In this season, Yusei becomes an official citizen of Neo Domino City along with his friends. However, he still doubts himself what he can do and contribute to the city, trying to prove himself in the 1st World Grand Prix. He is helping Crow and Jack develop new machines and also helping Ushio and Mikage investigate suspicious case for the security.

Jack is no longer a lonely king in this season. I stay with Yusei and Crow as a group and plan to participate in
the 1st World Grand Prix with them. He helps Yusei test developed machines to be used in the tournament and also tries to find a job to raise funds for development. However, with his attitude, he can't work with ordinary people and always makes Yusei and Crow worried. |

Aki turns to a high school at the same Duel Academia as Lua and Luca. She is the top-class student of the high school. Her personality has changed pretty much as she now gets along well with the kids and Yusei. Aki is trying to experience a riding duel in this season. Possibility that she is becoming a D-Wheeler lies ahead. |

Lua goes back to school at Duel Academia. His lively and hyper cheerful personality has never changed. Seeing that Aki is the top student of high school, he is inspired to become the top student of primary school. His dream seems difficult to come true as he is still defeated easily by his classmates. Lua develops his skill on riding duel this season by using a skateboard attached into his duel disk. |

Luca goes back to school with Lua at Duel Academia. She is always kind and cares about her classmates. Lua usually has to protect her from any unsuspicious guys getting close to her at school. Luca also learns how to do riding duel on a skateboard like Lua in this season. |

Sherry is a female D-Wheeler. Her family was killed without known cause since she was little. She was brought up Mizoguchi and tried to participate into the WGP to get close to Yliaster believe to kill her parents. For that purpose, she would like to convince Yusei to join her team and approach into a duel with him. |

A mysterious man called himself a masked racer has watched over Yusei struggling to find a new strategy to fight Machine Emperor. He gives Yusei a hint of a new way called Accel Synchro through a riding duel. |

Japanese Name: 牛尾哲
Ushio develops himself very much in Season I & II. Since his duel with Yusei, his behavior changes and makes him grow up. He now becomes big support of Yusei and the group on security's side, working as Mikage's assistant as he is still in love with her.

After Goodwin is gone, Yeager has 3 newly appointed director of the Public Security Maintenance Bureau to be his boss. He couldn't accomplish their plan and finally runs away from them. However, he is captured by Yusei and his friends. They save him and his family, so Yeager decides to fight Yliaster along with them. |

Placido is a member of the Yliaster group. He along with Jose and Lucciano become new bosses and take control over the Public Security Maintenance Bureau in Goodwin's place. A mysterious meteor which is a stone tablet falls to the earth and it appears to belong to him. Placido's plan in the Public Security Maintenance Bureau is still unknown. |

Lucciano is the smallest of the Yliaster group and is wrapped in a mysterious cloak. He along with Placido and Jose become new bosses of the Public Security Maintenance Bureau. |

Jose is the biggest guy of the Yliaster group. He crushes all those who view his terrifyingly large frame. He goes to the Public Security Maintenance Bureau with Placido and Lucciano. His long beard and large frame are unique characteristics. |

Kiryu reappears in the second season in the wilderness. He leaves the city and everyone, seeking for a place to die and ending his life at the Crash Town. He joins the Ramon group to duel its rivalry group, the Malcolm family. He looks very lifeless and empty. Yusei decides to save his friend at the edge of death, coming to the Crash Town. |

Sly is a classmate of Lua and Luca at Duel Academia and a top-class student. He has very cool and calm characteristic compared to differently cheerful personality of Lua. He is usually solitude but decides to follow his friends to visit Yusei as he is attracted to the champion of the Duel Fortune Cup. Seeing Yusei's Stardust Dragon, Sly has an idea that he would like to take it for his own. |

Patty is a classmate of Lua and Luca at Duel Academia. She is lively girl and always follows her friends to play at Yusei's place.

Ghost is a "Riding Roid" or a robot D-Wheeler currently developed by the Public Security Maintenance Bureau. It is stolen from the Public Security Maintenance Bureau and used to attack public D-Wheelers playing Synchro Monsters. Nobody is aware that Placido is behind the whole story. |

Mikage becomes a chief the Security Special Investigation, working with Ushio who is her assistant. She follows up with a series of crime around Neo Domino City. One of them is a Ghost case. She still hangs around with Yusei and friends, asking for their help and collaboration with the security. |

Saiga now becomes a member of Marsa's house and doesn't go back to his original place in Neo Domino City. He feels that the kids and people there are his family and his home. Anyway, he is still professional in data gathering and supports Yusei for any matter. |

Dr. Schmitt is living with Marsa and the kids on Satellite currently developed into a new-look city. He and Marsa are getting concerned about Tetsuzou who lives alone in his old house and doesn't want to move to live with them. |

Marsa is living with the kids and Dr. Schmitt at the same house. She is also a friend of Zora who provides facility for Jack, Yusei, and Crow to live in Neo Domino City. |

