EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 1

As the duel between Aki and Yusei is continued, Yusei is aware of that Aki actually enjoys her power of destruction very much. He can feel it because he saw her smiling when he was captured in pain. Aki looks surprised as if she doesn't believe what Yusei comments about her behavior. In the mid of duel, Yusei has 1500 LP left and Shield Warrior (DEF 1500) on the field. On the other side, Aki has full 4000 LP and Rose Tentacles (ATK 2200).

7th Turn - Aki

It's now Aki's turn as Yusei just summoned Shield Warrior in defense position in the 6th turn and didn't do anything else. Aki draws and activates a permanent spell [Ivy Shackle - Permanent Spell: As long as this card is on the field, all face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field become Plant-types during your turn only. When this card face-up on your side of the field is sent to the Cemetery by an opponent's effect, draw 1 card from your deck]. This spell can change all monsters on Yusei's field to a Plant-Type monster. Thus, a lot of ivy emerges from the ground and binds the body of Shield Warrior, turning it from a Warrior-Type to a Plant-Type monster.

Next, Aki activates the monster effect of Rose Tentacles. At the beginning of her battle phase, she can increase a number of attacks by 1 for each Plant-Type monster on Yusei's field. Shield Warrior is now a Plant-Type monster by Ivy Shackle's effect, so Rose Tentacles can have 1 more attack or 2 attacks in total in this turn.

Aki declares the attack of Rose Tentacles, "Thorn Whip!", to destroy Shield Warrior. Shield Warrior is in defense position, so Yusei doesn't lose any LP by this attack. A gust wind is meanwhile created after the strike, impacting the audiences on stages. Aki then activates another monster effect of Rose Tentacles. When a Plant-Type monster is destroyed in battle, 300 damage points are inflicted to the opponent. Shield Warrior had a Plant type at the time it was destroyed, so Yusei receives 300 direct damage points. A thorn whips him at his back, and his LP decreases to 1200 (1500-300).

Aki is smiling while seeing Yusei suffering. Yusei asks whether he is right that Aki seems to like her power of destruction. Aki looks surprised a bit as if she hasn't been aware of herself. She doesn't give any answer and keeps on the second attack of Rose Tentacles toward Yusei directly.

At this moment, Yusei opens his face-down trap card [Card Defense - Trap: Activate by sending 1 card in your hand to the Cemetery. Negate 1 opposing monster's direct attack and draw 1 card from your deck]. According to its effect, he discards a card on hand, Equip Shoot, to the cemetery to negate a direct attack and allow him to draw a card afterward. Thus, the second and direct attack of Rose Tentacles is negated before Yusei draws a card. Aki declares to end her turn. Yusei is very convinced by that Aki is satisfied when she inflicts pain to people. Aki doesn't accept it and tells Yusei to stop talking about nonsense things.

8th Turn - Yusei

The turn comes to Yusei. He draws and gets Junk attack. He then summons a Tuner monster, [Junk Synchron - 3/1300/500: When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower monster in your Graveyard in face-up defense mode. Any effects of an Effect Monster Special Summoned by this effect are negated] onto the field in attack position. Its monster effect allows Yusei to special summon Speed Warrior from the cemetery onto the field in defense position.

Yusei tunes Junk Synchron into Speed Warrior, declaring a "Synchro Summon!" and calling out [Junk Warrior - 5/2300/1300: When this card is Synchro Summoned, this card's attack power is increased by the total of the attack power of all Level 2 or lower monsters face-up on your side of the field] onto the field in attack position.

Junk Attack
Spell Card

Yusei next equips [Junk Attack - Equipment Spell: When the equipped monster destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Cemetery, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to a half of attack power of the destroyed monster] with Junk Warrior before declaring its attack, "Scrap Fist!", to destroy Rose Tentacles. This strike reduces Aki's LP to 3900 (4000+2200-2300). Yusei activates the effect of Junk Attack at this moment. When Junk Warrior equipped with it can destroy a monster and send it to the cemetery, damage equal to a half of the destroyed monster's ATK is inflicted to the opponent.

