The duel stadium is crowded and full of people. On the back stage, Rua is dressing like Ruca and doing more makeup to look like a girl. He asks Yusei for his comment on his similar look to Ruca. Yanagi is impressed by that they are very alike as a twin, and he can't separate them at all. Rua jumps around and looks happy to his success on disguising. Ruca can't stand his act and kicks his foot. She is ashamed because she normally doesn't act like that. Rua is going to destroy her actual image.

Rua tells Ruca not to be worried as he is sure that he can make it through. He then tries to walk like a girl and tells Yusei by lady accent that they better go now. Yusei walks away with Rua and suggests him clean his makeup. Ruca is looking concerned by Rua's act while Yanagi is smiling. However, Himuro looks very worried. He believes that Fortune Cup must be set up for something, so he hopes Yusei will be very careful.

In the middle of the duel stadium is a big duel field with many courts. The host, MC, is announcing the opening of Duel Fortune Cup, and Rex is sitting on a nearby stage. The large audiences cheer up loudly following by the appearance of Red Demon's Dragon. Familiar engine sound is coming from an entrance before Jack is jumping off by his D-Wheel. Red Demon's Dragon flies over its owner, lands smoothly, and sits on the stage. Jack has a drive show before jumping his D-Wheel up side down onto the stage and landing next to Red Demon's Dragon.

Jack takes off his helmet and looks at the audience. Everyone is cheering loudly and calling his name. Jack points his finger into the sky and says, "There is only one king, and it's me. Who dare challenge me?".

MC announces the coming of the duelists who get the golden tickets to compete in a dream match with the king. Then, a floor is open, and platform is rising up. Rua standing with Yusei gets so excited to see Red Demon's Dragon. 8 duelists with different look show up on the rising platform while Jack is standing on the upper-level stage. Jack crosses his eyes down toward Yusei while Yusei is looking back.

The picture of each duelist is displayed on visual screens around the stadium. When Yusei's picture is displayed, the audiences notice a marker on his face. They become uncertain to Yusei's qualification and some think that they should be better picked up. Some even think whether Yusei did steal invitation from someone. Himuro, Yanagi, Ruca, and Tempei are sitting on a side of the stadium. Yanagi looks obviously concerned by negative attitude of the audiences toward Yusei's criminal marker.

Rua is worried and turns to Yusei. Yusei tells him not to be worried and doesn't seem to care. Some duelists cross their eyes to Yusei, but Rex closes his eyes and doesn't want to mention anything. MC seems anxious and doesn't know what to say. A duelist, [Bommer], walks pass him and takes his microphone.

Bommer talks to the audience, "Attending Ladies and gentlemen! My name is Bommer. As a duelist standing here, I would like to ask what exactly you all are seeing".

He turns, points his finger to Yusei, and says, "There is no doubt that this man is a duelist selected by the same condition as we were. If a person has cards, no matter whether he has a marker or not, he is the same as everyone. People standing here have nothing to feel ashamed of. Rather, the words of you guys who are looking at him by your silly rose-colored glasses are violent disturbance".

Bommer leaves once he finishes his words. Rua cries and feels very impressed by Bommer's speech. Rex supports Bommer by clapping his hands. Everyone then applauds. Bommer bows to Rex before returning the microphone to MC, thanking him, and walking back to his position. Rex gets up and turns to have a speech by first thanking Bommer for his powerful words. Bommer has already said why Rex would like to provide opportunity.

Rex introduces himself to the audience, "I am Rex Godwin, an in charge of Neo Domino City public security maintenance bureau. Also,...To duelists, social status and the gap between the rich and the poor are irrelevant. True equality stays right here!"

The audiences all cheer up after Rex finishes his words. MC calls people's attention to the main screen for the match up. The pictures of the duelists are moving in the match table before they are stopped randomly. The results are that Ruca is going to fight Bommer in the first round, and Yusei is going to face a duelist in a black cloak named [Shira].

