EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 1

At a high-tech, gigantic dome stadium, a telescreen displays a picture of a King card. "And now for today's main Riding Duel!" an announcer says. "Here he comes! Everybody, listen! It's the king of D-Wheelers, Jack Atlus". Smoke is launched through the exit tunnel, as a guy appears with a helmet, riding a white [D-Wheel] as he jumps out. Everyone in the stadium cheers loudly for him, awaiting what he'll show them. Jack lands on the ground and starts to ride along the road surrounding the stadium.

Note: The D-Wheel is a vehicular duel disk used for Riding Duels, most of them in the form of motorbikes.

"Sorry I kept you all waiting!" Jack tells the audience. "I am the King!"

At the same time, in a dark tunnel, [Fudo Yusei] rides his red D-Wheel along the path in front of him, all alone. A monitor on his bike displays his driving mode, direction, the current time (1:30 PM), and his current speed, which is about 245 km/hr (152m/hr). His eyes show a seriousness about him, as he continues driving. Meanwhile, we see Jack continuing to show his riding skills, as we also see Yusei's determined face. Jack seems to be thinking about something, as Yusei shows more determination, most likely involving Jack at the stadium.

The approaching title match at the stadium is being broadcasted all around Neo Domino City. The announcer says that this is the 143rd Duel King title match, as it appears challengers have been scrambling to earn the title of duel king. He adds that it's interesting, wondering if the upcoming challenger will be able to beat Jack's strongest deck, one with an unbeatable record. As the citizens of the city listen on, the announcer says that his current challenger is [Enjo Mukuro]. As the scene closes in to the duel stadium, the announcer expresses his wonder at how the King will strike this fearless duelist, looking forward to the fateful showdown.

The open stadium dome is now closed for the match, as Mukuro and Jack are all set with their D-Wheels at the starting point. "It's time to cast some Magic on the field!" says the announcer. In order to perform this riding duel, he tells the King and his challenger to set their [Speed World - Field Spell: When you play a Magic card other than a Magic card with "Speed Spell" in its name, you receive 2000 points of damage. Both player's, during their Standby Phases, place 1 Speed Counter for themselves on this card. (A maximum of 12 for each player.) Reduce 1 of your own Speed Counters for every increment of 1000 of damage you receive at once] field spell on in their D-Wheels.

"Duel Mode: Auto Pilot. Standby!", the D-Wheel's computerized voice says, as the duel system from the two D-Wheels change the duel stadium into a speed stadium. The announcer explains that the field is dominated by Speed World, and that Spell cards other than "Speed Spell" cards cannot be activated. The most important aspect of riding duels are "Speed Spell" cards, because they are Spell cards that can only be activated on a field with Speed World casted on it. He continues to say that unlike normal spells, the activation requirements of "Speed Spell" cards are determined by speed counters, showing a speed counter (SPC) meter on the two duelists' D-Wheel's monitors, which measures a duelist's current speed. In other words, the duelist's speed itself is the Spell.

Note: To summarize, when Speed World is activated, only "Speed Spell" cards can be played. A "Speed Spell" card usually has "Sp" written in its name text. These "Sp" cards are classified as normal spells with a specified sub-type that lets them be played within Speed World. Depending on the number of Speed Counters required, these cards can be activated. In the anime, a speed counter is represented by the D-Wheel's actual speed.

Also, a member of the audience is shown looking at an example of a card that can be played within Speed World. The name on it is [Sp-Vision Wind] (The one with a circle on it), which is a normal "Sp" card. This type of card will be played by Yusei and explained later in this episode.

"The starter has appeared and gives the red signal!", says the announcer. "Okay, now! Riding Duel! Acceleration!" Upon hearing that, both Jack and Mukuro take off. Following the common duel rule, both of them have a full 4000 LP. The announcer says that the first turn goes to the challenger, and, ready to go, he draws a card. Meanwhile, Yusei continues to ride his D-Wheel in the dark tunnel. He passes a crack on the ceiling, through which sunlight comes through.