Rose Tentacles has 2200 ATK, so Aki has to receive additional 1100 (2200/2) damage points. Her LP further decreases to 2800 (3900-1100). Yusei ends his turn at this point. MC describes excitedly that Aki has got critical damage. This is similar to the final match as nothing can now be predicted what will happen. The audiences don't seem to like her at all and all cheer the witch to be beaten. Meanwhile, Rua and Tempei are impressed by that Yusei could inflict damage by a hit until Aki's LP is down to 2000 range. As Yanagi and Himuro are also glad with Yusei's fight, only Ruca is thinking differently. She can feel that Yusei isn't just fighting but trying to do something for Aki.

9th Turn - Aki

The turn is back to Aki. She draws a card and gets Copy Plant. At this moment, Aki activates the permanent effect of Ivy Shackle, changing Junk Warrior from a Warrior type to a Plant type. Next, she summons a tuner monster [Copy Plant - 1/0/0: Select 1 monster face-up on your opponent's side of the field to activate. Until the End Phase of this turn, this card will have the same level as the selected monster. This effect can only be used once per turn] onto the field in defense position.

The monster effect of Copy Plant allows it to have the same level as the level of a monster on Yusei's field. Yusei looks concerned as he is aware of what's coming. Junk Warrior has level 5, so Copy Plant has the same level 5. Yanagi however looks confused by what Aki intends to do by just copying a level. Rua and Tempei think that it should be very clear enough without explanation (Playing with levels means playing synchro monsters).

Now, Aki activates the monster effect of Dark Verdure in her cemetery. When a Plant-Type monster is summoned, Dark Verdure can be special summoned from the cemetery. Because Copy Plant has just been summoned successfully in this turn, Dark Verdure with level 5 is called back from the graveyard onto the field in attack position. Seeing that the combined level of Copy Plant (LV 5) and Dark Verdure (LV 2) is now 7 (5+2), Himuro can see that Aki's ace dragon is coming. Even Yusei is clearly aware of it.

Aki tunes Copy Plant into Dark Verdure. "Chilling flames engulf the entire world. Pitch-dark flower, set into bloom!", she says as declaring, "Synchro Summon!", calling [Black Rose Dragon - 7/2400/1800: When this card is Synchro Summoned successfully, you can destroy all cards on the field. Once per turn, by removing from play 1 Plant-Type monster in your Graveyard, the ATK of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls becomes 0 until the End Phase of this turn] onto the field in attack position.

Note: A Synchro Summon is a new combination between a Tuner and non-Tuner monster. In order to perform a Synchro Summon, the levels of the Tuner and non-Tuner monsters must add up to be the exact level of the desired Synchro monster (no more, no less). Once that is satisfied, the two monsters are sent to the Cemetery, and the Synchro monster can be summoned from the Extra Deck. In this case, Copy Plant (Tuner Monster) has 5 stars by the additional stars from its own monster effect while Dark Verdure (Non-Tuner Monster) has 2 stars. Their stars are added up to 7 (5+2), the star level of Black Rose Dragon (Synchron Monster) exactly.

Once Black Rose Dragon is summoned, the dragon's birthmark on Yusei's right arm begins to glow. Aki activates the monster effect of Black Rose Dragon, "Rose Restriction!", removing a Plant-Type monster, Ivy Wall in this case, in the cemetery from play to reduce ATK of Junk Warrior to 0 until the end of this turn. When ATK of Junk Warrior becomes 0, Aki declares the attack of Black Rose Dragon, "Black Rose Flare!", toward it immediately.

