EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 1

By the order of the cheif of the detention center, Takasu, the 2 securities take Yusei to meet him privately in a room. In the main hall where Yusei and Yagani dueled Himuro, many prisoners gather up there. Yanagi now hangs around with Himuro and his gang, which have become his good friends by now. He is looking at his treasured cards, checking them, and keeping them back to his cloth.

Himuro then asks Yanagi whether Yusei was arrested because of trespassing (from Satellite to Neo Domino City without permission). Yanagi confirms that Yusei is, and so is he. Himuro thinks that this is strange. The securities should check Yusei already before he had come here. Yanagi was also arrested by the same reason and even about the same time last night, but Yusei is the only one called for a private investigation. Himuro doesn't understand what the warden, Takasu, really wants to investigate Yusei. As far as he knows, Takasu is a very tough guy. This makes him have bad feeling about this investigation.

Yusei is brought into a lab. There are 2 researchers in a white coat, the 2 securities currently controlling Yusei, and Takasu standing in front of him. Takasu first greets Yusei by acting rudely to him. He takes some hairs from his nose, blow them in front of Yusei, and makes it clear to him that he really hates people from Satellite. Takasu then moves behind Yusei and catches his arm to his back. Although he doesn't want to touch Satellite people, he needs to investigate Yusei now.

Takasu checks Yusei's right arm and doesn't see any single mark. The dragon mark that appeared in the duel with Jack (episode 5) has already gone. Takasu rudely pushes Yusei to the 2 researchers, telling them to investigate thoroughly. Yusei turns back and stares at Takasu with angry eyes.

In the lab, Yusei is put into a physical examination. His cloth is taken off and remains only a short pant. His body is then placed into a scanner machine. A researcher then starts the scanning process, launching electricity running through Yusei's entire body. Yusei screams and struggles in pain. Takasu is standing behind the researcher and waiting for the result. Yusei keeps crying loudly as the electricity is running through.

When the scanning is done, Yusei seems to lose his mind. His eyes look blank as same as his sense. Takasu catches his hair to pull his head up. He wonders whether Yusei has been enough already. Yusei gains back his sense and stares at Takasu angrily. Takasu tells him that his D-Wheel and deck don't deserve to belong to a Satellite guy like him. Thus, the public security maintenance bureau will take them all.

Also, the director, Rex Godwin, seems interested in those stuffs, so he may be investigating them thoroughly in the security warehouse. As saying Takasu, takes some pieces of hair from his nose and blows them in front of Yusei again. Yusei looks clearly very angry after hearing what's going to happen to his properties and also what Takasu is doing to him.

At the building of the public security maintenance bureau, Jaeger is walking after Rex in a hall way and entering Rex's office. He tells Rex that Yusei's information at the detention center has just been transferred to here. When Rex is ready on his seat, Jaeger begins to open his virtual controller and displays that information on screen. According to the result of the investigation from the warden, Takasu, there has been no trace as an indication of a Signer found on this Satellite man by now. However, Takasu informs that he will keep inspecting him. Rex nods his head as he has understood.

Jaeger, by the way, asks whether Rex has told the King, Jack, everything. Rex is afraid that he didn't. If he had told the King everything, he wouldn't have been able to suppress his anger. Jaeger chuckles and thinks that this should be more interesting. After finishing with Jack, Rex thinks that he next should try to go and meet the Satellite guy or Yusei at the detention center.

At the detention center, the securities take the weak body of Yusei back to his cell. One of them throws him into his room, and Yusei seems knocked out without movement. Yanagi sharing his cell with Yusei steps down from his bed and asks whether Yusei is fine. He tells him to hang up while Yusei is trying to hold himself up and sitting near Yanagi. Yanagi asks Yusei directly what the securities did to him. Yusei replies that they just want to look for a mark on his body. Yanagi is surprised by what mark Yusei is talking about. Yusei clarifies that the mark appeared on his arm when the crimson dragon appeared, and it then disappeared.

Yanagi isn't sure and is about to ask Yusei further. However, he quickly closes his mouth once he hears a security walking pass his cell. It's discussion that he doesn't want anybody to hear. When Yanagi is sure that the security has already passed the room, he asks Yusei directly whether he is a Signer. Yusei looks confused as he has never heard about it. Yanagi tells him that when he traveled around South America, he heard the legend of people of the stars. Singer is a word coming from that legend. In the legend of the people of the starts, the crimson dragon is a god and they call a person with a dragon's mark a Signer.

