Yusei, Aki, Lua, Luca, Crow, and Jack are running in a parking lot, going after Ghost. A mysterious man appears and says that it's useless to go after Ghost as Yusei is now unable to defeat him until he goes over his limit. Meanwhile, Ghost is defeating the homeless man who intruded into the party. Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity is standing in front of the D-Wheel exploding. Yusei wonders by what limit the man is talking about. The man explains that it's it's the only way to defeat Ghost.
Crow steps forward and asks who the man is and what for he showed up suddenly. Yusei is more interested in details that the man is talking about, asking what he means. The man tells Yusei to follow him. It's faster to have Yusei feel it rather than have him explain. The man plans to tell him a new strategy that they don't know.

Yusei and the mysterious man are leaving the Premium event. Going after the man, Yusei wonders whether there is truly a new strategy to defeat Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity. He reminds himself of his past duel with Ghost when Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity used its monster effect to absorb his Stardust Dragon into itself (episode 66).
Lua, Luca, Aki, Crow, and Jack don't follow Yusei but watch over him at the deck of the event building. Aki turns to Crow and Jack, asking whether it's fine to let Yusei go like that as this may be a trap. Crow accepts that it may be a trop. Aki doesn't understand why they let Yusei go if they think so. Crow explains that Yusei feels something within that man. It's something the D-Wheelers can feel from each other.
Crow's words remind Aki of what Sherry said earlier (episode 72). Sherry said that she knew Yusei well through many turns that have passed. Speed and wind were telling her, shivering heart of Yusei and her heart as well. It's something only those who did a riding duel could understand. Lua then turns to Aki and tells that it's Yusei, so there is nothing to be worried. Aki looks uncertain and says no more, and everyone turns to pay attention to Yusei and the man.
"Show it thoroughly! A duel that can defeat Ghost you are talking about," Jack says as he has expectation from a duel.
Instead of starting with a duel, the man would like to start by testing Yusei and speed up his D-Wheel. Yusei doesn't understand what the man means. Crow doubts whether the man doesn't intend to duel. Yusei thinks that the man would like him to chase up, so he accepts this challenge. He speeds up to catch up the man, but the man also speeds up to get away from him.

Seeing Yusei chasing after the man, Jack wonders what they are doing and whether they don't plan to duel. While chasing up, Yusei realizes that this mysterious D-Wheeler has perfect control over his D-Wheel at this high speed. Aki is very stunned and amazed by their riding. It's as if they are communicating with each other while riding.
Seeing Yusei catching up and moving around, the man boosts up his D-Wheel to get away from him. Crow is surprised by that the man is taking a curve by such a high speed. It's like a challenge to Yusei, and he accepts it. Yusei boosts up his engine, taking a corner by such a high speed as the man. It seems hard to control. Yusei almost loses balance but can still keep himself straight on track. His friends are worried about him. He or she feels relieved after seeing him safe.
The man asks what's wrong with Yusei. He says that if Yusei is afraid of this speed level, he won't be able to defeat his enemy or Ghost. The man again accelerates his engine into incredible speed. Yusei tries to catch him up by the same level. It's so hard that Yusei almost loses his grip. Anyway, he finally makes it through the incredible speed and doesn't lose distance with the man. Lua jumps excitedly that Yusei could make it.

The man sees that Yusei has such a great courage. As promise, he is going to show him a duel to defeat Ghost. The man activates [Speed World 2 - Field Spell: When you play a Magic card other than a Magic card with "Speed Spell" in its name, you receive 2000 points of damage. Both player's, during their Standby Phases, place 1 Speed Counter for themselves on this card. (A maximum of 12 for each player.) By removing a number of Speed Counter placed from your Speed World, you can activate one of following effects: 4: Inflict 800 Damage to your opponent for each "Speed Spell" Card in your hand. 7: Draw 1 card from your deck. 10: Destroy 1 card on the field] as a starting point of the game. Yusei's D-Wheel also turns itself into a standby mode, being ready for a duel.
Once Speed World 2 is activated, surrounding digital signs emerge from road sides. It states, "Duel-Lane 38526-S." Visual wall appears in the middle of the roads along with computer's warning voice that a duel is running, so other vehicles should be aware and proceed to the other ways. The main server begins to identify courses and selects the central course for them. It eventually gives authorization to "Lane 38526-S." A gateway to the identified riding duel driveway is opened. Yusei and the man enter the gate and declare to start a riding duel by saying, "Riding Duel, Acceleration!."
Crow and Jack see that a real game has finally started, and Aki still looks concerned. The man challenge to bring it on and not to hold back. Yusei accepts it and calls for his first turn.