Note: As a reminder, the one who gets the invitation to Duel Fortune Cup is actually Ruca. However, Ruca doesn't want to participate, so Rua takes her place and disguises as her. Thus, the name and picture appearing on the screen belong to Ruca.

Rua looks excited to seeing that he is the first match with Bommer. He turns to Bommer as a challenge, but Bommer takes a quick shot on him and turns his face away shortly. Rua thinks that he will make through it.

After the penning, Rex is sitting in a room to watch over the match. Jaeger is staying nearby and reporting him that Everything has already been prepared in order. It's just about time when all Signers are gathered together. Jaeger then snaps his finger to open a visual screen displaying Akutsu's picture. Akutsu says good morning to Rex and reports that everything has already been prepared in order there. The duelists will be allowed to duel at maximum level, and any response from Singers will flow through ultimate Mormetn. Akutsu says while spinning himself like Mormetn (Mormetn has to spin in order to generate power).

Akutsu is proudly to present his new machine called [D-Sensor]. By many sensors installed around the stadium, they will be able to catch Singers' response empowered by duel. Rex counts on Akutsu to take this job before he gets up and walks away. Akutsu accepts the order, and the call is cut off.

In the resting room, the duelists are waiting for the coming match. Rua is sitting on a sofa with Yusei. He puts his deck into the duel disk and tells Yusei to meet each other in the final match. Yusei hopes that they will. Rua also tells him that he remembers what Yusei told him earlier (episode 13). He won't duel in a selfish way anymore. Yusei gives his last words to Rua that if Rua believes in cards, they will respond to him. Rua gets it before getting up and running out for his first match.

At the stadium, MC is introducing the duelists of the first match to the audiences. First is the youngest girl, Ruca, in this tournament. All kids around the world should be jealous of her. At the same time, Rua disguising as Ruca is moving up from an rising platform. Nobody has been aware of the switch between the two yet. MC introduces Rua's opponent moving from another rising platform on the other side. The opponent is the black storm, Bommer, whose impressive words left him a mark.

This duel will be done on standing ground. MC tells the both duelists to shake their hands. Rua tells Bommer that he's very impressed by Bommer's previous speech. It's true that there is no bad guy among duelists. Bommer has heard that his opponent is a girl, but Rua rather looks like a boy to him. Rua is afraid that the truth may be revealed, so he quickly acts like a girl and gives an excuse that people always say that he looks like a boy, but he is actually a girl. True Ruca sitting with the others on the stadium can't stand Rua's act as it isn't her personality at all. MC declares that it's time for a duel. Both Bommer and Rua standby their duel disks, and a duel then begins.

1st Turn - Bommer

The first turn is with Bommer. He draws a card, and others 5 cards on his hand are Masochistic Summon, Trap Reactor RR, Star Blast, Magic Reactor AID, and one unknown normal spell card. He activates a spell card [Star Blast - Spell: Select 1 monster on your field and/or in your hand. By paying 500 Life Points, you can decrease that monster's level by 1. The level of the monster decreased by this effect returns to its original level at the End Phase of the activated turn]. Rua looks obviously excited to the activation.

According to the special effect of Star Blast, Bommer can pay 500 LP to reduce a level of his monster. Rua looks confused by the point of writing off own LP. Bommer's LP decreases to 3500 (4000-500); however, he can reduce a level of a monster on his hand by 1. The monster selected is [Summon Reactor AI - 5/2000/1400: When your opponent Summons, Special Summons, or Flip Summons a monster, you can inflict 800 damage to your opponent. If you do this, you can negate the attack of 1 of your opponent's monsters. (This effect can only be used once per turn.)] with level 5. With 1 level reduction, it has level 4 and can be normal summoned onto the field in attack position.

Star Blast Spell Card	Summon Reactor AI Monster Card

Rua is getting stunned by the sudden summon of the monster with 2000 ATK. Setting up a face-down card, which is Masochistic Summon, Bommer ends his turn. Rua is concerned by that the monster with 2000 ATK may be tough, but he intends to believe in his cards and move on.

