EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 1

The duel between Lotten VS Yusei/Kiryu has come to the mid of the game. Yusei declares that he won't let Kiryu die. He points his finger to Lotten and says that he and Kiryu will definitely defeat him. Lotten is amused by hearing that. He asks what Yusei can do along with the death god. Yusei explains that because Kiryu is a death god, they can save this town like hell. West cheers up both Kiryu and Yusei. Nico says that they believe both Yusei and Kiryu will be able to save them.

Kiryu tells her to count on him as he will beat up Lotten soon. Yusei agrees and looks very confident. Lotten is very annoyed by their attitude while people around begin to doubt whether Yusei and Kiryu would win and intend to save this town. Barbara whips to stop people's stupid talk. She claims that Lotten will definitely win, and people will regret if they betray.

The duel is continued. Yusei and Lotten have full 4000 LP. Kiryu has 0 LP but he hasn't lost the game yet as long as he has Infernity Zero on the field. Infernity Zero now has 1 Death Counter on it. If there are 3 Death Counters, it will be destroyed and Kiryu will be defeated.

6th Turn - Yusei

It's now Yusei's turn, and he draws a card. Sending Bolt Hedgehog on his hand to the graveyard, he special summons a tuner monster [Quick Synchron - 5/700/1400: You can send 1 Monster from your hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon this card from your hand. This card can be treated as the same name of any "Synchron" monster used as a Tuner Monster Material for a Synchro Monster] to the field in attack position. This monster can be special summoned from hand by sending 1 monster or Bolt Hedgehog from hand to the graveyard.

Because there is a tuner monster on the field, [Bolt Hedgehog - 2/800/800: If there is a face-up Tuner monster on your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this card is removed from the field after it was Special Summoned by this effect, it is removed from play] can be special summoned from the graveyard to the field.

Yusei activates the monster effect of Quick Synchron, which can be treated as any Synchron monster. He selects to treat it as Nitro Synchron and tunes it into Bolt Hedgehog. "Clustering thoughts will become new power here! Become its path light shines upon! Synchro Summon, blaze, Nitro Warrior!," Yusei says and synchro summons [Nitro Warrior - 7/2800/1800: During your turn, if you activate a Spell card, increase this card's ATK by 1000 Points only once during this turn's damage calculation only. If this card destroys an opponent's monster in battle, you can change 1 face-up Defense Position monster your opponent controls to Attack Position and attack that monster again] to the field in attack position.

Nitro Warrior

Yusei moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Nitro Warrior, "Dynamite Knuckle!," to destroy defending Gatling Orge successfully. Kiryu is glad that Lotten's annoying monster has been gone. Yusei activates the monster effect of Nitro Warrior. When it can destroy a monster by battle, it can change a defense-position monster to attack position and attack it once more time in the same battle phase.

Thus, an Ambush Token with 100 ATK/DEF is changed to attack position. Nitro Warrior attacks and destroys it, dropping Lotten's LP to 1300 (4000+100-2800). Next, Yusei has Justice Bringer to destroy another defense-position Ambush Token. Lotten now has only 2 Ambush Tokens left. Setting 2 face-down cards, Yusei ends his turn. He calls that Lotten has no more set-up card and Gatling Orge. Kiryu is impressed by that Yusei could drop Lotten's LP to 1300 in an instance. Lotten looks very mad at both of them and say that they can feel good only for now.

7th Turn - Lotten

Lotten calls for his turn, draws a card, and plays [Treasures of Buried Spell ~ Maisou Jyumon No Housattsu - Normal Spell: Remove 3 Spell Cards from your Graveyard from play to Draw 2 cards from your Deck]. According to its effect, he can remove 3 spell cards, which are Reload, Pot of Avarice, and Linear Cannon, in the graveyard from play to draw 2 new cards.

Lotten then releases 2 Ambush Tokens to advance summon [Longbarrel Orge - 7/?/3000: Up to 2 times per turn, destroy your opponent's monster with the highest ATK and inflict damage equal to a half the destroyed monster's ATK to your opponent's Life Points] to the field in defense position.

