EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 1

Earlier, Crow met Bolger at his office to ask whether Bolger had any idea who used Blood Mephist card. He thought that the opponent who dueled Pearson and used this card at that time was the one who killed Pearson. Pearson appeared to know something, so Crow demanded him an answer. Bolger agreed to tell Crow the truth on one condition: Crow had to defeat him in a duel.

Their riding duel started and was continued. Crow activated the monster effect of Black Feather Sirocco the Dawn to have Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast can gain ATK by all attack power of other Black Feather monsters on the field. Besides Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast, Black Feather - Sirocco the Dawn was the only Black Feather monster. The ATK of Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast thus increased to 3700 (1700+2000). Jack got excited because this attack power was higher than 2000 DEF of the opponent's monster.

Bolger called that it's too simple. He opened his face-down continuous trap card, White Out, that negated the effect of monsters on the opponent's field. Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast thus couldn't gain the ATK from Black Feather - Sirocco the Dawn, and its ATK dropped to its original 1700 points.

Bolger knew well that if an individual monster couldn't become a treat by its own, power could emerge when more friends are called and they unite their power. That bond was a speciality of Black Feather deck. Thus, Bolger torn that bond apart by White Out. By now, Black Feather monsters had been forced out or separated. As long as White Out was activated, Black Feather monsters couldn't rely on the power of their friends, neither nor lend power to their friends. Yusei was concerned by that White Out cut the bond among monsters while Heaven's Arrow inflicted damage. This was an Anti-Black-Feather deck. Crow looked nervous but the duel has just started.

4th Turn - Crow

Bolger's SPCs 3
Crow's SPCs 3

Bolger calls for Crow's turn, and Crow draws a card. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to both sides following the effect of Speed World 2. They result in 3 SPCs (2+1) evenly. Crow thinks that it's such a trouble if he can't use his monster effect because of White Out. Thus, he must do something with White Out as the first priority.

For that purpose, Crow sets up Trap Stun face-down. He next summons [Black Feather - Mistral the Silver Shield ~ BF (Black Feather) - Gintate No Mistral - 2/100/1800: When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, reduce all Battle Damage you receive in this turn to 0] in defense position and ends his turn.

5th Turn - Bolger

Bolger's SPCs 4
Crow's SPCs 4

White Warrior - Snow the Rope Dart
Effect Monster Card

A turn is back go Bolger, and he draws a card. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to both sides following the effect of Speed World 2. They result in 4 SPCs (3+1) evenly. Bolger normal summons [White Warrior - Snow the Rope Dart ~ WW (White Warrior) - Jyouhyou No Snow - 4/0/0: This card gains 100 ATK for each card on the field. This card can attack the opponent directly. When this card becomes an attack target, you can return it to your hand] to the field in attack position. This card can gain 100 ATK for each card on the field. There are now 7 cards on the field. The ATK of White Warrior - Snow the Rope Dart thus becomes 700 (7*100).

Note: 9 cards on the field are:
1. Black Feather - Mistral the Silver Shield (Crow's field)
2. Trap Stun (Face-down on Crow's field)
3. White Warrior - Snow the Rope Dart (Bolger's field)
4. White Warrior - Hail the Iron Hammer (Bolger's field)
5. White Warrior - Fog the Treasured Shield (Bolger's field)
6. White Out (Face-up on Bolger's field)
7. Heaven's Arrow (Bolger's field)
It is important that they don't count a field spell, Speed World 2, as a card on the field. Otherwise, a number of cards would be 9 when two Speed World 2 on both fields are counted.

White Warrior - Snow the Rope Dart has a monster effect that allows it to attack the opponent directly. Bolger moves to battle phase, declaring a direct attack of White Warrior - Show the Rope Dart toward Crow. Crow's LP drops to 2400 (3100-700) by this strike. When a direct was made, the monster effect of Fog the Treasured Shield is activated, which allows it to destroy 1 spell/trap card on the field. Crow's face-down Trap Stun is thus destroyed. Crow is nervous as his plan to activate Trap Stun has failed.

