EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 1

On a shiny day, Carly is collapsing on a table in her apartment. A phone rings, but she doesn't pick it up. The line goes into voice message system, and there appears her boss on a visual screen leaving her a message. He looks very angry, asking her what happened at Satellite. He gives his last message to her that if she is going to bring an article soon, she will be fired. Carly doesn't seem to listen to her boss' message at all. She has a deep breath and thinks about what happened last night.

Last night after Carly, Jack, and Mikage returned from Satellite, Jack talked to her for the last time. He thanked her for any trouble he had made and also for her care, making Carly looking surprised. Jack told her that he had to go. Carly was about to tell Jack that she would like to go to Satellite with him, but Jack interrupted her by taking her camera from her hand. He took out a memory card off the camera and destroyed it. Jack warned Carly not to get involved into this matter any further. This was the destiny of Signers in which she couldn't handle.

Carly told him that he just wanted to know the truth. Jack turned back and gave her a promise that he would tell her everything when everything was over. He just wanted her to get out off this. Carly tried to stop Jack when he was about to walk away. Jack said that he would like her to be safe. He then walked away with Mikage, leaving Carly standing and crying alone under her glasses.

That's what all happened last night. Carly can't stand Jack leaving from her. She keeps crying heavily and calling for Jack as she would like to know why Jack left her.

Still crying alone, Carly is looking everywhere Jack used to stay in her apartment. The vision of Jack appears at the window, on a sofa, and at a kitchen. Carly gets up quickly, runs into the sofa, and keeps hitting it. She is crying as calling Jack a stupid. Carly has no idea why jack has to go, hoping that Jack has to pay her for all meals he had, for having her special black tea, for embarrassing her to clean a men's cloth. Her heart has already taken away by Jack, so she asks Jack return them all. When Carly can calm herself down, she makes a decision that she shouldn't give up. If she does, she will totally lose a contact with Jack.

On the other side in the base of Dark Signers, Kiryu enters the room where Demak and Rudger are waiting for him. Rudger asks why Kiryu didn't finish off Yusei. Kiryu answers that there is no need to hurry because their group hasn't been all together anyway. He also wants Yusei to taste a living hell. He gave him to sense terror by the power of Earthbound God, so he expects Yusei to fear his power and send his time on this fear of the opponent. It isn't too late for Kiryu to beat Yusei after Yusei has sufficiently tasted the fear. Kiryu explains while chuckling evilly.

In Satellite, Yusei is now looking at his broken D-Wheel parking in a yard. Rally and Blitz are running into him. Rally asks whether Yusei is fine now. Yusei smiles and tells his friend that he feels okay now. He then asks back how they feel. Rally answers that they just had a little fever. Blitz asks Yusei the condition of his D-Wheel. If Yusei needs, they can gather any necessary part for him to fix it. Yusei apologizes everyone for causing them a trouble. Blitz tells Yusei stop acting like this because they are friends. Thus, they don't mind if Yusei asks for anything.

Yusei smiles and thanks his friends. Anyway, he seems concerned about his fear although he can have his D-Wheel fixed. Yusei looks at his trembling hand and thinks about his duel with Kiryu and the moment when the giant hand of Earthbound God, Ccapac Apu was about to crush him down. He had closed his eyes because of fear before he collapsed by the broken of his D-Wheel. That saved him from the strike of the god. However, the giant hand of the Earthbound God is still haunting him. Yusei accepts that he still can't beat this strength of Kiryu.

Jack has finally got his new D-Wheel and suits, currently running it in his mansion at Neo Domino City. He runs for a few laps and stops where Mikage is waiting for him. She asks how Jack feels about the newly improved D-Wheel, [Wheel of Fortune]. Jack replies that he doesn't feel bad about it at all. It is much more powerful than before. Mikage says that although the damage it got from the Fortune Cup may be severe, the director Godwin put more care and modification into this Wheel of Fortune than before.

Jack closes his eyes and thinks that Godwin may know well about the power of the Dark Signers' D-Wheels. It doesn't matter for him now. Once this D-Wheel is ready, he will return to Satellite. Mikage understands that and smiles, making Jack ask her what matters. Her face gets red as she replies that she is just happy to see Jack coming back and trying to walk along the path of the king. Jack tells her that it isn't the path of the king. Such a path has never existed from the beginning. Nevertheless, because there is no such a path, he is going to build a true path for himself by his own hands.

At [Kurumizawa] store in a street of Neo Domino City, Carly is talking to the owner working on a computer and asking whether he has got what she asked for. The store is full of models and toys and Black Magician Girl's posters. It appears that the owner is very attracted to Black Magician Girl. The owner tells Carly what he has found that there were clearly 4 Signers at Duel Fortune Cup, showing their pictures and calling their names on screen.