There are 5 Signers, and each individual has a dragon. They all have 5 dragons in total to release the power of the crimson dragon. Yusei thinks about Red Demon's Dragon and Stardust Dragon that appeared in the mid of his duel with Jack. They are 2 of the 5 dragons Yanagi is talking about. Yanagi tells Yusei that the form of the 5 dragons have been changing over time, but they are living. To think about it, he doubts whether Yusei really has one of those 5 dragons.

Yusei thinks about what has happened and realizes that everything makes sense now to his Stardust Dragon. Yanagi is getting very excited to hear that the dragon is now in a form of a card. He tries to ask Yusei that he really wants to see it. Yusei is afraid that he doesn't have it now. Yanagi is pity that he would like to see it very much. Anyway, he thinks that it's strange as he doesn't understand why the securities at the detention center are interested in this stuff. Yanagi's words make Yusei doubt about it as well.

Jack is currently sitting in his dark room. He opens the top card on his deck, and it appears to be Red Demon's Dragon. Jack doesn't look in a good mood and keeps thinking about what Rex told him that he's a chosen person of the stars. Mikage then enters the room, and Jack asks what she wants. She reports that she has just got the details about a challenger for Jack's tomorrow duel, so she would like him to look through it. Jack changes the topic by asking how he looks to her now. Mikage replies that Jack is certainly a king of duelists.

This question makes Jack very angry. He quickly gets up and says that his undefeatable record has already been over. He has already been defeated by Yusei, so he is no longer a king. Jack yells at Mikage as throwing Red Demon's Dragon card aggressively onto the table. Mikage disagrees and thinks that Jack deserves to be a king. Jack gets more angry and says that he can't be expected to duel with that kind of notion.

Seeing Jack's act, Mikage can't say anything. Jack moves to the window and looks up to the moon. He doubts that he is looking like a clown. Meanwhile in the cell at the detention center, Yanagi is sleeping and snoring loudly. Nevertheless, Yusei can't sleep, still stays awake, and looks at his arm where the dragon's mark used to appear.

In the next morning, all prisoners are together in the main hall as Rex is standing on the front stage. Tataku tells the prisoners that the director, Rex Godwin from the public security maintenance bureau of Neo Domino City is invited here today for the education program. The director is going to give a speech, so he hopes everything will listen carefully. Rex's eyes then move straight to Yusei as a target. Yusei can be aware that he is watched over. Even Yanagi and Himuro can notice that.

At the duel stadium full of audiences, a duel king match is about to start. The host is announcing the time for the main event today and welcoming a challenger to the king, Jack Atlas. This challenger has given a challenge to the king for a revenge. At the same time, Jack is preparing himself in his resting room. Mikage is standing behind, mentioning that Jack in the current form fits him very much and that she is glad for Jack to accept today duel.

Jack looks in a very bad mood as crossing his eyes to Mikage. Mikage can feel his anger, so she says no more. Jack asks whether the director, Rex, is watching today. Mikage is afraid to tell the truth that the director is going to the detention center today. Jack can easily understand Rex's purpose to go there but doesn't say anything. He then picks his deck and stands up for the coming duel.

At the duel stadium, the host is announcing the coming back of the flame revenger, Enjo Mukuro. Mukuro appears with his Bike D-Wheel from the exit full of smoke. He declares that he is going to beat the king down today by his strongest and best deck. The next king is going to be him. Mukuro breaks his D-Wheel and stands by for his opponent to appear.

On the other side, Jack is preparing himself while setting up his deck into his D-Wheel. He turns on his engine as his eyes look very serious. The host at the stadium then announces the appearance of the king of duelists, Jack Atlas. Jack with his white D-Wheel jumps out from another entrance full of smoke. As usual, he introduces himself to the audiences, "There is only one king, and that's me!".

The host describes that the challenger, Mukuro, looks much different today, suggesting people watch over him carefully for his newly recreated deck since the last duel against the king. It's interesting how the king is going to deal with it. Jack is currently moving his D-Wheel to the starting position behind Mukuro waiting for him there (A challenger is normally in the front position while the king is behind to let the challenger go first). He thinks that the duel of a king is what he has looked for. Jack looks around to see the large audiences and cheerleaders in the stadium. Everything is calling his name. As Jack is on this stage, people cheer and motion have never been empty.