Bolger wonders whether Crow truly thought that he wasn't aware of it. He turns back to him and asks how many times Crow thinks they have dueled. In other words, both have dueled long enough to understand each other. It's true as Bolger calls, and Crow can't argue anything.

6th Turn - Crow

Bolger's SPCs 5
Crow's SPCs 5

A turn moves to Crow, and he draws a card. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to both sides following the effect of Speed World 2. They result in 5 SPCs (4+1) evenly. Crow summons [Black Feather - Shura the Blue Flame ~ BF (Black Feather) - Souen No Shura - 4/1800/1200: When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Black Feather" monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck. That monster's effect(s) is negated] to the field in attack position. He tunes Black Feather - Mistral the Silver Shield into Black Feather - Shura the Blue Flame.

"Pitch-dark power, lodge in its great wings and stir up the divine winds! Gust Fiercely! Synchro Summon! Black Feather- Arms Wing!", he says and synchro summons [Black Feather - Arms Wing - 6/2300/2100: If this card attacks a monster in defense mode, its attack power increases by 500 points during the Damage Step. When this card attacks a defense mode monster, if your attack power exceeds its defense power, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the difference] to the field in attack position.

Black Feather - Arms Wing

Jack sees a chance as Crow could successfully synchro summon. Crow moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Black Feather - Arms Wing, "Black Charge!," toward White Warrior - Snow the Rope Dart. Bolger activates the remaining effect of Snow the Rope Dart at this moment. When this card becomes an attack target, he can return it to his hand. Thus, the first attack target is gone from the field.

Because a number of monsters changes, Crow can change an attack target. He selects to have Black Feather - Arms Wing attack defending White Warrior - Fog the Treasured Shield. When Black Feather - Arms Wing attacks a monster in defense position, its ATK can increase by 500 points. Black Feather - Arms Wing's ATK thus becomes 2800 (2300+500). White Warrior - Fog the Treasured Shield is finally destroyed.

Crow activates the remaining effect of Black Feather - Arms Wing. It has a damage-piercing effect through a defense-position monster. Bolger's LP thus has decreased by the first time to 3200 (4000+2000-2800). Jack sees the result that a tuner monster, White Warrior - Snow the Rope Dart, could get away, but an effect monster, White Warrior - Fog the Treasured Shield, was instead destroyed. Yusei adds that when a monster is destroyed, 400 damage points will be inflicted at the end phase following the effect of Heaven's Arrow (It seems that Bolger gives importance to a tuner monster rather than an effect monster although he knows that he will receive effect damage at the end phase if his monster is destroyed). Setting a face-down card, Crow ends his turn.

At the end phase, Bolger receives 400 effect damage from Heaven's Arrow as expected. A spear drops from the sky and pierces to his body. His LP drops to 2800 (3200-400). Crow tells Bolger that he can't be defeated in this duel to find out the one who killed Pearson. Bolger sees that Crow's decision is very strong. He thus plans to give to him an answer he wants.

7th Turn - Bolger

Bolger's SPCs 6
Crow's SPCs 6

Bolger calls for his turn and draws a card. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to both sides following the effect of Speed World 2. They result in 6 SPCs (5+1) evenly. Bolger summons a tuner monster returned to hand in the earlier turn, White Warrior - Snow the Rope Dart, to the field again in attack position. He tunes White Warrior - Snow the Rope Dart into White Warrior - Hail the Iron Hammer.

Blood Mephist
Effect Monster Card

"Ones born from darkness of heart, now, descend in exchange with soul!" Stir up their blood! Blood Mephist!," Bolger says and synchro summons [Blood Mephist - 8/2800/1300: Once per turn, you can inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card your opponent controls. When your opponent sets a Spell or Trap Card, inflict 300 damage to your opponent] to the field in attack position. This monster is Bolger's answer to Crow. Everyone is pretty shocked by seeing Blood Mephist and doesn't understand how Bolger has this card in possession.