As the riding duel continues, the announcer says that the challenger, Mukuro, is using his skillful traps to assault the King. He seems to have [Burning Skull Head - ?/1000] in attack position, as it flies along with his D-Wheel. However, the announcer says, the King hasn't been defeated yet. "Allow me to show you my awesome might," Jack says to his opponent. A dragon flies out, as the announcer says that the King has summoned his ace monster, [Red Demon's Dragon - 8/3000/2000: When this card attacks a Defense Position monster your opponent controls, after Damage Calculation, destroy all Defense Position monster your opponent controls. If this card is face-up during your End-Phase, destroy all monsters you control that didn't declare an attack this turn except this card].

The audience is very amazed at the sight of the King's ace monster, as Jack tells his opponent to consider this a "thanks" from him for entertaining him. "I'll give you the honor of falling victim to my fangs! Take this!", he says, as he declares Red Demon's Dragon's "Blazing Crimson Hell Flare" attack, which destroys Burning Skull Head. At the same time, Yusei breaks his D-Wheel while driving it, and so slides to a halt, smoke flying out from an air slot. Yusei takes off his helmet and looks at the sunny sky through the crack. It seems as though he's in the underground level of an old city.

Meanwhile, at the stadium, the announcer declares the defeat of the challenger to Jack. Mukuro stops his D-Wheel, getting off of it, taking off his helmet, all out of disbelief. Jack, however, is still on his D-Wheel, even after his victory. As his cheerleaders cheer, the announcer says that Jack has defended himself successfully, and that win was added to his undefeatable record.

"There is only one King, and it's me!", Jack declares loudly, pointing his finger into the sky, as the audience cheers for him.

As it becomes evening in the old Domino city, the town appears to be in ruins, as it seems nobody lives here anymore. Cracks are all around the roads. Further into one of the cracks, Yusei pushes his red D-Wheel back to his base. Because his D-Wheel had a problem, he had to stop riding and must take it back.

At the base station, 3 of Yusei's friends, [Nerve], [Blitz], and [Taka] are watching Jack's title match. The announcer is interviewing Jack, who turned out to be the winner. He says that the King got tossed around by his challenger's traps at the start, but he managed to stay two, even three moves ahead.

Jack snatches the microphone from the announcer and says, "If the King had gone through the game using his full power, it would be over in a second. The King's duels must be entertainment for all!".

While his friends are paying attention to this live report, Yusei focuses on fixing his red D-Wheel. He then turns the engine on, and the sound made by it makes his friends realize that Yusei has returned. Taka apologizes to Yusei, saying that Jack has been chasing them around, and this is the only place their TV will get reception. Blitz comments that Jack was something, adding that he keeps becoming stronger.

Meanwhile, Yusei connects his D-Wheel into a personal laptop, checking the status of his engine. He comments on Jack's duel by asking if his opponent was a wimp. Nerve agrees, saying that Jack completely toyed with him. Yusei then says that he was no big deal. Taka then asks him about the condition of Yusei's D-Wheel, but Nerve asks if he can't tell that by just looking. This makes Taka start on an old topic, about why Jack had to steal Yusei's D-Wheel. Nerve stops Taka by telling him to get a clue, while he says that everyone is mad at Jack. If it weren't for that, Yusei would probably be the stadium's King by now. He adds that Jack even took the D-Wheel that Yusei managed to build. (That's why Yusei has to assemble this new one and try to make it work.)

Yusei knows this well but continues to fix his D-Wheel without commenting. Meanwhile, a boy with pink hair runs down towards the station base. He looks happy as he calls for Yusei. Everyone calls him [Rally]. Rally sees that everyone's here, and then moves straight to Yusei, while Blitz asks why he seems to be in a rush. Rally takes a chip from his bag and gives it to Yusei. He asks if the chip can be used with his D-Wheel, but Blitz wonders what this chip is.

Nerve suddenly grabs Rally's hand. He sees it's a brand new chip, asking Rally where he got it. Rally tells them that it's not like that, saying he found it at a junk place. Everyone looks at each other uncertainly, denying that to be true. Nerve asks if Rally went stealing again. Taka adds that if he really did, everybody will be caught up in it. Blitz says he'd hate for this to be blamed on them.