Spirit Force
Spell Card

Yusei quickly activates the monster effect of Shield Warrior in his graveyard. By removing it in the cemetery from play, he can negate the destruction of Junk Warrior. Nevertheless, Aki notes that Yusei still has to receive damage calculation. For that matter, Yusei opens his face-down trap card [Spirit Force - Trap: You can activate this card during Battle Damage Calculations on your opponent's turn. Reduce all Battle Damage to you caused by that battle to 0. Then, you can add 1 Warrior-type Tuner with a defense power of 1500 or lower in your Cemetery into your hand].

This trap card can be activated only in the damage calculation phase of the opponent's turn. It can reduce Yusei's battle damage to 0, so the attack of Black Rose Dragon is reflected. Spirit Force is shielding Yusei and reflecting the strike of Black Rose Dragon to the audiences' stands. The strike causes actual damage to the stands while people are screaming and running away. Yusei is more concerned by that people may get hurt. He activates the remaining effect of Spirit Force, adding a Warrior-Type monster with defense power of 1500 or less from his cemetery onto his hand. Yusei selects to add Junk Warrior. Aki sets up 2 face-down cards and ends her turn at this point.

The attack of Black Rose Dragon causes the actual damage and scares people. The audiences scream and begin to hate Aki even more. They call her an evil witch, trying to chase her out. Nobody appears to cheer her but want her to be crushed down and beaten. Aki keeps listening to the bad cheer. She accepts that she is a witch and also a fearful woman who likes inflicting pain and enjoying it.

Yusei doesn't say anything but considers Aki's act along with her words. Aki. Aki says that it's truly fun for her to inflict pain by her power to people driving her into loneliness. Although she is saying that it's fun, Yusei isn't convinced by whether she is enjoying it. Aki's eyes turn big and look evil. However, Yusei can sense that something isn't right.

10th Turn - Yusei

The turn moves back to Yusei. Drawing a card, he gets Prevent Star. It is an equipment card for a monster to put into defense position. Yusei decides to summon Junk Synchron earlier added back onto his hand by the effect of Spirit Force onto the field again in attack position. By the monster effect of Junk Synchron, Speed Warrior is special summoned from the cemetery onto the field in defense position.

Rua is glad to see that, by Junk Warrior's monster effect, the ATK of Speed Warrior can be added to Junk Warrior. The total ATK of Junk Warrior therefore becomes 3200 (2300+900). Tempei calls it the power of fellows. Yusei looks at Stardust Dragon on his hand and hopes that it will give him power. He decides to tune Junk Synchron into Junk Warrior.

"Clustering hopes will become a new shining star and become the path its light shines upon!", Yusei says before declaring "Synchro Summon" to call [Stardust Dragon - 8/2500/2000: When the effect of an Spell, Trap, or Effect monster is activated, that includes "destroy card(s) on the field", by releasing this card , you can negate the activation and destroy that card. In the End-Phase of a turn you use this effect, if the card is in your graveyard, you can Special Summon it to the field] onto the field in attack position.

In this case, Junk Synchron (Tuner Monster) has 3 stars by while Junk Warrior (Non-Tuner Monster) has 5 stars. Their stars are added up to 8 (3+5), the star level of Stardust Dragon (Synchron Monster) exactly.

MC is surprised as describing that he has never seen the appearance of this dragon before. Yusei has just played it in this match by the first time. At first, he planned to use it only with Jack but he changed his mind because he would like to use it help Aki. Yanagi is also amazed by Yusei's dragon also called Signer's dragon. Rua doesn't understand Yusei's game plan at all. It's clear to him that Junk Warrior has 3200 ATK with 900 ATK added from Speed Warrior, which is higher than Stardust Dragon's. However, Yusei decided to call out Stardust Dragon with lower ATK. Ruca thinks that Yusei is planning to do something in this duel.

While the other audiences are stunned by the confrontation of both dragons, Jack also seems not to understand Yusei's play. Godwin doesn't seem to care what Yusei's plan is. He is glad to see both wonderful monsters and their confrontation on the field. Divine watching on a side is also amazed by Yusei's dragon. Black Rose Dragon and Stardust Dragon are now roaring at each other when their battle is about to begin.

EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 2

As the two dragons are facing each other, Aki is holding her right arm. She expresses her feeling that she hates this abominable mark very much. Her life should be much different without it. Yusei understands that Aki actually never likes her power or enjoy people's pain, either. Aki explains that this is a wretched mark stamped into a beast transcending people. It's the reason why she hates herself. In her past, she felt that she had to life with uncontrollable affinity with destruction. The more she appealed, the more it transformed into impulses of destruction. When she was a kid or at school, people were scared of her destruction power. Thus, she decided to stop being her true self and create another self.

It's time when Aki decided to put on a mask and became Black Rose Witch. It's another self of her personality (If she can't control it, she just lets it free). Aki has freed herself through the appearance of Black Rose Witch and dueled street people since then. In Black Rose Witch's form, she didn't care about enjoying destruction or laughing at pain. She could be whatever she wanted. At that time, Divine appeared in front of Black Rose Witch. He took off her mask and told her that she didn't need the mask and could be fine with how she was. His words did save Aki and guided her that she just needed to live, thought of nothing, and just felt it (pain).

At this moment, Yusei tries to convince Aki to think about her true self. Aki denies as she claims that Divine will think for her. She doesn't have to think about anything but feels pain and lives with destruction. Yusei has been able to read Aki's game by now. He tells her not to run away from the truth. Aki doesn't want to face Yusei and keeps saying that she can't do anything (Divine has to do everything for her). Yusei argues her that she can. He can feel that her true self who denies that negative pleasure is still inside her. As long as she has this feeling remaining, she can start over and save herself. Aki still turns her face away and doesn't want to see the truth. She tells Yusei to shut up as she no longer wants to hear his words. Yusei thinks that he will have to reach Aki's heart by this duel.

Aki What an abominable mark! I hate this mark. If I just didn't have this power, I...
Yusei You don't enjoy your power and aren't please with people's pain, either.
Aki That's right. This is an abominable mark stamped into a beast transcending people. So I hate myself. I felt that I had to live with uncontrollable affinity with destruction. But the more I appealed, the more it kept transforming into impulses of destruction. And I stopped being myself and created another self. Myself in the mask isn't me. I didn't care about enjoying destruction or laughing at pain. At that time, Divine told me I didn't need the mask and I can be fine just how I am. I was saved by those words. It's good enough if I just live, think about nothing, and just feel it.
Yusei Think about it, your true self!
Aki It doesn't matter. Divine will think for me.
Yusei Don't run away, Izayoi!
Aki I can't. I can't do anything.
Yusei You can! The one who denies that pleasure is still inside you. As long as you have that feeling, you can start over. You can save yourself!
Aki Shut up!
Yusei (I will reach it! By this duel to her heart)

Yusei continues the duel by declaring the attack of Stardust Dragon, "Shooting Sonic!", toward Black Rose Dragon. At this moment, the dragon's birthmarks on his, Aki's, Ruca's, and Jack's are all beating together. Godwin crosses his eyes to Jack as knowing well what's is happening. Shooting Sonic of Stardust Dragon successfully destroys Black Rose Dragon. This strike reduces Aki's LP to 2700 (2800+2400-2500). Yusei's turn is ended at this point.

Aki reminds herself of what Divine told her that she didn't have to do anything but felt pain and suffering. To do so, she decides to take out her mask, puts it on, and becomes Black Rose Witch. The audiences are all stunned by her witch identity. Divine watching over Aki thinks that she is such a naughty girl. Yusei realizes that she now becomes a cold witch.

11th Turn - Aki

Aki calls for her turn by such a cold voice. Drawing a card, she activates a spell card [Magic Planter - Spell: Send 1 Permanent Magic card on the field to the Cemetery. Then, draw 2 cards from your deck]. By sending a permanent spell, Ivy Shackle, on the field to the cemetery, she can draw 2 cards.