There is only one possible answer, and Crow has already figured it out. He asks whether Bolger did kill Pearson. Bolger is quiet, which means he accepts the claim. Crow demands explanation. He knows well that Bolger gave high respect to Pearson, so he doesn't understand why Bolger had to do this to him. Bolger answers that it's all for making D-Wheels. He expects Crow to know that it's their dream.

Back then, D-Wheel's development reached a limit due to insufficient funds. One day, the city people who had heard their story from somewhere offered them a large amount of funds. However, Pearson rejected the offer. Bolger wasn't satisfied. He thought that what was important to Pearson at that time wasn't to complete of D-Wheels but was to make his own name known known as a developer of D-Wheels from Satellite. The city people left, and Bolger was very mad. He couldn't forgive Pearson. Till the end, a merit from the city people was taken away.

Therefore, Bolger made a decision. He put their design development in a memory drive and told Pearson that he would take it away. If Pearson would like to stop him, he had to defeat him first. Bolger was serious, inserted his deck in a duel disk, and stood by. He challenged Pearson into a duel.

Bolger tells Crow that he didn't regret to what he did. Because he could defeat Pearson, he could complete production of D-Wheels. People of old Satellite zone could freely enjoy riding duel. Bolger could make a D-Wheel like that. Although he has to hold the title of a murderer, he will protect his factory. Crow looks very nervous and confused after hearing the true story.

Bolger hands over Crow. He hopes that Crow will give him Black Feather Dragon if he has understood everything by now. He knows well that Pearson entrusted Black Bird and Black Feather Dragon to Crow. Crow is still quiet, and Bolger rushes him to give an answer. Crow thinks about the last moment when Pearson entrusted him Black Bird in fire.

Crow can't believe it. There is no way he would believe that Pearson was a type of person Bolger has just said about (A person who didn't care about completion of D-Wheels and wanted to make his name known as a developer of D-Wheels from Satellite). Bolger realizes that he has no choice but has to obtain Black Feather Dragon by winning this duel. It doesn't matter if he has to make Crow experience the same thing as Pearson did.

Bolger activates the monster effect of Blood Mephist. Once per turn, it can inflict 300 damage points for each card on Crow's field. Crow now has Black Feather - Arms Wing on the field and a face-down card on the field, so his LP drops to 1800 (2400-300*2). Bolger moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Blood Mephist, "Cursed Blood!," to destroy Black Feather - Arms Wing. This strike reduces Crow's LP to 1300 (1800+2300-2800). Crow is now looking very painful while his Black Bird is shaking strongly.

Seeing those reactions, Jack and Yusei doubt whether Crow was getting real damage. Crow doesn't understand that this pain is. It is as if his body was torn apart. Jack has realized that this is true power of Blood Mephist. Bolger ends his turn at this point. At this end phase, Crow receives 400 effect damage from Heaven's Arrow because his monster was destroyed in this turn. A spear drops from the sky and pierces into his body. His LP decreases to 900 (1300-400).

Bolger tells Crow that Crow can still be safe if he surrenders now. He calls that Pearson isn't the man whom Crow should risk his life for. There is no way Crow will surrender. He expresses his strong will that he believes in Pearson. Those who support Crow are not only Pearson but many kids whom Pearson took care of.

EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 2

8th Turn - Crow

Bolger's SPCs 7
Crow's SPCs 7

It's now Crow's turn, and he draws a card. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to both sides following the effect of Speed World 2. They result in 7 SPCs (6+1) evenly. Crow activates the effect of Speed World 2 at this moment. Removing all 7 SPCs he currently has, he can draw one more card. Losing all SPCs, his speed significantly drops.