Those 4 people are Yusei Fudo, Jack Atlus, Ruca, and Aki Izayoi. They all have 4 dragon birthmarks on their arms. Carly understands that the birthmarks of the Dark Signers are all Nazca Lines. She points to the birthmarks of the Signers on screen, asking the owner whether they are a kind of drawing or pattern. The owner is afraid that the pictures of the birthmarks don't match anything in his database.

Carly is afraid that she has no choice but asks those people directly. She knows that she can't now ask Jack or Yusei. She doesn't know the condition of the kid like Ruca now, so the only hope may be with Aki Izayoi of Arcadia Movement. The owner expects Carly to asks about Arcadia Movement, so he has already prepared its information in a book for her. Carly gets happy suddenly as the owner is a true information man for her.

When Carly is about to take the book, the owner takes it back. The owner tells her that it certainly isn't for free. Carly understands well, so she takes out a small figure of Black Magician Girl from her bag. The owner cries out loud as he realizes that it is a rare figure of Black Magician Girl. He agrees with the deal easily, giving the book to Carly in exchange of the figure.

Carly is now checking the data in the book alone in her car. Opening each page, she really isn't familiar with rumors of Arcadia Movement. While she is looking through the book, she comes across a profile of [Misty Lola], a world-class model.

At Arcadia Movement, Yanagi and Himuro find themselves confined in a dark room. Yanagi asks how they get involved with this mess. Himuro explains that it's because they were careless and it was also mistake for them to trust Arcadia Movement. The people here had tried to capture them from the beginning. Yanagi still doesn't understand why it has to be them. Himuro thinks that the true target should be Ruca. Yanagi asks whether this means Arcadia Movement is using the Signers for some plan.

Himuro isn't sure. He knows only that they should be in danger, if those people are after Ruca. It isn't a good idea to stay here longer. Yanagi doubts whether they are going to kill someone. Himuro stops Yanagi from saying further and tells him not to be in panic. They had better think about how to get out of this place now.

At the same time, Rua collapsing and losing his consciousness in the duel with Divine is sleeping in a sealed room. Ruca is looking at him through a glass window from another room. Aki then enters the room where Ruca is. She tells her that Rua's life isn't in danger. Ruca doesn't look satisfied and asks Aki directly why they had to do this. Aki explains that Divine just wants to know whether Rua is qualified for a Psycho Duelist. Ruca tries to explain that Rua is just a normal boy. If people here aim to her, she asks them let Rua go.

Aki clarifies that this place will be their home from now on. Here is the place for people thrown away from a society and parents. Ruca tries to let Aki understand that she and Rua haven't been thrown away by anybody. Aki asks whether Ruca hasn't been aware of herself yet. People will soon and finally fear her abilities, and she will also soon fear the others who are aware of her power. That's why Ruca hasn't desired to leave her house. Ruca turns her face away as trying to say something to argue. Aki also says that she doesn't want to let Ruca be in the same as she did. She doesn't want that to happen again. Finishing her words, Aki leaves the room and lets Ruca be alone with Rua.

Aki walks to meet Divine standing at a corridor. Divine tells her that it's time for the meeting. Aki asks Divine directly what he intends to do with Rua. Divine says that when Rua gains consciousness, he will try to persuade him. If Rua agrees to be with Arcadia Movement, Ruca may understand them. Aki asks Divine not to harm Rua anymore. Divine tells her that he has already understood it. It isn't necessary to do anything like that.

Ruca is still looking at Rua in the room and trying to call Ancient Fairy Dragon in her mind. She tries to ask Ancient Fairy Dragon for help. In another dimension where Ancient Fairy Dragon is sealed in a giant rock, the spirit of Ancient Fairy Dragon appears to talk to her. Ancient Fairy Dragon tells Ruca directly that it can't help her now. The threat of the Dark Signers is getting closer to the eyes. Very soon, its servant named [Regulus] will come for her. It hopes Ruca will join with the servant to set it free.

If Ruca can do so, Ancient Fairy Dragon gives a promise to protect her by its life. The spirit of Ancient Fairy Dragon then disappears, and Ruca now returns to her normal sense. She smiles and says that she has already understood. She will wait for Ancient Fairy Dragon until that time comes.

Carly has come to a reception, asking to meet Misty. However, the reception refuses to do so because she can't introduce Misty to any unexpected guest. Carly tries to convince the reception that she and Misty know each other. If she really knows it, the reception expects her to know Misty's contact. Carly is afraid that she has no idea at all. She can't tell the reception that she met Misty only once at the party.