Yusei and Kiryu are afraid that another annoying monster has appeared. Lotten explains its effect that Longbarrel Orge can destroy an opponent's monster with the highest ATK and inflict damage equal to a half of the destroyed monster to the opponent's Life Points. He aims to Kiryu's field. Although Infernity Zero can keep Kiryu from dying when he has 0 LP, the death god will die when there are 3 Death Counters. A Death Counter will increase for each 500 damage Kiryu receives.

Lotten moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Longbarrel Orge, "Great Snipe! First Shot," to destroy Infernity Demon, the strongest monster on Kiryu's field. The ATK of Infernity Demon is 1800, so Kiryu has to receive 900 damage (1800/2). A bit bullets drops from the sky and strikes Kiryu strongly. This makes another Death Counter (900/500=1: Remainders are irrelevant) placed on Infernity Zero.

Lotten says that just one more Death Counter, and Kiryu's life will be stopped. He also surprises Kiryu by saying that the monster effect of Longbarrel Orge can be used twice per turn. Lotten laughs as planning to shoot the third bullet to stop the death god's heart beating. He tells him to die and calls the second shot of Longbarrel Orge, "Great Snipe! Second Shot," toward Infernity Beast.

Note: Infernity Beast has 1600 ATK. If the monster effect of Longbarrel Orge gets through, Kiryu will receive 800 damage (1600/2), which will make up another Death Counter on Infernity Zero and will make him defeated immediately.

At this moment, Yusei opens his face-down trap card [Skill Twist - Normal Trap: You can change a target of a monster's effect to another monster on your field], which can change the target of a monster's effect to another monster on the field. He selects to change the target of Longbarrel Orge's bullet to Nitro Warrior, the strongest monster on his field. His LP drops to 2600 (4000-2800/2).

Kiryu is stunned by that Yusei sacrificed himself to protect him. Yusei recalls what he has already said. He wouldn't let Kiryu die, no matter what. Lotten says that Yusei lost 1400 damage (2800/2) anyway. It doesn't matter for him if Yusei would like to go first. Setting up a face-down card, Lotten ends his turn. He now has no card left on hand. Kiryu tells Lotten not to be kidding. There is no way they will go to hell before Lotten.

8th Turn - Kiryu

A turn moves to Kiryu, and he draws a card. Kiryu plays [Bullet & Cartridge - Normal Spell: Send 4 cards your deck to the graveyard and draw 1 card. Then, return this card to the top of your deck. When you draw this card after it was placed to the top of your deck, it is sent to the Graveyard] from his hand, which allows him to send 4 cards in his deck to the graveyard and draw 1 card.

Lotten notices at this moment that one of the 4 cards sent to the graveyard is Infernity Death Gunman, an envoy of the death god. Then, Kiryu has to return Bullet & Cartridge to the top of this deck. However, if he can draw it again next time, it will go to the graveyard. Lotten observes Kiryu's movement and analyzes the game carefully.

Earlier (episode 91), the effect of Infernity Death Gunman gave him a choice whether to have Kiryu draw a card. If it was a monster card, Lotten would take damage equal to a total of effect damage the was negated and effect damage that was negated in that turn. If it wasn't a monster card, Kiryu would take damage equal to the effect damage he had received in that turn. Nevertheless, Lotten had a choice not to have Kiryu draw, but he couldn't inflict further effect damage in the turn. Kiryu played a mind game, asking what Lotten would do.

Lotten thinks that the effect of Infernity Death Gunman is like an effect of Russian Roulette that bets by life or death. However, it isn't always true if he can read a bullet. Lotten is aware that Bullet & Cartridge now becomes the top card of Kiryu's deck by its own effect. The top card on Kiryu's deck thus is a spell not monster card. Lotten is convinced by that the moment Kiryu activates the monster effect of Infernity Death Gunman in the graveyard will be the time when the death god will go to hell.

Note: Lotten is truly a smart character, but he should have figured out that that Kiryu could read through his own play as well.

EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 2

Yusei tells Kiryu that the key of this duel depends on whether they can beat Longbarrel Orge. Kiryu understands the condition well and resumes the duel. He normal summons a tuner monster [Infernity Reloader - 1/900/0: Once per turn, when your hand is at 0 cards, you can draw 1 card and send it to the graveyard. If that card is a monster card, inflict damage equal to its level x 200 to your opponent's Life Point. If that card is a Spell or Trap card, you take 500 damage points] to the field in attack position. Kiryu tunes Infernity Reloader into 2 Infernity Beetles and Infernity Beast.