Black Feather - Kochi the Daybreak
Tuner Monster Card

Crow draws and gets Black Feather - Jet the Blue Sky. He next summons a tuner monster [Black Feather - Kochi the Daybreak ~ BF (Black Feather) - Shinonome No Kochi - 4/700/1500: This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster during the turn it is Summoned] to the field in defense position and sets up a face-down card. At this moment, Bolger activates the monster effect of Blood Mephist. When an opponent sets up a spell/trap card, this monster can inflict 300 damage to the opponent. Crow's LP thus drops to 600 (900-300). Black Bird is now shaking, and a wing is finally broken.

Yusei is surprised by seeing Black Bird damaged. Jack is concerned by that Crow's body won't be able to bear at this rate. Bolger suggests Crow give up as he is afraid that Crow will die if this continues. Crow challenges Bolger to do so if he thinks he can. He ends his turn at this point. Bolger understands that he has no choice.

9th Turn - Bolger

Bolger's SPCs 8
Crow's SPCs 1

It's now Bolger's turn, and he draws a card. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to both sides following the effect of Speed World 2. Bolger results in 8 SPCs (7+1) while Crow results in 1 SPC (0+1) as he has just used up all of his SPCs in the prior turn. Bolger activates the monster effect of Blood Mephist to inflict 300 damage to the opponent for each card on the opponent's field. There are 3 cards on Crow's field now: Black Feather - Kochi the Daybreak and 2 face-down cards. Thus, 900 damage (300*3) will be inflicted to him.

Downburst
Normal Trap Card

It this damage passes through, Crow with 600 LP will be defeated immediately. As the impact is about to reach Crow, he opens his face-down trap card [Downburst - Normal Trap: Face-Up Spell & Trap Cards your opponent controls are set face-down. A card set by this card's effect cannot be activated this turn or activate its effect] that can change all face-up spell/trap cards on the opponent's field to face-down. Thus, Heaven's Arrow and White Out are returned to set-up position.

Crow next opens the second face-down trap card [Delta Crow - Anti Reverse - Normal Trap: This card can only be activated if there a monsters with "Black Feather" in their name on your side of the field. In addition, if there are three monsters with "Black Feather" in their name on your side of the field, this card can be activated from your hand. Destroy all cards set on your opponent's side of the field], which can be activated when a Black Feather monster, Black Feather - Kochi the Daybreak in this case, is on the field. It allows him to destroy all set-up cards on the opponent's field.

Thus, the 2 set-up cards on Bolger's field, Heaven's Arrow and White Out, are destroyed. Crow successfully reduces a number of his cards on the field by 2. He has only Black Feather - Kochi the Daybreak on the field, so he receives only 300 damage. His LP drops to 300 (600-300*1). A part of his Black Bird is broken along with damage received. Yusei sees that it's good now. When White Out is destroyed, the bond of Black Feather monsters returns (Their correlate effects are back).

Although Crow still has strong will to live, Bolger sees Crow's LP hung on a thread. He normal summons [White Warrior - Sleet the Sacred Flail ~ WW (White Warrior) - Seikyuukon No Sleet - 1/0: You can tribute this card you control when you destroy an opponent's monster by battle to inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the ATK of your monster] to the field in attack position. According to its effect, Bolger can release this card to have another monster, Blood Mephist in this case, to inflict a half of its ATK to the opponent's life points when Blood Mephist can destroy a monster by battle.

Yusei understands that it means if Crow's monster is destroyed by Blood Mephist, Crow will receive 1400 damage (2800/2) and be defeated. Bolger moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Blood Mephist, "Cursed Blood!," toward Black Feather - Kochi the Daybreak. At this moment, Crow activates the monster effect of [Black Feather - Jet the Blue Sky ~ BF (Black Feather) - Souten No Jet - 1/100/800: You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard to prevent a Black Feather monster on your field from being destroyed] on his hand. By sending this card on hand to the cemetery, he can prevent Black Feather - Kochi the Daybreak from being destroyed.

