Yusei, Crow, and Jack are now at their old home. Jack and Yusei are playing with the children while Crow is staying away and looking at the picture of Blood Mephist. Yusei walks into Crow and thinks that Crow may be thinking about Pearson. He picks up the picture and looks at it. Crow explains that Pearson is his close friend who had entrusted Black Bird to him before he died. It happened right after Kiryu had been arrested.
After Satellite collapsed, Crow who lost his goal lived aimlessly everyday. On a rainny day, he was in a cottage while some kids were playing cards. They heard bike sound and saw a man falling on the ground. The man was a father of a boy in the cottage. The boy quickly ran out for his dad. Two men stepped down from a van, threw some money, and said that it's a reward for carrying this man back here.
Crow got mad and told them not to screw him up. He ran fast to charge those two men but got hit and kicked back. One of them warned a Satellite scum like Crow not to be too full of himself. When both of them were about to leave, Bolger and Pearson were riding their D-Wheels toward them. At that time, Crow didn't have any idea who these guys were.

Bolger and Pearson stepped in front of the two men who realized that they were being challenged. Four of them thus approached into a duel. Bolger summoned White Warrior - Hail the Iron Hammer and declared an attack. Pearson activated trap card, Shadow Dance. Above Pearson were an army of his Black Feather monsters. Their performance stunned Crow and the children very much. Eventually, Pearson synchro summoned Black Feather Dragon to the field, dropping the opponents' LP to 0 immediately.
The 2 men quickly ran into the van and got away. That's the first time Crow had met Pearson. Like Crow, Pearson gathered the kids on Satellite who had trouble and took care of them. At his home in a small cottage on a hill, he had the kids remember work so that they could realize their true potential. Crow remembered it well. The kids were learning how to fix a duel disk, and Crow was helping Pearson with the activity. Bolger was also there.
Pearson put a plan of a D-Wheel on board, exciting Crow and Bolger very much. Crow had to accept that Pearson gave his will to live again. They enjoyed developing D-Wheels with Pearson whose engine of Satellite's development startled the city group. Anyway, on a day, there was fire at the cottage of Pearson. Crow ran into it and met Pearson stuck in ruins. He was trying to save him, but fire was too strong for him to get in. Pearson asked Crow to take care of the kids. He had entrusted his Black Bird to Crow before he passed away.

That's the story how Crow could obtain Black Bird and own Black Feather deck. Crow tells Yusei that he who lost Pearson had no idea what to do at that time. He could only make children be happy by stolen cards. That made him being chased by the securities. Crow accepts that Bolger is great. Bolger succeeded Pearson's will and started a D-Wheel factory in the old Satellite area. After all, whatever Crow did might be merely in atonement for one's sins. He doesn't think that he carried out Pearson's will at all.
Hearing the whole story, Yusei totally disagrees. He believes that Crow has succeeded Pearson's will nicely. Crow is surprised and looks up. Meanwhile, the kids staying with Jack begin to call him. They ask what Crow has been doing and rush him to come and play with them. Yusei tells Crow to look at those kids' faces. He asks whether Crow isn't the one who gave smiling face of will to those kids.
Crow is stunned and can't say anything. Yusei tells him that there is nothing Crow needs to be ashamed. If Crow thinks that it is the right thing to do, he had better follow that path. Hearing so, Crow has finally made a decision. He last helps Bruno fix his D-Wheel for a match with Bolger. Jack is surprised by hearing of this settlement. He wonders because Black Feather Dragon wasn't entrusted to Crow. Yusei understands it, but this Crow's way of an answer. Jack gets it, so he decides to be involved by giving his hands.

At the test course of Bolger's company, Crow is ready on his Black Bird while Bolger is on a new D-Wheel recently developed by his company, PXV-3A. Yusei and Jack are in an observation deck. Bolger asks again whether Crow is truly fine with this. Crow confirms his answer. He decides to carry on Pearson's will by his own way. Bolger is fine with it and tells Crow to settle this down. Both stand by and set up [Speed
World 2 - Field Spell: When you play a Magic card other than a
Magic card with "Speed Spell" in its name, you receive
2000 points of damage. Both player's, during their
Standby Phases, place 1 Speed Counter for themselves on
this card. (A maximum of 12 for each player.) By
removing a number of Speed Counter placed from your
Speed World, you can activate one of following effects. 4: Inflict 800 Damage to your opponent for each
"Speed Spell" Card in your hand. 7: Draw 1 card from your deck.
10: Destroy 1 card on the field].
The theme is changed to Speed World, and a digital begins to count down. Both call, "Riding Duel, Acceleration!," for a start. They take off probably at the same time. However, Bolger boosts his engine and accelerates by incredible speed. Jack, Yusei, and Crow are very surprised by such a power. Crow realizes that it could be expected from the top model of D-Wheels. He accelerates the engine of Black Bird, chasing up Bolger.
Both are taking a corner. The one who gets it first will get the first turn as a common rule. PXV-3A of Bolger can accelerate while taking a corner, so he clearly leads Crow. Bolger asks for the first turn as he is the winner of taking the first corner.