"The dead and living! The moment they meet at zero, above the cage of eternity, the demonic dragon comes out! Synchro Summon, come forth, Infernity Death Dragon!," he says and synchro summons [Infernity Death Dragon - 8/3000/2400: Once per turn, when you have 0 card in your hand, you can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls and inflict damage equal to a half of that monster's attack power to your opponent's Life Points. This card cannot declare an attack in the turn this effect is activated] to the field in attack position.

Note: This isn't our wrong translation but it is a true error on anime show. Firstly, Kiryu says to synchro summon "A tuner monster, Infernity Reloader!" despite the fact that Infernity Reloader's card on screen clearly displays that it is an effect monster. Of course, Infernity Reloader is originally an effect monster in both OCG and anime. Nothing can make it become a tuner monster in this case. This is the first error clearly captured.

More importantly, anime presents this synchro summon by 2 tuner monsters, Infernity Beetles, which is totally wrong. The reason why this synchro summon works is because anime treats Infernity Reloader as an effect monster and Infernity Beetle as a tuner monster regardless of what is truly displayed on cards in the show. Nothing could make this synchro summon possible in reality. It's thus an error noted on anime show.

The only possible synchro summon in this case is that Kiryu has to do double synchro summons. He first has to synchro summon 1 Infernity Beetle with other non-tuner monsters (Infernity Beast or Infernity Reloader) to get a synchro monster. Then, he has to use this synchro monster as a non-tuner monster to do the second synchro summon with another tuner monster, the second Infernity Beetle, to be able to call Infernity Death Dragon to the field. The combination of all stars is finally at 8. It doesn't matter how many times you want to do a synchro summon in a turn. The problem is that you can't use 2 tuner monsters in 1 synchro summon.

Yusei is excited that Kiryu's ace monster has finally appeared. Lotten is very stunned by a monster with 3000 ATK. He however is afraid that such a power still isn't enough to pierce through Longbarrel Orge with 3000 DEF. Kiryu understands it well and says that his target is truly at Longbarrel Orge's destruction. The monster effect of Infernity Death Dragon can destroy an opponent's monster and inflict damage equal to a half of that monster's ATK to the opponent's LP.

Yusei is glad that Longbarrel Long can be crushed down by this effect. Kiryu activates the monster effect of Infernity Death Dragon, "Infernity Death Breath!," to destroy Longbarrel Orge as planned. Lotten quickly opens his face-down trap card, [Metal Code - Normal Trap: Equip this card with 1 monster on your field. The Equipped Monster cannot be destroyed by a card's effect. You can send this card from the field to the graveyard and the equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle], which can be equipped with Longbarrel Orge and protects it from being destroyed by card effects.

Longbarrel Orge thus can't be destroyed by the monster effect of Infernity Death Dragon. Infernity Death Dragon can't attack in the turn its effect is activated. Kiryu thus can't do anything else and ends his turn. Lotten asks what's wrong with Kiryu and provokes him by asking whether Kiryu didn't want to defeat him and his Longbarrel Orge. He laughs and calls that he may be a real death god. Yusei stops Lotten by saying that he still exists. He will show that he can defeat Longbarrel Orge. Meanwhile, the red-scarf group is wondering why Yusei hasn't given up yet.

9th Turn - Yusei

Yusei calls for his turn and draws a card. He then summons a tuner monster [Brai Synchron - 4/1500: When this card is sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon, negate the effect of the Synchro Monster and increase its ATK by 600 until the End Phase] to the field in attack position. Yusei tunes Brai Synchron into Justice Bringer.

"Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become a path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Take Flight! Stardust Dragon!," Yusei says and synchro summons [Stardust Dragon - 8/2500/2000: When the effect of an Spell, Trap, or Effect monster is activated, that includes "destroy card(s) on the field", by releasing this card , you can negate the activation and destroy that card. In the End-Phase of a turn you use this effect, if the card is in your graveyard, you can Special Summon it to the field] to the field in attack position.