Jack sees that Crow could somehow dodge it this time. Bolger might miss in this turn but he believes that next turn will be over. Setting up 1 face-down card, he ends his turn. Crow is concerned by the current state. If he sets up a card, he will take damage from the effect of Blood Mephist and his LP will be 0. Crow wonders whether there truly isn't a chance for him to beat Blood Mephist.

Crow then hears voice of a kid coming through a speaker. The voice is calling for Big Brother Crow to look at them. Crow looks up at the observation deck and sees many children there. They are holding boards with cheering words, "Keep it up, Crow Big Brother!." A boy is talking through Crow through a microphone. He says that all of the kids are with him. Everyone is cheering Crow to have him keep up.

Seeing the kids, Crow smiles and reminds himself of what Yusei told him earlier (episode 94). Yusei believed that Crow succeeded Pearson's will nicely. Meanwhile, the kids were calling for Crow at that time and asking him to join them. Yusei told Crow to look at those smiling faces of the kids. He asked whether Crow wasn't the one who gave hope of those faces to the kids. Hearing the kids cheering him and thinking about Yusei's words, Crow can't deny that he wants to protect those kids' feeling and Pearson's will entrusted to them.

His strong will finally activates the Crimson Dragon's birthmark on his right arm. The birthmark appears and responds to Black Bird to activate the hidden card in it. The card is a synchro monster that Bolger has looked for, Black Feather Dragon. Everyone is stunned when they all see this card appear on screen. Yusei doesn't understand what's going on. Seeing Black Feather Dragon hidden within Black Bird, Crow remembers Pearson's last words. Pearson asked Crow to take care of the kids for him. Crow has just understood everything especially why Pearson rejected the funds from the city people at that time. Tears are on Crow's eyes. He declares that he will carry out Pearson's feelings.

10th Turn - Crow

Bolger's SPCs 9
Crow's SPCs 2

Crow's turn and probably his last chance is back. He draws a card. In his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to both sides following the effect of Speed World 2. Bolger results in 9 SPCs (8+1) while Crow results in 2 SPCs (1+1). Crow summons [Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast ~ BF (Black Feather) - Kuroyari No Blast - 4/1700/1800: If you control a "Black Feather" monster other than "Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast", you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card attacks a monster in defense mode, if your attack power exceeds their defense power, inflict Battle Damage equal to the difference to your opponent's Life Points] to the field in attack position.

Black Feather Dragon
Synchro Monster Card

Crow tunes Black Feather - Kochi the Daybreak into Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast. "Darkened whirlwind, take flight in the wings of concealed feelings! Synchro Summon! Soar! Black Feather Dragon!," he says and synchro summons [Black Feather Dragon - 8/2800/1600: When you receive damage besides from battle by this card, you cam reduce this monster's ATK by the same amount of damage received to negate the damage. Once per turn, You can return this card's ATK by the ATK reduced by this card's effect. Reduce the ATK of all monsters on your opponent's field by the ATK returned] to the field in attack position.

Black Feather Dragon

When Black Feather Dragon is summoned to the field, the Crimson Dragon's birthmarks on Yusei and Jack appear in response to it. This feeling makes them understand that Black Feather Dragon is the 5th dragon of the Signers. Bolger sees that Black Feather Dragon has finally shown itself. He thinks that victory has already been determined anyway.

Bolger opens his face-down trap card [Synchro Rivalry - Normal Trap: Activate only when your opponent Synchro Summons a Synchro Monster. During this turn, monsters you control cannot destroyed by battle], which he has prepared to use with a synchro monster like Black Feather Dragon. Its effect won't allow Bolger's monsters to be destroyed by battle in the turn a synchro monster is special summoned (Synchro summon is also considered a special summon. Thus, Blood Mephist won't be destroyed by battle i this turn).

