Attack Scarecrow and Mirror Ladybug are special summoned from graveyard and hand at the same time. However, in real interpretation, Quick-Attack Scarecrow needs to be special summoned first so that Yusei's graveyard is empty. Then, Mirror Ladybug can be special summoned from hand by its own effect.

Yusei tunes Junk Synchron into Quick-Attack Scarecrow and Mirror Ladybug. "Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro summon! Take flight, Stardust Dragon!," Yusei says and synchro summons [Stardust Dragon - 8/2500/2000: When the effect of an Spell, Trap, or Effect monster is activated, that includes "destroy card(s) on the field", by releasing this card , you can negate the activation and destroy that card. In the End-Phase of a turn you use this effect, if the card is in your graveyard, you can Special Summon it to the field] to the field in attack position.

Stardust Dragon

Yusei moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Stardust Dragon, "Shooting Sonic!," to destroy Ally of Justice Blind Sucker. Ghost who owns it loses all of his LPs from this strike. He finally crashes and explodes.

Note: Anime shows Ghost has 1900 LP and his LP drops to 0 by Yusei's attack of Stardust Dragon. It seems to be wrong. Ally of Justice Blind Sucker has 1600 ATK and Stardust Dragon has 2500 ATK. Although Ally of Justice Blind Sucker is destroyed, Ghost is supposed to have 1000 (1900+1600-2500) LP left not 0. Nothing else can increase the ATK of Stardust Dragon. We just note it as a discrepancy.

On another highway, the Diablo are attacking a wheeler by [Ally of Justice Clausolas ~ A・O・J (Ally of Justice) Clausolas - 6/2300/1200]. The wheeler screams in frightening. Jack suddenly yells from a far distant that he won't allow it to happen. He and Kazama jump down from a nearby highway and interfere the strike.

Kazama sends [Battle Eater - 10/2500/0: When you would receive Battle Damage less than this card's ATK, send this card from your hand to the Graveyard negate that attack and end the Battle Phase. Then, you receive damage equal to this card's ATK] on hand to the graveyard to activate its effect. It can negate the attack and end the battle phase, but he has to receive the damage equal to ATK of Battle Eater.

Ally of Justice Clausolas changes its target and strikes Kazama. His LP drops to 1500 (4000-2500). Jack warns Kazama that if he was reckless, he would be hurt. Kazama smiles and tells Jack that he is usually clumsy like this. Jack also smiles and says that if Kazama gets hurt again, his honor will be ruined. Thus, he will take care of this by his own.

Vice Berserker
Effect Monster Card

Jack calls for his turn, draws a card, and summons [Vice Berserker - 4/1000/1000: When this card is sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon, you receive 2000 Damage. During this turn, the Synchro Monster that used this card as a Synchro Material Monster gains 2000 ATK. That Synchro Monster cannot select an attack target except for an Attack Position monster] to the field in attack position. Jack activates a monster effect of a tuner monster [Trap Eater - 4/1900/1600: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or set. This card can only be Special Summoned by sending an opponent's face-up trap card to the Graveyard. When this card is destroyed and sent to Graveyard, destroy 1 card in magic and trap card zone] on his hand.

By having it eat [DNA Surgery ~ DNA Kaizoushujutsu - Continuous Trap: When you activate this card, declare 1 Type of monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all face-up monsters become the Type you declared] on Ghost's field, he can special summon Trap Eater from hand to the field in attack position.

Jack tunes Trap Eater into Vice Berserker. "The ruler's heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation-shaking power! Revive, Red Demon's Dragon!," he declares his Synchro Summon and again calls out [Red Demon's Dragon - 8/3000/2000: When this card attacks a Defense Position monster your opponent controls, after Damage Calculation, destroy all Defense Position monster your opponent controls. If this card is face-up during your End-Phase, destroy all monsters you control that didn't declare an attack this turn except this card] to the field in attack position.

Red Demon's Dragon

Jack activates a monster effect of Vice Berserker at this moment. When Vice Berserker is sent to the graveyard for a synchro summon, he has to receive 2000 damage points but his synchro monster that uses Vice Berserker for its synchro summon can gain 2000 ATK. Jack's LP thus drops to 2000 (4000-2000) while Red Demon's Dragon's ATK goes up to 5000 (3000+2000).

Jack rides backward to confront the Diablo. "You will get what you deserve. Grudge of D-Wheelers crashed by you, I will return it by Red Demon's Dragon!, " he says and declares an attack of Red Demon's Dragon, "Absolute Power Force!," to destroy Ally of Justice Clausolas. This strike makes LP of Ghost who owns it drop to 1300 (4000+2300-5000).

Meanwhile, Lua, Luca, and Crow are watching over Jack's duel from a telescreen at the duel stadium. Crow is impatient and can't stay still. He decides to move to help his friends fight. Lua is trying to stop him as Crow should rest quietly. Crow is afraid that he can't stay still like this. When he tries to move, pain runs through his shoulder and makes him cry.