Zora is a landlord at the house where Yusei, Jack, and Crow are staying to develop new machines in Neo Domino City. Crow and Jack call her a noisy grandma. She have them stay in the house because she knows Marsa. She always complains when the kids make a loud noise and causes a problem in the house. However, Zora is very attracted to Yusei, unlike Crow and Jack, and always forgives him for any mistake. |

Garome is known as a Dark Financial Trader. He targets the poor, lends them money, lures them to sign fraudulent contracts, and rips them off. One of the victims is Marco who loses his dream to become a D-Wheeler and works hard for living. Jack fights Garome in order to bring back the boy's dream. |

Stephanie is working as a waitress at Cafe La Geen where Jack usually goes to have his favorite coffee, Blue Eyes Mountain. She would like to get close to him but has never had a chance to speak up. She has a chance once when Jack goes to work at the cafe, but he is fired shortly. |

Marco comes from a poor family which his mother is sick. He has to work hard all day all night to support he family. This boy has a big dream to become a D-Wheeler and participate in a tournament. However, he thinks that poverty takes away his dream. His family is cheated by Garome, and he has a lot of debt to pay. Jack fights Garome to get back the boy's dream. |

Miguel is Marco's younger brother. He would like his brother to make his dream come true and also tries to stop him from making his deck as an offering to the Duel Guardian. |

Heitmann is a professor and a Vice Principal at the Duel Academia where Lua, Luca, Tempei, Sly, Bob, and Patty go. He has a hard head difficult to understand things and tries to expel students using low-class monsters. He strongly believes that elites should use only powerful monsters. However, Yusei gives him a lesson through a duel in which low-class monsters of children can defeat Antique Gear Golem of the professor. |

The Principal of the Duel Academia is concerned about tough behavior of Professor Heitmann at the Duel Academia. His concept is that anybody can study dueling, which contradicts to Professor Heitmann's concept that only elites can learn dueling. Following Zora's instruction, he asks Yusei to come to school to change the professor's behavior.

The old man lives alone in an old house surrounded by mountains of junk. For a sake of his safety, Marsa tries to invite him to live together at her house. However, the old man refuses as he has something memorable at his home. Crow decides to confront the old man and learns what his precious things are.

Kouki is a beloved son of Tetsuzou. He loves a duel and holds Kid Junk card in possession. Because Tetsuzou was busy at work and didn't have time for family, Kouki and his mother left him. Tetsuzou just hopes that his son who loves a duel will come back, so he builds a handmade duel ring for him. |

The man calls himself to be a boss of the Riding Duel Business Group. He prefers people calling him a supervisor. His group gathers psychological doctors and uses them force people to join his team. Yusei as a champion of the Duel Fortune Cup becomes a target of his group. |

Mizoguchi is a mysterious man who saved Little Sherry, the only survivor of the Leblanc family. He took her away from a chase of Yliaster group and supported her until she grew up. He gives a hint to Yusei's friends that Yusei was kidnapped and also supports Sherry to duel Yusei. |

Michel lives with his sister in a solitude house in the forest. He tries to protect his sister by capturing everyone intruding the forest as he misunderstands that those people are evil spirits coming to harm his sister. Ruca meets him by chance and finds a secret of his family and captured people turned to spirits away. |

Claire is Michel's little sister and whom Michel would like to protect. She is always sick and can't move from her bed. Both she and Michel are living in a house in the forest. Michel is trying to protect her even though she has already passed away. |

Bruno loses his memory by some reason and is entrusted by the security into the custody of Yusei, Jack, and Crow. With his mechanical skill, he helps Yusei develop new machines and program used for the upcoming tournament. He seems to have some secret relation with the Placido's group. |

Malcolm is the leader of the Malcolm family and the main rival of the Ramon group. His family has a sign that everyone wears a red scarf. His group is in the Crash Town, and he seeks for outstanding duelists to rival the Ramon group. |

Ramon is the leader of the Ramon group in the Crash Town. He gets Kiryu and has him duel his main rival, the Ramon group, to take control the mountain with Dyne material. |

Barbara is the lady at the flower shop in the Crash Town. She is aware of Kiryu's existence in the town and his relationship with Yusei. She thus writes a letter to Yusei, asking him to come to the Crash Town to take him back. However, her true face is an evil woman, luring Yusei to the Crash Town to get rid of Kiryu. |

Malcolm's younger brother travels for a training. He comes back to help his brother and the Malcolm take over the town and the mountain. |

West is a boy at the Crash Town. He is attracted to Kiryu and would like to be strong like him so that he can save his dad captured at the mountain. |

Nico is West's older sister. Their father is captured to the mountain, and they both try to find a way to save their dad. She is also attracted to Kiryu and tries to save him away from the Crash Town. |

Sergio is Nico and West's father. He brings them to the Crash Town and tries to show an image of a strong dad to the kids. However, he ends up with being sent to the mountain. Having been saved by Kiryu, Sergio sacrifices himself to have everyone leave the mountain safely. |