Crow next plays [Speed Spell - Angel Baton ~ SP (Speed Spell) - Angel Baton - Normal Spell: You can activate this card if you have 2 Speed Counters or more. Discard 1 card from your hand. Draw 2 cards], which requires 2 SPCs to be activated. Crow currently has 2 SPCs to satisfy this condition. It allows him to draw 2 new cards and discard one of them to the graveyard.

Crow thus draws 2 cards and discards Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite to the cemetery. He then sets up 1 face-down card. Jack is afraid that if Crow sets up a card, Blood Mephist will inflict damage to him and he will be defeated. As Jack called, Bolger activates the monster effect of Blood Mephist to inflict 300 damage for each card Crow sets up. The kids are worried about Crow and call their Big Brother's name.

Black Feather Dragon uses its body to receive the effect damage from Blood Mephist. Crow tells people to take a look at the monster effect of Black Feather Dragon, "Damage Drain!." When he receives damage besides from battle, he can negate the damage by reducing Black Feather Dragon's ATK by the same amount of damage. Black Feather Dragon's ATK drops to 2500 (2800-300), and damage inflicted to Crow is negated. Bolger is stunned by that damage was negated. The impact of this damage drain causes a part of Black Feather Dragon's wings to turn dark.

Next, Crow activates the monster effect of [Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite ~ BF (Black Feather) - Seiei No Zephyros - 4/1600/1000: You take 400 damage when this card is sent to the Graveyard. By returning 1 card you control to your hand, Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned by this effect, and a card is set on the field, this card is destroyed], which he has just sent to the cementer by the effect of SP - Angel Baton, in the graveyard.

Synchro Rivalry
Normal Trap Card
Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite
Effect Monster Card

According to its effect, Crow can take 400 damage to add 1 card he controls to his hand and special summon this monster from the graveyard to the field. He thus returns a set-up card to his hand and special summon Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite from the cemetery to the field in attack position. However, he negates 400 damage by the effect of Black Feather Dragon. Black Feather Dragon's ATK further drops to 2100 (2500-400).

Seeing Crow decreasing the ATK of Black Feather Dragon, Bolger doubts what Crow is planning to do. Crow activates the monster effect of Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite. When special summoned from the graveyard by its own effect like this, it will be destroyed when Crow sets up a face-down card. Crow thus sets up a face-down card to destroy it intentionally.

When Crow sets up a card, the effect of Blood Mephist is activated to inflict 300 damage to Crow. Repeatedly, Crow reduces the ATK of Black Feather Dragon to 1800 (2100-300) to negate the damage. The more damage is negated, the more dark Black Feather Dragon's wings turn to. Again, Crow returns the set-up card to his hand to special summon Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite from the graveyard. Crow reduces Black Feather Dragon's ATK to 1400 (1800-400) to negate the damage for this special summon. He sets up a card to destroy Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite special summoned by this effect.

At this moment, the effect of Black Mephist is activated to inflict 300 damage to Crow. Crow negates it by reducing the ATK of Black Feather Dragon to 1100 (1400-300). Jack notices that Black Feather Dragon's wings are turning dark. Yusei sees that Black Feather Dragon is using itself as a shield. Bolger understands that it is killing itself through pain.

Crow hopes that Bolger should understand well that Pearson didn't want just to complete D-Wheels but because he wanted the kids to know what else they could do by themselves. He also would like them to know what they could achieve without borrowing the power from the city. That explains why Pearson rejected the help from the city. Bolger looks very shocked as he has never though by this far.

Black Feather Dragon is roaring. Bolger looks at it and wonders whether he has thought in the wrong way. That is what Crow agrees. He tells him what Pearson said back them. Pearson said that he understood painful feeling of the kids very well. Their parents were taken away, and they lost a place to go. They thus didn't understand what for they were born. It's all their pain.

Crow says that Black Feather Dragon absorbs pain and dyes its wings black. This monster is the same as Pearson. Crow continues his loop play, by returning the set-up card to his hand to special summon Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite from the graveyard. 400 damage is negated by the effect of Black Feather Dragon. Its ATK drops to 700 (1100-400). Crow again sets up a card to send Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite to the graveyard. Then, the effect of Blood Mephist is activated to inflict 300 damage to Crow. Crow negates it by reducing the ATK of Black Feather Dragon to 400 (700-300).

