As the duel is continued, Goodwin plans to show unexpected regret to everyone. Yusei tells him that their feelings and bonds will surpass destiny. Goodwin argues that, because of this type of thought, they have to be swallowed into destiny and tossed into the battle between the wicked gods and the Crimson Dragon forever. Thus, he can't stay quiet and wants to become a god and create a better world. Yusei yells at Goodwin who has totally got into his god-like type.
Goodwin plans to show Yusei despair by activating the monster effect of Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca. Once per turn, he can skip his battle phase in exchange of reducing an opponent's LP to 1. Jack looks surprised right after hearing that Yusei's LP will become 1 in no time. He doubts what type of this effect is. Goodwin laughs and says that he is going to have Yusei taste impossibility, powerlessness, and despair.
Crow moves up to the front line and is afraid to say that Satellite-grown people like them don't feel such a thing at all. No matter how bitter it is, they cut the wind and run forward. The person who taught this to them is actually the legendary D-Wheeler. Although Crow strongly believes in this legendary man, Goodwin is afraid that the person still couldn't achieve anything. He can say this because he is truly the legendary D-Wheeler.
Crow doesn't think so. The legendary D-Wheeler knew that it might be useless, but he tried to tear up that current state. Crow reveals that their hearts have been struck by the legendary D-Wheeler or Goodwin's feeling at that time. He still seems impressed by what Goodwin did back then although Goodwin is now a different person. Goodwin looks stunned a bit after hearing Crow's feeling for him. Crow further says that, no matter what Goodwin thinks, his spirit has been inherited to him, Yusei, Jack, and other Satellite people. Therefore, it can't be called despair.
Without holding his guard, Crow is suddenly attacked by a condor. He loses control on his D-Wheel, spins forward, and hits nearby flames. Goodwin tells him that, after all, only feelings can't reach anything. He declares that he will tear up the bonds they always talk about and activates the monster effect of Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca toward Yusei.

Life Exchange
Trap Card |
At this moment, Crow who strongly believes in bonds and wants to protect them opens his face-down trap card [Life Exchange - Trap: You can activate this card when Life Points of your opponent are changed by a card's effect. You can change the target of that effect to yourself and apply the proper effects based on increase or decrease Life Points as following. 1) Your Life Points increase: Inflict 1000 Damage Points to your opponent. 2) Your Life Points decrease: Destroy 1 face-up monster your opponent controls].
This card can be changed when life points are changed by a card's effect. Crow is able to change the target of this effect to himself. Goodwin declares to apply the effect of Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca, "Polar Star Obey!," toward Yusei, so the effect of Life Exchange changes the target of the effect from Yusei to Crow.
Yusei looks surprised by what Crow is planning to do. Crow says that he won't let Goodwin hurt Yusei whose existence carries on their bonds. Because of Yusei, their bonds are strengthened. Thus, no matter how much Crow will get hurt, their bonds won't be broken off as long as Yusei exists. Crow's strong will is obvious to protect Yusei who is the center of their bonds. Goodwin has understood his wish clearly and will do as he desires. The monster effect of Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca turns to target Crow instead of Yusei following the effect of Life Exchange. Crow's Black-Bird D-wheel flies off the riding duel lanes after great impact from the effect of Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca. His LP reduces to 1 as he is falling down.
"Goodwin, your legend will be taken...by me Crow the Bullet!," Crow yells out loud while falling down.
Black-Bird D-Wheel then spreads its wings. Crow describes the effect of Life Exchange that if his life points are decreased, 1 monster of the opponent can be destroyed. Goodwin looks very shocked. Crow is aware that he can't select to destroy Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca because it can't be affected by spell or trap card (Anime effect only). Thus, the only target for Crow is Moon Dragon Quilla.
Black-Bird D-Wheel boosts its power to fly up. Crow and his D-Wheel now look like the legendary D-Wheel who tried to fly over the Daedalus Bridge (episode 32). Crow flies his D-Wheel to strike Moon Dragon Quilla by himself. Yusei calls his friend loudly after seeing Crow crashing Moon Dragon Quilla. Goodwin describes the monster effect of Moon Dragon Quilla. When Moon Dragon Quilla is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, Sun Dragon Inti can be special summoned from the graveyard onto the field in attack position. The revival of the Sun Dragon Inti surprises Jack and Yusei very much.

