The final duel between the Signers and the Dark Signers has come to the climax. Jack now has 2500 LP left and no monster on the field while Yusei has full 4000 LP and Junk Archer on the field. Crow has 1 LP and hasn't been defeated yet. However, he isn't in the riding duel due to inability to ride. On the other hand, Goodwin has 7900 LP and Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca and Sun Dragon Inti on the field.
The situation appears that Goodwin is winning. Goodwin laughs and notices that the king of the underworld has come nearly to the city's land. It again releases many small mass condors to attack the Signers. Aki and Ruca can't let them interfere the game. They call their Signer's dragons, Black Rose Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon, to destroy the condors by their attacks, "Black Rose Flare!," and "Eternal Sunshine!," respectively.
Goodwin is glad to see that, just a little more, the king of the underworld will arrive the sanctuary. When time comes for him to sacrifice Yusei and friends, the world will fall into darkness. Goodwin plans to start by giving them destruction. Yusei and Jack don't care what is going to happen as they are going to succeed.

The turn is now with Goodwin. In
his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added into everyone's SPC gauges following the effect of Speed World. Jack results in 9 SPCs (8+1), Yusei has 10 SPCs (9+1), and Goodwin has 6 (5+1) SPCs. Yusei sees that Jack's field is widely open, so it seems clear to be Goodwin's target.

Demon's Chain
Trap Card |
At this moment, Jack opens his face-down trap card [Demon's Chain - Continuous Trap: Activate this card by selecting 1 monster your opponent's field. The effect of the selected monster is negated, and it cannot attack or can be used for Release. If your opponent's selected monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, destroy this card. Also, when the Life Points of this card's controller are 1000 or less, destroy this card]. This trap can negate the effect of Sun Dragon Inti and the monster can't attack or can't be used as a tribute. Chain is now wrapped around Sun Dragon Inti to stop its entire movement.
Yusei sees that Jack is doing well. By this, Sun Dragon's direct attack toward Jack has been sealed. Goodwin recalls what Jack said earlier that no matter people are separate, they are not lonely. He thinks that it's wrong.
"People can become lonely easily. That's death. Before people die, they care less about friends or bonds. It's true, of course. It's because they are going to pass away alone," Goodwin tells Yusei and Jack about this thought. He intends to turn Jack to what he was before: despair and loneliness near death.
Goodwin then activates the monster effect of Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca, "Polar Star Obey!," to skip his battle phase to reduce Jack's LP to 1. Jack screams while receiving great impact. In addition to the effect of Demon's Chain, it must be destroyed when his LP is less than 1000. When Demon's Chain is gone from the field, Sun Dragon Inti is freed.
"Then, See it! Feel it! Your approaching death! The king of the underworld, sacrifice Jack Atlus!," Goodwin yells and points to the king of the underworld to target Jack.

The king of the underworld has finally reached the city. City people can spot it, look very frightened by the giant winged-mass monster, and begin to run away. The king of the underworld shots fire from its mouth toward the riding duel field. Aki and Ruca see so tremendous power that their dragons have to dodge it. The fire attacks Jack and Yusei. Jack begins to lose control over his D-Wheel and spins. Goodwin enjoys the scene and asks whether Jack has already felt death and despair.
Jack is trying to hold himself up while saying that he can now feel loneliness and despair because death hasn't come for them yet. When he finishes his words, his D-Wheel crashes. Jack hits the ground and collapses. Yusei passes Jack, calls him, and keeps on the riding duel alone. Jack struggles to get up and says that he would like to leave the rest on Yusei. Although his D-Wheel can't ride along with Yusei, his feeling is always with him. Jack has left a set-up card that hasn't been activated yet. He has 1 LP left, so he hasn't been defeated yet. Like Crow, he just can't continue the riding duel but is still in the game.
Crow agrees with Jack. Even through their LP is only 1, their feelings are high at 1000 points. Everyone now turns to cheer Yusei, the last survivor. Yusei tells them that he has already received everyone's feelings. Despite of approaching death, Goodwin wonders whether Yusei is trying to evade fear just a little. Setting 1 face-down card, he ends his turn.

The turn comes to Yusei. In
his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added into his and Goodwin's SPC gauges following the effect of Speed World. He results in 11 SPCs (9+1) while Goodwin has 7 (6+1) SPCs. After drawing a card, Yusei activates the monster effect of Junk Archer, "Dimension Shoot!," to remove Sun Dragon Inti from play until the end phase. An arrow is shot from Junk Archer toward Sun Dragon Inti.