The host mentions whether people are going to witness birth of a new king today. Meanwhile, Mikage is entering the stadium and watching the game from an audience area. She is looking worried about Jack. It's about time to duel, so the host declares both duelists to set up their Speed World. This field spell is set up into both Jack's and Mukuro's D-Wheels, creating the speed duel theme around the stadium. The computers on both D-Wheels say, "Duel Mode on, Auto Pilot, Standby!".

A time counter appears to give a starting point. The host declares that the match of the century is going to begin and it's interesting who is going to win. Time has come, and the signal turns green for a start. "Riding Duel, Acceleration!", the host declares while the game begins. When the game starts, Jack accelerates his D-Wheel to lead Mukuro. The host declares the first turn coming to the king.

1st Turn - Jack

Drawing a card, Jack summons monster [Dark Resonator - 3/1300/300: Once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed in battle] onto the field in defense position. The host introduces this monster to the audiences and describes that it can't be destroyed in battle once per turn. Mukuro realizes that Jack is playing a tuner monster. Setting 2 face-down cards, Jack ends his turn. The host doubts and describes whether these two cards are going to create a major highlight today.

At the detention center, Rex is giving a speech to the prisoners, saying that there is a great meaning for him to sort people of both Neo Domino City and Satellite. The two worlds are complementary and develop one another. There are necessity and reason for people who reside in Satellite as Satellite residents and people who live in Neo Domino City as Neo Domino City residents. At the same time, Rex is stepping down from the stage and walking into the prisoner lines. Some of them begin to yawn as listening to Rex's speech. When they see Rex walking in, they turn back to pay attention.

Rex stops in the middle of the prisoner lines close to Yusei's position. He continues his speech that leaving Satellite is going to throw the world into disorder. A reckless action of a person can cause a trouble for his friends, following by pain. While saying, Rex is looking towards Yusei , who is staring Rex back with serious eyes.

EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 2

2nd Turn - Mukuro

At the riding duel stadium, the second turn moves to the challenger, Mukuro. He tells the king that he will show him the super revenge deck prepared for this game. Drawing a card, he gets Skull Conductor. Mukuro declares that he is going to push the king slowly into a corner and let him see a kingly show. Instead of summoning a monster onto the field, he sends [Skull Conductor - 4/2000/0: Send this card from your hand to the Cemetery. You can Special Summon 2 Zombie-type monsters from your hand in face-up defense mode whose total attack powers equal 2000] to the cemetery in order to activate its special effect.

The special effect of Skull Conductor allows Mukuro to special summon 2 zombie monsters whose total attack power equal to 2000 from his hand onto the field in defense position. Thus, Mukuro summons 2 [Burning Skull Head - 3/1000/800: When this card is Special Summoned, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points] from his hand onto the field in defense mode.

Note: Anime doesn't present this, but there are currently 1 SPC on both Mukuro's and Jack's SPC gauges. SPC normally increases by 1 on each standby phase, starting from the 2nd turn.

Mukuro describes the special effect of Burning Skull Head that when it's special summoned, it can inflict 1000 damage points to the opponent. 2 Burning Skull Heads are special summoned, so Jack has to receive 2000 direct damage (2*1000). Mukuro declares the damage strike of the 2 monster, "Hell Burning", towards Jack riding in the front directly. Jack receives the burning flame making his LP decrease to 2000 (4000-2000).

The audiences and the host are surprised by that Jack receives such a massive damage. Mukuro says that his play hasn't been done yet. Releasing 2 Burning Skull Heads, he advance summons [Skull Flame - 8/2600: You can Special Summon any number of Burning Skull Head from your hand during your turn. If you do this, this card cannot attack during that turn. During your Draw Phase, you can add 1 Burning Skull Head from your Graveyard to your hand instead of conducting your normal draw] onto the field in attack position.

Due to the special effect of Skull Flame, Mukuro is allowed to special as many as Burning Skull Heads from his hand onto the field. He has 1 more Burning Skull Head left on his hand, so he special summoned it onto the field in defense position. Mukuro again declares the special-effect strike of the 3rd Burning Skull Head, "Hell Burning", towards Jack. Jack receives another direct hit, and his LP decreases to 1000 (2000-1000).