Yusei gets up, telling them to lay off. He moves over to Rally and asks for the chip. When he does, he looks at it before returning to the D-Wheel, saying he'll use it. Nerve asks if Yusei is sure, as Rally says, rather excitingly, that this chip will surely make his D-Wheel faster. Yusei doesn't say anything to that, putting the chip into the D-Wheel's motherboard.

Blitz understands where Yusei's coming from, but he adds that Yusei should relax and leave Jack alone. Rally responds by telling Blitz that Yusei is going to settle his business with Jack. Blitz understands, saying that's why he disagrees, afraid that Yusei will put himself on thin ice. Rally continues to argue, adding that Jack also stole Yusei's ace monster (Stardust Dragon). Blitz is tired of arguing with him, so he turns to ask if Yusei is serious about leaving. Yusei quickly replies that he's not "leaving" but "going".

Note: "leaving" but "going" have different meanings in Japanese. "leaving" means going out without returning. However, "going" means going out and returning. What Yusei wants to say is that, unlike Jack, he will just go out and return to everyone.

Nerve agrees that Yusei should give up on it, telling him that Jack doesn't belong with them, since Jack had been different from them from the start. The chip seems to work well when Yusei turns the engine on. Everybody looks very amazed, as Rally excitedly asks what Yusei thinks about it, asking if it runs differently from before. Yusei nods his head, agreeing with him. Rally then picks up Yusei's helmet and tells him to take it for a spin, since his ride can now move very quickly.

Suddenly, light is spotted from the crack in the ceiling, illuminating the station base. Blitz realizes that it's security, and Yusei steps back a bit. They're searching for Rally Dawson, his Verification Number being AWX-86007, saying that he's become a suspect of larceny. Taka and Blitz look at Rally in shock, while the security team tells him to surrender immediately. As long as he has a mark on his face, he can't escape. Nerve is pissed about the fact that Rally stole the chip, as Rally tries to apologize, confessing that he took it from the plant. He says that he did it all just for Yusei to be able to defeat Jack. Although he has a point, Nerve still doesn't calm down.

Yusei comes in and stops Nerve, returning to his laptop, while Nerve says that he's to blame as well. Taka adds that as long as Rally has the mark on his face, he can't run away from Security. It seems that the mark's signal is being detected by the security team, so they always know his direction. Because of that, Yusei types on his laptop to make the mark's signal unable to work. The signal is disrupted and jammed, and the security guard in the helicopter can't locate Rally's location.

Yusei tells his friends that the mark's signal is disrupted. Nerve asks if he jammed the signal, while Yusei continues to say that everyone should move out. Telling them that he'll draw the security guards away, Yusei gets on his D-Wheel and rides off, as Nerve says that they'll go. Yusei takes off through the West Domino Subway exit, but many security guards had been waiting. One of the guards sees him on a D-Wheel, and tells the others that their suspect is on the run, commanding them to chase him.

The security guards are traveling by car, bike, and helicopter, all pursuing Yusei on a highway. Yusei doesn't look worried. He just thinks that his D-Wheel is going fast because of the chip. The balance between the front and back tire output and his speed balance control is perfect. A guard tells him to stop his D-Wheel and pull over, but Yusei then rides into an abandoned factory and stops there. A security guard gets off his bike, appearing to be [Tetsu Ushio]. Ushio thinks that Yusei stole his red D-Wheel, asking where he stole it from.

Yusei doesn't answer that question, looking at Ushio with a serious face. The truth is that he didn't steal it from anywhere, and instead assembled it himself. Ushio notices that Yusei doesn't have a mark on his face, so he's just a decoy, saying that scum risk themselves for scum. Not budging, Yusei sits there, looking serious. Regardless, Ushio says that Yusei's aiding in the escape means he did a fine job giving them a reason to put him under custody. Ushio also wonders where Yusei got his D-Wheel from.