Luca argues that if Crow goes by this body, he will be just a drag. Believing and waiting is also a duty of a good friend. Lua is impressed by Luca's lines and says that she can truly be relied on. Luca is afraid that Lua just can't be reliable. Hearing Luca saying so, Crow changes his mind. He looks up and counts on Yusei for the rest.

There is a lot of smoke from many crashes on highways. Placido is observing the situations from the top of a building. The signal from the Diablo begins to vanish one by one. Placido looks mad and wonders whether this is what Yusei's doing. Then, the picture of Jose appears on a virtual screen. Placido asks what Jose wants as he is very busy now. Jose asks back what Placido is doing.

Placido says that Jose's way is too loose. If they force them to duel, the circuit will rise to the surface sooner. Jose tells him that Placido truly doesn't understand anything. Meaningless battle can't bring out potentials in humans, and the perfect circuit can't be completed. Luciano makes another point that the one in Placido's way is truly Yusei Fudo. Placido has already been defeated by him once. It wouldn't have happened if Placido had listened to Jose. Luciano laughs and looks very amused.

Placido is very mad after hearing Luciano's lines. He feels sorry to Jose as he decides to make it by his own way. Jose tries to talk to him, but Placido cuts the connection. Placido hopes that Yusei won't get himself carried away. He will teach him that a human like Yusei can't beat him after all.

Jack is now preparing to draw in his turn. Anyway, the Diablo ignore him and Kazama by moving to other directions. Jack wonders why the Diablos are retreating. The signals of Ghosts are all gone from the screen Ushio is watching. Ushio doubts whether the duels have already been ended. Mikage tells him that it's wrong. The signals of Ghosts just change their directions. Mikage and Ushio are surprised by seeing that the signals just gather themselves to one spot. They are moving toward where Yusei is.

At Yusei's battlefield, Stardust Dragon is attacking a Ghost directly and making his LP drop to 0 (500-2500). Seeing no more Ghost, Yusei wonders whether it has already been over. Sherry looks stunned and calls Yusei's attention. Yusei notices that a large number of Ghosts are now chasing after his group. More Ghosts from other directions are also joining, making their number increase. Placido laughs as he wants Yusei to take this concentrated attack.

EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 2

Yusei group including Sherry and Mizoguchi is being attacked by a march of Ghosts. Sherry is concerned by a large number of them. One Ghost speeds up and creates light spheres that surround the everyone. It forces their system to change into battle royale mode. Yusei sees that they are forced to enter duel mode, telling people to be careful. Ghost challenges Yusei into a duel and calls for his turn.

Note: The the earlier battle royale duels, SPCs are added normally but they aren't very important to be displayed. SPCs play some roles in the following match, so we still count them in the next couple turns.

1st Turn - 1st Ghost

Diablo's SPCs 0
Mizoguchi's SPCs 0
Sherry's SPCs 0
Yusei's SPCs 0

Drawing a card, the first Ghost summons Ally of Justice Garadholg to the field in attack position. According to the effect of Speed World 2, no Speed Counter increases in the first turn of the game. Thus, a number of SPCs is 0 for all parties. Setting 2 face-down cards, he ends his turn.

2nd Turn - Mizoguchi

Diablo's SPCs 1
Mizoguchi's SPCs 1
Sherry's SPCs 1
Yusei's SPCs 1

Mizoguchi calls for his turn and draws a card. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to all sides following the effect of Speed World 2. They result in 1 SPC (1+0) evenly. Mizoguchi summons [Samurai of Fiendish Fore ~ Macho No Mononofu - 4/1200: When this card is Normal Summoned, You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower Warrior-Type monster from your hand] to the field in attack position. When this card is normal summoned, he is allowed to special summon a monster with level 3 or less from his hand.

Mizoguchi thus special summons a tuner monster [Samurai of Assaulting Aft ~ Hoshou no Mononofu - 3/0] from his hand to the field in attack position. He tunes Samurai of Assaulting Aft into Samurai of Fiendish Fore and synchro summons [Wild Samurai of Tenacity ~ Futai No Aramusha - 7/2400/2100: When this card is attacked by an opponent's monster whose ATK is higher than this card's ATK, this card is not destroyed. After damage calculation, destroy your opponent's attacking monster] to the field in attack position.

Mizoguchi rides backward, moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Wild Samurai of Tenacity to destroy Ally of Justice Garadholg. Ghost's LP drops to 3200 (4000+1600-2400). Here is the end of Mizoguchi's turn. Sherry calls that she will be the next opponent.