Note: From Mukuro's whole play in the second turn, it indicates that he has had 3 Burning Skull Flame on his hand early together in this game.

Everyone is shocked by that the king's LP has dropped to 1000 only in the second turn as the game seems intense from the beginning. Mukuro asks whether Jack has realized the power of his revenge deck. This is the combo of terror that will settle down the game by continuous monsters effects. In addition to the special effect of Skull Flame, Mukuro can select to add Burning Skull Head from his cemetery onto his hand in exchange of drawing. Thus, if he activates this special effect in his next turn, he can utilize the first effect of Burning Skull Head to special summon Burning Skull Head from his hand onto the field and inflict 1000 damage points to Jack again by the special effect of Burning Skull Head. Jack has 1000 points, so his LP will be totally written off and he will be defeated eventually.

Mukuro doesn't intend to beat Jack by normal attack by the monster effect. If he can special Burning Skull Head in his next turn, he will win and become a new king of duelists. The host describes that Mukuro has already declared his victory while Mukuro is laughing loudly. His turn seems to end at this point Jack isn't pleased at all and doubts whether Mukuro can really call this a duel. As far as he can see, Mukuro just has a luck. Jack disagrees and thinks that this level of play can't be called a duel at all.

At the detention center, Rex has already finished giving his speech. Takasu tells all prisoners to return to their cells. As the securities are leading people out, Takasu calls Yusei, "Number 88", to remain. Himuro tells Yusei to be careful before walking away with Yanagi and other prisoners. As everyone is leaving, Rex walks down from the stage following by Takasu. He tells Yusei that the king is now dueling at the stadium. Yusei asks back how it is related to him. Takasu is mad at Yusei's act, telling him to watch out his words. Rex stops Takusu as it doesn't matter.

Yusei asks them directly what they actually want to know from him. Rex replies that he wants to know everything about him and doubts where the mark on Yusei's body has gone. Yusei doesn't understand why the public security maintenance bureau must be concerned about this. Rex tells him plainly that it is related to the public security. Yusei is uncertain and asks what Rex is thinking. He also asks for explanation about the pain Rex early spoke in his speech (Rex said previously that a reckless action of a person could cause a trouble for his friends, following by pain).

Rex says that he doesn't know what Yusei is thinking, but what he was talking is about correlation between Neo Domino City and Satellite. Yusei thinks that his friends at Satellite (Blitz, Taka, and Rally) may be in trouble because of him, so he tells Rex not to touch his friends. They all have nothing to do with his issue. Yusei then asks Rex directly who he is. Rex walks away and says that he is just a person who expects for evolution of Neo Domino City and peace of the world. Thus, he has never hesitated to sacrifice one side for another (Neo Domino City VS Satellite). One existence (Satellite) is for another necessities (Neo Domino City).

Yusei doubts the sacrifice that Rex is talking about. Rex says that it's just a metaphor. Yusei looks very serious as he doesn't trust Rex. Rex's words seem to refer that Satellite people must be sacrificed for Neo Domino City residents, and those sacrifices may be his friends.

3rd Turn - Jack

At the duel stadium, the host declares the turn of the king. He draws a card, rides his D-Wheel reversely towards Mukuro behind, and release Dark Resonator to advance summon [Big Piece Golem - 5/2100/0: When an opponent controls a monster and you have no monster on the field, you can Normal Summon this card without Release] onto the field in attack position.

Jack places his hand on a set-up card, and everyone realizes that he is going to activate it. Mukuro says that whatever Jack is going to do is useless and his struggling is just a waste. Jack opens his face-down trap card [Revival Gift - Trap: Select and Special Summon 1 Tuner in your Cemetery. Any effects of the monster Special Summoned by this effect are negated. Special Summon 2 Gift Demon Token (Demon-type, Dark, 3 Stars, ATK/DEF 1500) on your opponent's side of the field].

The host explains the effect of this card that it allows Jack to special summon a Tuner monster in the cemetery. Thus, Jack special summons Dark Resonator from his graveyard onto the field in attack position. In addition, Revival Gift can special summon 2 Gift Demon Tokens onto the field in defense position on Mukuro's field. Mukuro is surprised by seeing those monsters on his field as the host is explaining this result from the effect of Revival Gift. It's doubtful to what the king actually aims to because the effect of Revival Gift to place 2 more monsters on Mukuro's field should put the king into more disadvantage position.