Yusei calls his attention, and when Ushio hears him, he looks at Ushio seriously, challenging him into a duel. Ushio laughs, repeating Yusei's challenge, calling him a "Satellite scum". He even thinks that Yusei doesn't have any cards to duel with, telling him to not make him laugh. Yusei says he's found some cards, and places his deck into a slot on his wrist. If he wins, Yusei says, he wants the security guards to forget everything that happened today. The other security guard calls him crazy, but Ushio cuts him off, saying that he's up for it. The guard still disagrees, telling him that it's not a wise thing to do.

Ushio tells the guard that this is his responsibility, and so the others should leave. The guard is worried, but Ushio looks at him angrily, telling him to go, asking if the guard really believes he'll lose. The guard has no choice but to follow Ushio's orders, returning to the police car, telling the other guard of the order. When they leave, only Ushio and Yusei remain at the ruined factory. Yusei thinks that Ushio is an interesting guy. Ushio asks Yusei about what it is he's driving at, and Yusei explains that he never trusted a security guard, but duelists are a different story (He trusts duelists). Since Ushio accepted the duel, he trusts him. Walking away to his bike, Ushio says that this punk, Yusei, is giving him a headache.

Both of them prepare their bikes and turn to face the ruined factory. Ushio says that it's time to go, setting the field spell, [Speed World - Field Spell: {Magic cards other than Magic cards with Speed Spell in their names cannot be activated. Add a Speed Counter to this card? according to your Speed? ???When your opponent attacks you directly, remove a number of Speed Counters from this card equal to that monster's attack power by increments of 1000???}], to change the duel theme into a riding duel. The computerized voice says, "Duel Mode: Autopilot. Standby!", and the two begin with a full 4000 LP. "Duel!", the two shout, starting the duel by taking off on their bikes.

EPISODE SUMMARY - PART 2

1st Turn - Ushio

Yusei's SPCs 0
Ushio's SPCs 0

The scene pans upward in a power plant made blue due to the Speed World field spell, as Yusei and Ushio speed off. According to the effect of Speed World, no Speed Counter increases in the first turn of the game. Ushio says he'll take the first move, drawing a card. He summons [Assault Gundog - 4/1200/800: When this card is sent to the Cemetery as a result of battle, you can Special Summon 1 Assault Gundog from your deck] onto the field in attack position. Setting up a face-down card, he ends his turn. On Yusei's screen, we see Ushio's field, showing Assault Gundog and his face-down card.

2nd Turn - Yusei

Yusei's SPCs 1
Ushio's SPCs 1

We then see Yusei's first 5-card hand, attached to his left arm. The cards there are Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, Road Runner, Equip Shoot, Sp-Vision Wind, and Backup Soldiers. He declares his turn, drawing a card, as 1 speed counter is placed in the system due to the effect of the Speed World field spell. As a result, Yusei's SPC gauge currently shows 1 counter. Yusei then summons [Speed Warrior - 2/900/300: This can only be activated during the Battle Phase of the turn in which this card is successfully summoned. Double this card's original attack power until the end of the Battle Phase] onto the field in attack position.

Ushio sees the stats of Yusei's Speed Warrior, wondering why Yusei summoned his monster in attack position. Its attack power isn't even close to his Assault Gundog's. As Speed Warrior runs alongside Yusei's D-Wheel, its ATK points increase to 1800 (900*2), surprising Ushio, who asks if its ATK doubled. Yusei explains that in the turn it's summoned, its ATK can double during and only during in that battle phase. Ushio's annoyed, saying that Yusei's ticking him off, calling him trash.

Yusei then calls Speed Warrior, and it launches its "Sonic Edge" attack against Assault Gundog. Assault Gundog fires in response while Speed Warrior dodges and closes in to destroy it. This attack reduces Ushio's LP to 3400 (4000+1200-1800). Ushio says that Yusei's gone and done it now, adding that his monster also has a special effect. Another Assault Gundog is summoned in attack position, as Ushio explains that when it's destroyed in battle, he can special summon another Assault Gundog from his deck. Yusei doesn't seem to lose his cool, setting a face-down card to end his turn. At this moment, the attack points of Speed Warrior return to its original 900 points.