Black Feather - Anchor
Trap Card |
Crow hasn't done his play yet. He releases Armored Wing on his field to activate his face-down trap card [Black Feather - Anchor - Continuous Trap: Release 1 "Black Feather" monster on your field to activate this card. Send this card to the Graveyard, until the End Phase, the attack power of a Synchro Monster that is on your field when this card is activated increases by the attack power of the released "Black Feather" monster]. Crow says that the baton of the legendary's D-Wheel will be passed from him to Jack and Yusei. Their bonds will be linked to connect the Daedalus Bridge. His words are like a farewell message.
Crow tells Jack and Yusei that he wants to leave the rest on them. Jack and Yusei call Crow out loud. Crow manages to fly back to the the riding duel lanes, but he falls off the D-Wheel and collapses to the floor. His game seems to end here. Jack and Yusei try to call Crow who has no response. Goodwin notes that the D-Wheeler who can't run won't have his turn coming for him. He still doesn't believe in such a bond and the legendary D-Wheeler. Setting up 1 face-down card, Goodwin ends his turn.
Crow looks up and notices that his continuous trap, Black Feather - Anchor, is still active. It's a sign for him that their bonds haven't been broken yet. He then passes out while he has 1 LP left, which means that he is still in the game with the face-up continuous trap but can't continue since he can't ride. Yusei calls Crow out loud again after he has already lost one friend in the game.

Jack gets very mad at Goodwin and draws to run his turn. Crow is still in the game with 1 LP left but he no longer participates in the duel because he can't ride. Thus, no turn moves to him as it skips to Jack's turn. In
Jack's standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added into everyone's SPC gauges following the effect of Speed World. Jack and Yusei currently have 8 SPCs (7+1) while Goodwin has 5 (4+1) SPCs.
Jack then summons a tuner monster [Dark Sprocketer 1/400/0: When this card
is sent to the Graveyard to Synchro Summon a Dark Synchro Monster, destroy 1
face-up Magic or Trap card] onto the field in attack position. He immediately tunes Dark Sprocketer into Mad Demon.
"The Ruler's heartbeat will now file through here! Witness its creation-shaking power! Synchro Summon! My soul, Red Demon's Dragon!", Jack says and synchro summons [Red Demon's Dragon - 8/3000/200: When this card attacks a Defense Position monster your
opponent controls, after Damage Calculation, destroy all Defense Position
monster your opponent controls. If this card is face-up during your End-Phase,
destroy all monsters you control that didn't declare an attack this turn except
this card] onto the field in attack position.
Note: Mad Demon and Magic Hole Golem (Non-Tuner Monster) has 4 and 3 stars respectively while Dark Sprocketer (Tuner Monster) has 1 star. Their stars are added up to 8 (4+3+1), the star level of Red Demon's Dragon (Synchro Monster) exactly.
Before Jack's battle, Goodwin reminds him the monster effect of Sun Dragon Inti that if Sun Dragon Inti is destroyed, Jack's attacking monster or Red Demon's Dragon will also be destroyed and Jack has to receive damage equal to the destroyed monster. To respond to this effect, Jack opens his face-down trap card [Half Straight - Trap: Activate this card by selecting 1 monster you control and halving its attack power until your next Standby Phase. When the halved attack power of the selected monster is lower than the monster with the highest attack power on your opponent's field, the selected monster can attack your opponent directly].
Jack explains its effect that he has to halve the attack power of Red Demon's Dragon until his next standby phase. If the halved attack power is lower than the strongest monster on Goodwin's field, Red Demon's Dragon can attack Goodwin directly. The halved attack power of Red Demon's Dragon is 1500 (3000/2), which is lower than the attack power of Sun Dragon Inti (3000 ATK). Thus, Red Demon's Dragon with 1500 ATK is allowed to attack Goodwin directly (Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca has 1 ATK, so Sun Dragon Inti is the strongest monster on Goodwin's field now).
Jack tells Goodwin that he won't lose his way to Sun Dragon Inti and can still attack him. He declares the direct attack of Red Demon's Dragon, "Absolute Power Force!," toward Goodwin. At this moment, Goodwin activates another effect of Sun Dragon Inti. It allows him to reduce the attack power of Sun Dragon Inti to 0 until the end phase. Yusei sees that the effect of Half Straight on Red Demon's Dragon hasn't worked by this. Thus, he can foresee the only remaining target.
Note: Sun dragon Inti has 0 ATK and Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca has 1 ATK. The halved ATK of Red Demon's Dragon (1500 ATK) is higher than Goodwin's monsters. Thus, the effect of Half Straight to allow a direct attack doesn't work.
Red Demon's Dragon can't do a direct attack, and Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca can't be an attack target. Thus, the remaining target is only Sun Dragon Inti. Red Demon's Dragon therefore changes its target to battle Sun Dragon Inti. Jack wonders whether Red Demon's Dragon will be destroyed by Sun Dragon Inti's effect.
Yusei can't let this happen, so he opens his face-down trap card [Forceful Stop ~ Kyousei Shuuryou - Continuous Trap: Send 1 card on your field rather than this card to the Graveyard, you can end the Battle Phase of this turn. This effect can be used only in the Battle Phase]. Yusei tells Jack to use this card. As Jack hesitates to use it, Goodwin interrupts his decision. He asks what Jack is fighting for as he knows that it isn't to discover destiny or oppose gods. As far as Goodwin knows, such a bond doesn't matter to Jack. Yusei quickly tells Jack not to be deceived by those words and encourages him to use the effect of his card, Forceful Stop, to protect Red Demon's Dragon.