At this timing, Jack tunes Dark Resonator and Big Piece Golem. The ruler's heartbeat is flying here to witness its shaking power. Jack says and declares "Synchro Summon", calling out his soul, [Red Demon's Dragon - 8/3000/2000: When this card attacks a Defense Position monster your opponent controls, after Damage Calculation, destroy all Defense Position monster your opponent controls. If this card is face-up during your End-Phase, destroy all monsters you control that didn't declare an attack this turn except this card], onto the field in attack position.

Note: A Synchro Summon is a new combination between a tuner and non-tuner monster. In order to perform a Synchro Summon, the levels of the tuner and non-tuner monsters must add up to be the exact level of the desired Synchro monster (no more, no less). Once that is satisfied, the two monsters are sent to the Cemetery, and the Synchro monster can be summoned from the Extra Deck. In this case, Dark Resonator (Tuner Monster) has 3 stars while Big Piece Golem (Non-Tuner Monster) has 5 stars. Their stars are added up to 8 (3+5), the star level of Red Demon's Dragon (Synchron Monster) exactly.

Everybody is excited to the king's ultimate ace, Red Demon's Dragon. Without waiting, Jack declares the battle of Red Demon's Dragon, "Absolute Power Force", to destroy defending Burning Skull Head. The host explains that according to the special effect of Red Demon's Dragon, when it can destroy a monster in defense position, other defense-position monsters must also be destroyed. Therefore, 2 Gift Demon Tokens in defense position on Mukuro are destroyed along with Burning Skull Head.

Jack next opens his second face-down card, [Lineage of the Destructor Lord ~ Hakaishin no Keifu - Trap: On the turn you destroy a monster on your opponent's side of the field in defense mode, select a face-up Level 8 monster on your side of the field and activate this card. On this turn, the selected monster can attack a number of times equal to the number of defense mode monsters destroyed during this turn].

Lineage of the Destructor Lord
Trap Card

Due to the effect of Lineage of Destructor Lord, when a monster can destroy monsters in defense position, a face-up Level 8 monster can attack more by the number of defense monsters destroyed in this turn. 3 defense monsters on Mukuro's field (2 Gift demon Tokens and 1 Burning Skull Head) were destroyed, so Red Demon's Dragon with Level 8 can have 3 more attacks in this battle phase. Mukuro is getting very shocked by the 3 more strikes.

Jack tells Mukuro to better keep the power of the king in his mind, declaring the first attack of Red Demon's Dragon, "Absolute Power Force", to destroy Skull Flame. This strike reduces Mukuro's LP to 3600 (5000+3000-2600). There is no other escape for Mukuro while he is looking scared. Jack declares the second attack of Red Demon's Dragon, "Blazing Crimson Hell Flare", towards Mukuro directly. This direct hit reduces Mukuro's LP rapidly to 600 (3600-3000).

At this moment, Jack is riding his D-Wheel behind Mukuro. He remembers what Mukuro said earlier that his would become a new king in his next turn. It's pity that this is reality, and Mukuro's turn will never come again. Jack tells him better kneel down in front of the king before declaring the third and last strike of Red Demon's Dragon, "Absolute Power Force", towards Mukuro directly. Mukuro screams and hardly believes that this is happening. His LP goes down to 0 (600-3000), and he is finally defeated.

Note: Normally in a riding duel, SPC plays important roles for players to play a Speed Spell card. It increases each turn and decreases by damage interval. However, anime doesn't display any SPC in this episode as it may be not be an important part in this duel.

Duel End

The game is over by the victory of Jack. He stops his D-Wheel near Mukuro and talks to him that Mukuro had continuous attacks but was still unable to settle down the game in his turn. This makes him not deserved to be ready for the king. Mukuro looks very mad after getting insulted by Jack.

The audiences cheer loudly while the host is announcing the result of the game and victory of the king. The king is very strong, his furious attack is dynamic and different from his prior duels. He is again able to protect his undefeatable record. Jack meanwhile steps down from his D-Wheel, takes off his helmet, and faces the audiences. He raises his fist up and says, "There is only one king, and it's me!". Everyone is calling his name around the stadium. Although Jack can win, he isn't pleased. He thinks that he thirsts more as this level of duel can't satisfy him at all.

To be continued...