While Carly is getting worried by how to answer, Misty appears at the reception and calls her. She greets Carly that they haven't met for a while. The reception asks whether Misty really knows Carly. Carly tells Misty that she has come here to ask her for something and had such a hard time to get in. The reception looks mad, seeing Carly selling her in front of Misty. Misty tells the reception, [Keito], that she knows Carly. She then turns and invites Carly to her home. Carly chuckles in front of Keito, makes her look mad, and walks away with Misty.

Carly is now in a luxurious living room of Misty. There is a golden chandelier and a big piano in the room. As Carly is looking amazed, Misty tells to sit wherever she wants. She walks to a sofa area and sees a commercial of Misty on a visual screen on the window. Misty is in such a beautiful red dress for a perfume commercial. Carly tells Misty that it is such a wonderful place while Misty is taking some tea for her.

Misty tells Carly that she is all alone and lives by herself. It doesn't matter what lifestyle a person has. Life should be living with someone a person loves. Misty smiles and asks whether Carly doesn't think so. Carly answers out loud that she understands Misty very well. Misty understands shortly that Carly is in love. Carly's face gets red quickly as she asks how Misty can catch it. Misty says that it's written clearly on her face. Carly gets surprised shortly. While Misty is putting the tea onto a table, Carly remembers that Misty is able to read people from their faces. Misty smiles and clarifies that anybody now can tell merely by looking at Carly's face. Carly gets embarrassed after knowing that.

Misty serves Carly a cup of tea, and Carly thanks her for it. She asks Carly directly what she wants to ask. Carly thinks that it's tough to ask. Recently, she has been investigating the crimson dragon that appeared in the Duel Fortune Cup and ended up with the duelist's name of Aki Izayoi. Seeing the book on Carly's hand along with the introduction, Misty understands that Carly is investigating on Arcadia Movement. Carly says that Misty gets it right. What she has found is that Misty is included in her data. She then hands the book to Misty to take a look. Misty opens the page in the book where her profile is on. She tells Carly that it's as written in the book. The fact is that her brother was killed by Arcadia Movement. Carly looks pretty shocked by this fact.

EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 2

At that night, Carly sneaks into the building of Arcadia Movement by disguising as a janitor. In the previous discussion, Misty told Carly that her brother disappeared when he went to watch a duel at Daimon Area. His whereabouts were unknown, and he was discovered a few days later and barely recognizable. People said that the witch did that to him. Carly asked whether there was no investigation on Aki Izayoi. Misty said that they just had interview on the Arcadia Movement and ended the investigation just like that. Carly thought that it should be a chance for the Public Security Maintenance Bureau to lay into the Arcadia Movement.

Misty gave her opinion that the Arcadia Movement might know weakness of the Public Security Maintenance Bureau. Carly doubted whether the Public Security Maintenance Bureau did have some weakness. Misty had no idea, but that's all she could think of. This made Carly think that the director Godwin might have a terrifying secret. Misty further told Carly that she couldn't forgive the witch. She apologized Carly for talking about this bad thing, but she would like Carly to keep herself away from Arcadia Movement.

Although Misty said so, Carly can't follow her instruction. She thinks that if she gives up her investigation here, she will totally lose her connection with Jack. On the same floor, Divine is talking to Aki in a room. He tells her the future goal of Arcadia Movement that Arcadia Movement won't stop at Neo Domino City but search for members from all over the world. For that purpose, they will use the power of Psycho Duel that Aki made known to people at the Fortune Cup. Thus, Divine expects Aki to appear in the meeting from now on because she will become a symbol of Arcadia Movement.

Aki doubts whether Divine is asking her to be a commercial. Divine walks into her and puts his hand on her shoulder. He thinks that the commercial is bad. He just thinks that Aki will become a modern Jeanne D' Arc who reformed the world. Aki anyway still looks uncertain but doesn't disagree anything with Divine.

Carly in a janitor cloth is now getting lost on the floor. She feels that she is walking around in circle. Then, Divine opens the door of the room in front of her, leaving the room along with Aki. Carly remembers both of them well. To avoid confronting them, she turns back and pretends that she has to go for cleaning. Anyway, Divine stops her and says that he has never seen her before. Carly quickly gives him an excuse that a routine person got sick today, so she is doing the cleaning job for that person. Divine doesn't ask any further and tells her to go back to her hard work. He then walks away with Aki. Carly feels scared but relieved that her identity hasn't been revealed yet. She then looks at the door where Divine and Aki have just left, understanding that this should be Divine's room.