Leo is Zora's son. He has a dream to become a clock repairer. With his carefree and reckless characteristic, he always has a conflict with Zora. By accident, Leo broke the clock at Zora's house and didn't have confidence to fix it even after his 3-year training. Meeting Crow makes him able to face Zora again and also makes him gain his confidence. |

Pearson is the true owner of Black Feather deck and Black Bird D-Wheel. He is a close friend of Crow and Bolger, having a dream to develop D-Wheel with Satellite base. With a conflict against Bolger, Pearson was killed and entrusted his deck and D-Wheel along with his will to protect the Satellite children with Crow. |

Bolger is a close friend of Crow and Pearson. He helps Pearson develop D-Wheels with Satellite base. Making D-Wheels is their highest dream. However, Bolger misunderstands Pearson and betrays him. He later runs the world top class business of D-Wheel production named Bolger & Company. His company supports the WRGP and also produces a new D-Wheel with high acceleration to be used in the tournament. |

Rick is an officer of Bolger & Company (B&C). He carries on Bolger's will to support Yusei and Crow in the WR-GP after Bolger is arresed for murdering Pearson. B&C is a D-Wheel manufacturing company, so Rick changes the lastest technology of engine into Yusei's, Jack's, and Crow's D-Wheels. |

Andore is an ace of the Unicorn team. His team is the champion of the Atlantis tournament and expected to be the winner of the WR-GP. He has strong leadership and sense of card playing. It's an ability to determine the best play from available cards on hand. |

Jean is the leader of the Unicorn team. Unlike Andore with cool personality, Jean is more impatient and straight. He is a strategy man and sets a game plan in any play. |

Breo is a member of the Unicorn team. He has a friendly look unlike Jean. He follows Jean's plan to lure Yusei into a riding duel with Andore by having his D-Wheel crashed by Crow and making it look like an accident. |

Nicolas is the leader of Catastrophe Team. He is living in an undeveloped district on Neo Domino City and would like to get out off this place. Placido entrusts him a card of darkness, and Nicolas uses it and hopes that it will bring him a better life. |

Hermann is a teammate of Nicolas. He plays aggressively in a riding duel and makes people crashed intentionally. He first didn't agree with Nicolas to use a card of darkness, but finally used it to crush down Jean, Andore, Crow, and even Aki. |

Hans is a teammate and friend of Hermann and Nicolas. With reckless character, he plays a supporting role to the team and never gets into a duel.

Haruka is a patient at the hospital where Aki stays. Both meet in a hallway when the weird phenomenon is happening around Neo Domino City. Haruka is always scared, and Aki tries to comfort her. The big tornado created by Yusei's and Placido's duel breaks the windows at the hospital and almost blows her off the building. Aki decides to risk her life to save this little girl without using her psychic power. |

After Bommer was released from the Earthbound God, he returned to his home town where he reunioned with his siblings, Max and Annie. In this season, he along with his siblings have a journey to Peru where Nazca Lines are situated and settle their lives there. Bommer feels responsible for what he did as a Dark Signer, and he decides to settle his life at Nazca plateau to calm down the Earthbound Gods sealed under this land. However, he is used by the crimson devil to lure Jack to this land. |

Annie is Bommer's sibling who follows him to live in Nazca plateau. She along with her brother, Max, helps Bommer create a shrine to worship the god on this land. |

Bommer's brother has a journey with him to Peru where Nazca Lines are situated on. His soul was once taken as a sacrifice to the Earthbound God, and he couldn't remember anything at that time. He thus still admires Jack as the duel king, trying to play the same power deck as Jack. Anyway, the spirit of the crimson devil under Nazca Plateau controls his body to have a riding duel with his hero. |

Familiar is a servant of the crimson devil under Nazca plateau. He lures Jack into a duel to take his body as a tribute for the crimson devil to revive. He represents a guardian of the underworld and uses a deck that reflects his guardian role. |

Kaoru is a son of the vice president Yeager. He really admires his father as a great man and recognizes Yusei and the gang as the one who always bullies his dad. Yeager wants to protect him and his wife, so he decides to join Yusei to fight Yliaster. |

Atsuko is a wife of Yeager. She along with her son, Kaoru, moves to live in the draining tunnel to get away from Yliaster. |

Clark is the director of Mormetn Express and works for Yliaster. He knows that Yusei sneaks into the company's facility, so he tries to eliminate him by sending him to another dimension. His lone act unsatisfies the 3 Yliasters, so he is finally erased by them. |

Dr.Leblanc is Sherry's father. He knew Clark's and Yliaster's plan to alter the history, so he was eliminated by them. |

Dragan is one of the 3 emperors who posses one of the well-known 3 tripolar gods. The cards protect him and his teammates from the weried phenomenon made by Yliaster. He represents his team in an exhibition match and selects Jack to be his opponent. |