Aki next opens her face-down trap card [Wicked Reborn - Permanent Trap: Activate by paying 800 Life Points. Select 1 Synchro Monster in your Cemetery and Special Summon it in attack mode. This card becomes an Equip Card on the Special Summoned Synchro Monster. The equipped monster cannot attack on the turn in which it was Special Summoned by this card's effect. When this card is no longer on the field, destroy that Synchro Monster. When the equipped monster is destroyed by an effect other than this card's effect, Special Summon that Synchro Monster during the End Phase of that turn].

Magic Planter
Spell Card
Wicked Reborn
Trap Card

Aki has to pay 800 LP to play this trap card, so her LP goes down to 1900 (2700-800). It allows her to special summon a Synchro monster in the cemetery onto the field. She certainly revives Black Rose Dragon onto the field in attack position. In addition to the effect of Wicked Reborn, Black Rose Dragon has to be equipped with it and can't attack in this turn. If Wicked Reborn doesn't exist on the field, Black Rose Dragon will be destroyed. Also, if Black Rose Dragon is destroyed by an effect rather than this card's effect, it can be special summoned onto the field in the end phase.

Aki doesn't plan to let Black Rose Dragon attack but plays its monster effect, "Black Rose Gale!". When Black Rose Dragon is special summoned onto the field successfully, it can destroy all monsters on the field. Aki feels hurt at her beating birthmark on the right arm very much while Black Rose Dragon is creating strong gust of wind around the stadium. Himuro sees that the strong wind is coming. Yanagi tells everyone to prepare and hold on.

Note: The actual effect of Black Rose Dragon states that the effect to destroy all cards on the field can be used only when it is synchro summoned successfully. Synchro summon is considered a special summon, so the effect can be applicable in this case.

Yusei sees that the actual damage of Black Rose Dragon may cause more impact to the audiences, so he decides to activate the monster effect of Stardust Dragon, "Victim Sanctuary!". When it is about to be destroyed by an effect, he can release it to destroy the card that activates this effect. Yusei decides to release or sacrifice Stardust Dragon to protect the audiences. Stardust Dragon approaches Black Rose Dragon, stops its Black Rose Gale, and turns into particles of stardust along with it. Both dragons are gone together. Jack sees that Yusei has never changed (He always sacrifices himself for people).

Still in Aki's first main phase, she summons [Phoenixican Seed - 2/800/0: By sending this card face-up on your side of the field to the Cemetery, Special Summon 1 "Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis" from your hand] onto the field in attack position. According to its monster effect, she can send it to the cemetery to special summon [Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis - 8/2200/0: If this card attacks, this card is destroyed after Damage Calculation has ended. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Cemetery, inflict 800 points of damage to the opposing player. During the End Phase of your turn, if this card is in your Cemetery, you can Special Summon this card in defense mode] onto the field in attack position.

In the battle phase, Aki declares the attack of Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis, "Flame Petal!", to destroy Speed Warrior. Speed Warrior is in defense position, so Yusei doesn't lose any LP by this battle. Aki activates the monster effect of Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis, "Scatter Flame!", at this moment. It has to be destroyed after the attack and inflicts 800 damage points to Yusei. This makes Yusei's LP decrease to 400 (1200-800).

The strong wind cracks and destroys a part of Aki's mask. There appears her mouth smiling inside. After she sets up a face-down card, Yusei activates the special effect of Stardust Dragon. It can be revived onto the field in the end phase of the turn it was released. Yusei calls it back onto the field in attack position. Similarly, Aki explains the permanent effect of Wicked Reborn to special summon Black Rose Dragon onto the field in her end phase and equips it with Wicked Reborn again.