2nd Turn - Rua

Rua calls for his turn, draws a card actively, gets [Deformer Mobaphon - 1/100/100: This card gains one of the following effects according to this card's battle position: ・ Attack Position: You can roll a six-side dice. Draw an equal number of cards from the top of your Deck. If there is any Level 4 or lower "Deformer" monster(s) among them, you can Special Summon 1 of them regardless of Summoning conditions. Shuffle all other cards back into your Deck. You can use this effect only once per turn. ・ Defense Position: You can roll a six-side dice. Draw and look at equal number of cards from top of your Deck and return them to top of your Deck in the same order. You can use this effect only once per turn], and summon it onto the field in attack position.

Rua declares to Bommer that he is going to show strength of his Deformer deck. Bommer responds calmly that, before that time comes, he is going to activate the special effect of his Summon Reactor AI. By its special effect, 800 damage points inflict to the opponent when a monster is summoned onto the opponent's field. Thus, Rua just summoning Deformer Mobaphon has to receive 800 direct damage points. Big storm is fired from Summon Reactor AI toward Rua, reducing his LP to 3200 (4000-800).

Meanwhile, Jack, Jaeger, and Rex are watching the duel on the observation deck. Jaeger looks at Rex and comments that he has already made it start rapidly. Rex and Jack are paying attention to the duel and don't say anything.

Rua is impressed by that Bommer could make it through his LP, but his Deformer deck won't be defeated anyway. That attitude is what Bommer has waited for. He would like Rua to be more on fire and to bear his fangs on him. Bommer tells Rua to show him how powerful his Deformer deck is, and Rua responds excitedly that he will even without Bommer's words. True Ruca is looking at her twin's act through a visual screen. She realizes that Rua doesn't try to impersonate her at all but rather acts by his true personality.

Rua spins his arm around before activating the special attack-position effect of Deformer Mobaphon. Once the signal is enhanced, Ruca meanwhile feels hurt at her head. Tempei asks with concern whether she is okey, and Ruca replies that it's nothing.

3rd Turn - Bommer

Trap Reactor RR Monster Card

The turn moves to Bommer. Drawing a card, he gets Delta Reactor. He then summons [Trap Reactor RR - 4/800/1800: When your opponent activates a Trap Card, you can destroy it and inflict 800 damage to your opponent. (This effect can only be used once per turn.)] onto the field in attack position and declares its attack toward Deformer Mobaphon immediately. This is what Rua has waited for before he opens his face-down trap card [Deform - Trap: This card can only be activated when a monster with "Deformer" in its name face-up on your side of the field is targeted with an attack. Negate the attacking monster's attack and change the battle mode or the attack targeted monster with "Deformer" in its name]. It can negate the attack of Trap Reactor RR and change Trap Reactor RR to defense position.

Bommer sees that Rua's doing well, but he wants to apply the special effect of Trap Reactor RR at this moment. Bommer decides to special summon [Magic Reactor AID - 3/1200/900: When your opponent activates a Magic Card, you can destroy it and inflict 800 damage to your opponent. (This effect can only be used once per turn.)] from his hand onto the field in attack position. He then declares the attack of Magic Reactor AID to destroy Deformer Radicsen. The special effect of Deformer Radicsen to negate an attack can be used only once per turn and it has just been used to negate the attack of Summon Reactor, so this special effect can't be used again and Deformer Radicsen has to be destroyed in battle. Setting up a face-down card, Bommer ends his turn.

He sees that Rua seems to enjoy very much, so he asks him directly whether Rua actually knows this pinch he is in.

Rua looks uncertain to Bommer's words. Bommer explains that his 3 Reactor series have already been collected onto the field. If Rua summons a monster or plays a trap card, he will receive 800 damage points from the special effect of Summon Reactor AI and Trap Reactor RR respectively. Without further words, Bommer hopes Rua understand that Magic Reactor AID has similar effect to the other two if Rua is going to play a spell card. Rua has just realized that he will also get 800 damage points from the special effect of Magic Reactor AID even though he plays a spell card. Akutsu has already understood and just wants to inform Jaeger that he has got little response from the audience stages. Jaeger is surprised by hearing that the little signal comes from the audience stages not the duel field. Akutsu knows that this may be a weird story.