Next, Yusei activates the monster effect of Brai Synchron used in the synchro summon. It can negate Stardust Dragon's monster effect and increase its ATK by 600 until the end phase. Stardust Dragon's ATK becomes 3100 (2500+600). Kiryu smiles as Stardust Dragon now has higher ATK than Longbarrel Orge's DEF.

Yusei moves to battle phase, declaring an attack of Stardust Dragon, "Shooting Sonic!," toward Longbarrel Orge. Lotten activates the effect of Metal Code currently equipped with Longbarrel Orge. By sending this trap to the cemetery, he can keep Longbarrel Orge from being destroyed by battle.

Note: In the card picture on anime, Metal Code doesn't have this effect described. This effect is added into our card description based on Lotten's dialog and anime duel play.

Yusei won't get Lotten go away easily and opens his last face-down trap card [Synchro Blast - Continuous Trap: When a Synchro monster on your side of the field attacks an opposing monster, inflict 500 points of damage to the opposing player], which can inflict 500 damage to the opponent when a synchro monster attacks. Lotten's LP thus drops to 800 (1300-500).

Duel Paused

Lotten calls that Stardust Dragon's ATK must return to its 2500 original ATK at the end phase. Yusei ends his turn at this point. Lotten is afraid that Yusei still couldn't beat up his Longbarrel Orge as said. Yusei counters by asking whether Lotten's heart beating isn't getting weaker. At this state, he doesn't think it's unusual to say that victory can go to either way.

The game is then stopped when the red-scarf group takes out their guns and aims to Yusei and Kiryu. Barbara can't allow them to do as they wish any longer, so she whips and tries to stop the duel here. Lotten looks stunned and turns to Barbara. Barbara tries to convince Lotten that the winner has already been determined from the beginning.

A black departure asks whether Barbara intends to break the duel, the only thing left in this town. The red-scarf group even aims their guns to the 2 black departures. Barbara argues them that this town is under Lotten's command, so Lotten is the rule of this town. There is no way Yusei and Kiryu could win. Barbara crosses her eyes to Lotten and asks whether he agrees.

Yusei is stunned by Barbara evil act while Lotten says nothing. Barbara asks Yusei and Kiryu to surrender, whips Nico and West, and asks whether they don't care what will happen to them. Kiryu yells and asks Barbara to stop, preparing to surrender. Nico quickly stops Kiryu and begs him to continue fighting. She cries and asks whether Kiryu must keep fighting to show them and people in this town his way of living.

Nico believes that Kiryu isn't a death god. Rather, he is a savior of this town. Hearing so, Kiryu hesitates to surrender and pauses his hand on the gun duel disk. Barbara prepares to whip the kids again and forces Kiryu to surrender. The red-scarf group can't stand anymore. One of them aims his gun to Barbara as he no longer wants to be her pawn. His friend also agrees, and both take off their red scarves. They have decided that their fates belong to their own not anybody else, and their decision is to leave their fates with Kiryu the savior.

Seeing people's movement, Kiryu decides firmly not to surrender. Yusei is glad to Kiryu's decision. People in the town also decide to betray Lotten and Barbara. They all take off their red scarves. Barbara is very mad. Lotten starts moving by firing the 2 men near Barbara by his stunning gun. Barbara is happy that Lotten is by her side.

Yusei and Kiryu are surprised. Kiryu asks whether Lotten could really does this dirty act and how he could call himself a duelist. Lotten smirks, turns to Kiryu, and says that he is a [Realist]. He tells people that Barbara is right. The winner has been determined from the beginning and Yusei and Kiryu have been dead from the start. Both of them had been killed by this town.

Lotten aims his gun toward Kiryu, says, "Adios!," (Farewell), and fires. Suddenly, his gun is hit away by a card, Black Feather - Hurricane Gale. Kiryu and Yusei are surprised by interruption of their familiar friend. Crow appears on a roof and calls himself a bullet backup. He apologizes Yusei for coming for him late. Yusei gives him a thumb back and smiles.

Note: As a reminder, Crow calls himself a bullet. He used to use this calling term once in the final duel against Goodwin (episode 63).