The dark glass special summons a tuner monster [Tech Genus Striker WA-01 ~ TG (Tech Genus) Striker WA-01 - 2/800/0: When your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster. When a Spell or Trap Card you control which targets a Machine-Type monster affects this card, this card's original ATK and DEF are halved. This card can be special summoned when his opponent but he has a monster on the field.
Seeing a Tech Genus Striker monster, Yusei is stunned by a monster he has never seen before. Lua, Luca, Aki, Crow, and Jack are watching over duel details on Crow's Black Bird D-Wheel. Seeing the dark glass summon a tuner monster in an instance, Jack expects the man to play a synchro summon. Meanwhile, Jose and Lucciano are still in a living. A picture on visual screen then changes into Yusei's duel. Lucciano sees that there is a duel coming up, so he and Jose turn to pay attention into it. At the same time, Placido enters the living room after finishing his work with the intruder at the event.
Placido sees Yusei on screen and recognizes him from the duel with Ghost (episode 76). At that time, Yusei defeated Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity by "Shooting Blaster Sonic!" of Savior Star Dragon. Placido recognizes Yusei's name since then.
Still in the main phase of the dark glass, he special summons [Tech Genus Werewolf BW-03 ~ TG (Tech Genus) Warewolf BW-03 - 3/1200/0: When a Level 4 or lower monster is successfully Special Summoned to your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster. When a Spell or Trap Card you control which targets a Machine-Type monster affects this card, this card's original ATK and DEF are halved. When this card is destroyed, you can add 1 card of the same name from your Deck to your hand. You cannot use it this turn] from his hand to the field in attack position. This card can be special summoned when a level 4 or lower monster, which is Tech Genus Striker WA-01, was special summoned to the field.
The dark glass immediately tunes Tech Genus Striker WA-01 into Tech Genus Werewolf BW-03, synchro summoning [Tech Genus Power Gladiator WAX-1000 ~ TG (Tech Genus) Power Gladiator WAX-1000 - 5/2300/1000: During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster. When a Spell or Trap Card you control which targets a Machine-Type monster affects this card, this card's original ATK and DEF are halved. When this card is destroyed, draw 1 card. That card cannot be used this turn] to the field in attack position.

Lua is stunned by seeing a Synchro monster on the field. Yusei doesn't seem to see any effect that changes. Still in the first main phase of the dark glass, he normal summons a tuner monster [Tech Genus Cyber Magician SC-01 ~ TG (Tech Genus) Cyber Magician SC-01 - 1/0/0: If this card is used for a Synchro Summon, you can have the other Synchro Material Monsters be monsters from your hand. This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster. When a Spell or Trap Card you control which targets a Machine-Type monster affects this card, this card's ATK and DEF are halved. When this card is destroyed, you can add 1 card of the same name from your Deck to your hand. You cannot use it this turn] to the field in attack position.
Crow doubts whether the man intends to do 2 synchro summons in a turn. Placido, Jose, and Lucciano observing are also surprised by what the dark glass is doing. The dark glass activates a monster effect of Tech Genus Cyber Magician SC-01. If this monster will be used for a synchro summon, another Synchro Material monster can be a card on hand. Lua looks uncertain to the content about using a Synchro Material monster from hand.
The dark glass tunes Tech Genus Cyber Magician SC-01 on the field with [Tech Genus Rush Rhyno ~ TG (Tech Genus) Rush Rhyno - 4/?/?] on his hand, synchro summoning [Tech Genus Wonder Magician ~ TG (Tech Genus) Wonder Magician - 5/1900] to the field in attack position.