4th Turn - Rua

Rua wants to get Deformer Chakkan, which is the first card in his deck now, so he hopes the duel ends by number 1. The dial of Deformer Mobaphon actually ends at 1, so its special effect allows Rua to draw a card and special a Deformer monster with level 4 or less regardless of the summoning condition.

Bommer looks annoyed by Rua's act. Yanagi has just been aware of this effect able used only once per turn. Anyway, Himuro thinks that Rua should low down his guard yet because Bommer is very skillful.

Rua continues his full charge by releasing Deformer Magnen-U from his hand into the cemetery in order to increase the attack points of Gadget Trailer by 800 points. This is as a result of Gadget Trailer's special effect. The ATK of Gadget Trailer becomes 2100 (1300+800). That's what Bommer has expected and would like Rua to threaten him even more.

Rua next plays a spell card [Night Work of One-Hundred Machines ~ Hyakkiyako - Quick Play Spell: Remove all monsters with "Deformer" in their names in your Cemetery from the game. The attack power of 1 face-up Machine-type monster on your side of the field increases by 200 points for each monster removed from the game by this effect for this turn]. Bommer claims that because Rua has just played a spell card, he has to receive the direct 800 damage points from the special effect of Magic Reactor AID.

Receiving another direct 800 point hit, Rua loses his LP down to 800 (1600-800). Bommer tells Rua to show him his soul and put it into this duel. He wants Rua to come in with his full stream. Rua responds that he has already come this far and will move on with everything he has got. He declares the attack of Gadget Trailer, "Gadgeting Cannon!", toward Trap Reactor RR. Gadget Trailer fires, and there appears explosion and big smoke. The audiences cheer up that Rua finally makes it.

Tempei sees that Bommer has only 2100 LP left. Trap Reactor has 800 ATK. If this attack of Rua works, the game should be reversed as Bommer's LP will be come 0 exactly (2100+800-2900). Ruca is glad that Rua may be able to make it. At the same time, she is still holding her head getting hurt off and on. The signal releasing from her finally goes through the censor. Akutsu is glad to catch her signal finally. On the other side, Yusei is keeping his eyes on the game as the result hasn't been cleared yet.

Rua doubts whether he can make it. When the smoke fades, there appears Bommer standing firmly and laughing. Bommer says that although Rua is little, he can show pride of a warrior. This single blow has such a win. Rua is uncertain whether his Gadget Trailer became a hit. Rather than explain, Bommer opens his face-down trap card [Delta Reactor - Activate this card by sending 1 "Summon Reflector AI", "Trap Reactor RR", and "Magic Reactor AID" on your side of the field to the Cemetery. Special Summon 1 "Giant Bomber Air Raid" from your hand, deck, or Cemetery].

The host, MC, declares the result of the game as Bommer is moving to the second round. Rua falls onto his knees and looks very upset. He is trembling and apologizing Yusei and Ruca for his defeat. Tempei and Yanagi feel sorry to Rua that he has already been defeated. Ruca then can feel that the strange feeling has already gone.

After the match, Bommer is walking to the back stage. He meets Jaeger in the mid of his way. Jaeger says that Bommer did such a good job on his duel. Bommer thinks that he has heard of a different story. He thinks that his opponent is a girl, but he appears to be a boy no matter what he looks. Jaeger doesn't deny that Rua is a boy and says that things have turn to be come interesting He shows a profile to Bommer. The profile shows the pictures of the twin, Rua and Ruca. By this, people have already figured out that there was a replacement.

In a resting room, Akutsu is reporting to Rex that he has already turned the output to its normal position. This explains why Ruca feels no more pain. Akutsu asks Rex what he should do since the signal appears clearly to come from Ruca sitting on the audience stage. The picture of Ruca is appearing on visual screen while Rex is chuckling.