3rd Turn - Ushio

Yusei's SPCs 2
Ushio's SPCs 2

Wapper Dragon
Monster Card

Ushio then declares his turn, drawing a card. He releases Assault Gundog to advance summon the Level 5 monster, [Wapper Dragon - 5/1800/1800: When this card is destroyed and sent to the Cemetery as a result of an opponent's monster's attack, equip this card to that monster treated as an Equip Card. Reduce the equipped monster's attack power by 1800 points. When this card is sent to the Cemetery via the equipped monster being destroyed, you can Special Summon this card to your side of the field] onto the field in attack position.

Note: These are a few of the many changes in dueling terminology that comes with the OCG's Duel Monsters Master Rules. A Release is the same as a sacrifice, and an Advance Summon is the same as a Tribute Summon.

Ushio turns his motorbike sideways, declaring Wapper Dragon's attack, "Wapper Shoot", against Speed Warrior. At this moment, Yusei activates his face-down trap, [Scrap-Iron Scarecrow ~ Kuzutetsu No Kakashi - Trap: You can activate this when a monster on your side of the field is attacked. Negate the attack of 1 of your opponent's monsters. After activation, instead of sending this card to the Cemetery, you can place it in the Set position on your side of the field. You cannot activate this card in the turn you activate this effect].

As Ushio is taken aback, Yusei explains that it allows him to negate an opponent's attack (Wapper Dragon's attack, in this case). Ushio says that it wasn't that bad a move, but it's clear he was prepared. He immediately opens his face-down trap card [Wiretap ~ Gyakutan - Counter Trap: Negate the effects of an opponent's Trap card, return that card to your opponent's deck and shuffle it. Your opponent cannot activate any cards of the same name until they draw that card].

This card can negate the activation of a trap (Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, in this case) and return it to its owner's deck. Scrap-Iron Scarecrow fades away, as Ushio sicks his Wapper Dragon on Speed Warrior, destroying it. Yusei's LP decreases to 3100 (4000+900-1800). It seems that Ushio's turn ends here, as he and Yusei speed past each other. Ushio tells him that no matter how good his deck's onslaught of mish-mash cards is, trash is still trash.

4th Turn - Yusei

Yusei's SPCs 3
Ushio's SPCs 3

Turning towards Ushio, Yusei declares his move. He draws a card and summons [Road Runner - 1/300/300: This card cannot be destroyed in battle with monsters that have an attack power of 1900 or higher] onto the field in defense position. Road Runner appears and turns blue as it guards itself. Setting 2 face-down cards, Yusei ends his turn, the 2 cards and his monsters moving along with his D-Wheel. Ushio laughs, asking if Yusei's planning a one-way defensive, saying that he's nothing but talk.

5th Turn - Ushio

Yusei's SPCs 4
Ushio's SPCs 4

Ushio declares his turn, drawing a card. Smiling, he sends 3 monsters into his cemetery slot: Guard Dog, Assault Gundog, and Tactical Espionage Expert. After sending the Level 4, 3, and 3 monsters from his hand to the cemetery, Ushio special summons [Montage Dragon - 8/?/0: This card cannot be Normal Summoned. This card can only be Special Summoned by sending 3 Monster cards in your hand to the Cemetery. This card's attack power is 300 x the total level of monsters sent to the Cemetery when this card was Special Summoned] onto the field in attack position.

Road Runner
Monster Card
Montage Dragon
Monster Card

Yusei looks collected, as Ushio explains that the ATK of this monster is equal to the combined levels of the monsters sent to the cemetery with its effect, multiplied by 300. Yusei sees Montage Dragon's stats on his visual screen, noting that its ATK is 3000.

Note: Guard Dog and Assault Gundog are Level 3 monsters, while Tactical Espionage Expert is a Level 4 monster. Their levels add up to increase the ATK of Montage Dragon to 3000 (300*10).

Ushio first declares Wapper Dragon's "Wapper Shoot" attack against Road Runner, destroying it. Yusei laments that Road Runner was taken out, as Ushio, after turning sideways again, follows that up with Montage Dragon's "Power Collage" attack directly against Yusei. This heavy strike reduces Yusei's LP to 100 (3100-3000) and also makes him slow down. The SPC counter on his monitor shows his speed counters decrease from 4 to 1.