3rd Turn - Sherry

Diablo's SPCs 2
Mizoguchi's SPCs 2
Sherry's SPCs 2
Yusei's SPCs 2

Sherry draws. In her standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to all sides following the effect of Speed World 2. They result in 2 SPCs (1+1) evenly. Sherry activates [Speed Spell - Over Boost ~ Sp - Over Boost - Normal Spell: Increase your Speed Counters by 4 for this turn. Reduce your Speed Counters to 1 at the End Phase], which allows her SPCs to increase by 4 in this turn. However, they will be reduced to 1 at the end phase. By this play, her SPCs increase to 6 (2+4).

Next, Sherry activates [Speed Spell - Speed Fusion ~ Sp - Speed Fusion - Normal Spell: You can only activate this card when your Speed Counters are 4 or higher. Send monsters listed on a Fusion Monster from your hand or field to the Cemetery to Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. (This Summon is treated as Fusion Summon.)]. This card requires at least 4 SPCs to be played, and she currently maintains 6 SPCs to satisfy the condition. It works like Polymerization, allowing her to special summon a fusion monster.

Sherry fuses Spear Holder of the Holy Knight and Swift Horse of the Floral Knight Force on her hand to fusion summon [Centaurumina - 6/2200/1600: Once during your turn, you can negate the effect of an opponent's Trap card and re-set it back on the field] to the field in attack position. She next summons a tuner monster [Fleur Synchron - 2/400/200: If this card is used for a Synchro Monster's Synchro Summoning and sent to the Cemetery, you can Special Summon 1 level four or lower Normal Monster in your hand to your side of the field] to the field in attack position.

Sherry tunes Fleur Synchron into Centaurumina. "Body spawned from the speed of light, the time for revolution has come. May you bring me victory! Synchro Summon! Shine, Fleur-de-Chevalier!," she says and synchro summons [Fleur de Chevalier - 8/2700/2300: Once during you or your opponent's turn, you can negate the activation of an opponent's Magic or Trap card and destroy it] to the field in attack position.

Sherry slides her D-Wheel as entering battle phase. She declares a direct attack of Fleur de Chevalier, "Fleur De Mirage!," toward the first Ghost and makes his LP drop to 500 (3200-2700). At Sherry's end phase, her SPCs drop to 1 following the effect of Speed Spell - Over Boost. Meanwhile, the second Ghost is speeding up to join the battle.

4th Turn - Yusei

Diablo's SPCs 3
Mizoguchi's SPCs 3
Sherry's SPCs 2
Yusei's SPCs 3

Yusei calls for his turn and draws a card. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to all sides following the effect of Speed World 2. They result in 3 SPCs (2+1) evenly while Sherry has 2 SPCs (1+1). Yusei discards Bolt Hedgehog on hand to the graveyard to special summon a tuner monster [Quick Synchron - 5/700/1400: You can send 1 Monster from your hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon this card from your hand. This card can be treated as the same name of any "Synchron" monster used as a Tuner Monster Material for a Synchro Monster] from his hand to the field in attack position. Quick Synchron can be special summoned by discarding a monster card on hand.

Next, when there is a tuner monster on the field, [Bolt Hedgehog - 2/800/800: If there is a face-up Tuner monster on your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this card is removed from the field after it was Special Summoned by this effect, it is removed from play] can be special summoned from the graveyard. Yusei special summons it back from the cemetery to the field in attack position.

Yusei next special summons [Lead Butterfly - 1/300/600: You can Special Summon this card from your hand when you control no Synchro monsters and your opponent controls a Synchro monster] from hand to the field in attack position. This monster can be special summoned when only the opponent controls a synchro monster. Mizoguchi and Sherry both have a synchro monster on their fields, so the condition for Lead Butterfly to be special summoned is satisfied.

Yusei tunes Quick Synchron into Lead Butterfly and Bolt Hedgehog. "Clustering hopes will evoke to a new horizon and become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon, Dash on, Road Warrior!", he says as synchro summons [Road Warrior - 8/3000/1500: Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower Warrior-Type or Machine-Type monster from your Deck] onto the field in attack position.

By a monster effect of Road Warrior, Yusei special summons [Speed Warrior - 2/900/300: This can only be activated during the Battle Phase of the turn in which this card is successfully summoned. Double this card's original attack power until the end of the Battle Phase] from his deck to the field in attack position. He moves to battle phase, declares an attack of Speed Warrior, "Sonic Edge!," to strike the second Ghost, and makes his LP drop to 3100 (4000-900). Meanwhile, the third Ghost is catching up.

Yusei declares an attack of Road Warrior, "Lightning Claw!," toward the third Ghost, and makes his LP decrease to 1000 (4000-3000) instantly. The third Ghost speeds down and rides along his group. Setting a face-down card, Yusei ends his turn.

5th & on Turns - Ghosts

A turn is back to the second Ghost. Once he draws a card, Yusei opens his face-down trap card [Synchro Prominence - Normal Trap: The controller of a Synchro Monster can inflict 1000 damage to an opponent], which allows the controller of a synchro monster to inflict 1000 damage to the opponent. This effect is applied to all players with a synchro monster on the field. That means Mizoguchi and Sherry can also utilize its effect.