Over Dead Line
Trap Card

Aki opens one of her face-down trap cards [Over Dead Line - Permanent Trap: As long as this card is face-up on the field, a monster on your side of the field that was Special Summoned from the Cemetery has its attack power increased by 1000 points. This card is destroyed during the End Phase of this card's controller's second turn after this card's activation]. It can increase the ATK of a monster special summoned from the cemetery by 1000 points. Black Rose Dragon has just been special summoned by the effect of Wicked Reborn, so its ATK becomes 3400 (2400+1000).

In addition to the monster effect of Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis, it is special summoned onto the field in defense position in the end phase. Aki ends her turn at this point.

Note: The monster effect of Stardust Dragon negates the effect of and destroys Black Rose Dragon. Thus, the monster effect of Black Rose Dragon to destroy all cards on the field doesn't impact or destroy Over Dead Line that Aki has faced down.

12th Turn - Yusei

The turn comes to Yusei. He draws and gets Cosmic Blast. It can be played when a Synchro monster is removed from the field to inflict damage points equal to the ATK of the removed monster to the opponent. Changing Stardust Dragon to defense position, Yusei plays a spell card [Prevent Star - Equipment Spell: In the turn in which the battle mode of a monster in face-up attack mode on your side of the field is switched to defense mode, you can only equip this card to that monster. Select 1 monster on your opponent's field. That monster cannot switch battle modes or attack. When this card is sent to the Cemetery via the equipped monster being destroyed, remove the selected opposing monster from the game].

It can be equipped with a defense monster or Stardust Dragon. In addition, Yusei can select a monster on Aki's field, and that monster's battle mode can't be changed and it can't attack, either. He selects Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis. Himuro sees that Yusei has just done a nice play. By this, Yusei is able to seal the monster effect of Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis to inflict 800 damage points to him and make him defeated right away in the next turn.

Note: Yusei has only 400 LP left. Aki can let Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis attack in the next turn. It doesn't matter whether it can destroy a monster or whether Yusei will get battle damage from this strike. Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis still has to be sent to the cemetery after the attack as a result of its own monster effect. Its monster effect then can inflict 800 damage points to Yusei directly. With only 400 LP left, Yusei will be defeated immediately. Thus, by playing Prevent Star, Yusei is able to protect Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis from attacking or changing its battle position in the next turn.

At this moment, Aki opens her face-down trap card [Synchro Back - Trap: Return 1 Synchro Monster on your side of the field back to the Extra Deck. Special Summon the Synchro Monster returned to the Extra Deck via this effect during the Standby Phase of your next turn]. By its effect, she sends Black Rose Dragon back to her extra deck.

Prevent Star
Spell Card
Synchro Back
Trap Card

Yanagi looks confused and doesn't understand Aki's point of sending Black Rose Dragon back to her deck. Himuro explains that, by the remaining effect of Synchro Back, Black Rose Dragon will be special summoned back onto the field in her next standby phase. Tempei gets it immediately that Aki plans to play the monster effect of Black Rose Dragon to destroy all cards on the field. In that case, her target is to destroy Stardust Dragon by this monster effect of Black Rose Dragon. Yusei should be able to read Aki's game as well. Setting up a face-down card, he ends his turn.

Note: Again, the actual effect of Black Rose Dragon states that the effect to destroy all cards on the field can be used only when it is synchro summoned successfully. Synchro summon is considered a special summon, so the effect can be applicable in this case.

13th Turn - Aki

The turn moves to Aki. Drawing a card, she activates the effect of Synchro Back to call Black Rose Dragon onto the field in the standby phase. Once the dragon revives, Aki quickly holds her birthmark as it's beating stronger and hurting her. Yusei tries to convince Aki that she isn't enjoying but suffering now. Aki tells him to shut up. Although she tries to deny it, she thinks that Yusei is probably right. She doesn't understand at all why her birthmark is throbbing, why she isn't enjoying pain, and why she is suffering.