Note: Due to the effect of Speed World, 1 Speed Counter is added each turn, including the opponent's. Yusei currently had 4 Speed Counters (He got 1 Speed Counter in the duel's 2nd turn). For each 1000 LP he loses from a direct attack, he loses 1 Speed Counter. Montage Dragon caused 3000 damage, so he had to lose 3 Speed Counters (3000/1000).

Yusei's SPCs 1
Ushio's SPCs 4

Yusei realizes that his speed was affected by the impact from the direct attack. Ushio points out that Yusei has just 100 LP left, adding that he's just scum. The cards left in Yusei's hand are Sp-Vision Wind and Backup Soldiers.

6th Turn - Yusei

Yusei's SPCs 2
Ushio's SPCs 5

His hand approaches his deck, his face showing that this is his last chance. Before drawing a card, he begs to his deck, "My cards, I have faith in you. Heed my voice".

When Yusei draws, he smiles and realizes that it came: the card he wanted. Yusei summons a Tuner monster,[Junk Synchron - 3/1300/500: When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower monster in your Graveyard in face-up defense mode. Any effects of an Effect Monster Special Summoned by this effect are negated] onto the field in attack position.

Ushio is surprised at the sight of his Tuner monster, asking if he's planning something. But Yusei cuts him off, saying that he is, opening his face-down trap card [Angel Lift - Permanent Trap: Select 1 monster with a level of 2 or lower in your Cemetery and Special Summon it in attack mode. Once this card is no longer on the field, destroy that monster. When that monster is removed from the field, destroy this card].

Junk Synchron
Tuner Monster Card
Angel Lift
Trap Card

Angel Lift has an effect that allows Yusei to special summon a level 2 or lower monster from his cemetery onto the field in attack position. He chooses Speed Warrior, and it dashes right out from Angel's Lift. Ushio is taken aback, as Yusei's Speed Warrior and Junk Synchron come together and begin to glow. Yusei says that by tuning Speed Warrior with Junk Synchron, their clustering stars call out a new force. Speed Warrior flies into ring paths in the air with the power of Junk Synchron.

Yusei continues, saying that it will become the path that its light shines upon. A beam of green light passes by Yusei, as he declares a "Synchro Summon", calling out [Junk Warrior - 5/2300/1300: When this card is Synchro Summoned, this card's attack power is increased by the total of the attack power of all Level 2 or lower monsters face-up on your side of the field]. Junk Warrior releases lightning from its fist, appearing in attack position.

Note1: A Synchro Summon is a new combination between a Tuner and non-Tuner monster. In order to perform a Synchro Summon, the levels of the Tuner and non-Tuner monsters must add up to be the exact level of the desired Synchro monster (no more, no less). Once that is satisfied, the two monsters are sent to the Cemetery, and the Synchro monster can be summoned from the Extra Deck. In this case, Junk Synchron (Tuner Monster) has 3 stars while Speed Warrior (Non-Tuner Monster) has 2 stars. Their stars are added up to 5 (3+2), the star level of Junk Warrior (Synchron Monster) exactly.

Note 2: Another terminology change, the Extra Deck is what used to be called the Fusion Deck, and is limited to 15 cards, following the OCG's Master Rules.

Ushio is in disbelief at seeing Junk Warrior, asking if a Satellite scum like him managed to perform a Synchro Summon. But, he adds, Junk Warrior's ATK power doesn't hold a candle to Montage Dragon's higher ATK power. Yusei and Junk Warrior speed up, as Yusei activates a Speed Spell card: [Sp-Vision Wind - Spell: You can only activate this card if you have 2 or more Speed Counters. Special Summon 1 monster with a level of 2 or lower in your Cemetery. The monster Special Summoned by this effect is destroyed at the end of this turn]. Ushio's taken aback by Yusei's Speed Spell, saying that he reduced "that punk's" speed with his direct attack.