Barbara quickly runs into Nico and West, release them, and pull them away. Kiryu turns to the kids, but Barbara warns him not to come closer. Otherwise, she doesn't guarantee what will happen to him. She grasps the kids by her arms and presses them hard. Kiryu thus can't move further. Suddenly, Jack appears, kicks Barbara's whip away, and pushes her down to the ground. He declares that he can't forgive any lady who does such a cruel thing.

Kiryu is even surprised by seeing Jack. Jack smiles, turns to Yusei, and tells him that Yusei has turned out like this because he has a pest like Kiryu around. He anyway shows his thumb as a sign of relief, and Yusei gives him a thumb back. Kiryu gets very excited to the resurrection of Team Satisfaction. West is very impressed by seeing that the legendary Satisfaction Team has been together again.

As Barbara and Lotten are getting stunned by what's going on, everyone is hearing something coming from the mountain. The security group leaded by Ushio is in charge of the incident, capturing the remaining red-scarf people and releasing the workers there. Lotten realizes that it's over, so he takes out a bomb remote control and presses it. The bombs set-up inside the buildings in the town explode, causing a lot of smoke everywhere.

Barbara calls Lotten and hopes to depend on him. However, Lotten sees her in his way and pushes her away. He then gets on his D-Wheel, leaves the town, runs away alone. People are chocking in smoke while Kiryu is trying to protect Nico and West. Kiryu notices Yusei's D-Wheel not too far away. As if Yusei can read Kiryu's mind, he calls Kiryu and tells him to use his D-Wheel to settle this duel down.

Yusei gives Kiryu a thumb and tells him to defeat Lotten in a turn. Kiryu smiles and feels sorry to borrow his D-Wheel. He gets on Yusei's D-Wheel and goes after Lotten quickly. Kiryu chases after Lotten, jumps over his D-Wheel, leaves Yusei's D-Wheel, and pushes him off the D-Wheel against the ground. He surprises Lotten by calling for his turn to resume the game.

Lotten doubts what Kiryu intends to do by coming all his way here for this. Kiryu explains that he just can't have a guy like Lotten to taint a duel any further. He thus intends to fight until the end. It's his will of living. Lotten however thinks that it's so silly. Kiryu gives him an offer that he will let Lotten go if Lotten wins. He won't have the security lay their hands on him. Kiryu asks whether Lotten agrees to this bet.

Lotten thinks about the moment when the game was earlier stopped. The top card in Kiryu's deck is Bullet & Cartridge. Kiryu placed it to the top of his deck by its own effect. Lotten believes that Kiryu will use the monster effect of Infernity Death Gunman in the graveyard. If so, he will win. Thinking like this, Lotten accepts Kiryu's offer and resumes the duel. Both of them stand by. Assumed that the duel is continued from the earlier point, it's the end turn of Yusei's 9th turn. Lotten has 800 LP and Longbarrel Orge on the field while Kiryu has Infernity Death Dragon on the field and Infernity Zero with 2 Death Counters on the field.

10th Turn - Lotten

After Yusei's turn is Lotten's turn, so he draws a card. Without playing a new card, Lotten activates the monster effect of Longbarrel Orge to shoot Infernity Death Dragon and declares, "Great Snipe! First Shot." Infernity Death Dragon is destroyed, and a giant bullet is about to drop over Kiryu and inflict damage equal to a half of Infernity Death Dragon's ATK to Kiryu.

Infernity Death Dragon has 3000 ATK, so its half ATK is 1500, which will be effect damage inflicted. It is sufficient to put the last Death Counter on Infernity Death Zero and take Kiryu's life. Kiryu is looking very clam while the giant bullet is dropping and passing him to hit the front ground. Lotten wonders what's going on. At the same time, a gun of Infernity Death Gunman is aimed to his head again.

As Lotten has expected, Kiryu activates the monster effect of Infernity Climer and Infernity Death Gunman in the graveyard. This is the second Infernity Death Gunman sent to the graveyard by the effect of Bullet & Cartridge (The first one in the graveyard has been removed from play already since the first turn of Lotten). He hopes Lotten has already understood the effect of Infernity Death Gunman well. If Lotten allows him to draw a card and Kiryu gets a monster card, Kiryu will win. However, if it isn't a monster card, Lotten will win. Otherwise, Lotten can have Kiryu pass drawing in exchange of not inflicting further damage in this turn.