Temper of Vei=Mase
Trap Card |
At this moment, Goodwin opens his face-down counter trap card [Temper of Vei=Mase ~ Vei=Mase
No Kanshaku: Counter Trap: Activate this card by selecting 1 monster your opponent controls. The the effect of the selected monster is activated, negate the effect and destroy it], which can negate the effect of Junk Archer and destroy it. Still in Yusei's first main phase, without Junk Archer, Yusei summons [Shield Warrior - 3/800/1600: This effect can only be activated during the Damage Calculation by removing this card in your Graveyard from play. The monster you control cannot be destroyed by that battle] to the field in defense position. Setting up 1 face-down card, he ends his turn.
Goodwin laughs at what Yusei said earlier about the feelings received from his friends. It seems to be powerful, but Yusei summons a pathetic defense monster that is meaningless to be against against Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca. He is going to have Yusei taste despair and loneliness
at death where such a bond doesn't exist.

Goodwin calls for his turn and draws a card. In
his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added into his and
Yusei's SPC gauges following the effect of Speed World. He results in
8 SPCs (7+1) while Yusei has 12 (11+1) SPCs at maximum.
Goodwin tells Yusei that he is going to bring him to where
Crow and Jack have been by making his LP to 1 like them.
Goodwin activates the monster effect of
Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca, "Polar Star Obey!," to skip his battle
phase and reduce Yusei's LP to 1. Yusei screams out loud after he receives great impact. Everyone is now worried about him. Unlike Jack and Crow, Yusei doesn't crash and still survives along with his
D-Wheel. When Yusei can continue riding, the duel is
resumed. Because he loses more than 1000 LP in a play, he
has to lose 3 SPCs (3999/1000: remainders are irrelevant)
following the effect of Speed World. His SPCs therefore drop
9 (12-3). Goodwin laughs in pleasure and would like Yusei to taste more despair. By this, the
combined LP for Crow, Jack, and Yusei is 3 (1+1+1).
"Not yet, I haven't been discouraged yet. Because there is hope, I don't despair. Also, the support of that desire is bonds of friendship!," Yusei yells to convince his strong belief. Goodwin is annoyed by that Yusei still keeps
talking those things.

Yusei calls for his turn and draws. In
his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added into his and
Goodwin's SPC gauges following the effect of Speed World. He results in
10 SPCs (9+1) while Goodwin has 9 (8+1) SPCs. Yusei then
activates speed spell card [Speed
Spell - Angel Baton ~ Sp - Angel Baton - Spell: You can
activate this card if you have 2 Speed Counters or more.
Discard 1 card from your hand. Draw 2 cards]. This
card requires at least 2 SPCs to be activated. Yusei
maintains high enough SPCs to satisfy this condition. Speed
Spell - Angel Baton allows him to draw 2 cards from his deck
and discard one of them into the cemetery.
Yusei draws and gets Road Runner and Debris
Dragon. He decides to discard Road Runner into the
graveyard. Next, he summons a tuner monster [Debris
Dragon - 4/1000/2000: When this card is successfully Normal
Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 monster with 500 ATK or
less from your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position. The
effect(s) of the monster Special Summoned this way are
negated. This card can only be used as a Synchro Material
Monster for the Synchro Summon of a Dragon-Type Synchro
Monster; The other Synchro Material Monster(s) for this
Synchro Summon must be of a Level other than 4] onto
the field in attack position.
According to the monster effect of Debris
Dragon, when it is summoned successfully, a monster with 500
ATK or less can be special summoned from the graveyard.
Yusei decides to special summon [Road
Runner - 1/300/300: This card is not destroyed
as a result of battle when this card battles with a monster with an ATK of 1900
or more], which has just sent to the cemetery by the effect of
Speed Spell - Angel Baton, to the field in attack position.
Yusei then tunes Debris Dragon into Road
Runner and Shield Warrior. "Clustering desires will now become bright stars. Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro
Summon! Show yourself, Stardust Dragon!," , he says and synchro summons
[Stardust Dragon - 8/2500/2000: When the effect of an Spell, Trap, or Effect monster is activated, that includes "destroy card(s)
on the field", by releasing this card, you can negate the
activation and destroy that card. In the End-Phase of a turn
you use this effect, if the card is in your graveyard, you
can Special Summon it to the field] onto the field in
attack position.
Note: Debris (Tuner Monster) has 4 stars while
Road Runner and Shield Warrior have 1 and 3 stars
respectively. Their stars are added up to 8 (4+1+3), the star level of
Stardust Dragon (Synchron Monster) exactly.
Goodwin is afraid that Yusei's hope has come this
far enough as the attack power of Stardust Dragon still
seems insufficient against Sun Dragon Inti (3000 ATK). Yusei
argues that, with the bonds of friendship, hope can't be broken. Goodwin doubts what Yusei is talking about. Yusei explains
it by activating the effect of Crow's continuous trap, Black
Feather - Anchor, that Crow has left (He activated it in the 8th turn).
Note: As a reminder, Crow and Jack
are still in the game because they still have 1 LP left.
However, they just can't continue the duel as they have
already collapsed and couldn't continue riding. Without
ability to ride in a riding duel, a D-Wheeler is
disqualified to duel but can still be in the game.
By the effect of Black Feather - Anchor,
Yusei can send it to the graveyard to increase the attack
power of Stardust Dragon by 2500. The attack power of
Stardust Dragon now becomes 5000 (2500+2500), stunning
Goodwin very much. Yusei explains that 2500 bonus points are
the costs of the monster released for the activation of
Black Feather - Anchor. By releasing this trap, 1 synchro
monster's ATK can increased by the ATK of the released
monster. Earlier (episode 63), Crow released Armored Wing with 2500
ATK to activate Black Feather - Anchor. Thus, Armored Wing's
power is now included into Stardust Dragon.
Yusei declares the attack of Stardust
Dragon, "Shooting Sonic!," to destroy Sun Dragon Inti.
This strike decreases Goodwin's LP to 5900 (7900+3000-5000).
Because he loses more than 1000 in a play, he has to lose 2
SPCs (2000/2). His SPCs reduce to 7 (9-2).
Yusei's SPCs |