Crow explains that Pearson carried sorrow and pain of Satellite on his shoulders and planned to release Satellite by completing D-Wheels with Satellite base. Thus, Black Feather Dragon always goes along with Pearson (by its will). At this moment, the ATK of Black Feather Dragon drops to 0 (400-400) when Crow returns the set-up card to his hand and special summon Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite from the graveyard to the field in attack position.

Note: There are totally 4 loops in Crow's play to reduce Black Feather Dragon's ATK from 2800 to 0. There are certain conditions that can make this loop play possible with Black Feather Dragon as follow:
1. Black Feather - Zephyros the Elite must be in the graveyard.
2. There must be a card able to be set up.
3. Blood Mephist's effect isn't optional. That means "You can" texts are not included in the card effect. It inflicts 300 damage once a card is set up.

Then, Crow reduces the ATK of Black Feather Dragon by the following series of damage:

1st Loop
300 - Effect of Blood Mephist when a card is first set up
400 - Effect of BF - Zephyros the Elite to special summon it from the graveyard
300 - Effect of Blood Mephist when a card is set up to destroy BF - Zephyros the Elite
Black Feather Dragon's ATK = 1800 (2800-300-400-300)

2st Loop
400 - Effect of BF - Zephyros the Elite to special summon it from the graveyard
300 - Effect of Blood Mephist when a card is set up to destroy BF - Zephyros the Elite
Black Feather Dragon's ATK = 1100 (1800-400-300)

3rd Loop
400 - Effect of BF - Zephyros the Elite to special summon it from the graveyard
300 - Effect of Blood Mephist when a card is set up to destroy BF - Zephyros the Elite
Black Feather Dragon's ATK = 400 (1100-400-300)

4th Loop
400 - Effect of BF - Zephyros the Elite to special summon it from the graveyard
Black Feather Dragon's ATK = 0 (400-400)

When Black Feather Dragon's ATK turns to 0, its wings are totally dyed black. Bolger looks at Black Feather Dragon with his big eyes. Crow tells Bolger that these dyed black wings of Black Feather Dragon are the pain Pearson received from him. He is going to have Bolger experience the same pain.

Crow activates the remaining effect of Black Feather Dragon, "Black Burst!," . Once per turn, he can restore its ATK by the reduced attack power and reduce the ATK of all Bolger's monsters by the restored amount. Black Feather Dragon's ATK is reduced by 2800 (from 2800 to 0), so its ATK is totally to restored to 2800 while Blood Mephist's ATK is reduced to 0 (2800-2800). Jack understands that the more Black Feather Dragon absorbs pain, the more it can gain strength.

Crow moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Black Feather Dragon, "Nova Stream!," to destroy Black Mephist. Bolger turns his face away as he has already known his destiny. Blood Mephist is destroyed, and Bolger's LP drops to 0 exactly (2800+0-2800).

Duel End

The kids cheer up excitedly as Crow becomes the winner. Yusei smiles as seeing that Crow finally did it. The duel is over, and Bolger stops his D-Wheel. He takes off a helmet, looks at Black Feather Dragon, and thinks about Pearson. Bolger has understood that Pearson thought about the kids very much. It's truly him whose eyes were blinded by reputation. Bolger feels sorry and very upset. Crow looks at Bolger's act and doesn't say anything to him.

Later, Crow, Jack, and Yusei visit Pearson's grave together. Crow tells Pearson that Bolger has already turned himself to the police and Pearson's feeling has finally reached him. He takes out Black Feather Dragon card, looks at it, and swears that he will succeed its will (Pearson's will). Crow is holding the card tight in his hand in front of Pearson's grave while Yusei and Jack are watching over him behind.