Yusei, Sherry, and Mizoguchi have their synchro monsters, Road Warrior, Fleur de Chevalier, Wild Samurai of Tenacity inflict 1000 damage to 3 Ghosts at the same time. The second Ghost with 3100 LP originally attacked by Yusei in the prior turn loses 1000 LP down to 2100 (3100-1000). The first Ghost with 500 LP originally attacked by Mizoguchi and Sherry loses all LPs down to 0 (500-1000). The third Ghost with 1000 originally attacked by Yusei also loses all LPs down to 0 exactly (1000-1000).

3 Ghosts crash and explode, but there are more coming. Placido watching over them sees that Mizoguchi and Sherry are just a bother and should be vanished. It's like a decisive order to the Diablo. Next, another Ghost summons [Ally of Justice Tractor ~ A・O・J (Ally of Justice) Tractor - 1/0/0: When your opponent controls a LIGHT monster, you can Tribute this card to add 2 "Ally of Justice" monsters from your Deck to your hand] to the field in attack position.

According to its effect, when the opponent controls a light-attribute monster, Ghost can tribute this monster to add 2 Ally of Justice monsters from deck to hand. Road Warrior of Yusei has a light attribute to satisfy this condition. Ghost special summons 3 [Ally of Justice Cosmic Closer ~ A・O・J (Ally of Justice) Cosmic Closer - 8/2400/1200: If your opponent controls at least 2 Monster cards with at least 1 of them being a LIGHT monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand] to the field in attack position.

Yusei is very surprised by seeing 3 high-level monsters summoned at a time. Ghost explains that Ally of Justice Cosmic Closer can be special summoned from hand when the opponent has more than 2 monsters on the field and one of them is a light-attribute monster (He has 1 Ally of Justice Cosmic Closer on hand and plays the effect of Ally of Tractor to add the remaining 2 Ally Justice Cosmic Closer from deck to hand).

Ghost declares an attack of Ally of Justice Cosmic Closer toward Wild Samurai of Tenacity. Because both have the same 2400 ATK, they kill one another and explode. Ghost declares the remaining attacks of 2 Ally of Justice Cosmic Closer toward Mizoguchi. Double strikes make his LP drop to 0 (4000-2400*2) immediately. Mizoguchi screams as he crashes. Ghost sets up a face-down card and ends his turn. The Diablo then speeds up to chase the next target, Sherry.

Another Ghost calls for his turn. At this moment, the earlier Ghost opens his face-down trap card [DNA Transplant ~ DNA Ishokushujutsu - Continuous Trap: Declare 1 Attribute when you activate this card. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the Attribute of all face-up monsters on the field become the one you declared]. According to its effect, all monsters on the field will have the same attribute as a declared attribute. Ghost absolutely selects to change Speed Warrior's and Fleur de Chevalier's attribute to light for a sake of his Ally of Justice monsters.

Ghost summons [Ally Bomb - 2/400/300: If a LIGHT monster destroys this card by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, destroy 2 cards on the field] to the field in attack position. He moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Ally Bomb toward Fleur de Chevalier. Because Fleur de Chevalier has higher ATK, it cuts Ally Bomb in pieces and makes it explode. Ghost's LP drops to 1700 (4000+400-2700).

Ghost activates a monster effect of Ally Bomb at this moment. When a light-attribute monster destroys Ally Bomb by battle, he can destroy 2 cards on the field. Sherry is concerned by that she has already fallen into his trap. Due to the effect of DNA Transplant, Fleur de Chevalier and Speed Warrior are now changed to light-attribute monsters. Ghost decides to apply this effect to destroy both Fleur de Chevalier and Speed Warrior.

The next Ghost calls for his turn and summons Ally Bomb to the field. He moves to battle phase and declares a direct attack of Ally Bomb toward Sherry. Her LP drops to 3600 (4000-400). Sherry swings a bit but can still balance herself. Ghost ends his turn quickly, following by a series of 9 Ally Bombs summoned by the remaining 9 Ghosts. 9 Ally Bombs fly over Sherry as she screams. Her LP drops to 0 finally (3600-400*9).

Note: Anime shows that 9 Ally Bombs hit Sherry at the sane time. However, it should be one strike per Ghost per turn or 9 strikes in 9 turns.

Yusei yells as seeing Sherry crashing. The Diablo speed up pass Sherry and chase after Yusei the last target. Although Road Warrior has high ATK, it will truly be destroyed by the monster effect of Ally Bomb. Yusei is getting worried by this overwhelming wind. If he gets caught into it, he will certainly be finished off.

"Yusei, the true hell will be from now on," Placido says and laughs out loud.