In Divine's room are full of roman statutes. Carly takes off the janitor cloth and searches for information at a bookshelf in the room. Before investigating on Aki Izayoi, she plans to find some evidence about any dirty play of Arcadia Movement. Carly looks through the books on the shelf one by one. When she is about to take out a book, it appears to be a secret switch to open a secret room. The bookshelf moves aside and reveals a small secret working room behind. Carly becomes very surprised by this discovery.

On the other side, Divine is about to get into an elevator with Aki. He seems aware of something, so he tells Aki to go ahead as he is going to examine some rat. Thus, Aki only enters the elevator, and Divine is going back to his room.

Carly is looking through many books in the secret chamber of Divine. After she heard the story of missing people from Misty, she has gathered the list of the missing people. The people in the file book she is looking at now are all whose whereabouts are unknown. This makes her doubt whether Arcadia Movement is involved.

Carly then hits a pile of books. A book is opened, and there she sees a picture of Godwin and his profile. She is very surprised by how the director Godwin's data are here. Suddenly, Divine appears in the room and asks what Carly is doing. Carly quickly gets up as she has already been caught. As Divine has expected, a rat is sneaking into his room. He is walking close to Carly while Carly is stepping aside.

At first Divine thought that Carly was working for Godwin. However, seeing Carly's shocking reaction, he thinks that she isn't. Because Carly has already seen this secret place, Divine is unable to let her go easily. He picks up a duel disk nearby and throws it to Carly. Divine thinks that getting rid of a thief rat isn't fun, so he would like to give her a little hope. Carly gets the duel disk from Divine and understands shortly that Divine wants to settle down this by a duel.

Divine tells her that he will give her a one turn's chance, standing by his duel disk. Seeing Carly's reaction, he asks whether she wants to give up her hope. Things have turned out like this, so Carly has no choice but decides to do it. Since she had to help Jack duel at the hospital (episode 29), she has been studying on a duel very hard. Her face gets red as she is daydreaming. Carly thinks about her dream to graduate as a journalist one day, becomes Jack's married couple duelist, and have a baby with him. Thinking about this future, she accepts Divine's challenge, takes out her deck, and stands by the duel disk. When both are ready, they start a duel.

Telekinetic
Monster Card

1st turn - Divine

The first turn is with Divine. He draws a card, gets [Telekinetic Shocker ~ Teleki Attacker - 4/1700/700: If a Psychic-Type monster would be destroyed, you can pay 500 Life Points and destroy this card instead], and summons it onto the field in attack position. The rule doesn't allow him to attack in the first turn, so he ends his turn at this point. Divine calls Carly for her turn and hopes that she will make him have fun by the last turn she has left.

2nd turn - Carly

Carly draws and gets Fortune Telling Witch Chiichan. Her deck is a Fortune Telling Witch deck, so a monster all has fortune description. Fortune Telling Witch Chiichan doesn't seem to be a good luck for her. Carly reads the fortune on the card, "By drawing this, you're in a Super Pinch". She thinks that this is the worst fortune. Seeing Divine a Psycho Duelist, Carly remembers a rumor that damage will be inflicted. Although this may be the worst fortune for her, she thinks that she has no choice but makes it.

Carly summons [Fortune Telling Witch Suichan ~ Uranai Majyo Suichan - 4/0/0] onto the field in attack position following by playing a quick-play spell [Unacceptable Results ~ Ukeiregataikekka - Quick Play spell: You can activate this when a monster with "Fortune Telling Witch" in its name is successfully summoned. You can Special Summon 1 monster with "Fortune Telling Witch" in its name in your hand].

Spell Card

By the effect of this spell, when a Fortune Telling Witch is summoned successfully, Carly is able to special summon a Fortune Telling Witch from her hand. She therefore special summons [Fortune Telling Witch Chiichan ~ Uranai Majyo Chiichan - 6/0/0] from her hand onto the field in attack position.

Carly next activates [Advance Fortune Loan ~ Kouun No Maegari - Spell: Select 1 monster with "Fortune Telling Witch" in its name on your side of the field. You can Special Summon 1 monster with "Fortune Telling Witch" with a Level 1 lower than the selected monster from your hand] from her hand. According to its effect, she can select a Fortune Telling Witch monster on the field and special summon a Fortune Telling Witch monster with a level lower than the selected monster's by 1. Fortune Telling Witch Suichan has level 4 while Fortune Telling Witch Chiichan has level 6. Carly selects Fortune Telling Witch Suichan with level 4 and special summons a Fortune Telling Witch monster with level 3 (4-1) or [Fortune Telling Witch Fuchan ~ Uranai Majyo Fuchan - 3/0/0] from her hand onto the field in attack position.