Yusei is stunned by seeing 2 Synchro monster on the field. Luca begins to be worried about Yusei, wondering whether he will be fine. Lua tells her not to be concerned about him as Yusei won't be defeated by such a guy like that.
The dark glass moves into the battle phase, declaring the attack of Tech Genus Power Gladiator WAX-1000 to destroy Trycler. Tech Genus Power Gladiator WAX-1000 has a piercing-damage effect, so Yusei's LP drops to 2000 (4000+300-2300). Yusei's speed is decreasing while his D-Wheel is moving infirmly. Lua cries out loud and calls for him, getting very concerned. Anyway, Yusei manages to come back straight firmly.
The dark glass asks what's wrong with Yusei. There is another strike to come. Yusei activates the monster effect of Trycler. When it's destroyed by battle, [Vehicler - 2/200/200: When this card is destroyed by battle, you can Special Summon 1 "Uncycler" from your hand or Deck] can be special summoned from his deck to the field in defense position.
The dark glass declares the remaining attack of Tech Genus Wonder Magician, "Magician's Sorcery!," to destroy Uncycler. Yusei explains the monster effect of Vehicler. When it is destroyed by battle, he can special summon [Uncycler - 1/100/100] from his deck to the field in defense position. The dark glass ends his turn at this point.
Lua feels relieved that Yusei still has a monster left at the end of the opponent's turn. Aki is stunned as the situation is the same as Yusei's earlier duel. In the 6th turn of Yusei (episode 72) at that time, Yusei activated the monster effect of Turbo Synchron to change its attack target, Fleur de Chevalier, to defense position with 2300 DEF. Sherry didn't understand and asked what Turbo Synchron only with 100 ATK could do against 2300 DEF of her monster. The attack of Turbo Synchron was blocked, and Yusei's LP dropped to 100 (2300+100-2300). Aki observing the duel was worried by that Yusei had only 100 LP left. She asked whether Yusei was aware what he had just done. Anyway, Yusei was smiling and didn't look worried at all.
To think about it now, Aki realizes both Yusei and the dark glass are enjoying the duel. Yusei sees 2 Synchro monsters on the field and wonders whether consecutive attacks are a new way to win Machine Emperor Wisel. He thinks about the monster effect of Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity that could absorb a Synchro monster into itself once per turn. Because of this effect, Stardust Dragon was absorbed (episode 66).
It's true that the effect of Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity can be used only once per turn. If there are 2 Synchro monsters on the field like Tech Genus Wonder Magician and Tech Genus Power Gladiator WAX-1000, although one of them is gone, another remains. Yusei doubts whether this is truly an answer. He is still uncertain to the dark glass' words spoken prior the duel that he wouldn't be able to defeat Ghost at this rate unless he could go beyond his limit. Seeing Yusei doing nothing, the dark glass asks what's wrong with him and calls for his turn.

Speed Spell Card |
Yusei draws a card and gets Speed Spell - Synchro Defuse. In
his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added to both sides following the effect of Speed World 2.
They result in 2 SPCs (1+1) evenly. Yusei activates [Speed Spell - Synchro Defuse ~ Sp - Synchro Defuse - Normal Spell: Activate when you have 2 or more Speed Counters. Until the End Phase, take control of 1 Synchro Monster your opponent controls. It cannot attack], which can be used when there are 2 at least 2 SPCs. He currently has exact 2 SPCs to satisfy the condition.
According to the effect of Speed Spell - Synchro Defuse, until the end phase, he can take control of an opponent's Synchro monster. Crow understands that if this effect is played, the situation will become the same condition as which a Synchro monster was absorbed by Ghost. Meanwhile, Placido, Lucciano, and Jose are paying attention to this play on screen and waiting to see how Yusei's opponent will respond.
Yusei selects to take control Tech Genus Power Gladiator WAX-1000. Lua is glad that Yusei is about to make it. When Tech Genus Power Gladiator WAX-1000 is going to be take, the dark glass boosts up his D-Wheel's speed, amazing everyone very much. Jack wonders what he is planning to do.
"Look, Yusei! This is a new way of fight to defeat Ghost! Accel Synchro!," the dark glass says
Yusei is very stunned after hearing a new way of synchro summon. The top part of the dark glass' D-Wheel begins to shine as he is now under incredible speed in light. Something is about to happen.