Note: The effect damage that Kiryu has just received is 1500 (3000/2). It is negated by the effect of Infernity Death Gunman. Next, if Lotten chooses to have Kiryu draw a card and Kiryu gets a monster card, 1500 damage just negated will be inflicted to Lotten (800 LP) and Kiryu will win. If it isn't a monster card, Kiryu will receive this 1500 effect damage. Another 1 Death Counter will be placed on Infernity Zero (1 counter for each 500 damage) which adds up to 3 Death Counters. Infernity Zero will be destroyed and Lotten will win. Otherwise, Lotten won't allow to inflict further effect damage. In other words, he can't activate the monster effect of Longbarrel Orge, which can be used twice per turn. The game will last longer.

Kiryu has already given Lotten a hint as he said that he activated the monster effect of Infernity Climer. Lotten isn't aware of this new monster's effect, which is a big mistake.

The mind game has returned. Infernity Death Gunman prepares to fire at Lotten's head. Kiryu repeats his words that he has already forgotten how many monster cards he has left in the deck. He asks what Lotten plans to do. Lotten is very convinced by that the top card of Kiryu's deck must be a spell card, Bullet & Cartridge, so he tells Kiryu to draw it. Kiryu thus closes his eyes and draws it.

Infernity Climer
Effect Monster Card

Lotten laughs loudly as he thinks that it must be Bullet & Cartridge. He calls his monster Longbarrel Orge, "Great Snipe!," to inflict 1500 damage to Kiryu. Kiryu surprises Lotten by revealing the drawn card, [Infernity Climer - 3/0/800: When you have no card on your hand, you can remove this card the graveyard and place it to the top of your deck]. Lotten hardly believes it and thinks that this is stupid. Kiryu explains the monster effect of Infernity Climber that when he has 0 card on hand, he can remove it from the graveyard to place it to the top of his deck.

Thus, the top card on his deck is Infernity Climber not Bullet & Cartridge. Lotten is aware that he has already made a mistaking, screaming in the air. The sun is gone from the horizon along with fire sound of Infernity Death Gunman. Because Kiryu didn't draw a monster card, Lotten has to receive 1500 effect damage. His LP finally drops to 0 (800-1500). Lotten is stunned by the play of Kiryu the death god before collapsing to the ground. Kiryu becomes the winner. He takes back his gun duel disk, smiles, and says that he has been satisfied by now.

Duel End

After the explosion, people in the town being to reconstruct the buildings and rebuild the town. Barbara and Lotten are arrested by the security and loaded into a truck. Remaining former red-scarf men ask whether Ushio isn't going to arrest them as well. Ushio answers that he doesn't have a warrant for an arrest for them. Rather, it's more important that they help rebuilding this destroyed town. The group is glad to hear his answer and dismisses to help rebuilding the town.

Note: There is a background song starting from these scenes on to the end of the episode. It is "You say...Ashita E" or "You say...at tomorrow" vocaled by La-Vie, the same vocalist of the opening song. This song is released in the same single album as the opening's. See further details in our opening song page.

On the other side, Yusei, Crow, and Jack are talking to Kiryu staying with Nico and West. Yusei asks whether Kiryu really wants to remain here. Kiryu explains that he would like to accomplish his will of living in this town along with Nico and West. Yusei smiles and doesn't look worried at all about his decision.

Kiryu thanks Yusei for the last chance. If Yusei hadn't come, Kiryu wouldn't have been like this. Both shake their hands as a sign of friendship. Crow feels pity that it isn't a bad idea to revive Satisfaction Team. Jack tells him not to be joking as he has been enough to be with Kiryu. Anyway, it's fun that 4 of them have been together again. Kiryu smiles and raises his thumb to his friends. Yusei, Crow, and Jack also raise their thumbs in response.

Yusei, Crow, and Jack, finally take off and leave the town. Nico and West send them off and say goodbye to them. Kiryu walks into the kids before they all turn to look at the town. He thinks that until he can rebuild this town, he can't be satisfied just yet. People at the town are now changing the town name on a sign. It is now changed to "Satisfaction Town."