Junk Warrior
Synchro Monster Card
Sp-Vision Wind
Speed Spell Card

Note: As mentioned earlier in this episode, as long as Speed World is in play, only a "Speed Spell" card, indicated by "Sp" in its card name, can be played, such as Sp-Vision Wind. In addition, the ability to play a "Speed Spell" card relies on the number of Speed Counters (SPC) a duelist has. Sp-Vision Wind's effect requires at least 2 SPCs in order to be played. In the duel's 5th turn, Yusei's SPC decreased from 4 to 1 because of Montage Dragon's direct attack. In the duel's 6th turn (Yusei's 3rd turn), his SPC increased by 1 (The amount of SPCs increases by 1 with each turn). Thus, he currently has 2 SPCs, and so he can activate Sp-Vision Wind.

Yusei continues his move by saying that Sp-Vision Wind allows him to special summon, from his cemetery, a level 2 or lower monster to the field. And so he special summons the Level 2 Speed Warrior. Next, Yusei activates Junk Warrior's special effect, which adds the combined attack power of all Level 2-or-less monsters on his side of the field to its own ATK power. With just Speed Warrior on his field, the attack points of Junk Warrior go up to 3200 (2300+900).

Ushio sees the increase on his helmet's data screen, saying that his combo with that Speed Spell shot Junk Warrior's ATK up, adding that Yusei's a cocky guy. The two duelists and their monsters speed down the path, as Yusei then commands Junk Warrior to attack Wapper Dragon with its "Scrap Fist" attack. The jab takes out Montage dragon, and reduces Ushio's LP to 2000 (3400+1800-3200).

Ushio then tells him that although he destroyed Wapper Dragon in favor of damage, he's only sped up the duel's outcome. Wapper Dragon suddenly reappears and binds Junk Warrior, reducing its ATK power to 1400. He tells Yusei to look, saying that when Wapper Dragon is destroyed in battle, it turns into an equip card for one of the opponent's monsters, and reduces the equipped monster's ATK power by its own. The two duelists continue to zip by, as Ushio says that this should be the end for Yusei. As the two get separated by a fork in their path, Ushio adds that Yusei and his friends can't escape authority.

Equip Shoot
Trap Card

However, Yusei sounds calm, as he says that he'll use that effect for himself, shocking Ushio. Yusei then activates his face-down trap card, [Equip Shoot - Trap: You can only activate this during a Battle Phase. Select 1 Equip Card equipped to a face-up attack mode monster on your side of the field plus 1 monster in face-up attack mode on your opponent's side of the field, and equip the selected Equip Card to the selected opposing monster. Afterwards, conduct battle with your monster that was previously equipped with the selected opposing monster and apply Damage Calculations]. Junk Warrior's ATK power then rises back to 3200 (1400+1800), and it gets out of Wapper Dragon's bind, shooting it over to Montage Dragon.

Ushio is shocked, as Montage Dragon's ATK power drops to 1200 (3000-1800). Yusei then explains that Equip Shoot is a card that re-equips an Equip Card to an opponent's monster. He adds that the monsters targeted by this effect are forced to battle. Yusei commands Junk Warrior to attack Montage Dragon, as it flies over to Montage Dragon and uses its "Scrap Fist" attack to destroy it. Ushio's LP are reduced exactly to 0 (2000+1200-3200). Ushio's motorbike then displays the outcome of the game, Ushio being on the defeated end of it, and the power plant returns to normal as Speed World disappears.

Duel End

After the game, Ushio's in disbelief, having never expected to be defeated by scum like Yusei. Yusei then stops by and tells him, "Any card, as long as it exists, has the potential to be useful. Someone who'd reject cards by calling them 'trash', like you, doesn't have the right to call himself a duelist".

Yusei then takes off, leaving Ushio to get pissed off, as he says that he's going to crush Yusei. Meanwhile,Yusei has left the factory and is riding along the highway when he stops to see Neo Domino City far away from him, shining brightly across the sea. Yusei stands with a fierce look, most likely thinking of his goal there, as he says, "Just wait, Jack!".