Goodwin reminds that Jack has thrown away his Satellite friends for the path of the king. That means Jack has once thrown away the bonds of friendship they are talking about. Goodwin expects to understand well that Jack couldn't become king without loneliness. Yusei argues that Jack still has friends. It isn't loneliness as Goodwin called. Goodwin says that he has faced loneliness and gone against destiny alone. Thus, he thinks that there is no other way but to become a god.
Goodwin notes that this should be the same for Jack who threw away everything and chose a path to become king by loneliness. Being a king is Jack's battle. Goodwin also corrects Yusei that bonds are such a waste as humans are originally lonely. They depend on the others, rely on emotions, disperse responsibility. There is no way to overcome destiny by such a bond like that.
Jack agrees that Goodwin may be true and accepts that he is lonely. Yusei is concerned by that Jack is falling into Goodwin's words. Jack decides to continue the attack of Red Demon's Dragon toward Sun Dragon Inti without using the help from Yusei on Forceful Stop. By this strike, Goodwin's LP decreases to 5400 (6900+0-1500). Goodwin is convinced by that Jack is a lonely king. He will have Jack taste the same pain.
Goodwin activates the monster effect of Sun Dragon Inti. The monster that destroyed it must be destroyed, so Red Demon's Dragon is burnt by the sun light. Also, Jack has to receive the same damage Goodwin has just received. His LP has decreased by the first time to 2500 (4000-1500). Because Goodwin and Jack lose more than 1000 LP by a strike, their SPCs decrease by 1 following the effect of Speed World. Goodwin ends up with 4 SPCs (5-1) and while Jack results in 7 SPCs (8-1) respectively.

Yusei asks why Jack had to do this and reject their bonds. Goodwin activates the monster effect of Sun Dragon Inti. When it is destroyed, Moon Dragon Quilla can be revived from the graveyard onto the field in attack position. Jack now has 3 cards on hand, and they are Snake Mind, Demon's Chain, and Speed Spell - The End of Storm. He sets up Demon's Chain and ends his turn. Goodwin convinces Jack that his mind that Jack ignored his friends and did not rely on bonds is perfectly suit to be king. However, being a king is still useless. Being a god is much better because it can make Goodwin create this world.
"It's a trouble that you have already forgotten one thing. I am not a king," Jack responds to Goodwin and looks very unsatisfied.
"Bonds, Friends, of course, I did throw away those things. Also, I have thrown away my being of a king. But when I threw away everything, I got one small important thing. Because there is such a feeling, I am still here," Jack says and refers to Carly who gave him hope when he lost everything.
Jack feels sorry that he isn't alone as Goodwin said. Without interest, there is still a bunch of noisy people. Jack is talking about Crow and many friends around him. No matter how much he tries to deny them, he seems unable to run away from these bonds. Jack reveals that he has understood this from the love of a lone woman. She is nobody else but Carly whom nobody is aware of.
"Goodwin, people simply can't be lonely easily," Jack yells to conclude his view.
Goodwin feels disappointed to everyone who carries lukewarm conclusion. Thus, they have no choice but engage into this highest battle. Yusei tells him it isn't true, and they will confirm it to Goodwin through this duel.

It's now Yusei's turn and he draws a card. In
his standby phase, 1 Speed Counter is added into everyone's SPC gauges following the effect of Speed World. Jack results in 8 SPCs (7+1), Yusei has 9 SPCs (8+1), and Goodwin has 5 (4+1) SPCs. Yusei plans to have Junk Archer do a direct attack. He activates its monster effect, "Dimension Shoot!," to remove Moon Dragon Quilla from play until the end phase.

Destruction Portion
Trap Card |
Goodwin can't let Yusei succeed this time. He opens his face-down trap card [Destruction Portion - Continuous Trap: Send 1 card on your field rather than this card to the Graveyard, you can end the Battle Phase of this turn. This effect can be used only in the Battle Phase]. This trap allows him to send Moon Dragon Quilla to the cemetery and gain LP equal to its attack power. Moon Dragon Quilla is sent to the graveyard before it is affected by the monster effect of Junk Archer. Goodwin's LP goes up to 7900 (5400+2500). When the moon disappears, the sun rises again. According to the monster effect of Moon Dragon Quilla, Sun Dragon Inti is special summoned from the graveyard to the field in attack position when Moon Dragon Quilla is sent to the cemetery.
Goodwin is aware that the effect of Junk Archer can be used only once per turn. Whatever Yusei is going to do should be useless now. Junk Archer has 2300 ATK while Moon Dragon Quilla has 3000 ATK. Earthbound God, Wiraqocha Rasca is on the field, but it can't be an attack target. There is nothing else Yusei can do, so he ends his turn.
"Friends, bonds, legends, and love, what else can they do? They even can't hurt destiny. Destiny laughs at us and can't be changed. Thus, the only remaining path, I proceed to this path of thorn, the path to become god. I will be entrusted. I will be worshipped. I will make a new world!", Goodwin says.