Bolger calls for his first turn and draws a card. According to the effect of Speed
World 2, no Speed Counter increases in the first turn of the
game. Thus, a number of SPCs is 0 for both. Bolger summons [White Warrior - Fog the Treasured Shield ~ WW (White Warrior) - Houjun No Fog - 4/300/2000: When a White Warrior monster you control attacks the opponent directly and inflicts Battle Damage, destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on your opponent's side of the field] to the field in defense position. Setting 2 face-down cards, he ends his turn.

It's now Crow's turn, and he draws a card. In
his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to both sides following the effect of Speed World 2.
They result in 1 SPC (1+0) evenly. When there is a monster on the opponent's side of the field and none on his field, Crow can normal summon [Black Feather - Sirocco the Dawn ~ BF (Black Feather) - Akatsuki No Sirocco - 5/2000/900: If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon or Set this card without Tributing. Once per turn, you can select 1 face-up "Black Feather" monster you control. It gains ATK equal to the total ATK of all face-up "Blackwing" monsters on the field except itself. Monsters other than the selected monster cannot attack the turn you activate this effect] without release from his hand to the field in attack position.
Next, when there is a Black Feather monster on the field, Crow can special summon [Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast ~ BF (Black Feather) - Kuroyari No Blast - 4/1700/800: If you control a "Black Feather" monster other than "Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast", you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card attacks a monster in defense mode, if your attack power exceeds their defense power, inflict Battle Damage equal to the difference to your opponent's Life Points] from his hand to the field in attack position.
Following the monster effect of Black Feather Sirocco the Dawn, Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast can gain ATK by all attack power of other Black Feather monsters on the field. Besides Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast, Black Feather - Sirocco the Dawn is the only Black Feather monster. The ATK of Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast thus increases to 3700 (1700+2000). Jack gets excited because this attack power is now higher than the DEF of the opponent's monster.
Bolger doesn't look worried and calls that it's too simple. He opens his face-down continuous trap card [White Out - Continuous Trap: The effects of Monster cards your opponent controls, in their hand or in their Graveyards directed to Monster Cards your opponent controls, in their hand or in their Graveyards are negated], which can negate the effect of monsters on the opponent's field. Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast thus can't gain the ATK from Black Feather - Sirocco the Dawn, and its ATK drops to its original 1700 points.

If an individual monster can't become a treat by its own, power can emerge when more friends are called and they unite their power. That bond is a speciality of Black Feather deck. Thus, Bolger decides to tear that bond apart by White Out. By now, Black Feather monsters have been forced out or separated. As long as White Out is activated, Black Feather monsters can't rely on the power of their friends, neither nor lend power to their friends. Yusei is concerned that Crow is now in a bad spot. Crow does nothing else and ends his turn.

They result in 2 SPCs (1+1) evenly. Bolger normal summons [White Warrior - Hail the Iron Hammer ~ WW (White Warrior) - Tettsui No Hail - 4/1800/1600: When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, destroy 1 monster your opponent controls] to the field in attack position.
He next opens the last face-down trap card [Heaven's Arrorw - Continuous Trap: During the End Phase, when Monsters that where destroyed and sent to the Graveyard this turn, inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each monster]. At each end phase, damage equal to 400 will be inflicted to the opponent for each monster destroyed and sent to the graveyard in that turn. Crow is very stunned after hearing the effect.

Bolger moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of White Warrior - Hail the Iron Hammer to destroy Black Feather - Black-Lance Blast. Crow's LP drops to 3900 (4000+1800-1700). Bolger activates the monster effect of White Warrior - Hail the Iron Hammer. When it can destroy a monster by battley, it can destroy a monster Crow controls. Black Feather - Sirocco the Dawn is thus destroyed by this monster effect.
At Bolger's end phase, Crow has to receive damage from the effect of Heaven's Arrow. Many spears are flying from the sky and piercing to Crow's body. Crow screams in pain, and his LP drops to 3100 (3900-400*2). Yusei sees that White Out cuts the bond among monsters while Heaven's Arrow inflicts damage. This is an Anti-Black-Feather deck.
Bolger tells Crow to bring it on and rushes him to run his turn. Crow looks very nervous, but the duel has just started.