Good-Fortune Miracle Stone
Spell Card

Seeing all monsters with 0 attack point, Divine looks disappointed and thinks that a rat-grade lady like Carly doesn't seem to understand his pity for her at all. Carly responds that Divine is very annoyed and she is going to put his face on tears. She then activates a permanent spell card [Good-Fortune Miracle Stone ~ Kaiun Miracle Stone - Permanent Spell: The attack power of all monsters on the field with "Fortune Telling Witch" in their name on your side of the field is increased by the number of those monsters on the field x1000 points. The monsters with "Fortune Telling Witch" in their names with their attack powers increased by this card's effect cannot attack during the turn Summoned, Reverse Summoned, or Special Summoned].

This spell card can increase the attack points of all Fortune Telling Witch monsters on the field by 1000 for each Fortune Telling Witch monster on the field. There are 3 Fortune Telling Witch monsters on the field, so the attack power of Fortune Telling Witch Suichan, Fortune Telling Witch Chiichan, and Fortune Telling Witch Fuchan becomes 3000 (3*1000) individually. However, the monsters whose attack power is increased by this effect can't attack in this turn, so Carly ends her turn at this point. Divine has just understood Carly's plan and felt that he's encouraged a little bit.

3rd turn - Divine

The turn is back to Divine. He draws a card and summons [Psycho Warld ~ Psychic Snail - 4/1900/1200: You can pay 800 Life Points and select 1 other face-up Psychic-Type monster you control. That monster can attack twice during each Battle Phase. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect] onto the field in attack position.

Next, Divine plays a spell card [Emergency Teleport ~ Kinkyuu Teleport - Quick Play Spell: Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower Psychic-Type monster from your hand or Deck. During the End Phase this turn, remove from play that monster] that allows him to special summon a Psychic monster with level 3 or lower from his hand or deck. Thus, he special summons [Psychic Commander ~ Psycho Commander - 3/1400/800: When a Psychic-Type monster you control battles, during the Damage Step you can pay Life Points in multiples of 100 (max. 500) to have the monster it's battling lose that much ATK and DEF, until the End Phase] onto the field in attack position.

Carly sees 3 monsters on Divine's field, but all of them have lower attack power than her monsters'. Divine tells her that it's naive to think that she has impregnable defense. He activates [Psychokinesis ~ Saikoshiki Nendou - Spell: Activate only while you control a face-up Psychic-Type monster. Destroy 1 card on the field and take 1000 damage] from his hand.

Emergency Teleport
Spell Card
Psychokinesis
Spell Card

This spell card can be played when there is a Psychic monster on the field. It can destroy 1 card on the field and inflict 1000 damage points. The card Divine wants to destroy is certainly Good-Fortune Miracle Stone. Without Good-Fortune Miracle Stone, all Fortune Telling Witch monsters' attack power turns back to its original 0 attack point.

As Carly is getting surprised, Divine declares the first attack of Telekinetic to destroy Fortune Telling Witch Fuchan. The attack passes through Carly and hits her against the glass window. Her glass is broken and dropped onto the floor, and her LP goes down to 2300 (4000+0-1700). Carly looks surprised and confused by this actual impact.

Divine explains her that this is the force from the Psycho duel, and she had better prepare to taste it. He continues by the attack of Psycho Warld to destroy Fortune Telling Witch Suichan. The strike passes through Carly and shocks her, making her LP down to 400 (2300+0-1900). The glass behind her cracks even more and is about to break.

Carly tells Divine that if he continues doing this, the security may come to investigate. Divine tells her not to be worried because her case will be just a mere death by accident. The Public Security Maintenance Bureau won't touch Arcadia Movement because he knows a weakness of the director Godwin. In the city, Godwin is known to build Satellite, but that is totally a lie. The truth is that when Satellite was created, he was captive at Satellite. Easy to say, the director Godwin is a truly Satellite resident born there.

Carly hardly believes this fact. Divine tells her the truth because he has no intention to spare her life. Saying a farewell to her, he declares the last attack of Psychic Commander to destroy Fortune Telling Witch Chiichan. The strike reduces Carly's LP to 0 (400+0-1400) and finally breaks the glass window behind her. Carly is falling from the high building to hit the ground and screaming. Her body is falling pass a commercial of Misty on a big visual screen. At this moment, she has just remembered the fortune Misty used to give her that she saw a shadow of death in her (episode 29). Carly doesn't want to believe that this fortune will come true.