Goodwin's SPCs |

Goodwin activates the monster effect of Sun
Dragon Inti. When it is destroyed by battle is destroyed,
the attacking monster that destroyed it must be destroyed
and damage equal to the monster's ATK must be inflicted to
the opponent. At this moment, Yusei activates the monster
effect of Stardust, "Victim Sanctuary!," which can be
activated when an effect to destroy a card or itself is
activated. He can release Stardust Dragon to negate the
activation of the effect and destroy that card. Therefore,
the effect of Sun Dragon Inti to destroy Stardust Dragon is
negated and Sun Dragon Inti must be destroyed (Sun Dragon
Inti has already been destroyed by battle anyway). Stardust
Dragon is released and gone from the field.
When a day ends, it turns dark, and a day raises again. Nobody can stop this cycle of mother nature. When Sun Dragon Inti is sent to the
graveyard, Goodwin special summons Moon Dragon Quilla from
the graveyard to the field in attack position. Yusei wonders
whether this play will work this time.

Conquest of High Ruler
Trap Card |
At the same time,
Jack's face-down trap card [Conquest
of High Ruler ~ Hasha No Sekken - Continuous Trap: When a
Synchro Monster on your field destroys your opponent's
Synchro Monster by battle, send this card to the Graveyard
to activate the effect. After you send this card to the
Graveyard, negate the Normal Summon or Special Summon of
your opponent's monster until the End Phase of this turn]
is opened. Jack looks up and smiles for his hidden card. Goodwin becomes surprised by that Yusei is playing Jack's card. Crow is glad that their bonds have already been connected together.
By sending this trap card to the graveyard,
Yusei can negate any normal or special summon of the
opponent until the end phase of this turn. Thus, Moon Dragon
Quilla can't be special summoned and has to return to the
graveyard. At Yusei's end phase, Stardust Dragon earlier
released returns to the field by its own effect. Yusei ends
his turn at this point.
Note: This is a 3-1 duel, so Yusei,
Jack, and Crow all share the same field although they have
separate LP. Thus, their cards can be played to support one
another. Yusei tells Goodwin that as long as their
bonds exist, they are not alone and don't fall into despair,
either. He thinks that Goodwin should be the one who
understands this well. Goodwin asks what Yusei is talking
about. He has already found his way through complete loneliness and perfect despair. It's the way that he can reset the world by being a god beyond humans.
Yusei
asks back whether Goodwin is saying that he has already
forgotten his big brother, Rudger. Goodwin looks stunned by what
Yusei wants to say. Yusei recalls that Goodwin has once gone
against destiny by making a legend of the Daedalus Bridge. He asks whether it isn't because he wanted to succeed his big brother's will. Goodwin recalls when he jumped into the Daedalus
Bridge to make the legend. He tried to reach the sun by his
left arm and called for his dear big brother. It's true as Yusei said that he would like to succeed his big brother's will.
Yusei reminds Goodwin that his left arm
belongs to his brother, Rudger. Goodwin shakes his head and doesn't care what he said. He tells Yusei to look at reality. Yusei now has only 1 LP and the king of the underworld has almost reached this place. When Yusei has no more LP and Crow and Jack can't resume riding, Goodwin is convinced by that the outcome will be his victory.