Yusei gives Aki an answer that her time to change has come. Her pleasure over destruction and pain have suffered her for long. Yusei thinks that her pain has changed into pain all Signers are sharing. As he is saying, the birthmarks of him, her, Ruca, and Jack are throbbing and glowing as if they are responding to one another. The birthmarks have guided them and the pain is appealing for something. To get an answer, one has to think by his or her own. Yusei thinks that the birthmark should hold an answer, so Aki had better think about it by herself. In other words, she shouldn't let someone (Divine) think for her.

Aki still wants to refuse the truth. She isn't sure what a witch like her can think and come up with. As long as Divine has guided her and given her love, she feels that she is fine with it. Yusei argues that she has to love herself (not let someone give your love to you). Aki begins to think about possibility whether she can do it or not. The more she thinks about it, the more she understands that she hasn't been able to do it. That's why she has suffered for a long time.

Aki looks frustrated until her hair decorator is broken. She seems unable to control herself while activating the monster effect of Black Rose Dragon, "Black Rose Gale!", again. Because Black Rose Dragon is special summoned by the effect of Synchro Back, its monster effect to destroy all cards on the field is applicable.

Black Rose Dragon causes strong wind that can impact all audiences in the stadium. The wind is about to destroy the place, which can express Aki's frustration very well.

Yusei declares that, no matter what, he will hold to stop it for her. He tells Aki to release her sorrow entirely, and he will take them all. Like before, Yusei activates the monster effect of Stardust Dragon, "Victim Sanctuary!". When it is about to be destroyed by an effect, he can release it to destroy the card that activates this effect. Yusei decides to release or sacrifice Stardust Dragon again. Stardust Dragon approaches and embraces Black Rose Dragon before Black Rose Dragon roars, struggles very hard, and hits Stardust Dragon by its thorns repeatedly to be freed. Stardust Dragon is like Yusei trying to stop Aki in frustration. Finally, the monster effect of Stardust Dragon makes it disappear along with Black Rose Dragon.

At this moment, Aki feels that her pain is fading. When Stardust Dragon is gone, Prevent Star equipped with it is also gone. Aki claims that her Phoenixician Cluster Amaryllis is now freed from attack or position change. Yusei's field is now open. If Aki makes a direct attack, she is convinced by that she will win. Aki doesn't care anymore and thinks that everything should be gone. She tells Yusei not to make her thing anymore as he is just an abominable foe. Yusei asks why Aki is crying if he is actually what she said. Because her mask is partially cracked, he can notice tears on a side of her face. Aki still looks confused and doesn't understand herself, either.

Cosmic Blast
Trap Card

At this moment, Yusei opens his face-down trap card [Cosmic Blast - Trap: You can activate this card when a Dragon-type Synchro Monster on your side of the field is removed from the field. Inflict damage to the opposing player equal to that Synchro Monster's attack power. On this turn, you cannot Special Summon a monster]. By its effect, when a Dragon-Type Synchro monster is removed from the field, this trap card can inflict damage points equal to the ATK of the removed monster to the opponent.

Stardust Dragon has just been released by its own monster effect. Thus, Aki has to receive 2500 damage points from the ATK of Stardust Dragon. This final strike hits the middle mask of Aki before her LP goes down to 0 (2500-1900) immediately.

Note: It is a close game, but Yusei manages to win Aki first. The whole play in the last 13th hasn't reached Aki's battle phase yet.

Duel End

The game ends by the victory of Yusei. Aki's mask is totally broken, and there appears her true face full of tears. Aki says in such a low tone, "Help me...", as kneeing down. That's her true feeling that she needs someone to help her. Yusei calls her name and is about to walk into her. The audiences then begin to yell at her and kick her out. They think that the witch deserves what she did and she should go back to her witch home.

Divine walks into the stage and puts his long cloth for Aki. He says that she did well and suggests her go back with him. MC then declares the winner of this game, Yusei Fudo, officially. Yusei can't do anything but looks at Aki walking out with Divine. He holds his birthmark on the right arm and only remembers Aki's face in tears under her Black Rose Witch's mask.

To be continued...
